Ugo, right? Like San Diego, like in the middle.
So are you a Laker fan? Yeah.
How many fans? Uh, it's gonna be tough, but LeBron LeBron the goat there, you see? Sorry.
It's gonna be tough tonight.
I mean, if LeBron better dominate, though, like I can't, he needs if he wants files and repeatedly. So awesome.
I'll be so happy.
Yeah, only a is two years too tough.
He like you can't stop him.
Yeah, we should.
It should be all right tonight.
I mean, I want Lakers and six.
I wanna get stuck like competitiveness, but, I mean, the the here, like they're not good like people.
People are saying they're good.
They're not. They're not good. You can't.
You can't match them up against the Lakers.
They just played Matt.
Hard place to bar.
Yeah, they played it hard, like eventually.
You know, you can't win an NBA championship with the heart. It's not.
It's not how it works.
Like heart takes you so far from Miami.
I'm 45 minutes away.
So, uh, yeah, so, yeah, I go there a lot, but and was, you know, it was confined to the interview about four.
Make sure you guys follow me on Instagram.
I felt I post all these interviews I do here on SportsCastr.
So if you gather showing up late or leaving early and you don't really feel like rewatching the whole stream suit, you missed being fun.
All the highlights and all the best the best clips, all my instagram, my XFL and for you guys that may want to read any of the articles ever in for a company down here in South Florida, along with some recent recruitment.
If I've been putting off about some of these guys I talked to here in SportsCastr, you can also find out on my Twitter.
I hope so, Crews.
But anyways, you know, let me ask my my first question.
So what are some of your best moments? That ranch or question? Dang Officers say every every.
I'll start with this whenever we travel.
Um, all the whole policy went to those that are always fine.
You know what from Kelly and whenever we went to Massachusetts or slow and I was like That's pretty cool, But the Sierra Canyon Games every Syria can games always like super height.
Um, like a rivalry out here.
I sincerely canyon.
And those games are go crazy whether, uh, even if you win or lose, it don't matter.
Those games are always the best.
Wait, What was the school? What was the school that like Shaquille O'Neal on Brownie went to for a little bit? E forgot about crossroads.
I thought I thought they were Sierra Cans Rival or without this kind of for that year ish.
Well, they probably were, but no one is the Sierra Canyon, but that's kind of worried kind of things.
You guys were the only team in all California has ever beat in Sierra Canyon in the last two years.
That's a big That's a big, big stretch.
Yeah, that's pretty.
That's pretty crazy.
What do you think? What makes us just a rivalry? You know, Sierra King and rancher Christian, why is such a big help that match up in the state of California? We're usually like, going in and see some, usually one or two.
Usually Sarah can't always ahead of us, But the last two years, we beat him the first time that he is the second time.
But usually it's just we're not, like describe it, but it's just like there's so much tension.
And it's always fun, though, So what would you say is the fun part of that rivalry? Um, really, Just, like will never replace their cannon.
It's always a like That's the game, like it's like advertised, like two months ahead and like we played them in the Dang Classic last year and even everyone kind of knew like Christmas Cherry candy.
And that game was like it was it was overflow like people couldn't come in. It was crazy.
And you have all the celebrities that always show up Stupid celebrities.
Brandi Wade, Um, Max is nice over there.
This is like so many celebrities that are always there Hollywood stars, and it's always like mad, loud, always a good game and just find is competing at that level.
And I want to talk about about the celebrities.
I'm gonna ask you quick, would you rather, um so would you rather play in like a complete you know, just packed gym decent game in front of like, you know? Yeah, people will just kind of like normal people Or would you rather play a game? But just against, you know, maybe, or just in front of, like, 2020 celebrities? Not not your favorite.
Like celebrities? Uh, I'll probably say a prize.
A butter, a bunch of people.
You have just a bunch of people.
How come? Because like, it's cool.
But it's like being on like it's cool, but like it just when there's a packed crowd, it's just a different building. It's crazy.
And you know what? When they're all the slaves at a game like I mean LeBron, that's is crazy.
I know vibrancy, LeBron like I was.
I don't even know how I act honestly like way too, you know, like he's pretty much go in Miami as well, Like I'm wearing like, his shirt right now.
So I mean, when you're playing a game, you to see them there.
What are some of your initial thoughts, or do you really not even think about it like before the game when you're warming up like remember warming up, you see the way to get real unit a basket like your heart for sure, jobs like game he waits here and you like doing layups and stuff.
And then But when you're playing, you don't really think about it.
I mean, I gotta and one against Sarah Canon and the way like helped me up like I felt like in front of him and he, like, helped me up and like like I was in my mind, like what the heck? But also I was like, Let's go and win So you kind of don't think about it till after and before, but it's just it's just weird.
And and at least one like waiting, waiting LeBron.
They're like they're obviously not there for you there for a Sierra Canyon.
But do they ever get to talk to your team? You know, because I mean, obviously every team would love to talk to them so they ever show love to you guys air just to, you know, their sons teams.
I mean, they really I know Brown always be like on the side, but you know, Brandi going hard for they both are Sarah Cannon fans.
But you know, if we make a good player something, you'll see them like like checking the head or like you know, recognizing, you know, respect.
But they don't ever go on.
Just talk to your team is the whole I give you guys they got five minute lecture or something like that.
I kind of kind of sucks.
Have you ever played how you played for any rapper before? Like I know, I know.
It should be read pulled up to see, uh, brand in Boston.
I don't know if I don't know if you have been in front of any rappers before, too.
Like that should get You said wait.
Should be read came.
He gave me one of our like, I want to say it was a year before it should be random.
Billy Islands came that one year, and that was crazy.
Like, I think we didn't know.
We just like, all of a sudden the crowd started screaming.
It was like we were on the bench.
That was tricky.
Ready? Give me all this right here.
I was like, What? That's crazy.
Yeah, I mean, that that is so crazy when you I don't know, like I'm a pretty big, truly ready fan building.
I was I think she's terrible, but I don't know when you saw that? Was that Was that, like, extremely crazy for you? Or was that just kind of, you know, another celebrity, I guess.
Like at that time, it was like, this was like, when? Like that Scotty Cash, you're standing them.
So, like, I don't really know what really honest waas But I just know everybody was going crazy and it after, like so my teammates knew she waas.
But, you know, during the game, you don't really care.
But after this, like a game.
Yeah, well, while for tribute, rather, you just don't like him at all.
So much should be read music.
It's not my favorite, but I respect him.
He's a good artist.
Yeah, And when you say it just being from that of the California area, like, it just seems like I mean, you know, you think kind of celebrities like you're gonna think of, you know, California from even though you're not from Los Angeles.
Kind of still what you think of, you know, So I was like celebrities.
You're gonna think of California, So anything just being from there like you're kind of used to seeing all the stars all over the place like it's not as big of a deal to you is what maybe be, you know, a kid from like Nebraska.
Yeah, I think, Yeah, probably because, you know, I don't really go to delay that much, but it's Yeah, it's probably more normal because it's like California.
Everybody thinks of California, something like crazy place.
But when you're actually here, it's just like regular for sure.
And just what's it like? Not just playing, you know, California basketball.
But you're also, you know, playing in the top guys night, a night out.
Oh, you know my opinion.
Southern California All section, Southern section and like the best basketball and you honestly, like especially open division like you're playing.
Every team has like three or four like Division one guys like it's crazy, like every team is in like Southern California and at least one of mostly one or two to begin with.
Guys, um so it Z, I like it, you know, you could always play the top competition, and it's not really know like, yeah, there's some bad teams but prepares people like me or whatever to go to the next month, and I'm asking a question like California like I want to consider myself Florida boy.
Well, you know, like people are like, Oh, you're a Florida boy.
It's obviously it's obviously not me, but I know you got a chain like, Yeah, I mean, your hair is pretty long.
Would you kind of say, I'm like a Cali boy or whatever? Whatever they call you guys E No.
Boy, you could afford a boy to know there's no I I don't even listen up only for the rapper.
Listen to is like Broadway.
If I listen a lot, I know you like him. I saw some of your captions.
Yeah, I probably listen to him longer than you have the I know for a fact I know you probably started, like in, like April.
Well, you probably have started, like, last year.
No out of. And I started.
The first time I listened to is maybe definitely 2019 either.
Like November, baby.
Like that album during the late Oh, yeah.
That was the first time listening for something.
Listen to, that's all.
Yeah, he's He's tough.
But what do you say? maybe makes, uh, what do you say? Like the aspects to be, uh, via County boy.
Gotta like swimming.
Gotta like the beach.
You like the beach you can't get county boy.
You gotta like you kind of like me because I out here like we don't really have, like, a winter.
It's like always like, hot.
So these guys used to that weather.
What about what about the pool? No love for the pool.
All Yeah, you gotta You gotta like the pool.
But, you know, it be hot dogs sometimes would be, like, so high.
You don't want to give him.
Yeah, I kind of agree.
And now talk about your journey with Compton Magic.
I've been going a tope since I was, like, really little, like, five or six.
That so my brother played, um, he played in the area, too, and it's like when it happened to you.
But when I got older, like some of the coaches from my brother's team went to Compton magic and stuff.
So I started playing.
There were, like, in sixth grade, his middle school.
Yeah, I played till I was in eighth grade, eighth grade.
I got moved up to the 15 you team and I child with them in the summer and stuff.
And then, yeah, ever since then, only team I ever put on the uniform migrant, but on since high school.
Yeah, and that's just unbelievable, because I mean, let's be honest here.
I mean, the cops magic.
It's either the nation's most popular program or just one of the nation's most popular travel basketball programs.
You know, I'm in Florida and I hear about them all the way across the country.
So what do you think just makes the Compton magic stand out among the rest? Um, one.
We're always good, like, no matter what.
Like, we're always top team at all.
Gun. Let's all ideas.
Why, like the top team? Um, a Topas Good at We're good at the marketing and everything.
And, um, really, that's all really comes to me and we like we have ah, good resident putting out guys and have a good team.
Have they been around for a long time? Yeah, they've been out.
Got mad around for a long time.
Like I don't want to get it wrong.
They told you, Get mad at me.
But they've been out for a long time.
Like 14 is that I got the director.
Yeah, it's a it's open s**** pretty much over.
See him? Well, it's a is a tow or a toe.
A so like a T o P.
08 Opens and s****.
Oh, it's all his last name or nickname.
That is his nickname.
Okay, that's kind of funny.
Like there's a Tobin.
The director for a night ride is over here.
I mean, I think it is. I never heard his name is Kino.
That's his name.
Yeah, maybe I really thought directors, But I was I remember the comedy Magic Were you Were you part of the young boy Claver? Oh, yeah, I got some Yeah, I got some young boy stuff that was tough young men off the wrapper.
Oh, no, He's like, No, I would not put in top five.
He's not like he's He's like I was like he's having a good message behind his songs.
No, that's not Tell me.
It's all sorts of weird right now. Send me send me a song right now.
All right. All right.
I mean, that Zarley there it was all my you know, it was I don't know.
He's, like, trying to make, like, a slightly depressing song.
This okay? I mean, zio, that's not fair.
That's not fair, man.
This respect, young boy, that's crazy.
I put him, I'd say 10 5.
No, that's not it. That's not it.
I was on live with this basketball player like debate, and I was, like, for not that much people, But, you know, I was saying, like, you know, he's not.
He's not out there.
I mean, has he has good song? Oh, I don't like that.
What songs were not like from his album.
Yeah, right, Right for creep A song, that song A song, All this His new album is fired That you look fine by time.
Oh, my goodness.
I want here to tell me another sound So we'll see.
We'll see these lyrics find by time, All right? No, but you're trying to get, like, a few good songs.
He has? Yeah, The amazing song.
What do you mean diamonds like Oh, my God.
Dude, it's amazing.
How can you? I mean, these are listening a little about ladies.
It's not really giving me some Good, uh, not give me a good message.
Yeah, like I e Wow, I can't say this out loud, but this isn't No, that's not I mean, the only going rappers.
Let's say like, bad lyrics, like little woozy.
I listen to you.
If I wasn't in the town, I know what you're saying.
He doesn't have any message at all.
Yeah, Yeah, he's my exception.
If not, you listen to Meek Mill and J.
Cole that I've seen you.
Listen, Thio was pretty good Thio stuff.
Yeah, but young boy, like he's not.
He's not gonna be a good I'm gonna say things like that.
A little baby number two, Ecology number 30.
A boogie in there too.
Yeah, I can't get into a boogie, but I respected that.
Why can't I can't get into him like that.
I don't know why now I'm Paul Apology.
I respect, But I can't get into him either.
E, I just can't do this.
This is my I'll tell you like this.
Unusual rotation rappers and no, no order.
Um Broadway of Low Z Little Baby Juice World J.
Yeah, he's top five.
Now he's top five. He's top five.
Yeah, anyone e 15 records, bandages.
I mean, what if we're going? If we're going based off like rapper rappers, then I would say like then you have to like Conga and Travis Scott in there, but not like a fan of them.
I can't tell e can't talk to you about music, he said.
Wait for the interview.
No, I respect him.
I respect him like the only rapper, I would say.
I don't have to work to start for his young boy because he's like he makes me.
Yes, he's so aggressive, like that's the way lyrics in this song would be like, Oh my God, he's so good.
Now what? What song? Let me tell you the songs I listened to and I love his songs in my place on I drive like he's good, he's good to drive, and he's good to drive him.
That's all I could say.
He's dangerous, found like alone by myself like I can't listen to him.
Bandit's Oh, that's Zong stuff.
No, I like I have these air songs.
I have just only the better.
So I have I have not no offside and 10 talk.
That's what I have when I'm driving.
You don't know you Listen.
Those are the best songs on the album. No.
Yeah, but he makes he makes so many songs like a bunch of Mrs No.
Tell me I'm wrong.
Tell me I'm wrong.
All wrong album was number one before you can drive because I won't the cell number one before even jobs preorders e think his new album was definitely good, but which one I got into him.
I listened to pretty much realer.
I was not a ton and then I like, got so old from it.
I was in that whole album all freshman year, and then I had to stop.
I was like, I'm done, but the employees, the greatest rapper a library of I mean you're is one of those like you know, your boy baseball guys.
Yeah, artists, all genres.
All right, I respect cause there's so many guys out there.
But I would say I would say Wave e He's talked.
I mean, I'm putting.
Probably when Spotify put other things will be my number one. I think.
Oh, I like scream hit songs every song I'm screaming so much pain No, that that was too.
Said I was too sad Mr Paris on my favorite.
I'll tell you, I'll tell you right now.
Uh I mean, see? I mean, there's a lot I gotta go through, Like everything I'll hit the Lux I want or from the deluxe.
I know I liked letter from Houston, but I only liked I like that snippet of him.
But then I got kinda old collar and see e kinda like my colleague Smile a colleague Smile I saw it was like, Oh, no, um all the ones that are and you like I like I'll pray for love.
Um, after the world thief in the night thief in the night thief in the night.
That's something on my favorites, E stat.
That song is good.
No, it's really good, but it makes you get your feelings.
Oh, yeah, that's how I am.
That's why I listen to thug life is good.
Um, you were pretty good.
River in the sky, You know, all those air. Good.
I don't know his man.
He's the officers. Flames.
But anyways, you know, we could we could we go away from the wrapping now? I I say we talk more about basketball.
So, uh, always, how is your How was technically, how was your recruitment journey? My equipment journey was very, um I'll blessed to have the opportunity that the coach that recruited me.
But in my opinion and everyone's opinion, I know that my recruiting process was slower.
I'm on one of the more underrated guys like today.
Actually, year ago today, I got my first offer from San Diego.
So, like thinking like contact, I committed like, a couple weeks ago.
So I only have, like, a crazy, like, recruiting processes like you see on the other guy's stuff.
I'm really like I was really over lifting stuff.
But, you know, I got what I wanted golf, right? I wanted So I mean, knocking, at least in terms of that, like, that's like you saying that makes your crew process a little more crazy than others, because I mean so at the end of your junior year earned, I'm sorry.
So this will be like the beginning of my junior years when you receive your very first offer.
I mean, that's pretty late.
So obviously it's like a crazier process than most people e wanna know.
I even know some guys that, like they have offers, they're, like, stressed out about, you know, getting the story and offers all that stuff.
And they already thought, and they and they're not even or, you know, like they had before the junior even started.
So how are you able to handle that stress like, were you at all like, super nervous? A lot of nights, you know, just thinking like, what if I don't get any, uh, doing offers? You have to share, like I always knew, like my the type of player I was.
And I knew my work and like like, it was definitely hard, But honestly, I think like I'm grateful for it because many work so much harder kind of go against all these guys that say that offers and I would like kill him, and I will be playing at the top of that one, like I played against the best competition you possibly could and I excelled at those levels.
So I knew that, like, I knew it would come.
But it was hard waiting for him to come.
But honestly, just made me work like that much harder.
So you would like, you know, you said it was a little bit hard, but you wouldn't say It took down one of a toll on you going, I guess that long without an offer, Because because you didn't know, like, I'm doing everything right.
Like there's there's no way school's gonna pass up on me.
Yeah, it doesn't take a toll on me, but it wasn't like it wasn't because I honestly knew I was gonna get, like, one offers.
But it wasn't that.
It was just like it took a toll on me like it was like it was like a mental warfare, like, you know, you're gonna get offered, but they're not coming.
So it's like if I was a mental, just took like, a mental.
It was very hard, but I'm not gonna lie.
It was hard for sure.
And, uh, I'm just gonna ask a hypothetical.
Let's say you know at the end of your senior year now you still have no offers.
Um, what do you think you would dio? Would you think it would go crapper? What do you think you would there? Uh, uhh.
That's a great question saying, Have you offered my senior year? I'll probably wouldn't go.
I mean, that's a hard question.
Yeah, I'm just I'm just curious, man.
That's what I came here to do, you know, came to stump, you sag.
A authors always even is going to college.
The normal normal kid.
Not that I probably have went to like you probably went prep or do co.
But you could go Probably cracked up, All right.
And, uh, you know, luckily, that I never had to be a case for you.
So why did you ultimately end up choosing Pacific University? It is Pacific University.
Right here is like the university.
Oh, University of Pacific.
Good thing I'd put that out, but I was so embarrassed, but out there.
So why Why did you end up ultimately choosing the University of Pacific? Um, Miss, I mean, first of all, co Stoudemire, you know, he called me.
He's the first one to contact me from Pacific and he's the head coach.
So that always stood out to me like that, like head coach, because like, that's not like the case to our okay.
And as soon as like so we talked probably that day for like, 30 minutes he offered me and then we kept on talking.
We kept in touch to the point where we're talking like every like, two days type of thing, and we're talking a lot and even like, wasn't even like nothing serious is we just talk about the NBA talk about, like movies, rappers, stuff like that.
But you really like, built that relationship with me.
And then I was kind of I would like him what he thought for me because he really, really wanted me.
And his vision for me was like what I wanted And the team you know, they're placed outfits, my play style, the way that they are always downhill.
Israeli defense and I was ableto meet everybody on the zoom like all the all the stuff Academic advisor and we talked to my parents and my parents were pretty comfortable and so did I.
so I just felt like it was, like, the best option.
Not that I had right now, but just overall, if I did it, these other offerings, like it's still like, what options gonna be better than this with it.
And what are you looking forward to most about playing? Not Pacific University again.
But at the University of Pacific? Um, yeah, that's a great question.
I look forward to get better learn from Coach Stoudemire because he later been there and done all of it.
So just learning, learning from him, Um, Also my working to get my degree.
And I can't I can't honestly way to do that.
And then, yeah, I just want to just planning and getting out there.
There's really gonna be a statement that year.
This year is a statement from our senior, but that year is gonna be a statement here for sure.
Sure. I'll be right.
Yeah, I'll definitely You know, I became out for you and I'm not gonna lie to you.
I don't do too much research on the University of Pacific.
You see, I've been put there.
It's name even wrong.
But how close are you from the from the university.
Um, right now I'm, like, six hours.
I wasn't sure if you were, like, close to it.
And I honestly, like I don't even know California geography to be real with you.
Yeah, I have no clue.
Like where anything is.
It's kind of a specific kind of the baby like Northern California, But more about, like, Oakland second, that always Oakland.
And that's north.
Oakland, Uh, San Francisco, That's like, Okay.
San Francisco, north to year.
Wait, What? There's the Oh, my God, man.
I'm learning so much on the say I wonder about young boy.
I learned about California like, this is this is definitely helped me out a lot.
But anyways, you know, you said I guess, you know, looking forward, getting better on stuff.
But what? I mean, maybe in terms of just normal college aspect, like, yeah, living away from home or a lot of food.
Like I feel like that.
No, I just, you know, some very good a private university.
Very good education.
And I can't wait to start my possibly after my undergrad go to law school.
However, that might, however, that might work out just depends on basketball and everything else, but I just can't wait to start coming B a probably be publicized major, so I can't wait to get started on that.
And since you brought up, you know, a political science major? What? What exactly is I wanna learn again.
What exactly is political science? Eso political science.
Kind of like under, like, social justice, so kind of blending, like politics, economics and just like especially, like, right now, all this stuff going on, Just learning about all of that and being able t like, get that.
And then from that Goto law school or wherever I wanna go after that and being a politician, is that something you may consider or not Really? Yeah, Yeah, I could consider being a politician.
I mean, I wanna be like a but I don't know, maybe like an attorney, if I'm not really sure.
But product an attorney or being attorney, an attorney, then turning into like a social like civil rights advocate, social advocate, type of person that just help other people out and be a voice and sticking to, you know, all out of that civil rights stuff.
I do know that you are very involved in it.
I've been looking at a few years or your answer story stuff, and, uh, and all that out your highlights.
So why do you think it's so important for you just as a basketball player or even as a person in general just to be involved in a all the social justice going on? You know, not just today, but even just 10 years from now.
Um, yeah, I've always been, like, even before, Like ninth grade, eighth grade when I really started getting into it before all this stuff happened.
So, like, you guys, anyone like, I've been like, I've been, like, outspoken stuff, and I really remember came to a point where, like, coaches and stuff, we're talking like Jamie, like you're going to speak about this stuff you might have like a You might not.
Some colleges might not want to recruit you.
Some teams might not want you, you know, and like, kind of same things.
Like, you know what? Athletes, If you speak up, you know, you could lose some, but I always felt like there was a bigger purpose in my life and especially like I don't have the biggest platform, but I definitely have a platform to use, especially locally.
A lot of people, kids, a lot of people, whatever.
So just using my platform, Thio speak.
I'm gonna need to be spoken about.
And me? You said, you know, some, uh, people were telling you, like you might wanna maybe keep a little bit quiet.
You know, some college coach might not offer you now because of this and all that stuff.
We have a nervous that that might have gotten in the way.
You just kinda know, like I mean, if they're not gonna recruit me, I know I'm not do anything.
Um, they all know that are sorry.
I know that I'm not doing anything wrong, you know, it's kinda kind of all on them.
So, yeah, I kind of thought like that went through my mind, and I was like, like, honestly, if a coach doesn't like because I'm saying in too bad of my post, like, mostly everything I say is like fax based.
So I'm like, for coaches, like gonna, like, not want me say, because I'm speaking on something that's like true or trying to help, Like, bring awareness toe like racism and stuff.
It's a coach really isn't gonna want you because I posted something about it.
Then I know that wouldn't have been a fit for me anyways, So that's kind of how I looked at it.
That sounds, uh, sounds unbelievable.
And I'm just going back into basketball.
So, uh, let's just say I honestly, I don't know if its national will happen, but just depending on his career.
But if you end up playing, you know, your former team mate, Dominic Harris, He's at Gonzaga, and, uh, you're at the University of Pacific.
So if you guys, you know, go ahead, go ahead. You're in the same conference.
How would that actually go down, man, Don't That was like my brother.
Uh, but yeah, I don't He might go league.
Whatever helps his journey is I hope you go to Ligue.
But if we get to play each other, I'm down knows I'm going at man.
And you could do the same thing, so I could be that could be really fun to be looking for that **** and do you maybe have at all on any trash talk between him, Like, you know, I got I mean, like, you know, you know, it's all love.
Like I got one time.
And, like, probably few months ago, I have, like, a Virginia Tech guy used trash talking.
This is like Wake Forest, friend, you know, got a little bit of ah, everything going on.
I know you got any Got any trash talk for? Ah, for you know, Dominic, if you guys end up playing each other, but sure, going crazy trash talk.
You know, right now that we're talking about that because he's focused on getting a week, so I can't do I can't talk right now.
We focus on going into the league or pressure or whatever, but, um, then for sure, because even in practice, McDonald we go crazy at each other, and you know, it's all love.
But if you're sure gonna be a lot of trash talk for sure.
And, uh, you know, my final question for you is what your goals are in life, Mayor.
Oh, e, think of a deal a lot, guys.
You know, my goals would be, um for sure become professional basketball player, Um, in N B A or 90 A.
Really? Doesn't matter.
Um, then e get my digger.
That's a big, huge goal for me.
Then, like me become like someone that can help others, whether that be my being an attorney, attorney, or being activists, or help her in the community, just helping other people.
That's really a big thing for me.
Help as much people that can.
And just real quickly, you're saying, you know, I'm gonna try to be a professional basketball player, But then I know you said it's also important to get my degree.
Uh, you know what? Maybe an attorney just playing with that.
So how do you think you're gonna be able to handle maybe the challenge of, you know, balancing two different dreams? Uh, at the same time? Yeah, definitely been a tough one for me.
Um, having like till very large passions as like my basketball passion being just a supporting my civil rights passion.
And I've been pretty good bye.
No, it's gonna get worse, but I sure can handle it, because only I think there's only two things some people are, you know, doing more things.
But I'm just gonna focus on basketball that that taking where it can take me.
And then, you know, the civil rights thing.
I'll be doing that during that, but that would always come after.
Okay, I think it's more just kind of be like for basketball, right? You know, basketball may have stopped at this point.
Now I could kind of go back like Like how? Some players, you know, what's in the N b A.
All of a sudden, they finished a degree, like and their 10th year in the league or something like that, Like that would be like your plan, maybe.
Yeah, Like like I'm in the game keeping a six degree like, like maybe a couple years and in the league.
But for sure, I'm gonna try to get my degree fastest possible, but it happens somewhere like whoa, like you gotta get stock right now.
That's your best go right now.
And I'll see, I'll do that.
But I definitely wanna like, get my degree pretty quick.
And on the other side is like just doing everything I can, even using my platform If I wherever I go, wherever God takes me Yeah, it sounds awesome.
And before you on the show, is there anything you want to plug or anybody want? Shout out, um, shout out to my parents and shout out to Jesus.
I mean, it sounds good.
