peace guys is your boy.
You would Andy star, host of the Dinos podcast.
And I gotta change this up here.
Always do that to myself, man.
But anyway, we're going live in a in a in a few minutes, man, we're gonna be talking about the Chris Paul rumors and stuff.
So thank you for being up with me at 10 o'clock, man is how we do it.
Now, on this, um, it's so many tip, man.
So, uh, that song, let's just get it started.
So the major rumors right now it has to do with, um, Chris, Paul, Chris, Paul has been on.
Everybody's on the tip of everybody's tongue for, like, the last few months now.
So my question I've talked about it before.
My question for fans out there that that they're still talking about it because Twitter is going crazy.
They're talking about various various different things, but Chris Paul is at the tip.
My thing is like, when do we break the chain of the past? You know what I'm saying? Because it's not like Chris Paul is making, like, 20 something million a year because you know.
We made a big deal about Julius Randle that he makes what? 19 year.
Uh, you know, it's gonna gradually go up to like, into, like, the beginning of the twenties, but he's not making a ****load of money, But people make such a big deal about the amount of money that he's making and all the money that we gave Thio, you know, Bobby porters and all these other guys that that that we had to pay because we had the cap space.
You can't just not use the Cap Street.
You have to use 90% of it.
Anyway, everyone was crying about all the money that we gave that Tim Hardaway Jr.
But, I mean, we look at all the money that that Chris Paul makes.
Chris Paul makes, uh, Mawr than twice.
Um, then Julius Randle, you know.
So this is the type of guy that they were gonna get.
We can't just pick him up, you know? I'm saying we can't just grab them off the street.
Okay, now we got Chris.
Paul, We have to give up something now.
What is? Okay? So you're gonna take now? I know they just want to get rid of the his salary because any team in their right mind will be trying to get rid of Chris Paul salary.
So the only team really that can take all that salary and you know, is the Knicks.
Now, who are we going to give up now? In order to get this salary cap, as you should know, is that we have to renounce all of these guys that that the resigned to these two year contracts.
We saw them for one and a possible contract, you know.
So the second year is not guaranteed on all the guys that we signed last year except Julius Randle.
So, I mean, we're talking about Bobby porters.
You know, Wayne Ellington, All these different guys that we signed, um, you know, even, um even Harkless that we got in the trade.
You know, Harkless, um, he's done after.
After this, this season is officially over.
You know what I'm saying? So all these different guys here, So people are talking about trading some of those guys for Chris Paul, it doesn't really matter if we trade them a player or just renounced them, and then just take on the salary.
Uh, okay, so he's gonna want something, you know? So you're gonna talk about Chris? Um me, Kevin Knox.
Um, you know, whoever else, uh, Frank Latina Frank cleaners on the I D.
J, you know, are these worthy trading pieces to get Chris Paul, Um, if I'm okay, see, I would laugh it in the next face, even though I'm trying to get rid of her salary is not like Chris Paul is hurting the team.
Chris Paul has been leading them to the playoffs, you know, I'm saying so.
They're prepared to go into next season with Chris Paul as a starting point guard so that there's no sweat off their back, either.
So you know whether or not you believe the Knicks have the leverage because we're the ones that that I have to make the trade and they have to take it or leave it.
But okay, so you could just leave it because, you know, they're not losing anything by having Chris Paul, you know, I'm saying so.
We have no leverage in that, and that's it in that scenario.
So the thing is, what do we get to get Chris Paul, Um, only thing that we have of value really is the, um, job picks.
Because, like I said, Bobby Portis and whatever we could, we could renounce him.
And then, um, some kind of way.
Okay, See? Could work it out where they could sign up Bobby Portis after we renounce him.
So, uh, making a trade for him is not really doing nothing for them, you know? And, you know, you can also find talent of Bobby Portis caliber on the free agent market anyway, you know? So it's it's just ah, endless circle of nonsense.
So the elephant in the room now with the whole scenario is, um, whether or not we're gonna give up our assets.
Now we have extra assets with Dallas.
We have the drive pics and stuff like that.
But do are we given away draft picks for Chris Paul, This is the, um, the same.
You know, skeletons in the closet, the sins of the past.
We've We've given up plenty of assets in the past to get old people.
You know, I'm like 11 person is in my mind.
I was like, Jalen Rose, you know, we had Jalen Rose on the on the roster.
Did you know we had, um, Tracy Murray, Tracy McGrady.
Excuse me? On the on the roster? Uh, you know, you could just go down the line.
It's so many different, um, players that we had so many bad decisions that we made throughout the years that it doesn't make any sense.
Is another another person Make dice.
We try to make dice for for Camby in the first round draft pick.
Alright, this this This is basically the same type of situation like but at the same time, McD ice was still young, but he was just coming off a knee surgery.
Super knee surgery.
He even played a year before, so he blew his knee out.
And then we end up trading Camby, who is still a good player, and we ended up on trading a pick that ended up being 80.
Ah, basket player.
That that ended up playing ah, lot of years in the n b A.
And he actually had a productive, um, career as well.
You know what I'm saying? So you know, do are we gonna do the same thing? Are we gonna trade? Uh, some assets or whatever to get Chris, Chris, Paul Onley for Chris.
Paul, come here and possibly get hurt.
You know, like, if you're gonna have a guy like that.
Okay, He's supposed Thio nurtured in the youth, but we have coaches for that.
We just hired a whole bunch of developmental coaches.
We have, uh, front office that this, um specialized and roster building and developmental things.
You know what I'm saying? So, um, the whole Knicks organization is built thio thio develop.
So what the hell do we need Chris Paul for? You know, I'm saying what what we need Chris Paul for.
That's what everybody keeps talking about.
It is this whole savior complex.
The Savior Complex also always starts with the media because the media is the one that starts to these rumors and get all the Knicks fans stir it up.
Now, little we're gonna get Chris.
Paul is gonna get Chris Paul, what you think about getting Chris? Paul, Yo, I'm telling you right now, we do not need Chris.
Paul, You know we have Kenny pain working with our big man.
We have my man Bryant from Utah working with the guards and stuff like that.
Uh, you know, uh, Woodson is there.
Woodson has I has experienced Tom Thibodeau, for Christ sake.
You know, we have all these different coaches.
Um, you know, of course I'm missing some of them.
They have that that Asian dude that I have to learn his name, but he's also awesome.
I've seen them and plenty of times out there, um, social media and even on television, working with guys and stuff like that.
So, I mean, we have a good staff.
We have a good developmental staff.
So what do we need Chris Paul for? You know, saying you have Chris Paul because he's going to teach the young guys.
Uh, Chris Paul is still gonna get minutes.
He's still averaging 17 you know, five and six.
You know, he's not getting the guardian numbers he was getting before, but he's still getting good numbers and he's not gonna come here.
Well, he has no choice.
That's that's one thing to He has no choice to on whether or not he can come here or not.
But if he if he comes here, he's not gonna he's not gonna be content was sitting on the bench you still have something in the tank? You know, I'm saying, once you once you stop using it, you lose it.
So I'm quite sure he's gonna wanna play, especially if he's healthy, you know, Especially if he's bussing these young guys.
Asset in practice.
He's not gonna be taking a back seat to them and letting them play.
And he's gonna play little spot minutes or whatever that What? What kind of way is that? Teoh and ah, person's career, Especially when you're still playing at the top of your game.
You know, it's it's just nonsense.
To me, it's just something that that this is a doesn't make sense and I'm in any way that you look at it, you know? Now here is another Another person I'm gonna throw out there, Fred VanVleet its on FB V.
I always say fleet, you know what I'm saying? But it's unproven fleet, Right? Uh, you know, uh, everybody nobody wants him.
Nobody wants him in.
And, um, when when you're talking on Twitter or whatever nobody wants for evidently, you know, they're they're looking at him or they're saying that he's slow.
He can't get to the basket.
Is any other, but he could shoot the three, right? So I mean, everyone that I'm gonna talk to talk about in this podcast is gonna gonna be, um, people that could shoot the three.
So that's the only thing that anyone seems to care about.
Fred Van Fleet is one of the better three point shooters in the whole freaking, um, MBA at his position.
You know what I mean? He shoots a lot of them.
Number one, you know, they want to say, Oh, it was a system that he played in Toronto.
You played with, um, with this person to play with that person.
Yeah, he was on a good team.
That's why he won the championship.
Yeah, he was on a championship caliber team.
That's when he won the championship.
Is that because he didn't play well because of the system? He played well because he is a good player, and all the rest of the players around him are good, too.
That's why they won, you know, even when they when they when they lost quite Leonard in the off season, uh, they still made the playoffs and they still threatened to to get to the finals again.
They still were a good team.
They were a team.
They were injured because they had other players that could step in.
But those guys didn't get healthy till till basically the playoffs started.
So let's say, if those guys would have gotten healthy, maybe they would have building up momentum, toe, even go even further, even.
Maybe even, um, get to the finals instead of instead of Miami.
They had the potential to do that, you know? And you can't just just dismiss, uh, somebody like Fred Vanvleet because as a starter, he's, too, is averaging 17 5 and six.
Something like that, you know, and his three point percentage.
And, um and and shooting percentage numbers rival Chris Paul's as well.
So we're looking at a dude this younger that you're gonna he's gonna be a part of.
The plan is going forward and and, um, and a guy just like 30 like like close to closer to 40 than he used to 30 you know? And we will rather have him.
You know why? Because, oh, he's going to teach the kids.
I mean, Chris Paul's never won a championship, you know, I'm saying Chris Paul has never won a championship forever, and Fleet has, you know.
And Chris Paul is playing on plenty of teams with plenty of talent, and he was never able to get them over the hump.
He had great coaching Doc Rivers and stuff like that to when he was with the Clippers.
You know, he's had plenty of situations where he had talent around him.
Look in Houston and they weren't able to take it to the to the on to the next level.
You know, saying So who is that a reflection on? Do you want a guy that's never one? Or do you want a guy that that's one you know who could teach you more? Someone that's actually won a championship or just someone that's just like the master of the regular season? You know, that's That's something for a foot on five.
Ali for you fans to, um, to to figure out, because, I mean, you know, it's kind of annoying to constantly keep talking about it, right? But Fred Van Fleet, he's not gonna command 40 something male were out there talking about 18 you know, 18 1920 mil, which is probably low ball name.
The guys probably get like closer to 25 mil, you know? So you want to say between 18 and 25 miles somewhere in between a he's gonna he's gonna get it is gonna be fair.
Look, what? What? Randall's making Randall's making.
Like I said 1920 mil.
You know that that's his range to Fred Vanvleet is around that That that that that that number, you know.
So the Knicks have, like, 40 something else.
So we can afford that.
You know, it's not like it's gonna break the bank of if we, um, let's say if we want to sign him to, like, maybe like a two in one contract, just a match on Julius Randle's on contract, then that that's That's good.
We got a starting caliber point guard, Thio work with them with the guys that that we can't really have.
Once again, we're getting rid of Alfred. Peyton.
We already got rid of, you know, one of the point guards with the trade foot for, um for Jared Harper.
So Jared Harper is there also, he and he's gonna end up being, uh, either in the D League or our third string.
Then we still got D S J in the mix.
You know, Gs J might end up being traded and then Frank Friendly Latina.
I don't even count him as a point guard.
At this point, he's gonna have to be a utility guy because he has yet to thio, uh, take himself to the next level.
And maybe, um, he it might even make sense to put frightening Latina at the two guard next to Fred VanVleet.
That gives you another option as well.
So I'm and then you move in RJ 22 to the three.
So these are These are a lot of different things Thio to think about here, But I mean, like like, um, Fred van, we won't won't break the bank, you know? And then we'll still have 20 something million dollars to to play with toe, add even another player, you know, saying so you go from okay, we're developing the youth because that's what we're still gonna be doing without even trading any any assets.
That's that's number one.
We don't need Chris, Paul.
We don't need to trade our assets against Chris Paul.
We couldn't get forever.
And fleet, you know what I'm saying.
So if you want to do that without trading the assets, so then we'll be able to develop our youth the way we need to and still, um, uh, toy with being in the playoffs with a starting caliber, uh, starting caliber point guard that can get you 17 6 and five or six or whatever you think.
And he's getting, like, two steals a game.
So it's not like it's not playing defense, So I mean, yeah, we have an anchor at the power for whatever you want to say about Julius Randle.
He's still on one of the better power forwards in the NBA, you know, when he's used properly, Uh, if he was assigned for a VanVleet, we'll have a starting caliber point guard.
Uh, you put frightening located.
Next time, hopefully, frightening Located gets his **** together, having him at the two guard spot that's gonna on the gate.
Whatever Defensive on promise you think you might have from Fred Van Fleet, even though he averages, um, two steals a game.
So he's doing some kind of defense.
So I mean, you're set in the in the in there, and then you got argue at the three, and I'm Mitchell Robertson at the at the five.
So you actually have a decent starting five right there and then and And you still have $20 million to spend? You know what I'm saying? So what's the problem? I don't understand what the problem is with that whole argument.
I still have a lot of a lot of different guys to go here.
But that's something that has to do with Chris Paul, another guy that there's been, um, talked about out there is Victor Olive Depot.
All right, I'm gonna keep it short with this man, Victor Oladipo.
I believe he's like, 27 years old.
Uh, you know, he just came off of, like, a horrific injury.
Was his Achilles or his knee or whatever.
I don't I don't even know what the injury was.
All I know is that he didn't play last year, you know, he was He didn't play well enough.
Thio Thio elevate himself back up to the level that he was before the injury.
At least not yet.
He hasn't had a chance to that.
We've seen that before. I just mentioned I just mentioned mcd ice.
We just had mcd ice, you know? So I mean, it's just a sense of the past, you know? I got like that. Okay, Cool.
Hey, did have a great season one year with, um with Indiana where he just broke out and, you know, And if he was, if he was to get that type of player on the Knicks, that would be great as well.
And, you know, quite is kept if he was a sign like a forever and Fleet.
We still have all our assets to make that trade to get Victor Oladipo, you know, saying so.
Barrett Mitchell Robinson. Very friendly.
And then you make the trade to get Victor Oladipo.
Is that a playoff team or what? You know, I'm saying, but these these are plucked.
There are moves that everyone's like crying about all Don't do that. I would know.
You're like, what do you guys want? You just want to continue to do what we used to do back in the days like the last 15 years.
You Everyone is the laughing stock, right? Oh, the Knicks, this or any other haven't won in this or any other to keep those stupid moves. Whatever.
2020 and everybody still wants to do stupid moves.
So anyway, he's just going without we're gonna say about Victor.
Oladipo was 27 years old.
Okay, Uh, what are we gonna do it? Like, he's gonna be a free agent next year.
We're gonna do resign him to, like, a x amount of contract.
So we're gonna have a guy up into it up into his thirties, you know? And he just had a horrific injury.
Enough of Victor Oladipo.
And plus, we got to give up assets to get him. Hagos.
A guy that's on the tip of everybody's tongue to Ah, buddy healed.
Everyone keeps talking about buddy here.
Like Like nobody else knows about buddy.
Healed like like he's supposed to be some kind of like, um, like like a diamond in the rough that nobody heard of.
Yo, you know, the Knicks gotta get buddy healed because that boy shoot.
You know, do this.
I mean, anybody could see anybody played like it's not a secret.
Is the internet.
Everybody has the Internet everybody who follows everybody that loves basketball follows the n b A.
And it's not like no big secret of what, um, what buddy Hell can do.
But the other, the other sign of of the whole story is of the problems that somebody Hill does have his whole career off the court.
If you're having problems in Sacramento, whatever the things that you're you're doing, you're gonna have problems in New York City.
What everything that's happening here.
You know, I'm saying so.
Is the guy like driven to play basketball? Or is the guy just driven to just just get a **** off? That's something that I don't wanna know it because we're gonna have to get assets. Thio.
Get him Now Check this.
They have a guy by, um, Madigan.
I came on pronounced the guy's name, but he's a young guy that this over there.
He's not really young.
He's basically the same age about 27 as well, But he's still in his rookie scale contract and you know he's got He's actually restricted free agent, and, um, he jumped ahead of Buddy healed into the starting lineup because of everything that has been going on.
My body healed. He's a chucker number one.
So, um, you know, Luke Walton put him off the bench to try to offset some of that stuff.
And, of course, he fought him over it.
You know, it was a lot of drama with him being being back up, you know, into the together. Do.
But the other kid is good too, you know, I'm saying so.
Sacramento already has it that they're probably going to sign, uh, bargain.
Whatever his name bargain, whatever his name is, they probably gonna end up signing him.
And then now Buddy Hill is definitely gonna be on the trading block.
So I would rather another team give up their assets to get up a got a Buddy Hill, because, I mean, but even though buddy, he'll go shoot the three, his field goal percentage is still, like 43% you know? So if the guy is shooting 40% from three and shooting 43% from the field, that to me, doesn't really sound like a good player.
Sounds like a trucker.
You know, a lot of these guys can shoot the three.
Okay, Shooting three is such a great asset in this this MBA that people lose their mind.
And if you get about everything else that has to do with basketball.
So anyway, Buddy Hillis, 6 ft four, he's also a short shooting are same as Oladipo.
Um, not not that I mentioned 64 they both 64 So if you if you want to talk about about players at that are that are at that that height, Um, why give up so many assets to get them now? We were just talking about three point shooting.
Everybody just wants three point shooting.
How about some, um, some what he called experience.
I'm gonna throw a name out there just just just for ****s and giggles.
Uh, Jordan Clarkson.
Ah, lot of people gonna gonna laugh about that.
But Jordan Clarkson has been putting up numbers even coming off the bench when he was with Cleveland.
And then when he when he when he went to his other? Because he got traded so many times, You know, im e I mean, I could I could just pull it up now, but I'm not going to join the Clarks has been everywhere the Lakers he's played with, you know, everybody he's played with, everybody has a bunch of experience and the dude is still not even 30 yet.
He's still around the same age, 27 years old around there.
So why why would we, um, give up all these assets to get a player that this this, that if Jordan Clarkson was to get the minutes, he would average, like, 20 something points a game as well? Because he's always been getting 20 something minutes, whatever, Whatever, Whatever.
For whatever reason, I don't I don't really don't know what the reason is that All I know is that joining Clarkson constantly Busses the Knicks ass.
And every time I see him play anywhere else, he's playing well.
So I mean, I don't know understand why he's not getting his 30 something minutes again.
Why he isn't starting or why isn't he a part of ah winning situation? But you know we can We can just sign a guy like Jordan Clarkson, not for 20 Mill.
You know, somebody like Jordan Clarkson probably end up getting 10 mil, you know, maybe 15 mil.
You know, that's the most that Jordan Clarkson is gonna get.
You know, even though he's been productive scoring wise in his NBA career, Um, I would rather pay him 10 million to 15 million.
Then, um, have to worry about a dude like Buddy Hill.
That's that's, um, entering the contract that he signed that that these making like, like 20 to 25.
Whether you like 24 mil.
Um, 1st, 1st year? I mean, you know, what are we doing here? You know, we're gonna give up our assets and ruin our cap space for the next four years for dude is gonna be 31 at the end of his contract, you know? And he has an attitude, and we don't know how he's gonna work when it went on.
When? When? In in, like, a winning situation? Because he hasn't won.
You know, I'm saying so.
I would rather spend 10 15 million.
Jordan Clarkson, I mean to me, is this elementary here is another guy that i'll throw out there? Uh, Malik Beasley.
Ok, Milic, please.
Beasley is has been under the radar for the for the last few years.
He was on Denver.
He was like a scoring guy off the bench endeavor.
But Denver has always had a team that has so many different players on their team that could score.
They could do all kind of things right.
But Michael Beasley is the same 64 That Victor Oladipo is same, 6 40.
Buddy Hill is, and he shoots the three just well, is both of those guys, if not better than, um than Victor Oladipo.
Now you know he's still 64 but he also was a little bit light.
The last time I checked, Uh, you know, like I said, I could put it up on the screen for the guys that are watching live.
But, you know, I'm not gonna do that, you know, it's just it's something that that that you can research on your own when you get a chance.
Just look up Malik Beasley.
What has he been doing his whole career? Like I said, he's been coming off bench, but But he did get traded to Minnesota.
What did he do when he got to Minnesota? He averaged 20 points a game when he was in Minnesota.
I I got a chance to watch a few a few of those games.
You know, just because you know the lead pass was they were giving it for free for a little while.
And I have my own little resource is as well that I was able to watch a lot of these little sub these little like games just just to see who's out there.
And I was curious to see what was going on with really easily.
Is he is he for real? And yes, he is frill the guys shooting threes at the same Clippers, buddy. Hell, everything.
The only thing that I could say is when he was with Minnesota's, that is, um, his assists were were kind of down.
He's still only averaging about two assists, you know, but still five rebounds.
He's up there in the five rebound range, and he's like averaging.
Like I said, Ah, little over two assists per game Usually, but But, you know, when he was in Minnesota, who's on the average and above one, maybe like 1.
8 assists again, so that's kind of alarming to me.
But I mean, the guy could jump just as high as any any of these other guys, you know? And it could shoot just as good as any of these other guys to its.
And on the flip side, this guy is gonna only gonna gonna make $10 million a year.
Possibly 15 because of what he did in Minnesota.
20 points a game.
So, I mean, somebody's gonna give him give him something, and Nick's got extra money.
So, um, 10 to 15 is not something that's gonna be gonna gonna break the bank because we still have 30 to $25 million left after that.
So I mean, to me, to me, it's a no brainer if you're gonna get ah player of that caliber.
Does this gonna I'm just gonna you know that that that you need Really? Ah, scorer.
You need a scorer.
There's gonna be able shoot the three instead of giving up, um, assets to get somebody healed.
And Victor Oladipo, um, guys that they have attitude problems and, um, guys that are just coming off injuries and stuff like that.
And these guys already think that their stars give it to Miller.
Easy. Somebody that's hungry.
You know what I'm saying, Like I said, 1 85 Buddy Hills like to 20.
Uh, you know, Victor Oladipo is about to 20 is.
Well, you know what I'm saying.
You're giving up a lot of weight.
Like what? Like **** near £40.
You're giving up with this Do.
But, I mean, if you watch the clips of this guy, it doesn't seem to bother him.
You know, he's still putting up his numbers against decent competition when he was in Minnesota.
So anyway, that that's just just just ah, photo because I don't hear nobody talking about Billy Beasley.
If I'm the first one that you've heard it, let me know in the chats, whatever.
So you know. There you go, man.
So those are those a couple of guys, whatever.
So, you know, I mean, like I mentioned in these guys said the only person that you ever did you have been hearing, um, connected to the Knicks is a guy that we've already had, and they've been trying.
We've been he's been in the rumor mill again for the Knicks for, like, the last few years, anywhere, ever since we got rid of him, which is I'm just on holiday all because he shoots the three.
Oh, I'm sorry, and he plays defense as well.
I mean, we can't just have, like, a team full of full of on guys that just shoot the three and play defense.
You know, there's there's, like a whole game out there is not only only about hitting the open three, the corner 30 you gotta hit the corner. Three.
You know, it's the most important short bath, like whatever man there's there's a whole 90 something feet of basketball, you know that this whole bunch of different positions that you still gotta you still gotta be able to play the game of basketball.
The reason why that is not on the Knicks and the reason why that that that he's still fooling around.
He was with the Bulls and he was with the other.
Some other teams, whatever.
He's because he's just a three and the guy he's a dime a dozen player.
You know what I'm saying? Like like like Jordan Clarkson.
I just mentioned Jordan, Jordan Clarkson.
He's better than Malik.
Um, excuse me than just in the holiday.
You know Malik Beasley.
Milic bees is better than just a holiday.
But that's the only person that we were hearing.
All these rumors is, um, freaking Justin.
Holly. We just had him. Six.
He's 6 ft, you know, But he doesn't play.
Um, I'm mean, he's 6 ft six.
He doesn't play up to his height.
You know, he looks long, whatever, but he doesn't play long pit on pause.
You know what I'm saying? So, I mean, you know that height, this doesn't really mean anything.
And, like, I can't even remember the last time I seen him lock up anybody that I could remember, you know? So I mean, it's just, you know, just just bunch of different things and just throw out there, man.
So what are we doing here, man? This is this is, um this is the next.
This is the next We've been through it all.
You know, we've seen so many different things, um, in in our in our lifetime, and I've seen so many things in my lifetime.
Like, um, like fans of the show, I already know I go Bacchus faras Bernard King when I was a little kid.
And I remember that I remember basically everything after that because after they traded Bernard King, I just I cry.
I remember I cried because I was a little guy.
So I cry when when they trade them, What does that mean? Trade, you know, So just being involved with that, then right after that, we, um they traded, um, Rod Strickland.
Something like, Wait a second.
I'm a little bit older now.
I can read and stuff on my own.
I can get the paper.
I could watch the news and stuff like that.
I can I'm starting to understand.
So from that point on, I was hooked on on the science of this whole MBA stuff, the free agency and all this other stuff.
I was hooked on it, you know? So So I've since that since that error, that little piece of time when I was a kid, I've that's that's just that's just my error right there, you know? So, you know, I have a lot of experience that we've been through so much, man.
Somebody different trades, somebody bad trades, you know, somebody bad signings and stuff like that.
I've seen it also, Everything happening now is nothing new, and it's not something Thio get upset about because what it's truthfully right now, this is the best time to be a Knicks fan.
You know, like there's so much argument going on, especially on Twitter, you know, and and, you know, just in general Knicks fans in generally they see with the Knicks, had they start just wrecking you about, you know, nonsense, whatever.
There's so much going on that has been going on in Knicks history.
You know that that, you know, right now this is like the best time ever right now, because we have.
We have young guys that a good Mitchell Robinson, R J.
Barrett, a couple other guys and we got draft picks coming and whatever.
And then next year's draft got X traffics.
So we got, like, all this stuff coming in and on top of that, we still got cap space.
And where we're signing guys up into this point, that there hasn't broke the on the bank where we can't maneuver guys, you know, I'm saying so, uh, let's let's let's wake up a little bit.
Everyone is arguing about Chris Paul.
Everyone is arguing about Victor Oladipo, buddy.
He'll notice other stuff.
Get off it, okay? We're not trading like at least at least I wanna think that we're not gonna trade any draft picks for the funding of these ****ing guys.
You know, I'm saying we're not gonna waste cap space on this on these ****ing guys.
You know what I'm saying? We're gonna keep flexibility with within the cap, and we're gonna keep flexibility with without droppings.
And we're because we already built in environment.
Um, that's going to nourish young people.
We have, like, on the pro level.
Now I'm talking about the MBA.
We got all these, um um developmental coaches on the front office.
We just got all these on these young guys that are known for for, for developing rosters on building, um, rosters.
You know, I'm saying this.
This is what we have in the coaching staff in the front office.
Don't forget about the G league.
We have one of the better G league systems the last three years that the whole MBA, it hasn't produced a championship over there.
But who gives a **** about Aggie? League championship is all about developing players.
Mike Miller did a fantastic job over there and the coach.
That was before him did.
It did a decent job as well.
We've always had Ah, strong on D league team.
We always manage to get different guys we had, you know, I could just go down the line.
We had a bunch of different guys that that we've that we've gotten over the years that has been successful and going on to the MBA and extended their careers or whatever.
You know, I'm saying so I don't I don't think that's gonna change.
You know, Speaking of the jelly we got e g.
Brexit says he's over there, and he was averaging 20 something the game.
And I expect him off this year to come up with all the guys that we're gonna lose.
Um, you know, to get this cap space, I expect him thio to do well, and that's a product of our development.
You have to give us credit with something, you know? I'm saying so.
Anyway, uh, this has been eroded.
