Well, guys, it was a pretty decent weekend of football.
Overall, I would say I think Week four maybe, I don't know.
I don't want to say slightly less exciting than the previous weeks, but I think maybe slightly less, um, upsets or shocking things.
Just a regular weekend of football eso again.
I've got a few people written down as faras add drop.
And, uh, I would like Thio get you guys thoughts on those assed faras fantasy football in general.
I guess, for four weeks in how are you guys doing across your leagues? I luckily, I'm two and two and one leader.
Otherwise, I'm either four no or three and one across the board.
So things are going pretty well for me.
Yeah, I'm with you on that.
A couple of weeks.
I got screwed on, you know, a steak on going down, Chris McCaffrey going down, so kind of clawing back right now in those leagues.
But otherwise, you know, some leagues. I'm good.
Somebody in the middle of pack, just kind of in between.
Just another fantasy season for me, I guess.
Yeah, I'm actually three and one.
I'm pretty sure every league except for my big money league, which is the like, I care most about which I'm one in three inch so little bittersweet there.
But Luke, we actually played each other this week in the Vampire League, and I was looking at your team and I was like, There's no way your own three because your team was way too good to be owned three.
And, uh, you beat me because Todd Gurley had a pretty good at night for you last night, right? I was pretty shocking to that.
I beat you because I was with a quarterback, too.
Yeah, that's that's true.
And for the year old quarterback, Yeah, he's been he's been on the quarterback.
And for those of you who don't know, we have a flurry sports fantasy league going on, but it's got a little twist to it.
It's called a vampire league, which just being simply Zack is the vampire.
And he was not allowed Thio draft anybody that was on a team during the draft.
So everybody, the rest of us got to draft their own team.
And but the the kink in this is that you're not allowed to pick up or drop players at all during the season.
Unless somebody's on IR.
I believe you can pick up to fill an empty roster spot, but basically, whoever you draft on draft night is your team for the entire season.
And then Zach gets to go through week by week and make a team with free agents try and beat whoever he's up against and then if he beats them, he gets to take their best player.
So far, I believe Zach is O and four.
So he hasn't stolen a player from anybody.
But he got close.
He got close for me.
Um, my scores in the Vampire League have been insanely high.
I had 1 48 week to I had 1 72 and Week four, I had 1 57.
But Week three, when I played Zach, I only scored 87 points.
Luckily, he scored 83 so he caught me on my down week, but it still wasn't quite enough.
But it's a pretty fun league.
I mean, for the rest of us.
It's just regular fantasy football ***, the one that has to put in all the work.
And it isn't going very well for him.
Yeah, it's an interesting week, to say the least.
Yeah, it's almost nice that I want to make any waiver moves.
I just picked the best guys in my line up every week, and that's it.
Yeah, I think I've maybe switched out my flex one time.
I think I sat down John Brown last week, but other than that I don't think I've touched it one single time.
No defense, no kickers to worry about.
So, um, kind of just a fun little spin on leagues there, But let's jump right into it.
Let's start with the hot topic.
Um, just gonna go through some of my adds and drops.
I'm not quite sure if Zack, you know, if you guys do anything else or what the format is that Zack usually goes through, but I've got a couple names.
I think that people should consider adding a couple more.
They should consider dropping.
But right now I want to start off with Robert Tanyon.
Of course, if anybody watched Monday Night Football, he was the talk of the night.
The backup Packers tight end goes out, catches three touchdown passes, has over 30 points on the night.
Um, yeah, obviously a career night for Robert Tanyon.
They showed on ESPN that he was friends with his friends with George Kittle.
They emulate each other in a lot of ways, all the way down to the hair and everything else, and you can kind of see it in the way that he plays my question that I posed to you, though, is, you know, what do we do with Robert Tanyon from here? Because the peckers air heading into a week four by undefeated four.
No, he's had three pretty good weeks in a row.
I think you had a 10 point week, a 16 point week, and then, obviously last night had over 30 points.
But my take on Robert Tanya is kind of kind of like I said about Jordan.
Read a couple weeks back where if you didn't get in ahead of the curve, like if you're not already on the boat, that ship has sailed like I don't know if I don't know if it's worth, um, using your using your waiver spots, especially if you know you do have one of the top waiver claims.
I don't know if he's worth the pick up from here on out.
Once the Packers start to get healthy on offense, once they get, um, do you want to Adams back on the other side of the by? Eventually, they're gonna have Alma's hardback.
And, of course, if you're not a Packers fan, you might not know Robert Tanyon is the backup to M****ille D's Lewis.
Now Lewis has not really performed as Faras Fantasy goes pretty much at all.
But Marcedes Lewis, the Packers love him because of his blocking abilities.
Uh, love to have him on the field.
He does take up the majority of the snaps when he's healthy.
Um, so I don't you tell me what you think we're going to do with Robert Tanyon here because I think a lot of the past three weeks success has been situational.
Obviously, he can play.
Obviously, he can catch the ball, and he's a talented tight end.
But, um, once the Packers get healthy, not only is he a backup, but, you know, the main two pass catchers come back.
He obviously could see and we'll see a drop off in production.
Do you think it's at all worth it to try and pick him up this week? Hold him through the bye week? You're not gonna be playing for two weeks now, so if you do go after him, you're not only going to use your waiver, um, your waiver spot, But you're gonna take up a bench spot for a guy who won't even play for two weeks and who knows what his production and snap share is going to be like when it comes back.
So I think, you know, Robert Tanya single handedly won me a league this past week.
I'm very grateful, Um, that I was told to pick him up.
Who was it that told me to pick him up? Um, he just who was it on this on the, uh, show last week? I believe it was Trevor. Yes, it was.
Um, he reminded me in the in the chat.
He's like, I hope that Tanya pickup worked out for you because he's killing me in one of my leagues.
And I responded.
I said, Dude, it saved me because I went in.
I went into that matchup down 10 points on Monday night and ended up winning by 22 points, thanks to Robert Tanya.
But anyway, all of this to say, um I don't think unless you have Robert Tanya on your bench already, I'm just not quite sure, um, that the value is there to go out and pick him up.
You might be disappointed moving forward based on what you've seen in the past few weeks.
Uh, Luke, let's start with you What do you feel about Robert Sonya? Obviously, this is This is the peak of the mountain, right? He's not gonna come out and have a better game than we saw last night.
But is there a chance that he still can put up anywhere from 10 to 20 points? 10 to 15 points, even on a consistent basis, Or you think the ship has sailed along with me? I I don't necessarily think that the ship has sailed.
Um, you know, he's still getting targets.
Even when he was in that backup role with, um, you know, some of the other players in, uh, the thing that sucks, though, for him is that three players Well, like you said so, of course you know his volume is gonna be inflated this last week.
Um, so I mean, Rogers still seems to look to Italian.
Maybe in the red zone, or whatever he had to touch on is coming into the night.
You know, um, I don't think he's gonna be, you know, like George Killer.
You know, Travis Kelsey or anything like that.
But I don't I don't think he's a bad bet.
Roster spot, maybe not with like your first.
You know your number one of the waiver while you're I wouldn't necessarily look at Robert Tanya right away.
But maybe, like assumes, like waivers.
And you see the still on the board, maybe the upcoming week.
You have a tight and that has a by I take a shot at him.
Um, it's funny that you said that two of that Robert Alyan was, uh, did well for you.
Um, I lost this week cause I didn't start Robert Tanyon.
He had 27 points on my bench.
I lost by 25 points.
That's roughly right.
And so I'm kind of on the Robert Downey train just for that.
But no, I mean, just I would stash them and use them, like as a replacement, Like a tight end.
Had a bye week or something like that.
Because I still do like, the look that he gets down in the red zone.
And even sometimes, like, third down.
Um, Rogers looked Italian like those long crossing and stuff like that.
Yeah, I'm mostly with you guys that I think that ship has sailed a little bit, but the tight end position is so rough as it is that I think you could definitely do a lot worse than him.
I mean, right now, the Packers were the best offense in the league.
Uh, like, in a lot of, like, statistical categories.
And I mean, at least you're attaching your tight into an offense like that when you could be picking somebody that's getting his volume and not so great offense, like the dude is five touchdowns in three weeks.
So maybe Rogers is going to keep looking for him in the red zone.
Um, and I think that's anything like, scoff at, like he like, he kind of passes the eyeball test for me.
Um, it does kind of suck that he has the by next week.
So you can't start and you have to hold on to him for a little bit longer.
But I feel like just the nature of the tight end position.
A lot of people are probably struggling as it is right now, and I think he gives a better option going forward than, um, maybe a lot of other guys that that some people have, and as you guys mentioned a couple times five touchdowns, that's huge.
I mean, Jimmy Graham played for the Packers for two years, and he had the same amount of touchdowns, five touchdowns in two years.
Robert Tanya has five touchdowns in three weeks.
Whether you're playing in a banged up, you know, offense or not.
I mean, like you said, Aaron Rodgers is looking for him, and he's in the He's second on the depth chart, right? But how else do you move up the depth chart? Besides, for proving yourself on the field, catching touchdown passes, making plays.
So just because he's second right now doesn't mean that he hasn't earned himself extra playing time.
Or who knows? Once Mercedes, Mercedes Lewis comes back again, he's not a contributor offensively in the same way as Robert.
Tanyon doesn't really catch the ball as much.
He's just a great blocker.
A big body out there s O Robert Town.
You can easily earn himself more playing time again.
We're only three weeks or four weeks into the season now, um, still a lot of football left to play, so Robert Tanya could earn himself more of a significant role in this offense moving forward.
So I guess, uh, like you said, Look, if he's there, especially if we waver is clear and he's there.
Then for sure Grab.
Um um, there might be a better value.
Probably is better value if you have the water to pick on the on the waiver wire this week.
Um, I think things might be different if he again plays next week without Davante Adams or without Alma's are.
But again, just having to wait two weeks.
He might cool off a little bit.
Three big weeks in a row from a backup tight end.
You know, if I'm a betting man, which I am, I'm just not quite so confident that that fourth week in a row is gonna be another big number.
You know, um, isn't I think Alan Lazard is having surgery and he's supposed to be out until, at least, like week nine or 10 right? Yeah, He had surgery, and officially it's indefinite.
He's out indefinitely.
They don't really have a timeline, but I think I've kind of heard rumblings as well.
Yeah, if you could get him for the back stretch of the season Comeback week 10 somewhere somewhere in that area.
The Packers will be happy with that, But I mean even even without and this hard, we saw Aaron Rodgers get the other wide receivers involved.
Um, it is a drop off, though, Even with MVS.
Like you could just tell he and Rogers Air not on the same page.
Rogers tried a couple deep shots and really severely overthrew him.
Um, and NVs to just doesn't know how to get through the defenders the same way that l'm lizard and, uh, Davante Adams do.
Yeah, he's just getting He got tangled up a lot.
At least that's what I saw.
So his route running is in his clean.
His connection with Aaron Rodgers is not as solid.
So I mean, Robert Tanya.
He still could play a role in this offense, for sure, at least until Alma's hard comes back.
And even if Lazard comes back, I mean, a tight end and a wide receiver there different positions, right? They don't necessarily have to cut in, cut into each other.
Productive action that much.
Um, I love this Packers offense.
I love everybody in this Packers offense.
Jamal Williams had a big night as well.
Um, could have started either Williams or Italian and one my league.
So I was lucky there that I had both of them as as backup options when Toronto Adams went out.
So, yeah, I mean, just because of how good this Packers offense has been and the fact that was hard is going to be out for a little while longer, I say.
Sure, go ahead, take a shot at Robert Tanyon.
As long as you're not spending that top waiver pick on him.
Unless unless tight end your only problem.
I mean, if tight end your only problem.
You wanna take a shot at him? I don't really.
There's really no other tight ends except for the one that we're gonna talk about next.
That I think are even worthy of high consideration at all at this point.
So, uh, I guess I'm comfortable giving Robert Tanya shot.
Just don't put Don't put all your eggs in Italian basket, I guess, is what I'm saying.
And if he comes out, lays an egg of the week after the by.
Don't be surprised either.
Like I said, three big weeks in a row.
Tough to do with four weeks in a row, no matter who you are.
Even if you're a superstar, at the tight end position.
We'll stick with tight ends that I wanna talk about Dalton Schultz next as, ah, bold runnings.
Thank you for the foam finger.
Appreciate the tip.
Appreciate all of you watching and any of you who tip us.
We greatly appreciate that very much.
Uh, Dalton Schultz, the Cowboys tight end he's been talked about on a couple of different shows that I've been on.
I know Henry is big on Dalton Schultz.
He's on the roster than 46% of leagues might help you out if you are like me and you've got Austin Hooper or my Kosecki er at any one of these guys that were supposed to be a top five tight end, but they've been pretty much just disappointing across the board.
Um, Dalton Schultz is finding ways to produce in that Cowboys offense, which is just scoring points at a ridiculous rate.
But it's also such a talented offense, and it's such a deep offense.
You would think that a young tight end might just get lost in the mix, right? I mean, it's happening to Michael Gallup, so I wouldn't happen to their tight end But Schultz has managed to not have that be a problem, as I'm looking up his looking up his numbers in the past weeks right now.
But what do you guys think of Dalton Schultz down in Dallas? He's at least worth a roster spot, right? I mean, he's been pretty consistent so far.
Yeah, he's been pretty consistent.
Um, I know you mentioned that, you know, being a young tight, and he might get lost in the shuffle.
Um, there are a lot of like mo's defeat on that offense, so to save, But I think with how Dallas offense place, you know, Michael Gallup.
These mountains are getting fed like almost all of them.
Um, you know, Dalton Schultz is one of those guys.
Um, I talked with Zach.
I don't If it was on this show are different last week.
But Dalton Schultz is kind of like that underneath guy like the three receivers that the Cowboys have all kind of play like that same role of like, the deep ball, you know, it could go up and get its field stretches.
And the Dalton Schultz is just by himself in the middle of the field and I think that plays big to when you're within.
You know that 20 yard red zone area? Um, you know, he had a good matchup against weak against Cleveland last week and he made the most out of it.
And he's got a great matchup this week against the Giants. I think.
Dalton Schultz, you know.
So your Lack and I took it and I would even take him over.
Robert Tanyon, I think, Yeah, he's definitely worth the roster spot.
And I would say he's definitely deserving to be in your starting lineup every week at this point, like the dude is getting it done.
He has 28 targets of the tight end position, which is tied for fifth, most at the position.
And the Cowboys like to be this season like their defense is really bad.
So it's just going to ensure these game scripts where, like they're throwing all the time and Jack is putting up these crazy numbers and there is a lot of mouths to feed, but it's looking like it's pretty sustainable, I think.
And, uh, Luke Yeah, that was with me and Zach about how he's gonna underneath options, and I totally agree with that? Um I mean, he's just getting consistent usage every week.
And it's I'd be really curious to see what it would look like if Blake Darwin didn't get hurt right now.
Like, because Schultz looks like maybe he could have surpassed Darwin at some point because he looks really good on the field.
I think we might see situation right now where? Maybe Blake Jar one and Schultz kind of just what? The time? 50 50 And both were not fantasy relevant.
But, like the Darwin injury injury has kind of paved the way for the title musician for this team toe really make a difference in fantasy lineup.
Yeah, that's a great point.
Um, we've seen that with running backs and tight ends.
Actually, um, that's what people were worried about.
I think the number one thing they worried about with Austin Hooper was that he was just gonna have to share, um, share the tight end targets, um, in in Cleveland.
So So I I agree.
If you know, if the number one, um, tight end for Dallas doesn't go down, that number two probably doesn't have that big of a chance to shine.
There probably splitting time splitting targets.
Neither one really fantasy relevant, but Schultz, obviously making the most of his opportunities.
The last three weeks he's had nine catches, four catches and four catches.
So that helps out there.
If you're in a PPR league, which I think you know at this point, most people do play NPP, PPR leagues.
Um, and they're not just like little catches for 35 yards, either.
I mean, he's got 88 yards, 72 yards, 48 yards.
So he's making things happen.
And I think the way that the that the Dallas offense is set up, you know, kind of going off with you guys said they leave a lot of space open in the middle because you gotta worry about Zeke out in the flats or Zeke in the backfield.
And then you gotta worry about three speedy, deep, wide receivers That doesn't leave a lot of coverage in the middle of the field.
I mean, you've got linebackers on them a lot of time.
Eso it's everything.
Everything set up quite well for Shultz here.
He is questionable, though, heading into this week's match up against the Giants.
So if you do have him or plan on picking him up.
Um, just be aware of that, Theo.
The the only other guy, actually, actually, I have to.
I have a quarterback that we'll talk about before we move on to two drops.
Unless you guys have anybody else.
But, uh, the other guy that I think is really interesting here moving forward is D Earnest Johnson.
Three Browns running back a Z.
Of course, Nick Chubb is out for upwards of six weeks now with I believe it. Was it an M c.
L injury? If I remember correctly.
So many injuries this this year.
Uh, hard to keep track, but Nick Chubb going to be out for upwards of six weeks.
Of course, Kareem Hunt is a very good, great, actually back and very talented and very capable.
But he can't play simply can't play every possession.
And he can't play every down, right? There's gotta be somebody else.
There's gotta be another option.
That option is D Earnest Johnson.
Hey, comes into the game after Chub goes down, has 95 yards on 13 carries.
That's a nice average of what, seven point something right there without doing the actual math.
Uh, really nice average after Chub went down.
Obviously not really.
Any plans of playing a ton this past week? Because when you're playing behind Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt, you probably just don't plan on getting the ball a lot. Right.
But, uh, the Browns have have made it known and established that they wanna be a run first type of team.
They still have Kareem Hunt there, I think Baroness Johnson worthy of a roster spot, for sure, and maybe even worthy of a flex.
Um, maybe if you wanna give him a week and see what he does.
I can understand that, too.
But he's going to get his like he's got 90.
He had 95 yards, um, had over 10 points.
Let's see, I had everything had everything pulled up here before, but I sort of lost it here.
5 points, so, but that's because he had zero catches.
I think they'll get him involved in the passing game a little bit, too.
5 points off of 13 carries.
Still pretty good for a third string running back who didn't have any expectations to play.
He is rostered in 130.
4% of leagues, so he will 100% be available in your league if you are looking for a running back or you're looking for a cuff, if you have chub or even if you have Hunt as well.
Guys, what do you know about D? Earnest Johnson? He also wears the number 30 which is my favorite number.
So he's got that going for him as well.
What do you think of the Earnest Johnson? You think he's going to have? Ah, decent, decent load here in the upcoming weeks for the Browns? I mean, Kareem Hunt.
Just not the kind of back that can play four downs all game long.
He's just not so.
I think Johnson's gonna see some snap shares here.
I would definitely say that I think Cream Huntsman awesome in the role that he played this year.
I don't see why the Brown did want to try to change that because Cream Hunt is a great receiver.
You know he's great on third downs.
He's great, you know.
Coming in may be the end of first quarter starting second quarter.
I think Johnson gets, you know, the first couple carries of a drive because I don't think that they're gonna stray away from, um, keep line that they've used to get them to be three and one now now, obviously, Johnson's don't Nick Chubb, but I still think, um, cream Hunt plays better as that secondary receiving back.
Not even secondary, but that change of pace receiving back where you can, you know, spell starting back with my job.
And I think it's gonna be Johnson in this situation.
I think it's shocking.
Some teams are some people, a lot of people.
Um, the only problem.
I have a Johnson, though He's had a tough matchup this weekend's Indianapolis.
Who was, I would imagine to be more of a cream hunt game than you know.
Just do it to the Indianapolis since good front seven.
But I mean, I think Johnson is worth a pickup, especially if Nick jobs for six weeks, you know, Uh oh, someone's got to run the ball.
You know, this does seem more like a would be a longer term play rather than just you know, who's he playing this week? I mean, Chuck is gonna be all for, like, six weeks, so this would be a longer term play and pick up.
Wouldn't it be Tanner? Yeah, I agree with that s so he gets the Colts this week, and then he follows that up with the Ravens the week after.
So, like pretty, uh, like, tough two matchups to start for him.
But Jake on the show yesterday were I kept talking about how much I just really like Stefanski and really believe in this Brown's run game.
And I feel like you have to pick up the earnest and see what happens with that.
Like, I really think the Browns are gonna utilize multiple running backs.
Uh, going forward with Nick shop out.
I think Cream Hunt is gonna be great going forward, but it's not just gonna be him and d Earnest, like, looked awesome in that game.
I was watching that game a lot, and every time he touched the ball, he just he did something with it, and I Definitely it's one game.
So there's that, like Dontrelle Hilliard also got five carries.
Um, so maybe we see a situation going forward where Kareem Hunt is getting a lot of the work and then the earnest and Hilliard or kind of the cleanup crew, and they kind of split evenly.
Um, it's hard to say after just one game, but that wouldn't that's not what I think, what happened and just based on the strength of this Brown Brown's run game and Nick Chubb being out, I think during this Johnson has to be one of your top pick ups this week just to see, like how they use him.
And he looked so he looked really talented when I washed him.
So, like, definitely worth the pickup.
I don't know if I would feel comfortable throwing him in my lineup as soon as this week.
I think you could do worse, but like I would love to have him and see what happens from here and as mentioned owned and 0.
So unless you are one of the very unlucky souls that somebody already owns him, in which I would doubt unless you're in a 16 or 20 man league or something like that Oh, you're gonna be able to pick him up.
And, um, I would much rather if you've got the choice between anybody that we're taught that we've talked about so far today between, um, a tight end, whether it's Schultz dartanyon or, uh, Johnson here, I'm picking up Johnson.
Um, just because he's going to get ah lot, he's gonna get a lot more opportunity.
He's gonna get more looks.
Uh, Stefanski does have a big part to do with that as well.
And I think obviously this is probably an untapped, potential kind of kind of situation.
None of us really know all that much about the Earnest Johnson.
He could be really, really good.
And he could go off or he could just, you know, like, have looked really good in this backup role.
Kind of a surprise player, um, comes out and falls out week one and then just looks very, very average or just, you know, another running back moving forward.
Nobody really knows, but I'd rather have him on my team if he starts to go off than just, you know, let him let somebody else take the chance running backs, especially this year, it seems like with the running back injuries and stuff, running back field is pretty thin.
So if if you could get somebody with even potential.
Especially potential like this.
I'm scooping him up this year for sure.
He's probably available in most Dynasty leaks, too.
That's true as well.
Um, that is very true as well.
And you probably not gonna try.
Probably not gonna cost you very much.
And the most dynasty leagues you have tow give up.
You know, usually a certain amount of money or cap space.
However you run it probably not gonna cost you very much either.
So, um, Johnson definitely somebody that I would highly consider and probably the top guy I've got my eye on this week as we move forward, there's only one quarterback I really wanted to talk about because most of the quarterbacks, at least in my leagues, who aren't rostered already just really are not worthy of conversation.
I asked last week after we saw Nick Foles do what he did in relief of Mitchell. Travis Key.
I said, Is he worth a pickup? Is he worth a start? Um, I don't think we need to ask that question anymore after what we saw out of the bears this last week.
Somebody I am curious about, though, is Teddy Bridgewater was not great fantasy wise.
The last two weeks he started off with 19 points against Las Vegas. Week one.
But man, he looks pretty good, as did the Carolina offense as a whole against Arizona, 26.
He's only rostered in 12% of leagues.
And the reason I ask this is just mostly because he's got a favorable schedule coming up.
Um, maybe he's not your guy for a majority of the rest of the season.
But if your quarterback is struggling or you looking to change up pace in the next few weeks, uh, Teddy Bridgewater plays Atlanta two out of his next or two out of his next four games.
He also plays New Orleans, who has given up plenty of yards, UM, two quarterbacks and wide receivers.
This year, he's got a kind of a tough matchup with Chicago, um, in two weeks.
But, hey, if you get three out of four favorable matchups in the upcoming weeks as we move in the week 9, 10 and 11 it gets a little harder in Kansas City, Tampa Bay, and then you get Detroit and Minnesota again.
So I think honestly, throughout the next 6 to 7 weeks, you're getting four out of seven or five out of seven favorable matchups for Teddy Bridgewater.
If your quarterback situation has not been great this year, I think he's maybe worth a shot.
Maybe worth the risk, especially if you're one of those teams whose one in 32 and two right now you're tryingto find a way.
Thio turn things around before the homestretch trying to make your fantasy season playoffs.
I think Teddy Bridgewater is worth a look, not necessarily worth an automatic start, but, hey, he is playing Atlanta next week who has just been torched by every quarterback that they've played against.
You guys think Teddy Bridgewater is worth any consideration? Obviously, it's obviously it depends on your roster if you've got, you know, if you got Ben Roethlisberger and Patrick Mahomes.
Yeah, you're sitting pretty.
You don't need toe mess around with Teddy Bridgewater.
But if you're somebody in a more desperate situation, he's not a bad choice right now.
What do you think? Yeah, I'd say so.
I don't know what to make of this Carolina offense.
It seems like they have good players, you know, But do they always perform great? Um, not this year.
I mean, they've had some great leak, some up and down weeks.
But I think Teddy Bridgewater, just because of the schedule, is you know, if you need a court records say of Aaron Rodgers and a bias week, I think Teddy Bridgewater should be close to the number one quarterback taken it off the waivers this week just for that favorable schedule.
Um, I'm just pulling up his stats here, and it looks like he gets a little bit Don't his legs to with his legs, too.
So, you know that adds, ah, little, little different element to fantasy football.
You know, you get the extra 23 points for 2030 rushing yards and he's got a Russian touch on this year.
Tua's well, so I think especially, You know, if you have quarterbacks on buys his next 34 weeks, Look at Teddy Bridgewater.
Um, just especially, like like you said, Um, if you're like a dire situation where you needed a quarterback like Teddy Bridgewater, I think is looking at all my leagues that he's the best quarterback available right now.
Did you guys see that rushing touchdown this week against Cardinals.
It was really nice.
Yeah, but Teddy Bridgewater, I would say, is a guy I like more than most people do.
Actually, Um, when the Panthers signed them like immediately, I tweeted out, I was like, This is perfect because he was going into a new system with some really good weapons and he was just going to get a chance to be the guy.
And this is still a team that has, like, completely, then uprooted.
And they're starting fresh this season and the fact that they're coming out and winning games even without McCaffrey and Bridgewater is looking pretty good early on.
And this is a brand new system like, I think he's only gonna get better and more comfortable as the season progresses.
And then the fact that he is such a good upcoming schedule makes me even more bullish on him.
And, like I think Robby Anderson is absolutely legit, like I was before he got signed, I kept telling myself I was like, He's gonna be the wide receiver one where he goes, because I just didn't make a mental note like that's how talented he is, and I'm really surprised to see how good he's doing, even for how much I liked him.
And then you add in D.
Moore and Curtis Samuel is a great player and then, eventually, is gonna get Christian McCaffrey back.
But my Davis looks good.
I just think he's surrounded by a lot of weapons in a new scheme, and I think we're yet to see what he's fully capable of.
Mike Davis had to have been a name that you guys discussed a few weeks ago on Christian.
McCaffrey went down right, and he has not disappointed.
I mean, he stepped into that starting role after zero point, Week one against Las Vegas, Not sure if he played or if he was out to be totally honest.
But since week 2 15.
So, obviously, these themes backup running backs have the capability When the starter goes down, Um, they have the capability to step in and be really, really good.
Obviously, Mike Mike Davis, uh, it's probably much too late for you to pick him up.
That would have been an acquisition.
You wouldn't need to may have made a couple weeks ago as he's rostered in 97% of fantasy leagues.
I mean, I think he's surrounded by talent.
I have this argument with Zach and Henry preseason where I said I Carolina is going to be because they put Carolina in as one of the teams as the front runners to get Trevor Lawrence next year.
I said I didn't think Carolina was gonna be that bad.
I think I said I thought they were gonna rattle off some wins.
Teddy Bridgewater was going to play good enough that they aren't going to be looking to replace him immediately.
But they aren't also going to be good enough to be a 10 win team.
Like I think I said a nine or 10 win team.
So they're gonna be kind of just stuck in the middle.
And I was like, I don't you know, I don't know how that's gonna vote for Matt.
Matt rule Just being one of these teams, that's kind of just stuck in the middle.
When he's supposed to come in and turn the franchise around, you know, make the most out of McCaffrey and stuff.
And I thought, Teddy Bridgewater is obviously capable quarterback.
He can win you games.
I don't I don't know if he's a Super Bowl type of quarterback, but I also said he's not a bad quarterback at all.
So you're not gonna be in the race for Trevor Lawrence, and I think what we're seeing is that exact thing play out.
I don't think that Carolina is really gonna have any real shot.
Um, at the playoffs are in the playoffs.
But I also don't think that they're gonna have a shot at a top five pick.
So I think Teddy Bridgewater might be your guy moving forward, at least for the short time foreseeable future.
And he deserves it.
He's been playing well, and now that they know what they have in Mike Davis, once they get Christian McCaffrey back, that's just another weapon at his disposal.
So I like Teddy Bridgewater.
I think he should be rostered, especially like you said, Look, if you got Aaron Rodgers or anybody else with these early buys coming up, Teddy Bridgewater is a great play moving forward here.
You also got to remember to like, remember who Teddy Bridgewater was in college, Remember, he was a Heisman frontrunner, Remember? He had four rushing touchdowns before his catastrophic knee injury that, um, rushing touchdown.
This this last weekend was his first one since 2000 and 15 So it's been a while since he's been able to use his legs.
But he did it four other times in the two seasons before that.
He is a mobile, dynamic quarterback.
Obviously, he's never gonna be, you know, as dynamic as he was when he was 23 coming into the league.
But, um, he's looking a lot more like his old self.
He won games last year in New Orleans.
I mean, you just can't find a knack on Teddy Bridgewater.
It's very hard to at least do you guys have anybody else that you want to talk about? As far as guys you should have an eye on to add to your team before we move on to drops.
I honestly only have one drop written down on.
It's the same guy have been preaching to get rid of all season long, Um, let's finish up our thoughts on ads, though.
You guys have anybody specifically, you wanted to talk about or anybody worthy of consideration this week? Um, I just so I don't Me and Zach.
We talked about a lot, but, uh, I played Tee Higgins this week instead of a J.
Green, and that worked in my favor.
I think that from at least what I've been watching for the Bengals, that Tee Higgins seems to be more of a focal point of that offense.
Green is, um, I just looked.
He's only roster in, like 36% of leagues.
Higgins is a big, tall receiver.
He seems like a young age, a green.
Higgins needs to be rostered in all leagues because I talked about it to that rookie rookie.
Connection often seems to work in the NFL, too.
I think that Tee Higgins is a good player moving forward as well.
Look, I'm really glad you brought him up.
He might even be, I think, for wide receivers.
He's probably my number one pick up right now.
I also started him in a league this week and I won by like, 1.
8 points, so, like I was really glad I threw him in my lineup.
He had seven targets, four catches for 77 yards and the last two weeks.
He kind of seems like the guide outside of Boyd right now.
And I like this Bangles offense, and it just seems like he's being more and more integrated and, like the draft capital is there.
And I think he is the future of this team. And A J.
Green hasn't looked too great so far.
I know on the last show, Zack was saying he'd rather have Tea Higgins over Green going forward, and I really like that take and this week, like, kind of made that look really smart.
And I would definitely be trying to grab Higgins if you can.
And another guy I really like, Go ahead, Jake.
I was just gonna say A J Green slowly.
Maybe not even that slowly, but he's moving to the back of the pack.
A Sfar, as that Bengals offense goes.
I mean, he used to be the guy.
He was in the argument.
No matter who you talk to for top three wide receiver in the league, Now he's being beat out.
I mean, Tyler Boyd looks like a beast.
I love Tyler Boyd, but, uh, and now he's being vetoed by rookie Tee Higgins.
We obviously Saudi.
And he reminded everybody how good he can be.
I mean, every week that goes by a J.
Green is becoming a less and less crucial point off this Bengals offense.
I'm not ready, Thio.
Totally cut him loose.
Yeah, that Maybe that will be.
I'm sure there will be discussion in upcoming weeks, but I definitely like Tee Higgins as well.
Who else did you have there, Tanner? Yeah.
So you have to keep an eye on this because he has a hamstring injury right now, but I really like LA Viscous Nolt.
Like I might even wanna pick him up over Higgins.
Um, I had his had a stat line up.
I know he had 86 yards.
I think I want to say it was on, like, five or six catches.
And he was well on his way to over 100 in this game before he had that hamstring in the middle of the second half, and they drafted him highly for a reason.
And whenever he touches the ball like he just seems like he makes the first offender.
I really like what I've seen from him so far, and I really think he's going to establish himself as the number two guy in this offense behind D J chart.
And I like what I've seen from the Jaguars offense.
I really believe in Menchu and Shinola.
They're getting involved in the running game, too.
I really think they wanna keep using him going forward.
And I would say that he is way up there asses one of my picks this week.
E think, Yeah, I think he's in a situation to where you know the number one receiver coming back doesn't hurt him because I feel like as a rookie, you know, especially jjh are coming off a good year last year and he had a good week this week.
I think a lot of focus is gonna be on him, you know, leaving channel open for those like gadget plays, maybe for post or corner post road for a long touchdown.
Something like that.
I think it only helps him, you know, keep developing into a solid receiver that the number one receiver is back to take some of that attention off of them.
Yeah, I was really glad to see D.
J chart back this week to, because that's only gonna be great for their offense.
And the the Jaguars offense overall, I think, has been, um, surprising on the field, but also in the world of fantasy, I mean, they've got, uh, wide receivers and running backs.
Producing Gardner Minshew has looked pretty good.
I think they're outperforming pretty much all expectations.
Any way that you look at it that people had for them this year on a Twitter, Somebody asked, What's your bold prediction for the season? And I thought about it for a little bit.
And I said that meant you would outscore to Shawn Watson this year, and so far he has.
So I'm really excited to see this.
That is, that definitely is that.
It's a bold prediction.
But, um, it's looking good so far.
And obviously, you know, that's not really a question that can be answered for four weeks into the season, when you've got, you know, a lot of data thio, uh, work with, but I don't know if I if I had to say one obviously now, with uh, I guess it doesn't really work to Well, because I was going to say I thought Kareem Hunt was goingto be just as important and have Justus many points coming in throughout this season.
Um, then Nick Chubb, even coming into the season.
I mean, I drafted him as my RV to in, like, three leagues, and I was being, like, made fun of basically and like, he's not an RV to buy about this and that he's been killing for me in my RV to slot, so I don't know that probably that was a prediction that I had going in.
Um, so there you go, that's that's mine.
Obviously it's gonna come true now that jobs gonna be out for six weeks, Scream Hunt will end up with more points.
But I just I just thought he was gonna be Justus Big oven offensive.
Part of this brown steam and so far seems to be right.
Well, if we don't have anything else on adds, let's move on to drops Azaz.
We just talked about for a second there a j.
He's a name that he's been counted in the back of my mind.
I don't have him on any of my rosters.
So, um, didn't really think about him as I was doing some quick prep here tonight, but a Sfar as a J.
Green goes, um, again, I just I'm not ready to let him toe let him go quite yet.
I think you can afford a stash spot on a guy like that.
It's tough for me if you guys wanna touch anymore on A J. Green and go ahead.
Otherwise, the only guy that I've got written down is carry on.
Johnson. I've been saying since Week one.
Dump carry on Johnson.
If you are, Look, if you still are holding him, why, that's my first question.
Why? I mean DeAndre Swift is theologian back in this field in this back field right now, Adrian Peterson still looks really good, still throwing off tacklers still power in his way into the end zone.
There is no place on this on this on your fantasy team, and there's hardly a place on the re alliance team for Carry on Johnson.
He's disappointing As a number one running back, he's disappointing as a third string running back has had, like two points in fantasy, I think three out of the four weeks this year, uh, dump carry on, Johnson.
That's the one piece of advice that I have for you.
Yeah, I like that.
I'm just pulled up his stats here.
Um, he only has, was it, You know, 15.
I can't do the math here, but like, 15.
18 Russia's on the year.
And he's supposed to be, you know, the number one running back coming into the year.
Um, it looks like they're running Peterson a lot, you know? And that's that was tough when you have, ah, Hall of Famer that they're running instead of because it's like they're going to stick with the Hall of Famer, you know? Um, yeah, Karen, the Lions offense doesn't do it for me.
I don't think I don't believe in them.
I think you're always gonna be the Lions.
Just not that great of a team.
Andi having running third string running back on a not great team is not great recipe for fantasy success.
So yeah, I'm on board dropped carry on, Johnson.
I wouldn't touching with San football for the rest of the year. At least.
He's got 21 total carries on and two receptions on the year. That's it.
Yeah, I totally agree with that.
Like, you guys pretty much said it all.
Wouldn't wouldn't touch him at all, but on the same team.
How do you guys feel about Marvin Jones? He had one catch this week, which was preceded, preceded by three catches, four catches and four catches.
He has pretty much been unplayable.
Up to this point.
He's somebody that I would feel comfortable dropping.
Yeah, I don't like Marvin Jones.
I never have was asked about him a couple of weeks previous to when Kenny Golladay was out.
You know, he never shined.
He never shined.
He doesn't shine when he's got the secondary coverage.
He's not going to shine when he's got the top coverage.
And even with Kenny Golladay back, you know he didn't do anything this weekend, either.
He's so touched on dependent, its's nuts.
He's one of those guys who usually at most, as you know, three or four catches, even if he goes off in a game and has a few more catches, it seems like, uh never really piled up the yards, either.
Like he finds ways to just never have a complete stat line, either.
He's got the catches, but it's for hardly any yards or he's got to catch is.
But he finds the end zone in both of them like he's just one of those guys, you know.
And he's so touchdown dependent.
Um, how many do you have? How many touchdowns he's got this.
This year's hander? I think it's only to maybe one.
Okay, yeah, one through four weeks, not getting the volume.
I mean, a couple of lines players here that you can easily just just get rid of.
I mean, at this point, it's Maybe Adrian Peterson has a flex, but other than that, it's the Big three in DeAndre Swift, Kenny Golladay, Matt Stafford.
If you're starting anybody else on the Lions, uh, there's just better value many, many, many other places and carry on.
Johnson still roster than over 50% of ESPN leagues like Come on, people get.
Get rid of them.
Go get rid of him, pick up the Browns running back that we just told you about a few minutes ago.
There's no reason to have carry on Johnson on your team. Zero.
Yeah, I'll just along with that Marvin Jones point.
He is not like a big play receiver like I remember when he was younger.
I used to go up, you know, catch balls in triple coverage anymore.
It just doesn't seem like he does that anymore.
Matthew Stafford doesn't seem to really look for him that much.
Unless you know, usually the 3rd 4th read, and especially with the emergence teacher Hawkins into, I wouldn't I don't think I touch Barbara Jones.
It feels like Marvin Jones has like to like three touchdown weeks every season.
And then people want to talk about him through the whole offseason, like for fantasy.
And he's just somebody I'm never high on and like something that I thought could happen this year was that Kenny goal.
They would finish as like the overall wide receiver.
One like that was something I felt pretty strongly about, and so many like I feel like you were either really on board with the all day or you were Marvin Jones like there was a lot of people saying is a bold prediction of Marvin Jones was gonna finish right where Kenny Golladay was and take away a lot of work.
And it was just some every time I heard that.
I've just been like no, like, Please stop.
Um but yeah, I just like Golladay is an Alfa, and I think he's so much better than Marvin Jones is.
Yeah, I mean, that's simply what it comes down to.
And throughout the Lions history and Matthew Stafford history, it seems like he's a one receiver kind of dude.
When he had Calvin Johnson, it was all Calvin Johnson.
Now he's got Kenny Golladay, and it's all Kenny Golladay like.
He's not the type of guy like Aaron, like an Aaron Rodgers, like a Tom Brady who's just gonna find four or five different guys for touchdown passes every night.
Like he's got his guy, that big, dominant wide receiver.
And that's who he's gonna go.
Thio and Marvin Jones, you know, looking at his stats again.
It's kind of exactly what I said, you know, 44 catches for 54 yards.
That's that's not a terrible day, right? But when you don't have any touchdowns to go with it, that doesn't even get you 10 points.
Another last week.
He's got three catches for 51 yards.
Not terrible, right? Zero touchdowns.
He's only got eight points.
I mean, there are so many other options and people who, uh, either rack up more catches like s.
So it's gonna help you on the PPR side or they just find the end zone and a much more consistent basis.
Here's another crazy thing.
Johnson rostered on over 50% of leagues.
Marvin Jones roasted in over 90% of leagues.
You don't need him.
You don't need him.
He's taken up a spot.
90% of you guys have him rostered.
Cut these. Cut these Lions players, man.
I mean, cut him.
I there's no there's been no saving grace.
And we've seen this this play out with both of these guys in recent seasons and recent weeks.
I mean, how much longer you gonna ride these lions? Just don't be afraid to cut him.
I also don't think that anybody is going to go sprinting out after, um, either one of these guys.
So if you if you caught him and then a week later, you got seller's remorse.
You're probably still gonna be able to go back and grab him if you really, really want him back.
But at this point of the season, there's so much more potential in talent.
Elsewhere outside the Lions, though, you guys got anybody else that you would say Good riddance.
Good riddance, Thio.
I honestly, you know, like I said, I only have a few minutes to prep for the show, but I was honestly thinking through it.
And outside of those couple of guys, there's not anybody else that I've watched this season, and I'm just like God, he's awful.
Um, what do you guys think, though? Four weeks through four weeks of the season, is there anybody else we should be cutting loose? I think that this year, a lot of people I know you talked about a lot in a couple different shows, but a lot of people hiding Rob Gronkowski Um you know, he hasn't performed 2011 toe 2013 Gronk it all this year.
Um, I dropped him two weeks ago in a lot of my leagues, and I haven't really thought anything about it.
Even with Chris God went out last week.
He only had one catch for 29 yards.
It just from what I've been watching for Tampa Bay games.
It doesn't even seem like time.
But he's looking to Rob Gronkowski right now, and I know O. J.
Howard just got hurt.
But from what I've been seeing, it looks like they're using Rob Gronkowski.
Try to get the running game going rather than getting the short pasching going that that has been known for.
So I think if I if I have Gronkowski, I've still want to drop him.
I don't see ah lot of value there with Gronkowski.
Do you guys have anything, Any opinions about that 100%? I felt pretty strongly about not drafting Gronk this year.
And Jake, when you were saying how you were like, I don't understand why anybody holding this guy anymore I thought you were gonna talk about Gronk.
Um instead of carry on like I like, I just don't get it.
And even with O.
Howard getting hurt, I still don't want him now I completely agree.
I mean, all of the same things that I said about carry on can be said about, uh, drunk.
Especially like you, said Luke.
It doesn't even look like it's not like he's, you know, getting chances, getting looks and just not converting on them like he's not even getting the opportunity.
Tom Brady is looking elsewhere.
I don't know if that's game plan or if that's just, you know, Gronk spent out of football.
He's not as big as he once was.
Maybe people have figured out how to cover.
Or maybe he's a step slower.
I don't really know what's been going on with rock.
Um, you gotta wonder how if, you know, I'm sure he's still happy to be back playing football.
But you gotta wonder if he is questioning, you know, should or shouldn't.
I have come back, you know, with my effectiveness just being so low.
Um, obviously, if they make a nice run, they make you know a look at the Super Bowl.
It's always worth it to be on the team, and he got to skip out on pretty much all any preseason workouts or obligations or anything like that.
So maybe he's not, you know, to upset that he came back.
But fantasy owners definitely upset at him for how little he's done on the field.
I will eat my words.
I will concede defeat already.
Because I was a Buccaneers believer.
I was a grant believer coming into this season, lots of people, including Zach, including Henry.
Tanner, I'm not sure.
And no, Gronk is not gonna be.
He's lost too much weight.
He's been out of the game.
He's washed up all this and that, and I just refused to believe it.
But after watching for four weeks, I still don't want to call him washed up.
I I still think he could get out there and ball, um, if need be.
But over the course of a 16 week season and talking fantasy wise, yeah, I will admit, my I will admit my defeat or admit my mistake and say that I am defeated here and I no longer believe in Gronk um anybody? Anybody else outside of Gronk, anybody else that you guys could think of? Like I said, kind of at this point of the season, it's like, Ah, lot of these guys.
You know what you're getting? You know who they are? The backups who have already who were going to make a name for themselves.
Kind of already have had their chance to make a name for themselves.
So, um, probably less guys we talked about this week than in previous weeks.
Um, you guys usually talk about anything else outside of just straight up.
Add drop, you cover anything else on these shows? Action.
Um, another guy I'll actually throw out there.
I would go ahead and drop Brandon cooks.
Um, like, zero catches this week.
I he hasn't done much in a couple of years now, and I just I just think he's done like I have.
I don't want him at all.
And maybe he goes out there and catches a few balls next week, but that's about all I see happening from him.
Yeah, Brandon cooks is a weird one because he had he had 3 1000 yard receiving teams on three different teams three years in a row.
And I was questions like, Why are people like trading and why are they cutting them is gonna be a good player.
You know that Great, You know, obviously is an NFL player, but he must not be that great.
You know that they're cutting them and just not even throwing the ball anymore.
So I'm very confused on the whole Brandon cooks issue.
Um, being confusing fantasy is not really a good idea.
So I'm with you.
I just get rid of them.
Let someone else deal with that problem.
Yeah, I said this preseason, too, because I was arguing that DeAndre Hopkins not being on this team was going to be the nail in the coffin.
Like this team is already so borderline every year.
And DeShaun Watson already runs for his life and struggles enough.
Now he doesn't have that big target that he could just chuck the ball up.
Two and a guy that will help bail amount of situations.
And what I heard back was no, They got, they got Brandon cooks and they got, you know, other guys that'll make up for it by committee, blah, blah.
No, that's not the case.
Brandon Brandon cooks.
He's not a game difference maker like DeAndre Hopkins.
He's not a big guy.
He doesn't have the speed that he once had.
I don't think and yeah, when you're putting up 1000 yards and still getting bounced, especially after when teams are paying you to go away.
I mean, all those things are like, you know, there is merit to that.
You know, teams don't just cut good players.
Teams just don't don't just let people bounce around from organization organization if they're worth holding onto.
So there is merit in that.
And I think finally, Brandon cooks.
Um, I don't know if it's, you know, father time.
I don't think he's that old.
I don't know what it is, but I think he's definitely past his prime, um, 100% past his prime.
And he's just not worth a look in fantasy anymore.
His best week was 14.
5 points this week, other than that this season.
Other than that, he put up four points, 5.
3 points and zero points has zero touchdowns on the season.
So, yeah, I feel comfortable getting around Brandon cooks as well, but hey, good for him, for I guess, scamming three different teams out of a whole bunch of money.
That's always, you know, the Brock Osweiler type that come in that you pay them all this money and then you pay them to go away.
Um, I you know, I can never be too sad if you're one of those guys like, Hey, I made, like, $70 million the past five years.
So anyway, that is Brandon cooks.
I I personally don't really love anybody on the Texans moving forward outside of, um, outside of Johnson in the back field.
He's been, ah, lot better than I expected him to be in a bounce back year after a couple, you know, disappointing years after, uh, such a good season all those years ago in Arizona.
Other than that, I mean to Shawn Watson to, obviously.
But the Texans air just their own for and they're just full of questions moving forward.
So I have no problem getting rid of Brandon cooks or really anybody else on that text in squad that you see fit.
I don't have anything else, so I don't have any other players.
So, Tanner, Luke, any last thoughts or otherwise, this is the first time that I've kept a stream within an hour, I think since we started doing these things, so that's kind of nice.
Other than that, any final thoughts here.
Thio, wrap up the stream? Um, no, I don't think so.
Um, I was happy that we went over the show because coming in tow Wake.
I woke up this morning like I don't even know who I wanna pick up this week.
So I'm happy you guys could give me a little insight on maybe some players to look at.
Um, it's just nice.
Now you're were four weeks and you can kind of feel what players? They're gonna end up being the season.
You know, I'll actually throw out another name.
Are you guys dropping? T y Hilton? Go ahead.
OK, I would say yes, of course.
Your I I I think so.
Another guy like a J.
Who, you know, they were good players once.
I don't think they're good players anymore.
Um, Philip Rivers isn't seeming to target to you by helping that much.
He's not seem to throw.
You know those two I'll post wrote that we've come accustomed to the last couple years where he led the league in receiving, um, the colts offenses weird.
They seem like they want to run the ball and get the ball.
They're running backs.
Almost a little Packer.
Ask where they're trying to get all their running backs involved, you know? And that doesn't play well for people who spent, you know, maybe 1/5 6th round pick on T Y Hilton this year? Um, I don't think the productions there.
I don't think it's gonna be there with Philip Rivers, the quarterback.
So if you know there's a good receiver out on the waiver wire, Um, yeah, I would go a drop to a Hilton if you can get some value coming off the waiver wire, I literally feel the exact same way.
I've compared them to other players like that, too.
We're just, you know, a few years ago they were at the top of their game at the top of the league, but they quickly fell off.
The offense just isn't designed for them to shine anymore.
I mean, the culture, what, three and one.
Now they're finding ways to win, and it's not been involving T y Hilton.
They're running back to O is getting better every single week.
I think Philip Rivers is becoming more and more comfortable.
They got jacked oil back Mohali Cox has been, um, producing.
So all these things equal, you know, less targets and, uh, less production for T y Hilton.
I mean, he's caught exactly three passes each of the last three weeks, and two of those were against horrible, horrible defense's in Minnesota and the new New York Jets.
I mean, you're playing Minnesota and New York, and he only put up a combined, um, 80 yards, zero touchdowns.
So between those two weeks, he didn't even put up 14 total fantasy points.
He's playing Cleveland and Cincinnati who have not been not been to terrible.
They're both, you know, middle of the road against the against the receivers.
Um, this year, I think, Yeah, you can comfortably cut him just because the offense is not designed, uh, to make him shine.
He hasn't really been somebody they've had to rely on and again three catches a week.
I don't want that out of my fantasy out of my, you know, one of my fantasy starters, especially maybe if you got some room, keep him on the bench, maybe because there's always potential for a breakout.
But that's the other thing is like, When are you going to start him.
Which week are you going to start him hoping for that break out when? Most of the time, you know, you're just gonna be disappointed.
So, yeah, T y Hilton, I think is another name that you could get rid of, especially like I said earlier.
If you're one of those teams whose one and 32 and two right now and your team is just not cutting it, maybe you're scoring barely 100 points a week.
Like you're gonna have to start making some changes if you have any hopes of making the fantasy playoffs anyway.
I mean, keep in mind we're only four weeks into the NFL season, but we're almost 50% of the way through most people's fantasy regular season.
So time to start making some moves.
Time to start making some cuts.
Probably not gonna do it for you, um, at any point this season, but especially not over the next upcoming weeks.
So sure, I say, go ahead and get rid of him as well. E.
I totally agree with you guys.
Um, I would drop him for the two receivers he brought up earlier Tee Higgins and Channel.
I just feel like Hilton's a guy who has a very low floor in a given week and doesn't really offer you the chance toe have like a big breakout game.
One thing I will say in his favor, though, is the Colts, like through the first four games, have kind of been in a situation where they've gotten a lead early and could just run the ball all game.
Um, even in that, even in movies one against the Jags, when they lost, they got up like by, like, 20 or 17 points like early on.
And by the time the jack started coming back, it was almost like, Oh, shoot, We gotta throw the ball now And by that time, it was kind of too late.
So I think there's gonna be games where the Colts are gonna need to throw the ball and the injuries to their receivers.
I think t y holding is gonna be very needed and is going to be a go to guy.
But like I'm totally comfortable dropping them.
If there's another guy that you like more out there, Yeah, I agree, I think.
But I think again, that's that's the problem.
It's like, you know, there is going to be that week or maybe even two weeks that t y goes off.
But what weeks are they? You know, which Which teams are they gonna be in that position to throw the ball to? When's it gonna happen? If it hasn't happened at all the first four weeks, Maybe it's not gonna happen to all the first six weeks.
And then all of a sudden we're looking at Week eight, Week nine.
There's only a couple weeks left in the regular fantasy season, and finally t y Hilton goes off for one good game.
I mean, is it worth holding onto a guy for the entire season? If he's gonna give you one good week and likely you're gonna have him on the bench that week anyways, I don't know.
It's a risk reward type thing with T y Hilton, as it always has been.
Besides, for maybe that one or two years with Andrew Luck.
But he's been that same kind of guy.
I think maybe Hollywood Brown is kind of in that same boat right now, to where he's just a guy who it's tough to know when to start, when to start him.
When to not he's obviously he's gonna get his and he's gonna get his touchdowns.
Um, but not on a weekly basis, you know? So it's a very much a guessing game, a confusing game and, as you said, look being confused and having to guess all the time not to strategies that are really often successful in fantasy football.
So maybe Yeah, I'd say, Just like, uh, just like Tanner said, Go out and get one of the guys that we talked about earlier.
Especially like if you could get your hands on T. Higgins.
I think he's He's a much more interest, uh, intricate and much more important, Um, piece of that Cincinnati offense.
And I think he's gonna get looks every week, whereas T.
Y Hilton probably will not.
So I guess that will wrap up our Week five already add and drop show, um, T y Hilton register rostered in 93% of leagues as well.
That one makes sense.
It makes more sense to me than, um, Marvin Jones Jr, but yeah, Like I said, if you're gonna wanna try, if you're gonna try and make a push at the fantasy playoffs.
Um, you're a team that's struggling right now.
You're gonna have to start making some tough decisions.
Start making some cuts.
Don't be afraid.
I mean, might as well might as well try to make something happen.
If you're already on the path to miss your fantasy playoffs, why hold on to guys? Why not try and make something happen, Take a few risks.
That's how I look it anyways.
But I'm also three and one or four.
No, in most of my league.
So I guess I'm talking from a position of, you know, I guess I can't relate, is what I'm saying.
But for those of you out there who are in that in that spot, that's why we do these shows.
And hopefully they help you out.
