If you want to give other people from the sports network, could follow to simply tight in us and also give give under a sports network and follow on Facebook, Twitter, instagram, you name it, It's It's all over all over the Web and, yeah, let's get started with the show before we get into the Week four matchup against the Atlanta Falcons.
Let's talk about the Green Bay Packers Sunday night when against the New Orleans Saints and weak three, and I'll go to use them.
How impressed were you with the Packers win against the New Orleans Saints? I thought it was impressive, and then you and I both kind of talked about that before their game.
Um, that it was a winnable game.
We talked about that on for our Thursday.
Um, it was a wonderful game, especially after watching them play against the Raiders the week before.
It definitely was a winnable game.
I know we both had like, the same scores.
I think it was like 24 to 17 or something like that or 22 17.
I don't remember what it waas um but we both have been losing and at the same time, like if they won the game, I won't really be surprised.
I didn't expect it to be that high scoring of a game, especially since how Drew Brees has played the first few weeks of the season.
I think it still is an impressive win, but I definitely still think there is a level of concern like they let Alvin Kamara.
They let a top five running back put 100 97 scrimmage yards, a career high in the first half alone.
So there definitely is a level of concern and you kind of brought up.
We're talking about Kenny Clarke before we went on the air and yesterday he was practicing like he was gonna play um tonight and it looks like he's going to be playing.
Obviously, Davante Adams is out, which we'll get into this game pretty soon here, um, in a bit, but I think it's an impressive win, but there definitely is still a level of concern.
I know Za'darius Smith is one of those guys that's questionable tonight as well.
Yeah, I definitely say I definitely say it's It's a big win for the Green Bay Packers just because I we look at Yeah, the Saints, they They may have the excuses and say We didn't have our number one receiver.
They didn't have their number one receiver as well, and we still put a 37 spot on them.
And in my opinion, what changed the game was when Za'darius Smith forced a fumble on Taysom Hill that that ultimately changed the game Because we look at it looking from that situation.
I believe we were on Lee.
We were either tied tied at 27 or we were up by three and the Saints were driving the ball down the field.
They put in a apply for Taysom Hill and Za'darius Smith comes up clutch forces the ball out and Green Bay scores a touchdown on the drive and goes up by 10 which essentially you know, put the game out of reach.
So we look at overall.
I'd say it was a good back and forth game, but Sam, you make great points.
The run game, like the kind of stats Alvin Kamara put up on the ground that overall scrimmage Total yards is definitely very concerning.
But we do not have Kenny Clarke.
That game were most likely get have in this game.
So hopefully you know he's gonna help stop this run defense because that's been the thing Sam and I have been discussing about the entire season was, How is this Green Bay Packers rug defense going to change? Because in the NFC championship game, the Niners just ran all over us.
I mean, we're talking.
If Green Bay figured out how to stop the run that game, maybe we could have been in 54 like it's that, like Green Bay has legit everything on their team.
They have a good run game. They have a great quarterback.
They have a good pass.
Defense is just our Achilles heel.
Is that run defense and that run defense has shown this season to be a liability and yeah, yeah, we won against the divisional opponents.
We scored 43 points, 42 points.
But when you watch like the first half of those games, it's like it's like, Oh, my God, like we like We gotta figure out how to stop this run or else it's it's gonna be a long day.
So it's just one of those where you know Green Bay as the season goes on, when they first good teams.
Like when we first Tampa Bay in Week six, when reverse San Francisco week.
Now, even if we worse, when we first in Tennessee Titans late in the season after go up against Derrick Henry, how are we going to stop the run? I think that's gonna be the main.
Focus point on the Green Bay Packers defensive side throughout the whole season was, How can we stop the run? But overall great win for the Packers? Good three and I'll start definitely have a good chance against Atlanta tonight.
And the thing is like when the Packers had Kenny Clarke the first they contain Delton and as my friend like to say yesterday, Double Cook was cooking.
He had himself a game yesterday against the Texans and that really came down to the wire at the end of the game that was touched down by Houston.
They got called back.
Obviously, that's those teams their conversation for another time.
But if Kenny Clarke has back tonight, which it kind of seeing as he was practicing, like as as if he was going to be playing tonight, that'll be huge.
And the fact that we when we had him and we stopped, um, the best running back in the NFC North and Dalvin Cook and we stopped him, I think that's huge.
And, yeah, they have Todd Gurley and I'll get to my point in Todd Gurley because Todd Gurley should not be slept on.
I think Todd Gurley Todd Gurley.
I'll just kind of give my spoiler.
Todd Gurley is my guy to stop.
I think that on the on the Falcons office that the Packers should be more concerned about their passing game because the Falcons passing the Falcons receivers.
I know Ridley and who they are both playing tonight and I think Russell gauges as well.
But they're going it like these air banged up receivers that the Falcons, they're going up against.
I'll get all kind of go a little bit more in depth with that and when we get to that point.
But yeah, it was definitely a good one for the Saints.
And I think if we if we Kenny Clarke back or for the Packers, I'm sorry.
Um, if we get Kenny Clarke back tonight, that'll be big.
Yeah, definitely will be a big impact if Kenny Clarke returns.
Let's let's now focus in on our Week four opponent tonight from Monday Night Football.
The Atlanta Falcons come toe Lambeau Field and play against the Green Bay Packers.
Let's just kind of go with this one time.
I ask you this how how do you think? How do you think the Green Bay Packers are going to tear up against the Atlanta Falcons? No, Christian Kirksey, no almonds are no Davante Adams with the Dairy Smith question.
Well, how do you think Green Bay is gonna fare up this Monday night? You know, when I'm really glad Kayla brought up this game yesterday.
This is most intriguing game because you kind of viewed it as a trap game, and I brought that up in my pod yesterday.
and I brought that up that you were.
You were saying that and I'm not gonna lie to you like I could see that happening.
Look what happened to Philadelphia and like in the game against Philadelphia, like you, I think you mentioned that, like either last up yesterday or a few episodes prior.
As soon as they lost that game, they lost a lot of their mo mentum.
Like you could tell that team and their defense especially, was just not there.
And I think I see this as a game, seeing as the Falcons air definitely one of the laughing stocks of the NFL, right? And now I can see this is a game personally, where the Packers going over confident and I still think they win the game.
I know both of our predictions yesterday were, um, my other podcast for blowout winds.
I'm gonna have a very similar prediction to that.
But I wouldn't be surprised if it does end up being closer because the Packers do come in overconfident.
And you mentioned all these injuries.
Christian Kirksey is on the i R.
So there is. Smith is questionable.
Um, which, if he ends up playing banged up or even somehow, not playing a big night for Sean Gary.
Um and I was gonna say, Oh, Alma's Ardo al Mazar is probably gonna be out for the majority of season.
And Davonte items like we just brought up earlier tonight about earlier today on the episode.
Timothy Adams is out.
And what's crazy to me is when he had turf toe, we all thought it was like, not a serious He'll be back in, like, a game or two, But then it's sidelining for quite a bit.
Yeah, and it kind of seems like it's the same thing now, like he's gone into like, it seems like this injury seems to be a little bit more serious than it actually is.
And I know he tweeted it out that he was out and we brought that up before we went.
We're on the air.
He tweeted like earlier today that he's not playing and he said, Oh, I'm good to go.
But, um, Dr McKenzie, his doctor, I I don't know my body as well as I think I dio, um, place safer, like stay safe for good luck tonight.
Play well tonight, boys and I think it was.
I know it was deleted pretty quick, Um, but I I think this is a game where they come in.
They could come in overconfident.
But I think they win this game.
Yeah, I wanted to percent agree with you as well.
This definitely has has a feeling to be kind of like that week for Philadelphia game game of last year, but I think is different.
I think last year last year when we went up against Philadelphia were just straight up confident.
Just because we had way had a rookie head coach and nobody thought that we'd be any good and we were 30 We were kind of feeling ourselves and, you know, Philadelphia just came in and beat us.
This is a different outcome.
I don't think we're like as much overconfident because I think I think a lot of people in Green Bay, new like this was expected.
Like we're expected to be a team that's going to compete.
This is very different.
We're in Year two were we're expecting too good and you know it's being through, you know, you know, that's like, That's like all right, But like like the words of Kobe Bryant.
Job job, Not finished like we're not.
We're not done yet.
We're not here just to celebrate.
Winning divisions were here to try and bring a Super Bowl back to title Town, where it hasn't been in in almost 10 years.
So this game, I feel like it's definitely different just for the soul. Fact of all the injuries.
You know, when we went up against Philadelphia, you know, like I said earlier, we were just confident as a team.
Black, you know, you know, we're three.
You know, we should easily get these Eagles team. And that backfired.
This one is where, you know, we just have a lot of injuries.
You know, it's kind of one of those, like who's Who's going to step up for us, and you know how Green Bay will therapy against Atlanta? I think it'll be a closer game, you know, If Green Bay was fully healthy, I'd say it's be a blowout win.
But, you know, with all the injuries that Green Bay as I think Atlanta's gonna keep the close, and I think Atlanta's gonna use this game as you know, kind of like they're gonna they're gonna give it their all.
You know, You look at Atlanta there.
Oh, and three they have.
They have veteran guys like Matt Ryan, Julio Jones, Dan Queens on the hot seat.
This might be a game where, you know, we could just see the Atlanta Falcons just go all out and simply say, Look, this is our do or die game, like like, yeah, we're Oh, and three.
And you know, Tampa's three.
Tampa's three and one.
And you know the Saints are, I think two and two Carolinas to and to like, if we get this way could be somewhat on the right path.
And, you know, Atlantis is simply gonna, like, go all out, you know? I mean, we've seen we've seen teams kind of like with their backs, like on the wall that, like, weren't expected to win, but turned out to not Victor.
I mean, look at the game between the Vikings and the Texans.
Both teams were owned 31 of those teams was gonna give it their heart out just to get the first win, and that was Minnesota.
So it's gonna be a team where I'm not going to sleep on them because you know that this is probably gonna be their best game, that they'll play all year because you're like a bachelor against the wall, two weeks in a row, they've had 15 point leads and and they've blown them both.
I mean, you look at Atlanta.
Could be a team that very well could be two in one instead of going three, and they would be looking at their season much differently.
They would be a team where, you know, Hey there, they're competing with Tampa in New Orleans for the top of division, but instead they're only three in the bottom of the division.
So overall, I think it's gonna be a good game.
But, you know, spoiler, I think I also believe that the Green Bay Packers will win as well.
Let's kind of move on to a Green Bay Packers player that we believe will have a good game.
Let's start off with the offensive side, I believe.
Last week I said I said Erin Jones was gonna have a great a great offensive game, and you know, I'm gonna have I'm gonna have that same player again with no Davante Adams, no Alan Lazard.
I think Grieve is gonna really have to rely on Erin Jones Thio get things going.
And, you know, I talked about this with Sam earlier.
You know, before we went on the air, I said, I simply said, This is a game where Erin Jones cannot afford to start off.
You know, some games, some games we can afford.
Erin Jones will start off slow because you know, we'd have Davante Adams.
You utilize Jamal Williams, but and even Al Lazar, too.
But there's no devante animals.
There's no islands are your top guy is Mark has vowed as canceling an You know, As much as I love what NVs has shown, Erin Jones is gonna need to have to step up big for us.
Toe have to have a legitimate chance because we look at Yeah, Atlanta secondary is bad, but they're gonna look at it and they're not gonna fear any Green Bay receivers.
Like if Devante I was playing this game, I think everybody would be locked in on Davante double teaming up.
But with him being as well as Lazar, they could just look at their corners and be like, you know what you know, you gotta worry about NBS.
Let's let's just crowd the box and stop this run game.
So Erin Jones, for me as an offensive side for my offensive player, he's gonna need to have a good game for the Green Bay Packers toe.
Have a great chance to win, and I kind of want to go to use.
And what do you believe we'll have? We'll have a great offensive game for the Green Bay Packers against Atlanta Falcons.
I think this is the game where Mark has Marquis Valdez scamming, really has to show out.
I don't expect the breakout game from him, but especially now that Davante Adams is out and Alma Zardes out indefinitely, probably for the majority of the season.
With that core muscle surgery, this is NBS is time to show that he belongs on this roster.
He belongs on this roster long term.
I know there's multiple, and I was talking about this with my friend yesterday.
There's multiple guys on this roster right now that are up for contracts and players like Kevin King.
Even Corey Linsley, who's really started to make even more of a name for himself thes first few weeks of the season, and that's going to make uh, that's gonna make this offseason a lot harder for Rust Ball and Brian.
And we We know Rust Ball is that is an absolute genius with how he like how he controls or how he how he uses his money wisely.
But I've got NBS and another player that I'm kind of intrigued the watch tonight, and that's a player that's really worked on his receiving skills.
I think he's one of the most.
I think he's a very underrated pass catcher.
I think he's one of the I think he's one of the top pass catchers behind James White.
Um, that's Jamal Williams.
It's a guy that's really been working on his route running.
I was we had a writer from game on Wisconsin on Arpad Hey, actually interviewed Jamal Williams.
And actually, for those of you that don't know what game on Wisconsin is, it's a Packer page.
And every Tuesday they host.
So Jamal Williams show.
Um, and they actually just started this over the summer, and it's really I'm not a part of it, but I follow it a lot and one of the writers is Jimmy Christenson, one of the um, ****ysts, and he does a really nice job he's really earned.
He's really worked his way up in his writing, and I'm really proud to call him like my friend and, um that if you want to go check out the Jamal Williams show.
But back to my point here.
Jamal Williams is another player that I'm intrigued to watch tonight because of all these receivers out, and I'm wondering if we kind of use him or in the passing game.
But my guys MBS because I think this has to be the game where he needs to start showing us that he belongs on this roster long term.
He deserves that extension because I think I talked about this, um, a few weeks ago and during training camp. So they were.
They were interviewing Rogers during training camp about they were taught that someone asked him about NBS and mhm.
Roger said, Ah, lot of it has to do with his confidence, and you can you can tell that Rogers has started to build more trust in NBS.
MPs is the fastest receiver that we have on our team.
There are only two receivers on the Packers roster right now that run under a four or five.
That's NBS and that CQ Brown who, if I'm not mistaken, I think he's still on the I r Um Ah, well, yeah, he's still in the I know the minimum.
You could be on the IRS three weeks, but he's still hurt.
Um, because week one against the bike ing's we we saw when I first saw that his first touchdown catch of the year.
I'm like, Wow, like this guy might be like back.
This might be fun to watch.
Like this guy might be a lot, a lot of fun to watch this year, and I know it was one play, but it was still a promising play.
But then there's other plays throughout that game, where he uses his elite speed to create that separation and the ball just drops right out of his hands and it's right in his hands.
So I think a lot of it, Rogers is right. It's his confidence.
A lot of it goes on inside his head, but this is the time where he needs to step up.
And I think it seemed like the Atlanta Falcons, who have a lot of pressure on them right now, especially Dan Quinn, on the verge of losing his job, if not during the season, for sure, the end of the for sure.
I would hope the end of this season because that team, like an ****yst, said the other day, they need a new culture.
I think they said it last week.
They needed That team needs a new culture, and I think this has to be the time where NBS has to step up, get NBS.
Yeah, definitely a good player you named there.
If I had to Tucson, besides Erin Jones, it would definitely would be and the S just because, you know, you made a lot of great points, especially with all a lot of these players having their contract years.
You know, after this year, you know, if NBS has a solid game, you know, he could throw his name in the hat.
Uh, let's kind of go with another player on the defense of side of the ball.
I'll kind of start off with you, Sam.
Who do you believe for? The Green Bay Packers will have a good game on the defensive side of the ball, so I'm trying not to pig like the same players.
But I think this one only makes sense to, UM, I had J R. Again.
And the reason why is I think the Packers have MAWR.
I think the Packers have better tools to contain the passing game with the Falcons than they do with the run game.
If Kenny Clarke plays tonight, I think Kenny Clarke would be my second my second player.
Thank you for the $10.
Take it, by the way.
I appreciate the tip or we appreciate it.
But I mentioned this before the Falcons air going into this game beat up.
They're going like Kelvin, really, and Julio are expected to play.
I think they are act.
They are active tonight.
They're going into this game beat up.
And I remember a few years ago, the Falcons were starting to question the progression of Matt Ryan to see if they wanted Thio like they like.
He started to show signs of regression and like it's this the 2020 season.
Despite these unprecedented times, it's still like it is still noticeable and I I like what Caleb said yesterday with a fully healthy team.
Russell Gauge With these guys hurt, Russell Gauge has been a really solid player to step up.
Um, on that receiving corps talk earlier.
Yeah, Todd Gurley, Julio Jones, Russell Gauge, Calvin Ridley and you also in Brian Hill in Edo.
Smith Like a fully healthy squad right there, plus the new sign of Hayden Hurst.
That team could be a lethal offense.
Their defense is a bigger part of their problem, Um, despite their offense not being able to stay healthy with their weapons, that they have.
But I have Jair because Jr is an all pro talent.
I know pro football focus.
Rated him is the number one corner.
I think we got a week or two ago.
Um, Jr is all pro talent.
He's only going to continue to get better and coming out of college, he was.
He was a return meant in college and obviously for the state that he is on, like the states that he's on in right now.
With this team as our number one corner as our number one locked down corner, we can't afford to be putting him in the special team slot That's why we have a guy like Tyler Urban that could go out in return passes the guy that's even worked out as a receiver.
But I have a Arabic solely because of the reason that that I stated as we have Mawr talent, in my opinion, to contain the passing game than the run game because we've seen to these past few weeks without County Clark that I run defense suffers immensely, and early in the game two weeks ago against Detroit, it showed I've got you here.
Yeah, definitely good points that were J here.
I'm gonna go with a different player.
I am going to go with Kenny Clarke.
I truly believe Kenny Clarke is going to play this game and I believe Kenny Clarke is gonna have a great game.
All the defense is on the ball just to shut down the run game.
You know, our our weakest link as a team and I think Sam can agree on this is our run defense.
Everything else is perfectly fine.
Our offense is starting to flow fantastically.
I mean, if we have this offense that we had last year, you could have booked.
This is suitable 54.
In my opinion, I don't care if we had a bad run run defense.
If we had this offense last year at the rate that we're scoring, we could have beat the San Francisco 40 Niners in the NFC championship game.
And I and I think that that's the truth right there.
Now do I think we could have won the suitable? You can't.
You can't really say that because, you know, you could always say you could get there.
But you know, Kansas City was a great team and they earned that suitable.
So you can't say like if Green Bay had the offense, they would have won the Super Bowl.
I think they would have made it there.
But you know, who knows what what happened there.
But overall, I think Kenny Clarke is gonna have a great game.
I think he's gonna be our our load run stopper.
You know, he's gonna need to be great, because if it's a situation where Todd Gurley in this run game still has a solid game, where if they run for over 100 plus yards and Kenny Clarke it's still in the game, I'd say that be a problem like that.
That will be a problem we have to address during the bye weekend.
I did hear rumors that Green Bay was going to talkto David Harrison, a k Snacks Harrison, You know, after his visit with the Seahawks, I hope Green Bay gets get snacks because if you have snacks with Kenny Clarke as well as Ah Smith rose on the edge, that's that's a good run stopping defense right there that would instantly help our run defense right away.
But I just think Kenny Clarke, you know, he's been out the last couple of games, and I think now that he's fully healthy, he's going to go all out this week, especially because Greenlee has a bye week next week.
So, you know, I think he is simply gonna, even if it's even if it's a limited amount of snaps, just whenever he is on the field, it's gonna help out run defense.
So whether Green Bay decides to go more conservative and just put him in a limited amount of snaps or just put him in full throttle, I think he's gonna have a good game defensively.
You also make some good points, Sam with John Alexander.
But I just think overall run defense as a whole.
It's gonna need Kenny Clarke, especially to stop Todd Gurley.
Because Todd Gurley has been great this year.
I think he's been a top 10 running back, you know, you know, for so far, this isn't This may not have been the same Todd Gurley where he was, like one of the best in the league, but this is definitely a well researched Todd Gurley where you cannot, where you cannot sleep on him, for sure.
So I love the Kenny Clarke Pickles.
Well, on bond, I said that would really be a really good second option for me if I want to picture here.
And despite having Kenny Clarke on the field, I think the run defense is obviously still a concern.
But when Kenny Clarke was on the field week one, like I mentioned containing Dalvin cook and stopping him, you could tell how much better it is like it's not great.
It definitely could be a lot better, but you could tell the improvement.
You can see the improvement of our run defense, um, with Kenny Clarke on the field, so I think Kenny Clarke's a good pick as well, and we've seen even last week we saw us like a few flashes of kings and Kiki, I think I think Mike Patton is gonna expect that, like a little bit more from Kingsley.
I'm not a huge fan of Tyler Lancaster.
He took a He took a pretty cheap deal.
I think it was less than a million, um, to stay for the year.
Um, and it seems like Mike Patton likes Tyler Lancaster a lot.
It's kind of I mean, we don't really see a whole lot from him.
One of my friends picked him as a surprising cut, which I think it's definitely fair because I mean, seeing us, the contract that he's on, Um, it's We haven't really seen a ton from him.
He's kind of like a big body on the field.
Um, but I mean, I have no problem with him.
I think he's he's there to kind of be that role player and as a fan, as someone as even you yourself is someone who watches that like a pack of like that that run defense.
You want more than that, you want more than someone being just a big body on the field and we we've seen I'm not saying Lancaster is terrible, but we we we need my opinion.
I need to Seymour of Lancaster, which that's which is why I was fine with keeping them at the deal that it waas.
I think it was around.
It was either writing a million.
I know it was like a league minimum, but we've seen flashes of Kingsley, Kiki and without Kenny Clarke in the field.
It shows, obviously, um, but there needs to be other players to step up, and we've seen we've We saw a few flashes from Kingsley Kiki last week against New Orleans, Um, down in Louisiana.
But I mean, with Kenny Clarke back tonight, hopefully that'll be huge.
Yeah, definitely would be huge if F.
Kennedy Clark's able to play, Uh, let's move on to to the other team where you are most worried about player, you know, on the offensive side of the ball first to stop with, I'll kind of name out my player.
I don't be most worried about Todd Gurley.
You know, the reason why I'm most worried about girly is just is just because you know how we're gonna be, you know, as a run defense.
You know, last three weeks, you know, each of the running backs have have gone off for us.
Like, gone over, almost gone over, or at least gone close to 100 yards, you know, each week.
So you know, Todd Gurley is gonna be a player on most concerned with.
He looks much better than he was last year.
Uh, definitely not the same offensive player of the year Todd Gurley, but definitely a more research Todd Gurley.
So I just have Todd Gurley just because if we if we can't contain Todd Gurley, then that's just gonna open up Matt right in the passing game.
So my most worried about player on the offensive side of the ball is Todd Gurley.
I kind of want to hear what you have, Sam, who you have as you're most worried about, player on the on side of the ball.
Yeah, I mean this.
I agree with you there.
I think it's Todd Gurley as well for very similar reasons.
Almost the same reasons why I picked you here because I think the Packers I don't think the Packers have enough pieces, um, to contain two to stop Todd Gurley.
I think they have the talent Thio try to contain him.
But I think the run game, I think we see the run game kind of take advantage of that early.
And we saw we saw teams like that.
We saw Alvin Kamara.
I mean, obviously, Michael Thomas wasn't playing, but we saw teams.
I'll bring up the Lions game because I think that's a better example, Um, because their defense really suffered early.
Without Kenny Clarke on the field and teams tip team, the lines took advantage of that.
Like they knew Kenny Clarke goes out.
They knew Kenny Clarke waas that heart and soul of that run defense.
And when he wasn't on the field, that chemistry just was not there.
And I have talked girly and, like you mentioned people gonna expect him to play like he's back in his prime.
No, absolutely not.
But I think this is the year where he proves that he deserves to be on a team long term.
And we have James on a few a few months ago and we were talking about the Vikings and he brings up an interesting point, and we've talked about the shelf life of running backs.
And obviously, Derrick Henry is off the list because he got his extension.
Um, McCaffrey's off the last Dalvin cook Alvin Kamara.
But like this next, like this free agency class of running backs.
And what do you asked Waas? Could this Could this be the year where this potentially kind of starts to not get rid of the shelf life name of running backs to kind of turn it, turn things around and kind of make people overlook that case because they're running back class free agency running back class? This coming off season is loaded.
Cream Hunt Got the extension.
Actually, Nick Chubb just headed to the I R.
Today, um, Nick Shelves on the list.
Leonard for Nets on that list.
He's only on the He's only on a one year deal in Tampa.
Um, but I think I agree with you.
I think Todd Girl, I think my friend brought up a stat yesterday where his yardage or yards per carry aren't overly impressive, but he's had a strong start.
He really had a strong start to the season and week one here he had a really strong start.
Started to fall off a little bit, but I think I'm still staying on my side.
Um, from the looks from the sounds of your kind of backups information that you kind of gave her points.
Um, it seems like we could both agree that by the end of this season, Todd barely will still be a top 10 running back.
And I still stand by that.
I think people are sleeping on him severely because of his injury issues.
He's a guy to be most concerned with on the offensive offensive side of the ball.
Let's kind of move into ah player that we're gonna be most concerned about on the defense side of the ball.
I'll gonna go to you, Sam.
Who would you be most concerned with? You know, for the Falcons side while on the defense.
So this is we're gonna pick a different player yesterday at the piano, Neil.
And my reasonings, for that is because the Packers don't have a lot of receivers like playing tonight like there's really like MBS is the like, the guy that has to show out, especially now with Monty Adams out and we could see a like a big game from Can O Neill, Ondo Kano.
Neil is this is is he's young and he's this is his.
He's coming off of two straight years of major injuries that have taken him out for the majority of the year, and he's been one of the stars of that Falcons defense for through the first few weeks of this season.
But my pick is going on going on to their defensive line and you picked Erin Jones.
I think the Falcons run defense is the most concerning to me.
I've got Grady Jarrett, Grady Jarrett's coming off of four combined tackles, a sack and two Q B hits against the Bears last week.
And Grady Jared got his well deserved extension just a season or two ago.
And I think he's he's producing really well, and he's, um he is, uh, he's living up to it.
He's really starting to live up to the extension, and I brought up Dean lower yesterday.
Dean Laurie has got to live up to his extension.
Big fan of them, and we didn't We gave him a very reasonable, perfect contract We just have to see more from him to live up to that contract.
Look what happened when we paid Mike Daniels, Mike Daniels.
Mike Daniels got a well deserved contract, but unfortunately, he didn't live up to that.
And I like Dean Lowry, especially for the fact of the status of our run defense.
We need the lower to produce, and we can't afford to lose steam.
Lorry. But I've got Grady Jarrett.
Grady Jarrett, is he? He has the talent to play, um, on the outside these more efficient, I would say on the inside.
But I've got Grady Jarrett.
And because the run defense is one of those got one of those areas of that Falcons defense that is a little bit more concerning to me than others.
I would say Number two is secondary because I say Oliver is a part of their, um, cornerback room.
Desmond Trufant A.
J. Terrell is also on the covert list.
Um, so I mean Quiano Neil's like star of the show right now on their on their secondary core.
But I've got Grady Jared e.
I have to agree with you as well, and I also got greedy Jared as my player that most concerned with just because, you know, Grady Jarrett is the only person in a way that's gonna shut down Erin Jones.
And, you know, if Grady Jared has a great game and he stops Erin Jones, then it's kind of gonna be, you know, how we're gonna move as an offense.
I mean, we don't have Adam's, we don't have those are.
So it's gonna be very hard for us to rely on our passing game.
You know, you're gonna hit some every once in a while, you know, whether it's mvs and, you know, for green based offense, I kind of want to see if they utilize more of the tight ends.
You know, I was very impressed how they utilize their tight ends against the saints.
You know, you saw as Mercedes loses called Big Dog.
You saw the big dog Get up there, get ourselves touchdown.
So Robert Tanyon, do good, make some good catches in.
He even saw Jay Stern Burger step up.
He didn't get a touchdown, but he made three clutch catches a big chunk place.
So you know, and And if the guara comes back and plays this week.
That's gonna add another element for a tight end.
So I want to see more of our tight ends being utilized as an offense.
But back to the greedy Jared Point.
He's the only guy in the way it's gonna stop. Aaron Judge.
You know Erin Jones.
He can have a great game, whatever, whatever day he wants.
I mean, we've seen, you know, Erin Jones be consistently good, you know, all the way.
You through the first four weeks, you know, he's really lived up to the hype.
I mean, last year he went off had, like, 19 total touchdowns, most of it rushing.
I think had, like, 16 rushing touchdowns, like three like three in the air.
You know, so so far so far, he's playing good and you know he's making a case for himself on possibly getting a contract extension.
And, you know, I I obviously have Erin Jones with my offensive guy for the Green Bay Packers, but the one guy that has a chance to stop Aaron Jones is Grady Jarrett.
If the Atlanta Falcons want any chance in this game, great jury is gonna need to step up big and shut down Erin Jones.
Or else it's gonna be a long day for this Falcons defense.
It'll be a great day for the Packers offense as a whole, so I have to agree with you.
Sam might also have Grady Jarrett.
Let's move on to our honest opinion on if the Green Bay Packers will win or lose.
So I'll go to you. Sam.
Do you honestly believe that the Green Bay Packers could win this Monday night game against the Atlanta Falcons? Yes, I Before I give my reasonings, I would like to make two points.
One your point on tight ends.
We talked about Jay Stern Burger having a really rough few weeks about definitely, yeah, and Detroit was act definitely like one of the players that really stood out to me.
Waas the ball catch that one was right in his hands like that would have been a huge game, if not pretty darn close to a touchdown.
Um, and he really had a bounce back game.
And my second point is, if we Seymour of the passing game from Jamal Williams.
Um, because we didn't see anything of A J.
Dillan last week, and two weeks ago we I mean throughout the first week one we saw, like, two or three plays, and I, no matter floor after that game, wanted to.
He wanted to get him more involved.
But could we see a J.
Dillan get a little bit more? Carry is not immensely, but I'm wondering if like, that's one player rookie specifically, that I'm really watching on that offense tonight to see if they kind of start to utilize them a little bit more.
Because we know that Jamal Williams, um, has really utilize has really worked on his, um, his route running.
And that's the one thing that his his trainer, Luke Neil, pointed out that he like.
That's the one thing that they've really worked on This off season is his route running skills, but so I'm really excited to watch to see if a J Dillan how much they use a J Dillan tonight in the offense.
But back to your point, I think they win and my score prediction.
I don't wanna have two different score predictions, so I'm gonna keep it the same.
I have the Packers winning 38 to 17 but I can also see this being a trap being where it's closer than usual.
But I have the I haven't being, um, I think the Packers went 38 to 17.
That's that's definitely a good prediction there.
I have a Green Bay Packers.
Winning this game is well, I honestly feel like this is a must win game, you know? I mean, I stated it last week when we went up against New Orleans because it would have been very hard, you know, being too and one going into against Atlanta.
And if we do lose that game, that's two and 25 weekend in Tampa That could very well could easily be two and three, and then it's a different season.
But got the win against the one of three.
No, but I still think it's a must win game because is your You go to a bye week and you first Tampa Bay and you're three and two.
That's that's a whole different outcome, especially because the Chicago Bears air right behind us like the Chicago Bears.
Obviously, the Colts got a huge win for us, definitely helped out the Green Bay Packers for the for the division now we've got to make him pay.
This is a game where we have to get one up on the Bears.
You know, if we win this game and we're for no entering our bye week in Chicago being three and one, that is a huge step for us and making a legitimate chance at another back to back division titles.
So I have the Green Bay Packers winning.
I don't think it will be a blowout.
I do still think they'll school with 35 plus points just because the secondary is bad.
So I'll stick with your 38 Sam.
But I got the Falcons getting getting 31.
I think it's gonna be a 38 31 game.
Last time these two teams played at Lambeau Field, it was Week 14 of 2018.
But I think I have a good feeling.
It's gonna be kind of like when we first Atlanta in 2014 where it's just a back and forth game where both teams soul scored 40 plus points.
I think it was a feeling to be that kind of game, you know? I mean, I came in here during the season where simply If if the Vontae I was wasn't hurt, we were going to do anything.
And, you know, through four games last year he was out.
We went four and there were no offense was just fine so far without Davante Adams, we've been just fine.
When he went out of that game against Detroit, he scored 42 points.
He scored 37 points without him.
And when we versed in New Orleans Saints.
So I feel very confident that we we could run the score up.
And, you know, that's something I haven't I haven't had confidence in in a long time, you know? I mean, this, like, this offense kind of reminds me of 2014.
You know, when we could just run, run the score up against anybody.
You know, we haven't seen this this good oven offense, you know, in six years.
You know, in years past, even in the final two years of we have Mike McCarthy, our offense just seem very stagnant.
You know, we would just be happy if we got, like, 25 points, you know? And now and even last year, you know, even last year offense, we'd be good one half of that. Another half.
You know, there really wasn't a consistent game that we played overall as an offense, and so far through these first three games, we're us as an offense.
We're like we're so good as an offense were like, There are some scams where we could have hung 50.
We could have hung 50 on the Vikings and 50 on the lines if we wanted to.
Like if we didn't have slow starts in those first quarters, you could have guaranteed that they would have been a 50 spot.
And, you know, that's good as an offense.
When and you know, I had a feeling this what happened in year two under the Flirt? You know, the first year I expected a little bit of a slow start because, you know, you look at Aaron Rodgers.
He needed, uh, you had a new coach new offensive scheme, and so far in Year two, it has just been collected.
I mean, we have scored 35 plus points for three straight weeks.
I think they'll make it four straight weeks.
I think the Green Bay Packers will win this game before no heading into the bye week final scoring being 38 toe 31 and and yeah, overall, I think I think it's gonna be it's gonna be a great It's gonna be a great Monday night game, you know? Obviously, as we all know, there's a doubleheader on Monday night, we got the Chiefs Patriots game on CBS was a little earlier, and the Packers Falcons game got flexed up a little well, further back in time.
But overall, it's gonna be a great game toe watch.
Final thing that I want.
Thio add Sam What? What are you kind of most looking forward to? You know, I know you kind of referred to like a J Dillan being utilized more, but is there anything else you want? Like, you're kind of like looking forward to seeing in this game before we enter our by, Um, I guess.
What kind of piggyback off Jamal Williams again, to see how much more he's utilized in the passing game with all our receivers hurt right now, because I know we've seen we've seen there's Malik Taylor.
Um, there's Darius Shepherd.
There's Reggie Bagel thin on the practice squad.
Robert Foster on the practice squad.
I mean, there's there's guys that could be brought up, but there's talent there.
After the draft, good expressed a lot of faith in Malik Taylor.
Um uh, yeah, I think it was Malik Taylor.
No, I don't know.
He expressed maybe was Lili Taylor of his dairy shepherd.
Um, it was that was like, one of the reasons that he, you know, did not draft the wide receiver in the draft.
I'm still a firm believer that they should have draft someone.
They should have drafted at least one.
I expected at least one early in one later.
But the fact that they drafted it, nothing.
Um, it's really hurting us now and like, we're you could really see it.
And I think they would have benefited from drafting at least one.
But I mean, that's another conversation.
That's a conversation for another time.
But, um, for another player, I'm really intrigued to see how much Jamal Williams is utilized in the passing game.
Seeing is, that's the thing.
Um, he's skilled that he's kind of worked on throughout the offseason because I think he is one of the best pass catchers, Um, a za running back in the NFL, I think the best ones.
I'm not saying this guy is the best, but I think to read Cohen's also another very underrated pass catcher, a za running back.
But I think Jamal Williams, if Jamal Williams can really produce really well, a lot better.
Even better, I should say that he did last year.
That would be huge for us.
Even Tyler Ervin worked out as a receiver in training camp to, So I'm interested to see if there, if we see any, like, kind of surprising names utilized more than we thought in the passing game.
Yeah, I definitely be interested to see what what happens there as well.
If I had to pick another thing to kind of watch out for I say this before, I want to see how how are tight ends will be utilized.
You know, I feel like this could be a game where, you know we don't normally run to tight end sets, but I wouldn't be surprised if we utilize a lot of too tight end sets because we don't have a lot of receivers right now.
I mean, we look at our main two guys air out.
I mean, MVS Yeah, he's shown flashes, but he's also been a little inconsistent with his drops.
You know, I've stated before, and I remember watching that week one Vikings game.
He makes a fantastic 45 yard touchdown catch where Rogers do it perfectly to him, and then, like the couple plays later, he drops a wide open 36.
So it's one of those where if he can stay consistent, great.
But I want to see how our Titans were utilized.
I loved how are Titans were used against the Saints.
You know, Definitely a good mix of Mercedes Lewis, Robert Tanya, Jay Stern, Burger.
Guara is active and able to play because the guara adds a huge effect when it comes to blocking.
I mean, I think Sam and I loved that block that he had when he vs Vikings took out two Vikings players which hopefuls are getting first down.
I think we got touch on that drive, so definitely going to be very interesting to see how how they will utilize their tight ends.
And overall, you know, I'm excited to watch this game.
You know, we have our bye week next week.
So this is kind of a game where, you know, this is where you know, how are we going to shape up? You know, we have a early season by week, so, you know, hopefully are guys that are hurt.
You know, they can get healthy right away.
You know, Hopefully, Davante Adams will be ready to go.
Bye Week six when we put the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, which I believe he will.
And let's see how we continue this season and that my friends will conclude today's stream of the title town show.

I think that will give us a lot of momentum going into the bye week.
You kind of alluded Thio.
Um there been playing the Niners.
And after yesterday's game, they look beautiful, but at the same time, by the time that season comes around, they're probably gonna have all these guys fully healthy.
George Kittle played well coming off of that injury sidelining him for the first few weeks of the season.
You'll probably have Jimmy Garoppolo back.
Um, you'll have really mus**** back, but, um, yeah.
I mean, if we can win this week pretty big.
