Everyone. Teddy Solomon here with guns insiders.
And we've been talking a lot about schedules as schedules come out out of conference schedule, specifically other than us.
We talked about there in conference schedule.
Uh, but I want to talk about another team's out of conference schedule will be getting to the end conference schedules before the season begins.
But Gonzaga We gotta talk about the Gonzaga Bulldogs, the top team in WCC, a national powerhouse, and tends to be a top five team in and see deployed basketball.
So first I want to talk just in a broader sense about Gonzaga about their team this season, they lost Josh Perkins, Gino Crandall, Zack Norvell, Brandon Clark, Murray Hachi, Maura.
Losing those five players is critical.
I mean, those are five guys that can make up a college basketball All Star team.
They all a professional careers ahead of them and that that's big for Gonzaga.
I am less high on Gonzaga this year than most people are.
I think the Gonzaga could, I think, that will make them see double its argument.
I think that could be a rank team, Uh, but I don't think they're gonna be that good.
I know they had a phenomenal recruiting class.
I know they bring back guys like Killian Tilly, but I'm not so sold on them.
And I'm not even convinced that they're gonna win the WCC this season with strong teams like St Mary's and peppered I'm right behind them in the conference.
So began with their out of conference schedule.
Let's look at what what is known right now, so it's not an official out of conference schedule.
This is just what I confined from zags goo dot com.
They're combining all the, uh, all the publicly available knowledge that's out to make kind of a tentative schedule, I would say so.
The first game that we know about is against Texas A and M on November 5th.
Do you Texas A and M? Obviously a massive program, Uh, and they've been able to achieve great things with that program at a time.
Uh, and I expect them to be very good, especially with the whole coaching situation this year.
I think they're gonna be good.
I don't think they're gonna be great.
That will be a chance to show that Gonzaga can be the power program, like Texas.
And I'm just to start out the season right there.
So Texas A and M that will be a big win for Gonzaga if they can pull that one out on the road.
Uh, UT Arlington is gonna be the next game.
UT Arlington can be a decent team.
I don't expect them to be very good UT Arlington and Southern Mississippi that those two games back to back those were not gonna be, uh there's not gonna be too much of a challenge for Gonzaga, really? And we won't know what.
We won't know that much about how Gonzaga is gonna fare the rest of the season from those two games, But we will know a little bit from that word game at Texas and and there will be a couple of games before that that we just don't know about yet.
So the game against Southern Mississippi Gonzaga.
If they win that or if they lose, they'll be playing winner or loser between Organ and Seton Hall, which will be interesting.
These organ has a pretty good team, I think.
A top three in the Pac 12 level team and then Seton Hall, of course, a very good team out of the Big East.
They were good last season.
I expect them to be pretty good this season as well.
So, uh, that will be interesting.
That will be in the Bahamas at the battle for Atlantis.
So then we've got, uh, gets even more interesting in the battle for Atlantis.
Assuming Gonzaga makes it past Organ or Seton Hall, or even if they don't, they're four teams that they could be playing Alabama, Iowa State, Michigan or North Carolina.
I expect them to get a match up against Michigan or North Carolina in that game, And that will be where we see if Gonzaga's for real.
If Gonzaga is a Top 10 team like they've been in past years, and we'll see if Gonzaga actually is another national title contender.
I don't think they are, but we'll have to see what happens there.
I think they'll get a shot at either Michigan or North Carolina.
Then December 4th, Texas Southern Texas Southern was an interesting team this past season.
They were able to pull off some weird upsets.
They beat Baylor.
I believe they beat Oregon as well Uh, and they were really good at times, like really, really good so they can.
They can be inconsistent and become super good, so that will be a tough game.
But it's gonna be in Spokane.
It's at its actions.
I guess it shouldn't be a huge challenge.
Next, we got the game at Washington.
We saw Washington give Gonzaga close game this past season.
It was a two point game is a little bit shocking to me, and I think Washington could take that game, given that is, at Washington and after that game.
We've got another tough game for Gonzaga, and I think one that they're gonna lose its at Arizona.
Arizona also gave Gonzaga tough game this past season.
I believe they led by close to double digits at one point in that game, and Arizona is gonna be a lot better this year.
They're my Pac 12 favorite, and I think they're gonna take down Gonzaga in Tucson on December 14th when that game is scheduled.
We got December 18th North Carolina U N.
C coming to Spokane, so that could be their second shot in North Carolina.
This is another game where we'll really see what Gonzaga's made of.
We have a lot of these road game at Arizona for sure will tell us the games and the Bahamas will tell us the road game at Texas A and M, And this game against North Carolina will show us where Gonzaga is looking, uh, going into in conference schedule on getting closer to the tournament in the postseason.
Then we got one final game scheduled for now.
Eastern Washington on December 21st Eastern Washington.
I've seen them a lot playing us seven years passed.
They're never very good, and I don't expect them to be a big challenge playing on the road and Spokane.
So that's all I've got for you guys right now.
I'm Teddy Solomon with dons inside.
