I have no idea why this takes so long.
Okay, here we go.
Happy Wednesday evening waves processed.
Injury reports filling up.
Let's talk Family Football Week for rankings As of now, I mean, it seems like Patrick Steelers, Tennessee Titans.
We're going to be played on Monday night.
Barring another positive injury case, I suppose there's another positive.
We get special Tuesday if there's an additional one.
After that, I would assume that game gets pushed down the road.
But right now, I'm playing it as double Monday night games, which I'm excited about from a. T.
F s perspective for you to Luke and Trevor joining me.
Are you guys expecting it to be a Monday night game? And if so, does that really impact anything you guys think from a fantasy perspective.
Whatever you could start, I don't think it really impacts too much.
Obviously, it depends where the game is played, the weather in that, uh, in that stadium, if that can affect anything.
But for the most part, I don't think you know the day itself is going to affect too much, given much needed extra day because of you know, being away from the facilities, brother, and that not too much.
I wouldn't expect much to happen to my team, at least, um, you know, I think we we gotta start talking more when it gets pushed back to Tuesday to Thursday if, you know, another case comes out.
But as of now, I don't see any major repercussions from them doubling up on Monday Night football again.
If the game is played this week, I don't care.
I think we talked a little bit yesterday.
If this turns out where they postpone the game, they forced the Steelers and Titans to use their bye week in week four.
That makes me want to sell their Kendari and James Connor as soon as possible.
I just don't trust either of those two running backs, both Bell cow guys, both guys who have had injury history.
I don't trust them to play 13 weeks in a row and lasted to be completely honest.
But you know, that's another conversation for another day.
We'll figure it out.
I would assume you get a lot more clarity by the end of tomorrow.
Uh, knock on what I suppose, but let's let's dive into the week for fantasy rankings.
We conserve quarterbacks here as we always do.
We'll take a trip through each ones, go over top five than any notables and who I guess I agree and disagree on with the industry.
And who thes to disagree with me on but first one.
Well, Mark Jackson obviously looked terrible last week against the Chiefs.
I have him at number one against Washington.
No Chase Young and Lamar Jackson and the Ravens are now angry, which makes me want to start him as much as possible.
And the number two Russell Wilson at Miami.
Number three Deck Prescott versus the Browns.
Patrick Mahomes versus the Patriots and then Kyler Murray at number five at Carolina.
What do you think of that Top five? Luke, Is there any big disagreements? Are you with that? Um, no, I don't think so.
At least you know, at least top five.
I feel like we've been talking about him every week.
Is the top five.
I mean, maybe you throw Aaron Rodgers top five, but I don't know if they're gonna rely on their run game.
It just you know, it plays against the number one or the number 32 defense against passing quarterbacks.
They're not very good defensively.
And Rogers has been on his big f u two or to the league.
Um, I would imagine be another big week for Aaron Rodgers this week.
But other than that, you know, those Those are the top six quarterbacks for fantasy right now.
And I don't see much discrepancy between those six.
I mean, you look at the top eight of your list, and all of them have pretty good matchups.
It's tough to narrow it down to five.
You could make a case for a lot of guys, but, um, you know, just from what we've seen throughout the season, these probably are the top five guys.
Um, like Luke said, you know, you don't know what to expect from Rogers, so I think it's pretty good.
It Rogers in the top five is definitely interesting.
I It's another thing that we talked about yesterday.
I'm looking at the injury report for the other team to base value on this team.
Um, if Julio Jones is in.
It makes me love Aaron Rodgers that much more.
Just because I know Julio Jones will kill the Packers, as he always does if Julio Jones is playing.
I have met Ryan at number nine right now, and it would be tempting to move him up ahead of even to Shawn Watson.
And I would talk about moving him ahead of Josh Allen, who has been nothing short of terrific for fantasy.
Obviously, so far.
Any other notables? I guess quarterback is pretty Sentence Stone right now, I guess person once, who's been terrible.
I have him a 24.
Sad as that is at San Francisco.
I have Ryan Tannehill at 21.
Obviously, we don't know what's going out with that game.
That could be a spy our and move him down against the Steelers defense.
It's obviously terrific anyways, but in terms of in comparison to the industry, I'm pretty close to everybody.
Nick Foles is the only one that comes up.
I am four spots ahead of consensus on Nick Foles at 23 against the Indianapolis Colts.
Obviously, he faces his former head coach or his former offensive coordinator, now head coach of the Indianapolis Colts.
I was listening to Matt Hasselbeck talk a little bit today.
He knows both of these guys quite a bit.
And he thinks this is one of those situations where Nick Foles actually plays better because he's playing his former head coach.
At first, I was a little bit afraid because, you know, if anyone knows how to beat Nick Foles and knows the strengths and weaknesses, it would be Frank Reich.
But I will lean on Matt Hassle back right now, and it makes sense because Falls isn't like a crazy, sporadic type of guy.
Hey, will probably be inspired, whereas ah, hassle back mentioned Red Fire playing his first game against Mike Holmgren back when Holmgren moved to Seattle are sucked.
And obviously we both not both.
We all three have experienced knowing that as Packer fans, Um, but I guess, Luke, what's your thoughts on Nick Foles facing his former coach and a cold Stevens? A has looked pretty good so far.
Yeah, I think I'm or interested in that.
The defense has looked good so far than the facing the former coach.
Um, it's been a while.
I feel like that Nick Foles and friend Greg, We're together.
Um, so I don't I don't know if you know anything.
I'm sure it's stuff has changed since then in Nick Foles play.
You know he's coming off that injury last season, but I think the matchup really does set Nick Foles down toe.
You know, the low twenties there for the rankings? Um, he's a better quarterback.
He looked good when you're playing last week, but I don't see how you can rank him any higher than you know, 20 at the minimum, just based off the courts.
Have enough a good defense so far this season.
Yeah, I would agree, and he looked good against the Falcons, and I think he is better than true Brisky.
But again, it is the Falcons.
Um, if anybody knows how to give up quarterback play, it's the Falcons.
So I think the good slot, I think going much he he can, you know, place much higher.
Um, but I think 23 is a good place to rank them because we just don't know we're going to see and watching that game.
I was watching that game pretty closely.
Fulls had a lot of plays that we're lucky to be completely honest place that could have been picked off plays that could have been, you know, that the wide receiver made him look better.
So I think he's solid moving forward, and I think he does help this offense overall.
But, yeah, I'm not going to go crazy for Nick Foles by any means any other quarterbacks to touch on before we jump into other positions here that are a little bit more interesting.
Um, I think it will be interesting to see how Nick Mullins does.
Hey, played a bad Giants team.
I mean, this team is borderline pathetic at this point, Um, and he plays a Philly team that's down in the dumps.
Are they better than the Giants? Yes.
Um, but his play might depend on once, too, if once can have a decent game.
That might help him game script wise, but he's actually looked pretty decent in the reps he's had, so we used to see where he where he ends up.
He's listed 27th now, Um, I definitely don't think he's top five worthy, but he could be one of those guys that surprises people again.
This week in England has been good even before this season.
He's looked good pretty much any time he's played, Uh, and he gets George Kittle back this week, which is certainly a big help.
It's at least somebody worthwhile to throw to.
Other than a yuk, Sununu hasn't panned out.
I guess the Patriots were right to cut him.
Maybe I'm overreacting a little bit too early, but is not look good at all.
Let's move on to running backs here.
I'm going to be using half PPR rankings if you go to 40 sports or you conflict between half PPR and full PPR.
But number one running back this week is Alvin Kamara at the Detroit Lions.
Zeke Elliot versus the Browns. Number three.
Dalvin Cook at Houston.
Number four Jonathan Taylor at Chicago.
Number five Aaron Jones at home, Monday Night Football versus the Atlanta Falcons.
Uh, Trevor, what do you think of that Top five? I think the top three is really good.
Um, I would switch Jones and Taylor.
Um, just because the Atlanta defense is very bad if the Packers just get a couple stops.
This could get out of hand quickly.
Um, in Chicago has a is a defense that's definitely better in Atlanta.
Um, but obviously, game scripturally somethingto watching that game.
Obviously, if indeed goes up big, he'll be running a lot.
But personally, I'd go Jones fourth, but, I mean, it's tough, and it depends on a lot of factors that we're just gonna have to wait to see it. Game time.
I'll take the flip side on.
You hear that? Um, Jonathan Taylor for I kind of like because I feel like, um him he is gonna be like, he's taking over Marlon Mack.
I don't think I don't know how much more Marlon Mack is gonna be on the Colts anymore after this year, because I think they're just gonna keep running Jonathan Taylor just to see what he has.
Just keep him going.
I think he's, you know, especially with ah, Philip Rivers led offense.
Um, I think they're gonna play a lot of it off of the play action of Jonathan Taylor.
And if you can be, you know that Bell College it was in college, then I don't see why any reason why Indianapolis goes away from him and then being young, too, and a rookie.
And I still think that they're going to keep giving the ball, see what you can do.
See how long you can last for a game. Thio.
See, you know what his career might shape out to be.
So I mean, you're right that Atlanta defense sucks and Erin Jones could get a lot of running time.
That Z only thing.
I see what Jonathan Taylor that could put him ahead of Aaron Jones.
The way I thought about Erin Jones this week, and strangely enough, I think I might be too high on him for the way I think this might play out the strength of this Atlanta defense.
I think it's the run defense.
I think they're actually not too bad Secondary, obviously among the worst, possibly the worst in the league.
So if the game is competitive and the Packers need to pass a lot, let's just say I think Jamal Williams gets more snaps than a typical game.
He's the better pass catcher.
He is just as good, if not better and pass protection and then if it gets out of hand, then, obviously, the Packers were able thing on the run.
We know that the Packers don't want to run Erin Jones to the ground.
They're kind of giving him a pitch count. Almost.
So maybe other guys like Urban show up and take some carries.
So I think Erin Jones is in a weird spot this week.
I do think he's matchup proof.
I think this Green Bay offensive line I mean, through three weeks, they've been the best run blocking offensive line already, and I don't think Atlanta's going to shut them down by any means.
But they held Elliott under 100 yards.
They look pretty good last week against the Bears.
If they're going to stop anything, obviously, they're going to try to stop the run first.
Well, so that's my only thought.
And that is no hate towards Aaron Jones this week.
He's still top five for me.
Who's This is before I talk about where I'm different, I guess Carlos Hyde.
I currently have them at 20.
I guess Chris Carson's practicing today, so I mean, if Chris Carson suits up, I assume he's not going to be 100%.
But it makes Carlos Hyde unplayable to me, and I would probably put Carson around 25 to 30 for me.
Um, that's just annoying spot or the other running back injuries we have.
Oh, I'll just talk about what? I'm different than I could get into it.
Right now, I'm four spots higher.
He's not practicing today.
I think he's gonna be fine.
That's going to change.
Either everybody else is gonna come up on him or I'm gonna have to move him down.
I currently have Jeff Wilson at 25 which is five spots higher than consensus.
I think everyone is assuming the same type of thing with the injury situation, but it is not as high on him. I don't know.
Um DeAndre Swift.
I have it 34 which I didn't think it was too high, but apparently it is.
I am four spots higher.
So James went, I have him at 37.
That's 20 skate spots higher.
Everyone else is gonna come up a soon as he's active.
He returned to practice today.
Damian Harris returned to practice today off of ir I texted someone close to James.
Wait, and it does sound like he's gonna give it a go.
Um, you know, I would assume this is the way I'm thinking it.
I would assume he comes out and has possibly a career game, like, you know, they're going to try to get him in the end zone, you know, he's going to ball out.
So I guess if you guys hear James White is active this week, Luke, you can start.
Is he flex territory for you or is he not there? Because of all the question marks? Um, I almost think that he has to be flex territory against, um, you know, an average to above average Chief's defense.
I think that the Patriots have a lot that they can work with on offense right now.
If James White is back, you know they can hit him out of the backfield.
They could run Cam Newton.
They can at all open over the middle.
They can throw deep to nuclear.
There's a lot to do there, and I don't necessarily think that Kansas City is game planning for James White because he's been, you know, the last couple weeks, eso especially.
You know, I know a lot of professional athletes take like their personal feelings into games and tend to, you know, have great games after that.
So I don't know if that's a calling for James White, you know, like you said to have a career day.
So I would, you know, this might be a gamble for me, but I would put James way.
If I had him this week, I think I would I would put him at the flux to He's just so tough to game plan against because he could do so much when he played Can City a couple years ago.
I mean, he is acting is good.
I mean, he can, you know, do gadget plays.
He can, you know, be a decoy.
He can do a lot of things pass catching out the back field.
I mean, we've seen him in the Super Bowl.
He can do that very well.
And I think he's an underrated Russia running back to, you know, on the ground, um, Kansas City had they have a better defense, I think, than the Las Vegas.
Um, but still, I think he could just do so much.
He's tough to really contain and Mike Luke said about his feelings coming into the game and bringing them oceans.
And, yeah, I I can definitely see Mazza Flex play Looking at his last few games against Kansas City.
This goes back to 2017.
I have four games here.
He has ran for 33 23 39 38 six carries or more in each game and then 27 49 53 30 for receiving yards, 5453 for receptions.
So he's been involved.
I was talking about Rex Burkhead yesterday about how this is a Rexburg had game.
If White was out because, Chief, we're gonna pass, probably get up.
Patriots can just lean on the run to catch up.
So now if James Weitzen I would assume he is.
It's plugged right into the normal James White role, probably for at least three quarters and has a good game.
And not only do athletes a lot of times, you know, step up in adversity and stuff like that, but this is a team that very, very clearly loves James White.
We saw both of the weeks he was out every big performance.
They're saying this is for 28 stuff like that.
Obviously, he was a massive part of the Super Bowl.
Multiple Super Bowls.
Uh, McDaniels loves them.
They're going to design stuff for him.
Like if he's active and he's playing like it sounds like he's going to be, there's they're gonna do something special.
I would assume, if that's the I'm sorry.
No, you're good.
If that's the case where he's playing, you don't even touch Rex Burkhead, then, right? No.
Don't touch Rex Burkhead.
I'm interested to see if they make Damien here. It's active.
I don't know why they would, but maybe they do.
That makes Rexburg had even less exciting to me.
It's going to be fun to see where everybody rinks Rex Burkhead this week, though, because everyone's gonna overran.
Come and he's not gonna get a touch, which is great.
Um, any other nobody else I'm higher on.
I have Mike Davis, five spots under the consensus.
I haven't at 23 people really like him.
I guess I have Darryl Henderson a 28th, five spots lower.
I've Myles Gaskin, which hurts me because we even this is a Myles Gaskin Pro Show.
Every week I haven't had 31.
That's four spots lower.
I just don't know where I can move them.
Hired and it goes, comes down.
Touchdowns, I guess.
Again to Latavius.
Murray at four spots lower.
Seven spots lower.
Rex Burkhead to the point we were talking about before.
I have him 13 spots lower.
And then Devante Freeman, which is an interesting one to talk about.
I guess I have devante Freeman it 50 at six spots.
Lower the consensus.
Trevor, do you think Devante Freeman sees a larger role this week? Is he even on your radar? In terms of someone you wanna have on your bench? What's your thoughts on Friedman? Um, maybe a guy on the bench.
Um, it's just tough, you know, for for redraft leagues.
You know, you're not gonna want to touch him relief unless he goes to a new team and for, you know, for for keeper leagues.
I mean, you're not gonna want to touch him, because Barkley will be back.
Um, so he's not a guy.
You know, one of those guys, every once in a while where Hey, he's the back next year. So at least rostrum.
And some of these teams, um, dolphins of line isn't good, uh, to claim the Rams.
And I just look at the guys above him right now, and I see guys that are going to get touches.
I know we're going to get touches and I think will be more productive and can be used in more ways.
Um, not to mention Devante Freeman legs to get injured a lot.
Um, so he's a guy.
Maybe in super deep leagues.
Send it form rostrum.
Um, but outside of that, I don't really see a need personally.
Yeah, I agree with you. Deep leagues.
Take a look at him, put him on your bench.
Maybe some comes out of them, but I still think Davante free.
Even behind that offensive line is not a recipe for success.
You know, I think when they picked him up, everyone's like, Oh, we got a big name.
Replace you. Say Kwan Barkley is gonna be safe on Barkley.
And that's just not the case.
Could say Kwan Barkley is on a such different level than Devante Freeman.
So I mean, I, you know, people rushed in all my leads to pick up Devante Freeman, first off the waiver wire.
So I didn't even get the chance to look at him.
And I think I'm happy that I didn't get a chance to look at him.
So I didn't second guess myself there.
Game day, fax in the chat has a question about his flex and full PPR.
Would you guys rather play David Montgomery or Rob Gronkowski after you know, show out week? I guess you could say his first week truly back in the NFL, it seems like, uh, Luke, would you rather play the tight end or the running back if you had the choice this week? Um, who did Chicago play this week? Courts.
So I think I'm still going with David Montgomery here just because I feel like I know more what I'm going to get out of them, then Rob Gronkowski.
You know, Rob Gronkowski's put up what two points in the first week in the first two weeks and then come back and put up eight or 10 points.
Whatever was I mean tight end.
I feel like is such a hit or miss position that it's hard to read.
It's hard to tell what who's going to do What? Um, The only thing I could see for Gronk doing good is that I believe Chris Godwin's doleful this week think is fully out already.
Oh, is he okay? So, I mean, the full people are is where I'm you know, leading thats the way that way.
But I think I'm still going to Montgomery just because I know you know I know he's gonna get carries.
I know Chicago wants to get David Mahon coming to the ball, and I don't know if Tampa Bay wants to get Gronk the ball or use him as a blocker for whoever running who's ever running the ball that week.
Yeah, I would agree, and and who knows? I mean, we haven't really seen a seen a whole lot out of Nick Foles on the Bears.
Maybe he's a guy who likes passing to the Montgomery, and that'll help.
Um, but this just feels like a Mike Evans type game again.
We saw what happened. The first game of God.
We went to him a lot, only got four targets last week, Um, and against their playing the Chargers Chargers have it.
Decent defense, Um, obviously hard to stop Gronk.
But I I gotta lean like you said Luke.
I gotta leave Montgomery because we know we're going to get out.
At the very least, he's got a decent floor and to the point about the charters defense.
Obviously, their main strength is coming off the edge within Graham.
Or knowing comes out now, isn't he? Um, you might be out.
Let's just say he's out.
They sell Joey Bosa in the past, which is still going to be good without Ingram.
I think they may need to use wrapped around Rob Gronkowski cheese to block a little bit more.
Or at least any tight end. Maybe Cameron.
Great great toe pass, block.
A little bit more to keep Brady upright, Um, and then talking about another injury.
Tariq Owens out for the year.
That's only going to benefit David Montgomery.
Obviously, Cohen saw reduced snaps because he left the game hurt, but Montgomery ran 14 routes. Samos Cohen.
Last week, Montgomery played about 54% of the snaps.
I would assume that goes up to at minimum 60% with Ryan.
All I was assumed you know, pick some stuff up.
But Montgomery is the clear top talent in that backfield now.
And against the Colts culture, a good defense.
But maybe especially, You know, if you talk about how offenses like to set things up, we saw what the Bears did last week.
They set things up with Jimmy Graham.
So Jimmy Graham now is a very clear red zone threat.
People are going to think they're gonna go to him.
They may fake to him, and it's Ah, David Montgomery Touchdown.
You know, the little shuffle pass or give him the ball.
Um, this could be a week where they play off of Jimmy Graham success last week to get Montgomery and easy golden touch down here.
I I just looked up here.
Melvin Ingram is on ir ir.
That's why I was thinking That sucks.
Okay, um, so much for me thinking that the charges were gonna upset buccaneers this week.
Uh, any other running backs of note that you guys would like to talk about, um, million touchdowns for Montgomery? That's right.
And by the way, we're talking about the snap counts for these running backs.
I dropped a link in the chat to Stats page on Fleury Sports or breaking down the NFL Running backs snaps.
Usage routes ran from week three.
Definitely a good tool.
The look up and at the bottom.
You can find a link to the wide receivers.
Target share and usage will be using that.
I'm sure when we talk about receivers here in a sec, but boys, any other running backs here that get too high, too low? I just got a question here real quick.
Um, I'm one of those players who drafted Leonard Fernet and Ronald Jones.
Should I even think what started to either one of them this week? Um, no letter from Fernet didn't practice today.
I don't think that's a glaring, you know, issue.
I think he's gonna be active, but yeah, right now they seem perfectly, perfectly fine to go split evenly split carries.
And if one player obviously takes off and goes crazy well with his first couple carries, and maybe we'll give him the Rock more, but I think it's gonna be an even split and it's tough matchup, so I think they're flex worthy.
Yeah, the running back I'm looking at it is Kenyan Drake at eight.
Um, I'm just wondering when he's gonna show up.
I mean, he's doing a decent job, but fantasy wise, he's just not what anybody really thought he'd be after the end of last year on his plane. Carolina.
You know, I would usually say, Easy win.
But they struggled and lost to Detroit, so hey, you never know.
Carolina beat L.
Um, Is this a game he balls out? Um, it wouldn't surprise me, but we'll see what happens with him at eight.
Tough play there.
Yeah, I was a Kenyan Drake hater coming into the season, but last week I was all in on him against Detroit.
Obviously, we've seen Detroit.
It ran all over.
He took 18 carries for 73 yards, which not super efficient.
This is another prime matchup.
Obviously, Panthers run defense is horrendous.
You would think they're good.
Um, I think it's a close game again, but I don't know workloads there.
We'll see what he can dio between him and Joe Mix, and I don't know who people are more frustrated with right now.
Anything else or should we talked wide receivers? Um, I think there's a lot of talk on wide receivers here.
Yeah, there's plenty of injuries.
A lot of question marks, a lot of switching.
That's going to happen with my rankings.
But for right now, I have DeAndre Hopkins, Carolina at number one and Calvin Ridley at Green Bay. Number two.
Tyree Kill versus the Patriots.
Alan Robinson, number four versus the Colts and then d K.
Metcalf at the Dolphins number five.
Before you guys talk about this top five here, obviously, if Julio Jones plays, I would probably plug him right into number two.
Catherine, really Still a top 10 option for me? What do you guys think about this? Top five? Um, I'm just looking at the rankings here.
It's kind of funny to see, you know, like Calvin Ridley Allen Robinson, D K.
Metcalf in the top five.
And we're so used to seeing, you know, Hopkins, Julio Jones, Michael Thomas for the last two or three years.
So I'm just gonna kick out of it.
Um, I So I recently said, one of my roommates that I think Tyree kill is, you know, he's never has a bad matchup just on how he's played.
So I mean, I think Terry Killer three is good.
I think you could even put him top too, because I think every week they're looking to take that one deep shot to him.
And, you know, Terry kill rarely misses on that deep shot.
You know, he's good for four catches for 100 yards and a touchdown.
I feel like every week.
Yeah, and if Julio doesn't play, it will be interesting to see Ridley at two.
Alexander has been incredible this year.
Um, but we've He's obviously never seen anybody A t caliber of Ridley.
Especially with Ridley having a decent quarterback in Matt Ryan.
So be interesting if that you know how that plays out.
But a few leo plays, uh, this secondary is gonna have their hands full.
Um, like you said, Julio just burns the Packers, and now you're number two.
Cornerback is on Ridley.
Yeah, I would agree.
Even if Julio comes back, he's got to be a top 10 option.
Um, last time the Falcons played the Packers.
Whoops. That's not right.
Let me find the right stats here.
Okay, there we go.
Last time you played the packers eight catches, 106 yards.
Two touchdowns came before that 108 yards.
Game before that 118.
2 touchdowns came before that.
He probably got hurt.
I can't tell game before that.
Just, you know, a modest 259 receiving there.
Uh, this is I hope he's out, but, yeah, it sucks.
Um, Tyree kill. I also looked that up.
He had okay games the past couple times against the Patriots.
You can't really take a ton from it.
Last time you would have had a good day if he found the end zone.
I guess you could say that about any wide receiver.
He's matchup proof just because speed kills and there's nobody that can cover him one on one at all.
Um, looking at the consensus here, juju Smith Schuster on five spots higher than the consensus.
I have my number 10 and I also think deonte johnson's out, so I don't know why did you wouldn't be number 10 but Okay.
Uh, t y Hilton, I have a 22.
We talked yesterday about all the injuries that the Colts wide receivers and we thought Hilton would probably benefit most out of the wide receivers, at least, but I'm five spots higher there.
Robby Anderson continues to show out.
I have him at 23.
That's five spots higher.
Um, any other notable ones? Jamison Crowder.
I'm 54 spots higher, but I would assume that comes up when he gets ruled active, which I think you will be for 30 or for Thursday Night Football.
I haven't met 38 right now.
If I find out he's fully active, no restrictions and may move him into the 35 low 30 range, I would assume he gets pretty much every target he can handle from Sam Donald.
At least many other wide receivers.
We talked about yesterday.
I really like him.
I think you see that ginormous boost with, uh Cohen out now because Cohen took a lot of slot snaps from him.
I haven't met 50 or no, I haven't at 48 that's six spots.
Higher consensus is that 54 and Zach Pascal is another one for the Colts.
I have him six by the tire, still down at 60 out of that group.
Yeah, is there any? You guys were surprised that that's either extremely too low from the consensus or too high from me.
Um, I would reach and say Pass Scala at 60.
Um, Terry Killer struggled.
Campbell. He's still out.
Correct. I think he's out for a couple of weeks.
Michael Pittman's out till week eight.
Um, I just think he gets enough targets.
I think Chicago is going to try to stuff the run.
I don't think they'll do it successfully, but I think they'll make Indie Passmore than we think.
Um, I don't think he's going to be anywhere near the thirties or the forties, but I think he's a guy where if you're thin and you're looking at him and you say, Do I really want to play them? He's not as bad as I think.
The consensus says he will be this week.
Yeah, just going off of that. Trevor.
The sheer opportunities that he's going to get, you know with two, two started, receive result is, you know, gonna be great for fantasy football.
E think e don't know.
I don't think he's that great of a player.
He's just the next person that is going to catch the ball, you know? So I would say like, maybe in a deeper league.
Go ahead, take a fire on Zach Paschal.
Maybe if you're like three and all right Now take a flyer on him, see what comes out of them, but yeah.
I mean, the guys you kind of highlighted there, I kind of agree with most of them.
And I'm gonna look at Jack Paschal stats from last year because I know he went on nice little run there.
Opportunities is gonna be there.
Chuck Pagano, Revenge Game.
He's now the defensive coordinator for the Bears.
He's bringing his a game.
You know that? Um, yes. Last year.
Paschal's seven catches 109 week after that, 74 with a touchdown.
Earlier in the year, he had a 72 yard game game in between 106 and two touchdowns came in between 76 1 touchdown.
So he's inconsistent, but he can produce.
And that was with obviously a lesser quarterback.
I would assume most people would agree with on Luke.
Are you thinking I'm too high on any of these wide receivers we talked about? Or the consensus is weirdly too low.
So I missed You guys were talking about You're talking about the jet stream here that we talked about Jamison Crowder? Yeah. Okay.
And, um, I'm even still lower on Jamison Crowder than you have been.
I talked about him on We talked to him yesterday and we talked about Barrios yesterday.
I just don't think that the Jets are that good of a team that I mean, there are opportunities there.
I just don't think, uh, to me, the Jets seemed like a team that's going to go.
And I know you said you like the Jets is to win this week.
Yeah, they're gonna win.
Uh, unless play borders place, the lines come down even further.
Now, now there's no points.
It's it's just a pickup.
Is it e don't move three points.
Probably from me, right? I don't know.
I just don't feel like this Jets team is gonna, you know, try to run early.
It's gonna be run to the left.
Two yards, run to the right, two yards, incomplete pass on course they are.
When you have somebody like that in the back field, I don't know how you don't run it 40 times a game just with him, right? Well, there you go.
That that goes to my point by Jamison.
Crowder won't get as many opportunities if you're just gonna run, Frank.
But I think it's just like a run to the left.
Run to the right.
Sam Donald might check down for ah, three yards and try to get the receiver to run. That's what I think.
This Jets offenses.
Um, maybe Crowder has a good week and I come around on him.
I just don't see it because I don't think Donald second of a quarterback, either.
That's one of the receivers on this list that they didn't touch on, but I think could be either, you know, top five or he could be an absolute bust.
This week is Keenan Allen.
I mean, he had 19 targets last week.
That's not sustainable.
We all know that, Um, but this I mean, he's he's, you know, Herbert's favorite target.
Eso I can see him just being peppered with targets and getting a lot of catches.
At the same time.
I feel like this could be a really grind grit, you know, grind it out game where it's a lot more rushing and short yardage where he might not get enough receptions and if so, maybe not for a ton of yards.
So at 16 I like him.
But, man, I don't know about you guys, but I can see him going very high and very low in both directions.
I think he could.
My only argument would be if he is low.
I don't know who would get targets, I guess, because I don't think he throws it to Mike Williams.
I don't think Herbert took enough quarterback tow target Williams with the routes that he runs, then I like Hunter Henry.
I think he's terrific, and obviously there's been running backs, but they just don't have very many weapons, so I don't It just feels like he I feel like Keenan Allen's floor for targets this week is 12 to be completely honest.
But the way the game script is probably gonna go, um, looking at his individual matchup, He gets Sean Murphy bunting the slot corner from Tampa.
Not a very good player.
He has a couple inches on them.
I thought they'd have a putting cornerback than that.
I'm not gonna lie, so maybe you won't follow us far.
You'll see something like Carlton Davis, I guess, too.
But I don't think it that much.
Those are always the most fun fantasy players.
They're gonna finish in the top five or bottom five for the week.
Yeah, that's great. That's great.
That's kind of what I thought about DeSean Jackson and all my best ball lineups to this year, and I'm not wrong.
He has finished pretty much bottom five.
There's a game coming.
I'm waiting for it.
I feel like with him to every game is a decision.
Jackson revenge game.
So one of these has to work out, right? Uh, maybe we'll hold my breath talking about wide receivers.
People are really, really high on him this week, and I missed news.
Maybe I don't understand it.
The consensus has him at 11 overall, and I have met 17 overall at six spots lower, and I even that I'm like I could put him lower.
I don't know that ranking really confuses me.
Other receivers will fuller on four spots lower on brain and cook some seven lower on Cole Beasley and five lower on, Which is weird because I love Cole Beasley this year, and that's about it.
Everything else pretty much in line.
But once you guys thoughts on Terra McLaurin, is there something I'm missing or is I don't get it.
Why would people have met 11? I think everybody else must be missing something because I don't see it either.
Hey, played the Browns, who really aren't that great of a team for catches on eight targets.
And now he's playing Baltimore.
They'll be playing from behind.
But I can't trust Haskins.
Uh, I don't see why he's that high.
Um, and honestly, I think it could even go lower than, like, the gala day or C D lamb in possible shootouts.
Um, so, yeah, I I agree with you.
I don't see him anywhere near 11.
Yeah, you gotta think McLaurin two is going to see a lot of Marlon Marlon Humphrey this week, and that's not really, you know, a good matchup for fantasy success.
Maybe the people are calling thinking so high because that's all Washington has.
But I mean all with all Washington has, it's still, you know, not good for fantasy.
Especially, especially, Dwayne Haskins is throwing you the ball.
Um, I don't know.
Trevor, you're right.
You could go, You know, lower than Golladay.
I could even see him going lower than Robby Anderson. Devante Parker.
You know, it's a very tough matchup for Terry McLaurin this week.
And I'm a guy who has Terry McLaurin and most of my leagues, and I thinking I might find a streamer option instead of him this week.
And obviously he's played Philadelphia, Arizona, Cleveland, which I personally think are three good matchups.
Baltimore, for sure, is the hardest out of the four, McLaren's finished in half.
PPR is wide receiver 40 number three and then 37.
So maybe people are banking on that.
He is in every other week.
I I don't I don't know.
Top five bottom five guy.
I guess Maybe Maybe maybe that's the play this week.
I don't know any other wide receivers here.
You guys want to touch on? Um I know we talked about a lot yesterday.
Um, I'm starting Tee Higgins over a J Green this week.
I wanna put looking at those, like, Okay, I don't know who I want to rank Tee Higgins above.
Where do I have? I know I haven't too low.
I put him above to Sean Jackson, for sure.
I don't know why I have come below that, but I don't think I want to rank him above anyone really higher than him, then a J.
Green. It's like, Yes, I can put him lower.
But then there's people like Will Fuller, Jarvis Landry.
And she knelt there.
I'd rather bake on the guy who's gonna see targets, I guess.
I don't know, but yeah, I would personally start Higgins above a J.
Yeah, that's what I'm doing in a couple of weeks here.
So I'm hoping that pays off.
If not, it's on you, Zack.
I'll take it alone.
I don't know. Wide receivers this week crazy.
And obviously we haven't mentioned by the way.
And I haven't just at the bottom of my rankings just, uh, acknowledge I know of their existence, but I don't know whether injury situation is we have questions on deonte Johnson, Julio Jones, Davante Adams, Michael Thomas, D. J. Shark.
Michael Thomas, I think, is the closest the playing of the Fire, and I'm pretty certain he's going to play the other four.
I have no idea, but it changes a lot.
Obviously, that's why I was gonna ask, Did you hear any news If they want Adams practice today? I didn't.
And tomorrow would be the day we hear something just because it's, you know, a day later because of the Monday night game.
Um, I just I just don't know why they would push him considering the matchup, considering the three no makes sense.
Yeah, I don't know.
Hopefully, they could make, like a gentleman's agreement to keep Adams out if they keep pulling you out or something.
Any other wide receivers before we go too tight ends here.
No, let's go ahead here.
Tight ends here.
I don't know those air confusing not to Mark Andrews is my number.
One tight and it was called the Mark Ingram saw the Baltimore jersey got blinded.
Uh, he plays at Washington this week.
I have number two at San Francisco, obviously, Dallas got er is out.
Travis Kelsey versus the Patriots is number three.
I'm gonna look up stats here in a second on him.
I think he usually plays very well against the Patriots.
That replaced Terrible.
I know there's something notable about it.
Darren Waller, number four.
I have vs Buffalo this week.
And Tyler Higbee.
My hatred is strong, but I have been number five against the Giants this week.
What do you guys think about that? Top five, I mean, yeah, yeah.
I mean, it's a solid top five.
Like I said, I feel like like I said, you know, the last couple weeks, I feel like, you know, the top eight.
Like I feel every week.
You kind of know what the top eight tight ends they're gonna be.
So I mean, from this list, I think top seven, you could move anyone around.
I'd still be fine with it.
Yeah, and And I like Kittel sitting at seven.
Just till we see you know how he comes back from injury brought up Kelsey stats here.
Obviously, Patriots defense is built to take the strength away.
We all know that that's what they do.
they did the water last week.
Last game against the Patriots was his best.
He had seven catches on nine targets for 66 yards, but before that, three for 23 a touchdown.
Five for 61 5 for 40 and then six for 23.
So nothing noteworthy.
But he also wasn't completely taken away.
So I think I would move him down because of this.
But I also think he's harder to take away now just because the Chiefs continue to add weapons everywhere else.
They're not a team, that's like, Okay, now we took your strength away, beat us with the other guys.
It's like they're fine to do that.
So who would you put him? Who would you put him behind if you're gonna bring him down? Darren Waller.
I think Darren Waller bumps back this week.
Maybe if I kid is gonna play, maybe I would put Kittel above him.
I need to see if I can find, like, practice video on Kittel, I think.
But if he's out there, I can't imagine Kittel is out of my top five by the end of the week.
Um, I guess we'll just jump right into who I'm hiring lower on.
Currently, I have killed before spots higher than the consensus.
That will probably change Olson, though I have five spots higher.
He is that 22 for me, 27 for everybody else, and then Jack Doyle.
I have 23 28 for everyone else.
We talked about the tight end situation a little bit last week for the colds.
I think it's not worthy.
Um, I'll bring up the numbers from last week.
Everyone, including myself, sort of thought Jack Doyle was very limited last week, coming back from injury, and that wasn't the case.
You got to start.
He played 32 snaps more.
Ali Cox is 35 so pretty much even split.
Doyle was on the field for 16.
He ran 16 routes to Mohali.
So obviously, the opportunities there for Jack Doyle they used Ali Cox is the run blocking tight end.
So if I have to start between those two guys this week, I'm going to take Jack Doyle.
I just think the opportunity is there and I know the consensus is going to be opposite of that just because they get blinded by box scores.
But aside from that, what you guys thoughts on Greg Olsen? Actually, that's one to talk about 22.
He's had one bad game.
Does the Patriots game, where he gave up that pick six right away, essentially was his fault.
But the other two games, four targets and six targets.
So if you had to rank Greg Olsen going forward rest of season, okay, kind of player.
Do you think he is on this type of offense? Trevor, you can start with this one.
I would say, you know, low teens, early twenties.
Um, just because some guys like ahead of them from week to week, Um, they have, like, no floor.
They can get you 10.
They could get to zero and he'll He obviously has a floor.
I'm sure once this year he'll probably have a break out game.
Usually a lot of players do.
Um, he's not a number one option, but I mean, if you were scrambling after the draft, if you were taking best available and found yourself about a tight end, he's a guy that you can put in there, and you know you're not thrilled with it, but you definitely aren't kicking yourself over starting Greg Olsen in this offense.
Yeah, Yeah, I agree where you put him.
You said late teens, high twenties.
I feel like blended in, like, the perfect spot you can land on for a veteran tight end, you know, in a run first to kind of plays off the play action.
Um, the only where you have about him is that Deacon.
But Captain Tyler Lockett are very good receivers.
Um, maybe with Chris Carson.
If he's not gonna play this week, then Greg Olsen might see a couple more opportunities.
Because maybe Carlos, I'd won't run well or, you know, whatever.
But I mean, I'm waiting for a Greg Olsen breakout game because I like where he landed.
Um, he's a veteran tight end who has had a great career.
You know, I just think there's ah lot of players on that offense that air good fantasy players and Greg Olson's kind of get lost in the shuffle.
But I mean, as the rest of season goes around, I rank them right around that 20 mark for tight ends and to put a little bit of confidence in Olsen in terms of what his role is in this offense, obviously, at best third, best past culture.
We just talked about the two wide receivers.
Josh Gordon also is looming.
You would assume he gets the green light soon.
Maybe I don't know why.
There's been so much silence about that.
But Greg Olsen last game played 38 where he ran 38 routes compared to in relative Tyler Lack. It's 54.
You can Metcalf's 52.
So around the same page 38 of 52 for that sound, right? Where is Crystal was 38 or 54 passing plays? He was running routes well, Desailly didn't take anything away.
Desailly ran nine routes only.
He was mostly a blocker.
Eso Greg Olson, you would assume Get something at some point.
I also don't know how often Seattle has really been in the red zone.
I feel like they keep scoring long touchdowns, so maybe once they have a little bit more red zone trips, he gets used down there.
I'm not sure, but he's the perfect streamer.
I feel like if you have a tight end on by or something, pick him up I know he's gonna get targets, so I think he is good for that this year.
Let's talk about Rob Gronkowski.
First two weeks. We already touched on them.
Four targets first two weeks to catches, 11 yards.
Not noteworthy at all last week against Denver.
Seven targets. Six receptions, 48 yards.
Is Rob Gronkowski going forward? Luke.
Closer to what we saw last week or closer to what we saw the first two weeks? Um, e kinda wanna say, like, kind of between that A little bit, Um, I would honestly, I think he's more towards what we saw last week.
I feel like they're gonna want to get more involved.
You know, he's one of the greatest tight ends of all time.
He's Tom Brady's best friend.
What seems like in the whole world? You know, there's no way that they cannot not throw the ball to rob Gronkowski.
Right? Um, you know the thing that worries about because he is a big guy, he's a great blocking, blocking tight end.
So I'm wondering if they're just going to roll them out for, you know, run packages and, you know, let O J Howard get all the tight and receptions? Um, so I don't know, You know, obviously it's not Rob Gronkowski from 2011 where? Scoring 17 touchdowns in a season.
But I would I would say that Roger and Coastal Sea for 5 to 6 targets a game coming up here next, at least next couple of games, I would agree someone somewhere in the middle.
Um, obviously, the the Buccaneers have had trouble staying healthy.
Receiver wise seems like it's one or the other every week.
Um, so I don't think he'll have, you know, six oh, interception games consistently at all, one of the best of all time.
He's done Brady's good friend, and he's a big guy to throw to just another big target that he likes.
So it'll even out for the rest of season.
Snap Shared definitely was more in his favorite last week than any other week.
Um, I don't know if I want to chalk that up to He's adjusted to game speed or conditioning.
I don't think that's necessarily the case.
Hey, played 63 snaps.
Obviously, the shared the field together quite a bit and I guess that might be the most noteworthy thing.
They'll probably play almost exclusively to tight ends if Chris Godwin is not playing.
Um, but Bronco is obviously destroyed defensively.
They have 27% of their team other teams.
Salary cap is on IR right now.
Yeah, Then there's the other injuries.
They went down with more injuries last week, so I would assume the pass rush wasn't very good last week, so they didn't really need to use tight ends up lock.
And that probably opened up more opportunity for Afghan Kowski, too.
Catch the football.
Also, there was the, you know, backlash of Bruce Arians saying that Rob Gronkowski doesn't need to catch the football or whatever the the quote Waas.
So I think probably I'm sure they made it a point to get him the ball.
Yeah, he's probably in between there.
I mean, he's still he's still gonna have a rock Gronkowski game, you know, he is he's gonna have a two touchdown, maybe 100 year game, but I don't need a rank him as it and it makes me happy to ring crabber Tanya and above him.
So that's kind of why I put him there this week.
Yeah, I'm glad you brought up Tiny.
And I'm a big, big rob guy.
Um, obviously, you know, depending on what you are.
PPR um 10 16 points last two weeks, two touchdown.
So he's touchdown dependent, but he also hasn't had that many targets.
Um, I can see him becoming a better target for Rogers going forward.
He's shown he is a lot more sure handed this.
Well, the guys that have eso he I don't think he's a guy to pick up except in deep leagues.
As of now, he's definitely a guy.
Put on that watch list.
Check from week to week.
Make sure, uh, that if he does start going off, you get to him first.
Um, he won't ever be a top, you know, 10 Ted end.
He'll be a guy that can surprise some people week to week, though.
Especially if the packers rien Sorry.
I was gonna say, especially if the packers runoff run offense keeps going.
Um, you know, that just sets up play action toe Tanyon and Tanya is kind of the best of both worlds in terms of the other tight ends that they have Italian can block, and he's a capable receiver.
Whereas Mercedes Lewis is good for pushing and blocking and Jay Stern Burger is good for wearing Jordy Nelson is Jersey Robert Robert Downey in the block on 15 plays last week, most of any tight end played 39 snaps, most of any tight end.
The other two I just mentioned played 20 each, and Tiny ran 22 routes on the 37 passing place.
So if this is a week where, especially if Davante Adams is out tiny and could be in for a really, really nice week.
Assuming Atlanta passes all over the Packers, as they usually do, Rogers may have to pass a little bit more.
Italian is going to be Guy Rodgers Trust clearly, so he's definitely interesting this week.
If Adams is out, I'll probably move him Top 20.
Any other thoughts on these tight ends before we get out of here? Not for me.
Um, I feel like we talked about Jared Cook every week.
Um, that he's gonna have.
He's like, this is week.
I feel like Jared Cook is now.
What kind of turned into a guy where New Orleans is going to score points.
But Jared Cook is not going to score the points in my in my right, My rocket that, uh, maybe you're wrong, but he also has a growing injury right now.
And I That's like the injury I don't mess with.
Yeah, there's just affect everything.
I don't I don't need touch last week.
I think that's about it, though.
Check out the rankings at 40 sports dot org's We have new stats.
Uh, wide receiver, target share running back usage in.
Ah, split like snap splits and stuff.
That's both on this site right now.
Go check those out.
Definitely good information, especially for d efs.
Put four season long fantasy football is Well, thanks, Trevor.
And look for joining me.
And we will be back tomorrow with a start.
Sit. Show is tomorrow Thursday already.
The game is going down toe.
Tomorrow night, everyone's gonna tune in.
Adam Gays, Frank or Oh, God, You're just gonna put on a show? Yeah.
Adam Gaze is gonna embarrass that young quarterback.
I'm fully serious, but I already have a bet on the jet, so I have I'm all in.
I'm all in, Frank, or every prop over jets are gonna be fine.
I posted betting preview for the game today, and I'm pretty much betting the over and all offensive stats to be completely honest, I think Sam Donald actually plays well.
I can't wait to be disappointed.
I've strayed from you guys before and I've always been wrong.
Uh, I got to get it right eventually.
So I'm gonna go Broncos.
I got to go with the Broncos.
You can't. You can't bet against Destiny.
And that destiny is frank or last night.
You can? Yeah, you can.
You can bet on the Broncos because I'm sure we'll see Blake Bortles with five minutes left in the second quarter in the game.
If he's active, Frank, if Blake Bortles is active, I will consider placing a bet on Denver last second.
So that's about it.
Thanks to you too, for joining me.
Everyone who is watching give us the follow.
We'll be back tomorrow.
Gober's Oh, brilliant
