That's not music.
Wanna make you, like, hit somebody like you know what I mean, Like this gears you up like, you know, And it's not like Star Wars turning just gets me all fired up.
They all fired up last night.
The heat ratio podcast Episode 1 29 was fired as always.
And tonight we bring more fire.
John, fancy firebox, right? When we just talk all fancy, we're gonna recap the first three weeks we're gonna break this season up in the four, right? We're gonna Every third week, we'll look back and see what these players were doing.
Who's hot, who's called? What's the play for the week? Movie by Andres Second and movie gods it.
A lot of people say it's like Like, maybe like returning to Jedi or like Star Wars.
And I'm not a Star Wars guy Andre at all, but it kind of does feel like you're in that.
I think John, you said that too, didn't you? Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Well, it's no different than NFL films like watching the old highlights from the eighties.
You know, like that music to it's just I don't know.
It's something about it.
You see, like Jim Brown with, like, half a helmet.
You know, just truck dudes, right, Larry? Uh, Andrew.
What's up, buddy? I know, Andrew.
I know you don't play fancy.
I know you're gonna tell me that I get it, but as always, I appreciate your support as always, Andre.
So tomorrow, Andre, tomorrow we're gonna talk about six years, man.
Make sure you join me.
We talked about this Doc Rivers thing, man breaking news as always on diets to carry callous intro.
Uh, what was that song? The Harry High Hopes.
High Hopes, right? NFL films? Yeah, NFL films, But no John fancy injuries.
You know, it seems like every week somebody's tearing a c L, which were absolutely sucks. It really does.
But, you know, let let let me let let's just start right off the bat every week.
It's the waivers, because obviously that's the most important thing.
So, Wednesday, some leagues or two day waivers, some some leagues or just one night? Depends on what liqueur in.
But this week, you know, I was I did my daily ticket hit.
We were talking about waivers.
And for me It was Carlos High as the top guy between Carlos Hyde, Darryl Henderson, where the guy I wanted and waivers, you know, Was there anybody else so missing there, Jonah? They kind of the top two guys to target this week.
Yeah, those were the top two.
I mean, Henderson, I believe I I picked up the week before, Um, but so he you know, he may or may not be out there.
I really don't want anything to do with Rex Burkhead.
That's gonna be the same old same old.
I mean, you know what? You you know what you get once one out of every five games and you never know week to week with Belichick's gonna do back there.
I'm the only other one would possibly be Justin Jefferson receiver for the Vikings, you know? Are his cousins going to step up and use a number two receiver? I mean, that passing offense hasn't really been that great this year.
Feelings been getting his.
But you haven't seen the tight ends really getting in the work.
That number two receiver.
So we'll see if he could step up into that number to roll and put up some meaningful stats.
I think that's that.
That's an intriguing one for me because, you know, Joseph Jefferson and we talked about this last night on the heat ratio about, you know, him.
Being, you know the most is that right now actually talked about that on daily ticket today was, you know, coming out of college and coming out of u C L A.
He was talked about as being the most established receiver, ready to take that next step, and he was already polished.
And right now, I mean, we're talking about offense that was struggling a little bit, right? They missed the farm digs, and the whole question has been Can Adam feeling be that number one guy and he needs a counter.
Me right needs a counterpart, and that could very well be Justin Jefferson.
Now, I took a flyer on him in my draft.
I picked him up in the last round, you know, it was like between him and I think, Jerry, Judy, you know, I took Justin Jefferson because I just I thought he was gonna give the most opportunities to succeed, especially in that offense.
Like you said, being a number to God, so I don't know.
We can obviously listening.
You're not gonna get 77 for 1.
75 every week or seven for 1 35.
You know, you're not gonna get that every week.
We already know that.
But I think this is the opening for this guy.
I think it's opening for JJ to be able to, uh, get those constant targets.
Listen, Dalvin cook, You know, he commands a ton of coverage.
Looks especially with that 89 in a box.
So you know he's gonna have opportunities.
And now, if you have to cover him, that's gonna open up opportunities for stealing one on one as well.
So I don't know what you think about it.
Do you think he could be a steady performer, John? Or do you think this was kind of like, ah, one week flu? I think it's gonna be in between.
I think he'll see some targets, but I don't think he's gonna be consistent enough week to week.
I mean, they still want to run the ball up there.
It's Dalvin, cook show.
You know how much we know Kirk cousins ain't that great of a quarterback, so he historically has liked his safety 1000.
His tight ends looks for looks at Rudolf in the red zone.
Herb Smith was, I felt like a sleeper coming into this year.
They talked about, you know, spreading them out wide to play a little bit of that second receiver role in certain formations.
Um, so I think he can be.
But it's not a guy that I'm really gonna trust.
I mean, I could see 4 to 5 catches a game on about seven targets.
We'll have for a touchdown every once in a while.
But you know, the passing game still goes through Adam feeling now.
Last night on our show, we talked about Nick Foles as the former Eagles quarterback.
Tonight, we need to talk about Nick Foles as a fantasy quarterback.
Now he comes in throws for 1 88 3 and one.
We've seen the Nick Foles show before.
John Nick Foles.
Is he starting quarterback of fantasy right now? No, I don't think he waas really, ever a starting quarterback in fantasy.
I mean, he had he had the you know that one.
I believe that one really good year, but you know, when was that? That was I mean, how How long ago? I don't even know if it was, Ah, full year.
I mean, in reality, he's never been a fantasy quarterback.
It will put up some games, but you know, similar Thio similar to Minnesota.
The Bears still want to run the ball.
You know, they really that that's, I think, what they want to do.
Montgomery's look decent.
Uh, but I will say I like Alan Robinson a heck of a lot more with Nick Foles under center.
And you know, when you draft any of those Bears receivers, I mean, at least when I did, I was doing it expecting falls to either win the job outright or take it over early in the season, which he did.
So that was kind of my outlook, because I would not have had them is high.
Had I thought Travis Key would be the quarterback for the full season.
Yeah, I like that.
I like that a lot.
And that was one of the things in the preseason that, you know, I thought Nick Fall was gonna be the starter and I had Al Robinson really, really high I really do.
And again, you know, this is something that I think works, you know, in in advantageous for guys like Anthony Miller.
And, you know, Tariq Ellen, unfortunately, tears his a c l.
So I think this could have worked very well for him.
Is, well, Andre checking in? And no, in fact, if you start him this week, it's a big mistake.
The Bears coaching staff wants to run.
John, you just said that, right? They can dump down the field and run again.
I I could see that, but I do think he's like John is saying it.
Andre, I don't think he has had deep ball capability.
The Al Robinson Al Robinson wants to go deep.
He wants to go deep.
And I think this is This is the perfect poison if you, you know, if you want to say it that way for him to succeed and finally to get some more relevance going forward in the face of football world, well, and it's also, I mean, could he be a light version of Tannehill? I mean, Tennessee wants to run the ball.
He doesn't throw for necessarily a whole heck of a lot of yards, but all he needs to do is hit on two big ones.
Hit Alan Robbins sitting in Anthony Miller.
Couple check downs, and you know he can get his stats.
But, I mean, look, he remember he lost his job last year.
The Gardner Minshew.
Okay, so, I mean, that says something right there.
I mean, listen way Know who we're talking about here.
We know the myth.
We know the legend.
So no need to talk anymore.
Let's get right to running backs.
We already talked about Carlos Hyde. We talked about Rex Burkhead.
We know what that's gonna be.
Let me throw two names at you and these air these air really steep stretches for maybe deep legs.
Or if you're really, really hurting.
What is the thing the Michael Perry on say to you? And what is Brian Hill? Safer.
You Parini from the New York Jets? Obviously, he's the most explosive, you know, running back that they have.
He's only rushed for seven times for 24 yards, but it looked like he had some upside.
Especially, you know, if Adam case gets fired, But you know, how about brought Brian Hill comes out of nowhere in Atlanta, you know, they're only giving the ball to Todd Gurley 15 and 18 times a game.
Is Brian Hyland option that we need to look at? I mean, not not in terms of fantasy, but, I mean, he's definitely the handcuff.
I mean, I don't see him taking the job away from Todd Gurley, but as we've seen, historically, I could see Todd Gurley not playing 16 games.
So yes, he's a very good handcuffed tohave.
Um, you know, I don't trust to play him in, you know, a long as girl.
He's the starter.
I mean, he nine carries is, you know, Okay, but this is the first week he had nine carry, so I don't wanna blow it out of proportion.
Um, so I like him or than, uh, LaMichael in New York.
Uh, I don't like anything in New York right now.
The only thing that I would even consider is possibly Jamison Crowder, because he just gets peppered with targets and gets to catches.
You won't get you many touchdowns, but he'll get you there.
He won't even get a lot of yards.
He's he's gonna have a seven yard, seven yard average.
But he's he will catch the ball.
Anything outside that the whole Chris Herndon wagon that was going for years? Chris Herndon.
Chris turned it.
That dude can't stay on the field.
And even when he is, he hasn't performed.
I want nothing to do with Sam. Donald.
I don't wanna hear nothing about pyramids hurt.
And the biggest killer of them all is left Bell.
I drafted left Bell.
I don't know one of my leagues.
It was he was like my co three.
So I'm sitting there.
I'm taking third running back.
I'm very happy with left Bell.
I'm not so happy with left Bell.
I mean, I'll take him as my number three, but the point is e I mean, I was expecting low end RB two numbers or like solid flex numbers.
You know, where you plug them in for whatever guys out.
You know, you could still feel confident, like in by weeks that you have a stable running back court.
And even when he comes back, I don't even I don't even like him.
It's tough to like anybody from the Jets, man.
That is a straight dumpster fire out there.
I mean, listen, Donald throws an interception.
The first, like five seconds of the game and it's already seven.
I mean, Adam Gay still having a job right now.
I don't know what's worth Adam.
Gays or math Cleantech.
Still having a job? Really? Not sure.
But Adam, wherever we go, wherever he goes, man, you might as well throw in the towel.
It's like a poison, A poison.
It really is a couple of guys down the wide receiver position.
You know, Al Mazar.
I was big on Al Lazard.
I don't know why he's still on the waiver wire.
I know a lot of people were saying he was a good pick up this week.
I had drafted Salazar because I just automatically assumed that he was going to go into that number to roll and listen.
If you're in a Green Bay offense and we've seen it in the past, right, we've seen it with guys like Randall Cobb made a living off of being that number two number three options in that offense.
So Alma's our big day 61 46 and one, you know he owned about 50% of the league, but with Davante Adams still remaining sideline and so probably not gonna be 100%.
I'm thinking that it looks like this is the guy that Aaron Rodgers has owned it on number two.
I mean, you're comfortable starting Lasarte.
If Adams doesn't play, I'm okay with it.
Maurin a flex position for me.
Um, when Adams plays Adams is the guy.
He gets so many targets, and I will say I mean, remember two weeks ago Marquez Valdez canceling, I'll you know, I'll stat.
I'll perform the Lazard, So yeah, he You know, Aaron Rodgers has always spread around.
You brought up Randall Cobb.
It didn't matter who you plugged in.
I mean, back when there was I mean, I don't know.
I guess Antonio Freeman would have been, uh, hard.
But now I started going back.
I mean, yeah, right.
What was was driver ever with Rogers? I don't even know.
But you had your driver.
You have great Jennings.
You have Jordy Nelson Cobb.
I'm trying to think what what other guy? I mean, I know there were mawr, but they just kind of kept flowing through.
And Rogers would just find that guy.
You didn't know who the guy was gonna be week to week.
But there was always a second guy that showed up on top of the number one.
So I see Lazard he could fill in here and there.
I like him better than MVS.
Um, but, you know, I'm Max emitted a flex start, man.
I'll tell you what, man.
You as you go back and that some of them names Green Bay Packers that had ah, hell off a bunch of fancy performers back in the day, man, when you think about it, I mean, you just mentioned a ton of Oh, and let's not forget about the running back position, right? It talked about Amon Green had, you know, where's that? There was a time in Amman.
Green was a number one running back in fantasy for a to three year period.
He was on fire, man.
He was absolutely on fire.
But, uh what? Andre? Checking in October, The battle for Pia.
Episode 80 me talking the Battle P.
I absolutely love it, Andre.
As always, man making it interesting.
Um hey, here's an intriguing want before we move on the The Aaron Rodgers and the Josh Allen question that way, titled this episode about two guys, they're very, very intriguing to me that are very readily available.
And one of them is Greg Ward.
One of them has a Philadelphia mentality to it. Now.
The only reason why I say that.
Because in the preseason, when I was asked who I thought I was put on the spot and, you know, I was asked who will lead the team in targets, you know, for the Philadelphia Eagles.
And I said, Greg Ward, now that's not that's not saying much, right? We understand that.
But no else on Jeffrey notice on Jackson? No, Jalen Reagor.
I mean, he gets 11 targets on Sunday.
Look really good.
Eight for 72. Touchdown.
I mean, could he be very serviceable? We're talking about, Ah, year, where there's a lot of injuries, right? There's a lot of covert talk, and there's a lot of guys just aren't producing.
I mean, Greg would actually be He's an option for May I like him? What about you? What do you think about Greg Ward? I mean, he's their best receiver.
I mean, it is the bottom line.
Uh, you know, the number one receiver on almost any team is still has to be considered, especially for fantasy, you know, without Goddard.
And just think of the pecking order.
I mean, you have Earth's you got Sanders, and you have Greg Ward, so I I see the potential there.
I mean, I don't love him to blow up, but I could see him doing having some really clutch catches.
Uh, you know, I don't know how much they'll look at him.
Look to him in the in the end zone for the touchdowns, but I mean, he he is.
He seems like you need that big play.
You need that catch, third downs, whatever it is.
He's just He's that hard nosed, hardworking receiver that just goes out and gets the job done.
Doesn't while you, with speed, size, nothing puts in the work and does his job.
And what exactly is that puts in the work and it seems like he's always around the ball.
It doesn't seem like he has a problem getting off the coverage.
It looks like he runs pretty good routes.
Eso listen like you said that the number one receiver on a bad team is always gotta own a fantasy because number one they were playing from behind.
This is a double Peterson offense who throws the ball a lot.
And Carson Wentz, if you listen to press conference, really talked up Greg Ward this week.
Which makes me think I mean Andre Jacket and saying We will be productive this week.
I particularly touchdown against San Francisco. I agree.
I think it's gonna be a bigger week for Greg Ward this week that it was last week.
I see double digit catches this week for Greg Ward.
I think it's very, very possible another guy job.
Another guy, Uh, this guy in trees the hell out of me.
And I know he's only only like, 5% of leagues, but T.
Higgins looks like an absolute beast, right? I mean, does.
He is a freaking nature.
He really is scores two dogs sounds last week.
I know he's not gonna do that every week, but we talked about the Cincinnati offense.
They have so many weapons, but tee Higgins to me could you know, this could be a god that barrel really locks in on.
You haven't heard much about John Ross.
He really likes Tyler Boyd.
Uh, you know, a J Green is kind of up and down right now.
I think he's really actually playing hurt, in my opinion.
So if you look at it, Tee Higgins, he actually to me.
And I'm not talking about your normal standard league, but I'm talking about D efs right now.
I think Tee Higgins is a really, really good DFS Fine.
Tee Higgins is in my lineup this week.
So out there, Ugo And you know, Joe Burrow is also not a bad play at his price.
Um, they're going up again, who they have this week.
Is that the Jacksonville? I think.
They're going up against Jacksonville.
You know, we've seen flashes of what Joe Burrows is capable of and, you know, going up against the poor Jacksonville team.
Um, I just you know, they're playing at home.
I just have a feeling that, you know, he may be developing a connection with Tee Higgins.
Green, like you said, have not really been on the same page per se.
Um, you know, Tyler boys out there.
For whatever reason, he's just he's never done anything.
Except for like, those first couple games last year before he got hurt for the year, Ross is lost.
Yeah, And you got our Auden Tate still, you know, sucking up some carry or some catches, but yeah.
I mean, after this this past week, I could see Joe Burrow starting to lean on T.
Higgins a lot more moving forward.
Our girl John is checking, and Niners got to get that win on Sunday night.
Jonah, let me tell you something that it's gonna be tough.
It's gonna be tough.
I think they are a win Sunday night because I have no faith in our Philadelphia Eagles right now.
I'll tell you that.
One thing's for sure, I don't think Nick Mullins is gonna be their own for 354 yards.
I'm just saying, I think that was an aberration, to be honest with you, but who knows? I mean, listen, college China hands one hell of a coach, so if anybody could figure it out, it's him.
But, hey, Jenna had to do a fancy this week.
Did you win or lose? Let us know Andres.
Checking in exactly.
Higgins is a matchup problem.
He's an N B A four.
That just happens to play football.
Absolutely, man. Absolutely.
Higgins three touchdowns, 115 yards, three TDs, 106 yards this week against Jacksonville.
Wow, that's a monster game.
That is a monster game.
Look way got the insider from San Francisco checking in with us right now.
Jenna, we get Kittel back.
So George Kittle looks like Kittles gonna play this week.
That is very interesting.
That's not good news for the Eagles.
And she won't by 10 points. Excellent.
I'm glad that you keep winning, Jenna.
That's what we like to hear. Hear about.
Keep it going, John.
We got to get right into this and Josh Allen and Rogers.
Now I did a couple statistics here, so this the the evolution of these two guys in one year to me is amazing, right? So Josh Allen This year.
After three games, 10 38 10 and 1 10 touchdowns, One interception last year after three games 7 53 and three So the plus 3.
58 a plus seven when we talk about yards and touchdowns are Rogers right now.
8 87 9 and zero.
No pics, no pics.
Last year, this time 6 47 4 touchdowns, no picks.
So he's plus 2 40 plus five.
These two guys have been remarkable.
The reason why I picked these two guys are these air two guys and a lot of people weren't in on Ah, lot of people had their, you know, they, you know, they were uncomfortable, you know? Is this gonna be Aaron Rock? You know, Is it gonna be the Aaron Rodgers of Old is gonna be the Iron Rogers that is, man, because they drafted a guy named Love in the first round, you know, Is he not getting along with that? The floor, you know, is way had all these theories, right? Josh Allen, you know, has no accuracy.
Can't hit the side of a Mack truck, right? This and that.
But at the end of the day, both of these guys So far, both of these guys have been exceptional, absolutely exceptional.
John Josh Allen.
Let's start with him.
Do you see this as a mirage? Or do you see this continuing? Because you are one of the biggest guys I gotta ask you.
You said 3500 yards. No way.
Well, right now he's Ah, third of the way there.
We've only played three games, so I think 35 yards is well within reach for Mr Joshua.
What do you see? Do you see this continuing? Uh, you know, I'm starting to believe a little bit.
Um, I'd still do not see him throwing for over 300 yards every week.
No quarterback really does that.
Okay, So and even Pat Pat Mahomes doesn't even do that, so he will slow down somewhat.
Four touchdown passes in the game, back to back games.
He will slow down somewhat.
It's gonna get cold in Buffalo.
They're gonna want to run the ball in Buffalo.
They got a good defense in Buffalo, and one of the biggest things is he only has one pick on the season.
And that's that is, to me, almost a bigger difference than anything else.
So, you know, like I mentioned before we played against the dolphins, we played against the Jets but he did rams on a bad team.
All right, so I still want to see a little more.
He has another cake walk against the loss.
Las Vegas Raiders out.
Yeah, um, you know, uh and then then it's going to get tough.
Tennessee, Kansas City.
We'll see how it goes.
Uh, you know, the rushing yards will be there with rushing touchdowns will be there.
I am more of a believer.
I've seen enough where I'm actually moved him up toe where most people thought he was gonna be this year.
So I was just lower on them than than many were, Um, but I'll take him on my team.
You have a floor with that rushing ability, you know, you're getting at least six points in rushing yards and most likely a touchdown with that.
So even if he passes for 240 yards and two touchdowns in a pick, it's still a tremendous day.
That's sure that's absolutely right.
I mean, and that's the That's the silent killer.
When you talk about Josh Allen, right, that he can give you that, and he will give you that right? Johnny says she needs Davante Adams of Michael Thomas back.
She has Davante Adams and Michael Thomas.
And she's still one last week.
You must be one hell of a scout, Jenna.
I'll tell you, you might just go without the Eagles.
Now, Jenna, I want to know who the running backs are.
Because I'm assuming you went Thomas and Adams at the turn.
So that's what I want to know.
Who do we take in the 3rd, 3rd and 4th round? Yeah.
Jen, if you're still What? So we're curious? Absolutely.
So let's go to the other end.
And yeah, And again, I don't mean no, wait.
She says she trade it for Michael Thomas.
Okay, okay. I like that.
Look at that, man.
She what? I gave up Zach Moss and Stefon Diggs from Michael Thomas.
Oh, that's interesting.
I would do that deal to I would definitely do that deal.
I mean, listen, and John knows Janet John knows almost Stefon Diggs guy, But if you can give up digs and moss to get in my opinion, the best receiver in fantasy.
Wow, that's a great deal. I like it.
I absolutely like it.
I like that deal, man.
My lord, that's a great deal.
But I'm gonna put you on the spot about Josh down.
It's just because I know that you know that that was your number and you're not alone.
There was a ton of people, a ton of people, ton of skepticism when we talk about Josh Allen.
But let's flip it and talk about the magic man.
And we all thought that Aaron Rodgers was done.
We all thought that, you know, I shouldn't say done, but done as that elite fantasy performer.
Well, I'll tell you, John, right now, my main is getting it done and get it done.
And he's doing things he hasn't done in a long time, and you know that.
That's the one thing that I will say.
Our Rogers looks like a completely different person.
He does, and you're you're talking about right now, you know, he's the number six quarterback in fantasy, the number six quarterback.
He is literally John.
He is on Lee writing.
He's on Lee, seven points behind Patrick Mahomes.
That's how good that Aaron Rodgers has been this year.
Will this continue with our Rogers? Um, I trust it a little bit more.
There's no Mike McCarthy there.
I think he's a lot more.
Just his demeanor seems to be a lot better.
It helps having a running game.
I mean, think about what he's had to endure over the last few years.
I mean, yeah, he had Erin Jones last year, but before that, I mean, I don't even remember who they were putting back there.
Eddie Lacy was back there for a while.
So with Erin Jones that takes the workload off of them, Um, you know, you could always count on him.
Thio not turn the ball over.
Um, you know, the aberration was the Week one game at Minnesota, where he threw for well over 350 yards and four touchdowns, which was a good game.
But the Packers M O isn't really to pass the ball like the Rogers of Old.
They also want to run the ball.
That's why the past two weeks, he's only had 30 and 32 attempts, so I don't see him.
He will have a couple of games where he goes over 300 passing yards, But I think more likely they want to run the ball.
He'll be sitting around that to 62 to 80 range.
Still getting you three touchdowns, definitely two touchdowns.
Probably know picks.
Um, he doesn't really scramble like he used to.
So, you know, I think he He looks very good out there.
But you know, he's gonna be He has a good floor, is what it is.
I think his floors there, he will not finish in the top five a quarterback, Whereas I think Josh Allen could.
Well, here's the interesting part about Aaron Rodgers.
If you look at last year statistics, there's 10 times 10 games.
He finished with under 20 fancy points, technically 10 times under the number of 18 which is not good, right? 10 times.
All right, that's that's way more than half.
And that's not what you expect from your quarterback this year.
We're talking 30 34 20 and 27.
So, um, or like the Aaron Rodgers off old, But you're right, they listen.
They love Erin Jones, they love.
But the one thing I will say about Erin Jones, and now they still have.
They saw Williams out there and they love Dylan A.
Dillan that the rookie.
But they like to throw Erin Jones out there and mismatches, and when they throw him out there, he catches a lot.
So I still think even if I want to run the ball, I still think LaFleur has that that knack for calling up those plays.
And you're right, you know? Listen, his attempts we look at like you said, Is he going to get those, you know, 44 attempts again like you did in Minnesota.
I'm OK, though at 30 and 32.
I'll be honest with you if you're gonna give me 30 and 32.
No doubt I'll method, but you're right about Josh Allen.
Josh Allen is coming.
Right now he's completing over 70% of his passes on Rogers.
Just give me an idea of how good Josh Allen has been already this year.
So you're right.
I think that if Josh Allen out of an Aaron Rodgers, you asked who has finished a top 50 it's definitely definitely more likely that it would be Josh Allen.
That general checks back in and says her third pick was Ertz and her fourth pick was Cooper Cup.
I'll tell you why.
That's one hell of a team, you know.
You try. So, Jenna, I'm curious.
Who's the running back to your team? Jenna.
I'm just curious.
And who have running backs are who your quarterback is because you're talking about Davante Adams.
Michael Thomas, Zach Ertz, Cooper Cup.
Wow, that's pretty impressive.
Pretty impressive. I like that.
I like that now, John.
We talk about every week.
We talked about how you know, we had about 15 minutes left that we talk about our things.
Flip flop, right? So last week I think you agreed.
We talked about the Joshua Kelly factor, you know in L.
You know Joshua Kelly Show.
Now all of a sudden, Anthony Lynn throws for a loop, and it's awesome.
Tacular show again, like you know, it's like you don't know what the like.
I feel like just punching somebody.
Sometimes it's like, Listen, I understand that you know, you don't play fantasy football and you could care less about fantasy football.
But my God, can you make up your god**** mind? Like if it's one or the other? I mean, come on, your freaking killing us real fast creates that Janet checks and she has.
She's got a monster team. John.
She's dak Josh Jacobs.
Just wow, Jenna, can I get in that league next year? I want to get in that league next year.
I'll tell you, man, that's a great squads.
And I I hope you win it all this year because if you could stay healthy on that team, man, you're gonna have a really, really, really good year.
So John Austin, I'll be back on the Echo train job.
I mean, I don't think my mind's change.
There's been a lot of movement on what's going on.
Joshua Kelly is gonna get about 12 touches on the ground.
I would say on average, you know, some games if you know they happen to have a lead or something, Yeah, he may get a little more work.
The surprising thing to me was the 11 passes toe Austin, Eh? Queler, like Tyrod Taylor is not Oh with that's why.
No Tyler Tyrod Taylor.
So now you have Herbert in there.
A normal quarterback, That one that is probably looking at that dump down option Tyrod Taylor was going to ruin Austin.
Eh? Killers receiving stats this year all by himself.
He Tyrod Taylor quarterback would take ECHL er from a low end, one high end to toe, basically amid like a flex player because without without 70 balls for 700 yards and five touchdowns, that's what you're taking away from that.
I mean, his receiving stats.
Heckler as long as Herberts in there getting the work.
I'm not overly concerned with Joshua Kelly, but if anyone thought he was gonna be a number one or number two running back, you can't count on him consistently weak, the weak.
Yeah, I like that.
I like that bull market.
Be checking in. Let's go.
What's up, my man? He said, Say, listen, we still gonna worry about health and fancy, right? Well, I can, But Janet, checking back in here is a good one.
Jenna. Jenna, join us a little late.
Jenna, we did talk about this in the beginning.
What we will say she picked up Greg work.
Can you please give me more insight on him.
There's no Alshon Jeffery there.
It looks like there's no DeSean Jackson.
There's no Jalen Rigor.
Okay? Greg Ward is the number one receiver on this team.
He's the number one receiver on this team.
And I'm telling you, I said this before and I'll say it again.
I picked him to be the number one target.
Get her in the Philadelphia Eagles offense.
So and Carson went, talked him up a ton this week.
And so did Doug Peterson in their press conference as of yesterday.
Which means he's gonna be very involved in the game plan.
There's also our boy.
Andre checked in earlier and said, You know, we made a good point.
There's no Dallas click Dallas Goddard as well.
So now you're down the one tight end right now you're gonna one tight end.
So and part Texan.
And, uh, JJ is 00 Stat line. Yeah.
JJ Ortega Whiteside.
Now you don't have to watch the replay.
Listen, I'm gonna tell you right now, Greg Ward is very very start herbal right now.
Very very start herbal in Philadelphia.
Only because the tremendous amount of injuries and that John said it best.
He's the number one option on a very, very bad team.
So he's gonna get a lot of looks.
So I would I would not be I would not be surprised if he continues to put up some really, really decent numbers.
70 to a one last week.
I could definitely see double digit catches this week from Greg Ward.
I really can eso white *** in.
It's him and Earth.
That's exactly right. Exactly.
And Ma Sanders, I mean, you know how much Ma Sanders gonna play? I don't know.
We know JJ all sucks, right? He's not gonna get nothing, right? I mean, what are they gonna put High Tower out there again? Is he like, Come on, man, Like this is ridiculous.
It's getting old, but he's developing a report with Carson Wentz.
So, Janet, I have confidence that Greg Ward I really dio uh, There's no ended for buts about it.
I definitely have confidence in Greg Ward.
So, John, let me ask you this.
And, you know, we went through the thing and I want to do a little thing.
So just so everybody knows.
You know what we what we want to do on the fancy firebox during the week.
It's kind of recap What had happened the previous week? Look forward to some waiver wire adds.
Then we're gonna talk about some, you know, players that have been really hot.
Some have really been cold.
We're gonna use the the Sunday morning episode on Fox Sports a Gambler.
And this Sunday afternoon episode I say it because I say noon for what's gonna happen that day.
And the reason why I want to do that is because I'm very animate about setting lineup sleep because I know John will tell you the same thing.
You know, projections that coming on Wednesday means absolutely nothing to me because they're going to change.
They all change.
You just never know what's gonna happen.
So we do it live.
So again, catch the firebox every week to recap the previous week.
Look at your waivers.
And then on Sundays we will be live 9.
30 and at noon, whether it be me, myself, me and John, you know I got a buddy Matt coming in.
You know, whoever conjoined join the crew here to get you who we think is gonna be a possible target for weak production.
Right off who is in the Let's Go with the hot players.
Okay, we've already talked about some hot players in Joshua and Aaron Rodgers, but who's in the firebox after three weeks? The first two weeks and we want to cut this down.
We're trying to cut this down into four segments every three weeks, one of recap and see where we're at that.
We could kind of compare week the week John, who's in the firebox after three weeks? I mean, I'll take one of each each of the main positions.
You know, we talked about Josh Allen.
He's in the firebox.
He's doing, you know, amazing things every single week with his play.
Andi, you would think with them winning in the style that they wanna play, he wouldn't be doing as much as he is.
But Josh Allen big surprise.
He's on fire, you know, the ex home for Leonard, for Net and James Robinson killing it, you know, they let for net go start James Robinson every week, feel comfortable with them as your number two running back out of nowhere, undrafted and many of leagues because it was, you know, a zig bow.
And who was in Rajkot.
And then they both went on at the beginning of the season and let for net go.
And here comes James Robinson.
He never looked back.
So that's that's That's my guy, too.
And then you know it.
He was, ah, hired round draft pick.
But Calvin Ridley, how can How can you not go with Calvin Ridley? I mean, you know, even with you know, that Matt Ryan's gonna throw the ball, Atlanta's gonna pass the ball.
Atlanta hasn't won much, so they're gonna be behind in games.
And even with Julio there, there are not.
Ridley is getting some serious work.
And I'll tell you what, I have him.
I would say he's top three in the NFL right now.
I might rather have him than anybody.
You got all these other guys air coming or have have injuries that they're dealing with.
I mean, I know Michael Thomas is the best, but Greece hasn't looked at good and coming back from this injury, it may take him a little bit, you know, we got Julio and Devante deal with hamstrings.
I'm just saying Calvin really is the truth, man.
You know how much I love Calvin Ridley? Really? You dio and and I'm gonna go backwards, you know, You went, you know, forward I go backwards, we'll pick it right up on a wide, wide receiver position and we talk about I got it in the firebox from May.
Okay, Tyler Lockett.
You know, a guy who I did not expect Toby in a firefight, and basically, you could say Thai lock N D. K. Medicaid.
I mean, we're talking about two guys that, quite frankly, is gonna hit 1000 yards receiving this year and could both scored double digit touchdowns.
That's how good of a year Russell Wilson is having when we talk about the ball.
And we did talk about this in the preseason when we broke down the NFC West that Russell Wilson went to the head coach said, Hey, Pete, listen, I wanna share the ball out more.
We need to be more of an aerial attack when it comes to offense, and that's exactly what they're doing running back for me.
It's, you know, I know he's the number one guy, but I have to talk about him because Alvin Kamara, because I picked you know, I picked Dalvin Cook to be, quite frankly, the number two fantasy running back, you know, under Christian McCaffrey.
And I'll tell you why.
Alvin Kumar is 38 points higher than any other running back in the league right now.
He has 27 catches already, John for 300 yards.
It's ridiculous what he's doing out there.
I mean, just for, ah, full point.
6 points per game.
The next nearest guy is Erin Jones, a 26.
He's almost a plus 10.
But, I mean, he's not even in the firebox.
Dude, he's in the god**** chamber.
He is like you a little bit with 18 matches, man.
That's how that's how hot he is right now on when we look at the quarterback position, you know, you talk about Josh, how obviously 100%.
But I got to talk about my boy Ross.
I dio you know Russell Wilson is playing out of his mind.
And I know the funny thing is him and Josh.
How are separated by 3/10 of a point when you talk about per game average and their fancy point total, they're separated by +11 point.
That's how good Josh Allen has been.
But Russell Wilson? Let's talk about 14 touchdowns.
John 14 touchdowns, two guys in double digits right now, Josh Down and Russell Wilson and Russell Wilson is plus four and has Onley thrown one pick.
He's not even running a lot this year.
John at all, which is, is something to me that says a lot when we talk about him asking for that aerial attack.
So I'll tell you what.
If you have any of those guys on your roster right now, I mean they are.
They are absolutely on fire now on the flip side, on the flip side, we have to talk about guys that are basically in the North Pole, man, guys that are so **** cold that I don't even know if a fire can help melt the ice.
And there's a couple of those guys John, lead us off whatever way you want to G.
O, who for you needs to be lit up right now.
Oh, I'm gonna go with the Cleveland Browns quarterback staff as we've done for the past 20 years.
He is just not a good quarterback.
So I had him written first, but I gotta go.
I mean, in reality, I had him, you know, looking at him is a top 10 quarterback.
He, you know, we talked yesterday.
He looks he is not confident.
He's not making the throws, He's not making the decisions.
And, you know, going from what I felt very comfortable with in terms of a Winston Breeze strategy at quarterback now looks very poor.
Alright, so once is in the ice chamber.
I got another pair here.
I'm going Miami Dolphins backfield and how Jordan Howard and Matt Brita have no role in the offense.
Why? I know I shouldn't say that Howard gets has, like, seven carries on the year for like six yards and three touchdowns, but you know Myles Gaskin coming.
You know he couldn't even get a chance last year.
He's looked decent.
He's catching the ball. Know Brianna.
He's running the ball.
No, Howard, but biggest disappointment.
And in the ice chest, Joe Mixon? Yeah.
Mixed rushing for like, a poultry like 3.
2 yards per carry Thinking that, you know, with Joe Burrow that, you know, this offense might have some semblance to it and and be ableto run the ball, maybe even get a lead in the game or something.
Um, but Joe Mixon he always starts off slow.
I would be what I'm looking to buy low on Joe Mixon.
Um, you know, I'm not giving up a lot, but Joe Mixon could really turn around in the second half.
Lastly, Baker Mayfield counterpart O B. J.
I just want to know who actually thought he was gonna do something this year.
The same guy thought he was gonna do something last year.
O b J has all the talent in the world and will not put it together for a top five wide receiver season for fantasy for the rest of his career on and where he waas and where he should be.
He will not do it for the rest of his career.
So if you draft him is a top five, you're crazy.
That's a big statement, John a really big statement.
But you're right.
I mean, you know, maybe it's change of scenery.
You know, I think the guy is and I'm gonna say it again.
But I just don't understand where that talents coming from.
John is checking and giving us a score.
She's going e 24 fourty Niners.
You know what, China? I kind of like it.
I dio I hate to say it, but I honestly dio I mean, 14 is probably the mat.
Maybe maybe I'll give him a field goal.
May be given 17.
I could see that.
Maybe scoring 17 points. Not sure.
Only because we don't have your boy both they contend with out there.
But at the end of the day, man, I still think the Niners win this game.
Unfortunately, so good.
Good call, Johnny.
I like I love Carson throws to i n t s.
I'm not gonna listen that you're gonna tell you something the way we kill, you know, I know you're from San Francisco, but if you want a list of our podcast and we did last night and I was absolutely killing Carson Wentz along with a lot of people.
You would know that we definitely We definitely would not think that would be something that's not in his future to throw to pick.
So absolutely, I I could definitely see that as well.
I just want to say Yeah.
If the score is gonna be 24.
14 it has to be to Carson.
Pics of Carson doesn't throw two interceptions.
The game scores a lot closer.
Yeah, you could be right.
You don't have no faith in Nick Mullins? Yeah.
Uh, Andre is coming in with eagles.
Went a weird with win with a weird 22 toe. 15.
Coming off a 23 23 times.
Listen to 2000 and 20 man.
Who the hell knows? I could see it 20.
That's a Carson Wentz.
Past two Miles Sanders and five field goals.
Wow, by Jake Elliott.
The guy that that Doug Pearson didn't want to use, but that's that's a topic for another day.
Okay, that's time for another guy.
Let me get toe my icebox.
God's God's been living in a fricking North Pole for the last three weeks.
One guy you can't call yourself Hollywood John.
If you can't catch the ball right, you can't call yourself Hollywood Brown.
You can't be sitting there on instagram flexing and showing all your workout videos and say, Yeah, I'm gonna go get it When all you've done this year, it's caught zero touchdowns and average a poultry 9.
2 points per game in fantasy and full point PPR.
So guess what? Hollywood Change the name because it ain't happening right now when we're talking about fancy football running back position, you know, there's a bunch of guys I think you know.
You you hit on, you know, one of them.
Obviously, when we talk about, you know, uh, what you call it, um, Jordan Howard who? A lot of people thought I was gonna have it carved out a decent role for himself.
It was gonna be okay.
But what about canyon Drake? Man, You know, we bought a lot of stock in the Canyon. Drake.
Everybody thought Canyon Drake what's going to be the guy? Because they looked at the last eight games last year and they said, wow, if and I know John hates this because I'm a big proponent of this, and John is a big opponent of it.
When I say if you spread that out over 16 games, Okay, this is what this guy is projected to dio.
Well, right now, he ain't doing nothing.
Nothing? Absolutely not.
He's giving you. Ah, Flat.
2 points per game.
That is not getting done.
We talked about Can you drink? So he is so god**** cold you to break him with a sledgehammer and then worry about the quarterback position, Okay? There's a bunch of guys we can throw.
It is, but you know what? Hey, Drew.
It might be over, brother.
Drew Brees. It just might be over.
Okay, I'm just gonna call it like it is.
I mean, we're talking about you.
You are not the same guy when your when your head coach and offensive coordinator actually called plays to save your arm.
That's not good.
So when you're talking about fantasy, Drew Brees, I'll tell you what In a league that I was told somebody dropped him, John, they dropped Drew Brees.
Did you ever think in fantasy football that Drew Brees would be drop a ball.
I did not think so, But maybe is this year right now? John.
Right now Drew Brees, the 21st ranked quarterback in fantasy, behind guys like Ryan Fitz. Patrick.
Listen, you know, you gotta hang it up in fantasy when Ryan Fitzpatrick is making more points than you, okay? And you're getting dropped.
So I'll tell you what, man.
That is my ice chest of the week.
Those three guys really need to step it up.
Yeah, well, I know, but I'll say this.
My mixing and Drake.
I'm buying low on those guys.
Break, Look, break A.
Drake got over 50 60 catches like last year.
He's not catching the ball this year.
He only has, I think, 55 receptions on the season.
He was getting five a game last year, so there's a big difference.
That's where is that That and only having one touchdown.
That's where it is.
He's getting the volume he's get.
I think he had, like, 16 2018 carries in his game.
So he's getting the volume, which is good to see because the fear would be Chase.
Edmunds takes over and takes the drunk out, but he's not.
He's not really taking volume away, so I think the stats will come on.
Hopefully mixing mixing always seems to turn around in the second half.
So Janice says we ain't losing to the Eagles and Jenna, you're probably right, Mike says.
I was wonder what the line was for a tie last week.
You know what? Like I I'm so bad with that.
I do a print out in lines every Sunday that I want to throw them out.
I actually my goal was this year to actually keep a copy of a week in and week out, kind of like go back and do some, you know, ****ytical stuff.
But I'll just tell you, dude, I got too much going on way too much.
I let my boy Mark John Miller, pick that up because he is the stat machine.
When it comes to that, Uh, it's called the Camara Fact.
I know Andres talking about Drew.
Drew got a call from the office.
Hand the ball to the big track.
Ain't that the truth? Right hand at the big contract, because that's exactly man Alvin Kamara's ball in my man.
He is balling. Absolutely.
But again, John, we're going in a week.
Four, you know, And we got about two minutes left, you know? And listen, like I told you, we're gonna go ahead.
Have you done a DFS lineup yet this week, have you? So let me ask you who who right now is way? Obviously, no, we could edit it because it is only Wednesday.
But who right now is in your d f? Let me ask some.
Who's your Who's your top two money guys in your DFS lineup this week? I'm curious because last week I got it wrong.
I got the stack wrong.
I went with the Arizona stack.
I should have went with the Seattle stack.
If I'm gonna get the Seattle Stack would have been good.
Did you go to stack this week or or yes, I did.
I went with Atlanta.
Okay, so I talked about Calvin Ridley.
Matt Ryan still likes to put the ball, and then in there he was only 6000 on draftkings, which puts him about ranked number 16.
Okay, He's actually behind Joe Burrow for this week, and they got a big matchup at Green Bay.
Aaron Rodgers, Matt Ryan Shootout.
Um, you know, and Calvin Ridley.
He's just balling.
So those those were my That's my stack there.
Um, you know, the running back position we talked about James Robinson can't go wrong with him.
Um, I'm going with Devin Singletary.
They have They have a good matchup at Las Vegas.
Who knows if he's gonna be back? Singletary should be able to get the workload.
Um, talked about I told you, Tee Higgins, I'm sticking them in there this week.
He's only 4500 on draftkings.
So good value there.
And actually, my ice chest player that I have o b j is in the lineup this week.
Whoa! BJ Sarkin o b j.
They're playing at Dallas.
He wants he wants the limelight there in that big d big d he wants to perform.
And he was only 5800 bucks, so I'm thinking he could have a big game.
Maybe Baker Mayfield could close his eyes and hit him with a couple of all, uh, baby.
Listen, man, maybe he maybe maybe baker need to take a trip to the Playboy Mansion or something, because that's I usually work from that line and for a couple weeks.
So maybe you could work for Baker.
Who knows? He needs to do something, because listen, he's just not it right now.
He's just not unless he's just hand the ball off the neck chopper throughout the Kareem Hunt all day, then maybe hope you.
Okay, but you know, Yeah.
I mean, listen it I mean, it's so hard for me to watch it, dude.
Seriously, because I was a big baker guy.
I wanted Baker, and I just you know, I thought, Well, this will be the year because, you know, Freddie Kitchen was a complete mess and he went through so many, you know, coaches and offensive coordinators.
And now he's gonna get a real guy Kevin Stefanski.
And it's just not happening. John.
Just not happening.
But listen, we're gonna close out 56 minutes on the firebox today.
We said we would go 45.
I got sweating a little bit, which is all good, Janet, Thanks for checking in is all.
Look at this Janet getting in before the the gusts up here.
Nick Mullen starts to touchdown and Fred Water gets a sack and an interception way.
It's great about this.
We go back and watch the replay and all the comments are saying so.
Jennet, we're gonna keep these comments and we're going to see these kind of for wish.
And I'll between you on Sunday for Riel Andre Checking it.
Well, I don't think the Browns offense is gonna be on the fuel long for O B J to have a good game.
So again, everybody for checking.
And I really, really appreciate John.
Appreciate this office is the heat ratio.
Like I said, we're going to recap.
We're gonna do something, you know, interesting plays of the week and things of that nature.
But if you want us to streamline the rosters and then break down the games, we're gonna do that on Sunday mornings, 9.
