Good morning, everybody.
So today, uh, is really a history shifting day for the Los Angeles Lakers? Hey, look at that, James Davis.
A chance for three.
If you're telling me that LeBron James has Anthony Davis available to him Excuse me.
I'm rolling with the Lakers to win the title.
May her first of many baby did.
What was he doing with drinking coffee with e E U way all get a way.
You, uh Hey, guys, Look to the late night Lake Show podcast pregame show ahead of Game one of the MBA Finals.
Man, it's Ricky Kwamie.
We got guests in the building.
Off to the side.
You hear Jake jangling up a ****tail in the back of the house? Mixologist, what's going on? Everybody? Game one, man.
Kwame, you have been here nine out of the last 10 years as a LeBron supporter.
Laker nation has been patiently waiting.
Will use patiently in air quotes, um, 10 years to get back to the spot.
Um, if you guys listen to the last podcast, Army and swamis levels of excitement where one of us has been here multiple times recently, and one of us was excited to get back, but regardless, man, it's so great to be in the n b A Finals.
We're gonna break down, talk all that good talk all the top story lines on the pregame show.
We got a guest coming on Jason from hoops hype.
Excited to bring him on about 15 20 minutes.
Chop it up with him and chop it up with y'all.
Let us know what you think.
Leave some comments.
We are we here, let us know.
We asked him first off Lakers and what what's the prediction? Let us know.
We already asked for me.
We'll start off with that.
We'll get into the reasons why, but let the people know what your prediction is for the N B. A finals.
Honestly, man, I feel like Lakers in five, man.
But you know, something tells me I should say six, but I'm gonna go with five, man.
I'm gonna go more with five.
I mean, LeBron, like he said in his pregame, There's a pre finals presser.
You know, this almost locked in.
He's been in his whole career so scary.
If he's locked in, he's really ready to go.
He knows this you know, he's been to plenty of finals, and he's, you know, as we all know, he's lost more than the one he not.
I don't think he wants to add to that resume.
So I see him coming out here and, you know, playing some of the best basketball he's played in a long time.
So, you know, and Anti Davis and all those other guys And, you know, even the veterans that have been here before, such as Rondo and Dwight Howard they even spoke on, you know, they haven't been back in this position and, you know, a decade plus, so you know you can't take it for granted.
When you get here, you really got to capitalize on that moment and having that mixture of veterans and new guys and just that collective knowledge of, you know, we know that we gotta seize this opportunity.
You know, we might not be here again next year, the year after the year after that.
So, you know, I think this team will do its best job, really trying to make sure that they could get this taken care of, so I'm gonna go with them in five.
I think you know Pat will be able to sneak out or Sorry.
Spoke will be able to sneak out some sort of game plan that, you know, I confuse us for a game a little bit, Yeah, he might give us something, or we might have a cold night or something like that.
Um, that could always happen.
But ultimately I think will come out very in a very dominant fashion And take this home.
So I'm excited for man.
I'm excited for it.
Quite getting right to a Lakers in five.
I got some questions about your boy.
Now that we have finals time, Mr Lebron, because, you know, this is still the first reunion together stepping into the finals together in this the Union LeBron nation and Lakers nation.
So there have been questions about what we gonna do.
Well, lebron's gonna dio once he gets to the, you know, to the altar, and it's timeto, you know, make it happen.
I got Lakers in five because I trust that LeBron has another level in him.
And even if he didn't what he's been done so far, this run, I think, is enough to put the Lakers over the top, plus whatever defensive strategy the the Heat tried to throw at him.
But if this man still got another door to unlock, I don't see you.
How it couldn't possibly not be a sweep situation, right? I'm giving the Heat one game because there are respectful franchise, right? I said Portland and five, I said Nuggets in five.
Do I think the three Heat deserve an extra game? Maybe it feels the second round, but not in the MBA Finals.
Because for the reasons I just said LeBron James about to really turn up, man had what, 38 16 and 11 10 in a close out game like that's That's a little concerning that.
Like even as a fan, you watch that and you watching LeBron do is ****, and you like hell Going on, man, get the kids upstairs.
Go, go, go, go, go, go! You know, it's about to be a little crazy scene in the movie you like.
All right? Meow, meow, meow.
Meow! About this, um, grown folks **** go down.
And that's what LeBron does.
And that's what he did.
And if this man is telling us that his eyes he's seen red, and this is as motivated as he's ever been.
I think it's going to be bad for the boys in South Beach.
There are plenty off, um, professionals in the business that, you know, they think that the Miami Heat are gonna win.
Okay, Alright, fine.
Are you heat reporters? No, no.
Their national reporters that get paid to cover the entire MBA on They're predicting the heat in seven and six and stuff like Tyler hero is going to be the finals.
M v P C Warren, Can you pull the graphic up for us, please? Crombie? Just talking through what ****ing sense the **** like this make.
Oh, my goodness.
I mean, we know what Bill Simmons issue is off.
We know he's born that hate. Yes, sir.
I mean, these other guys, I just don't understand.
So one, the two guys and say the heat and seven LeBron James is not losing a Game seven.
I can promise you that There is no way if it gets to seven games, is he not going to come out and perform? Come on.
You know, he's been in two game sevens and NBA Finals, and he's won them both.
He does not playing games.
Do not get it Twisted the heat literally.
In my opinion, if they were to win, which I don't think they will, their only chance would be to win in six.
They're not sleeping.
They're not winning in five and they're not winning in seven.
So their best hope is to somehow manages.
Get toe win in six.
Tyler Hero finals. M v P. He's a rookie, man. I get it.
The kicking ball.
He plays well, but we're talking about He's going to be the best player in the entire finals.
Way had Steph Curry has no final's MVPs and this is a generational talent, and we're talking about Tyler hero here.
Really, that's disrespectful.
That's disrespect. Disrespectful.
These got to be means.
These guys air trolling us.
This can't be riel.
I can't buy into it.
I need Well, first of all, because we didn't do it and you brought it up, but we didn't get a chance to do it on the podcast.
Let's just take a couple of seconds to **** on the Celtics grave one more time.
Boston Celtics fans.
Maybe you guys are used to this by now.
Going out early in the playoffs, you guys would probably rather be in the playoffs and then not in the playoffs.
I understand that. I get that.
Do you see the ceiling that's above your head? Do you see that log? That thing you can't break through with draft picks and young prospects.
Lakers had young prospects once traded for a superstar sent him to Siberia, southern Siberia.
When and God a God who, by the way, said I'm not going to that franchise, his father said.
I'm not going to a city like that.
How does it feel? The once again beyond the sidelines, not touching an NBA Finals appearance? Since you face the Lakers? Mhm goes aviators.
Who is this blue? Hon Does Heat Haters Dog.
He got the wrong show.
I respect the heat.
I think they're a good team, But do I think they're better than the Lakers? No, that's just what it is.
I actually really like the team they were playing.
Anybody else, That one. The Lakers.
I'll probably be room for them.
I like E, like the composition I like.
The players are like they style, but I mean, the Lakers have gone through teams that each Siri's.
They said we was gonna be hung up on them.
We wouldn't be able to take these guys there some some reason why the other team will beat us.
They said we played the most dangerous eight seed ever in the history of eight season.
The most dangerous.
It's everybody else's fault.
Except for Heat Nation.
Let's just get like this. Called Spade a spade.
I would assume most Lakers fans enjoy the Miami Heat and how they play basketball and even the players and the dogs that they have on their team.
Right? They got some Hooper **** way in Chicago, right? Jimmy Butler grew up as an MBA player here.
We found in love with Jimmy buckets, right? Alright, never mind.
He was a cast fan at the time, right? Jimmy got his personality on the basketball court a lot from how the Bulls raised him, So let's get that out the way.
There's no disrespect for the Miami Heat.
Disrespect will come though two professionals that get paid to cover the entire sport of basketball and say dumb **** like this.
It's a little extreme.
That's a bit extreme.
Like Heat Nation.
I would question, Ah, Heat fan that when I talk to them would say that they don't like their chances.
They worked their ass off to get here.
They should feel confident.
They all junk yard dogs.
Nothing more dangerous than a starving dog.
That's what the whole team is.
But once again, a lot of these reporters ain't missing no meals.
Then they just getting paid to spew out bull****.
And then us Lakers fans react to it.
And then sometimes other franchises catch a stray in the process, and it is what it iss Yeah, man, I mean again, it's nothing personal to the eat or nothing.
I like their team, but unfortunately, you know, there are opponent, and I think we got the upper hand.
I mean, they're a great team.
They've had quite to run this playoffs.
They've showed everybody again.
They're the best team in the East.
They beat the Bucks, beat the Celtics, clapped up.
The pace is you know, they didn't have Ah, easy wrong here.
But I mean what we're supposed to say that he's gonna beat us.
You see, that's why we're talking about some of the other.
The subject at hand.
We got avoid Jason coming on In a few minutes, we're gonna pick his brain about some MBA topics as far as this matchup, right? I think I think Miami poses some interesting scenarios that the Lakers have thio adjust for sure people are saying solve for I think that's a little crazy since ah, lot of these defense's Lakers fans have already Lakers have already seen.
I don't think there's a defense in the n b A LeBron hasn't seen.
I'm gonna be honest guys in the league 17 seasons and been, you know, a top one or two players for basically his entire career.
You're telling me there's defense is he still hasn't seen who was my man that threw out some old three year footage.
Three year old footage of LeBron with Larry names Junior and who Rodney Hood on the court talking about? This is how you stop LeBron.
He's in the wrong ****ing uniformed man.
What are we doing then I'm going post the video.
The Lakers highlights from this season against the heating And what everybody say, actually.
Hey, hey, hey, That's old footage to the heat.
Have new players, Meyers.
Leonard doesn't play anymore. All right.
Do you see what we responded to? The man who actually posted some three year old footage? Whatever facts, the alternative facts, whatever you enjoy. Enjoy.
What? You enjoy that ****? What else? What else? What else we got? You know, we got some of those other topics coming up. Jake.
Oh, ****. I'm right on top of this one.
Our boy Jakes in the room.
Jake, You got a couple of words.
You could stay off the set.
You don't have to hop on Lakers.
Why is that? Will be a nice It's a sweet.
They got to LeBron killers.
They couldn't stop him in his prime.
What do you mean? They said they have two guys that are the best in the league at guarding LeBron James.
They Tyler here will be the M v p.
There, every one's opinion with void.
LeBron's putting up 45 tonight.
Oh, that zoo 45.
That's big, Big that big words that big numbers e.
I mean, I'm just saying, Man, the East has nobody even remotely like Anthony Davis.
They've never seen an Anthony Davis and they don't have anybody to guard Anthony Davis.
Hey, Bam is a great player.
Bam is a good young player.
He dominated that Boston Siri's.
He locked up on its Kwamie Al Anthony Davis's bag is like seven layers deeper than Yanis is back.
The guy could play and he scored all three levels.
Yana scores it like 1.5.
It's very different.
It's very different.
Hey, man, all Hey Bam! Hopefully No, I can't.
I can't even speak.
I can't even speak on it.
I just don't think that because we like Bam.
I like Bam and I don't want and I want to slander him.
I like ****, I'm a fan, but I just can't see.
I can't see him locking up a guy who's basically been averaging a 30 ball the whole playoffs against all.
Defense is he went against 27 footers.
He went against, you know, the unstoppable 65 Stump P. J.
Tucker went against You know, your kitchen chair.
Me, All those this guy's seen a lot of different defense is that air that air curated to slow him down, and he's still bald out.
Time in and time out.
He could go toe halftime with six points.
He's gonna end up with 29.
It just the guy complain, man.
We gotta stop discrediting superstar superstars.
When you play a team over and over, you start to get a you start to get used to their tendencies, their plays and all that other stuff.
But it's the superstars that carry you to the next level, and we have the two best in the world.
Indeed, not just in the Siri's, not just in Los Angeles.
We have that, too.
But in the world, that's a tough combination to stop.
That's really tough.
What are you supposed to do? The last subject? Last little quick, Tibbett.
Before we bring Jason on, let's just let's just just just stack them up.
Since they like talking about the Heat's depth versus the Lakers top heavy roster, we set it on the podcast.
Jimmy Butler is a top 15 NBA player.
Kwamie just laid out the reasons that the Lakers have two of the best players in the NBA, let alone number one and number two remaining in the bubble.
I appreciate everybody that's still living by the Hoosiers.
It takes a team off, everybody pulling their weight all in, pull on the rope from the same side.
All types of Rob Rob bull****, Right when you have two guys on another stratosphere from any person that's lining up against them and they are not mute or liars or aloof, and they're actually both leaders and can corral the troops around them, it's a different basketball game.
There's a reason why the Lakers are.
I think Caesar's had a 60 63% favor.
Oh, I think that's a little love e, but I mean, but, hey, there's reasons why people feel good about the Miami Heat's depth when it comes up against the Lakers, and I think that's a good opportunity to bring our guests on.
Jason, he's Ah, What's up, guys? You're dating.
What's going on, man? Welcome to the pregame show. Oh, wait. Hang on.
I ain't even got.
I can't even hear you, man.
We gotta get the mix and stuff.
You get you here.
Thanks for having me on, guys.
I appreciate you, buddy.
Okay? I can't hear ****.
Your, uh, all right.
We're like, All right, There we go.
Jason, can you hear me? Yes, I can.
Thanks for the invite, guys.
I appreciate it.
All right, my man.
Appreciate you coming on the pregame show, Jason.
First of all, why don't you tell everybody where they could find you and find your work that you are contributing out into these MBA streets? Well, my twitter handle is underscored, Jason.
I'm trying to get something set up right now, or I'll be doing some form of podcast.
It just got some new hardware.
But in the meantime, I've just been doing some periscope live stuff every other day or so to try to get something going.
But hopefully at some point in the future, I'm kind of an amateur at this, especially with text stuff.
So hopefully by the start of next season, I'll have something a little bit more sophisticated.
I love you guys is set up.
This is awesome.
so if I could get to something like this one day, I'd be doing just fine.
I think I appreciate you.
We saw you on the on the periscope of lives with our boivin A.
We had to check into what you guys were talking about.
They was in the nitty gritty.
You know, there's talking X's and O's and not about hose.
You know what I'm saying? So we appreciate what you could way off the line way professionalism, but this is kind of a laid back podcast.
But, uh, any of Jason, uh, once again, thanks for coming on.
We wanted to bring you on and talk specifically about the battle off the contributors, right? The Lakers have their supporting cast and KCP Dwight Howard Ragen Rondo playoff Rondo that have been stepping up in really putting in some Gooding minutes for the Lakers.
Look over at the other side.
People are praising the Miami Heat, you know, depth and, you know, flat line of organization where everybody contributes right for success.
In your opinion, do you think this is a even match up? Or do you really think the Miami Heat's depth in their personnel kind of outweigh everybody, except for LeBron James and Anthony Davis outside of Jimmy Butler and Bam. Of course.
Well, it all has to do with whatever your personal formula is for winning.
If I'm watching Miami, their two best players Jimmy Butler and demand by or not big time scores.
So as I'm going down their roster and I'm looking at their role players, I do expect a lot because if I don't get a lot from them, chances are they're going to lose.
Their formula is based on guys like Tyler Herro and Goran Dragic and Jimmy Butler on any given night coming through and giving you 20 plus points.
And from that standpoint, it's so much more important for their role players to come through.
So as I'm going down the Miami list as I'm going down their roster, it's more important for me to see big, dependable names further down the list.
From the beginning of the season, the Lakers formula was simple.
They have two guys or the two of the top five players in the league and they depend on them to provide the lion's share of their offensive production and honestly, if they get anything else other than just solid defense in a lack of mistake's from their role players.
It's a huge win from that standpoint.
From the beginning of the year, we saw them win at the highest level, regardless of what their role players brought to the table because they're formula works.
They were the best team in the league this year against teams that were 500 or better.
They had shown the ability to beat all of the contending our officers if I had seen some sort of issue somewhere along the way where it was clear that their lack of production from their role players was a problem, that we could have that conversation.
But it's clearly not the case.
They were the best team in the league in the regular season.
They rolled through the Blazers, they rolled through the Rockets and they rolled through the Nuggets without ever needing much from their role players.
And so I think a lot of casual fans who haven't watched the Lakers very closely, it's very easy for them to get caught up in the depth of their roster.
When the reality is is that's by design.
If they get Alex Caruso running up and down the floor, running a bunch of pick and rolls and generating open shots.
That's just a huge plus.
That's not what they're expecting from him.
Even with guys like Rondo, who are expected to do something offensively, they're they're just hoping that Rondo will keep the ship afloat.
Their hope with Rondo is that LeBron will go to the bench for a few minutes and that he will be able to run coherent enough offense that they won't completely blow the lead.
But that that if what that's what's been so funny is in these playoff games, where Rondo has been really good, the Lakers have been dominant because that's just that's that's above and beyond what they're expecting.
There was a crazy stat that was going around last week that the Lakers are undefeated in playoff games, where they've shot at least 30% from three, and from that standpoint, like 30% that's way below the bar average.
They're not asking for much from those guys.
They're just asking for them to, for lack of a better word.
As long as they don't soil themselves, the Lakers will win.
That's the and that's by design.
And so, if the primary things we should be watching with the Lakers or LeBron and a D if, for whatever reason, LeBron and Aid start, you know, putting multiple games together in this Siri's where they don't look like they're demonstratively better than everybody on the Miami roster.
Now we have an issue with their winning formula, and now it's the time to get worried.
That's good stuff, Jason.
I got a question for you, man.
Do you think that the Miami he could score enough eso They have some good players, but they don't really have players that explode for 25 plus on the regular eso they played MGP Tyler hero.
Oh, right, But to me, it just seems like the East versus West.
Obviously, the East play styles more a little bit more defensive, a little slower, Um meanwhile, the West The Lakers have seen some high powered offenses and some high offensive players.
You know, we see Day Miller, C J.
McCollum, Russell Westbrook, James Harden, Jamal Murray, Yokich.
Our is our game plan.
Thio slow those guys down.
How could Miami outscores some of the best scores collectively, second defense in the bubble.
Yeah, so I mean, the one of the biggest things that you'll see with defensive metrics is teams from the Eastern Conference will kind of congregate around the top.
And a lot of the times that has to do with the fact that there's just not a lot of super high end offensive talent in the Eastern Conference and one of the most impressive things that the Lakers did this series.
They finished third overall in defense despite being in the Western Conference behind I believe, Only Boston in Milwaukee.
And so what's interesting about that is despite playing significantly more offensive talent night in and night out, they were getting stops at a peak Eastern Conference level.
And so one of the things that's been glossed over in this entire process and the thing that makes no sense to me is you'll constantly hear them talk about how Miami is this tough Eastern Conference defense.
That's got all of these bodies to throw it LeBron and all of these bodies to throw it Anthony Davis.
But it completely glosses over the fact that arguably the Lakers at the best defense in the league in the league this year It was not only with personnel because they got LeBron engaged from the first day of training camp, but they also and Anthony Davis, who probably should have been defensive player of the Year.
But they also have a really, really smart defensive scheme, which is basically designed along the principles of chasing guys off the three point line and making them run into all of their size.
And when you've got Dwight Howard and Anthony Davis constantly patrolling the paint, even LeBron has been a really good RIM protector this year.
From that standpoint, their defensive scheme makes sense for their talent, and they have enough defensive talent to be, you know, one of the best defenses in the league.
And they showed that from start to finish this year, Miami, without a doubt, is a inferior offensive team to what the Lakers have played.
It played in each of the first three rounds.
In my opinion, now there's some stuff there with Houston after they let go of the rope when you know James Harden is giving up the ball at half court and kind of walking back and if they didn't look as good, but in terms of talent.
The offensive talent in the Western Conference is way superior.
Now, at the end of the day, there just isn't a lot of evidence between the east and West because they don't play each other anywhere near Azaz much.
So I think we're gonna find out pretty quickly here in the next few days.
Just how big of a gap that is.
Um, but I Whatever issues that Miami is gonna be able to give L a scoring the basketball l A.
Is gonna be able to duplicate that to a much higher level against Miami's offense.
Wow. We like the sound of that.
You see that? You see that? You heard that? We heard the preaching.
Jason was doing way that the word on here That was beautiful, man.
Before we get you out of here, brother, we of course, we need a prediction.
We got you on candy camera.
So of course the people need to know.
Give me a Siri's.
How long does it go? And who is our finals? M v p eso? I'm gonna be leaning towards LeBron for finals M v p.
Just because of the way that the matchups work.
I think they're They're zone defense that they're gonna go to frequently and bam out of bio is gonna make it so that Anthony Davis is gonna have mawr.
He's not gonna have bad numbers by his standards, but I don't think he's going to get you 35 points tonight.
Spoelstra is definitely not going to allow that to happen, LeBron.
The way that this Siri's is set up, he's gonna have to be the q architect of the way that they beat this Miami defense.
And when you're watching, you know, narratives that usually end up controlling finals. M v p.
And when you're watching, you know Jeff Van Gundy and Mark Jackson ****yzing what's happening on the court, they're gonna constantly be talking about how LeBron's finding holes in his own defense and all this other stuff.
So everything's kind of setting up for him to get finals M v p.
But the reality is, is they're not winning unless both of them play like two of the best players in the world.
So it would be unfortunate if that whole narrative things surrounding finals M v.
P denigrates either player because they both deserve all the credit for what has made this team successful, but I got Lakers in five.
It kind of reminds me of the way I feel I felt about the Denver Siri's going in.
I see this list of advantages that the teams can gain.
And when you start to talk about the different advantages the Lakers can gain, it starts and ends with their two best players in the fact that their defense is so elite.
And it's hard to imagine a world where Miami can find enough of an advantage to pull out more than a game or two and s.
Oh, yeah, I feel pretty strongly about Miami or excuse me about Lakers and five.
That's where I'm at right now.
Yeah, we were right there.
Kwame and I both had Lakers in five, and it's, you know, it's not a discredit to the Miami Heat.
They are very good ball club, You know, there's just firepower, questions, defense questions.
You know, we're not talking nearly enough about some of the Miami Heat's key contributors not being ableto one on one guard a brick wall.
But I guess we'll address that after Game one.
Well, and I'll lead you guys one last stat here, like the actually put this out earlier today.
But a lot of times we overcomplicate things and we look for too much instead of simplifying things.
One of my favorite things.
Even though I've played basketball and and been around the game most of my life, I've always tried to simplify it rather than over complicating it.
And the bottom line is this year the Lakers scored the basketball and defended the basketball better than the Heat, both coming into the bubble and in the playoffs.
In the regular season, the Lakers were fourth on offense and third on defense.
The Heat were seventh on offense and 14th, um, defense.
And then in the playoffs, the Lakers were second on offense and fifth on defense, and the Heat were fourth on offensive, seventh on defense.
So, regardless of of over complicating things, the Lakers air better offensive team and they're better defensive team.
And generally speaking, that's gonna be the team that wins a Siri's also.
Really appreciate it, my man.
Have a good rest of day with man.
Will. You will talk to you soon. Yes, sir.
Thank you. Thank you.
Alright, that is underscored. Jason.
Lt make sure you go follow him.
But we only bring, you know, the most.
He was spending low key.
Kind of sounded like Rob Pelinka.
Lower Pelinka. Hey.
Had nice cadence in the way that he presented his information like a It's good stuff, man, but, I mean, at the end of the day, the most important thing came down to be the Lakers were better on offense and defense.
Yeah, more than the Miami Heat.
So I'm not quite sure why we're all fighting to make the Miami Heat the 2020 bubble bubble NBA champions.
Speaking of Bumble What The cow? Yeah, Please.
Kyle Kuzma will be facing off against Miami Heat.
We talked about a little bit on the show, whose is, uh, you know, Bennett been locked into some one on one battles lately.
Last serious battles.
Not want to remember.
I'll tell you that much.
He, Michael Porter Jr got the best of Cools.
He lost his head a couple of times and, you know, didn't know how to stay down on threes.
Seems like it took a little one on one. All good.
Who's is on the better team? So he survived.
Who does he get to face now? Tyler Hero, who is dating his ex girlfriend.
What is this young lady's name Can You ought to sound like a Mortal Kombat.
I don't get canceled, man.
But if you get cancer, it sounds like a Mortal Kombat character.
What's the What's old girl's name? My Mortal Kombat.
Now you get a little way.
Talked about it, man.
You just gotta let just keep it real real quick.
You know, you look over to the other side home, you got your ex.
You could choose to be like, you know, **** that Be.
But give it, uh or, you know, you could take a little bit.
Personally, you think who's is going to lose his head? And you think, Oh, boy is just going to let that energy feel him? You know, I hope I hope it fuels him.
But I mean, after watching the battle of the light skins in the last round, I don't know, man.
I mean, I'll be honest, you know, cools his best when he's cutter cools or spot up cools isso.
Cools is not my cup of tea.
I don't think it's anybody's company.
See if he could just play well in within the offense.
He excels very well.
He plays really well when he cuts when he spots up.
But when he starts getting an eso mode and gets in, you know his dribble size ups Now we don't need any of that.
We do not need any of that, so hopefully it doesn't turn into a one on one sort of situation.
Obviously, Tyler heroes kind of been their backup point guard.
He brings from all of he runs the pick and rolls, you know, he handles the ball a lot more, so he probably gets.
We'll probably get a substantial bit Mawr of scoring opportunities, but I just hope whose doesn't let that go to his head? Man, I really don't.
You know, at the end of the day, when you're hosting the trophy hoisting the trophy, that's gonna be more than you know him scoring four or five more points to you again. That doesn't matter.
Big picture cools Big picture.
It's Ah, it's interesting seeing who's all coming down to the bubble and supporting, you know, family. Jimmy said.
Nobody. He's not bringing anybody.
He's all about business except for his coffee shop.
We just dig face coffee.
Yeah, I don't have, you know, again, we love Jimmy, but I just love how people report ****.
Like if Dwight Howard had a coffee shop, you guys would call him, Distracted you? Jimmy does it.
It's like, Oh, look, Gordon drive.
This is now doing his own thing with the coffee.
It's like, Oh, yeah, it's cute when you're with the people that he wanted to be cute with, But oh, yeah, AIDS parents air coming down into the bubble and Dwight Howard as a bubble Guess that is Ah, going hopefully bring the leg is a little bit of good luck.
His, um, wonderful girlfriend from the Miami I'm sorry, The l A. Sparks.
Yeah, Ted Cooper.
She is, ah, one of the best up and coming young players on the Sparks.
She is an amazing, an amazing young talent in the league, and I hope that she is giving Dwight the right pointers and, you know, understanding that athletes need a testosterone level at an all time high, so I hope they're separate living quarters.
I hope all visitation is public because we need angry.
I don't need Dwight coming in.
All's end out every game.
We need him as angry as he was against Yokich, so personal, taking it personal like shout out to you.
Can't wait for her to be on the championship podium.
Championship podium photo.
Yeah, so we're without the fans, But quick question for you, Ricky.
What do you think your projected starting lineup are projected? Starting lineup is for this evening.
We'll be rocking.
Went to start against the Miami Heat in the n b A. Finals.
Um, I think we go back to our starting lineup that we always use with a veil.
Like, you know, E s.
We will keep trying to find out It just doesn't work.
I think that's kind of like what Frank Vogel does.
He's like, I'll give Javal his carrot of starting the Siri's, but as soon as he shows that he can't do it, let's go ahead and take him out.
And I mean, travels a lot, right against the zone.
Yeah, you know, Javal and, um, a d are gonna tower over the Miami Frontline, you know? So I think his impact can be shown a little bit. Mawr.
This Siri's right.
He just needs the hustle, not foul players that are significantly shorter than him.
Just grab a board, man.
He can't be subject because I hope he declined his player option.
Well, that's probably that's that.
That's probably not going to happen, but because, I mean, he lost a lot of money.
This bubble dude doesn't What? Yeah, the devil is here for the for the vlogs.
Shout out to him, man.
I bet you fail made a nice little grip on life in the bubble monetization of the YouTube man.
They had commercials in the beginning and every four minutes adopted.
I'm making **** up.
Assume it had enough views, you know they could and should run deep.
So you guys who you got in the starting lineup, then? Honestly, I think he's going toe.
I wouldn't be surprised if Dwight made the start, but I also wouldn't be surprised.
McGee made the start because it's like every Siri's we just trying to G and see if it works then, you know, if he does nothing in his six minutes of total playing time, you know we send them to the end of the bench and play well without him.
Um, I don't know if this matchup really works.
Because Miami's and our team that plays small, um, with Jae crowder, the four.
Do we want a d there? But I mean, this is the final, so I mean, I don't know.
Zadie say don't meet the five I want **** like, what do we do? I don't know, but I guess what What do the the heat say? Like, are they going to stick to the zone? Are they actually going to put like they're gonna be in and out of the zone? I mean, it was bam guarding.
Are you going to put bam on a D? And then what? It's time for 80 isolation, and then you get bam in foul trouble.
Then what happens then? It is a seasoned rabbit season.
In our one matchup that we had against each other, I had a matchup against Myers line.
It's always need to shout.
Yeah, it was aloof back then, too.
But it's all good.
It was a nice guy, so I mean, it would be interesting.
I just got to boards on them.
But that was about it will just be interesting to see how if Miami does run this zone, that everybody thinks he's gonna floor us, even though Denver ran his own, too, and we, you know, unhinged that pretty quick in my opinion. E.
I mean, it may have gave us a little bit of hassle for about half a game, but after that we figured out, you know, I think they're they're defenders Justice capable of Miami's, I mean, but they have all these bodies to throw LeBron, and then they're gonna run zone like doesn't that defeat the purpose of the said bodies? Hey, one of them boys that got finals M V P from guarding for guarding LeBron, but he averaged 35.
We have some of the best players.
That was that was five years ago.
That was five years ago.
They way different than Gigi's.
Balding is going faster than LeBron's, too.
So I saw somebody.
Somebody dropped the funny as video about how nobody could say anything LeBron before someone jumping into.
You mean the bum? You mean the boom? You mean the bowl? You? Well, they were.
Did they just hate LeBron? They hate the Lakers, and then they come together and make stupid as predictions like this.
Hey, man, I'm OK.
Doug, Like, congratulations on personal success.
But this is now the stock.
In what the ringer is preaching.
I don't know, man.
It started getting into, uh, Enron levels right now.
You went and brought on Jackie McMullen who thrives in slandering, you know, discreetly.
Like like he really hurt her.
Is it because what he did to the Celtics is he's crushed their dreams.
Like I know what bills issue is.
What Bill visit? I mean, he's a Boston fan.
Like, once again.
Like who? Like Boston fans besides Boston.
You're not from being town or clam land like I don't know, man.
Like you think Boston's cool.
I've never heard anybody say I'm going on vacation of Boston.
They've been cool since the tea party, man.
They have been cool since the tea party.
We're supposed to go the harbor.
Yeah, all right.
They got good lobster, though for real, like seafood, whatever they got the Atlantic Ocean and all that stuff.
That's about all it is.
I'm sure Boston's a pretty place, but Jackie got warrants for embezzlement.
All the money she's stealing from employees from take That's fax.
Imagine getting paid all that money to just like to say nothing.
That's fact based.
You just say whatever and they pay you.
Honey, that job you don't even gotta be right.
You could be wrong because many times you want just make it sound convincing.
Though this is a very small, small little production we got going on here and people wanna hop into our stuff and call us haters for truth that we spent like we're saying the truth and people are saying, Oh my God, you hate the heat.
What did you hear? What did you hear? But when we go on the ESPN and we just we hear like my boy Tim, Tim, Tim E.
Tim dodged the bullet because he was on that list.
We've been defending legs for not getting his time in the sun, and then he took the heat in seven and you keep respect.
Could you said in seven.
But that also means you're letting LeBron lose Game seven. Okay.
Hey, man, whatever game.
Once tonight, we're going to see what? What? What it's about, right who you got tonight need? Yep.
Lakers man, I don't think again.
Motivated LeBron? Yeah.
Do you think Lakers were beaten by more than 4.
5? Yes, E don't know, man.
For me, it's just I don't see how Miami's gonna score because in my opinion, is my opinion.
I watched Boston struggle so mightily and they were in almost every game in Miami.
They were leading to buy 15 plus and just folded.
But they have been in every game and they played so poorly.
In my opinion, I don't think they played great.
Didn't necessarily shoot Great Jayson Tatum is gonna hold has without scoring a point.
But they was in the games.
Miami was just able to make the better plays down the stretch and pull away the Lakers.
Scoring is way beyond that, in my opinion, you know, and LeBron is not Jayson Tatum.
LeBron is not going a half without a basket.
Anthony Davis is not going a half without a basket.
It's going to be book you.
But don't say that.
So for me, I don't know.
I just find it hard how Miami's just gonna be a That's just me.
You know, I could be wrong, but I think I am.
Um, from that amazing speech, I just put 50 shekels on the Lakers to cover, so I'm gonna need 25 shekels.
If they don't, I gotta pay you.
They look over the spread.
So we got Lakers plus minus 4.5.
Kwame is paying out bets in.
You have that money you win already s cash out.
Beginning real quick before we wrap up, cash out and begin to the playoffs.
No, By betting that the Lakers would come out of the West, I don't know why.
I just didn't bet that they win the whole thing.
I was just seeing the blinds and I was like, Okay, put 50 on that.
Came out with, like, 3 40 board.
Like what did I just hate? Just That's what I want.
I want to see that Grab that for free.
And then of course, this one to win it all.
Like I need to put up a crazy money just to make something, you know.
I'll do Lakers covering each game, though, for sure.
I'll take that money.
So are you. Better is out there.
Go whatever LeBron's points per game is tonight.
Go above, take the over one What you're saying in the show? Oh, follow late night Lakers on Twitter, okay?
