Hello, everyone, and welcome back to another broadcasts.
It is the extra innings of Braves and Reds.
Currently, it is the 11th inning.
It's the bottom of the 11th Michael Lorenzen on the mound, facing Ronald ****ey Jr.
Who was one for fourth day with no outs in the bottom of the 11th and a tie game 00 And that's gonna be just up high for a ball.
Trevor Bauer started this game, went seven and two thirds, didn't give up a single run.
And, boy, it has been a great game so far, and that pitch up, I I'm sure there are multiple people that are gonna be watching this game.
If you're commenting in the comments section, I'm very sorry I can't see you.
I can't see how many people are watching this broadcast.
I can't see anything because unfortunately, there's something wrong with my iPad is this is gonna be popped up sky high.
The third base and the catch is made one down in the inning.
But I'm sure that there's a good amount of people that will be watching this broadcast.
If you're watching a live Sorry, I can't see you.
There's something wrong with my iPad and I will try and get it fixed.
I think I just need to accept the app and put it and get it back.
Hopefully that won't do anything harmful, but here we g o it is a tie game right now.
I was gonna do it on a Chromebook like I normally did, but of course I didn't have enough time.
Freddie Freeman up the plane.
Now the first baseman having a great season.
Any fouls that one off? And that's inside the Freeman.
Freddie Freeman, two at bats today, not including this one.
And he has Onley One walk and that is this Onley stat recorded.
Bottom of the 11th with one out and a 12 mhm.
And the Reds trying Thio win this one because they're pitching has been excellent.
And, you know, the thing about them is was thing about the was gonna be about the hitting where they gonna be able to pull off those big time hits where they're gonna be ableto get that offense going, And that hasn't happened so far today.
Miami and Chicago is scoreless in the bottom of the fifth as well with two outs, this game started back at 12 o'clock.
It's actually 30 43 now.
So, really, it isn't that long of a game for a game that goes into the 11th inning.
And normally they'll be runners on first in normal.
Excuse me and normal.
There are no runners in the playoffs.
Uh, there are no runners on the basis of well, as down goes Freddie Freeman.
But in a normal baseball environment, we won't see runners on the bases right away like they won't put him there.
But because of this season, they put runners on the basis.
So in the 10th inning, there's a runner on first in the I believe.
And then, I believe, in the 10th inning or 11th inning.
Rather, there's a runner on second, and then you have the 12th and whether his bases loaded to start it off, That's how I believe it goes.
They're not doing it here, obviously, in the playoffs.
Nor are they doing it, uh, nor, nor would they be doing it normally as it's Marcel Ozuna up to the plate, the D.
Today he had 56 R B ice this year and that was gonna be blown away, Owen.
Or rather one and one here and look at that.
The Cubs get on the board, one to nothing over the Marlins in Game one, off the three game.
Siri's just a ZAY said it, and that is gonna be in there for a strike one and two.
And actually, excuse me, it might.
It's not showing me the people.
Oh, well, it doesn't show how many people are watching, but it shows that you're joining.
So maybe I can see your comments then.
Thank you, Marble fan for joining the broadcast.
It just can't see how many people are watching And a swing and a miss down goes Ozuna another scoreless inning in the bottom of the 11th.
We'll head to the 12th here on SportsCastr.
We'll take a break.
We'll be back 30 seconds.
Yeah, yeah, yes, and we're back.
Asai was saying I was talking about you know, how this game had to kind of go with whoever was gonna score Mawr.
Obviously, that's always how the games go.
Earlier, I was saying that, but you know, it was the Braves as well, the Braves.
Their pitching has played so good in this game because they don't have the best pitching in the world.
They obviously don't know top five pitching team.
But you look at them and you look what has to happen.
It has to be the offense going.
The offense is not going hats off to the pitching today.
The pitching has gone 11 innings without allowing a single one for the Reds.
We knew this was possible.
It was about the offense getting going.
Their offense wasn't getting going.
So right now this is a win for the Reds.
The Reds have played very well right now.
Uh, I think the pigeon wise, I think it's a win for both teams, hitting wise, I don't know.
Both teams have had really good day, but I think that if this would be a big, big win, if they can win, because the Braves obviously favored to win the Siri's.
But the Reds have such great pitching with, you know, obviously, Bowers started today's stone field.
Everybody, they have such great peach pitching.
I mean, the list goes on and on Michael or Lauren.
I want to say Lorenzo Lawrence n.
Who's pitching earlier today and a swing and a miss right there.
And this is our our sides.
Quino, who's got a weird dieting stance.
I mean, he kind of looks like this at the picture and then turns his body and swings is that's gonna be down low one and one here.
But this has definitely been a great game.
This is really, really great.
We're getting a lot of a lot of action right now between the pitcher's and that's gonna be punched into right field for a base hit and some action for the Reds now in the top of the 12th.
The second baseman plan on a little bit of a shift, one of their not shift.
And that was part of the reason why you see, not right there.
Houston's up to the one over Minnesota in the top of the eighth.
If Houston winds today in the top of the eighth, Minnesota will go home.
Yeah, they'll go home.
Can you believe that? They're gonna go home, And that would mean that Houston is going to be facing the winner of White Sox and athletics.
That is gonna be a great Siri's.
If we get White Sox and Houston, that is gonna be a legitimately great Siri's.
And you know you know I Houston's being in the Minnesota Twins because the Minnesota Twins have lost 17 playoff games and Oral and Astros they know how to win in the postseason.
I mean, trash can or no trash trash can.
It seems like they know how to win in the postseason.
I mean, against the Red Sox, who knows that they were using the trash can and then they got all the way to the LCS.
Then last year, you know, obviously there were stress.
You know, there were struggles, but they got to the world. Siri's.
I mean, they got to the World Series.
So I think people are underestimating what the Astros were going to do.
Even I was underestimating what they were gonna dio as it is to an hour right now on Winker.
This is Jesse Winker, the D h today, and that's gonna be hit into right field for a base hit.
The runner is gonna go all the way down the third base in a queen.
Oh, and they have runners on the corners with no outs, Jesse Winker with a base hit.
And this is not going so well for the Braves right now.
I mean, I joined.
I started broadcasting the Braves, pitching those what? Right down.
And this is just This is two hits right here where it's just like contact, right field.
This is a little bit more to write, but they they're using that, you know, space right there.
There's obviously never gonna be anybody there.
And now we have a base runner in Genachowski for Jesse Winker.
So Jesse Winker is out of the ballgame.
Blinker went three at bats so far, and that brings in.
I believe we're going to see Kyle former off the plane, although I'm just looking over here in my lineup and this is all over the place.
So So here we go top of the 12th, And that breaking ball is going to be a little too high at 81 And that's gonna be in their first strike.
And you know, right now you could see strikeout right here and then a double play.
And that ends the inning.
27% of baserunners scored.
right there for the Cincinnati Reds, which is lowest in the MLB.
You've got no outs here, so it looks good.
But you never know.
A strikeout and a double play would suit the Braves pretty well right now, and that is gonna be a big swing. Animus.
You're in the top of the 12.
Braves got Tyler, Matt Zach on the mound and Kyle Farmer swings through it, and that's Hiss second.
That's the second strikeout for Tyler.
Matt sick today.
So he's doing okay.
Job right there with the strikeouts, but, oh my gosh, she's in some big trouble right now.
I mean, he's got one out, but it's not looking too well for him.
And for some reason, he told me that Matt Zach has two strikeouts today.
He's only got one out, 3.
1 inning so he doesn't have two strikeouts.
They even the wrong sent Kyle that was Kyle Farmers second strikeout.
I believe that's what they're trying to say.
31 strikeouts in the skin today.
Wow, that's insane.
And a strike there. Think about that.
If you get three outs in every inning you've got and see this drop, there's probably not gonna be a stroke where the culture missed it and the guy got to first.
So we'll say that accounts for, Like, what? There's 27.
You get up 27 times in a normal nine in the game.
There's 31 in total.
Wow, that's like there's 54 in a normal game and they've already got 31.
There's been a lot of strikeouts today, so players they're going down swinging and then extra innings.
Do you have to count? Let's say the two.
Wow, that's just insane.
13. Yeah, so there's 67.
There's been 67 ounce today, I believe, and drops down bond.
But swing and a miss.
A queen nose down a third and he's trying to score here.
You know, he he wants toe blowing pitch or something.
That goes by the catcher.
I mean, we need something right now.
We got somebody's got to score in this one.
I mean, this is crazy right now.
This broadcast I started this 14 minutes ago, so I haven't been here long, but this game must be crazy for them.
He drops down upon again.
This time it's ah, high pitch, so it will not be a strike as it's one on one right now.
This is Tucker Barnhart, the catcher. Right now.
Drop down two Bunches to one and Mad *** going to try and check back on Janikowski with the first ba*****t.
The shields over there.
So if he could bunt down the third base line, is he trying to get a bases loaded? So I'm guessing he's trying to get the runner from third home.
I mean, you got third best line.
I mean, it's possible he might be able to get him home.
He drops down the bunt again.
This one is up high, and we're gonna see what we got. Yeah.
31 Now, now, Miami has runners on 1st and 2nd against Chicago and Oakland up four to nothing over Chicago in the bottom of the second member yesterday, they lost 41.
Thank you, G girl.
123 for during the broadcast.
Top of the 12th, one out.
31 Pitch Thio Tucker Barnhart.
And he hits this one to write a foul so that funding stages over with a 32 count.
And right here you just completely destroy that boss Faras you can right now.
That's what you gotta dio.
Yeah, they're talking about up here.
Why? The runner won't go here on the 32 because off the lefty, so he probably won't get a good jump.
I I think that's what they're saying.
I don't have it out because I'm trying to and he does go, I'm trying.
I'm trying to make it so you guys can't hear, like, the TV. Oh, for me or something.
So eso maybe the runner will go.
That's Janikowski on first, and we've got runners on 1st and 3rd with one out.
Here we go 1st and 3rd man *** delivers and a swing in a mass.
Down goes Barnhart and the runner gets down to second base.
Imagine that takes care of him.
Oh, maybe the brave.
Yeah, that's what I was gonna say.
Braves checking on it because the guy's swung out and then he goes over the plate and the runner was going.
He was looked like, I don't know, he pretended to throw down because the guy was in front of him, but I don't know if he was gonna throw down.
Look, he's swinging a mess, and then he goes to thrill.
I think he was pretending anyways, but they're up on the mountain now.
Zach's got three strikeouts.
Yeah, I was Matt Friday.
Five strikeouts and he went seven innings.
Onley allowed six hits, and then since then you had three guy or two got yeah, three guys at 11 inning.
That was Will Smith.
Not the actor Mark Milk Melancon and Chris Martin.
But Will Smith went 1.1.
Can you believe, don't giving up any hits like that? That's really good, then.
Yeah, Darren O Day, who gave up one hit, two walks and you know that was the end of him.
But on Lee, six combined through the first through the first 10 through the 1st 10 and a third innings, they had absolutely no walks, no runs and Onley six hits.
There's some great great job by the Braves pitching staff right now.
Hands off to them and Matt Zach could get out of this.
I would be so impressed because there's now two outs and the Braves air.
They've got two guys who struck out back to back with runners on 2nd and 3rd now is Janikowski.
School stole second on the strikeout, and that's gonna be in there for a strike on Freddy Galvis.
Oh, it's in their strike. Three.
The Braves get out of it.
Can you believe that? The Braves get out of it.
00 We'll head to the bottom of the 12th here on SportsCastr.
Yes, and we're back.
Cincinnati and Atlanta.
It's a tie game in the middle of the 12.
And think about this.
First index close.
Third school is 4th. 5th, 6.
10th, 11th scoreless.
Can you believe that? I mean, that's just crazy.
All those scoreless sittings between these two.
What a great game it's been.
And the Braves the priests committed in this inning.
Any anyone will win it for the Braves.
At this point, Braves just get a run and you win.
That's all that It takes Redd's, You gotta get the run, and then you got to get some good pitching.
The postseason combined strikeout record is 34.
There are 32 I believe Yankees and Indians tonight at 7 p.
And that's gonna be hit in the left field for a base head.
Atlanta has a runner on first with darn hard.
And, uh, I had to check back around.
He almost got I mean, he almost just got yeah, picked off.
Culberson is going to come in and run for him now, boiled boy, this one in right now.
I mean, if you can get a double right here, this game is over.
If the you got the pinch runner here, he can score on this.
And now you've got Ozzie all ablaze because he always swing for the fences right now.
No strikes, no outs.
And that's gonna be hits a second until first and runner at first safe.
But they do get the out, and Moustakas makes the play.
Look at this right here.
Hit right to him.
They get the guy at second, But the guy at first who? Ozzy always.
He's just too fast for him.
So that's big time right now.
Because if you get those to us, that could be the end of this this inning.
But being able to get those, um, not being able to turn the double play might be big.
Here's Adam Duvall, the left fielder, and that's gonna be just a little bit over top of the strike zone.
Heat Lakers tonight.
Game one at 9 p.m.
Eastern Time Lakers What story They are.
I mean, but and even more of a story with the Heat, they are the best team in the Eastern Conference this year.
In the postseason, they played so well.
And get this straight.
They're 12 and three in the postseason right now.
That's right, 12 and three.
Put your hands together for them.
The Lakers, on the other hand, they are also 12 and three.
So what a coincidence.
Both teams have played so well.
So tonight somebody will go down and lose Game one, But somebody will.
In Game one, it'll be a great game.
And now what have we got here? Is this a Bach? Did he so maybe.
And then maybe just time.
I thought he motioned my bad.
I thought I thought it was gonna be a bulk.
And then the picture motion like that for him to go to first.
I thought of her second Rather not a bulk.
You've got Ozzie always on first.
Here's the pitch that Adam Google and it's gonna be fouled off.
Right now, double play gets you out of the inning and we head to the 13th inning.
But right now you hit something off the wall or something.
Always gonna go Thio home.
So we'll see 12 with one out and a runner on 1st.
19 pitches for Lauren Zanna is the threat of first on.
Always gets back in there.
Not even attempted shag tag from Joey Votto and the pitch fouled off and the check back on.
All Blaze again and a swing and a miss.
The third strikeout for Michael Lorenzen.
Oh my gosh, I'm 34 combined strikeouts, which ties the postseason record.
Who's been a long game? It has been a long game, and I haven't commentated.
Also, I sound just not smart of a year, but it's been a long game to 74 batting average for Dansby Swanson.
He's been a break for a while, and that's gonna be a throwback to first.
So all place every time safe over here and not even close. Vados.
Not even gonna give it a chance to be attacked and it's foul back all into run on first. Two outs.
Here's the pitch outside.
So it goes toe one and two.
Lawrence and he's doing some good pitching right now trying to fund it off.
He's gone one and two thirds trying to get two innings in right now.
Then maybe send it to the next guy.
It seems like that's what I'm gonna roll with.
That pitch bounces away from him, and that's gonna send Victor Victor one of my saying, Ozzy all blaze to second.
Thinking of Victor Robles, Ozzy always to second is you bounced on him and that is big time because now a single could get you a win.
Right now, that's a big, big play right now.
That's like Dave Roberts stealing the base.
I mean, that is a big pitch, and this throw is bad.
If the throw is good, he's probably gonna be safe.
Anyways, that is a great, great chance.
Now that's gonna make it a great chance for the Braves.
They got to take advantage of this.
Swanson's over four today.
Can he be the hero with the shoot? You count two outs or runner on second.
Can this be the moment in the bottom of the 12th? And that's download. Good.
Pick on the catcher.
And boy, that saves you right there.
The Indians have lost their last nine elimination games.
Wow, that just steps. Stands out to me.
I was like, what? And they're facing the Yankees tonight, so that's not good. They lost yesterday.
Shane Bieber had a tough outing and the pitch swing and a miss down he goes.
We're going to the 13th inning. Yes, we are.
All right, keep it rolling.
You're on, SportsCastr.
And we're about 45 minutes away from the first pitch of San Diego and ST Louis.
What? That's gonna be a great Siri's, I'll tell you that.
That's my pick. To be the best Siri's.
I think that's gonna be so, so close.
He's got Totti's and Manny Machado up against a great great Lewisville team.
Um, are what? Bill? What a mess in here ST Louis team.
And now we've got Shane Greene in the ballgame.
He pitched 28 games this season.
He has the to 60 a through 27 2 3rd innings, 21 strikeouts and nine walks.
And he's facing Castiel.
Oh, Castillo cast Nick Castellanos rather tell you. Pronounce that.
Yeah, Nicholas, Captain Nick Castellanos, the right fielder.
11 count in the top of the 13th.
One. A great game. This is Ben.
I mean, this is starting to become Dodgers and Red Sox postseason last year all over again.
That's download whoever wins this game.
The opposing team, the team.
Whoever loses this game faces elimination game to.
So that's tough Yelich Bani to 205 this season.
He's a hit 33 13 through 16 games last year, yellowish for the Brewers as the Brewers take on the Dodgers.
Down goes, uh, Nick Castano's and this is a nice pitch right here, low in a way, and Castano's good pitch.
Have some respect right there that will bring up Joey Votto to the plate.
Now Votto longtime first baseman boy.
He has been there for a very long time, and that's outside.
Votto is over for this sunny, bright and sunny day in Atlanta.
He's spending to 26 this year with 11 homers.
22 R B I so you could send one fly in here.
Something over the fence.
You know, I'm gonna go with over the fence here.
It's two and two right now.
Wanna one? Rather I think I'm gonna go to to He's gonna 12 I think this is gonna be Yeah, Let's go.
3232 He's gonna help one to right field three to right field.
That's what I'm gonna say, right? This is my prediction.
Three to right field.
Gone a solo homer.
And that's what the Reds were gonna win on the solo homer right here.
You heard it, right? 32 So don't mess it up.
Come on, guys, don't mess it up.
32 I want my moment here.
Soaring animus at 85 2 and 21 more ball and my prediction can get set up.
I mean, yesterday got close with Josh, but we'll see.
227 pitches so far in this inning, and that's gonna be hit into right field.
Not a homer, but at least a single for Joey Votto as he reaches first with one out.
Well, at least he got the hit, and that will give Cincinnati a chance.
I know my battery is running low over here on my computer.
That will get Cincinnati a chance to get on top and win this game.
It's a good piece of heading right now.
They're utilizing that right field grass a lot.
Both teams, but especially the Reds, who have gotten a few hits the right field.
No Suarez, the third baseman.
If he could launch one right now, right here, that'll pretty much win them the game.
Unless the pitching fails, that gets away.
Votto was going to get down to sick of being.
Just died for a second.
So Joey Votto down to second with one out.
And this is the closest that the Reds have really come.
Uh, I mean, well, they did.
I shouldn't say that because they just had the guy on third base.
They just had runners on 1st and 3rd, But this is the closest they might come toe winning this game if they don't win it, because I don't know how long, much longer this is gonna go on for before the Braves offense.
Get something going.
Here's the one Odor Suarez doing animus.
So it is one and one.
Wow, 180 strikeouts for Suarez.
Gosh, it's a lot of strikeouts.
You lead baseball, but maybe this is his time.
Right now he hits this one through the line, the left, and that is gonna send Votto to third, and that's where he'll stop.
There's gonna be 1st and 3rd for the Cincinnati Reds.
It's a good piece of hitting, thereby Suarez.
Oh, could we be seeing something right now you've got Mike Moose stock is now over five today and Votto at first.
He's going back and then he's going there.
How do you be going? How do you been going the whole way? He probably would have scored, but he's not going the whole way.
I'm not kind of play top of the night with Twins and Astros, and we've got a new pitcher coming in.
We'll stay here during the break, runners on 1st and 3rd with a Onley one out.
So this this could be Cincinnati's moment right here.
What the heck of my saying over here? It was too eager to say it tightens and Steelers has been postponed.
Thio, either Monday or Tuesday, is what the last That was the last information that I was that I heard off.
So, apparently, Titans and Steelers is off for Sunday, either Monday or Tuesday.
Like I just said, I don't know what we're gonna look at for that.
There was a covert outbreak, and hopefully, the NFL can still continue its season this week.
I don't know what to say, but I don't have enough information on it.
But right now, Monday or Tuesday is what we're looking at.
We might see our first Tuesday.
Has there ever been in Tuesday game in NFL history? That would be cool.
CIA Tuesday game.
Those people get better very soon and more football.
We need more football right now.
Uh, Thursday Football is, of course, Joe Flacco's old team, which was the Broncos and the Jets.
So you get that good matchup should be close.
I mean, what what do you expect out of the Jets and the Broncos? They're both on three years a J mentor.
He's the new pitcher he's pitched in 22 games this season.
Through 21 or two thirds innings.
He's got 24 strikeouts, so I'm I'd be pretty excited about that.
This guy coming up right now, this picture and here's Mike Moose, Takis.
I'd be pretty happy if I was the picture right now.
This guy is having a tough time today over five.
He's batting 8 30 this year with eight homers, and right now all it takes is a little dribbler through the line.
Or maybe something or Thio get Get sure we thought a home right now.
I mean, it's all you gotta dio.
You just don't want a double play.
You've got one out.
So double plays would take away that run and it's outside one and oh, and not looking too good whatsoever.
And the Marlins lead 51 over the Cubs in the top of the seventh.
So they've got some good baseball being played right now in that game, and the Marlins might actually be able to beat the Cubs in the Siri's.
I know Isaac was telling me that they were going to as that's fouled off, but I think the Cubs, they're gonna be able to pull it together.
I mean, if the Cubs don't get it together, that would be disappointing.
We're already seeing some upsets.
I mean, the Twins, if they beat the, uh, Castro's beat the Twins.
The Astros, where I believe the sixth seed up against the third seed, I believe, is where you're looking.
Yeah, third seed, and then, yeah, so that would be a good upset.
I mean, the Astros are tied with the bruise for the worst record.
I believe in the playoffs.
They have a really bad record in the post.
Excuse me in this season, going into the playoffs, they have a really bad record.
I believe it's 29 31 so it's a bad record to make the playoffs.
I mean, you're under 500 you're making the playoffs, so that's crazy.
But, hey, at least they're not, like, terrible, terrible.
I mean, both of these teams were pretty good.
The Brewers, more and more the Astros.
The Astros were going to contend this year.
The Brewers, they're probably not going to contend much.
Ah, but you know Hey, they didn't make the playoffs.
So it seems this year is the one to up high and that almost got by the catcher.
He had to stand up to make that catch.
I wouldn't I don't know if I jumped If I'd be able to make that catch.
Probably this is This is a good, good stop.
Get it right there.
So we've got it to to with one out and he's got that Craig Craig Kimbrel staring right there.
Here's the 22 pitch down low and it's three and two.
Mentor is about toe walk.
What are we looking at right now? Five pitches, three balls, Two strikes right now.
Got Suarez Suarez on first.
Here's the pitch the moose Takis fouled off so good about right now from Miss Jackets.
He's trying to fight right now.
Yeah, this team had the bases loaded back in the 11th With two outs, they had 1st and 3rd nobody out.
Now they have 1st and 3rd with one out.
So let's get something happening.
Come on, guys, here's the pitch.
This is not you have seen.
You have not seen ah more entertaining game and we have not seen a more entertaining playoff game in a while, where it's like back and forth like this, like no runs scored back and forth with the bass hitting and then good pitching like we haven't seen this in a very long time.
I mean, we kind of saw with the White Sox, um, in Oakland, but White Sox put up three ones like they didn't put up a lot of runs, but they were ableto hang on because Lucas Giolito as it was commentating that game.
He was throwing a no hitter in a perfect game up until a base hit through the middle that he almost grabbed.
That was Tommy La Stella, who broke it up, and so so far.
Right now, this game is pretty pretty close.
Both pitchers went seven plus innings, power seven and two thirds seven for Max Fried and a 32 count right now from Mentor.
Here's the pitch inside, and he walked him so the bases loaded with one out and the best chance in extra innings the Reds have had so far with only one out.
They have the bases loaded and they get their shot and this is their chance.
Like like like we saw earlier.
27% of baserunners.
And that might be down now even more, Uh, score, which is the worst in the MLB.
So they're gonna have to rely on RCD RC ties.
A quino who batted back in the 12 and actually was the guy who got all the way down a third.
So he he was the guy that was left.
He doesn't wanna.
He felt that pain of being left at 30 doesn't want Votto Suarez or Moose stock is to feel that he's going to hit a home or no.
Who knows? He's gonna do something I gotta feeling.
We need We need some help.
Those Cincinnati fans need some help.
Not we that they need some help.
And that's gonna be fouled off right down the middle, right down the heart of the plate for a strike and fouled.
Oh, and one, Here we go.
Count on one that's going to be fouled away owing to quickly now.
And they need some help.
They just got to get something, something down the line.
Anything will give you a chance, I would think I know you got one out.
So a double play kills this right now.
I would kill it and Aquino calls for a time and down mo for a ball, and that's gonna be fouled back.
So he's just hanging on with the one into account in 13 pitches for Minter, Minter walked Moose Takis, and that was a pretty good at bat from his stocks.
And now he's got a J, not a J.
What am I saying over here? Um, a Quino, the 12 with one out Here's the pitch and found again.
So he's found, like four times.
He's found, like, four balls off in this at bat and it's 12 Yeah, good point up there, we probably want It's tough, you know? We're not.
We don't They don't have to go completely through the bullpen right now because both starters one a good way.
It's not like they went one or two innings and we're already through the bullpen, you know, they want a good, solid seven, but we're already gone.
We've already gone through a good amount of relief pitchers and a swing and a miss by a queen.
Oh, and now there's two outs in the inning and the Reds again might fail.
A runner was literally one out and you've got three guys on and they can't do anything.
I mean that that would be disappointing.
I can feel the frustration of the Reds fans right now, and I could feel the nervousness off the Braves fans right now.
37 combined strikeouts for both teams, which is a postseason record.
And they're gonna come out with a mall meeting here to talk Thio, Minter and everybody to the Dambe Swanson getting in there as well.
Here's Jose Garcia, the pinch hitter.
He's got a 1 94 batting average this season.
No homers and two r B I's so obviously has not played Ah lot, but they're bringing them in here.
Is he the guy to get it done? The hero I remember against the Braves when we were down eight toe one.
I believe it was, and we came back and won eight or 7 to 1, and we came back and won 8 to 7 with David Phillips.
I believe it was the name played as number 00 to hero.
That's what Iwas save game we wanted.
It was Ah, Homer, Andrew Benintendi was on base.
I remember coming home from school and being so so I had to turn the TV on.
Oh, that was back in the miracle season, I believe the Miracle 108.
1 season when everything went our way.
Jose Garcia at the plate.
Moustakas Suarez and Joey Votto.
That's gonna be hit the short on to second.
Yes, it is. Unbelievable.
There was one out bases loaded.
They leave three guys on.
We'll head to the bottom of the 13th with Joey Votto.
Okay, but yeah, Okay, me just and we're back.
We're heading to the bottom of the 13th with the Reds and the Braves, and this is just not.
But you ever want to see if your Reds fans I mean, you've seen it before? I'm guessing as their 27% runners score that are on base has certainly gone down, I would think I mean, this is a tough game right now.
For them Does it brings in Archie Bradley, who pitched in 16 games, 18 strikes to 95 year Ray, 18 and a third innings, three walks and Archie Bradley going to try and get it done and send it to the 14th inning.
I mean, that's got to be tough for a pitching staff.
You've got so many runners on, they finally might be able to score and they can't score.
That offense has come up so short today.
And for the Braves, same thing the offense hasn't been able to do much is it's Nick Markakis.
Up to the plate now, bottom of the 13th and the pitch and strike one.
I mean, this podcast has only been an hour, and we have only done since the we've done about two winnings here.
Maybe, and I mean, think about it.
We've done about two innings they've been doing this whole game.
This game started.
Let me remind you, it started back at 12 o'clock Eastern time.
It's been, it's literally bad.
Four hours and 30 minutes of a baseball game.
12 boys when it started, really.
And it's 4 38 spent four hours in a 30 minutes in a baseball game Right now, a normal baseball games will be about three hours to three hours and 30 minutes.
I think sometimes it goes a little longer.
The Red Sox games have been are always long because they're just not good.
So they give up a lot of runs, and sometimes they score a good amount of runs.
But that's why is that's gonna be hits.
There's a guy out there, but the diving clay would have even mattered.
He was way out there, so that's gonna get a runner on first.
You could see the Braves fans.
Yeah, getting excited.
We've got to run around first, and now you've got a pinch runner.
That's this thing every time there's a runner as it's Patrick comes in now, every time there's a guy on first, get the pinch runner out there.
Okay, guys, we can't risk anything, especially with the brave where you can win the game right now.
You're choosing a base runner.
You're not thinking about the next inning.
If the guy is a better hitter way better here.
You're not thinking about that.
You're thinking about right now winning the game because you believe you could do it.
You've got a runner on first, you get a guy, you can steal the base now That's why you're thinking about it.
You're thinking about the run first, and that's why when you have a good bench, sometimes that can translate to a great, great team.
When you think about it and it's sometimes the bench comes into play, sometimes they don't play at all.
Right now, they're coming into play.
Here's Austin Riley, the third baseman, 27 R B I s this season.
2 39 batting average in the throwback to first runner on first 10 bottom of the 13th and RG Bradley on the mound, facing Austin.
Riley, who is over for today.
He's hitting in the nine spot and the pitch.
The way the kitchen caught it, kind of he wasn't expecting to be there, so had he caught it, there probably would have been a called strike.
But he had to kind of take the ball, and it kind of veered off when he was going to catch it.
It was in the strike zone.
So to an hour, and that's gonna be high and tight.
And there has been some excellent pitching today.
No team has given up a single run.
No picture has given up a single run yet.
Yeah, that's right.
Now a single run.
Here's the pitch from Archie Bradley that's gonna be hit.
The shortstop cannot get it.
Its 1st and 2nd, the throwback to second and patches safe.
Oh, it gets by AM first.
It's second, and this is the best chance right now for the Braves.
Austin Riley sends it there. Look at this.
This is a good piece of hitting.
And look at the shortstop.
It is just He dives all out, but it's just just a little bit too in front of him.
Bottom of the ninth.
With the Twins and the Astros Astros leaning, the Twins give the Astros a 21 lead in the seventh.
There was a 430 ft bomb.
Wow, and the pitch outside up Houston is wanted in Minnesota.
Houston has one in Minnesota in Minnesota, so you know what that means.
Houston is moving on to face the winner of the White Sox and the Athletics.
They were ableto beat their wildcard opponent, which was the Twins.
The Twins have now lost 18 straight playoff games.
The final score, 321 in the best of three wild card ears.
With a 100 now, 20 count and runners on 1st and 2nd.
And this is for all the marbles right now in the bottom of the 13th.
Archie Bradley on the mound.
And if this was in the ninth inning, they might take him out.
But I don't know how many pictures they got left in that bullpen, and that's gonna be hit to the third baseman to second.
They get the out there, and that's a good play.
You don't want to do too much there.
Just get that one out.
They have no shot at the one at first, so it's 1st and 2nd, and now you rely on the picture right now.
Get some good strikeouts, maybe even a double play.
Here. You have a shot.
Get the double play in the inning is over.
So right now, the twin killing could could win this game for the Reds if they could get some hitting.
But Austin Riley couldn't get into second.
So 1st and 3rd 1 out in the bottom of the 13 and amount meeting right now and Archie Bradley gonna walk off.
So you've got another picture coming in and we'll be back after the pitching change in the bottom of the 13th.
You're on SportsCastr.
Yeah, and we're back with the broadcast.
Atlanta leads it with the base runners.
They laureate, uh, got runner.
That was a terrible way to enter the podcast.
It's 00 Come on, Nathan.
It's 00 You have runners on 1st and 3rd.
You Onley have one out.
Here's a mere Garrett who has played in 21 games.
He's got a 2 45 year, a 26 K's seven walks and, yeah, there's no room for error right now.
There's no room for error.
Every pitch has to be exactly where you need to be. Here.
No room for error.
With Freddie Freeman here, you have got to get the right pitch is at the right time.
Any any mess ups will cost you the game here.
I mean, a pitch off that goes down, runners coming home.
Everything has to be perfect right now.
You've got five guys in the infield right now. Yeah, that's right.
There's five guys in the infield and Freddie Freeman, a swing and a miss Because why, you may ask why? Well, think about it.
If the ball goes on the line drive and it hits the ground, it doesn't matter where the outfielders are, because no matter what, they're gonna win the game.
It's just by one run.
If it's hit, you have two outfielders who will probably get to the ball, be able to catch it and throw it home.
So you're just hoping that Freddie Freeman hits this as a ground ball and you're able to get a double play or you're able to go home with it.
If the runner is going, you got to check the runner.
You can't just Well, if you get it fast enough, you might try and get the double play.
We don't know how well, how much longer this game's gonna be.
There's one out there, runners on first to third.
It might be over, and it could be over right now if he gets a hit here.
The game is over and the pitch that's going to be hit center field that is gonna win the game.
Freddie Freeman, with a base hit and the game winner Atlanta wins it one to nothing.
A spectacular game.
What a game it was.
Our broadcast is over.
Congratulations to Atlanta.
They win this one big time.
They will lead the Siri's and Cincinnati will face elimination in Game two.
Maybe we'll do another broadcast tonight.
I'll have to see.
It might be on the ending of like Tampa Bay and Toronto or on.
That's what it probably it.
Thank you, everybody for joining the broadcast.
I will see you all in the next one.
Nathan signing up.
