I'm Matt Williamson with yard barker here to talk about the Steelers visiting Tennessee to play the Titans.
It's now being reported that several Titans players and people in the building have been tested for copra.
That's the positive for co vid, and they won't be allowed in their facility until Saturday.
Obviously, that puts a crazy new spin on this game if it even happens at all.
But that aside, this is a great matchup between undefeated teams, and we should learn a lot about both squads in this contest.
The Titans have yet to lose, but they have also only outscored their opponents by six points for the year and only three defense's air, allowing more yards per game than Tennessee.
Ben Roethlisberger hasn't been spectacular, but he is distributing and valuing the ball with a wealth of young Steelers weapons.
Quite well, really, this has become a pretty well rounded offense that can both run and pass, which is a problem against you.
No problem for Tennessee, obviously, right now Titans offense goes through, Derrick Henry is usual and Tennessee has been able to just keep feeding him over and over, which takes a whole huge hole on the defense.
But Pittsburgh's defense against the run has been far and away the best in the league this year, and they're attacking style.
Could really do a nice job of not allowing Henry to get his feet moving downhill.
You don't want him to get rolling and they might be able to get him behind the line of scrimmage.
But Pittsburgh's attacking defensive style also could be vulnerable to the Titans exceptional play action game.
They had a lot of big plays through the air, often off play action.
That being said, protecting Ryan Tannehill against the league's best pass rushing defense will be a huge challenge.
The Titans plus five turnover differential, is the best in the league and something Pittsburgh certainly has to be very conscious of.
They lose the turnover, battle a game like this, they will probably not pull out the victory.
But this sets up to be a very close game, hoping it happens, obviously.
But the Titans defense, which has been rather poor on third downs as well, is definitely the weakest of the four units.
I like the Steelers 24 20 not to mention Titans are gonna have a week of practice.
So give me the Steelers in this one. Thanks so much.
