We will preview LS versus Vanderbilt right after my night Coca show.
So once you get if you want to come in doing the show talk Thanks football.
Anything in the world sports you can hear the SportsCastr video chat host feature.
So once again, thanks for joining us.
We appreciate you coming in.
That's fairly self explanatory.
After the first couple of games, the amount of penalties, the times that some of those motives have occurred.
Um, the question is, how do you coach discipline.
Um, what do you guys do? And what do you talk about as a staff when you guys get ready to prepare for the next week and you're gonna go down on Wednesday and your present a game plan and all those normal things? But how do you guys attack? The problem of saying haven't been disciplined enough at this point? Yeah, because Coach Campbell, you'll be leading the **** league and penalties.
Come on, you hard breast.
Don't win anything.
Yeah, listen, that that's no secret.
That's no secret.
And e look, Theo.
Amount of penalties is that's one thing.
But I think exact You hit it on the head.
It's it's really more than that.
It's when these things were popping up, you know, and what they're costing you, you know? I mean, it's not like your oil we could do.
It was a false start, and it's a five yard penalty.
I mean, these air, you know, these things were adding up for huge place.
And so look, look, Coach Faint does a good job of acknowledging these things, and he's constantly honest about it.
He's on the players about it, and I mean to the point where Zack, you know this you were in the room.
I mean, we we get the the officials report about who's calling the game, what they call, what kind of panels? A.
They call what they're looking for.
You know what you need to be aware of and and, you know, so these things get acknowledged, but the next step is gonna have to be.
Not only are you calling out a player and you're acknowledging you know what has happened, but I think that it's got to get a little bit mawr, um, not personal, but It just needs to be a little bit more on the main stage and and you know you're getting practice and some of these things happened.
I think, you know, you may have to represent some guys in front of, you know, in front of their teammates, because if if something is not going to come across, then it's either, you know, we're not doing a good job, is coaches or the players just is not what willing to get it done or is not going to get it done.
So I think that's kind of where you have to go with that.
Honestly, you know, I mean, look, Bill Parcells used to make us run to the fence all the time constantly, nonstop, go to the fence and then you have your coach go to the fence with you.
So you know, But But yeah, I agree.
I mean something, something.
Something's gotta be done.
If something will be done, he's acknowledged.
He's always been on top of it, and it's our job is coaches to get it done.
Now you know, Coach Camel, uh, explain to the fans because sometimes like, oh, where did you read? Throw that that was a bad pass because you caused the tight ends.
And then it could be a receiver zone versus man concept because the one thing when two reasons 75% passer, then all of a sudden the beginning is he's always only 65.
Hell, I wish I was 65%.
I thought I did a great job when I was at 63%.
But, you know, with that being said is like, fans don't realize that you gotta be on the same page, whether it's zone or man concept, whether you're sitting or you continuously running as far as the accuracy and the quarterback and the tight end, the receiver being on the same page.
Yeah, it's a huge deal, and it seems like it would be really simple.
And it is when you talk about it.
But you know, true is no different.
Anybody else true needs to fill your body language like the way that you're willing to move the way.
You know, like for us.
We always say You're looking your book and you know, if you're looking your booking because it's man to man, I'm running through it or it's green grass.
If you're not looking at the quarterback, you're telling them you're getting ready to ****, you know, and so that that's a big thing.
And Sean talks about that all the time.
But you're you're absolutely right.
I mean, those things when you hit, get into these zones and you're not being decisive on what you're gonna do.
You know, you give the quarterback your eyes and but yet you start to choke your speed.
Boy, you just told them your full speed through it.
Now all of a sudden, you choked your speed, I'm throwing it in front of you and, you know, and and then vice versa.
So those things, those are the things that were a little bit off on right now, and that's kind of what we talked about, just the small details to the game.
And and look, we've held ourselves the high standards here, and it's like you said, you know, Drew has had such a high completion percentage.
When you drop back from that a little bit, it doesn't mean that it's that it's bad.
It just means man, it's not up to our standards.
It's not where it's where it's been and where we need it to be.
And so those are the things we got to clean up.
You hit it on the head.
It's those little details.
And and quite honestly, when you play a team like the Green Bay Packers, those little details or what win the game? Yeah, because if you're not gonna do him, you turn the ball over one time, you lose the game.
And that's what happened, you know, and that's where we've been ableto win these games because we do more than the other team does.
And we don't turn the ball over and we don't and our defense.
Our details are on point in those things, so it's a huge deal.
We'll step away when we come back.
One more segment with Dan Campbell.
Great stuff so far and lots more to come.
You're listening to the Saints coach show on the community Cops.
Saints Radio Network.
Okay, once again, the coaches show will return in just a few moments.

Um, Monday night coaches show. Come back on.
Doc Rivers eyes out as, um l a Clippers coach after disappointing, um into the season.
So that's what came in earlier.
So once again, hey is going to be, um, looking for another job.
The Clippers finished 49 23 in the regular season.
Also, um, they squatted the 31 Western Conference semifinals lead to the Denver Nuggets.
So that's unfortunate for Doc Rivers.
I think he's a good coach, but the truth of the matter is l a look.
So they wanna win.
Now, that's what they want to do.
They wanna win now.
They don't wanna win tomorrow.
They don't wanna win next week.
They don't wanna win the year after year up the next.
They wanna win. Now.
So, uh, this is from once again, this is from, uh, ESPN.
Go to ESPN dot com.
Let's see what else I will talk about before we go back.
Let's give you some updates, see if we got any, um um w MBA score updates once again give you those updates in just a few minutes.
So let's go ahead and give you those.
See what going on.
Um, since what's is out? Okay, W MBA school board update.

So that will, um, again.
Also, the MLB playoffs will begin this coming week.
So we'll have, um, the schedule.
Let's give it the schedule before we go back.
Thio Once again, it's on the screen.
Um, first game will be at one PM Houston and, um, Minnesota.
That will be on ABC.
That game will be on ABC, also at 2 p.
On ESPN, Um, Chicago and Oakland.
That will be at two PM Also at 4 p.m.
Will be, um, Toronto and Tampa Bay.
Also, Cleveland and New York will be at six o'clock on ESPN, so that's the schedule for this week.
Also Wednesday, um, Cincinnati, Atlanta will play.
It will be at 11 a.m.
That will be on so once again, we'll go back to the second coaches show on W W.
3 and radio dot com.
The Saints coaches show live from the Silver Slipper and Base ST Louis on the New Orleans Saints radio network.
Back to Coach Bobby A Bear and Sack Strief.
Welcome back to the Saints.
Coaches show Bobby and I joined by States assistant head coach Dan Campbell.
Dan, this is one of the most exciting questions that I think I've ever gotten asked.
This is this is it's revving me up right now.
Last night, album cameras, 52 yard touchdown catch and run, which was a pretty spectacular play, almost jumped out of the booth.
Um, actually, you know, I wonder sometimes.
Dan, I know you guys got headsets on him like they had to have hurt me.
They had to because I can get Craig Robertson every word he says on the sideline, all the way up in the booth.
So, uh, but obviously a pretty exciting play and an incredible individual effort by Alvin Kamara.
However, Alvin Kamara, you know we were these chips in our jerseys now tell you how fast everyone's going.
Alvin Kamara, reached never reached a speed faster on that run than Eric McCoy Center for the New Orleans Saints.
I just wait win again is a player of Alvin cameras caliber.
Gonna be outrun by a full mile per hour on a play by his offensive.
He was setting of the block.
Come on. I don't know.
There was a whole lot more running than just setting up.
I don't want to hear it.
Eric McCoy might be faster than album.
I'm gonna throw it on the show right now.
I just You know, I'm just I'm just trusting my eyes stand, but about the performance on that play by Eric.
Well, you know what? What? That tells me if you're following the ****ytics to that, it tells May we should put McCoy at the half back.
Better we owe you.
Want to come in video, chat with us, talk about anything in the world of sports doing we got Monday night Coaches show you can, uh, and the SportsCastr video co host features and video.
It's not every day you get to play with running back of of this guy's caliber where man he is going.
He is going to break the first tackle, for sure.
And then there's probably pretty good odds.
He breaks more than that.
So, man, just continue to block down field, give the guy a little crease at the line of scrimmage, and then when he's kind of tied up, don't give up on it.
Just keep running, looking for blocks downfield, because that's what can happen.
I mean, it's it, really, It's amazing.
And, uh, you know the kid.
He just tell you what.
He's been playing his heart out for these three games and and he's given us life now, Coach Camel, Uh, speaking of giving life, How about Latavius? Murray? I mean, uh, I was like, I don't know.
He should always have a double digit attempts and he's averaging, you know, looking.
The game 12 carries, 58 yards, right, a five yard average per carry.
And I remember when Alec Camera was out last year, you look at all purpose yards.
He was at, like 1 50 to 1 53 yards, so I just think Murray just seems like he's always falling forward.
So whether it's like a four yard game five yard gain, so I just think that when all said, and done the way we were running the ball 6.
1 average that I said, Shame on us.
If we only had 18 1920 attempts, why wouldn't we have high twenties, almost thirties? Because the Packers, if I'm looking at we they had 59 staff snaps.
The only average basically 3.
5 yards to run, but they had 26 attempts.
I mean, sometimes I think Coach Payton Now I know you're not probably not going to comment on this, and I don't even ex coach being this.
Sometimes we're a little too cute.
Why not keep hammering the ball? I don't care for its Murray our camera because Murray given opportunities, really excel for us.
Well, yeah, I mean and believe me, Bobby, I know exactly where you're coming from.
But But if you look at the point at which we were at when we turned the ball over that, that's a driver where we're in control of the game.
At that point, we just stopped him.
You know, we just got 1/4 down stop, and we're actually, you know, we're about to run the ball and that That's a legitimate drive.
Where we're gonna we'll have a nice mix running past like coach does.
And a to that point where we at with our carries, you know what I'm saying? Like when we got the ball back there after what had happened, we turn it over, they go down, they score, Then you're you're behind the mark a little bit.
And then before you know it, you have to play catch up.
You're down by 10.
And so those opportunities to run it or down the drain Now you have to play catch up.
So, um, but listen, let aliases.
He's our hammer.
He's a study, and you're right, he always falls forward.
I mean, you don't ever feel like this guy's gonna lose any yardage and just I know the offensive line loves this guy because they love the way that he runs aggressively.
You know, he when he hits it, he hits it and he's gonna fall forward.
And, you know, it makes when you're blocking for a guy like that, it really just makes you want to give everything you've got because it's you feel like you're you're part of that with him and it makes you just in general makes you better.
Ah, better run team because you're more aggressive, Dan.
Last one for you, for me, is you guys kind of look forward here.
Now, as you move forward to the Detroit Lions, if if they're in your opinion and just your opinion that this team, um, needs to do better toe win this week, what's the one thing? Yeah, well, I think it's what we've talked about its discipline play way, Can't have the penalties.
Alright, that have cost us.
Um and you know, critical times in the game.
I think I think that ultimately if we handle that, I think will win this game and everything for us moving forward has gotta be.
This is all about.
It's not about how do we be Detroit right now with what we know we have, and that's our sole focus, and it's not a time to panic, but it is a time to have a sense of urgency about winning this game, and everything's got to go into this game, all right, and we have to focus our attention on it as players and coaches and whatever it takes, we got a freaking get it done and that's That's the focus.
That's the mindset.
Dan Campbell, assistant head coach.
Tight ends coach is well, Dan man, you're the You're the man.
Hate to use that rhyme there.
Hey, is the man and all the stuff.
Tonight was great, buddy, and we really appreciate all the time.

Let's go back to the Monday Night Coaches show in progress.
No network back to Coach Bobby A bear and sack Strief.
Welcome back to the Saints Coaches shows extreme Bobby Hebert with you till 7.
30 tonight before we kick it over to Monday Night Football.
Quite a game tonight.
Kansas City Chiefs and the Baltimore Ravens.
A little bit of a we're gonna call Inaudible here at the line of scrimmage.
If you can't get head coach Sean Payton, get his boss.
We got executive vice president and general manager of the Saints ****ey Loomis making.
How you doing, buddy? I'm good. Zach.
Bobby, good to talk to you.
You guys get the It's GV team tonight.
Well, no, it's not the JV because you're freaking George, your man.
Next time, I'm gonna try to get Miss Gail.
So, you know, just keep going up, then I'm gonna run out of people, E ****ey.
Obviously, with your role in building this roster and building this this football team, one of the things you guys have always talked about is bringing in smart players and bring in guys who, you know, don't make, uh, you know, kind of bone headed mistakes and having said that, you watch the last couple of games, you watch the troubles this team has had with penalties.
You watch the and again some of the inopportune moments in which these penalties were going.
How surprising is it for you to see this roster that is really built to avoid this very situation? How? How surprising Hasn't been to see it unfold this way.
Well, ask you a question, E.
First of all, um, there's nothing that ever surprises.
You are very seldom surprises you.
You know, in this game, you know, guys can make mistakes and it playing, you know, you want to play it hard and fast, fast, injurious, and mistakes could be made.
Um, but look, it is It is something we have to get cleaned up.
You know, we've had we've had, you know, particularly last two games, a significant amount of penalties or the 10.
Eight this week.
Um, and and really, I think the keys, You know, the keys to this game last night were two things, you know, obviously the penalties that we're talking about right now, and then the turnover, um, you know, we knew it was gonna be a fight.
You know, we knew it was too good football teams and was going to come down to play a key player too late in the game.
And, man, I thought I thought and I think we all thought that when we had the sport one stop and got that ball back with the score tied that that might be the key play, that it can propel us to victory.
And then And then, you know, shortly thereafter, we turn it over and and they get a score and put us a little bit behind the eight ball.
As time is, you know, starting toe dwindle down.
And, uh um, but like what you said is right, I'm a little surprised.
You know what? Typically, a team that's not going to make foolish mistakes.
Um, but But we've had some penalties that you are.
Some of them are a little more than just in the course of the action.
Um, there are things that could be avoided that we've got to get cleaned up now, make you with that being said.
I mean, I was like, practice.
It looks like the defense is kicking ass I mean, I would say the 14 practice, maybe the defense 1 11 out of 14 and you wanna you want the defensive backs and everyone toe have swagger and and they got that spunk and they looking forward to every day.
But then you don't have official and then you could say, Well, that was a good pass defendant.
But then maybe the official model called the penalty.
How do you address that? Because you want your defensive backs to be aggressive, but they can't be too aggressive when you get a penalty called on him.
I mean, how do you address that? Because, ah, lot of times, this is high school college professional.
So all teams on discipline.
So it's a reflection of the head coach.
I know Sean Payton addresses this, but it just seems like this is one category that listen, it's not a good deal.
You're not gonna win NFL games if you're leading in penalties where there's total penalties or your negative yardage as far as dealing with penalties.
And so I was at practice.
I mean, I know that look like a good pass, defended, but maybe official might see it a different way end up calling that holding or maybe a p.
I, uh that would occur.
Yeah. Look, what were you saying? Inaccurate.
Um, look, I think it's just a matter of paying attention to detail each and every day, and I feel like our coaches do a good job of that, but we also have to adjust to the way that the game is being called.
Look, I think you and I would probably say some of these calls.
We have some su****ions about them, Yes, in terms of whether they're good calls or not.
But we have to adjust to it.
You know, we can't put ourselves in the position of of allowing an official toe to make a judgment like that.
Um, you know, whether it whether it's, ah, penalty or not a penalty.
You know, we just have to adjust to that.
The other thing is, is it is that Look, way should Yeah, we're good enough.
And we should be able to take it to the point where one call isn't gonna make a break game.
Now, when you're playing a tough opponent like the Packers, that can happen.
So I wanted to play that make all the difference in the game.
But, you know, your point of of Look, we gotta pay attention to that.
In practice, we get a bit more detail than we have to adjust.
The way, the way the game is being called is absolutely true.
Now, make you look at him the defensive side of the ball, because I'm gonna tell you.
Listen, I wanna offense the role and they rolled a year in and year out, but I want our defense to be, uh, you know, weekend and week out in top 10.
I want us to be on that level.
I could see right now I'm kind of disappointed.
I've ever seen Cam Jordan have back to back games where he didn't have a significant impact.
I think Trey Hendrickson is playing at an unbelievable level, but it's kind of a mixed bag when I look at the deep Yeah, ****, we loaded.
Once again, it's reloaded.

So once again, we apologize for having a little technical issues with our stream.
So once again, we apologize.
Trying to make sure we get a good connection issues.
We're having a little connection Problems.
Really good. Solid.
We saw saw the chop in Germany, E Okay, once again, we apologize.
We can't get the livestream, so we're gonna have toe once again.
We'll start with our coaches show once again.
T o l s u Let's go to the L s u press conference.
I'm gonna go to L s u press conference.
L s u will take on Vanderbilt.
We apologize for that.
We couldn't get the stream up.
So once again, I and definitely apologize.
So let me get this set up for you.
Yeah, does wait a few minutes.
Oh, E guys tell truth.
Money Way spent all day yesterday ****yzing the film.
The truth is, we got a coach.
Better gusto with me.
Gotta prepare our team.
Better. Got a coach of all coaches better.
We gotta execute better.
We gotta make better endgame adjustments.
Uh, during the game during halftime, uh, could have had a better plan on both sides of the football first game.
So here, one of the things that we're gonna do today is we're gonna talk about stance, alignment, assignment, get back to fundamentals.
Getting back to playing the L s U standard of performance, which was not there Saturday night.
I'll take all responsibility, but we're gonna get it fixed and get going.
I believe in this culture itself.
I believe in the steam.
Although they heard today by order, we're gonna come back and have a great practice on defense.
You only had 383 yours after a catch.
Obviously, that's tackling.
Too many guys running free.
We gotta work on our coverage.
We had some mistake's and our coverage and leverage and technique and assignments.
Some of the positives.
We had five sacks because four turnovers and scored a defense that was very positive.
I thought the pressure on the quarterback was there a time it could get better on offense.
We gotta protect the quarterback.
Better give up seven sacks.
Some of that was scheme, so that was technique and way got to protect the quarterback better.
And then we got to make better decisions in the pocket.
We have some guys open.
We didn't hit him, could have stood up in the popular main decisions.
I think that's gonna come with more spirits and with mouth, eliminate the drop.
Too many drops, especially the beginning.
The game with critical drops that hurt all drives.
We've got to run the ball boom, more special teams.
I thought we played very well on special teams, 49.
5 yards per punt, five inside the 22 for two of field goals, seven cakes all touched by.
Well, I'm looking forward today.
I'm looking forward to seeing the team looking forward.
Toa coaches identified the things that we could do better coming up with solutions and have a great deal.
Practice on the vegetable.
Derek Mason has done outstanding job. Outstanding.
I have a lot of respect for his outstanding defensive culture.
I know Derek very welcoming to leases on that staff, the others defensive line playing very well.
I thought they played pretty darn good against their defense.
Played pretty good against Texas A and M way plus doing the turnover ratio.
They have what we call a pro.
Spread on offense for returning starters.
Only had 12 12 points against in him.
Ken Seals is their quarterback.
Abdul Rahim is a long and ranging receiver.
Pretty good athlete.
Defense, I think, is what their strong point is right now.
They have an excellent defensive line in jail.
They'll one of top players that we see the at seven tackles, two tackles were lost, one sack quarterback hurry against Texas A and M and Audrey Miss defensive end.
I think their defensive line is very good available, but you're just gonna be about us.
It's about about this week about us getting back on the winning track about playing industry, standard performance, any questions, right? Help their parents.
But look at it forever and what I have Yeah, you know, Derek is I think Derek's gonna be back.
I talked to Jack.
We're waiting for all the medical exams declare, but I expect you back as early and maybe tomorrow.
I'm not sure Glenn Logan will not be available for this week and he will be available for Missouri Mega Read four in one omega three support more than just heart health.
They power in your eyes joints and for hey, coach. Morning. Shocking.
Still nine, um, taking a look at the running back rotation.
How do you think that worked out? And is it? I know you wanna work on three guys in.
There's a kind of ah, debate.
Get a guy warm and getting going.
Yeah, you know, that's what we wanna do.
Obviously, Chris is out.
I'll leave back right now, in my opinion.
But Tyronn and John, I thought John did some good stuff on short yardage I mean, you would think that Chris and Chiron would be there in short order, but Kevin playing destroyed yours. He had some good runs.
So I'm pleased with our backs.
I think we need to run, run the football more, get them or carries and get them or touches on the backfield.
Didn't catch the ball enough on the backfield.
You mentioned about on Saturday that maybe you guys, we need to play more zonal.
You said there may be back here.
I mean, after watching the tape, what would prevent some of those in game adjustments there? You expect any changes against Vanderbilt there? Yeah.
You know, uh, you know all those of those decisions we talked about it and, uh, you know, they would hit this.
Those of pick routes, um, over routes.
Uh, some of it was scheme, some of it.
There's some kind of adjustments that we could do not necessarily play zone, but you could do some adjustments and man passing guys off, not passing guys off.
We may do that, but may do that may not do that.
Uh, you know, have a dirt.
Not there really hurt us. Obviously.
But I'm glad that he's healthy.
His safety is a foremost importance us.
So I'm glad that he's healthy. He's okay.
You know, Jay Ward was out for practice for two weeks.
We didn't even think no, he could play.
He played a lot of snaps.
I thought he did a very good job, but obviously was a little rusty there.
So I think there's some combination of things that will short on corners.
Not having Derrick hurt us.
We had a game plan that we were gonna play man and man him up.
We thought we could man up when the receivers.
We should have made a couple of more adjustment during the game.
You're talking a little bit about the past West allegations to step in.
Well, in that regard that you all don't flex his rage, just get that comparable is from him in his first assist.
You know, way have seen it in practice and Ali came and just made start making improvement every day.
And I remember during the covert he didn't go home and all he stayed here and learned, studied and worked out on his own.
And we just saw the camp.
He just kept on coming and coming and coming.
And so I didn't know he was that type of game.
I thought he had an excellent game.
Hey, beat that tackle pretty good.
He had a lot of a lot of pressures.
Essam batted balls.
He's told he played to run very well.
I think he would have an excellent year. Force.
I got the Oh, welcome to your 30 minutes.
Keep doing that.
You mentioned on Saturday.
How have with next couple of days with you guys transfer leadership, trying to move on to the next game.
You gotta take us inside those meetings yesterday and today.
How teams responding after your first lost.
First of all, stick together, Don't panic and believe in each other.
Number one that comes from me and we're not gonna change anything, Dr Sick.
But you know what? We've got to tighten up on some stuff.
Uh, we've got to play with more energy.
We gotta play with more desire.
We gotta make plays.
We gotta coach better.
All those things that slip up on you.
When? When you're winning, you know? Hey, the championships over And you know this.
This this is a new season, a new team.
But now definitely we know that.
Hopefully our guys could start, but they want today focus on one game of the time and then to build.
Here's my job to get this team Azaz well as we possibly can, and the play of the else you standard performance.
And obviously Saturday night was a big disappointment to me and everybody else and understanding.
Yes, you have a kind of bounce off that.
It's your first time first postgame week with both cleaning.
What? What has he been like these past 48 hours? And like those that coach, fantastic, He's the first guy to come see me in my dressing room for his guys and coaching.
I should have done a better job and he was hurting just like everybody else.
And we went over the film and he saw the things that he did well.
So the things that we must have will improve.
He's been fantastic day.
He's an outstanding coach.
He's heard just like everybody else.
Yeah, because the offense, of course, they finally really been the second half But Terrace Marks just picked up the pace that you want some last season.
Is there anything a connection? But it will be able to maintain this season s Oh, man, I like I like the lawnmower.
I thought I thought learning through the long ball very well.
Hey, missed a couple down the pipe there about 30 through the global were very well that just that terrorists may was outstanding.
Skinny post was really good.
You know, one of Steve Stretches taking shots and my one of miles and stretches his arms, start throwing the football terraces.
An excellent receiver that he dropped the ball or two.
He made some mistakes on the screen.
One time you're supposed to block out.
He had a little error, so I know he knows that that he could do better.
But hopefully those guys can have a big time connection throughout the year.
In the model college years, I was looking at the debt charted in the secondary.
It's mostly soft wars, you know, or less thinks maybe something that way have to get used to with the roster this year has, you know, you know what happens is our our corners a three and out here they Most of our guys go three and out.
We have a lot of young guys, a lot of young guys playing for the first time.
And, you know, there was a lot of one on one situation.
You got to give credit.
Mississippi State's receivers came to play, their quarterback was on fire.
Coach had a great scheme, put our guys in some difficulty situations, and sometimes they did it.
Sometimes they didn't.
When they didn't, it was touchdown.
You know, one of the things that we got to get better on third down, your third down 20.
They get a first down one way, gotta stop that.
There's some third down where they may have touched out.
Also, those young guys, they're gonna grow up.
But that's that's what we have.
We believe in those guys.
Cornell Flat had an excellent camp.
Hey, did some good things in the game.
There's some things we gotta improve on.
I think you will see a better J Award nominees healthy and practice.
This is the coolest place that all Well, time A stuff like that.
It seems like everybody is that, uh, you know a uco a, uh, everybody e you don't block out the noise about Twitter machines off.
You know, I hate to say, God, I don't get Fox to take that route.
I ain't watching e watching, You know? E just gotta focus on the task at hand.
Look, the game's over.
Last year's over.
What did they say one year? Wonder whether that don't bother me.
I don't care this about our football team.
And you know what? It's got a good toe.
Batten down the hatches a little bit tight, knit down, turn toward the machine off.
They're really focusing on Big Venable.
That's all we can do right now.
That's gonna be the focus on football team.
The one thing I want our team to understand now, totally locker room.
When you win, I'll give you the credit.
What we don't We're not taking what is my job to fix it, and I guarantee you this week we'll start fixing.
Yes is Adam Sparks, the Tennessee in Nashville coach fans air not permitted to attend Mandeville home games this year because of Kobe and only giving the conference.
Have you mentioned that to your team this this stadium is gonna be completely empty.
And do you have any concerns that will take away the edge? You know, obviously at, uh, I love the have fans in there.
I love the Have Tiger Stadium full.
I think it's a bit of big time advantage for us.
I want to praise the fans that were there.
They got loud at the end.
I could I could hear him.
I'm sure that the Vanderbilt fans and disappointed that they can't go.
But you know what? That's what.
We got a deal and I haven't talked to the, uh that's what we gotta do with I have not talked to the team yet, but there will be no fans there.
But we've got to create all the energy.
This is a mistake, created their energy.
We've got to create our And after the game, Miles said that they were dropping back, taking away his quick throws and taking away his lanes.
Yeah, is part of that, too.
On on the handoffs, he never kept.
Think those What can you do to adjust their to make that work? Yeah, First of all, I think, uh, Miles is exactly right.
They will drop it in the short windows.
They figured that we were gonna throw them all short, short, easy throws, uh, to be able to get him comfortable.
I thought they had a really good scheme on defense.
Now we gotta make better adjustments.
I mean, we gotta we gotta spread them out, make better adjustments.
Especially when we look over, we stop with the line of scrimmage and we look over.
We know the defensive end.
We gotta make better adjustment right there.
Number one, I think that he needs to get get rid of the ball a little bit quicker, Little bit hesitant in the pocket.
Stay in the pocket a little bit.
Mawr have better pocket presence and make better decisions.
I think is a combination of both here.
Well, some of your new guys.
How do you think they played it the over sometimes? Yeah, I thought they played great.
You know, Eric makes makes a mistake.
You know? He dropped the first one.
I talked to him yesterday.
He was nervous, but that play made it ends.
We gotta target him.
I thought it to grow crops for the most part, had a very productive game.
You know, getting that interception for a touchdown, running around, making, making plays a very active but again assignment.
Wires gap, responsibility wise.
There's some things you can get better at.
I thought both of those guys played pretty good.
I thought Elias Rex did some good things, getting it, uh, the pick and place a good thing.
But it's something that you got to get better at.
Typical first game, you talked about the one that running backs touch the ball more.
Are you pleased overall, with kind of rotation you went with Is there anyone who, baby from what you that, you know, makes you look at the film kind of shy and a little more to make you say easing it, uh, or carries? Yeah, Not yet.
You know, Chris, Chris had a good game.
John had a good game.
Tires were really good back.
There are some things that all three them do.
I just think we need to get the running game going for I like to run Mawr first down.
Let's get some positive yards.
Let's get in the second and four second and three where it could make some good decisions.
But, you know, they will run stunning.
And that they will running Bear they were.
Listen, that guy through, we gotta get a better planet.
We gotta pick these guys up.
There was too much penetration.
Great news, movie theaters.
So here's what Theaters air, click that out Way Could have heard.
Uh, coach, plenty of both. Similar.
You're firing nature.
We could have been a fly on the wall listening to him, Uh, the last few days, 19 meetings and coaches.
What's he been like? Compared to you, I'm sure similar on the Alex.
His he's ceiling performed very well on Saturday.
People thought he was rolling.
He signed it, but yeah, both games.
Great speeches on Friday night.
Hey, handles the defense.
You know, he's been a head coaching.
Goes on to talk to the football team.
He had the guys motivated? Uh, no, he's been vory Oh, I want to say, uh, not apologetic.
Not humble, but just you know what? I could have done better, Coach.
Hurt that he didn't do better.
Heard that the defense didn't do better.
Just like? Well, you know, I told May put it on me.
We're gonna get it fixed.
I say Ali was wrong with came here.
I gotta give Bill Bush credit.
Oh, he recorded them just like you recorded Joe Burrow.
And then he believed that he could play.
Bill Johnson went.
Watch him and think of bills.
First days, it might have been, like 20 degrees up there or 10 degrees.
Bill came back, said Ali runs wellness taken and all his game and work hard.
I think he is gonna be a high pick.
1st, 2nd, 3rd round pick.
You're gonna play in the NFL.
He's got the size, hopefully stays for two years.
Don't get too good.
Re interest from L s U tiger TV.
So? So you said that.
You know, you'll have to create your own energy, especially with the loss of fans at the Vanderbilt hanging this loss.
Having it be such a hurts his team such a let down after a great season we had last year.
Do you think this will kind of put a fire under this team to create their own energy to kind of build them up for this game coming up this weekend.
Can I get you to talk about today? I love it.
It puts the fire.
May I guarantee to you that? Yeah.
We're gonna have a fire.
This is a big game for us.
We'll take it one at a time.
We're gonna play with.
So far, we're gonna play with some energy.
And that energy was not there for some reason, for some reason. Another.
It wasn't there.
That's that's up to me.
To get that done, I have to take my mask off a little bit more to scream.
I felt like I was a little muzzle with my master.
Hey, coaches shaking 24 7 with smiles is middle makeup in just the past couple of days after you watch the film and in that time digester gonna get better, you'll see where he made mistakes.
That's that's miles.
Miles is humble.
You know what? He makes a good throws, though, you know? But he was inconsistent, and I obviously we gotta protect it, you know, with my mouth feels a little pressure.
He wants to scramble outside.
He's got to sit in there.
But, you know, sometimes you can't.
I mean, he's trying to avoid, so I think it all comes.
So the protection first easy throws what could make decisions, put out playmakers in space, let him make plays, throwing them all, take shots that once we get that rhythm, we're gonna be fine.
Oh, but he's coming on stupid as stupid ass for I hate this ****ing ass.
Wait a few minutes.
We're like a coach.
Derek comes back today.
Are running the whole god**** time.
Uh, you think you'll be able to play or does this bill this big cautious that, you know I'm open.
He can play, then obviously makes a difference on our team.
We need That is a position of need.
Very short there.
But we always gonna put his health first.
I'm a list of doctors.
I talked to his mom and daddy.
The doctor said he could play.
Derrick says he can play that mama.
Daddy says it's ok.
He's gonna play of that. He won't.
But I expect him to play.
Expect the baby to be back in practices.
Is it, uh, ISAT working through the levels of both of receivers just like this.
The O camp and way had pressure quarterback the bus? No, the the wheel round goes five yards down the field.
Crossing routes must play behind across around third down.
Those things really surprised me.
Can't against all of e.
I was I was surprised that they gained that many orphans.
You're talking about Miles a couple of times there with his time in the pocket decisions.
Cannot here not not not the rest.
Oh, well, Miles Miles knows what he's looking at. There's no question.
Okay? I can't get the a decision.
Make a decision.
And what? Joe didn't made a decision quick.
And let let let go two more quick.
E quicker, I think.
Learn how to avoid the play outside, stepping up in the pocket, like through it's not coming in operation and let us receivers come open.
And when he does, he receive open pull the trigger 43 throw the ball just like any great quarterback would sound.
Um, Saturday was obsolete passenger.
We're an outlier, but I was curious if you or anybody on the staff talking about have been in the game quite like that where you put 100 yards, created four turnovers, give defensive.
Sorry I'm that person.
So many things that you point to and say you have to have these things.
Well, e can you or anyone on the staff remember a time where you went from, what games like that, here or elsewhere? We're talking about that today.
No, I've seen it.
Haven't seen it.
And it was the breakdown, the passing game on defense.
That's what it was.
And one on ones.
And they had a good scheme.
We should have made some metal adjustments throughout their And, you know, it will know having Derek not there really hurts.
I mean, Derek is they force is a great player and, uh, all guys not being healthy.
I'm not making excuses for him, but that really hurt us.
And that was giving me hope for this football team.
I think that when we get Derek back, we'll get our guys healthy.
We're gonna be fine every time for two more will go flirty and then go in and obviously way.
Well, close to it that I was Well, I think there was 46.
38. Something like that.
We're very close to it.
But way came out of second half.
We need we need thio.
Establish the line of scrimmage way.
You can't drop back past every time I run, especially with the three great running backs that we have in a 4/4 1, I think, Compadre Branford, but we gotta have to run the ball.
We have to be 50 50.
Last year we ran the ball very well.
We had one running play last year we had inside zone.
You know what they made everybody miss.
It would make place.
This is a different year.
And not to say that we don't have that running back.
But, you know, we have to find things that this year that this team does.
Well, yeah, because I guess I'll get in one better.
Don't question the closest thing off, I guess.
Yeah, they, you know, touch Santa.
Right? Great lengths slash You know, on Saturday.
I'm just curious what the early scouting report has been on then and just kind of how you guys were prepared that they really learn on your schedules here for Well, first of all, conservation is an excellent defensive guy.
I have known him for a while.
I used to study this stuff at Stanford.
I could teach you these.
Air, who coached the defensive line with me who played defensive line, is now coaching their defensive line.
And those guys were playing lights out.
They're playing great technique.
They're playing great defense.
They have two of the best defensive lineman, one on one of the best linemen in the conference.
They can rush the passer, so I think that's their strength.
Share after that can choose.
It's the easiest, because it's the cheesiest away for this freaking hand.
It's made for him, a veteran who honorably served and it's made for her.
So once again, I apologize for having too many ads.
No, it's too many ads.
So, once again, this is from, uh, Coach Coach.
You're on today.
Once again, um, we had to do it through the phone.
We don't have no sound on the mix, so once again, we apologize for that.
So, um, we do apologize.
So So, once again, we will go ahead and give you a preview on Vanderbilt.
Let's go ahead and give you that.
Get that up on the screen.
So go ahead and we'll go ahead.
Film study on Vandeveld.
Let's go and give you that.
Don't study on Vanderbilt.
And, um, let's go ahead.
Start at the first beginning.
Um, um, So we're looking at it right now.
We're looking right now.
We have to be on screen on here.
3rd and 8th situation.
Um, let me put this in a little bit.
Um, put this on my side and put this on here.
You'll see it. 38.
So let's go ahead and run through the film study.
Okay? This is, um, film study right here.
This is what we're looking at third and eight situation, so they'll hand the ball off.
So this is what they're gonna do.
Vanderbilt, this was against, um um Texas A and M.
So they'll run the ball.
So they got a nice or run ball nice or runner right there.
So he will run the ball, and that will get him the yards right there that they need.
So that's the biggest concern, right? There is the running game.
Number three is there, running back for Vanderbilt, so they'll get the ball to him, so he's gonna get so nice.
Whole cuts right there.
So nice little cut going in.
So this is what they do we're looking at.
Okay, this is on 1st and 10.
Vanderbilt on defense, Texas A and M on offense.
So they'll throw a pass, play good little past Plato against the and, um, against the Vanderbilt defense.
So it's a nice little reception right there.
So nice little reception.
So this is on once again, 1st and 10.
So we'll we'll go through it.
This is a, um so they'll throw the past place so it throws the screen.
So this is on non.
Let's go. Let's scroll it.
So we'll want it.
And we'll wanted to another place.
So give you another play.
This is on once again.
Um, so they'll throw the past play.
This is a deep ball right here, So nice catch.
So number two will get that pass right there.
So it's a good catch right there for a first down.
So once again, l s u defense has to come in and just out.
Because I'll be honest with you, that is going to be a good That was a good reception right there.
So I'll be honest with you.
They need to just so Okay, that steals. That's their quarterback.
So the C I rose out.
See, I rose out towards the right trying to get it passed place so he'll get his passes up and he would throw that pass.
Right? It, um, that why I received this is their quarterback number number eight. That seal.
Um, so I'll show you another places.
So this is, um, handle play right here, so they'll get it to the running back. Number 32.
So that guy, I'm gonna tell you that's one of the best running backs that they have on Vanderbilt scene.
So I look at it this way.
L s u Defense is gonna have to be consistent when it comes toe, uh, containing, um, this young in this individual right here.
This guy is, um, so nice or run by him.
So he just gets a well run runs behind those tackles.
So that's one thing the l s U Defense is gonna have to do is control that line of scrimmage in that game versus, uh uh then this weekend.
Okay, this is on. Once again.
They're in the shotgun.
Vanderbilt on defense.
They will drop back number 11 trying for the past.
And that that would be a good reception right there against the That was a good penetration right there against the Bandy defense.
That was, um so number 11.
He would just throw it right into the right into coverage.
But it was a good pass play to number two.
So this is on fourth and eight right here, fourth down and eight going into the, um, Vandy at Vani trying to go for it.
It's the punt formation, so they will point, and it looks like there will be a kickoff return right here.
So we'll kick off and return the kickoff.
And that was a good defensive play by Vandy.
So they're pretty good on that.
Special teams play right there.
That's on fourth and eight.
That's in the second quarter.
That's on fourth and eight situation.
So this is on, then it will, um, Then he will run the ball.
So they're going to run the football.
So they're nine times out of 10.
They're going to run the football.
So that's one run right there that that we're gonna have to contain right there.
Because if we don't don't contain it, That's what they're gonna rack up yards.
So we're gonna give you those numbers in just a second.
So once we finish this film study, so this is on once again, this is on 1st and 10.
Van is running a four down linemen to everybody's on back.
So once again, everybody's back there respecting the pass right here.
These all the year.
Um, your secondary, This your linebackers and stuff like that, you alignments are on the young.
This the four down linemen.
So it's what What's what's gonna happen here? They're gonna arm look for a pass play, and it looks like he's gonna run.
So it was a run play.
So they they was expecting the past play.
But it was definitely a run place and the nice, perfect pursuit by the Vandy defense in that game vs Texas A and now, So I'll be honest with you.
So we cannot one thing.
One thing for sure we cannot allow, um, penetration against that, um, against our office of mine.
We cannot live the penetration.
That's one thing we cannot allow.
Is that penetration? Okay.
This is, um Okay, this is on the shotgun formation.
Um, this is what happened.
So it's a nice little run play once again, that's the run place.
And they had a nice little player that this is on once again.
So, um run play right here.
So they will get the run.
Play in, um, Texas A and M.
That was against the Vandy defense.
That was on 1st and 10.
So they will get a big game right there on that run. Play.
Um, this is, um What's it again? A shotgun formation.
Vandy, back on the four down linemen, they have you three.
Um um, linebackers in your everybody's covering. So run.
Play right here.
So, once again, this is a, um, nice low end up look, right? They have the run play.
What happened in that game? Vs theme.
So this is on the second and nine situation once again.
Vandy on defense.
Texas A and M on offense.
Let's see what happens on this play.
Don't try to throw a pass.
A pro, A pass play dump off pass.
Um, he'll get it right into the zone, so it would be a touchdown.
So that was number 81 on that reception.
Good penetration against the Vandy defense.
That was so Kelly Mounds.
He had a nice hall pass play against that.
So this is on 1st and 10.
Vandy has the ball once again, Texas A and M running therefore down Lineman's they also running there.
Everybody back waiting for expecting the past.
They're gonna be in that shotgun nine times out of 10 so they're definitely going to be in the shotgun.
So they're gonna throw a pass play right here, they're gonna throw a pass, and that's gonna be up to the sidelines.
So eso that is a pass play right there.
So it was a good pass plight.
But here's the thing about that Number 86.
He's one of their good wide receiver.
So that's one of their wide, tight and wide receivers that's going to make those plays for the then the ball.
So this is on second seven situation.
We'll, um we'll watch it once again.
Second seven, Um, they're running their four down linemen.
So back to afford down line.
123444 down linemen for them and banning.
And that is a That's a nice little pick right there by the Texas A and M defense.
That was a good um, so that's the things you have to do when it comes to, um, controlling the Vandy passing attack.
It's just tryingto get a pic.
Try to get a turnover.
That's the biggest.
Um, um, situation we have to do in that game versus, um, **** on Saturday.
So he's that quarterback seal that quarterback, I'm gonna tell you.
He's just, um He's just something.
Um He had a nice little throat right there, but he had it picked.
So number 26 comes in on that play.
This is on third and seven Kevin Kelly mounds.
In that game, I had 116 yards.
Yeah, 1 10 for 17 against the van de defense.
So, Vanden, once against running there once again.
1234 And then there.
Everybody's covered the They covered that man.
So this guy young, this guy's covering his man right here.
So he's covering number 23 is covering his man and nobody else on this side.
So the two wide receivers over on this side and let's see what happens when this play so they'll throw a pass.
Play right there.
So it will be on third and seven so they don't get some of those yards back.
So nice for penetration, going towards the sideline versus the Vandy defense that was on third and seven situation.
So they'll look at it this way.
That's going to be the keys right there to slow them down.
Um, slow their defense down.
Um, nice pass plate right there.
So it's a nice little past the number two.
So their wives, that's on number two.
That's one of their wide receivers that z for Vanderbilt.
So I tell you what.
There he's going to be a good, uh, aspect for their team.
So once again, this is on third and eight situation, so we'll pause it for a second.
Uh, once again, um, band is running a shotgun formation.
Everybody, um um um, to wide receiver.
Two wide receivers on this side.
So one of these days, you get three wide receivers right here and then the wide receiver right here.
So they're going to run those sets right there, so they're going to get into those sets.
So they got 1231234 So it's gonna be a four wide receivers set, and then the one back so that one back right there is going to be the the back that's going to get that football.
If it's run, or if it's a pass, there's gonna be a past.
So that was nice or pass plate s.
Oh, this is number two once again.
So he stands out pretty well in this video right here in this, um, film.
So they stand up pretty well.
So I look at it this way.
This is one of the reasons we have to contain these guys.
We have to contain them in the instant because they could throw that ball.
Um, Texas A and M leading in that one.
So once again, inside sports.
Well, thanks for coming in.
Once again, if you have a question and comment about this game, please post your comment.
Yeah, they did play.
Their defense did play well.
In this film, Yes.
Um, we are looking at their The offense wasn't terrible.
So yeah, that was just the Now it's just the appear to me right there inside sports.
Well, so we're all going through the film home.
So if you got any more questions about it, please, um Don't free, um 17 to Texas.
Texas A and Yeah, that was 17 to Texas was so amazing.
Yes, I appreciate that.
Thank you for that comment.
So once again, this is on third and five situation.
So this is a pass going to be a pass play coming in, and that is a nice little past.
Play the number two.
So once again, this young man right there can catch the ball.
I think he's an excellent quarterback for this Vanderbilt Commodores team.
So we're gonna have to contain him, because look, last week last time l s u played up in, um, in Nashville, it was just an outright, um, shootout.
It was an outright shoot out.
It was a 66 to something game.
Um, to be honest, which is 66.
I think it was 35 a couple of years ago when we played up there against Vanderbilt.
So let's roll it again.
Let's roll into another screen was rolling to another, um, roll into another, um, play.
Let's see that play right here.
This is on the pick right here.
Number 18 on that reception.
So that was a nice little interception, right? Reception for against the Vanderbilt.
Um, they and nice or pass play right here.
So that's number 81 on that reception.
So it was a good, um, reception on that Play and run play right there.
So they will get 28 to run the football for him.
Once again, you get a medical question or comment about l s u Vandevelde.
Give us your comments.
Fear the SportsCastr chat room.
Also, if you want to come in video chat with us, you can. We will.
We are doing film study right now, So we are starting the film of Texas A and M and Vander Bill, um, to give in, um, and then site.
Um, on what was to come this Saturday when l s u takes on the Vanderbilt Commodores um, in Nashville.
So nice or run by Cal amounts, He gets some yards right there.
That was on the 3rd and 15 situation.
He gets some of the yards back.
It was 14 armed, 12.
And then, um, they kicked a field goal.
So this is the young guy right here.
This is, um, Smith.
Um, um carries 48 yards against the Van de Ville defense.
So that was a nice little, um, 6.
9 yards for average and a game versus, um So once again, Bandy, will the defense number 28? They get a nice little run right there.
So a nice little run they run to grind the clock.
So they that's what they did.
They grind the clock.
Once again, this is a Vandy on offense.
2nd 71 back in the backfield.
Um, two wide receivers to your right.
So what happens on this play? Nice.
Well, I would say nice little penetration right there.
So it was a nice little penetration going in versus the quarterback on for Vanderbilt. That seals.
So he gets, um, sackful loss, and then what happened on this play right here.
So van you would throw a deep pass right here, and it would get, um, tapped and intercepted, so that was an interception right there.
So, like I said, if we could get some on turnovers like that, that would help our defense in the long run.
So I think that's probably going to be the key.
Is getting those turnovers, Um, in a game versus, um, them.
So this was this was a flag, but looked like there was fighting right there.
It looks like banned.
It looks like they're gonna That was a tip, and that was an interception.
That was just, um l advised Pass, but he will get his passes out.
That's one thing in common.
You can rest assured that he will get those passes out to his wide receivers in the game.
So that is just my take on it.
So let's see what else we'll talk about.
This is on once again, 3rd and 11 nice or defense? Defensive play by the Texas A and M defense.
So that was in the game versus, um, the Vanderbilt Commodores.
Once again, they lose 17 12.
So let's go ahead and go over the numbers.
Go stat numbers in the game and give you those numbers and just the second.
Mommy, switch this over.
Go with the Vanderbilt Commodores screen.
This is on football database.
Will give you full inside on them.
Okay, once again, um, here's how the scoring began.
This was in the first quarter.
Vandy scored on a field goal.
So it was three. Nothin. Vandy.
And then Vandy scored on the safety.
So it was a two point game.
So it wasn't, um It was a very low scoring affair, but, um, but Vandy did score their touchdown.
That was on a, um um, once again, um, seven yard pass play that was in the game.
That was in the third quarter.
And then Texas A and M scored, um, on the young field goals.
So it's kind of was nothing but field goals and safeties and stuff like that.
So let's give you the numbers on them. Yes.
Last Saturday last Saturday, 17 1st downs for the Vanderbilt Commodores.
They got most of their first sounds on past plays.
That was nine past plays and six run plays and Onley two penalties.
Um, the average some.
Their total yards was 2 37 3 70.
That was just, um, afterthought right there.
They ran the ball 38 times.
So this is a concern right here.
When they run that ball 38 times, that's just, um, action for troubles that he ran 38 times, 405 yards.
Just only a 2.8.
Um, average seven.
Just some under three.
They prove, um, they threw two interceptions in that game versus the Texas A and M defense, so they threw two interceptions.
So they they they were sacked two times for 18 yards in a game versus um, the Texas A and M Maggie's.
So that was just the y'all now the third down efficiency.
This is what happened in that third down efficiency.
They were at 41% they were at 41%.
So that's the biggest concern going into this game.
This Saturday versus the Tigers is at 41% 7 of 17.
It's not something you want to ride it ride home about that.
You cannot allow this to happen at all.
C Vandy allowed 40% they went for.
Then the defense allowed only just four per 10.
And again they had Onley three penalty.
So it's a minimal penalty.
Um, um situation.
They had six points in the game.
So if you can get this team to punt, uh, six or more times, that would help defense for L S U.
So I think that most likely will help if you can't get it toe happen while it is what it iss in the game.
So your time of possession.
Tom Possession was 33 59 for the Vanderbilt Commodores and 26 01 for the texting and Maggie's.
His quarterback rating was 1 10.
0, so it was 1 10.
Now the rushing for Vanderbilt, that main guy was, um k v k b on um Malala malam s m a r l o W.
Has 16 carries for about 65 yards.
The only average 4.
His longest run was 21 yards.
And then, um, Jamal Wakefield is another guy, uh, Tamara Wakefield.
He also averaged 2.
7 yards per carry in that game.
Now the wide receiver cord, This young man right here, this young man, um I mean, I dio right, man, I had five catches in that game.
He had five catches.
He only had the one score in that game.
So the other guys Well, Ben Branson, Wakefield, Johnson Johnson had two catches.
Um, Chris peers at two.
Um, Lebed, Um Lovell, Laban, Laban trying to say is J J J Love or had to also Carol Alexander.
So these catch these guys are we're gonna go over there their individual catches after the two games.
So I'm gonna go through those numbers in just a second.
I'm gonna give those numbers on those individuals.
We'll give you the Vanderbilt Commodores numbers.
We'll give you those in.
Just a second can see you in his gaze.
He, um Yet I could please some 20 of 29 passes I used as a 69% completion percentage.
Has one touchdown. He has one interception.
So that was in his touchdown percentages.
4 in hey was sacked two times.
Now the young guy.
The young individuals, he's running back, some can seal.
He's the only main guy that could run the ball so he could run the ball.
But these two individuals, um, Marlo, Marlo and Wakefield, these guys can thes thes Onley.
Averaging this guy right here is only averaging two.
I'm gonna be honest with you, so But it could be a dangerous some combination if you put those guys, If you give those guys a past flight, you get those guys a single pass play.
Guess what they're gonna They're gonna be a arm a danger job.
Now, the wide receiver corps.
You got this guy right here.
This young individual right here? Um Rob Ro man, he's a good catcher, right? He's a good pass catcher.
Eso I'll be honest with you.
They got some good wide receivers on their team.
Now, the defense of bomb team.
Let's give you the defense of numbers.
They had one second of game.
Their main guy got the sack last week was Danno.
Um uh, Dano is one of the young individuals.
He had a tackle for loss in that game, versus, um, so that's after two games right there for the Vanderbilt Commodores.
So after one game, excuse me after one game.
So their last game was against Vanderbilt.
So their own one, um, in this game this week.
But let's give your and then that look at Vanderbilt was Go ahead and give you those.
Okay, let's give you in that look. Okay.
The averaging 12 points a game, that 68 in the FBS 13th in the Epz um SEC and also given up 17 points there, 16 from the FBI s and four for the conference so forth in the SEC.
Also offensively the average 237 yards offense that ranked 14th in the SEC.
That's next, the last in the conference.
Also, they're running 70 up in the FBI, so they kind of not that good when it comes to running the football when they have total yards of offense.
Now running the football.
The ranked eighth in the SEC 59 from the FBI see averaging 105 yards a game.
So that Z uh, the breakdown on them also passing the football, they only throw for 1 32 so they throw for 1 32 in that game versus A and M uh, they ranked 14th in the country So that zit 66 in the FBS and 14th in the SEC.
So I look at it this way.
These are the similar situation that's gonna happen.
Let's give you their, um, 2019 stats or give you their stats from last time.
So we'll give you some stats from from there from their numbers from last time.
So this is from last.
Um, they average last year. They averaged.
Um um, 10 touchdowns last year for that was passing the football for the Vanderbilt Commodores.
That was last year, 2019 when they had they used um, rally O Neill, Do Wallace, Mole, Hansen, Allen, um, Waller's.
And these are the court.
They use so many quarterbacks and that in their system now, the running game they averaged.
Um, let's say the average, um, 4.
27 yards per carry and last year's season, so they averaged 4.
27 yards per carry.
And, yeah, running the football Now the wide receiver corps, the wide receiver corps average 10.
22 yards for a cat So there were pretty good catching the ball, um, against, um, stiffer competition.
So that zoom in 2019 season now, 2020 is entirely different now.
They're in a, um, coronavirus error.
So So I look at it this way, This game right here.
I'm not I'm not gonna I'm it's gonna be a high scoring game.
It's gonna be a high scoring affair between L s U and banned ability that some make no mistake about it.
It's gonna be a high scoring affair.
And that's one thing in common that we're looking at L s U in the last two games.
So let's give you their numbers last two games, I'll give you those breakdowns.
Okay? In points for game L s U averaging 34 points coming into this game versus the young Commodores that ranked 29th in the FBI, six in the SEC, also in yards per game.
Ls use averaging 380 yards a game that rank six in the conference and 41st in the FBS.
Also running the football Um, l s U.
So they're gonna have to get better running the football.
Um, this week versus the, um, Vanderbilt Commodores.
So that was they also ranked 67 the FBS now in once again, passing yards for a game.
L s u ranked fourth.
So that's a pretty good number right there.
So the ranking stop five when it comes toe passing the football Levitt in the FBS in the conference on the national standings with 300 yards a game. Also.
Now, the defensively they gave up over 500 yards and last week's game against Mississippi State, that was just a a starch, um, situation with them, uh, they rent 13th in the conference, so that's next the last.
So the defense is worse.
Um, in that, um, category right there.
So they next the last around 69.
Also running the football.
Um um uh, they are giving up nine yards a game.
The first of the sec.
I like what I'm seeing out of that, uh, for the L S u Tigers.
Also at the one game.
Now the passing on y'all.
It was 585 so they gave up 5.
85 in the game, but they gave up over 600 yards last week, but It was 14 from the SEC, 73rd in the F B s.
That's 5 85 now in points per game.
Ls you Gives up 44 point so that it's after one game.
Um, once again 13th in the SEC and 68 in the F.
So once again, Miles Brennan is your quarterback leader with 345 yards.
That was last week's game.
Um, l s U on third downs.
Once again, they're five or 17 for 29%.
You cannot be 29%.
Inspector win a football game.
That's just not gonna happen.
Can't go five for 17 in games.
You got to be a little bit more consistent when it comes to those situations.
Because if you don't, then it's gonna turn into, um But L s U defense gave up 50%.
That's something you cannot do.
And on those games, that's just something you cannot do now running the now running now The touchdowns.
They had four touchdowns last week.
They gave up five vs Mississippi State.
So that was in the game last, um, Saturday.
So I'll be honest with you.
Look, this is gonna be a long, very long ls you treacherous season.
But the truth of the matter is, if we can get through these, um, last next couple of months without any, um out flaws is, and stuff like that will be okay.
But if we, um, continue to arm go down this road of giving up points and just giving up yardage and giving up this and that, well, we're not gonna win that many games.
That's just my opinion.
So, um, so that's just my breakdown on it.
So let's give you Ah, game.
Let's give you, um, let's give you, um, a point spread breakdown on it.
Let's give you points for breakdown.
Um, pentacle has to the 20 points.
So it's 20 points.
Um uh, in the game.
So it's, um, they opened a 20 so the pinnacle will have it at 20.
5 versus um, that came out at 4 32.
Now let's go to the next ones.
Let's go, Thio data.
But Data has a 20 a swell.
So it's 20 for the LSE Vanderbilt Gay.
So it's a 20 point, um, differential in that game, now Bookmaker has it at once again.
Just about 3. 35.
It went down from 19.
And it said, um, there was 7.
25 in the central.
Um, let's go, Thio.
Um, that online, Better online once again.
Eyes that 20 20 at 3. 44.
44 this morning.
So it came out 9.
5 on at 509 on the 27.
That was on Sunday.
Also Sunday at 3.
51 it was 20 points coming out for the L S U and Vanderbilt game.
Now Heritage was giving the their breakdown.
Okay, Howard age has said that once again, um, 20.
5 came out of 3.
13 today and also back to 20.
So it was 20 and 20 and now up to 20.
Let's give you that number, it Z, it's going to be 20 so it's gonna be 20 and then the That's the line history.
So it's 20 and let's go Thio going.
Go to more of them.
We'll give you more information.
Okay? This is from, um, Wager Web page.
The web has a 20 a half was at three.
13 Eastern Time to 13th Central.
Also, let's go to sports some betting once again.
So it's 20 on down the line, 20 down the line.
So once again, they're going to stay at 20.
Um, my bookie has it at 20 in the game, so my bucky as well has it at 20.
Um, see that 365 has to that 20.5.
That's probably gonna slightly now, the point spread in the game.
One of them headed that it went from 18 2, 19 to 20.5.
So it went from 18.
So that was from 2.
26 on Sunday, Thio 3 15 here on on Monday.
So that was sports that Now the next one we're gonna go through is bet.
Christ, Uh, they're going there right now.
There was at 19 on the 27th, and it's still that once again, they stood at 20.
It went down a little bit, um, around 30 35.
25 its central it was went down to 20.
So it's up to 20 now.
The next one we're gonna go through is bet Phoenix.
That Phoenix, that's another on site.
We're going through 20.
It's 20 down the line.
So 20 down the line.
And SPR, which is this site right here.
We're on its 20 eso 20 on going in.
So once again, that a 29 this morning it went to 20.
Um, let's go to another one. Bet.
Um, Regal has a 20 a half. That was at 5.
28 just about three hours.
So I just went to 20.
5 in the in the point.
Now let's go to another point spread area.
Bookmaker, Let's go to those young individuals.
Go to that point.
Um 19 yesterday, 20 today.
So just went up to 20 back on line.
Has it once again 20 again.
Um, so everything is going to stay at 20.
Um, so it's gonna probably stay at 20.
Um, we have more movements this week.
We'll let you know.
Also in, in, in the top has to that 20.5.
So 20.5 now. 20.
Um, just about maybe I se seven close to seven hours ago About 12.
13 The afternoon went to 20 also just back ahead of that 19.
Yeah, yesterday went back up to 20 at 8.
37 Central and let's go, Thio bat mania 20.
So it's now up up to 2020 point underdog.
That will be a 20.
Jazz has said that, um 20.
So we're going through the blinds right now.
Also, five dimes has to that 20.5.
So it's at 3. 15.
So 3 15 the bottoms.
Also, bulldog has that 20.
That was at 3. 15 this afternoon.
Um, s still a 20 a half Also, um, let's see.
5 for a sports in a action.
Eso They're going to stay at 20.5.
Also, sky by book has that 20.
And let's see what else? Matchbook doesn't have anything.
And cloud bet absolutely doesn't have nothing.
So once again, I'm gonna say this.
I'm gonna say, Look, if I'm If l s u I think that I think they can win by 20.
5, I think the most likely can, um, when by 20.
So make the mistake about it.
They're going, They're gonna have to play better this week in these games because if you don't play better, guess what? It's gonna be the same thing that happened in the Mississippi State game.
Just absolutely getting, um, point.
Some ramped up their throat.
So that's what we have to do is not give up those points.
We have tow arm, just prevent them from getting on.
Because last time we played Vandy, it was a shootout, and it was a It was just a mess.
It was just a complete mess.
So hopefully this some miles from them will calm down and try to get those, um consistent throws in and try to not just some be the hero and stuff like that.
So once again, thank you for joining us for L s u preview.
Once again, we couldn't get the culture show going.
We'll have it next week.
We'll be on the radio with WWL.
So once again, everybody have a good rest year.
Monday after evening, we'll be back again tomorrow on stream yard for a sports talk.
So once again, everybody have a good rest of year Monday and we'll see you again tomorrow on stream yard.
