going on with it. Laugh because it always works. Fine.

Um, so moving on now into news? Of course, this is a football stream and it's mostly gonna be football related, but a couple of big stories that we're gonna have to talk about right off the bat, starting with Doc Rivers.
Let's start there.
Doc Rivers ousted as the head coach of the Los Angeles Clippers, I guess straight up does this guy does this surprise you guys at all? Because, honestly, it kind of did for me.
Um, just because this is the first year of that roster.
I mean, you're not gonna give a legendary coach a guy like Doc Rivers more than one season with Paul George and Kawhi Leonard.
They never made the Eastern Conference finals or they lost to a team like Denver at that point.
But, I mean, he's so many different iterations of this Clippers roster Already, he's had, like, almost inconsistency over the course of his Clippers tenure.
And now finally, you piece together arguably the most talented roster he's had the whole time, and he only gets one year.
Uh, but what is your guys take on Doc Rivers no longer being the coach of the Clippers? Well, I think you know, it was such an underachieving year for them.
I think when you look at what they put together and then to get bounced in the conference semifinals and also the way they did, you know, getting up 31 and then just blowing the Siri's lead, there was clear lack of chemistry.
There might even might even have been locker room tension that we didn't necessarily hear about all the way.
Uh, you know, I think for me the key to that serious which Paul George is so disappointing on, then also in the last game.
Kawhi Leonard didn't really show up, either.
Eso I think for me when you look at what the Clippers have assembled here, they wanna win.
Now that and there's championships are the expectation when you have a roster like this, so I can't say I'm shocked.
Uh, it is surprising, e guess I'll put it that way.
But that's that's the life of a coach in professional sports.
I hate to say it.
So I'm curious to see what Doc Rivers has in store next.
It almost to me.
I mean, everything I saw it didn't it wasn't a firing.
It was almost like he's.
His time was done.
Almost felt like more of a mutual parting of ways.
So I wonder if he has something else lined up to.
He's too good a coach, not Thio Land.
Another job they're in the Rivers will be fine, and I'm also curious to see what the Clippers bring it next.
A and I've never really been a Lakers fan, so I've never really had allegiance to first fan.
So like the team that I followed most closely and I've always liked Doc Rivers like I think he's the type of coach like a good guy, and the players always really like him.
And based on I don't know, last year the Clippers look like they really had a strong identity and they sort of just clicked and really knew what they were doing.
Andi this year with quien Paul George, it seems like they never really got going like they never really felt comfortable versus last year that it seemed like they were just very cohesive.
And when the trade happened, I really wanted like I was kind of disappointed that Paul George was included.
Like I thought I would just wanted to take high and added exactly to what they had last year.
And to me, it almost felt like Paul Georgia being there almost ruined that.
But that also might be unfair to say for a player who is a good as he is, Um, I'm excited to see what they do next with it.
But again, as the as the Clippers franchise, it's easier to fire the coach who's been around for a while than it is to move on from the player who you just, you know, gave up a bunch to go get and orchestrated all this deal had so much hope for.
I guess it's easier to move on from Doc Rivers kind of save face a little bit, although I think a lot of people are blaming Paul George, You mentioned as well.
Hank just didn't didn't really do too much during the regular season.
Like you said, Tanner never really got going all that much.
Weren't all that cohesively working all that cohesively? Well, which, But again, that brings me back to the point of it.
It was the first season, and even though you have a couple superstars together amongst the talented roster, it's not always gonna work in the first season.
It's not an example in exact, uh, good example or an exact same situation.
But look at the heat the first year when LeBron, you know, stacked up all those guys.
And then they lost.
I believe, what, 41 in the finals like, what if they moved on from Erik Spoelstra then? And you know, because that didn't work in the first year of this new superstar team.
Like, I just think one year is a little bit too short.
Although Like I said, off the top, Doc Rivers has had the opportunity.
Andi has been afforded many different talented rosters.
He's been, you know, afforded many different superstars with between Chris Paul off the names.
So he's had a talent to work with, and he just has not been able to get it done in L.
So I guess, Steve Bomber and the rest of you know, whoever is in charge there, whoever's making decisions thought it was time to move on from Doc Rivers.
But you're exactly right, Henry, like you see guys like Billy Donovan, Tyronn Lue.
It's probably gonna get rehired like these guys.
These guys have jobs.
Doc Rivers is definitely going to have another job.
So I'm not sure what his contract situation was if it was coming up or or what the case was.
But, yeah, he might have been putting out other feelers.
Or he might just have confidence in himself.
And he knows he's going to get another job eventually.
So he's not, you know, not too upset about walking away from the Clippers.
I don't really know, but again I was I was surprised he only got one year.
I thought they might run it back again.
But then, you know, you're you only got a couple years of controlling Paul. George.
I'm not sure how long Kawhi Leonard to sign there for So you don't wanna waste any time.
So I guess I understand that aspect as well.
But they decided to move on from them. Ultimately.
Um, do you guys think Doc Rivers would have still had a job if they had beaten Denver and lost to the Lakers? Even in five games or so, Do you think it was just because of the team that they lost to? Or do you think it was finals or bust for Doc Rivers this year? Mhm.
That's a good question.
Actually, uh, I think he would have kept his job had had they won that Siri's and lost to the Lakers.
I mean, I feel like it's really hard to justify firing somebody that makes the conference finals versus the round before the conference finals.
I don't know if that's necessarily right, but yeah, I think that would have made the difference.
Actually, yeah, 100% agree.
All year we all we heard was L.
The battle of L.
A in the conference finals to go to the NBA Finals.
In these two just incredibly talented and deep teams to, you know, the Lakers.
The question coming into the year was depth, and they have really answered the bell here.
I've been really impressed in these playoffs with contributions and guys like Rondo and Dwight Howard, but back to the Clippers, I think they got by Denver.
It's hard to justify firing the guy when you're losing to, you know, it's a one A and one situation, I guess at West I did that backwards.
It should be one in one.
But But yeah, like just the collapse and the way they lost for the Nuggets going up 31 that that was draw that broke the camel's back.
I think for May.
So yeah, like I said, it will be interesting to see what comes of both sides, Rivers and the Clippers.
What both sides do going forward.
I think you brought up 31 there.
I think that has to play a huge part of it as well, right? If they would have started off the Siri's, maybe trading blows or Denver had looked really good from the start vacation, but you blow a 31 lead.
Um, it's also a little bit easier to take solace and losing to Anne Davis and LeBron James instead of Jamal, Murray and Djokovic.
Right? Like you, just it just the namesake in the name value.
It's like, Well, you can understand losing those two guys, LeBron making his 10 finals all that.
But you're going up against Denver.
You have no excuses on Bond and nothing to fall back on.
So anyway, Doc Rivers out as the Clippers head coach, I'm sure he'll land on his feet, find another job.
Might not even take a couple years off.
I mean, Doc Rivers has been grinding for, what, 20 plus years now? Um, he deserves a little time off.
I'm interested to see where he's going to end up next, Uh, the other non football story that we just want to touch on quickly Tonight.
It is the Stanley Cup finals, Game six.
The Lightning had an opportunity.
Thio put the Dallas Stars away and hoist the cup in have gone to overtime.
I think the Lightning get it done in regulation tonight.
That's just my feeling.
I also think that goalies find show out.
I wrote an article for Big City and for Fleury Sports heading into this Stanley Cup finals about how that's less Q is gonna be a basket back to back.
There's no winner, which I think you still will.
I put a future on him to win.
The cons might, uh, thes stars goalie uh, Khudobin.
I believe that's how you pronounce that he was playing.
He was bawling out as well, playing fantastic side.
I said, You know, I think the Lightning are gonna be able to put up more goals, but this is gonna be, ah, battle between the pipes.
This is gonna be a goaltender driven Siri's.
It has been the exact opposite.
Every single are.
I think four out of the five games have hit the over 31 goals scored between these two teams in the first five games, that since that's insane, I honestly I thought it would have been somewhere around half of that with these two.
Goal is playing the way that they were.
No one expected this many goals to be scored.
I think the goal is step it up and do show out tonight I could see, like a 2 to 1 type of game, maybe 321 with an empty net goal towards the end.
I think this is one is finally gonna be the goaltending battle that we've all been waiting for.
And I think the star or the lightning Excuse me, Take care of business in regulation.
And when their second cup in, I believe franchise history.
I think the last time they won was 2000 and six with Nikola Heavy Bull in Martin ST Louis and that crew What do you guys feel about Game six of the Stanley Cup finals tonight, which should be a book book? Should be dropping about 15 minutes before Monday night football kicks off.
So this is probably gonna be want want to be Ah, night for you.
Where you got one on the laptop? One on the TV.
Both these games are gonna be ones you're not gonna wanna miss, Guys.
What do you have on the Stanley Cup finals tonight? Henry? You could start with you.
I'm all in on the stars because I want Game seven.
There's nothing better than playoff Game seven hockey man.
Come on, Dallas.
Um, it's been an entertaining syriza watch like you, Jake.
I don't think I was expecting the amount of goals that we've seen.
Uh, but at the same time, you know, neither of these goalies.
I guess, in my opinion, is one that I'm shocked is giving up goals, you know, I know you're very high on Vasilevskiy, and I'm not gonna undermine your point there.
Andi is still very well could win the Vezina once again.
But more surprising considering Tampa Bay has been without Stamkos.
But they've still been able to get it done offensively.
And, you know, I wonder, I just wonder.
I know the stars have been come back kids here almost in a lot of ways throughout the season and throughout the postseason.
Uh, just the resiliency of this Dallas Stars team is pretty incredible.
And that penalty that essentially handed Tampa Bay the wind there.
You know, overtime in Game four, the phantom tripping call on Jamie Benn.
I just wonder if that that was a key turning point.
You know, they had to grind out the game thio against Al, seeing them overcome that and then forced the game six.
You knew it was gonna be key.
Did they get your Game five? And I just wonder, you know, veteran laden team if they could ride the momentum all the way.
But for sure, it has been entertaining.
And I'm looking forward to tonight as well, To be honest with you guys, hockey is a little bit out of my jurisdiction.
Uh, I haven't watched any of the NHL playoffs at all.
But what wasn't it last year when the Lightning had, like, the best regular season record, like in NHL history, or did they just have the best its's been? That's been a very common theme of the Lightning for about the past five years.
Now they come into the season with probably the best top to bottom roster they've got.
They've had two amazing goaltenders back to back, like whenever, when they tipped off Ben Bishop a while back, which it's actually now it's come full circle because Ben Bishop was the starting goaltender of the Dallas Stars.
He lost his job Thio acute open and to injury, Uh, once the bubble came back around.
But I mean, that's been the story of the Lightning basically since 2000 and 14 or 15 just incredibly.
High scoring, great roster.
They just can't get it done in the play in the playoffs.
Actually got swept in the first round, just like three years ago. After again.
Yeah, I believe winning the president's trophy, which, for those of you who aren't big hockey fans, that is the best regular season record or the most points in the regular season.
Uh, to be precise, but yeah.
I mean, the lightning have been have been the pick of many, many experts for the past four or five years now, and they're finally in position to do it.
Um, I think they have a favorable matchup, or I thought they had a favorable matchup against the Stars, but the Stars have just been feisty.
They've been hanging around.
Um, I I don't like obviously, you know, I say, throw this game on tonight, it's gonna be entertaining.
It's really gonna bubble the whole time.
Whether you're big hockey, fan or not, these games have been excellent.
Eso I encourage you all listening and watching as well, Even if you're not a big hockey fan.
Throughout this game on tonight, I do want to make just a really quick point about Vasilevskiy again.
Well, again, the reigning Vezina Trophy winner.
This guy is a young.
I mean, he's only 26 years old from Russia.
He's already got a couple or we'll have a couple of Vezina trophies under his belt.
Going into this series, he had a 260.
931 save percentage with a 1.
83 goals against average.
I believe he was the Onley goalie and the entirety of playoffs to play every single minute for his team.
1315 minutes, and he put up that kind of stat line.
I mean, there's no argument against Kozlowski and not on that I want to hear.
Anyways, he just hasn't been at his best in this particular Siri's.
But, yeah, I guess.
Thank you for your honesty, Tanner.
But I would encourage you to, uh, throw this game on tonight, even if it's in the background.
If Chiefs ribbons is somehow not a good game, make sure this is on your TV.
How's that again? The last commercial breaks? Yeah, I mean a to be paying attention with one eyeball, because again these last two games have gone toe over time.
It's been a fun syriza, high scoring Siri's competitive one.
I think it ends in six.
I'm a big fan of game sevens as well.
NHL game sevens are the greatest thing in all of sports, but I've been riding the Lightning all playoffs long and I wanna be right, so I want it to be over in sticks.
I've also got a futures bet on them to win this Siri's 42.
So if they if they can pull it off tonight in regulation, I'll be one happy, happy man.
Anyway, that is Thebe preview for the Stanley Cup finals tonight.
It's almost 6 30 so we should start talking football now.
Um, that's kind of just breeze through this news and then we'll get to injuries and wrap up with top fantasy performers.
Actually got a quite a bit of news here, starting off with Nick Foles, now three Chicago starter.
Of course, everybody.
You know, everybody thought hey was gonna be the starter after seeing what he did on Sunday anyway.
But Matt Nagy confirmed it today.
Mitch is weak on comeback was not enough to sway Matt Nagy into giving him or Time Falls comes out leads a nice comeback of his own against a better team.
Um, Mitch likely just started his last name for the foreseeable future, right? I mean, I guess Let's let's just cover a few things here, Nick Foles Being this starter for Chicago Bears puts them in a better position, right? And as far as Mitch goes, where do we see him end up in the future? Does he Does he start a game again in the next couple of years? Barring injury, I mean quickly, quickly.
Uh, tell me what you see for Mitch in his near future, and then tell me what you see for the Chicago Bears this season with Nick Foles under center Tanner, why don't you start? So, like, there was definitely talks that, uh, at some point, but with the Bears going into this game, too, and, oh, I was like, there's no way it happens in this game.
I was like, There's like they're not gonna be able to justify that being to know.
And yet they went ahead and did it, and it looked like it was the right decision.
And now the Bears are somehow sitting at three and oh, I don't think it's.
I think it's gonna be really hard for Mitch to get some type of starting job in the near future.
I think Nick Fools, it didn't look too pretty, but ultimately came and he got the win.
And I really feel like Mitch at this point has sort of blown his chance.
And they've seen enough of this point, and I think he's going toe.
Uh, obviously would probably be a bear for the rest of the season and then going into the future, I could definitely see a team signing him that needs help with the quarterback.
Position goes from there.
But from a fantasy football perspective, I really like Nick Foles for Alan Robinson.
I mean, Alan Robinson really seemed to have a good game once Nick Foles came in, and I think it's a general upgrade for the Bears pass catchers.
How do you guys feel about it? Well, and I'll throw this out quickly to you as well.
To answer Henry, I was gonna ask straight up.
Are we rushed? Bring up eso if you wanna touch on that, as well as Tanner's question I think the pickup depends on how deep your league is.
You know, whether you're playing into quarterback Super Flex, how many teams in the league etcetera, etcetera.
There's a lot of factors there.
Uh, I know in just about every league I'm looking at in S o you know, 12 team, I have a super flex.
I have a 16 team thes air, all places where Nick Foles needs to be rostered.
Um, to me, he's got the talent, I think the weapons and the offensive system to be a top 20 fantasy quarterback this season.
I wanted him to have the job out of camp.
I don't understand why True Biscuit got it.
Other than the Bears, they're just trying to save face at that point for spending such a high draft pick on Mitchell Robiskie.
And, oh, by the way, trading up to get that draft pick.
When I think last year approved to everyone, but he didn't warrant such draft capital.
I don't even know where to begin prognosticating the future.
There s I'm going to kind of lean away from that.
I do want to bring up another Bears headline no tener touched on how fools will definitely benefit value of Alan Robinson with some or consistency.
Even though he's a stud start pretty much every single week that will get boost in fantasy value.
They're going forward.
Uh, Anthony Miller, too.
That's another guy that I'm looking at is getting a bump, and we'll see.
I'm not sure if I'm fully in on the Darnell movie hype after this early part of this season, but we can see going forward and all these guys, they're also gonna get potentially a slight raising value because Tariq Cohen, now out for the year suffering a torn A C L yesterday, uh, the injuries continue to mount, as I'm sure we'll continue to discuss throughout the show across the NFL yesterday.
But, uh, that that is a guy who I would have been excited to see in an offense quarterback Nick Foles and schemed by Matt Nagy.
Unfortunately, a sideline for the year.
Cohen, that versatile back that do everything back always finds himself have blown up the stat sheet.
It seems, um, definitely a big a big hit for them and another A C L on the pile for the NFL as a whole.
Just one last thing on Travis Key Before we move on, I don't think without leaps and bounds, and I guess a couple years worth of progress.
I don't think he's going to be a starter again in the NFL.
I think the Chicago Bears were his one and only shot.
I do, however, think he's going to end up as a backup.
I mean, he's not.
He's not bad enough to just not let be in the league anymore, right? I mean, he's going, he's gonna have a backup position and somebody's gonna be ableto sign him for, ah, fair amount of a decent amount of money, a fair contract as far as the team standpoint off the top of your head.
Just real quick.
A za backup role as a starter, no matter what you think his future is, what Jersey is is, uh, what Jersey has missed Robiskie wearing next year right off the top of your head.
I actually I like that.
Mitch probably doesn't want it, but, hey, if that's his only offer, you know what do you think, Henry first one that came to mind for me is the Broncos.
We don't know Drew lot going forward.
I don't know the contract details of Driscoll.
And I know they just signed Borders here this past week with the injuries.
But quarterback spend a revolving door last several years with Elway and the Broncos there.
So as a backup, that might be a landing spot.
Or potentially in a situation where he could even compete for the starting job.
Depending on what we see that I drew lock once he gets back this year, the first thing that came to my mind, um, for a split second on Lee was the Raiders.
And then I thought back, and I was like, No, Gruden hates Mitchell True whiskey, and he would not be not flourish And that offense.
So I definitely don't think it's the Raiders.
Um, I Honestly, I think it's a team who may fall off at a later point of this season, have a question mark at quarterback and just, you know, take a fire, have a decent guy as a backup, maybe sort of a bridge guy.
I'm gonna cheat and say? I asked the question so I don't have to answer it.
So we will see where Mr Whiskey ends up next season.
Uh, moving on now.
Thio Another backup quarterback, Jeff Driskel, may or may not start for the Broncos as they are debating playing Brett Rypien.
I believe that's how you say his last name is Undrafted rookie out of Boise State.
A lot of people are pushing for him over Jeff Driskel, but Broncos don't know what they're gonna do yet.
The word on the street is that Blake Bortles needs at least one more week to get ready Broncos Air just in rough shape right now, man.
And they're able Thio Roster four quarterbacks, obviously, because of all the other injuries that they have suffered Do you think it matters much who starts under center this week? Do you? Do you guys have any sort of scouting report or do you like Driscoll or Rypien more? Um, than the other.
I kind of just roll the dice with a young guy, right? You know what you're gonna get in Jeff Driskel.
Uh, you know, it's gonna be a struggle on a pro battle anyways.
Why not roll the dice with the young man out of Boise State.
What do you think? Well, from a fantasy perspective, I either way like, I don't personally care which ones coming out.
But I do think it would be exciting through the younger guy out there.
Uh, Jeff Driskel was kind of able to support Golladay last year, but all day is also an absolute beast and Alfa wide receiver.
Um, I mean, it would be exciting to see younger guy come out.
And what did you say? Was the timetable on Drew lock? I believe Drew Lock is looking at upwards of six weeks a za long as everything go. It was correct.
He had a C sprain.
Um, a si joint sprain.
I believe this is, uh, if I'm recalling correctly, but without rushing him back, I think they're looking at, like, a six week timeframe, including last week.
So we're looking at 4 to 5 more weeks yet, Okay.
And, uh, like the Broncos were a team that a lot of people sort of had as a super, uh, as like a sleeper playoff, uh, team.
And it's kind of sad to see just the start of the season, and those hopes kind of just get derailed so early on.
Yeah, injuries just continue to pile up for that team.
Obviously a ton of adversity coming to Denver.
But, um, I think it's a roster who can kind of maybe, uh, slink their way through this season, kind of take their bumps, take their bruises and come back even better next year.
You got the young gun slinger quarterback you got, Jerry Judy, who looks like he belongs, still put up over 10 fantasy points despite everything last week.
Obviously, Courtland Sutton is really good.
You've got your dual running backs once you get both of them healthier once Phillip Lindsay comes back.
So I think this it might not be their year this year, and it sucks that it's gone the way that it has.
But you get Von Miller back, maybe improve on the defense through the draft.
I think the Broncos were set up pretty good for the upcoming years.
Yeah, this year is a total wash for Denver.
On top of the quarterback situation, they lost Darrelle Casey to the for the season last year to its own biceps.
Um, yesterday to best defensive players, along with their most talented receiver in Courtland Sutton and the quarterbacks out for who knows five more weeks.
Uh, season's over for the Broncos, especially.
That division is Thursday, though.
I mean, this is anybody's game. Broncos Jets.
Uh, it's gonna be an ugly one on it just might be a fun one just because of everything that's going on.
I'd be curious to see if ripping does get to start.
Um, he was, obviously was competent at Boise State, knowing the established college football powerhouse they have, they're out in the Mountain West Conference.
Um, so you know, I mean, why not Vic Fangio and coaching staff aren't willing toe role.
Driscoll back out there? Uh, it might be time to see what happens.
God. So we'll see.
And it's not like he was just a bum at Boise State or anything.
Obviously, Boise State has, ah, good history as a program.
He also won a bunch of ah bunch of awards between 2015 and 2018.
3 time first team, all conference freshman of the year, offensive player of the year.
So I mean, this guy has the ability to do it he's gone out there and done it at the college level.
Maybe not the the top top echelon, but I mean, he's got a proven track record.
So I think, Why not? You know why not, especially at this point for the Broncos and just for him personally, to to get those reps to get that time.
That playing time, even if it's a wash for the team of the season, is lost for the team.
You still have a lot of young players who are going to gain valuable experience, and he could be one of them.
Uh, not much to talk about here, but the JAG signed former Bills and Seahawks kicker Steven Hauschka good for Hauschka being back on a roster.
He struggled with some Mrs last year.
We'll see what he can Dio Um, peckers are the last team that I want to talk about.
Really, I think the pack of the most impressive and the most disrespected team in the entire NFL ah, 122 points through three games, which is the most in the NFL.
They have one single three and out this season on Lee won a crossed I forget the exact number of offensive possessions, but it was a lot of them across.
Three games on Lee won three and out, and it came in garbage time against the Lions when they were already up by 21 points.
They're tearing it up on the ground, through the air.
They're doing it without Davante Adams, mostly the last couple weeks.
I mean, it's way too early to be talking M v p, which is probably Russell Wilson or Aaron Rodgers right now.
But, I mean, these are all the vibes of getting from this Packers team.
I've said it 100 times over, but Vegas had this line season total when total at 8.5.
Packers are already over a third of the way there, three games into the season.
Who else is the most impressive team in the NFL right now? If it's not the Green Bay Packers, Jake, I'm with you that the Packers seemed very disrespected, like I was on Twitter today and I saw the Packers or the fake.
It's three and no team I've ever seen.
Yeah, I saw that, too.
I mean, I don't I don't really know why.
I mean, you got the Paris in that three.
You know, if we're gonna say the fake assed three, no team like you think would be them.
But I also saw something comparing the 2018 Chiefs offense to the Packers 2018 2020 offense through the first three weeks.
And they were better in passing.
They were better and everything except for rushing yards.
I think they only had 13 and out like you said, like that's that's insane And they were underdogs to the Saints in that game, so that was one of my favorite picks of the week.
Just a team that's playing that good football like it's It's definitely disrespectful, and they look like they're arguably about the team in the league right now for another team.
That I'll throw out there, though, is the Bills look really good.
That offense is taking a step forward.
They gave up a lot to get digs and digs.
Seems like he's kind of like owning up to that to that heavy price they paid for him and Bills.
Defense is has looked a little sketch, especially after last week when they, like were up.
28 was a 28 oo, and they allowed the Rams come back like that's something to think about.
But the Bills team, like the Bills, have taken a huge step forward, I think, and I think, Ah, Sean McDermott is a great coach and they're a team that could definitely make some noise in the playoffs and make a deep run.
Yeah, I was gonna say from yesterday the teams that I would put in the line of impressive nous is that a word with the Packers would be the Bills and the Rams.
You know, the 4th 4th down penalty there at the end of that game that that could have gone either way.
I personally didn't like the flag being thrown there on the Rams on 1/4 down pass interference.
They were pretty much locked up, almost like it was run blocking play there.
Uh, but, you know, the bills get the call and they finished the game.
Uh, so there's three, you know, the Rams or two in one, and it's probably the best two and one I've seen in a while on then the Steelers.
Still, I know they haven't really dominated their games But I think this is a team that's just going to get better and better.
And then for teams that I would say arm or impressive than the Packers.
E guess I'll say the be on the lookout for the Week four NFL Power rankings article tomorrow because there's gonna be at least two and maybe three spending on tonight's result, but are still at a green.
Very in this, right? And again, you know, you could get into semantics here, but, you know, I'm not exactly talking power rankings or best team in the NFL.
I framed it as the most impressive team in the NFL, especially given the fact that they had no, no real first round draft pick.
Everybody was so down on them.
People were saying they were the third best team in their own division.
I mean, just nothing but disrespect. Nothing.
But you know, I hate being thrown at this Packers team.
Everybody said that they over achieved last year, too.
I believe that with floor and I was like 16 and three as a head coach something, something along those lines.
I mean, this is what this has been impressive.
There's no doubt about it.
They could realistically go into their bye week four.
No, I had them losing to the Saints right at the beginning of the season.
Um, but they obviously took care business there.
No Michael Thomas, No Davante Adams.
So I don't really put too much at stake at stake there.
But my only qualm with those other teams would be that the Packers haven't let anybody get close.
They've ran away with basically every game.
They didn't run away with the Saints game.
I guess it was kind of close until the end of big fumble there.
But, I mean, the Bills had the same situation with the Dolphins.
Like when you're comparing the same to the Dolphins, you know, the Bills that the Dolphins almost come back almost beat them.
And the other thing is, the Bills defense was so highly respected, so highly touted, and they have not really lived up to it because I think the Packers on the other side, people were down on their offense and their offense has been exploding.
Defense has not been that bad, hasn't been great on the on the run game, but I just think the Packers everything's been going so well for them on they've been doing it mostly.
Like I said, without Davante Adams, Um, this Packers team, I wish they would have taken somebody to help them out Early on, I say that almost every early on in the draft say that almost every stream, But even without the help of the first round pick, these Packers are dominating.
I think it's Russell Wilson and Aaron Rodgers right now in the M V P race again.
Three weeks in way too early.
But I can't say enough about this Packers team.
Love him, love him.
Um, the make more fair for the rest of the league by not taking anybody to add to this.
There you go to the Oh, there you go.
I like that spin zone.
They knew they were gonna be so good that they're like, You know what? We're going to give you guys a break here.
We're gonna **** off our quarterback, **** off her fan base and make it easier for all of you.
Just just because we're good people, you know us, Wisconsinites, we want to make it easier for you.
Um, last point on the Packers, though, too, is When is Vegas wins? Vegas Gonna wise up.
When are they gonna stop giving us free money? I mean, Packers underdogs to out of their first three games plus 1 25 Moneyline underdogs plus 1 55 Moneyline.
Underdogs is what I had them, uh, to the Saints last night.
They cash both both games, pretty much without a sweat.
I was never worried last night during that Saints game.
Never, like, very concerned.
At least, um, I think the only two possibilities down the line that the Packers could even be considered underdogs might be against the Buccaneers and or the San Francisco 40 Niners again.
Don't know what the 40 Niners health situation is gonna be.
Don't, um, know how they're going to compare the bucks and the Packers.
But, I mean, Vegas, better Vegas better start to wise up, or they're gonna lose a lot of money on the Packers throughout the remainder of this season.
But hopefully for all of you, just like me.
I wrote the packers the first three weeks.
I got great value out of them.
Hopefully you did too, because I don't think this team is going to end up his underdogs more than maybe one other time this season.
Now let's talk a little bit about injuries.
Henry kind of touched on some of the bigger ones, Um, early on in the stream here.
Fortunately, not as many injuries as we saw through the first two weeks, but still some significant.
Some big names, some significant injuries.
The Seahawks lost Jamal Adams for the rest of that game with a groin strain.
I'm sure he'll be fine, but growing.
They're always lay a nagging injury.
Chris did, uh, just not cool there.
Obviously, Chris Carson is big, big impact on the field, but a huge impact in a fantasy world as well.
He's out for an undisclosed amount of time right now.
But a sprained knee, uh, usually gonna keep you out for a least a few weeks.
Dallas Goddard went down with an who are the other big names to your Taylor.
Lewan went out, did not leave the game.
John Brown left the game early on, which, uh, really stuck for me because everybody knows if you've been watching how big I am I? John Brown? I've got him in almost every single league started them last week.
He got me 0.0 point.
Chris Godwin suffered a hamstring injury and e thought there was one more big name eyes Brian Concussion Deonte Johnson.
Thank you for the Carolina Panthers.
And then I also wanted to throw out there.
Um, Christian Kirksey shoulder left Sunday night's game just because he was a Packer.
And I remember that injury happening so again, a couple more big games.
And then, of course, to re Cohen, as Henry mentioned earlier.
So a few more big names not going to be or likely won't be on the field in Week three.
We'll probably have updates on these guys and others Thursday during our injury show, but I guess quickly.
What do you take out of any of these injuries? Touch on the Chris Carson injury a little bit if you want to.
As I believe, that's probably the most significant Dallas Goddard being out, though eyes gonna hurt the Eagles as well.
God has been good for them through the first couple weeks.
Yeah, the Eagle situation in terms of pass catchers, is now just a complete mess.
Uh, Sean Jackson.
I believe he had something of his own here.
If I saw that correctly, Yes, we had a little hamstring injury, but they're saying it's not too serious.
Um, but still, all these eagles receivers just continue to be banged up.
Daughter is definitely gonna miss time.
That was the word from Doug Peterson yesterday.
So, Greg Ward, I think he needs to be rostered unless you're in a very shallow league.
He did have a fine fantasy day yesterday.
Um, so we'll be looking for him on waivers this week, especially if you have a need at the receiver position.
But it's just another tight end going down.
And it's just gonna make things more difficult here on Carson Wentz going forward.
Uh, Philadelphia is not in good shape right now on the offensive side of the football.
And then the one other injury that I'm not sure if you mentioned it, I might have missed it.
Um, that was Chase Young with the Redskins.
He left the game and did not return.
Hey, had a groin injury.
So that's significant for Washington.
The defense is Is that football team really they're tasked with keeping them in games.
Here is the offense continues to sputter under Dwayne Haskins, which Ron Rivera did actually come out and say after yesterday's Lost that there is a timetable on when he basically gets fed up with Haskins and moves it forward at quarterback, whether it's Kyle and or Alex Smith.
So that will definitely be something to watch going forward.
Alex Smith has been an active here in the first three weeks, but you know, once he gets into full contact practices, he continues to progress in his return from a near life threatening injury with the infection and everything that stemmed from that.
But the football team's gonna need Chase Young defensively going forward, or that unit is going Thio.
I mean, I know they have plenty of other talented players, especially on the line, but it, uh, losing the number two overall pick if he's gonna be out for any length of time, that's gonna hurt for sure, and I believe that I misspoke earlier.
Of course, it's Deontay Johnson out for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
It's Dante Jackson who is out for the Carolina.
I don't know how I forgot about that, and then I also just dug up Denzel Award and Derek Lots, both names that exited their respective games early this past weekend as well.
Or what do you make out of all these injuries? I want to know what they're putting in the water in Philadelphia, because this exact same thing happened last year.
And now all the Philadelphia Pass catchers are going down again.
It's it's crazy, but with the Ghadir ankle injury, er, it's finally came through with somewhat of a decent fantasy day.
Seven catches for 70 yards.
And I mean, he has to be a pretty decent fantasy play going forward with no got her in the lineup and just how decimated the rest of the Eagles pass catchers are.
And Greg Word is looking at a very similar situation to what we saw last year for him like he's the guy in town.
For me, the most concerning injury is the Chris Godwin injury.
Uh, he had the hamstring that kept him out for a couple of weeks last season, and now he has a hamstring injury again.
So that's the one that I'm paying most attention to, to see if he's practicing and how that's looking.
I mean, that definitely hurts a lot of people.
I have Chris Godwin and a couple of leagues, and Deontay Johnson really hurt people this week.
Hey, went out early in that game.
He didn't have any catches and he was somebody that I was really looking forward to playing this week.
So that was a bit of a killer and then the Chris Carson injury.
I mean, we talked about the rules like a Gator role.
I think that guy's I think he's being fine.
But I don't think he's, uh, serving a suspension.
The guy that hurt Chris Carson, eso that's that's another one that I'm gonna really be paying attention to.
But that one's looking like it's gonna be pretty mild, and he might even be able to play this week.
Hopefully, I mean, Chris Carson's one of those guys.
He's one of the top backs right now.
He's fun guy to watch and he's on.
You know he's rostered in 99.
9% of leagues and a lot of people depend on him, especially running backs.
I'm sure a lot of people took him his RB one.
Maybe if you're lucky you got him on his RB two and he's He's a big name to not have playing every single week and again, Yeah, there's just no reason for that kind of play.
Obviously, it's a dirty play.
Um, I think it's kind of it's harder to suspend a guy for a play like that, though, because it is in the middle of a tackle.
And it's not like an outward act.
What, like when Sue stomped on somebody, or when you actually see somebody you know go out of their way to go after somebody, um, he could claim that it was just a continuation of tackle or whatever, even though we all know it was dirty.
We all know it was intentional, but it was still in the act of tackling.
So fine for sure.
But I don't really see how or if they are going to suspend him.
But I'm glad Chris Carson is going to be okay.
Even if he does miss a week or whatever, that could be catastrophic.
I mean, you take a guy too far, if somebody else is laying on his on his back, and then you roll up his legs like that you completely tear his knee.
I mean, that could be just absolutely catastrophic.
And as a football player, I don't know why you're out there trying to do that to another guy.
Yeah, I just saw one other injury here.
This has actually happened.
Reported while we have been on the air Uh, Jordan Reed.
Kyle Shanahan is saying that it's a knee injury with him on.
He's going to be out at least 6 to 8 weeks.
So hopefully San Francisco is gonna have George Kittle coming back.
Because that offense and that receiver room, even though these kinds of tight ends, they're two of the top five pass catchers in that offense.
Uh, it just continues to be decimated.
So hopefully San Fran will have Kittel and Garoppolo back here this week.
Bad luck for Jordan.
Reed fights his way back, has a big week two, and then now he's out 6 to 8 weeks.
And when he comes back, probably gonna have an insignificant role behind George Kittel and whatever else the 40 Niners are able to figure out over these upcoming weeks eso Best of luck to a Jordan Reed with his recovery there and finding a way to get back into this offense because, man, that's that's unfortunate.
Also, Zach, in the chat, said The chief starting guard is out tonight.
He may have appendicitis, so that's an interesting, uh, interesting little tidbit there as far as the Chiefs and Ravens game goes tonight, which we'll talk about right at the end.
Wanna talk a little bit about Topper fantasy performers? UH, this week, and then we will wrap up again.
I wanna get off the air and about 15 20 minutes at the most here so everybody can run to their TVs and watch Monday Night Football.
And don't forget about Stanley Cup game Game six Stanley Cup finals That starts in seven minutes.
That's, UM, anyway, Colts defense versus the Jets heading into Sunday Night Football.
They were the ninth leading scorer in all of Week three.
Um, that may have changed depending on your league, and you're scoring with Tamara and Lazard and Rogers.
But either way, any time the defense is anywhere near or even sniffing a top 10 fantasy performance, you know that they had a heck of a day and that the offense they played against struggled and struggled mightily.
The Colts defense allowed only seven points, had two pick sixes and three total interceptions.
As they like to say on ESPN, Twitter, have a day Cults Defense, Um, without diving too much into the weeds.
Too Much of you know Jets, Jets suck.
Um, let's focus in on the Colts defense a little bit.
Was this more of a Colts defensive domination performance? Or was it just that the Jets are decimated on offense? They got nobody to throw the ball to, nobody to run the ball, and the Colts happened to be at the right place right time and made all these things happen.
Um, which one do you think it was? More The Jets stuck, or the Colts defense is actually really good.
Henry, why don't we start with you? The Jets suck.
It's all I got to play on that.
I'm not rushing out to pick up the cold defense off this performance.
Yeah, I've really been down on the gets, like, all off season, so I don't wanna be that guy, but I'm kind of happy to see how much they're struggling.
Not a big Adam gays fan.
not a big, I think defensive coordinator Gregg Williams, Uh, because of, like, Bounty Gate and everything.
But with that said, I do think this cold Stevens is actually very, very good.
I mean, they also shut down the Vikings.
Now you're seeing just top performances for, like, 23 weeks from them, and they they're looking really good.
So I like, I think that there one of the thoughts and defense is in the league.
But you should probably be streaming.
Your defense is against the Jets every week, if possible.
You talked about how they play the Broncos on Thursday Night Football, and this, like I do like the Broncos defense.
But it's a short week traveling to New York, so maybe there's a little bit of problem there.
But I had still really like the plan.
I don't know how you can against the Jets and something I was looking later into.
Uh, like I was looking the Jets scheduled throughout the season.
They get the Dolphins and back to back weeks, Uh, like the Dolphins.
Sorry, the dolphins get them back to back weeks.
They like dolphins play.
Then they have a by then then get the Jets again so that I would just be looking out for that when that comes.
That's like in the middle of the season, you get to start your defense, get against the Jets two weeks in a row if you pick up the Dolphins And the Dolphins defense looked pretty all right against the Jags.
I thought, I mean, the Jags have been putting up points, and they really struggled against the Dolphins and the Dolphins had so Maney draft picks this year.
And they have a, like a lot of defensive talent on that side of the football.
And I think their defense that could be getting better as the season progresses with all those new and young guys and as they get comfortable and sort of gel together.
But ultimately start your defense is against the Jets.
Yeah, honestly, if you can pick up whatever defense is playing against the Jets or the Washington football team at this point until they get their offense figured out, I mean, those are the two best plays of the week every single week.
I also think that you should keep an eye out for, uh, to, uh, to be starting and that back to back jet situation, especially with his bad as the Jets have been.
I mean, I think it's the perfect opportunity to roll your young quarterback out there.
He gets an easy opponent against the Jets in week one.
Then he gets a bye week to evaluate exactly what he did, exactly how the Jets played against him.
And then he gets to go play that exact same defense the week after a bye week.
I mean, this almost never happens in football, especially in this situation with a rookie quarterback.
I mean, what more of a perfect situation can you ask for than play, play a team, get a whole week off to evaluate how you play against that team and then play that the same exact team again? Oh, and the team is really, really bad.
I think it's a perfect opportunity for the Jet for the Dolphins.
Excuse me to roll to out there against the Jets, and it's not necessarily the easiest back in the schedule, but I think you'd be good to evaluate where two was that after you play the Jets twice, you get Cincinnati Kansas City in New England, Vegas and Buffalo.
So some hard teams thio finish up the back end of the schedule day.
But again, if two it looks good on back to back weeks against the Jets, he's your guy moving forward, right? And the Dolphins are probably not gonna be competing for a playoff spot either way.
So watch for two of their between our starting week 10.
At least that's I mean, it makes sense.
I think it depends on how the former going in.
You know, it's Patrick's winning.
They're not gonna want to just start to, uh, I don't think, regardless of the match up in the situation I love.
I love your line of thinking there.
I think that's in a lot of ways. Brilliant.
Uh, he would be running into a gauntlet down the stretch there with some of those teams you've listed off to close the season keeping their heads above water here, and we got to remember, I keep getting confused.
Um, just by the seventh playoff team, like my head, is just not used to there being an extra playoff team coming from either side.
Do I think Miami is going to make the playoffs? No, but, you know, if they looked like they did here this past week, which I know it was against Jacksonville.
Uh, Jacksonville was the favorite, the betting favorite in that game.
We've got to remember that.
So, uh, I don't I don't want to rush to say, uh, we'll see two at that exact moment.
I don't want to rush to say we'll see to, uh, at all this year just knowing what he's going through with injuries and such.
It's going to depend on where the teams that how Fitzpatrick is playing, I think there's more going on there than just just one.
Ah, stretch our three weeks stretch there in the schedule where it would be ideal with That said, It is a fun theory, though, because that is a great spot.
I mean, like I said, it's a spot to see what you got.
If he does not look good, if he doesn't look prepared in those two weeks, you put Fitzpatrick back out there, and that's that.
You know, it doesn't have to be if we start him in Week 10.
He starts the rest of the season, but I think it's a perfect opportunity to see what you have into and probably, you know, like I said, you never know.
Quarterback ever gets that luxury to play a team, take a week off, evaluate that team and his performance and then play that exact same team.
But I also don't think that, um Fitzpatrick relevant, really, because I don't think that the Dolphins are going to be in a position to even make a playoff run, even with that extra spot.
I mean, they're one and two right now.
They play Seattle in San Francisco the next two weeks.
Then they go to Denver, which is obviously toss up game.
Then you're playing the Chargers, who are looking better.
The Rams and the Cardinals.
I mean each other.
There's a gauntlet on the back end of the schedule, but there's just a bigger one heading into those two weeks against the Jets.
I don't think that Dolphins are gonna be in any sort of playoff push type position, so I don't know, keep an eye out for two.
Uh, maybe it happens.
Maybe it doesn't.
But if it's I mean, if they're gonna put him in, I guess that's my whole point.
If he's gonna play it all this season, it's got a the two games with the Jets and put him in against Kansas City or New England or whatever, and you're I don't know.
If anything, I could.
I would say if he doesn't play Week 10 and he doesn't play before Week 10 then we're probably not going to see him at all this season.
That would be my feeling, that schedule.
You just said It's kind of brutal.
Oh, they have the Dolphins have a talk off.
I mean, Seahawks, Niners, Chargers, Rams, Cardinals, Bengals Who could be formidable by the 13th wink week.
Kansas City Chiefs, New England and Buffalo? I mean that that is that stuff.
That is really tough.
Um, so I guess we'll see how how things continue to roll forward for the Dolphins.
What do you got, Henry? I was just gonna say that was one of my points about the F C East all season of all preseason coming into the year, just the gauntlet schedule.
I mean, Denver is not looking great here now, and we don't really know about the Chargers.
Definitely an uninspiring loss yesterday for them against Carolina, but the playing through the A, f C and N F C West in the same season.
Ah, that's help, especially the NFC West.
That division is really good, Um, but also for Buffalo, New England and the Jets.
It's not an easy road.
Eso, I think, really, for those teams, they're looking at trying toe win games against one another in the division.
Uh, the mainland and the Bills.
Those two matchups, those Those could be a couple of games of the year with how things are trending right now.
Speaking of New England, Rex Burkhead did a classic New England running back move, does pretty much nothing the first two weeks and then goes off for 34.
This last week, kind of out of nowhere.
Uh, the Patriots running backs continued to be the most frustrating group of players to try and navigate your fantasy fantasy season through.
Is Rex Burkhead kind of like the Colts defense here, where yeah, it was a great performance.
Great Week three.
But not running out to pick this guy up.
I think he might be worth in that game.
The rookie running back his name, but he looked really fast and explosive.
What? I think New England's game plan for that game was like the passing game didn't really seem like it was working out.
Cam Newton had the best game.
They were like, All right, we're just gonna run the ball day and that's exactly what they did.
And I don't like the game plan can change on any given week with Bill Belichick, and with so many running backs there, I wouldn't say I'm rushing to pick up Burkhead.
I mean, we've seen him for a long time as a patriot, and I definitely wouldn't be like paying any major fab form.
But I mean this King, this is bound to happen on and Patriots backfield and honestly, like, I wish I could give you some solid advice.
But it's so unpredictable and so hard to say what's gonna happen on a given week like next week? Sony Michelle could go out and get 20 carries and two touchdowns, and Burkett like it, kind of just depends on the game flowing.
How it's going, Yeah, of any Patriots back.
I'd be looking to grab Michelle here if he is available in my league before Birkhead.
I think that's where the more consistent volume is gonna be going forward, um, the volume on a week to week basis, But as a bench player, or even as a flex, he's the one who I'd rather own here.
James White didn't do anything yesterday, and once he's back in the fold, you know, after the tragic loss that he suffered there a couple weeks ago, this is his first week back.
So, you know, classic Bill Belichick.
He doesn't really do much of anything on the field there.
I would look more into that situation.
But James, what's the PPR back I wanna own in New England? Birkhead is at most a bench stash in deeper leagues for me.
And even if he is a bench sash, I mean, how do you decide what weeks are? The are the weeks that you're supposed to play him? You know, unless you are inside the Patriots, uh, coaches room, You're inside Bill Belichick's head.
And you know how he's gonna go about attacking that week.
I mean, you just even if you're even if you're stashing them, how are you ever going to know when to play them.
That's the most frustrating thing for me when it comes to any of these guys, but especially Rex Burkhead, who I have had on my bench in past years, as well as a swell as James White and those other guys.
You just never know when in which.
New England running back to roll With sticking with this game, though, Darren Waller might have been the most disappointing performance of the week to catches for nine yards, especially after going off against New Orleans for 28.
5 points last week.
I 100% Well, I'll be honest with you.
I did not watch any of this game.
I didn't have access to Red Zone.
A Zai was stuck at my grandma's house, so I only got to watch the regular cable, Um, games.
Red zone wasn't available for me.
Um, so I didn't watch a lot of these games this weekend like I would have liked to.
So what was the situation with Waller? Was he just getting Was he getting the top coverage where the where the Patriots just all over him was car not looking for him? Why, why only 2.
9 points this week.
I didn't watch the game that closely to know.
I haven't gone back over it yet.
But I will say Henry rugs being out for the Raiders, you know? And then Brian Edwards.
They lost him that game.
They know who the top target in the past game is.
They're gonna take Darren Waller away on a Renfro had a decent fantasy game yesterday.
It was really just a struggle.
I thought for Las Vegas offensively, overall.
And you gotta credit that.
Two New England's defense first and foremost, and I stand corrected on James White.
Zac in the chat said that he is still an active.
Um, so in that case, yes, he's right.
That was definitely continue to be an R V two with James White inactive.
Once James White comes back, I think that value does drop.
E got ahead of myself. Still.
Still, though, I think you could find better value elsewhere.
I mean, um yeah, James White was active.
The first was he acted both of the first two weeks.
Um, I mean, at least week one.
Okay, So last week, without James, y I mean Burkhead on Lee had 8.9 points.
Uh, obviously went off this week, but in the two previous weeks, he had less than 12 points or 12.
1 points combined in the first two weeks.
Uh, ZEC says no.
He was out when Birkoff in week two, um, and again defined.
Look at the snaps, he says.
Well, anyway, yeah, we're not, You know, we're not gonna argue in James.
What is out? Burke has not, you know, not the better option.
When? When? When James Watt is out.
I just don't really love Birkhead overall again.
12 points to the first two weeks went off last week against Las Vegas.
We know Las Vegas does not have a good rush defense, and he's got a tough matchup in week for against Kansas City.
So I don't know, um, whoever whoever you wanna believe.
We've got some varying opinions here on Rex Burkhead.
So I guess do a little bit of your own research and your own thoughts here and do what you see fit with Rex Burkhead.
We are approaching theknot off time here and where you are through pretty much everything.
I wanted to talk about you guys bring anything that you wanted.
Thio, talk about here quickly before we sign off.
As far as anything, we talk about injuries, um, top fantasy performers.
Any new stories? We didn't touch on anything off the top of your head for.
Otherwise, we will wrap up and watch the Monday Night football.
Yeah, I guess with Monday Night Football to be starting, how do you How do you guys see this game going? Um, I'm really excited to see the Ravens defense going against this Chiefs offense because I think the Ravens like I mean, they signed Clay's Campbell and their defense has looked really solid through two weeks.
And their defense, I thought, was gonna be the best in the NFL at this point.
Chiefs aren't that great at stopping the run, and the Ravens could just run all over you.
So the Ravens Air 3.
5 point favorites in this game, and I actually think they're at home.
I actually think they're gonna come away and walk, walk away with the win in this one.
I think they're gonna be the hunger your team.
Uh, they lost their chiefs last year, and obviously the chiefs coming off that Super Bowl win.
So I actually really like the Ravens chances at winning in this game.
It's looking like it's going to be pretty fantasy friendly.
But the Chiefs struggled a little bit last week.
It was against the division opponent, and I've never the type of person that wants to bet against the Chiefs offense like they shouldn't be fine for fantasy.
But I do see a situation in this game where maybe the Ravens come with a good game plan and the Chiefs maybe get off to a pretty slow start.
Henry, how do you cap this game? Kind of one, that I'm just hoping to sit back and watch.
If there was a spot to bet against the Chiefs, it would be this game.
And so I guess I would be inclined to do that just to say I did it in a lot of ways.
When Zach and I were talking about this game on Saturday, um, on the betting show, he was just pointing out, you know, several of the individual player mismatches, you know, kind of on both sides of the ball.
From a fantasy standpoint, I think Mahomes is gonna be relying on calc a lot tonight.
I think Clyde Edwards whole air is gonna be against it.
It's a tough matchup for him on.
I think you're gonna get yours from Lamar Jackson on those Ravens running back.
So I'm curious to see how this timeshare kind of continues to evolve.
I was looking at ****** Knife.
I we talked about it at the beginning of the show.
It's in the chat if you are watching live.
But just one matchup, I kind of pull.
That might be, uh, interesting to play tonight over there.
A ****** knife fight, fantasy points.
Lamar Jackson going up against Patrick Mahomes.
Who's going to swarm or, uh, my homes is catching 2.
5 points off the top.
I might actually leave the homes there.
The Chiefs of trailing.
I could see him having a really big game so that one eyes in here and then tow.
Win this match up.
You have to get both sides correct.
The other one with it was Travis Kelsey on Clyde Edwards Hilaire fantasy points with Edward Teller catching 1.5.
Think he's gonna be the star here for the Chiefs offensively, tonight.
Actually, Tyree kill having a couple of big plays here and this one as well.
But that would be the ways I would so again go check out ****** knife fight if you click on the link.
If you're watching live, Zach, just put another new Lincoln at the bottom of the chat there.
So if you use that link or if you just wanna go check out the website when you decide to sign up, use the promo called Flurry.

All of a sudden I had 105 to play with.
Can't complain at all about that.
Check out the website.

But in your state, this is a great website for you in a way to get your sports gambling kicks off.
Um, one last thing I wanted to touch on for this game as I'm looking right now, and it looks like the ESPN panel of experts for their pregame show all picked the Ravens, so they've got 55 game or five.
Excuse me Panelists picking the Ravens over at ESPN.
We saw this last weekend.
I think there's a viral tree tweet going around of everybody picking the Jaguars.
And then, of course, that did not go very well for them, either.
So any time that there's a sweep, unless it's like you know, the Ravens versus the Jets or something like that, anytime it's a sweep of two really good, really competitive teams that always makes me, uh, I feel like it's gonna go the other way.
I was already on the Chiefs.
I like the Chiefs plus 3.5.
I like Patrick Mahomes in prime time.
I think that they struggled and were stifled against the Chiefs pretty much the entire game last week.
I don't think we see that two weeks in a row.
I think the Chiefs offense is gonna be clicking.
Not that the Ravens offense won't.
I think this is gonna be a well, I'm not in love with the under or over either.
So I am taking the Chiefs spread.
I also have the Chiefs plus 1 55 to finish off in.
Partly that I made this weekend with the Buccaneers and the Packers.
So I am pulling for the Chiefs big time tonight, Henry.
What else were you? What else you got? Yeah, I was just gonna say, looking at the spread numbers, I'm not sure where the markets at right now, I haven't looked about this game.
It's one. Like I said, I'm just sitting back to enjoy.
But if you could get the Chiefs at 3.
5 that that is an intriguing number on the spread.
I think for me, because I see this game going back and forth.
Um, but yeah, it's all hands off.
I think the Ravens have a lot of matchup advantages, but I'm really excited to see how it plays out.
There are just two other quick things I wanted to throw in here, and you guys can comment on them before we get off the air.
Justin Jefferson yesterday with the Vikings, had a huge day in terms of fantasy over 30 fantasy points I wanna have on a roster.
So if he's available in your leagues.
Add the planes. Ricky Receiver.
We've seen how poor this defense is.
I think a lot this year is gonna have Minnesota throwing the ball a lot.
And if he's going to emerge, is the guy that cousins can rely on.
I want Mason, Justin Jefferson on my teams, even if I'm not starting right off of this performance.
Kind of a wait and see, you know, approved me again, but I was encouraged yesterday.
It was one of the first bright signs we've seen out of Minnesota all year.
And then the other one was just a news update.
I met with the Texans today.
That secondary obviously needs some help in a big way.
And it was Adam Schefter.
His report on the Not so.
So it looks like Houston will be having Earl Thomas joined that defense here this week.
Obviously, that's a good thing for the Texans.
Um surprised that it took him this long to find a roster spot.
Um, not not quite sure if they're just was a lack of interest or he wanted to wait and he wanted to pick a team or go to a team that was interested in him.
Um, more so than another one? Not really sure, but definitely an impact player on a roster now will definitely help protections, because the Texans are struggling all around and, yeah, I agree.
Totally on the Vikings young wide receiver.
I think a lot of their games, we're gonna be high scoring games because their their defense is so bad.
And if cousins is able to keep slinging the ball around, he's gonna be a beneficiary.
A beneficiary of that. Aziz.
Well, any final thoughts on those two things, Tanner, before we sign off here? Um, no.
Actually, I was gonna say the album compares the beast as the last thing I was gonna throw out there.
He killed me last night, but that touchdown catch was one of the nicest touchdowns I think I've ever seen.
But yeah, but Earl Thomas, obviously a great player.
Uh, that would definitely help them out.
They Texans are in rough shape right now.
They've come out against three really tough teams.
I mean, they had to play the Chiefs, the Ravens and Steelers, all Super Bowl contenders.
Uh, there's a big reason why I was kind of down on the Shawn Watson going into the year, Um, so they they need they need all the help they can get right now.
I was down on Shawn Watson as well was also kind of down on Russell Wilson.
And he's making me look like a big old fool as he set an NFL record 14 touchdown passes through the first three weeks of the season.
Russell Wilson and Aaron Rodgers Probably my M v p.
