Scare you get a nice Erin Jones jersey, right? Yeah.
See, You know what I'll give you.
I'll give you a David Bakhtiari jersey.
Nobody cares about him.
All right? I'm a Let's get into this episode, though.
Yeah, if you have the new make sure follows here SportsCastr describe because people blah, blah, blah, blah, blah Warner's already sighing and stuff, Meaning I'm talking too much already and I just started talking like the level of disrespect that I get from Warner.
It just makes it's not even tolerable anymore, you know? Just wait till this episodes over what? Never mind go ahead.
But anyway, so we have a first of the topics talked about, so let's get right.
So let's start off with the NFL stuff.
By the way, it makes you guys check out NFL Weekly episode to Warner joined us and messed up the whole blow, because normally it's supposed to go like 30 minutes.
Here. We're like an hour.
So that's that, anyway, So the Eagles faced off against the build up the Bangles.
This is the biggest yesterday, and the Bangles and the Eagles tied 23 23.
I said on, uh, if a weekly that both things were like they were playing not to lose and we'll Carson Wentz hasn't played, Let's just say has to play too hot.
So far this year, he's completed 59.
8% of his passes.
Three touchdown, six interceptions.
You got that six interceptions.
He's with a as a quarterback rating.
Not keep your quarterback rating of 63.9.
That is his lowest of his career.
He was terrible.
Like good quarterbacks.
Quarterback rating is like around 100.
She just Wow, Warner.
Oh, who is more to blame are under more pressure.
Carson Wentz or Doug Peterson, head coach.
Let's be honest right now.
Carson Wentz is condom playing like Nathan Peterman.
Three touchdowns, six interceptions under 60% completion percentage.
Sounds like Nathan Peterson numbers, and if you look at it, it's It's Carson wins because his mechanics there often is up to him.
Correct him. He's, you know.
Either he's either throwing off platform or he's letting go to earlier.
He's trying to rush the delivery or he's not using his hips as much.
It's certain things, and that's why he's sailing balls or spiking balls or throwing them to the left or the right.
Maybe his elbow or shoulder is not pointing at the target.
How you're supposed to throw, and it's just it's a mechanical mess right now for Carson wins and and I think that's that's why it's his fault.
It comes down to him to fix it.
That's a great point there about Warner.
Um, I'm have to respectfully disagree with you for one reason.
It's kind of a big reason to, though, um, but again, we want to really quickly at the point you made is valid.
I mean, Carson Wentz, the accuracy of some of his throws just has not been there.
But Carson Wentz is the guy that set the set.
The quarterback market for guys like that press got Jared Gall and then ultimately impacting the homes that Sean Watson's Russell Wilson.
Because they Carson got paid before rust the rust.
Reset it, then, um hmm.
My homes murdered it, Um, but yeah.
So that's what Carson.
What did Carson once got? Got signed a four year, $128 million contract extension.
Right, When you are paying a quarterback that kind of money, right, you don't just bench them or trade them or cut them or what? Or whatever, right? The coach is the guy that's gonna be the one that is going to get the boot First is gonna be the coach.
That's Doug Peterson.
And look at look at this Eagles offense.
They had a look very dynamic this year.
Granted, Carson Wentz has a bunch of garbage cans that xylitol not used nationals there, but he has a bunch of garbage can throw the football, too, so his the best.
He goes like a weapons on the offensive line has been depleted of injuries so far this year.
So but still, I'm not excusing his play.
Miss throws the accuracy issues the mechanic issues that you portly, correct, you correctly pointed out.
But who's under more pressure and more to blame? I think the blame is little more equal.
Who's under more pressure is Doug Peterson because he's not the guy that got a four year, $128 million contract extension? The coach is gonna be the guy to get the boot first.
That's that Z President shows.
Yes, the coach gets the boot first, but ultimately, I'm not sure if that will be the right decision by by the Eagles owner, um of of which I do not know his name, but I'm assuming it's a him, and I'm assuming he's white, to be honest with you, And that will be a topic for a later time in this episode.
But first, let's go to the n b A.
The Lakers on their way to their first MBA finals since a while ago.
Oh, Sean Sean did the Lakers winning so far in this season, um, do enough for LeBron's legacy to really be cemented in an all time great Laker or an all time great, um, or or the goat of the MBA? Well, the that's the effect is legacy, like going to the finals technology perspective products and the performance of a broad J put on display.
Especially in that fourth quarter look.
And that fourth quarter, he said to his teammates, Give me the ball.
Okay, that's what superstar all time great talents do.
38 16 rebounds, 10 assists and war.
And I hope I love you're watching.
I highly doubt you're watching.
But listen, buddy, you he probably way being completely I would have been, like, two o'clock last night.
And he went to Yes.
No wonder you're 4 ft 11 Gs.
I'm playing. I'm five.
I know you're taller than 4 11 but, you know, people can get some sleep, get some sleep.
Sorry, I'm actually 4 11 and 5/8 of an inch.
Like, uh, actually, you're wrong.
I'm 4 11 and 1/10 of in it.
So got that, Anyway, by they.
But anyway, back to the point cases place spectacular.
But I guess the only I didn't really think about it that way. Thio.
See how you prayed? Worse? The question just genius by me.
You know it affects his legacy because it's almost like like Katie.
If you went to the next and taking the next to the finals way, elevating off franchise not the next art historical basketball, their historical playing in the mother freaking Madison Square Garden, right? But resurrecting off, ah, lost franchise like call the Lakers that Adam made the playoffs in six years that I've made the finals of the decade, right and in between, and six year playoff drought with a lot of fun.
Sure, I'm gonna be honest with you.
Ah, lot of teams are looking at you like, just shut the heck up, man.
Six years. Big whoop.
I'm a Hornets fan.
When the when was the last time the Hornet's did anything in the playoffs? No, but I get what you're saying.
Um, yeah, I think it does affect LeBron um, positively.
But his work by far is not over yet.
His work, his work by far is not over yet.
If he doesn't wanna finals, this year is not gonna do enough to his legacy.
He wins the finals this year, and I think he's right there.
I mean, that would be what, its fourth championship in how Maney tries.
Probably like 10.
10 so that will put him neck and neck.
But I think that will put him neck and neck with MJ potentially over the top, depending on how he plays.
And then if he does it again next year, I'll forget about it, man, That'll be six or five rings for LeBron in 11 year and 11 finals appearances over, Like, what? 19 year career, 18 year career with multiple MVPs? Um, not a Defensive Player of the Year award.
And, you know, I think that's really going to set his career over the top, especially if he performs at the highest of high levels.
Like he like he does.
And you know what? I think that's maybe step aside, Michael Jordan.
Here's the new king of basketball.
Yeah, I wanna I wanna fish on Sam right quickly, but, um, yeah, it affects it and a very small way because you get your resurrecting a franchise that for the past decade has been rather mediocre, right? So besides the heck? No, it does nothing for for for for Lexie.
Because, like you said, perfectly job not finished this the 10 10 10 finals and in his career, ninth in the past 10 years.
So it's Elias by, uh, no, no, that that's like him. Um, crack.
Um, there are people like, for example, like your brother, right? Yeah.
He's been a lousy, like 12.
Right? 13 13 for his entire life span for the most were abroad in the finals, Every single here.
Besides, one year when he got hurt, and then he's 13 10 And then the other three years, he said he was in Cleveland carrying them, so that I mean I mean so really there there are people.
Little kids are like preteens or teenagers.
They have never lived in the world Well abroad.
Shake did not miss the finals.
Okay, All right. Quickly.
I know a lot of people, just like Stephen and others were gonna say, mj his path to the finals, uh, is way tougher.
Which it is, By the way, LeBron faced the Celtics, by the way, with Paul Pierce kg Rondo, Ray Allen for Hall of Famers.
Can I mention something? Go ahead in that game five LeBron had 38 points, 16 rebounds and 10 assists with 22 turnovers.
Let me say that again.
38 points, 16 rebounds, 10 assists and two turnovers.
That is amazing right there.
And it looks like that.
Well, we're gonna have to resume sports headlines.
Shawn, Shawn has some stuff to attend to personally, So we will resume, um, sports headlines as soon as possible.
Um, we also everyone's I am.
We also may have something coming for you soon.
This afternoon, hopefully fingers crossed, but I don't want to commit to anything yet because you know how we roll We Unfortunately, our very last minute organization.
Thank you all for watching sports headlines, though we are the most authentic place in sports.
Um, this episode is always powered by crossover media at cross over 3.
65 on both Twitter and Instagram.
Go look at him on SportsCastr.
I'm their network and thank you all for watching Piece up.
Hold on one second.
Alright, Alright, alright.
I'm sorry. Yeah, sorry. Never mind.
We're not eating guys.
We are. We are pushing through.
um, so that it is gonna be a struggle.
Applied this the podcast because Zoom just downloaded that they everything that happened before my camera went off like I left or whatever.
Yeah, it's recording again now, so that's awesome.
So, Warner, go ahead and see what you're saying.
I just wanted to say 38 points, 16 rebounds, 10 assists and two turnovers.
That is amazing.
But go ahead with your point.
Yeah, but what I was saying about like like, LeBron, everybody says, Well, the road to the finals any way harder, which which I think it's a harder it was you had to go through the bad boy Pistons, Larry Bird and the Celtics.
The Knicks with Patrick Arrogance a wing and find the Pacers right? But it was also about that's not to say Like, uh um, that LeBron James is why road to the Capitals have been like slouches, either because he had the face.
He had to get through the Celtics with Ray Allen, Paul Pierce, kg Rodel, for all of favors wondering.
They think it's only three or two.
Or however, but do you think I don't know? Um e is for the Pistons that, by the way, have won a championship.
Chauncey Billups of the crew. Right.
So they weren't slouches, but they were not anywhere.
It's near harder than MJ.
So we're talking about the finals, the fighters, the team that you are the face in the finals.
Look, this is what brought is a my face, the greatest regular season team of all time in Golden State, four times back toe back, by the way, by the way, greatest regular season team ahead of the 19 nineties rules.
Um, and then right, you have the face prime.
Uh, the primary spurs, I say two times.
It was more of a transitioning for both teams at first. Just better.
Right? Um, in the hopes that they face, huh? No comment.
I mean, I mean, Dirk is an all time great, but it was not his hardest by any stretch of the imagination.
Now we've got to face the heat team that ran through the East, essentially.
I mean, they beat the bucks in.
And how many games, what? Five or six beat the Celtics and 5666 My bad should have one in five we'll talk about that later.
So, you know, not easy by any stretch of the imagination.
And he's had a really, really hard LeBron has run to the finals this year, having to go through the Blazers.
Don't the first it really quickly the narrative that people have said, Oh, well, the Lakers, they have trouble of Portland.
Okay, They after game one, they ran through Portland.
Oh, well, the small ball rockets.
I mean, watch out after game one ran through the Rockets.
Oh, well, the Clippers let me Hey, well, clippers that you're making Clippers three lead.
Oh, well, the Nuggets, something they're gonna they're gonna win.
They're gonna come back.
The Lakers just use that as well.
It really quickly.
People are acting like LeBron had 38 16 and 10 with two turnovers.
Um, and yes, the injuries like Will Barden in the conference.
Why was that Colin to the first round and Daniel House, who actually suspended? It's like the, uh, bubble thing, um, or losses.
But they're not losses that determine an outcome of a serious.
It's not like losing Kyrie and Kevin Love in the same Siri's oh, by the way what the LeBron do.
Oh, he took gold for a six games or even or even last year when we saw Golden State in Toronto losing playing Katie a lady and we and Golden State deal.
I mean, that was a Game seven.
If they would have had one of those two players.
Still, they wouldn't want that play.
They have Clay. They win the Siri's.
So I don't wanna hear excuses.
Okay, Harden and Russell, so good.
Get the job done.
I like those a lot.
Don't get beaten pot.
Okay? So stop with the excuses really quick.
I wanna go over MJ.
Teams facing the pilots. Flying ******.
The Lakers with magic beyond his prime.
For example, parts us.
That's the first one. The next one.
The Blazers basically Clyde the Glide Drexler, who we learned in that series that Clyde wasn't nowhere on MJ's level and and they son Evan that Siri's, um next you have the Suns with Charles Barkley and nameless like with Charles Barkley and team right Charles Barkley and team.
Then you face the SuperSonics.
You were never really a threat like Come on now.
Gary Payton is Ah, Hall of Famer would be no daggone bulls, right? And then Scottie Pippen and MJ and right and then countless amount of other players get the Jazz.
The Jazz might actually have been a better team, but this was the case with, Like, LeBron will face Toronto.
They had that psychological edge that when it came when it came toe winning time, right, the Jazz didn't stand a chance.
And also, people Warren Ah, God.
Warren loves free Oh, Ray Allen, uh, save LeBron's legacy.
Oh, well, uh, car resale. LeBron's legacy.
Guess what Steve Kerr hacks in And others if they don't hit those shots, it also NJ He retired for two years so they don't even get the face.
The rockets in the finals with a human lives wrong with, um crap Daniel with Kenny the Jet Smith for exemption out the inside the nbn tnc.
By the way, it's on the inside the n b a t n c versus ESPN Countdown One of the most authentic shows Azaz NBA on TNT.
Um, second to only us inauthenticity.
Yes, of course not.
Not even close. I'd be like.
Yeah, but it's the size of Shawn's forehead.
Yeah, Why? E even knows what you said.
I was like you said, You said, Yep.
I completely agree.
100% uh, e go through on a daily basis.
Like, if I have a fair You were talking about disrespect going into this episode.
There's your daily disrespect for me.
What did I do? Thio ever deserve this? If I have a we've been right, man.
But seriously, anyway, LeBron go back to where it all began.
This means nothing for LeBron's legacy finished, the dad got a job.
And if he does that, I mean and Mark Jackson will say, Mama, there goes that man.
I mean, it would be a four time champ.
Four time MVP Should be five times e.
Honestly, if we're being completely honest, should be like 12 times e.
I mean, really as being the best player for a long as he was the undisputed best player, might I add? Yeah.
All right, let's move on to the next topic.
I'm not saying now this is your your interest.
You uh okay, Shawn, again, this is the guy I had to work with the portrait I'm like, Are you listening? No.
Um well, what can what can MBA players in NFL players and honestly, MLB players as well going into the postseason? Um, do do right now to kind of reinforce, um, the fact that social justice is still ah, systemic, systemic concern in America.
Um, how can how can pro athletes continue to help that cause? Yeah, and obviously shout all the n b A w NBA players, obviously, for for their attempts at, you know, raising awareness.
Let me start off by saying this.
It would be to be completely honest, I once it I was upset with Rianna Taylor was like Jerry or whatever trial outcome.
What was that? Surprised? Not really.
And and that's the unfortunate reality that we live in right now and about being completely honest with the Onley scenario.
That's not the outcome is if this would kill me to say this because there'll be a sport on the way that we get different outcome is if the player never came back, they never came back because then when the players are playing and then it's like, Oh my God, sure affect the other people who unfortunately aren't really is connected or in some cases is my choice of cases they don't really understand.
Um, frustrating the frustration of players.
Um, so I feel like that was the only way that we were going to see a different outcome, but to continue.
Um, but how to continue raising awareness.
Also like, um well, LeBron and like other Jayson Tatum, Jaylen, Brown, Chris, Paul and others are doing by encouraging people to vote.
If you don't know, it's so important.
Um, if so, I was having a conversation with somebody other than right name remain name, not somebody.
You know, that, um, maybe have a conversation about police brutality were like, Okay, what did Iraq do when he's up against the crockery? But he was just saying whatever whatever rock do for police brutality.
And I said nothing but was like, he didn't intend Rock tried.
Obviously, Thio, um, make a test or social justice because this was happening.
This has been happening for 200 years, so obviously during his term of president, Well, but he tried to maintain it.
But when your president Democrat Democratic, give black like Barack Obama was.
But your Congress, your Senate, your, uh, Supreme Court judges are all Republican.
Majority majority Also also the Supreme Court Waas pretty pretty balanced.
I do want to say the Supreme Court was pretty balanced, Um, really going up until honestly, Justice Cavanaugh's appointment.
And then now, of course, with Ruth Bader Ginsburg passing away.
And most likely, this is new.
Um, Judge, being being accepted is definitely swinging, swinging the court for generations.
Also those air life, life terms.
In case anybody was wondering on that, you can't elect a Supreme Court judge and and the nominee, I guess you would say right now is 48 years old.
Yes, So he'll be in there for a while, Um, or she, uh, e information on that.
But if the majority because I said all you know, I was alluding to majority obviously, um, majority of your Senate.
You're also representatives.
Your, uh, Supreme Court judges your state legislator legislation, whether it's governors on the City Council Council part that your mayor, if the majority of Republicans and you're president of the United States, is Democrat, it's just clashing heads and nothing.
It's accomplished which is why it's so important of both, not just for president.
This year, before your state legislation, I think you come up with you for Congress, where is set for you and even even down to the sheriff's.
I mean, you can elect your county sheriff's.
They are electable, and most of them run unopposed.
So the first step is to have more people who want to be sheriffs and want to cause, um, a change for the better in your county.
So again, don't just vote for just president.
Vote for your city council.
I think you could vote for that.
Your mayor, your set, your state House of Representatives or whatever your Senate, your and then obviously you vote for your president as well.
Because again, if you don't vote, you just won't be your president.
You might Let's just say Joe Biden, the Democratic representative, our Democratic nominee went the election right.
But everything else stays Republican majority again.
If nothing will get accomplished, it starts of social change, healthcare or whatever you value.
So please go out and vote.
That's the only way something potentially can change for the better.
Um, if you want more information, go to the n B.
In the NBA Players Association.
That's a great website.
Check it out called Boat dot or guide to make sure that's the right website, um, to see.
And I think that's the right website.
Yeah, make sure you guys go over the boat dot or there's 35 days left until Election Day.
So please you the rest of the vote.
It takes less than two minutes to register.
Please go ahead in.
So, um, again boat dot org's morning.
If you can't, you put down a chat on SportsCastr.
Way ahead of you, Sean.
Oh, that's awesome.
Um, we get both dot org's vote, not just for president people, because they get nothing will get accomplished.
You vote that way, and you can You can request a mail in ballot, um, this year, and it's It's so, so important.
Um, to change, too.
Voting in electing representatives that represent you and your beliefs is pretty much the most important thing you can do in terms off involvement in government.
Because if enough people believe what you believe and feel how you feel, then you're going to elect the majority.
Oh, happy the majority and elect the person that you want.
Um, electing the person that you want is more likely, obviously with the majority.
Then that will let them passed legislation like abolishing the Electoral College, which has been brought up.
I believe in the seventies, when President Nixon was president Andi, he was in favor Republican President.
President Nixon was in favor of, um, abolishing the Electoral College.
Another thing is, I don't know if e know about this e don't know if you know, um, about this.
But there's a thing called a filibuster in the Senate where basically one person can basically tank the whole thing of legislation.
So even if you do get the majority and say, there's there's ah, whether your Democratic or Republican your party has a majority, your party has a White House.
Somebody from another party can basically filibuster and talk for hours upon hours and basically stall the legislation out of, um, out of production.
Basically, that's another way that things won't get past.
So you know, it's it's the government is a complicated thing, and honestly, I think it is too complicated.
Um, and no matter what part of the aisle you stand on.
I think you should vote for, uh, simpler government experience. Better.
More ways for each individual person to be involved and be informed on what they're actually voting for and what that will cause.
And the only the only way you can do that is by electing people that will also do that.
We'll promise to do that in there and their positions of power.
It is crucial, crucial to vote and voting by no means is gonna just fix everything.
Um, just when those people take their seat in the Senate chamber or in the Oval Office, But it is the first step to a long, hard process, um, towards systemic change in America.
Three point there and payment.
All right, let's move right along to our next topic.
Let's move onto the next topic. Warner, Your Packers.
Last night you guys went 37 to 30 e don't know what's so exciting for 1 40.
6 points per game.
Three and no record.
Aaron Rodgers is that bad man.
34 points a week.
1 30 points last night to a team that doesn't have the best playmaker.
Um, anyway, Warner Prevent defense in Week one with our best run defender being out for half of Week one and all of Week two and Week three.
And yes, Michael Thomas was out, but so was the Vontae Adams on our side, and we put up 37 points.
If I remember you correctly, Sean, you said the Saints would win on the under because you don't think that the Packers offense and receivers can do anything against that paint.
The second area of the Saints with scrubs like Alan Lazard and Mark ways Valdez Scantlin.
Thank you, but that sounds so much worse.
But I don't want to underestimate exactly how what what you said, because you basically said the Packers won't be able to score.
Then we put up 30 seven on 37 points.
You answer the question now 37 actually question now 37.
Go ahead one every 37.
What's your reaction to last night's game? How are you feeling? And are you at all worried about your packers? Are you serious? Yeah, that's what Why would I be worried? John, tell me why I would be worried.
Can you just, like, go so I can respond? Why would tell me right now? Why would I be worried about the baggers You please like, explain and answer the question so I could go.
I'm so happy right now, partly because Sean picked the Saints.
Probably because I love watching the Packers succeed, especially at the level that they're succeeding with.
Am I worried, Ma? Not really.
Um I was kind of I had reason to concern because we we gave up 34 points, although 24 of those were against a prevent defense, I will add.
And then, you know, the Lions were the first half of Lions game was pretty close and it looked like it could go either way.
But the last six quarters that the Packers have played have been phenomenal.
And that is, while missing, probably a top three defensive tackle in the game.
Probably the best run stuffing defensive tackle in the game over Grady Jarrett and Chris Jones.
Probably the bet deaf, I'd say the best route runner in the league and the top five receiver in the league? Yes, better than kin and Alan.
And you have said on multiple occasions that Michael Thomas only run slams now.
I'm not saying he is exponentially better, but he's better.
It's close, but he's better.
And, boy, oh, boy, I'm happy.
All right, let me start off playing incredible.
Carter's due to the Packers last night.
Aaron Rodgers continued to show why he is a bad boy.
And last night he was spectacular.
He was sensational.
He was all of the above last night.
But But don't say Don't say anything that you're going to regret, but don't say it.
I know you're gonna say something stupid.
Don't tarnish your legacy just because you don't like the Packers and how I like the package.
You know, I don't like the Packers has nothing to do with Aaron Rodgers.
It's because of me, isn't it because of you? Yes, it is.
Absolutely 1000 and 1% because of you.
I am dreading for the day.
I don't even know That's all right.
Staying and I don't care.
I am waiting for the day where the Packers lose that.
We come on sports headlines and I could just throw it in your face like, yeah, eat this.
The Packers suck.
Unfortunately, that won't happen for the time.
Mainly, what's the fact? That schedule right, but 16 and three, by the way, is Matt LaFleur is like record as a head coach in the NFL.
That's better than notable coaches Vince Lombardi on and others for the Packers.
Yes, I'm gonna have to waste of the Buccaneers gave for potential win because the Falcon say, beating all that Todd Girl is gonna have to run for 200 yards and Julio Jones is gonna have to have it. Don't even.
Yeah, but anyway, their offices business station on the first three games.
Never forget the death of our secondary to Julio Jones.
I'll never forget LaDarius Gunter had no chance.
But yeah, we've seen almost like crime.
Aaron Rodgers Warner is crying right now.
Um, we've seen Crime Aaron Rodgers these first three games, nine touchdowns, a blank for interceptions so far to see it with the 1 21 quarterback graded with the 90.
2 PBR, right? That's something you care about.
Um que BRS and better stat than quarterback rating, and it's in the nineties You know how good that is? Isn't Isn't average like in the 70 somewhere or sixties? I never really understand how Understood how q b r works, But I think so.
But yeah, This this offense is this offense is scary.
I'll give credit where credit's due.
The mat LeFlore Making second year adjustments with this team and yeah.
Uhh! Yeah, I'm gonna believe anything.
I might just keep it.
I might just keep this going and pick the packers, so lose every week e just wait and sometimes, right? Right sometimes, right? Like, yeah, It took 17 tribes when I was right.
Um, how this schedule looks easy.
Oh, my God, Elena.
That's so when I'm going to count on the loose ball games on the schedule.
Tampa Bay San Fran, Aaron Rodgers on pace on throw.
What? The loot Like I'm done with the losing games on the schedule.
Ample Bay stamp brand.
Green Day's about to go 14 and to Well, no, no, hold on.
Because we're probably gonna lose to a team that's not worth losing Thio.
And we're and we're probably gonna beat a team that we probably shouldn't be.
So that's the leavings.
Out do about 14 to get ready to be, What? 26 6 Matt Lafleur.
Ah, you know what? Oh, happy day, You know? Yeah.
In second round to the second round.
Packers getting eliminated in the second round.
Alright, Who's gonna eliminate us and say around? I mean Well, I wouldn't Here's what I'm gonna say Don't get don't get full on your own snacks, your stuff to eat dinner My point is saying that is y'all are facing nobody this year.
Little look, How are you all the first place team? Because they all wanted the vision.
You know, this works if you're Of course, you guys are such an easy is good.
You have to face the AMC itself.
Great. That's not your fault, Really.
That z three legit wins the tightest.
Can't surprise you, will.
They probably wouldn't know, but that's three for sure.
Guaranteed wins, right? Just leading the league in Q b r by the one shut up.
Then he faced you already beat the saints.
You have to face the rest of the NFC itself, which is the Falcons and the Panthers.
Well, I mean, we could we could we could potentially taken L to the Falcons, although it's very, very unlikely Way could potentially taken L to the Bucks.
Although I'd say that the bus, the bus being the one team that could I'm just going through your schedule.
Minnesota is not looking good at all. Right now.
We're still probably gonna split Minnesota, or well, maybe not split.
Minnesota will probably split somebody in the division.
Who, Chicago and Nick Boles.
Is your defense that bad? Where Nick folks get looks like prime time Brady.
My point is, honestly, yeah, what you think about it? My point is, if y'all don't go at least 13 and three, I'm going toe bash you like.
Seriously, this is the list of these are all the and three teams are one and two teams and these are the These are all of the teams with winning records right now.
You guys have the face.
You ready? Yeah.
I was looking through ESPN stats.
You know, when I said Aaron Rodgers had the highest qbr this year, Guess I guess.
Who's leading the league in sack yards.
Lost Joe Burrow 107 sack yards lost.
And then Jeff Driskel has played like what? 1.
5 2 games has 98 seconds lost.
Oh, my gosh, how bad are these offensive lines? Oh, my God.
, 97 sec yards in the Carson Wins has 81.
But Cheese man? Yeah.
Um, anyway, back 12 saying This is the list of teams that you guys are about to play with.
Winning records right now.
Example is only the first three weeks.
So there are teams.
Sam Brand, Chicago, Alma, my bad Tennessee and Sam France stand friends with a couple of weeks.
Tampa's in two weeks.
This schedules way told we played the Colts to Oh, we got about them.
I could potentially see Tennessee beating us, too, because they're run first team and Derrick Henry is a dog, and they also have a pretty good defense.
Yeah, but now that you mention it, this is a very, very easy schedule.
Thing this year came up with this list.
Sometimes the cards fall in your favor.
Other times they don't like the NFC championship game.
Last year, that was a blue club.
Yeah, it wasn't my No.
Yeah, let's get on to the next topic.
You just made me a little sad.
I'm still very, very happy.
But next topic Warner did the Celtics overachieve this year coming into the season.
Not just a low expectations, but I think a couple of people who are high on Imus I was, um, the Celtics overachieve this year.
And what's the potential for future? Either shoot their potential through the roof.
They have the potential to have the best team in the NBA in probably two years once LeBron is gone, assuming nothing major happens like Johannes going and partnering with Anthony Davis or the Heat or the Royal Warriors or something like that.
Um, but barring another super team, they have a shot to be the best team in the NBA.
Um, I think they achieve right where they were supposed t o conference finals.
Now I think the heat over achieved, um, we were talking about earlier in the season that the Sixers were probably favorites, followed by the bucks.
And then, um then the Celtics really on.
And you know what? I think they fell right into where they were supposed to be.
I think the Bucks and the Sixers definitely underachieved.
I think the heat over achieved, but I think the Celtics were right where at least I envisioned.
That is being right about conference finals, Um, or like, tough, tough second round matchup.
Yeah, I'm gonna say over a cheap, but not because of team accomplishments, but because of player development.
I don't think we expect that Jayson Tatum to take such a big jump this year.
So where? I mean, you have people like me and others putting him in the top 10 caliber players and actually gonna get draw.
Did is did he hit the number 10 spot, or did you get Tatum? Really? So you said you said the winner of this Siri's? No, I said, whoever plays better between the two.
Jimmy Butler wasn't the best player on the team that Siri's Bam was best player on the team.
That Siri's so and I said, never plays better.
So anyway, it will get to Jamal Murray lit.
I actually forgot about your mama when we're in production room or whatever.
Got about your mom Murray way.
Um, anyway, but yeah, it's based off love.
They look and how much fun.
They looked like they were playing with each other.
Remember in the preseason, like the Olympic team, but look like there was chemistry issues.
They publicly said, Hey, we're trying to learn how to play with each other, right? And you got as something from everybody, man.
Those that especially the top six.
I'll talk about camera.
JB Jayson Tatum, Gordon Hayward.
He really not. Seriously.
If he doesn't play a, it isn't quite they don't beat Toronto.
Market Smart Game two.
They were down by, like eight and a second time in the fourth quarter and Markets marches.
Runs off five straight threes like it was Clay Thompson.
He gets the game stealing block on Norman Powell, which would have tied the game for Toronto.
Right? And they had a couple of big stretches in this syriza's well, for my and for Boston to keep the serious competitive and a very close six games.
Um, so it was it was over it because I don't think we expected Jayson Tatum and Jalen Brown the play as well as they did take the next jump that they did.
And now when I think this is a great Lee said, well, she have anything to say actually started off.
So the Lakers beat didn't get too far.
We talked about this a little earlier on the show, but Jamal Murray well, performance from him. Water.
Has he taken a jump to star, even superstar caliber player? Or if not, how close is he what he needs to accomplish to get there? I think he is taking the jump to all star level.
Um, now that doesn't mean that he's a lock to make the all Star team next year.
We have a question.
That's like there's a hierarchy like house, he goes and superstar, I would say I would say, Yeah, Jilly, Right.
And then I would say, Then I would say Bonified, back up.
Rotational piece Starter star, old star.
Yeah, Okay, superstar M v P.
Or first team all MBA.
Um, so, yeah, I would say he's in.
He's in the start of all star range.
Um, he definitely took a big leap.
Now I don't know if I'm necessarily make the all Star team, but I think the Nuggets are poised for a really nice playoffs next year and, um, are definitely going to be scary for a lot of teams barring any significant injury.
Yeah, I've been on record saying that you're not gonna win an NBA championship unless you have a superstar guard or superstar link.
That's just the way the game is spending to get If I need to remind you in the chat or you're watching or listening to see your figures of all shot Uran idiot, that's not true.
Well, guess what? Let's look at that.
Looks like a recent NBA champions, right? The last team that have a t not have superstar, regardless, if you are going to win the championship with the Dallas Mavericks right before that.
And Sean keeps saying they were a fluke.
So yes, they were.
Before that, it was dispersed like 2003.
Earlier championships, 7 2020.
Parker was legit.
Top five, top 10 point guard league. Right.
Um, and then before that, it was probably the rockets on the on the first day and you get, like, 99 whichever you that I was.
And then before that was the rockets, like 93 94 94 95 right? The point is, in the past 25 or so years, like having four years, right? That's not where it happens.
Okay, now, Jamal Murray, as quickly become one of my most favorite players to watch.
He has such rich.
And what the headquarters, what do you do? It? Um, he has such great and the way he played playing through that injury, trying to will this team to a victory, right? And he he has that true like star superstar mentality as well.
Like I gotta up my game in the playoffs this year, I said at the start.
The playoffs as well.
Last year this year, outside the regular season, he averaged 18.
Right and the playoffs.
He averaged 26 a half 27 points, five rebounds.
Seven assists are 50% from the field, 45% from three, which actually that might be higher because I have a couple of bad shooting games against the Lakers and almost 90% from from the line.
I'm talking about Game five especially, but you can't just say that would be better if you take out all the bad things.
I mean, no, no, no.
We thought it was batting average would be 400 if you took out all the times went over four.
No, that's not what I meant.
I said, You take out I'm like it.
No, not like take out.
Like if those bad shooting reminds you just realized how done what you just said.
Was this terrific in it? A.
But anyway, But while we evaluate players based on what they do with a postseason, that's how you're supposed to evaluate players.
But when you're trying to make a big jump from bonified like, I guess you could say star like a star like a star, like an All Star caliber guard in the East before the season.
Uh, fully all right, Well, you try to make a jump because I wouldn't comment starter either on your tier list.
I would have put him in it.
Jamal Murray. I was putting my daughter.
You wouldn't get him a starter.
I think he was a starter.
No, like start like because that's underrating him.
I think were the starter and All Star. He's not just a start.
I think he was just a starter at the beginning of the year.
Hey had not shining.
He has star potential.
He had all started 19 points a game, is the second leading score and showing us what he could do last year in the playoffs.
All Star caliber player, especially the Eastern Conference.
That's a fair statement to make, but not in the East again, if you're in a freaking loaded Western Conference with Russell Westbrook, James Hardie, Chris Paul Lucas Dotage, Step Clay with her healthy, there's only six guard spots.
You think you're all earlier over one of those six guys.
You're freaking insane.
I'm not taking any of them, I said.
He wasn't an All Star.
He was a starter over.
How is a good start? That's underrating him, though, so there needs to be another tier.
There needs to be starter and below I'll go rotational piece, sixth man starter.
So sixth man is a guy who's like low end starter or high end rotation.
How does that? No.
Because at the same time you could say Lou Will Would would have been an All Star right, because he averaged points.
No, no, we're talking value to the team.
No, the Nuggets don't do any of this last year or this year.
Dr. Mark, I agree.
That's why he's ascended to all star level.
You're underrating Jamal Murray.
Anyway, back to my point.
But when you're trying to make a big jump from all star caliber player to superstar player, what you need to do is you need to perform at that.
Like, for example, when they kyrie jump like that 2016 playoffs, right? What? When he hit the shot was gonna get wanted.
Oh, my gosh, Kyra, you're really, really good.
So a man that superstar s caliber player was we the following season and came out and replicated his performance like dropping 25 game right? And being the Robin is Kyrie would hate me to stay in that calling that.
But the robin to LeBron James is Batman.
Okay? Jamal Murray.
I'm not saying you have to drop 25 next year because I honestly don't think that's realistic for 82 game season with the way the Nuggets wanna play.
But Jamal Marini's a play to any capacity of this where it's like you can't do nothing to stop him, and that's what what you have to double team him if you double team him.
That is a problem because the nineties healthy.
Which is why the Denver Nuggets.
I am 100% confident now they will win an NBA championship.
A final at some point.
Nicola, your kids is a top 10 player.
Jamal Murray is ascending to becoming one of the more underrated and best guards in the league.
Great, great, great.
Uh, players a part of this team role player, Jeremy Grant.
They better bring back because I mean Jeremy Grant in Game four and in game three.
My gosh, um, this team, whether healthiest skerry and your mama is gonna be a big part of that.
And I'm speaking of another scary team.
Sean, will the Miami Heat be ableto take your Lakers for a ride and potentially win a championship? Um, this year we're not gonna go into a deep in depth team like copper.
I mean, we about preview.
I'm gonna wait toe at the latest Wednesday because I want to see if we could get somebody on the show.
Just little teaser there.
Um, Laker to six.
Listen, First off first off Boston, Obviously kind of Beardmore than Miami. Here's why.
I feared Boston Morning Miami and wanted a Lakers.
Dr spoke with First off, You know what the smoke is all about Because Miami eliminated Johannes Lover boy of yours.
Okay, so let me get out there now.
Uh, you are so petty.
I know I love it.
It's It's a great feeling, you know, Um, well, Boston has tolerate was said to be that third ball handler for Miami, right when he's on the floor, but also Tyler hero Jimmy bowlers at some occasions.
Bam! The rest of Miami's team category driving forgot about.
Can we get him? Much of our money team is a bunch of shooters, and I don't want a bunch of three Indian guys.
I don't want to disrespect them because they're really good at what they do. Right.
But Boston Camba going to Hamburg.
That's five guys that can create for themselves off the dribble and get 20 to 25 night, and I'll be like, gosh don Well, they're that good or not.
That surprised by it, right? Miami.
Jimmy isn't ultra aggressive when it comes to scoring the ball.
So that's really three.
That's really three guys.
He's still coming off the bench.
So his men's are a little bit limited to those five guys, right? And then bam.
Why the eighties got to take the challenge? He did a decent job.
This Siri's with the matter most of taking a challenge regarding Nicola Yokich.
He's got to do that because you know who Babs Garden Band's gonna bands coming for a D.
Okay, so that's now.
That's not what I think.
We match up really, really well in Miami.
And while while they could throw a couple of different bodies of LeBron, you're not, you're not.
You have to pick your poison.
You can't just make a wall and stop the Lakers, all right? You're you're not gonna be able to stop LeBron and a D four times in a Siri's Lakers and six has been a great run by Miami ass off the coach.
Bo, right, be drastically overrated.
Here's my pick for coach of the year, right? Especially because a certain somebody I don't even I forgot who this guy is, but started.
Somebody said Jimmy Butler is the most overrated.
Offseason moves from this past off season, but I don't know.
I think I think he's a Packers fan.
I think he I think that was the guy who beat you out for that job on film ****ysis.
But no, it was me.
Yeah, I did say that.
And then I followed that up by saying Al Horford was the best one.
Yeah. E meant to flip them.
I meant to say Butler was the best horse.
E just spoke wrong over to I mean, like, God.
And they were a bow.
Like I was kind of right, though, about Wait a minute.
I'm kind of cloudy on who I said for the West, but think about that colleague.
I said Conley for one.
I don't know which one.
The one is gonna make a really good one is gonna be really great, but over eight it.
But I got the I got the Lakers, but I got him in seven.
I got him in a neck and neck game.
Um, you know, neck and Aske Llosa's Shaun's face was to a wall when you coughed on it just now.
Um, so you know, I've got it's gonna be a great Siri's and I can see definitely the point differential being like the Heat Celtics Siri's being maybe Lakers plus 14 or something with 14 points covering those seven games.
And, um, I think the Heat are gonna give him run for the money.
But I think the Lakers were gonna end, end up getting that money and winning another championship for LeBron and for that franchise.
Um, let's let's go in.
Let's go into the next topic, though.
Final topic of this episode.
Which team we already know which quarterback is Lamar Jackson is under more pressure than Patrick Mahomes.
Patrick Mahomes has virtually no pressure because of that $10 million contract and what he's done so far.
What team, though, is under more pressure the Chiefs or the Ravens? The team that's under more pressure is actually the Kansas City Chiefs.
And here's why Kansas City is under more pressure for a couple of reasons why you need a bounce back and gets another solid defense because in last week we face the A really good
