4321 No way we're in way install for a couple of seconds and then we'll do the introductions committed.
Some people start to pop on because we're gonna have to imitate invitations.
We got some people hopping in.
What's up, guys? Another Another week of football? Baby, I'm ready.
Week three Hopefully not as bad as Week two was for all the knees.
Blessed the needs, little baby Jesus up there.
Keep an eye on him.
Whatever D do you happen for? You know, Satan, that Harry Lett's gett right past all that she had that out.
Uh, all jokes aside, it's good to be back.
Welcome again to the great ratings pregame show for week four.
We are in the process of updating a ton of stuff on the website which we haven't brought up on any of the past shows, but feel free to go there.
Um, we are looking at ah lot.
I'm not gonna get into it, but there's some fun articles.
A lot of really interesting rankings were about to update all of the rankings to reflect the statistics and plug in the formula.
That's more your side of things, but the full we'll have the full Madden style ratings in play for every player in the league based on current production going up against obviously benchmark of, uh but yeah, so we're gonna have all of those ratings all updated on the site.
Should be in time for a week. Four.
So that's gonna be the way we usually try to go get it released after Week four.
We're gonna try and do it a little earlier this year.
I actually became interested in gridiron ratings because of the unique way that Jeff had formulated just the approach to grading out players.
It's actually pretty interesting.
I was not always a guy that was with the gridiron ratings crew, and that's what drew me in.
So definitely go get a check out.
What else? I'm on Twitter at Ronnie A.
I post on Twitter once every month, and it's always gold.
He's on Twitter and he posts a lot more than me.
It's that it's NFL Underscore.
Di Matteo D I m a t t e o.
Yeah. I put some stuff on Twitter. Yes.
Um, and there's some things at gridiron rating without the S is our Twitter long story.
Feel free to Diana's about that.
I'll explain why we don't have the Yeah, but what else? Anything else to bring up before we start jumping in? You know, I think we're getting some focus on the live feed here.
We're getting up against noon.
We should probably get right into it.
We tend to run over a little bit.
Yeah, yeah, for sure.
So if you haven't done them before, we run through the lines for all the games and they bring up any specific things toe watch, fantasy wise for those individual matchups.
And hopefully we hit like we have the last few weeks because if you have been plugging in our over under and spread predictions, you would have been making a lot of money.
And I give most of that credit to Jeff.
I usually build off of his takes, but let's go and dive into it.
So first game, Well, the Las Vegas Raiders at the New England Patriots.
It's a 47 point over under New England's favored by 6.5.
You know what? I really like that number.
I think 40 sevens really close, and I'm gonna push the over giving me the over, and I think it's gonna close.
So we were talking like it's gonna go between, like, 40.
It'll be like 48 to 50 is where I think they're gonna end up.
Jeff is taking the give me the over over.
And, you know, I really think we're gonna be looking at a situation where it's gonna be New England taking the W.
I'm going to take the over a swell.
So we're both going with New England.
You think they're gonna cover Spread who? 6.5.
I think it could be closer than that. I'm gonna go.
They don't cover.
Look at, um, I'm gonna be contrary in, You know, I'm going to say that they are going to cover.
I think the Raiders look really good this year. I'm actually really pleased.
Unhappy with Jon Gruden is being able to do what I hoped you would.
He's such a fun guy to root for in the first place, But I don't think that the Raiders of the Seahawks I don't know.
I just think that Belichick's gonna have a bit of a fire after what Russell Wilson did to him last week.
There's gonna be some openings.
I think, the readers a little bit more diligent.
The run game that I think Seattle had been last week.
I would expect to see a lot of Josh Jacobs trying to get Cam Newton company off the field Raiders defensively.
You know, John, the neighborhood had a really scared what looked like a scary injury where he split up the field against the Saints.
Thio s a bullet, prompting that he slammed into one of these like camera risers.
That the sidelines too close to sideline.
Turns out he sprained in a C joint, chipped a collarbone.
Allegedly, he's still going to try and play.
Um, he's their best guy in the secondary.
Yeah, he's not quite right.
I would expect New England to take advantage of them deep, but expect time of possession to be tilted towards the Raiders, which is what's gonna keep that over under in check.
Yeah, and the mere bird is an interesting guy just to keep an eye on.
I would not start him anywhere, but he is somebody.
Just if you're struggling with injuries, keep an eye on him.
This game might be a good ad as a desperate flux play going forward into the season because it looks like Edelin and hairier kind of the guys.
But Cam Newton, if teams air playing heavy coverage on the two outside guys, he was not afraid it all to drop in on Demir Bird last week.
My mom is calling.
I'm gonna let her know that we're broadcasting live right now.
Tell her to hop on my moms on here waken tell who's got the cooler mom out of this.
By the time I explained to her how to do it, it's gonna be will be done.
So, um, Cam is a great start.
Adrian Phillips has been a godsend so far in the second area.
That was something that, if you were keeping track of the gridiron ratings Twitter in Gary Van ****.
Rdp Guy tooting that horn for four months now, trumpets for months. Yes.
So moving on next game Rams at Buffalo, 46 a half over under Buffalo is favored by two.
You know what? Give me Give me buffalo on this one and cover the what was number 46 on the over under.
Yes, man, I'm gonna hit the over.
I'm gonna hit the over.
Only because Josh Allen's been white hot.
I've never been a Josh Allen apologist.
He's not really my favorite player.
I've never fancied. Could be a very good quarterback.
I've no trouble saying that.
I mean, so far is proving me wrong.
Well, he's Justo jump in.
There's I can't remember who hosted it, but somebody did a really interesting breakdown of his entire passing mechanic in his footwork are different then they were last year.
He did some work on that over the off season and turned it into a pretty competent quarterback about time because he's got the arm strength.
He has the mobility of the sizes, all the things you look for in a franchise quarterback.
But there was something between the ears and for his ears to his shoulder that just wasn't coming together.
I used to always call him Uncle Rico like he was who Uncle Rico Waas.
Now, but now it's like he's who Uncle Rico thought he was right, and so definitely big.
Devin Singletary, though, is a guy that you mentioned keep an eye on in this game.
What are your thoughts with him? So Devin Singletary is gonna get almost the entire load for Buffalo this week.
Zac Moss is out with an injury.
They had split snaps nearly 50 50 the last two weeks.
Now it's gonna be the Singletary show.
Uh, if Buffalo hopes to control the clock at all in this matchup, which they're gonna need to on some level, they're gonna have to get Singletary involved in the screen game, and they're gonna have to run it with him.
So I would expect him to actually get close to 20 touches, which is a lot, especially in fantasy world.
So if you haven't fired him up, feel free is cheap in DFS grabbing, sticking in your lineups.
Especially if you're in a g p p or one of those larger tournaments.
So definitely a guy worth taking a look at.
Um, I think that's great.
And Justin, I deep note Troy Hill is one of the most targeted cornerbacks and in football right now, he's playing opposite of Jalen Ramsey and is getting peppered by quarterbacks.
I would imagine that he is going to continue to be a great place.
So if you are happening to playing leagues that require cornerback and your streaming them, he's a great guy to plug in.
This week, Um, and then in that note, Troy Hill is playing obviously opposite Jalen Ramsey.
He's gonna get a ton of targets.
Ramsey is going to be shadowing digs.
Which leads me to also believe that John Brown is a good play this weekend fantasy.
Now, I don't have firsthand knowledge of this, but I'm gonna imagine it's true.
The article and G Q.
From two years ago, Jalen Ramsey called out Josh Allen specifically calling him a trash quarterback.
Yeah, all of a sudden, so I would fully expect that that article is hanging up right now and Josh Allen's locker, and he reads that every day.
I bet in preparation for this game.
And so Steph Digs is gonna be going one on one with Ramsey on the on the one side, and you're gonna Troy Hill getting victimized by John Brown on the other.
And so I wouldn't be surprised if Josh Allen attacked Ramsey a little bit.
Just a But yeah, I mean, I like Josh Allen in the matchup, though.
Yeah, I'll tell you what.
If he does that mean he's exceeds? I am officially a true believer of Josh Allen.
Right now, I'm just kind of happy that he's doing well, but I still not putting all my eggs in this basket.
But if he can outfox Ramsey in this game, all in You took Buffalo.
You took buffalo to cover and you took the over last week.
I played contrary because I wanted to.
I was agreeing with you on everything. Thistles.
Actually, legitimately, I disagree with you.
I think the Rams were going to win this game.
And for you guys, if you are putting money on things just for what it's worth, our take lines up with Jeff.
He is like the face of good, our own ratings.
And he has been right with most of his picks so far.
This'd the first time, I think in the past three weeks that I've actually truly disagreed with you.
But I agree on the over.
I think they're gonna hit the over my hunches Rams win.
And obviously that means I'm taking spreads its ok.
Everyone's got me wrong sometime.
Alright, Waken revisit that one at the half time show Eso Texans at Pittsburgh, 46 point over under Pittsburgh's favored by three.
I don't think the Texans hold up their end of the bargain on this thing.
From a point standpoint, I think I'm gonna smash the under.
His defense is just plain nasty, and Shawn Watson has a really bad habits.
Still is a veteran of holding onto the ball too long, and he is one of the slowest releases from Snap to throw in the NFL T. J. Watt.
But Dupri have been unreal coming off the edges, and they're strong enough inside to create enough pressure where I think Watson is gonna be under fire all day.
I don't love any of the Texans receivers.
I don't love David Johnson.
I'm passing on the entire Texans offense.
I think it's gonna be a rough day for them, especially in Pittsburgh.
So you're taking Pittsburgh cover.
I'm gonna take Pittsburgh to cover the spread, but I'm gonna smash the under.
You know, I agree with you on both of those calls.
I don't think there's anyone worth bringing up in this game.
Fantasy wise, Um, Johnson's gonna have a monster week.
You're gonna play juju.
If you got them, you're gonna play Connor if you got him, Whatever.
Fire up all the usual suspects.
But if you have to, Shawn Watson.
This is second week in a row.
I said last week You should probably sit in, and it probably isn't a bad decision.
Your options were.
I'm sitting again this week.
I don't love the matchup.
I don't love his tools.
He doesn't have that Alfa guy to throw to anymore.
And Joe Hayden's gonna take away whoever is on the left.
Probably Brandon cooks.
It's weird to think that we're saying of all quarterbacks in any mash up to sit to Shawn Watson, but he doesn't have his best receiver anymore, and that's one person's fault.
One person's only the only other thing I bring up here.
Mike Hilton, another cornerback to keep an eye on.
He is very interestingly, he's playing a little bit less than 50% snaps from the Steelers.
However, he has the fifth most blitzes of any player in the NFL right now as a cornerback of all things he's playing in and nickel coverage for them and kind of all over the field, a little bit.
But if you're going to predict a splash play game for a defensive back, I think they're gonna bring him on a blitz again.
Probably seven or eight times this game.
This Shawn Watson holds the ball onto he holds onto the ball longer than any other quarterback in the NFL.
And I would not be shocked to see Mike Hilton come in with another sack.
Interesting guy to keep an eye on Veteran I.
P players will know this.
Two years ago, Desmond came for the Chargers was really similar.
He was only about a third of all snaps, but he was the number three or four corner in the NFL for fantasy because he got a ton of sacks, forced fumbles.
He got a few tackles, and that's really the role we're seeing developer Mike Hilton right now.
So it's definitely a high efficiency, low volume role.
Alright, next game 40 Niners at the Jets 40 Niners are favored by 3.
5, and the over under is 42.5.
And you said Giants, not jets, right? I'm sorry.
I'm having post try.
I'm having post traumatic stress from last week's game because we lost. I'm a 49%.
Those people don't know.
We lost all kinds of players last week and it was a disaster.
I'm taking the Giants.
I'm taking them toe win, You know, They've got to win this thing.
Nighters They're not gonna win.
It's gonna be a rough day on.
I'm gonna go ahead and take the under on the 47 a half A few guys look out for Dairy Slaten.
There's no Richard chairman.
There's no pass rush right now in San Francisco.
So I think Danny Dimes drops back.
And with no Sterling Shepard with no say Kwan Barkley, it's going to be Evan Ingram and Dairy Slaten Show and then the 40 Niners.
Offensively, we're really relying on Nick Mullins to get it done.
You know, he had eight starts a couple of seasons ago on Garoppolo went down with that really good fantasy when he came in a couple of seasons ago, he averages 285 yards a game in his starts, but now that's propped up by a game at 400 something yards and you say something.
Jordan, your PPR you gotta run up.
Reed, you gotta You gotta run him this week.
Um, you know, it's the last week you're gonna get to run him up, I think because it's gonna be Kettle back next week.
So if you have them, you can trade them.
Or if you can get something out of my dealing otherwise started firing up, be ready to drop him on waivers.
Wrong. I've got killed in two leagues.
I'm starting Jordan reading both those and I don't really feel that bad.
Oddly enough, about not having killed this week.
About what? Jake McKenna. Yeah.
So Jake McKinnon brought him up in Week one was kind of like, you know, 40 Niners stand.
You're not a huge fan of Jerick McKinnon in the first place. He's always hurt.
He's always hurt, but by nature of the other running backs being hurt.
Now I think Jerry MacKinnon is gonna feast.
He's gonna have an interesting day.
And if you are picking up people off waivers to play in your flex right now because of injuries, Jerick McKinnon is one of my top targets this week.
Eso Here's the thing.
Jerick McKinnon made some kind of deal with the fantasy gods, and he passed on all of his injuries to everybody else on the roster.
But, yeah, he's definitely worth looking at this week, for sure.
I agree on the under, although I think it's gonna be very close to that.
However, on this one, just this is not any ****ysis other than I think.
The NFC West has four of the best teams in the NFL this year, and it's annoying.
But I don't believe in the Giants without, say, Kwan, even though he was not doing anything.
Um, I'm gonna take the 40 Niners, but I'm not gonna take them to cover $40 by two.
Tennessee at Minnesota, 49 a half over under Tennessee's favored by 2.5.
Give me the younger and I'm gonna take Tennessee to cover I.
I just don't trust Minnesota right now.
I mean, you've got Adam feeling he's good and he'll probably feast today because that Tennessee secondary is not very good.
The front seven is better, so we're going to see a little bit of Dalvin cook.
But it's that that benefit offenses really uneven right now.
I don't trust them to get three scores a t least not three touchdowns.
So I'm gonna take the under Tennessee's offense, though a little bit more reliable. Fire.
John Smith is the breakout tight end of the year.
That's the guy to have right now.
If you have them, you gotta line them up.
BRADMAN, DFS Derrick Henry Man swung and missed big time last week.
Vegas had about 118 or something.
That was the ridiculous over under.
So we were just pounding the table for Derrick Henry last week.
He absolutely killed.
He screwed over the entire family and ripped out our hearts through it on the ground.
But this is another matchup where this is the defense is badly wounded.
They're missing a lot of bodies and they don't have Thanks for the follow on.
They don't have Anthony Barr now to say, lost another piece on defense.
So I'm gonna keep firing up Derrick Henry again.
Not a Derrick Henry fan like Josh Allen.
I think he's got physical tools, but I just never like the player.
But, you know, this is the week for him I think to It's a least the matchup.
Why some paper? It looks great.
I think that you could fire both of these running backs.
I agree with every single thing you just said, especially Cory Davis and Johnny Smith.
Fire those guys up.
I'm really not trying to get anyone on Minnesota, except for maybe feeling and, uh, Dalvin Cook.
But honestly, I would avoid all those guys this week if I could.
You're not gonna be in a lot of situations where you cannot start feeling considering where you drafted them.
But just throwing that out there agree with all the other takes.
Derrick Henry is a cyborg.
Finally starting to see a little bit of Justin Jefferson overtake all of BC Johnson. Thankfully.
So if you drafted him in Dynasty, he may be starting to pay off for you in the upcoming.
Then we talked about that in week one.
He was just he the guy that so I start to the year didn't do great in camp, but he does have the talent to be the wide receiver to on that Jim um, Washington football team at the Cleveland Browns 45 point over under the Browns are favored by a full touchdown at seven points.
That's a big spread.
I'm taking the Washington football team to win.
Give me the W for Washington.
Here's the deal.
Cleveland can beat them on the back half.
You know, Hooper.
You know, whoever else they line up, compete that secondary where you and I might go to run routes against that secondary, However, that front seven is dirty.
It's gonna be a rough day for Nick Chef to be a rough day for Kareem Hunt.
And it'll be a really rough day for Baker Mayfield.
He gets really jittery really quickly.
Be a little bit of pressure on him.
And I think the perimeter chase Young and everyone else on that D line are going to be raining down on him the way they did on Carson Wentz. One.
It's gonna be a repeat of that.
Expects 78 sacks potentially in this matchup for Washington, and they come away with a really close win.
But I don't know that they cover.
It will be a close, low scoring affair.
I worried a little bit about Terry McLaurin on Denzel warden, but we saw what he did.
You know, he still put up points against Darius Slay, albeit only a few.
He crushed Patrick Peterson last week.
I think he's really starting to find his stride.
And he and and Dwayne Haskins have really got the chemistry worked out from college.
Now, man, give me Washington right now, second in the NFC East E I agree with everything You didn't say the over under, though.
O e alright, I agree with everything.
All the betting lines, their group, those takes and only other thing I want to bring up is I think the Chase Young outperforms Myles Garrett today and I think that'll be pretty funny.
So for E, I wouldn't be shocked to see him.
I think a really fun line for prop that's with your friends would be 2.
5 chase young over under on sax.
Everyone takes the under E under And, uh, you might you might be over.
Although three sacks is a huge I love that.
I got a bunch of spots.
Bengals at the Eagles, 47 point over under, and the Eagles are actually favored by 5.
5 I'm gonna take the over, okay? And I'm gonna take the Bengals to win this one. Same.
And so give me Joe Burrow.
I loved what I saw out of him against Cleveland on Thursday night and we two It's not so much that Cleveland's good defensively, like they're okay.
But the fact that he threw a lot of great catchable balls a J.
Green they weren't caught, but he threw great catchable balls.
You know, Tyler Boyd, and things start to get more and more involved here.
I can't believe that they're gonna continue to pepper a J Green of 13 to 15 targets a week if he's only catching three or four.
Meanwhile, Tyler Boyd is catching almost 75% of his balls right now.
They're gonna have to figure that out.
The guy to look at the lefty true sample.
Yeah, I think Drew Sample was awesome.
Play it tight end.
If you're going up that strategy in your leagues, Miles Sanders is probably the chalk start of the week for everyone right now.
Flip side on the other side of the field, Though Fletcher Cox is playing terribly this year, it's really disappointing him.
He's starting, though, but he's gonna be snap count.
Their defensive line is kind of in shambles there.
Barnett has been a huge, huge disappointment.
Hurts me as the ball's fan, Um, but I think that Joe Mixon actually decides that.
And more importantly, their head coach decides that Joe Mixon is a good player and he should be utilized it.
Such I love Joe Mixon this week not to be like a game winner for people, but just to perform at the minimum of what we expected, which we have not gotten so far.
And the other thing for me to I actually would be willing to if we were playing positional start to the week throwing Joe Burrow is my positional started a week this week.
Feel free to Google Geo Bernard's head shot from the Cincinnati Bengals website with his mustache and tell me that guy is not gonna be a heartbreaker, not just for everybody else is out there, but for all of the fantasy owners that have Joe Mixon, because that guy is gonna do just enough to get 8 to 10 touches, and it's gonna completely jack up Joe Mixon.
Joe Mixon is gonna be hyper efficient.
I expect to touch down.
I expect a few catches, plenty of carries blaspheme A I'm sorry, man.
The Bengals office hates us. Sorry.
So you got a few more here? Few more.
So? Chicago, Atlanta 47 point over under Atlanta's favored by three over, neither team complete defense.
I agree with you there.
I'm taking both.
Are you picking Atlanta in Chicago? I'm gonna So here's what I do in these kind of games, right? There is no defense being claimed whatsoever.
He's got the best players who's got the best quarterback.
And give me Matt Ryan for Mitch Stravinsky every day.
Even though even though Julio's out, I don't care, really is going to see a little bit of Fuller on the outside.
I think it's gonna be the Russell Gauge week.
And if you've got Hayden Hurst, it's another great opportunity to fire him up.
This might even be the sneaky chance to fire up Todd Gurley.
You know they're gonna have to do something.
I don't think Calvin Ridley for as good as he is playing to this point, is good enough to go against that Number one lock down corner like Fuller.
Give me Atlanta.
They're still gonna put 400 yards passing.
It's gonna be done through a bunch. Different receivers.
E agree, love Russell Gauge.
This week you could slip them into your DFS lineup.
He's not the cheapest guy, but he's definitely not the most expensive.
Knee is just like a skyrocket for his value right now on the other thing, I bring up his Montgomery is gonna get probably 25 touches in this game.
I would be happy to start him.
Uh, Jimmy Graham, you mentioned him.
I don't care. You could say something.
Eso eso Bears have that pass catchers, right? It's gonna be Alan Robinson.
He's the one Atlanta can't cover Allen Robinson. We know that.
I think Mooney, you know, Darryl money, The other Darnell money.
The other receiver in Chicago, not Anthony Miller.
Mooney is out snapping him, and he's out targeting him right now, and he's also got a better catch rate.
And that's at every level.
Better catch rate on short routes, intermediate routes and deep routes.
So Miller hasn't been playing great Pepper and Jimmy Graham over the middle, where Deon Jones is probably gonna be in a position to rush the quarterback.
He's gonna be putting a spy on the running back.
He'll be pulled away from the middle of the field and I expect Jimmy Graham get a handful of catches.
Maybe he gets you a cheap touchdown.
But if he gets six or seven targets, it's easy to get four or five catches and a touchdown.
You know, I could see that.
That all makes sense to me.
I just don't think Jimmy Grams a good football player, and I'm not saying he's a good football.
But I think that in fantasy, football often comes down to opportunity over skill set. Absolutely.
I agree with both of those, Uh, hot tangent.
Is James Robertson better than Clyde everywhere? No.
Uh, he's playing better than him, but he's not better.
All right, so, 47 I agree.
Take the over on the game.
I'm taking the Falcons.
I'm taking them to cover the spread jets at Indy 43 a half over under and in one of the most disrespectful lines of the year, Indianapolis is favored by 11.
Here's what they didn't consider on the 11.
5 point spread, Philip Rivers is going to turn the ball over.
It doesn't matter who is out there.
He's going to throw an interception thrown interception to the Jets water boy that they're having.
Yeah, he'll figure it out.
Don't even worry about it. Here's the thing.
I'm taking the Colts.
Sure. I'm gonna take the over.
And I don't know.
They're gonna you have given to me cover? Yeah, they're gonna cover.
That's a huge number, but it hurts.
I don't know that I actually put money on that line.
Full disclosure to everybody.
It's that one feels dirty.
I try to avoid any of those that are.
You know, you get north If you're in a let's just put it this way If you're in a partly right now, avoid that line as part of your Yeah, You generally want to stay away from, you know, any kind of spread that puts in north of a touchdown because NFL games were typically pretty close and so an 11 point spreads a lot.
You're talking, you know, three scores effectively, and so that's That's a big number.
But Jonathan Taylor is gonna go run wild today.
Yeah, we really can cover half of this match up fantasy wise by saying, don't start your jets.
Yeah, moving on from that Jonathan Taylor blow up game. I agree.
Look, the Niners did last week, and the Colts old line is better, and then running back is better.
He Heinz don't start him right now, But I don't like I'm not worried about last week.
I still think he's gonna be a situational flex plate.
Yes, you know, lost right now.
Look at your actually look at your league right now because people are stupid.
And if somebody dropped him, pick him up and just sit him on your bench.
Um, if you have deep enough benches, Yeah, if you have deep enough benches and you're not in stupid leaks like the one I'm in, Uh, it's a work league bad wide receiver to though I just wanted to bring up like Zack.
Pascal sounds like he's gonna be the dumbing down taking in three role for Paris Campbell.
But I am curious to see what happens with day.
I'm curious to see what happens with Michael Pittman.
and really kind of what their usage looks like.
So I'm more worried about So you get T Y Hilton Dacian Hamilton's with the Broncos.
You thinking of Dion que eso? Anyway, I do agree.
Exact past was probably the guy, though.
Philip Rivers has shown us unequivocally throughout his entire career.
He wants them to hold the fields.
We talked about it last week.
He wants the slot.
That's why he was targeting Paris.
So much to Campbell got hurt.
Now it's the exact Paschal.
He loves the tight end.
I don't care if it's Jack Doyle, Mohali Cox.
Whoever it is, they're going to get a lot of targets.
They're going to get a lot of targets.
T y Hilton is gonna be left out in the rain if you drafted T.
I'm really sorry. We were advising against in the off season.
Uh, Michael Pittman is the future guy worth having in Dynasty? How are you gonna cheat by and dynasty by mid season? Sure.
Keep him stashed out because it won't be rivers in 2021.
I could see that you don't start nation Hamilton.
He's not in the scale of the Cold War.
I was thinking of Deon Cain.
Good correction there.
But I am curious.
It's gonna be Pascal, at least for now.
But you know that is that I agree with all your takes.
Panthers at the Chargers.
43 a half over under.
It's pretty low in this week.
Chargers air favored by 6.
Okay, And Chargers don't cover Jeff under on the cover or on the spread, and you're taking the Chargers twin Chargers toe win, but they're not gonna cover.
All right, I'm gonna sit pretty with you on each of those takes because I I don't know if I believe enough in either of these teams to disagree with what makes sense to be instinct wise.
Here's what you have to hate.
If you're a Panther, stand right now.
That Chargers team that secondary is dirty.
They have the way they could take away Robby Anderson.
They could take away T j more. They could do it simultaneously.
You have no Christian McCaffrey, which means you're gonna be relying on Ian Thomas, Percy Samuel and Mike Davis and Teddy Bridgewater to be or to help you win.
Eso the charges were looking at that and saying Now we got it.
Uh, Justin Herbert gets the second start.
He looked fantastic against Kansas City e.
He looked really, really good.
This is gonna be the saving grace.
If they come out and they win this game in a convincing fashion, we're gonna be talking about that quarterback controversy starting to pick up a little earlier than expected in L.
Austin Equity is more of a factor again.
I don't think he is with Tyrod Hunter.
Henry is more of a factor again.
He wasn't as much with Tyrod.
You know, Keenan Allen comes back from the dead, but it crushes Mike Williams value.
If you Mike Williams, it really sinks him.
But no, he runs.
I think he's actually a better, more mature version of what Josh Allen was when he came out.
Big, strong passer.
He could move around, but I think he's more refined.
He can throw the ball of more touch and he's a little I want to say quicker to make that decision.
When he drops back, he can identify 12 receivers or and then run.
Allen was a little sketchy with that coming out, but Herbert looked really, really good against the defending Super Bowl champion.
Yeah, I'm really, really curious to see if that can continue, because it is.
It's good to see.
But it's also not uncommon to see players unexpectedly come into games and actually over performed what you would have expected if they were the known starter.
Teams come game playing around Herbert now.
So on and so forth.
Uh, the only other note I would throw in here is I'm okay.
Plane Mike Davis this week in a flex.
But I'm not gonna if I have other options, I'm not gonna try and play him as my running back one or running back to I spent $0 in Fab on Mike Davis this week.
He was everyone's darling to go get.
Jerick McKinnon was the guy to grab this week.
I mean, you know, and I don't even know if that was the case.
While everyone's going nuts for running backs, I went and grabbed wide receivers.
Eso Russell Gauge was a guy.
I got plenty of spots, and he was exceptionally underrated.
I think I grabbed him in one league for $15 guy I picked up in a couple weeks with Deebo.
Samuel report actually came out this morning that he is on track to return week five.
And I'm telling you, the moment that guy comes back, you're gonna wish you had him in your lineup.
Perfect by receiver three with upside.
Um, but Josh Kelley and Eckel er I think you could start by them.
I do not think Kelly is going to get 25 carries or whatever the heck it was last week, but he'll still get his touches on the next game on the three left here in the early day. Slates.
Lions at the Cardinals, 55 a half over under.
Over under right there.
Taking the under for Jeff.
Easy decision right there.
I actually agree with you on that.
And it's not because I don't believe in Arizona.
I don't believe that the lines are gonna get that together.
Even though Kenny G is back, Kenny G is not going to play a full snap share and and, uh, the spread. Sorry.
I got distracted there for a second the spread is 5.
Arizona, uh, already comes back.
He's gonna be on a snap count.
Sure, it is a hamstring injury, so the chances I'm tweaking it is high or retweeting.
I don't love any of the other guys taking Arizona to win.
I take him to cover on a bone, smashing the under.
I just don't think Detroit does very much offensively.
As much as I like him and I think he's a more than capable quarterback, he's no longer the player that can throw the whole team on his back and carry you to victory, especially not against what I would consider to be a superior Cardinals offense.
Yep, I agree with all that.
Like I said all day, happy to have him back if you drafted him.
Um, if you have anyone that's in a general rankings option, that's same places him.
I would still probably not starting this week if I didn't have Teoh guy to keep an eye on in.
This game is going to chase Edmunds something.
You might want to do it, guys, if you're out there and you have, say, Kenyan Drake or if you're in need of a running back keeping on Chase Edmunds, This is a guy that excels in the passing game.
Kenyan Drake has never handled more than I think 150 touches in a game or in a year.
In a year no one's done 100 52 game 150 touches in a year as we get into the late season.
The big thing that always makes a difference in your fantasy leagues is who has the running backs, the wide receivers, the difference makers at the end of the year.
Chase Edmunds is one of those guys that could be one of those potential league winners.
Have him on your radar.
If you can get him in stashing, you should have him put him on your on the bottom of your roster and just let him hang out until Kenyan Drake finally falters or gets are.
Yeah, yeah, I like that.
I think he's a good guy to staff right now.
Um, next game is the Tom Brady Buccaneers and the Denver Broncos.
Bucks were playing at the Broncos.
42 a half over under.
Ducks are favored by six.
I am going to take the under.
Not with Jeff Driskel at the helm.
Drew Lock being hurt.
You know, you've got a banged up a bunch of receivers in Portland.
You know, I just don't believe anybody in that offense is a real difference maker outside to know a fan.
And I don't think he's a difference maker enough to propel the offense, to say 17 points.
I think they're gonna be under seven.
So you're taking the cover you give the box to cover.
I think this is that game we've been waiting for from Tom Brady.
He kind of has the weapons together.
And the thing that I think people would talk about all week is that Tom Brady has a losing record against the Denver Broncos.
It's one of the only teams in the league he has a losing record against in his career, and so that becomes like a It becomes a catalyst for for certain players.
Right when you hear that kind of stuff, it's like, Well, I'm gonna show you and then Tom Brady goes out throws for 305 and three, and Chris Godwin and Mike Evans are back from the dead fantasy wise, I'm into it.
I agree with all of those takes.
Once again, I'm just gonna agree.
So taking the bucks, taking them to cover the spread.
I'm taking the under, Aziz.
Well, I think that put it in perspective for me.
What made me okay with that decision 42 a half points would mean that the bucks, they're gonna have to score over 30.
And you're assuming that the Broncos could get four field goals or a touchdown and two field goals and four field goals by themselves.
Wouldn't even give you what you need, so I just I don't buy it.
Jeff Driskel, if he shows up, does what he needs to do.
No one should be upset with themselves for doubting that situation.
But start all your bucks and then on the Broncos if you're in a pinch.
But this is kind of like the Jets for me last week.
I am not starting anyone until I see a full game of Jeff Driskel on how that office is operating.
But no, a fan with Judy, I think Judy is still a game time decision, according Sutton's Obviously out.
I mean, if Judy's out, fire up.
No, a fan at that point because he's gonna get 15 targets.
I just don't know if they're gonna amount to anything.
Yeah, and they'll be playing their entire defense on him last game.
Game of the week.
This is not because I'm a Seahawks fan, but this is twice in three weeks.
We've had game a week being a Seattle game.
First week it was Seattle.
Atlanta nailed it there.
I mean, that was 100% of the game to watch last week again, it was Seattle and the Patriots wasn't our personal game of the week, but still an incredible game to watch.
And it's starting to boil down to the fact that Russell Wilson is playing out of his mind and their defense is garbage.
And when you look at Dallas, it's the same thing.
Dallas, I've gotta wash down your fandom.
I'm sorry. Well, no hay to poo poo on the Seahawks.
Their defense is terrible.
Their pass rush mannequins have one of my favorite lines I have ever heard from a sports personality.
She said that the Seattle Pass rush is getting less pressure in a motel shower head.
I think that's a perfect way to describe it.
The Pete Carroll John Schneider bargain bin defensive end experiments is a disaster.
Now they're injured to s O in this game.
We actually were looking at it, and we decided we'll get to the spreads in the over under here in a second because it's pretty ridiculous.
But we decided you can't really pick anyone per se to not started this game.
So it's more fun to pick your guys.
So if you're gonna look at this matchup, who's your most valuable fantasy play this week for the Cowboys and who is your most valuable fantasy play this week for Seattle? So now we define valuable looking at, you know, if it's a DFS and I'm like, who is the cheapest guy can go get plug in, give me, You know, give me Donald Shultz.
I'm gonna take the tight end, Your guy, your guy, your guy.
You love Dalton Shelf now.
So here's the thing.
You know full well that Seattle is gonna come out.
They're gonna do everything they can, and they're multiple safety sets even without marquees.
Player to try and get a Marquis Cooper isolated, probably on Griffin, and they're gonna try and double off.
Probably see the lamb over the middle bracket with linebacker Michael Gallup has done nothing this year.
That's gonna leave Zeke and Dalton Shells.
Shells have shown to be reliable, especially near the goal line.
You know, it's not that he's catching big passes downfield.
He's catching 10 12 yard place where he's just stand the Middlefield wide open.
And Dak is good enough to go through the progression.
Get into the open guy, and I think Dalton Shells is gonna be open enough this week to get a few big touches.
I don't disagree, though, but hey, loves stolen e.
Do not dog Schultz with the product of that Prescott liking Titans.
Feel free to go back and watch our Week three video Man, I don't so much crow Dalton Schultz that there's no way for anybody else.
He Oh, no, he really spit in my face on that one.
Uh, I'm gonna go see the Landau.
Here's the thing.
I think the lamb is gonna get bracketed a lot.
I think it'll actually you go marry.
That ends up bringing in extra help on him from the Seattle's nickel coverage packages.
But it doesn't matter.
You saw it last week with the mere bird of all people.
Cam Newton stood back there and, like, could have taken a nap in between the time he got the ball and then made his throne.
Cam Newton is not a guy that goes through his progressions throughout her career.
What I saw in that game last week was Kim Newton playing like he was 2015.
Well, even better than Cam Newton, 2015.
Played, came in 2015 was a hot read and run the ball guy.
I mean, he still played incredible, came in last week.
He didn't have a choice but to go through his progressions because he would have all day to make.
You know what I'm getting at here is e think Amari Cooper.
You start everyone in this game.
That's why it's the game of the week.
Either side of the ball.
Just throw in your lineup, be happy with it, started the Cowboys start all the Seahawks and get them all in there.
But I think CD lamb is the most valuable play, especially DFS wise.
If you're ignoring Dalton Schultz and you're playing a wide receiver in this game for the Cowboys, on the flip side, I'll be first.
Metcalf has the potential.
I said it before the show.
It's a hot take, but I think he has the potential to repeat his performance in the playoffs and have one of those monster weeks where everyone's like, Oh my gosh, this guy might actually be one of the next elite receivers.
The take was so hot, I was wearing a different shirt earlier.
That take was so hot, it actually blew the shirt right off.
So here's my take.
I'm not gonna put money on this happening anywhere, but my instinct is telling me that this is DK's kind of like wake up NFL game.
And, um, part of that has to do with the Cowboys not having anyone in their secondary anymore.
Lock. It's going to be fed.
I know that we talked about before the game, and what's your number one? Why don't you tell everybody you're number one 150 yards and a couple touchdowns for D. K. Metcalf.
I had to redraw these eyebrows on.
You know what's gonna be awesome is if that happens when we do our Monday show.
I am going to be obnoxious about that.
All right, so here's like, but it's a hot take a bold prediction.
I'm a big DK fan.
I still think he might be a year away from being that guy.
Still, there's, you know, one main weapon for us, and that's always been Tyler Lockett.
And as long as he's healthy and on the field, the thing is De que is taking people deep.
He's gonna take away all that coverage over the top and lock.
It's gonna be run around underneath catching passes and running.
Yak is a big part of the game for Seattle.
We're going to see more of it this week.
The Cowboys can't cover anybody in the middle of the field with no Vander s.
You've just got Jaylin Smith now? Yeah, there's no way they just don't have the bodies to keep up, and they're gonna have to bring a Blitzer just to get enough pressure on rush to get the ball out quickly.
So when I'm looking at in the middle of the field should be wide open.
It's gonna Tyler Lockett making a lot of those schoolyard plays and catches a lot of Jack.
I'm expecting, you know, maybe a 10 target game for Tyler Lockett, where he goes well, over 100 yards, scores a touchdown.
You gotta fire him up where you've got him.
And not that I don't love DK, because I do.
But we're not saying like any of these guys are bad plays or we disagree with playing them.
This is just like, for fun.
Like, who are we putting everybody in these in this game from a positional standpoint? I don't care if it's Chris Carson, Zeke, the receivers, the type Greg Olsen like, Yeah, everybody on these two rosters should be finding your starting lineup or should be finding your DFS lineup.
And this is why the over under is 56 a half.
It actually dropped the point because I think it moved because of the bettors.
Used to be 57 a half up until this morning.
Right? And before you even make your take, I'm taking the over.
Yeah, well, I'm taking over time. That you were actually reading.
I think this is Seattle's favored by 5.
5 points. I'm taking the over.
And as the Seahawks and I actually think I'm gonna take Seattle, I'm gonna take them not to govern. Spread.
That's you actually have the same thing I was thinking because this is gonna be close.
I'm expecting this to be a lot like the Cowboys against Atlanta where it's just this giant shootout.
And it wouldn't even surprise me if they got down early by a few scores.
And then they battled back again.
Seattle is just not good defensively.
At least not good enough defensively.
Well, that you're not good enough to hold back an offense like cowboys.
Yeah, that's the I would say, You guys, you're good enough to hold back like the current 40 Niners.
Yeah, we're good enough to hold back the Jets.
Uh, but yeah, this game is they're expecting this game to have less than 60 points.
This might be the highest game of scoring game of the year so far.
It's gonna be awesome.
So anyway, that's the game of the week.
Start everyone just for fun.
Value plays for me.
I'm expecting a big DK play there.
You're expecting Lock it to have the best fantasy game and value for your DFS lineup.
Schultz, I actually agree with, you know, hates me.
It pains me to say that he's a really, really valuable play this weekend, DFS.
But you go back to the Bengals? Yeah, the Bengals game.
Schultz Drew Sample both of those guys.
Not pretty good names.
I would expect both of them have respectable games this week.
CD Lamb is my guy on the cowboys.
You're talking about Schulz.
Start everyone in that game started on and then start to the week this week.
Mine is ruffle gauge.
I think Russell Gauge, with Julio out really is gonna get double covered.
And Matt Ryan just gonna be thinking it off.
Ruffle Gauge again.
You know, I think was a tough one.
So there's a lot of guys that I'm looking at that at that possible start of the week.
You know, I looked at Jordan Reed against the Giants.
E think about Darius Layton going against the 40 Niners.
I was thinking about Schulz and see the lamb.
And as I kind of just kept going through it.
The trouble? I was running into it.
I couldn't find that one guy really wanted to hang my hat on.
So as I look at this, I think what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna go ahead and take the position group of the 40 Niners running backs.
It's gonna be Jerick McKinnon.
It's gonna be Jeff Wilson.
It's gonna be all those guys.
I mean, hoping we see some Jermichael Hasty.
Just pick one, pick one.
You just want to see the kid.
So it's hard to not love McKinnon in this matchup.
The Giants don't offer much up front their front seven.
You know, outside of Blake Martinez is really a little thin.
You know, you got Leonard Williams is good.
You know, Martinez is good.
The rest of those guys, namely a lot to be desired.
So, you know, I guess I'll take McKinnon if I'm really pressed.
But, you know, it was a really tough decision between McKinnon CD Lamb, Dalton Schultz, Jordan Reed e.
There's some low end, low end guys that you didn't draft Draft.
I'm really late That are all great place this week.
Waiver wire snags DFS Laden's I agree.
All for those guys you mentioned, um, hanging our hats on it, though you're hanging your hat on the cannon, which I agree we lose back to what we talked about when we're talking about the game earlier and, uh, Russell Gauge.
I think just by necessity, we had a fantasy question poppin eso let me.
We'll go ahead and hit this one.
I I lost it because, Well, somebody texted May, um Okay, so with Julio out, should I start Russell gauge over t y Hilton or Odell in PPR Julio out.
Russell Gauge or T y Yes, yes, step.
The answer is yes.
Yeah, when you're talking about is the start of the week, Baby, we're taking Russell Gauge when taking over T y Hilton without thinking, because I think t.
Y Hilton just frankly, he's not a wide receiver one or two that we've always e.
I just don't see it.
I think that he's finally falling off the offenses for him anymore.
Um, Odell Beckham is incredible.
We know he's an exceptionally talented player.
Trouble is, he hasn't been great for fantasy in roughly, and he came out last week after the game, and I think it was Wednesday or Thursday this week and was like, Yeah, I don't think I'm gonna have a big season Statistically right He came out to say that he was okay with that, right? And and that's kind of it's counter to the diva wide receiver like, Well, I don't understand what e that as a fantasy fan, but yeah, I don't love it.
I will take Gauge.
Here's like it's hard to settle down, and I don't feel great sitting over because he's still a lock, stock high and wide receiver to like.
There's no reason toe think he's anything less than that.
But Russell gauges a guy right now that's ascending with no Julio and a high output game.
If you're asking me to put one of those my DFS lineup, I'm gonna take Gauge.
So So this is I agree with you.
I'm taking engaged because he's my started week.
However, the way I would approach this decision actually is look at your opponent in that game and if you are playing a guy who looks like he has a stud lineup and you're going to need a ton of points to beat them.
Play wrestle gauge Ifit's like if it's looking like you're already kind of the favorite, I think Odell actually has a higher floor than gauge.
If your opponents started James Robinson on Thursday, you got 30 point advantage.
You go for the upside to take gauge.
Call it a day for sure, for sure.
Um, well, that pretty much wraps everything up.
One of the things I wanted to bring up to those of you that are still tuned in, though we're starting the show around noon everyday, we floated the idea of starting earlier, and I think it combats with a lot of people's pregame watching, getting ready for their games.
So any of you guys that are on right now if you have any thoughts of that, feel free to D.
M s on Twitter or let us know in the chat here just kind of your thoughts we were through floating the idea of actually even starting this at 11 o'clock 11 30 somewhere in that range.
And if that sounds like it would be better for you, let us know, and it's something we're thinking about.
We're here for you.
