What's up, everyone? I'm Kabeer Champ Sport here, starting a new broadcast.
And today I am doing my fifth tennis stream on SportsCastr and my first off to French Open streams.
I will do this weekend, Um, two French Open streams.
I'll do this weekend, and I'm doing one tomorrow, which will be my official to French Open bracket.
Um, and yeah, today, as you can clearly see out the title today is 10 things to look forward to for the 2020 French Open.
So, yeah, this is gonna be fun.
One, this is my French Open is going to start in two days and I really can't wait.
Even though I just had he was open.
I mean, U s open tennis was going on and we just had that.
But we have French open.
What better way to have more tennis in this period? Unfortunately, with Milton's canceled we this will be one of our last tennis major Grand Slams or major titles that will have during the year.
But yes, I can't even way.
This will also be my 11th article on techno hold this specific topic and my and This will be my first technical article about tennis, and this will probably be published tomorrow or Sunday because Sunday starts the French Open.
I might be a bit late, but I'll try to finish it a ZMA much as I can.
Um, honestly, Yeah, that's pretty much Yeah, like just as quickly as possible because I don't want to do this.
Well, this is before the French Open.
Obviously, I'm also extremely, extremely close to 7000 views.
So if you guys can click on even for a second, honestly, second of your time, Uh, it would be much appreciated because if I hit it in these next two streams instead of sparkle Sunday this Sunday, I will do a broadcast about me, explain my seven favorite stream so far that I've done in my 100 That probably be my 112 113 my seven favorites on Sunday and I will be starting a new series on SportsCastr, and I'm not going to spoil it.
You'll find out on Tuesday or Wednesday.
Depends usually, but going might depends this week, but usually be on Tuesdays, So yeah, that was kind of an intro, but yeah, let's just get into it.
2020 French Open.
This will probably go up till, like, 7. 30.
You know, Um, so, yeah, this would be interesting.
Just gonna go like and most of these are like, not even like, answered.
There's just questions.
I think this will be extremely, extremely interesting.
Uh, so this this will be a, um we could just started out right over here, So yeah, let's start off with the first thing and probably the most.
Everybody is questioning this one.
Um, shout a racket girl and Dodger blue stuff for during the broadcast.
Um, give me one second.
I think this thing is echoing.
I think it's salt.
Hopefully, it doesn't echo, but the big question in the really big question.
And this is going to start off at the first question we're gonna probably one thing to look forward to is can dominate team, finally take down Rafa Nadal, the king of clay in Roland Garros this year.
So this is most of these are gonna be questions.
Yeah, and this is gonna be one thing that we're going to find out.
Dominic is just coming off a great a U S Open title.
He just won the US Open, which I'm super happy because dominant teams on favorite tennis player before the US over, just to tell you like, not like a all right. Yeah.
Um, but they have matched up so many times.
And, Rafa, we all know he is the king of play.
He has won this open 12 times, two against the finals on dominant team.
They have matched up in the last two finals, but this year, that's not even possible because they're on the same half off the Josh out to the new followers.
We're counting the followers to 100 followers were extremely close to seven K views and extremely close to 100 followers.
So we're gonna keep counting that up.
Thanks for the new followers.
Much, much, much appreciated.
Um, so, yeah, they've matched up themes.
Been a finalist at Roland Garros two times the last two years, and the dollar's been the champions, so they have matched up.
They've kind of created a little rivalry, especially on this clay surface.
He's really improved his hard court game this year, but he's always been grilled play.
I think he made the semifinals back in 2017 the semi finals in 2060.
So he's really been super super consistent.
However, he has yet to win a grand Slam at Roland Garros and, like he's made the Final Four like four times.
He's never got past the hump be taken down, Rafa.
But in Rafa, though, I think this is possible, though, because an adult proved that he was beatable on clay out of three, he lost in straights tests to Diego Schwartzman back in Rome in the quarterfinals.
Um, and he proved that he is beatable.
Uh, he Yeah, but I think in the five set cir***stance, Rafa on play is almost impossible to be.
But I think if anyone could do it, it's Dominic.
This is his best year as a pro finals at the Australian Open, Grand Slam champion us.
And that can I'm not gonna say.
I think I could bet that he's gonna be make a good run here at Roland Garros.
Um, I feel like he might even be the second guy to look out for behind the dull.
Yes, over a note, Djokovic, because I think he is the guy.
If its dominant, uh is always just been good on clay, this could be the year of half a dozen with Howard.
I'm not gonna say that you will find out my think on the U.
Open, not us French Open bracket tomorrow.
So be sure toe not miss out for that.
Uh, I don't know the time, obviously, but you'll find out like God's blue stuff will find out because, um, I will send the notification Yapa doodles.
Alright, um, now we're gonna go to the second thing, and this is always kind of a thing that we've always seen in Grand slams.
Uh, but yeah, we know Dominic theme has it's going to be a tough battle for him to be, but I think he is anyone who do it.
I do think Rafa is the heavy favorite, though People don't think that just because Rafael lost in room, he is not the favorite.
That just kind of makes you like you.
You do realize this thing, this guy's one this 12 times not even close on its all time record and just not even close.
So the King of Clay, um, he has to be the favorite and any clay tournament he plays it.
But if he the favorite always just doesn't win, I mean, that's always a fact.
The favorite is always doesn't win.
So I think dominant can really, really take Rafa in the semis because they can't match up in the finals this year, which I would really, really like because I like.
I want to see Dominic because I know because I want to see dominant can be rough.
I just want him like that deserves a Grand Slam.
But then you might have to goto no on the other half so it's interesting, right? But the draw is interesting and this is gonna be the first year Nadal and Theme are actually meeting up in the semi's possibly.
We don't know if that will happen.
We don't know if Rafa is losing or Dominic's losing, but I think Dominic definitely has a good chance now a second one and this is a, uh think we've always seen not a specific person noticed one person.
It's what youngster will have a breakout French Open.
We've always had a youngster and play Listen.
The players under age 24 who made the quarter finals in the Grand Slam.
And this goes on.
This goes on even last year, but just 2020.
There's five of them and there's eight.
So there's so far been 16 quarterfinalists, you know, like in both the grandson answers. Eight.
Some of them are the same quarterfinalists, but yeah, Dennis Shop of Olive, Andre Rieu, Blood, Alex Demon are born a torch, and Alexander's Vera, all under the age of 24 have made a quarter final at the Grand Slam this year.
Sasha's there have made a semifinal and the final, so he's without that.
The best I've never name, but we got There's always gonna be a youngster that breaks out, and I don't really, um, you could say, there's always young guy.
There's young guys at the top of the rankings shot of flying out to join the broadcast.
There's young guys at the top of the rankings like Dominic Team Dominic team.
You can still say it's still young email.
You want a Grand Slam? Alexander's Vera Stefanos, 60 plus and Daniel Medvedev, but I think those guys have solidified themselves as superstars.
Um I think they've all made it far in, like one Grand Slam dominance.
11 Alexander's very came to the finals Danielle into the final.
Stefanos, I think, made it to the Finals one.
It's, uh, those guys have solidified that superstars, but we're going to see someone at the lower rankings.
Maybe, like I said, we saw Dennis Andre and born a make career Grand Slam results this year at the US Open.
And they were all really good in the Reagans.
But they had their best grand slam.
So I feel like we'll have someone like that like we almost have someone like that every open.
Um, I think this year is gonna be interesting.
Um, it could be it could be interesting.
I think it could be either of those three.
They all made great runs in Rome and Hammer shot to the new follower.
Flying high, Much appreciated.
Like I said, we're counting the followers to 100 followers.
So once, Um so yeah, that'll one more.
That's much appreciated.
Um, so yeah, I think I think this would be I think this one.
It has to be a person that's really shown on play and all those three I mentioned were great and Roman or Hamburg.
But Andrew Rule is still a semifinalist.
He's still there.
He's still in the competition on Hamburg.
He's a semifinalist there.
Um, Dennis wasn't semifinalists out wrong, I think Born.
I had a pretty good hamburgers. So it's interesting.
Um, but I think one guy that's really been good, and this is like, not the quote.
This is the question.
What? Yeah, I'm sure we'll have a break up French Open.
That's something to look forward to.
This is not like an answer, but I think one guy has been really good.
Is Casper rude right now? He he made Casper rude, made the semifinals at room.
That's a Masters 1000.
Other than a Grand Slam, that's the best Open other than the four major Grand Slams that the Masters, when thousands of the best well, points wise, what costs for the most points? Um, he lost to Novak, which it's hard to be, and, um, and he's still in at Hamburg.
He's a semifinalist.
He's playing roulette at Hamburg, so he has to career best titles on the clay.
Nothing. He could be dangerous at the French Open.
He has beaten Maren Schilit, former Grand Slam champion Baby ofa Nini and Matteo Barry teeny, who have all been top 10 players like Bertie's right now, top 10 player marriage and Grand Slam champion, Fabio has been a top 10 player.
He's being in all of them in the past three weeks.
He's number 30 and he's 21 years old.
Um, he is looking history.
His history could carry on a France.
I think that's one guy you could look out for, one guy.
I also think it's gonna be interesting.
I haven't really seen much of him on clay, but I think I still contrast him.
I do think he'll be great.
All you've seen, um, he's not.
He hasn't had the deep Grand slam like like shadow of all of Rube left and courts who had their deeper Grand Slams.
He hasn't had that yet, but he's still almost at that level just because off how good he's really developed and how young he actually is.
Uh, so, yeah, well, that's one thing to look out for.
What youngster will have a breakout French Open.
So now Let's go in to the third one and three thing to look for, look forward to.
And that is a specific player and a guy that we talked about a bit already in these 12 13 minutes that I've streamed.
And that is about Dennis Shop of Olive.
Will Dennis have Arana? Roland Garros now Roland Garros.
He's been playing great on clay as recently.
He's been playing great on clay, right? He had he made the semifinals at Rome, so that really showed a bit.
That really showed a lot about him that did.
So, Um, but however, he hasn't had the best room he lost in the first round last year, so that that isn't that French Open has not been his best Grand Slam.
Sure, however, his recent Clyde performances could show that he made the quarter finals right now at the US Open.
So he just cracked the top 10.
So he This is one of the best tennis he's ever played in his career, if not the best.
So it's a it's kind of like about time.
Redenius just comes in.
He's still super young, so It's not really about time.
He's 21 years old, so he's like one of the, But I think he's gonna He's going into that superstar status right now.
Dennis is climbing up the rankings.
He's getting far in the titles and he'll be exciting to watch for so many years.
Uh, however he needs to make a run here.
Hey, doesn't need to, but he's probably should, because Roland Garros, his place, his clay has been great.
He he's a great player player, however, not at Roland Garros the past three years.
He's played and yeah, but I think he can.
I think he definitely has the capability issue.
However, he is a very, very tough draw.
Three other young stars, not youngsters.
Young stars are in that same quarter, a quarter 128 right, 128 128 in total total participants recorder.
So out of the 30 to participate.
Therefore, young stars.
You gotta look out for that.
Could not not not all that couldn't even make the quarterfinals, which is kind of crazy, and that he might run into Daniel Medvedev.
Stefanel CityPass and Andre Roadblock are all in his quarter, so he has to plays best tennis.
Those will win those the tough matches, and he already has Jill Simone in his first round, who was former top 10.
He's fifties right now, but you know those veterans, they they still play great.
I think it's 1000 is impossible.
I think he definitely can.
But he has a lot of work cut out for him.
So I think this will be a really good determination.
How Dennis plates on clay and just is how he is, like how good of a player he is.
This will really determine this will really determine Dennis right here.
Even though he's still super young.
This will really be a big grand slam for him.
Shot a June 9382 from during the broadcast, Much appreciated.
All right, so the fourth thing we are talking about, the woman's now.
So, yeah, we are going to go in transition to the womens.
Here were three of them are probably gonna be woman's, but like what I usually talk about the men's I all these three remains.
It can dominate, finally taking out rock on clay.
What young star will have a breakout French Oh youngster Pop. Not really.
Young star youngster will have a break of hearts open.
I was really talking about the men's there and the dentist will.
Will he make a run at the shop of all off? However, it's kind of on the woman's draw, with the defending champion not participating, who will come out on top in the women's draw.
So, yeah, if you don't know Ashleigh Barty, world number one by pretty good margin, has not is not participating this year's French Open.
He she won her Onley grand slam so far, but I definitely can assume there's she'll win Mawr.
Um, she's not playing, and that is that's good for the other field.
But one feels always been open right now, usually with Serena dominating and right now you still know the Big Three are going to dominate.
Even though Dominic has really had a big had a good trajectory to be great.
You still know the big three of the best right? Unless Bedroom just just gets a bit older and doesn't play as well.
But I think right now it's still I still say the big three of the best, but womans feels always really open and who come out here.
Um, we saw Naomi Osaka when her third grand slam.
So and she's like, 23 so she can.
But she is not participating, either.
So, yeah, that actually kind of kind of cut that are even so we'll come out on top.
There's plenty of there's plenty of players that I could name.
I think the top seed, Simona Halep, has a great chance.
Um, she won Rome Karolina Pliskova.
I was not expecting to have a great room like she's been very inconsistent and I haven't heard her.
Haven't seen her. Had a great grand slam.
I think she she won one back in, like 2017 2016 so it's been a while.
But she's always been at the top and she's always a guy.
Ah, person, Uh, a girl that you could always, um, say that she can make a grand slam run.
Um, and then Serena is obviously always chasing for number 24.
She has been on the chase.
She hasn't really had much success at the chase.
Right? Uh, but other people like Lena Svitolina, who has won on the clay service at Rome twice in her young career.
I think she's a very good dark horse toe win this tournament.
She hasn't won a grand Slam yet, but I think she can Um and then Vika, Right? Vika, Victoria Azarenka.
She's made a comeback first.
She got her like first Grand Slam finals in 2012 and she's She's back.
She's back. She never 14 in the world.
He she was two time Grand Slam champion, former number one.
That was a while ago.
She hasn't really won many matches in 2016 so she's bad.
You can definitely expect a lot from her gardening gurus in the great room systems.
It's so open my prediction because I'm not doing a woman's back.
Men's one tomorrow will be there.
My prediction has to go to Simona Halep.
I think this will be a great Grand Slam for her.
She looked really she looked really good at room and she is the top seed and you wish out to the tip.
By the way, thank you so much, much appreciated.
So I think it's so open and I definitely won't be surprised any not anyone takes.
Oh yeah, can't forget about Sofia Kenin.
She's got humiliated because of the bagel.
She lost 6060 through Vika at the Rome, but and she was the higher seed and former Grand Slam champion.
But she's just a guy person you could look out for right now, like the same guy.
That's that's all right, Um, because she's a Grand Slam champion and I think she may have had a good French Open last year.
I don't remember, but yeah, I think it's It's very open, very open.
It's not the fifth one, and probably the most important one is with some fans coming to the stands.
Will it be a safe environment who host and play a grand slam there? That's the big question, right? Um, 50% the fans will be there, which it's still a lot compare.
They have these times of what we're experiencing her day.
That's a lot, right? So, um, will it be safe now? We a lot of, um, all these sports have not really had fans.
We know that the n b a.
The NFL, the MLB have played some cardboard cutouts.
Yeah, so we know that there are no fence.
Um however, French Open is allowing fans.
Now, this is obviously that with the masks and with protection.
Um, they This is a pandemic.
You know what you gotta do? You know what you gotta bring? You know what you gotta wear? Um, but so I think that you make some restrictions that you like.
You have to wear that.
I think they should definitely do that.
Um, but however, I feel like some people aren't gonna follow it.
They won't take this pandemic seriously.
There's always people like that like that.
So But I feel like this would be, um This will be a interesting experiment.
Do I think it'll work? I think e I think almost all the sports have made a way to make it work, and I trust sports.
Now, I trust all the sports organizations right now, right? Like because they've done such an amazing, amazing job.
But I mean, it is a new I mean, they made it work without fans.
Will they make able to make it work with some fans? Who knows? I think it's you can't travel to Paris toe Watch the French Open its local people.
But that's still most of the people that attend Grand Slams up in any way where because they're nearer to it.
Not many people are going to travel from India to New York to watch the U. S.
Open right? That's not really gonna happen a lot.
Often it might, but not very often.
So that will relieve, like, 1%.
So, yeah, I don't know if it'll be, it'll be it'll kind of be feel it will feel a bit normal.
I could say that, but I don't know if it will be safe, but I do trust them, and I do think this will work.
All right, So now the sixth one is actually about a specific person again into another about of another young star.
We've been playing really, really well as recently.
Um, if we're on the men's side here and it's on about Andre Rieu blood and how well and how will he performed on clay now on trade route glove, he is number 12 in the world, right? He's a 22 year old, and he has played his best tennis of his career.
Um, he made the quarter finals of the U.
One thing he hasn't done since 27 Entre ruble have got a name for himself in 2017 By making the quarterfinals, he was like he got upto like he got up to, like top 30 top 20.
Um Then he had injury back in 2018 or 2019 and then he's worked his way up, and now he's at near top 10 level.
So he This is his best tennis of his career.
No question, however, he has never, ever, ever won a match at the French Open.
But he is looking really good on clay on Hamburg.
So it's a pressure thing.
It's not like this is won't be a service.
This is like the pressure, but hit.
Like I said, he's in that tough draw.
Dennis, Is that so? We don't know how he will play.
He could play Danny in the fourth round, which I do think he is beatable.
I think he could be blood on Medvedev on clay.
I think he could do it.
Um, we'll see what I Actually I think he can do it.
You'll see what I think tomorrow tomorrow.
Like I said, Well, I've said that, Um, but he's playing a veteran Sam Query.
Not he's Sam Corea, who I think is still pretty good.
I hadn't having good of us have been lost in the first round.
I haven't been like fourth, so yeah, I was kind of wrong about that.
But I think he's always a tough opponent, since he was, like Pop, 10.
Not not have Top 30 or top 20 in the world at one point, and I don't know about the clay on both friends, but I don't really.
I haven't really know about love at off at the French Open, but I do think it will be something to watch.
He's the guy that keep your eye on on any tournament.
I feel like any tournament.
Any surface entree rule is always a person.
You see him on the draw, you watch out, you watch out.
That's how he's.
That's how good he is.
I think he's extremely good on.
He could be almost anyone, I think, because he is really made a name for himself this past year, all right, the seventh one and this is another one it's avows the guy Sasha's Vera.
And can he make another run at a Grand Slam this time? Not on hard court button, click or well, do I say yes? Well, he's at the same quarter as Raphael Nadol, which, like previously mentioned, is the King of Clay.
So that's going to be interesting, right? Um, but I do think this kid, this kid can do anything.
This guy is has unlimited potential.
He's already a superstar.
Um, he made a Grand Slam final two weeks ago.
He lost up two sets of love, but he has really gained experience and gotten better, even though people were always criticized.
But like this guy can't do it in Grand Slams.
Well, he has lost a dominant team these past two Grand Slams Australian Open semi finals U.
S. Have been finals.
He is still in that same quarter as Dominick.
Same half assed dominant team, though that might be interesting, but so he has to get passed around ****ing on the dog who has played much in Grand Slams.
Uh, can you make another run? I think you could definitely make a quarterfinal run.
I'm betting on it.
I'll say I'll bet on it.
Um, however, can he be Rafa? Because I'm pretty **** confident Rafa Nadal is getting to the quarter finals.
I'll bet on that.
Yeah, I think that I think that's a I think that'll be.
I hardly see Rafa dropping the set to the quarterfinals.
Honestly, um, but can you make a run? He's gotta get past this tough people.
But I think to the quarter finals, which will still be pretty good considering the draw he's in.
I think this would be a good year, but we'll see because sometimes he has kind of struggled.
Um, he kind of struggled.
I think Wimbledon last year.
Yeah, Wimbledon last year was a big struggle for him because he didn't even get past the first round, so we'll see what happens to him.
But I'm pretty confident I have a pretty good French Open because of the way he's playing, The way he's playing, he's made, he's he He started super young.
He's won titles at like 20 but now he's just getting better and better.
Former feature Grand Slam champion for sure will be on clay will be on hardware his first one.
Do I think he could win the French Open this year? No, but I do think he's definitely probably like 1/4 candidate.
I'd say behind Nadal theme and Djokovic Bob behind them is Vera.
I'm taking his Vera.
I think Vera is better than Medvedev.
No, I think that I do think that Vera is better than Medvedev right now.
Yes, there was better than method that right now yeah, all right, the eighth one back into the woman's draw.
And a person that's always just gotten hype in Grand Slams right now because she's one of the more popular players on tour.
Yeah, will cocoa golf make a move on place so similar to the varroa? But will you just make a move now? She had didn't have the best.
Um, she didn't have the best Australia on us Open.
She lost Anastasija Sevastova in the first round.
Um, cocoa has never played a French Open in her life, so I don't really know how good she is gonna play.
But I do know she's good.
She is darn good.
She is 16 years old and She is really good.
However, I don't know the move she's going to make.
She has so Maney 20 years ahead of her 20 years ahead.
She is four years younger than me.
That that just sounds crazy.
She is four years younger than me.
She has so many years ahead of her and she's already been 1/4 round of a Grand Sam two times, two times.
So can she make a move on clay now? I don't She is like Jo Konta in the first round and let me just say prediction out of the water.
She does not wait, I think.
Joe contents experience on clay and she's a top 10 player in the world.
Jo Konta made a comeback, and now she's one of the best.
I don't think I e I don't remember what happened to her in the U.
Open, but she's always a tough person to be, and I don't think Coco could really get past that, so I wouldn't say I would wouldn't count on it, But I do think she she's always she's gonna be a tough person to be.
She beat Naomi Osaka in the Grand Slam, so I think she's always even.
If you're Serena Williams, you better watch out for that.
That kid, because she has endless potential and she's already killer.
So yeah, all right, Number nine.
About a specific match? Um, it is about the first round match.
So we got the draws right.
We got the draws, like last year last year yesterday, and this might be the best first round match I've really seen because it's two Grand Slam championships, multiple times Grand Slam champions going at it.
Two former Roland Garros champion going at it.
We're going to stand by Frank.
15 C versus Andy Murray wild card.
Now that is going to be a fun one.
However, Andy Murray lost pretty early act.
Well, I mean, he did lose to Felix Australia.
Seen who played almost flawless until he got too dominant team.
Um, how this is gonna be a fun one, no matter what.
I think this is gonna be one of the best ones, and this will be one of the more watch once it probably should be on.
All right, So there's center court at Wimbledon.
Rod Laver Arena, Australian Open.
Our garage at the US Open.
What's the fresh I have? No.
What's the French? What's the French big court? I don't have no idea.
But that's probably gonna play on the biggest court because it's just too grand Slam champions.
We see we see dominates, even marriage shows that could be here.
Uh, so, yeah, I think this is going to be a fun.
This is gonna be I think everyone saying like Andy Murray is gonna have that comeback Grand Slam and some people were betting on it now.
But they didn't look at the jobs like Oh, yes, stand in his way.
So something like that, right? So I think Stan is a former Roland Garros champion.
He's a former finalist here, and I do think it won't be a thrashing, but I do think this will be a win for Stan.
It's so I mean, he's not as he is, kind of.
They're both experienced stand system or shape.
Now he's been winning more.
Now, However, I won't be surprised if Andy when so I do think Andy can beat anyone.
Still still can beat anyone.
So can stand, I think.
10 last last but not least on the women's draw.
And this is a one for Victoria Azarenka.
Mika is Vika Azarenka a dark horse at the French Open or a contender? I want to say I can't really answer this for you.
Um, yes, we will wait and see.
She hasn't had a good grand slam in so long.
And then she comes on the U.
Open in beach. Serena Williams.
She almost bagels Elise Mertens and she straight setted she straight setted Oriana sob Alenka.
Who, by the way, it was Thesixties e so But I wouldn't consider that except the Serena.
I would consider that any upset because I know vehicles made a comeback.
