I'm Matt Williamson with yard barker here to talk about the game of the year.
Kansas City Chiefs going to Baltimore to play the Ravens, the two best teams in the league.
I think, by a wide margin right now.
And you know the new playoff rules.
Only one team per conference is going to get the by.
So this game very well could determine that the head to head matchup again.
They're the best two teams in the league.
I think the Ravens were actually playing better than they did last year.
The off season was very strong for them.
Big draft added a lot of guys, and it's showing on the field.
Lamar Jackson's look even better as a passer, I think the Chiefs had a much rougher off season.
There was super champs, of course, and there's a cup for *** showing in their armor.
I'm not that there.
Anyone's crying for Kansas City.
They're phenomenal football team, but they're as through two games.
I think there Ah, little down from last year, a little bit, uh, to elite head coaches.
You know, Andy Reid's coming off the Super Bowl.
He's gonna go to the hall of fame.
I think Harbaugh probably will is, well, they've redone their entire teams around their quarterback.
Very, very smart.
These quarterbacks are ridiculous.
I mean, Patrick Mahomes and Russell Wilson or the best two quarterbacks in the league, Tons of ability.
Lamar Jackson's nipping on their heels.
And, like I said, he's, um, passing the ball better than ever.
You know this year, so they're gonna be ridiculously hard to stop both those players, obviously, the quarterback position.
The style plays interesting to me.
They have a common opponent in the Houston Texans.
And unlike both teams, the Chiefs came out running against Houston and kind of ground them into the ground where the Ravens came out passing against Houston.
And you would think that the opposite is true.
That's their usual styles.
Both worked, and then they put the you know, the Texans away with the running game, particularly Baltimore as the game went on.
But I do think that Baltimore's man coverage corners could disrupt the Chiefs receivers a little bit.
I think the Ravens defense is clearly superior to the chief's defense.
The Chiefs have some playmakers without question, but the Ravens, um, will probably come after my home with a lot of blitz, as they always do and a lot of man coverage.
I do think that the Chiefs will have success with Edwards, Hilaire and especially Kelsey against the Ravens. Young linebackers.
I think that's something to take a you know, take a look at that they might exploit.
But overall, I think the Ravens defense matches up a little bit better against their super high quality opponent this week.
Last thing I wanted to mention is in a game that's probably gonna be very close and a lot of playoff games ahead for these guys.
I just wanted to mention that these two teams have truly elite kickers and maybe it comes down to the kicking game.
Or, I mean, don't be shocked if Tuck, Tucker and Bucker are, um, major weapons in this game.
As I mentioned, I think the Ravens were playing a little better of the two teams right now, so I'm gonna pick them toe win in a very aggressive game.
A lot of coaches, good coaches going for it on fourth downs, Um, trying to keep up with the opponent.
I think it's like 40 to 38 Baltimore ends up winning this thing, but I can't wait.
