What is up, everybody? Welcome to another episode where I break down some of my favorite DFS place.
This is the slate.
A gridiron ratings production.
So thank you for taking time out your day to come hang out with me.
We're gonna talk wide receivers today.
There was a lot of wide receivers to cover.
Um, usually what I do on these channels, if you're new.
First time joining me, I like to pick out four of my favorites.
I usually try to stay away from the top to your guys because obviously, you know, you're gonna wanna put Hopkins in there.
Calvin released playing great.
So I'm not going to state the obvious here.
So let me just get this shared out to my Twitter.
No way will get going.
I'm very excited to talk today.
A lot of injury news to talk about two man.
So many injuries. Week two.
We've obviously talked about that, but there's a lot of wide receivers.
This is a wide receiver episode today.
There's a lot of wide receivers that are not playing.
Unfortunately, they're not practicing.
A lot of them are in doubt.
So let me just, uh, do this real quick and then we will get started with the injury reports.
Hopefully, everyone's excited for Thursday Night Football.
I might talk a little Thursday Night football at the end if I haven't ran over my ah, lot of time, and that will be a lot of fun, too.
I always enjoy talking football in general, so I guess we could go ahead and get started here.
Let's talk about some of the injuries that were kind of going over.
We got the practice reports today.
Michael Thomas did not practice.
Obviously, he was kind of expected to miss a couple weeks.
Davante Adams did not practice as well, and he had that hamstring injury.
They thought that maybe he could, you know, he could practice a little bit or he could have played had the game been a lot closer.
But again, he mistrusted game.
He's limited practice.
I think he's going to go for Sunday.
It wouldn't be too worried about it, but still something to keep an eye on A J. Brown.
Hopefully, we get him back this week as well.
He also missed practice, but I think this precautionary.
I don't know if they're necessarily going to need them this week.
Uh, but you know, he's a fantastic talent, a great fantasy player.
I'd love to see him get out there.
It looks like he's gonna miss.
He had that hamstring injury as well.
I think, actually, in practice after Week one had the big blow up game.
Miss last week doesn't look like he's gonna play this week as well.
Kenny Golladay was limited, Henry Rugs was limited, and tonight D J chart has already been confirmed that he's not playing.
So this could be king and coal situation where maybe we get to see what he is.
He's had a fantastic two weeks.
He's, you know, outpaced chart and every situation of targets receptions, yards and touchdown.
So we'll see if anyone can step up.
Could be a Chris Thompson game a little more out of the backfield.
I'm excited about James Robinson the night.
Like I said, we could talk about that a little later.
If we have some time left over.
I'm really excited about these wide receivers today.
On Tuesday, I talked about quarterbacks.
I was kind of put those out there for you talk about Joe Burrow against Philadelphia? I tweeted out today.
You can follow me at Fantasy Reserve about these negative versus positive game scripts.
I like Joe Burrow versus Miles Sanders this week, right? The Cincinnati Bengals haven't been show that they could stop the run.
I think Miles Sanders is gonna have a really good game in reverse.
I think Joe Burrow is gonna have to be forced to caught up.
And Joe Mixon, I just He's really almost a bench play at this point, if you have the other options because he has not been able to run the ball, Um, and also liked Matt Ryan again this week.
I think you just keep putting them out there for the volume.
Play the yards, air there.
The touchdowns Air kind of flip floppy.
But he had two week 14 last week, so if you could put it all together, I think it's gonna be great.
On the Matthew Stafford of Kenny Golladay does play.
I like Matthew Stafford a lot against Arizona again.
Another positive versus negative game scripts cause I like Kenyan Drake a lot this week.
If I had to pick my number one break out for this week.
I think it's Kenyan Drake, and you can go look at yesterday's episode on my channel, where I broke down the running backs and I talked about Miles Sanders and Kenyan Drake also talked about.
I would A guy actually didn't get a chance to talk to yesterday was Daniel Jones.
He could be sneaky, A little sneaky start.
He's price pretty low.
I think I like 5500.
Um, So those were the four quarterbacks that I went with.
Miles Sanders, Kenyan Drake.
I think I had, like a two for one with Austin Heckler and Joshua Kelly.
Austin echoes working a lot better at 6800 now that Justin Herbert has been confirmed to probably be the starter.
Looks like Tyra is gonna miss at least this week.
And he could probably, you know, take the back seat of Herbert from now one.
But I like Josh Kelley a lot it at a 5000.
He has more carries on the season.
Then, ah, um, Austin Nuclear.
Last week, he paced him out 23 to 19 carries.
He wasn't very efficient, but they were trying to run out the clock and I think they're gonna be up their favorite by us 6.5.
So I think, you know, they could be in a situation where they're running out the clock with Joshua Kelly on the James Conner.
I like what I saw last week.
I think he just kind of had the injury Week one.
And I'm hoping that's all.
Snow was hot, so they were like, Hey, we're gonna We're gonna with Benny Snell.
Then many Snow fumbled in Week one.
Then he fumbled in Week two actually ended the game with negative fantasy points.
So I like James Connor a lot this week against Houston.
We're gonna talk about his teammate as well, so let's go ahead.
I already covered the injuries.
Let's go ahead and get into these wide receiver.
Take a drink, Some of them Tennessee honey today.
Little interesting twist.
One. Something different.
It's okay, you know, you need a good mixture with it, but yeah, so let's let's talk.
White receiver is first up.
I'm gonna talk about his Cooper Cup.
He's priced at 6300.
They're playing buffalo.
It's a 47 point over. Under.
Buffaloes favored by 2.5.
I've been harping about Josh Allen Stefon Diggs these first two weeks.
Guys, I just think you're gonna blow up.
And I was like, Hey, we to Stefon Diggs is gonna have his blow up game.
And I was really happy, you know, to hit on that.
I had him in a lot of lineups.
Um, I think you could seem to see the same situation here right where the Rams may have to be playing behind.
You know, we see this every year.
Whether it's Kyler more your Josh Allen, they just kind of catch fire.
And the team just stays competitive throughout the year.
And it's that miracle season.
We saw the same miracle season last year with Lamar Jackson the year before, it's Patrick Mahomes.
The year before that, I believe it was the Rams when they were, you know, putting up crazy amount of points breaking records.
And so, you know, it could be the Cardinals.
It could very well be the Bills.
They have a very solid team looking at Cooper Cups statistics.
He Week one had five targets for four catches and 40 yards and then week to six targets for five catches in 81 yards.
So you know he's getting the target.
I think the thing that's really encouraging is he's getting 83 80% 86% target or, uh, snap percentages in these first two weeks.
That was the big thing last year, right where they started putting Tyler Higbee and your whatever it out there more.
They were like, Well, you know, he is he going? And they had branded cooks as well.
It's like, Wow, well, he was switching time with Brandon cooks.
Cooper Cup is the definitive one of your one.
Be like, I think Woods is the number one, but Cup is so talented, you know, I think he just plays a different role that it'd be almost disrespectful to quote him as like the number two wide receiver you look.
The last five games from last year snapped percentage wise, 72% 29 93 63 62.
So from those last two games to this year, he's seeing a full 20 plus percent.
He's getting out there close to 90% of snaps here so that I think those worries are gone.
Try Davis White when they're in 11 personnel.
Cooper Cup is gonna go.
You know when? When you're talking about these situations of matchups, I tend not to worry about him too much, but I think her Davis White is going to be on Robert Woods majority of the night.
I just firmly believe in these situations.
Cooper Cup has been slow, has been shown to be a fantastic slot receiver, but that's kind of it, right? He's just a fantastic slot receiver.
So true, Davis White.
I don't see him kind of coming into the middle of the field.
I think they're gonna put Cooper Cup in the middle.
I think Robert Woods will have a down game and they're gonna put at that advantage.
I like the touchdown upside in 2018 Cooper Cups kind of breakout year had six touchdowns last year. He had 10.
He only he doesn't have any so far this year.
I think that's gonna change around a little bit.
Acres is out this week for sure Malcolm Brown is injured.
I don't know how much playing time he's gonna get.
Darryl Henderson looked great, but I don't know what we can expect for this ability.
And they kind of they shut down.
Frank growing the Jets Week one, You know, there there wasn't a ton of expectation there that they were going to be able to do that.
And you look at what they did last week.
It was Miles Gaskins Jordan.
Howard had, like, five for two miles.
Gaskins was okay.
Had, like, I think, like 4.
5 yards per touch, but only had 14 touches.
They didn't do anything on the ground.
They had to throw the ball a lot because I think that's what you have to do against the Bills.
I think the Bills are in a situation to put up points where you're gonna have to throw the ball and your golf is been very good this year.
He's just been setting.
He's been a he's been asked to do a certain thing in this offense, and he has capitalized on it.
And that is a reason why they want against Dallas in Week one and why they want against Philadelphia last week.
I think the Rams, you know, are just in a very good balance situation and Cooper Cook can benefit from that because I think that we understand what those Bills defense is.
But I think they can be beat by that second wide receiver.
And that's why I like Cooper Cup a lot.
And the Bills have.
You know, they put up 27 31 points Offensively, the Bills have, so this could tempt temporarily turn into a shootout situation like That's something I like a lot for Cooper Cup this week.
And if he gets that, I think you could get that touched on this week.
You know, I'm gonna go ahead and call it for where at least you know, one Cooper Cup touchdown.
I think he's gonna end up in that top 12 top 10 wide receiver rank range for you, My second wide receiver that I am rolling with.
I take another ship talking so lot so much makes my mouth dry, ma'am.
Deonte Johnson at 5400 versus Houston I feel like this is a like one of those chalk plays where, like man, he is getting the targets.
He hasn't had that real boom breakout game.
He had a very solid game last week where he had a for 92 in a touchdown.
But juju Smith Schuster.
That's another thing I forgot to mention in a notice.
The beginning is he's limited, and there is a a non opportunity that DeOnte Johnson could be the sole focal point of this offense.
That's a 45 point over under against Houston, Pittsburgh's favorite.
Before I talked yesterday on the podcast, I like James Connor. Ah lot.
But James Connor had a good game last week and Dante Johnson had a good game last week.
And I think this offense is just, so, so well rounded that both of these players can have very good opportunities that Houston can't stop the run.
But Houston is good enough on offense that they're gonna be able to pass.
If they can figure out how to protect DeShaun Watson.
The Pittsburgh Steelers can be beat through the air.
We saw that with Daniel Jones, with Corn like Daniel Jones outside of his one interception that was really bad and another one that was a really good player on the defense apart.
They were putting appoints Darius Layton, my favorite player, Darius Slay, and he put a really good fantasy numbers and Daniel Jones gave you, you know, solid production, not DFS production.
But if you had him in season long, he gave you a really good production.
So if you wanna look at what we have here with Deontay Johnson, he's third in the NFL, tied third in targets, just 23 targets through two games. That's fantastic.
The biggest thing is when I watch him, he has three drops and it's like it almost feels like he should have more. Like Mawr.
Mawr drops right because he has 23 targets.
He has 14 receptions.
But I'm like, Man, I feel like every one of those could be drops.
Maybe it's just a situation that I'm seeing.
I kind of feel the same way about DeMarcus Robinson in Kansas City, where I like to the opportunity and the speed and the kind of the talent.
But it was like, Man, I feel like he drops the ball every time.
But the stats never say he does.
I feel that way with Deontay Johnson.
I think he's a great talent.
I think you still trying to figure stuff out, but I feel like he drops the ball, maybe Mawr than the stats show.
But let's let's look at what Houston has allowed on defense, right? You can run the ball against him.
Clyde Edwards Will there? Torched? UM, Mark Ingram, J K.
Dobbins Ghost Edwards did really well last week, but let's look at what the passing is, right, because that was the reason I like James Conner.
I said, Look, they're not gonna have to pass the ball a lot, but when they do, they're super efficient.
Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson top to your passing quarterbacks in the league right now, but they both completed 75% of their passes.
It was 18 for 24 then 24 for 32.
I believe for Patrick my homes that that is where you're going to end up, you know, winning for Deontay Johnson because they're going to just efficiently run the ball, run the ball, Olo Deontay Johnson's wide open and one on one matchup.
Run the ball. Run the ball.
Oh, look, here we go to back to back plays.
Ben Roethlisberger doesn't need to throw for 300 yards for Deontay Johnson, who could be the number one wide receiver for this team again this week to have a fantastic game, so I like it a lot.
33% target share his 38% of the team's air yards.
That is a really high number that is very good, especially for like the number one target on this team.
Judy just plays in the slot a lot, so of course, Dontae Johnson is going to get those air yards for 38%.
That that is really good and it kind of shows in his in his yards after catch right, The only averages 4.
8 yards after the catch.
But there's a reason for that, and it's because he gets those those deeper targets where it's gonna be kind of like jump ball opportunities.
Or maybe he catches a poster out with a guy like right on his hip.
He's gonna get tackled.
You know you're not going to see that with him.
That's more of a juju thing where you're gonna get the YAC yards.
Dante Johnson is just gonna be that big play guy.
Like I said, 13 for 8 92 last week, you know, he he almost hit that 100 yard threshold of getting that bonus and draftkings.
And I think if he did do that and maybe catch one of these passes like if he had gone 13 targets for 10 catches in 111 yards, he would be a lot more expensive. At 5400.
He is just so worth the price, and that's almost what makes him a chalk play.
But I like the match up a lot for him this week.
Oh, and also Big Ben's back last week.
29 for 41 two touchdowns and both opportunities for Patrick Mahomes.
They both threw three touchdowns of peace.
So and it also helps that Dante Johnson plays the second most slot snaps right behind you.
G right? I Ju Ju owns it by a lot through the first two weeks.
He has 90 slot snaps.
That's really good.
That's what you want you do in the slot.
But Dante Johnson has 27 himself, respectively.
So you know you're averaging 13.
5 per game, and that's where he could get his YAC yards and create an opportunity for himself.
Alright, this is another.
Another two for here.
Another two for one, Um, that I don't know which one you want to go with.
It's basically the same opportunity because their stats are so identical, and it's Tyler Lock in D.
K. Metcalf, D. K.
Metcalf is actually $100 higher.
It's 6500 and then Tyler Lockett at 6400.
It's a 56 point over under.
As of an hour ago, I just had to check in.
Seattle is favored by five.
We saw that Prescott throw for 400 like what, 50 yards week to Z only had 96 yards like, but he had 96 efficient yards.
We see what Russell Wilson is doing, how he's, you know, playing out of his mind.
His touchdown percentage is gonna be, like close to the 10% by the end of the year.
It's freaking insane, but let's look at what Dallas has allowed for the number one wide receiver on the team.
And I believe I don't know which one I want to go with, right, like that's what I'm trying to figure out.
So I think you're gonna want about 50 50 split on these guys, Robert, because it's almost exact opposite Robert Woods and why I lean.
Robert Woods Week 16 for one of five no touchdowns with six for one of five.
Last week, they played the Falcons Calvin Ridley seven for 109 and two touchdowns.
And so the wide receiver for the number one wide receiver, which I think they come better to Tiger. Lock it.
I would put, you know, D K.
Metcalf more big play guy closer to Julio Jones.
They're allowing these opportunities.
And so I'm leaning more Tyler Lockett just for the opportunity to get the high target volume, although that's not always true.
If you look at the first you know, two weeks D.
Eight targets for receptions, 95 yards and a touchdown.
Six targets for receptions, 92 yards and touchdown.
So he's your big play guy.
These are the guys that if he can get higher efficiency targets and not have those drives like he did in Week one, you're gonna be like, Wow, that's really great.
Tyler Lockett, eight targets, eight receptions for 92 yards, eight reception or eight targets.
Seven receptions, 67 yards and a touchdown.
So they're like right there, right like 14 and 16 targets apiece.
95 90 to 92 67 respectively.
For the both of them, you look at their total like points.
K. Metcalf has 19.5, 19.2.
Tyler Lockett 9.
So I'm just telling you that one of these wide receivers is probably going to have a blow up week because of the over under and because of the matchup in Dallas plays decent.
They played decently.
Well, I guess, against the run.
Todd Gurley couldn't do anything last week.
He was 21 for 61 no touchdowns, but Todd Gurley also looks very bad.
And then Malcolm Brown.
He had 18 for 79.
He had those two touchdowns, right? And I talked about that last week.
Why, like Tyler Higbee so much Malcolm Brown didn't really do anything last week, Be the week before he had the two touchdowns on one and two yard line.
I was like those could easily be Tyler Higbee touchdown passes.
And then, of course, uh, that 4.
5 yards per carry.
I just I think that you're going to see an opportunity for Dallas has shut down Chris Carson, Carlos Side because I haven't looked the best Chris Carson.
Actually, if he doesn't get these catches, which you know that that's easy to say.
If he doesn't perform getting these catches, but like he has not done anything on the ground.
And I think if I had him in any of my read rallies, I would be moving him a sap because I just don't think that's sustainable.
But I like Russell Wilson a lot.
You look at what he's been able to do for the first couple weeks.
He's 31 for 35 3 22 and four touchdowns and then 21 for 28 to 88 5 touchdowns.
You just ride it out, man.
You put Russell Wilson and if you're doing like the D EFS, the $3 buying for $100,000 to first place and you have 20 lineups and you're like I want Russell Wilson and six of my lineups stack them three with Tyler lockets that three D.
Metcalf because one of these guys is gonna blow, they're both gonna have I think solid games.
But one of these guys have the opportunity like we've seen with Robert wasn't counting, really.
Someone is going to blow up, and I just I don't know which one it is, but I wanna make sure that I make the same case or both of them, that they're they're identical.
Right? Became at CAF is the big play guy title lock.
It is the higher efficiency, while his catch percentage for D.
K Metcalf maybe closer to 50% Tyler Lockett makes that up for a higher percentage of his of his targets being caught.
And then the yards, you know, and the touchdowns air, kind of where they offset.
So again, two guys that I really like to swing against.
Dallas talking, talking, talking both.
It's a lot easier when I get a co host up here and I can alternate the talking.
My fourth and final guys that I'm talking about.
These guys are like my own land guys, I have another four that I like for this week that I had, and I choose the best for that.
I think they're just gonna be my my going off players of the week It's Terry MacLaurin and I know he already went off last week, but I think we're about to see a repeat of him and his talent, and I think he's gonna take off his priced at 5900, He's playing Cleveland.
They're at a It's a decent 44 a half over under.
Cleveland's actually favored by seven.
I think the NFL in Vegas and in the draft.
They were very impressed with that running game and I think we saw the Ravens.
They are as good as we think they are.
E think that's just what we that's what they're probably going with that wow, the rounds, actually, on a bad team.
They just faced a Ravens team that is so **** good that you can't fault them for for getting blown out the way they did.
You can't a little bit, but obviously the odds makers were like, you know, Cleveland actually really good and the washing football team is probably another year away and if they had a good quarterback, they would definitely be up there.
Cleveland vs running backs Mark Ingram 10 for 29 at 2.
9 yards per carry J.
Dobbins seven for 22 at 3.
1 yards per carry.
They shut down that running game that outside of Lamar Jackson.
They shut down that running game week one last week on Thursday Night Football.
If you saw it, Joe Mixon, 16 for 46 2.
9 yards per carry.
They can shut down the run.
And, of course, that's what they're gonna wanna do, right? Like they have this this new gadget back here in Antonio Gibson, who I think can be a sneaky play.
But he needs the passing opportunity because I don't think he's gonna get it on the ground.
This is why I think Terry McLaurin has the opportunity they're going to be behind.
They're not going to be able to run the ball, and you're like, Well, yeah, Dwayne Haskins.
I totally get it.
I'm not sold in on Dwayne Haskins, either, but let's look at what he's done the first two weeks.
17 for 31 for 178 week one against Philadelphia, one touchdown, no interceptions.
We two played Arizona.
Arizona has a pretty ascending defense.
He took a lot of ***.
I will fault him for that.
You know, he took sacks that opens of line.
Couldn't protect on the way that he wanted to heal the ball too long.
19 for 33 to 23 in a touchdown.
So Dwayne Haskins, who was still a first round pick, I think he was picked in the top 15.
I can remember when the Redskins took him.
He's still a quality quarterback.
Is he taught 15? Probably not.
Is he taught 25 ish? Yeah, and I think you know when you're getting you have a very, you know, saturated top half of all these good quarterbacks don't have a bunch of middling quarterbacks.
He could have a very Andy Dalton ish career, but Andy Dalton still supported the number one wide receiver A. J. Green.
And that's where you have a guy like Terry McLaurin, where he's not on a good offense.
But he has a so so quarterback who could still put ups in some decent production.
I believe the Browns the last two weeks.
Week one 2025 for two Lamar Jackson three passing touchdowns for 285 yards last week, 37 61 316 yards and three touchdowns to Joe Burrow so that their weaknesses the passing opportunity.
I wish I I just remember this.
I wish I looked it up before I started the stream.
I don't know if greedy Williams is gonna be playing.
It's the other cornerback that's on the office out there, you know, covering the number one corners.
I don't know if he's playing.
I'll have to double check that.
But we've seen what Terry McCord could be now for.
This is the second season, and he has that big blow up.
Came right is a 26.
33% of the team's air yards.
He's getting the big play opportunities and he's averaging 9.
8 yards after the catch.
So he's getting the air yards and he's getting the yak, so that just means that when you see those two staff right there, that's just telling me he's getting the ball deep and he's getting the ball underneath there, just getting the ball with their best playmaker's hands at 26.
That is a great opportunity, like I said he had a breakout game last weekend.
10 targets, fantastic seven receptions, 125 yards and a touchdown.
When he had a so so game and it wasn't that great, it was still five catches for 61 yards.
So he still is a great player.
That is getting enough opportunity for him to have a blow up game against Cleveland when they're gonna probably be behind and Cleveland stops the run.
Oh, I like Karen McLaren around.
It took me a while to get around to my got on to him about the end of last year, and I was like, Okay, yeah, this guy is kind of good.
I wasn't on a little bit this offseason, but it's just so fun to watch These players that kind of, you know, are under drafted where they should have been, had a great college production at Ohio State and then comes in and it is just dominant is a true one.
Number one wide receiver from the beginning.
So let's go over some of my other favorites, Um, real quick.
Then I'll talk a little Thursday night football.
If you guys don't care just to kind of go over what I'm looking at for my teams and what you guys you know should be looking at for waivers for next week, cause a lot of you can pick up waivers once these Thursday night games get played.
Can't pick him up till next week.
I like Chris Godwin again this week.
He's coming back from the injury that was a concussion, so there's no soft, soft tissue possibilities of re aggravation.
A 67 100 versus Denver is actually $100 less than Mike Evans.
I liked Juju a lot last week for the reason that Corey Davis, Week one against for other Titans against Denver, has breakout game.
Brown was out because he had all this snaps from the slot and I said, Look, Judy plays the slot all the time, he's gonna have a break out game and you did okay.
He had seven, um, had seven targets, and then he had 48 yards.
He just didn't have the opportunity to get in the end zone like he did with one of those two touchdowns, and he didn't have the opportunity to have that big breakaway player to stack on an extra 40 yards on there, but there's an opportunity, you know, A J.
But like I said, he's been out.
He's gonna be on the I R for another two weeks.
He was on there last week, so he's gone for two more weeks and there are very susceptible to the slot they play.
Dese can't even say they played decently against the run because obviously, uh, Derrick Henry had a pretty good game Week one, and then Benny Snell, um, are James Connor, you know, torched him up a little bit, but I still think there's some opportunity there for Chris Godwin.
I don't know what to make up the Leonard Fournette Ronald Jones situation.
We're have to wait and see.
They could be splitting opportunities, and maybe no one gets in a rhythm.
We see a good Chris got one week.
I like Odell Beckham as well.
On this one is more of a Kenyan Drake against the Washington football team last week, A guy thinks I have a big Logan had 20 touches, 20 rushing attempts on Lee, 86 yards.
So the Washington football team is a very solid front seven.
It's where they get be deep against mobile quarterbacks is what's hurting them.
You look at what they did Week one against Boston.
Scott, who had nine for 35 yards, didn't do anything, and then Clerk comment had six for 19.
So they, they haven't played like the elite of the elite in Arizona was tearing him up through the air.
But all they have shown is that they could stop the run.
And so that's why I like Odell Beckham that if there's an opportunity that they do stop shop and Hunt.
Odell had almost had a breakout game, and if he doesn't get that holding the non holding call that was against him on the Thursday Night Football game against Cincinnati.
He has over 110 yards and he has two touchdowns and we're like Oh, Odell Beckham his back.
It was a very quiet, subtle breakout game.
I think he had six receptions for 74 yards and a touchdown.
I said it should have been a lot more by the by the end of the game that could run the ball at will against Cincinnati and so they didn't even need to throw total back home but the game has a chance to be competitive.
And so I think, Odell, I'm willing.
As long as this price stays down at 6300, I'm completely willing to throw my money at that Adam feeling at 6900.
This is like your big wide receiver play.
He's averaging eight targets per game.
Kirk Cousins look absolutely dreadful last week, but they played Tennessee, who has allowed 339 passing yards and 216 passing yards.
And it's 260 passing yards were from Drew Lock.
So I mean, take that for what you will.
They do allow a little bit through the air versus on the ground, and then another guy that I like is e feel like I feel bad talking about it, but it's very Slaten like, obviously, that's my guy, you know, favorite player guy, and I'm probably gonna have a reason to put him in every week.
But he's priced at 4900 versus San Francisco.
Sterling Schober got put on the i R for turf toe.
Richard Sherman is not gonna play.
They have no Nick Bosa.
They have no Salomon Thomas.
I believe is the other guy.
Those guys were gon DeForest Buckner is no longer there.
He is with the Indianapolis Colts and Sink when Barkley is gone and he's gonna be Devante Freeman and Dion Lewis.
And when Goldman and we don't know if this running game is even gonna be that, be that good, because obviously wasn't against the Steelers.
And I still think San Francisco is a decent enough defense to stop the run.
So there could be some opportunity for Darius Latent.
Have some big plays.
I said that the 40 Niners back code is almost a trap play this week because I don't think you know who you're going to get.
Half people are saying to me, Jeff Wilson, half of our saying Jerick McKinnon.
But you know, if they do figure it out and they have a decent game with Nick Mullins and Jordan Reed, they're gonna be playing from behind.
And then that's where you got Darius Layton on these big play opportunities and we saw a weak one.
They a lot of big play opportunities, even with everybody healthy.
Thio, DeAndre Hopkins like that was very good for them and then who did they just say they played.
Last week they played Washington and Terry McLaurin.
Oh, he had a big blow up game.
So the evidence is there that they allow, you know, these big play wide receivers to, you know, do what they do best.
That's getting the end zone.
And that's made big plays.
And that's why I like Darius late a lot.
I'm I'm really just trying not to make the excuse for him because I like him so much.
But if you go to my page and search to the gridiron ratings page, you know, I wrote an article about Daniel Jones and very slightly and slightly being this big breakout guy because he has the real boom games that you get from like I almost compared to Tyree kill.
In a way, he's not as fast and not as athletic.
But when he when he booms, it's like two touchdown games.
He has 42 touchdown games in his last, like 16 games that he's play because he got injured a little bit last year.
So that's why I like dairy Slaten, Um, if you came in a little later.
Supercup vs Buffalo Deonte Johnson versus Houston on that I like both of the Seahawks wide receivers lock in D.
Metcalf versus Dallas and then Terry McLaurin and some of these other guys were guys that I'm I'm pairing in putting in my lineup.
Let me look and see.
I'm and there's not a whole lot of you here in the chat, but I just, you know, there's always a good conversation to have.
Can you even put Leo Jones? You know, he's limited this week.
He's, you know, limited in practice from the hamstring injury from last year.
But can you? Even even if he's healthy, he's playing Sunday? Can you even put him in your lineup versus Chicago? Like with that, you're gonna be beneficial.
You know? He's priced at the second wide receiver at 7400.
I'm probably fading Thio.
I don't know if there's gonna be a situation later this year where I'm gonna be like wanting to put Julio Jones back into my line up.
I'd rather put Russell gauging at 5100, you know, take his teammate because Russell gauges getting the underneath stuff.
He averages less yards per target unless yards per reception, but at least the volume there is guaranteed.
And, you know, while I'm down here, I'm looking at some of the guys that you could probably start.
You can probably sneak in. Maybe Golden State.
I don't like putting Golden State and he's 54 or 4500, has a high floor and they're like I said, there is an opportunity for him to have a big game.
He does do that every now and then when he gets eight receptions at 100 yards and a touchdown, I wouldn't be against that.
And then one guy we need to keep an eye on is, uh, de Sean Jackson.
I think this is the week like he's going to have a blow up week either this week or next week.
Jalen Raiders out with the UCL.
They play Cincinnati.
Like I said, I love the running game for Cincinnati, but they're not just going to run the ball 60 times, right, like they're gonna have to throw.
And we saw the big play opportunities for Odell Beckham last Thursday.
I don't think you can just fix that in one week, especially with the guy you know DeSean Jackson Speed, who's like top top six fastest wide receiver in the NFL.
I think he's priced at 53 5200.
Sean Jackson is so well, good luck to everybody night in their fantasy games.
I don't think I'm gonna talk too much about too much about the Thursday night football game.
All I have to say is watch killing Coal.
Watched James Robinson see how he plays.
See if he looks like the real deal.
Because if he's the real deal, maybe he's someone you target in Dynasty if you think he has some long term value.
I've seen a lot of people you know, trays up on my Twitter feed of, you know, getting offers for 21 seconds and people like, yeah, random, 21 seconds.
I'll take that for James Robison all day.
There's no guarantee that he's gonna be the starter, you know, going into the 2021 season.
