What's up? New bs.
All right, so Oh, hold on a second.
Like my bad guys.
I forgot to do something really quick.
Excuse me a second own.
I just had to open the program real quick.
I forgot about it.
Okay. There we go.
All right, guys.
What sub nubes I am Joe knew Bo.
And as you can see above me, Ravens win 26 to 13.
Baltimore takes the game over the Green Bay Packers in preseason week to, um, quite a few things to talk about. For sure.
I did write some stuff down because as you guys know, I would totally forget everything if I didn't write anything down, as I have been drinking a little bit.
So that's just that's just how it is, Man, if you guys were in the pregame stream, you already know I don't even know how many beers I am in.
So anyway, let's let's go ahead and get to my notes, because I know I have some some stuff to talk about.
So, um, starting at the top of the game the beginning of the game, Mark Ingram, he was the workhorse running back that I expected him to be.
He had some nice runs in between the tackles.
You know, He just seemed pretty shifty, pretty elusive.
He you know, he got some extra yardage here and there.
I definitely enjoyed what I saw from Mark Ingram.
I think that he was pretty much what we're expecting him to be, what we signed them to be, which is a workhorse running back.
And for him to really get the bulk of the carries.
And I think he looked really good in that role.
And, ah, I think we're going to see more of that in the regular season.
So really happy to see that, Um, the defense had 1/4 down stop early on, I believe against a Sean Kaiser and Ah, and you know, pretty much the Packers starting offense as we know that Aaron Rodgers did not play because he had some back tightness, which I think was actually stomach tightness.
He just didn't want to say because he was too scared toe play against the Ravens defense.
But anyway, um, so, yeah, but as a whole, the defense, I think, played really well.
I think we only gave up a touchdown.
Uh, and of course, the two field goals.
The touchdown was given up by Anthony A Brit.
I believe, uh, I'm not sure the receiver was I completely forgot about that.
But I I remember that it was favorite on the play and, you know, he just kind of got caught up, man.
He ah, you know, he was a step too late, and they threw the ball right over him, and it was a touchdown.
So J nail shadow to you, brother.
That was a horrible calling.
The lamar touchdown that got called back. Oh, yeah.
Let's talk about that real quick, guys, Um, before I move on to what I have on my list that Lamar Jackson run.
My God, I'm pretty sure everybody by now has seen it.
Even if you weren't watching the game, you have to have seen it on social media.
It's been posted everywhere.
Uh, that Lamar Jack Jackson run was just absolutely crazy.
You just forget, especially us as ravens fans.
You just forget how insane Lamar Jackson can actually be.
Especially with this feet, uh, passing wise.
I think he did pretty well, I believe.
Let me let me pull up the statue all quick, but I think he wants something like six of 10 for 58 yards or something like that.
I'm trying to stall right now as they pull up the stats, so Okay, here we go.
Six of 10 58 yards, no touchdowns, no interceptions.
I think he made some pretty decent plays.
There were some that I was kind of like, you know, you could probably do better on that, but yeah, of course, that running play was just absolutely phenomenal.
We like Like I said, we know he's capable of doing with his feet.
We saw that today.
It just seemed like, you know, what? Might as well just run it for a first down and he'll he damn near got that touchdown.
He should have gotten that touchdown.
But of course, that called by the riff was just absolutely ridiculous.
I don't know, man.
I didn't see it.
But again, maybe it's just my Ravens bias that I don't think it should have been a flag.
I think they should have let that touchdown go, because that was just an incredible play by Lamar and I would have liked to see it hold up.
But aside from that man, I think Lamar played pretty well.
Um, definitely has some stuff to clean up.
I think he knows that.
Ah, he definitely did not look that happy after when he got off the field by his performance, he seemed like he was pretty, you know, um, upset about his performance, but I think he did pretty well.
Uh, you know, again, I still think that this offense that we were seeing today was very vanilla.
It's not gonna be like the offense that we're actually playing come week one. I think so.
So for all those reasons, you know, I think he did pretty well.
But aside from that, let me, um let me pull up some other stats here.
Trace McSorley went eight for 13 74 yards and a touchdown and a kn interception, so his touchdown was pretty nice.
I think that was the touchdown strike to Chris Moore.
Um, that was an interesting play that I just didn't think that he was gonna make that throw up when I saw that I'm like, wow, that was a nice throat.
That was like right? It was a perfect throw, right? So But then he who come back and you see the interception from Trace McSorley and and people and the announcers.
Actually, the announcers were over here blaming Miles Boykin for that interception, and I just did not see that at all.
I saw that it was totally on Trace.
I think he forced it to Boykin.
I don't think that he was open.
I don't think it was a good read.
Um, and he just kind of forced it in there.
And obviously, you know, Boykin wasn't able to make the play because he was covered.
So I thought that interception was on McSorley even though the announcers were saying that it was on Miles Boykin.
But yeah, that's just my opinion.
Um, aside from that, I think he played pretty decently.
I think you know it.
Sze about what we expect from him pretty much what we saw last week.
You know that he's a little bit inconsistent, but he also is capable of making some nice throws in some nice place.
So rushing wise, we have Justice Hill leading the way with 10 carries, 49 yards and a touchdown.
He had some nice place men.
That touchdown was very nice.
I'm actually I was actually very surprised by the power that he showed.
Because you just think of Justice Hill as the speedy, shifty, you know, elusive quick running back, which he is.
But he also has some power to him.
So I think that he has the capability capability to be like, Ah, three down, back from what we're seeing.
I mean, I didn't really focus too much on his blocking game.
That's something I'll have to check out.
But you know, he's a weapon as a receiver.
He's a weapon in the backfield, uh, running the ball.
He has some power to him.
I I definitely enjoy what I saw from justice.
Still, today he looked very good.
Eso Aside from that Kenneth Dixon, you know, he got hurt today.
What do you expect? That's just what happens When he had the ball in his hand.
City, he was okay. He was pretty decent.
I talked about him earlier.
He looked really good.
Dylan's Turner had some nice place for sure.
Shadow to ah, Coach Evans.
I know he likes to Lance Turner or he? Ah, they I think they went to the same school or something like that.
Shout out to coach, um, Chris Moore had a good game.
Four receptions, 54 yards and a touchdown.
Of course, the touchdown pass was from Trace McSorley and Chris Moore.
He's definitely impressed me this preseason.
I think he's he's looked really good.
Um, I was actually surprised by by how good he's looking, how good he's been looking in the preseason.
Hopefully, he can continue doing that in the regular season because, you know, we just we just can't have any more drops.
But aside from that, Chris Moore actually played really well.
I don't think there was any time that I was like, pissed off it.
Chris Moore. I'm like, Come on, Chris.
Like like another games, which has been a lot, Um, Antoine Wesley had a couple good catches, two receptions, 43 yards.
I love to see that.
I hope he can continue doing that.
Jalil Scott, as well, had a pretty nice catch.
Nick Boyle tried to do that hurdle over the defender.
This guy, that's his go to move men.
That's what I was saying on Twitter.
Willie Snead had that nice play Tyler Ervin, and that's pretty much it from the receiving part, Um, Joe Patrick or card.
He had that fumble recovery, but also he had himself a game and I was joking.
It's like Patrick the refrigerator a card.
You might as well call this guy the mini fridge, not only because of his body type, but also because he's a mini fridge.
He's like the mini, uh, you know, the refrigerator.
I believe right from the Bears old school player there.
Um, so he's the mini fridge. Patrick Ricard.
So but yeah, he had a great game today, both as a fullback.
He had some some some conversions to get the first down for us, and also he made some places, the defensive tackle.
So that's just crazy to see, because he was one of the players that I actually thought was going to get cut.
And ah, if he just keeps having these games, then I think we're gonna have to keep him.
So no interceptions today, kind of disappointing, but I mean as a whole, I think the defense played really well on Lee gave up 13 points as a whole.
Ah, really? Not much you can complain about.
I just wish I could see more turn turnovers because you guys know I love turnovers.
I love defensive place.
Uh, it's a shame to see Chris board get hurt now that we're talking about the defense.
He went into concussion protocol, and I think he was ruled that he had a concussion.
So it looks like he's not gonna be playing for the rest of the preseason.
So unfortunately, I think that takes him out of the running for the starting linebacking spot.
And I think we're going to see Kenny Young step in there.
Um, but we did see some some of the younger guys, like some of the undrafted linebackers, step up in that role.
Which is cool to see.
We saw Tara Lakha who I've kind of talked about this.
Ah, you know, before the preseason started, He's looking looking pretty good.
He kind of got shook it up a little bit there, but he you know, when he came back in, he actually looked pretty good, Made some nice tackles.
Like I always mentioned, he reminds me of a CJ Mosley type and obviously not as good as CJ Mosley.
But he just has that place style of a thumper style line back.
So, you know, glad to see it.
Um, aside from that mad Jude on had a pretty good game.
It is his birthday today, so, you know, he kind of had to show out.
It was, you know, he had he had to make something happen today and he had a good game.
So good to see that Humphrey had a pretty decent game as well. He had a deflection.
I believe if I'm not mistaken.
Aside from that, um, you know, just a good, good overall game from the defense.
I mean, I don't want to say it was underwhelmed, but I just would have liked to see more place happen.
I think we played a solid game on defense, but I definitely think that we can play better as a whole week in just cause.
More turnovers cause more trouble.
Um, there's a lot more that we can do is a defense, I believe.
But I definitely think that, you know, we look good.
You know, we look good.
I'm just being a little too.
My expectations are really high.
Justin Tucker was phenomenal for for 4 52 yard was his long two for two in extra points.
So shut up to the guys that were saying that Justin Tucker has lost a step.
Well, I think that shows you that he has not.
He is still the best kicker in the league.
Yes, I said that.
Um, And aside from that, nobody really stood out for me on kickoff and punt returns.
And, um, let me see if I have anything else written down.
I talked a little bit about him.
Makes Art McSorley with that nice touchdown past him.
We talked about that.
Justice Hill being super quick and super shifty and so fast he just gets through the tackles.
He gets through the the defenders so quick, man, like one second, you'll see him right here.
And then all of a sudden he's over there. It's like cheese.
He just flashes, man, it's crazy.
But yeah, he's he's he's definitely fun to watch.
Ah, and I talked about the trace McSorley interception as well So I think that about covers the guys.
Thank you all so much for joining my postgame stream.

It was a good game.

Really happy about that.
And next week we got a good test, a big test against the Philadelphia Eagles who are a very good team.
And I'm gonna be talking about that upcoming here in the next week.
