Zeer past nature was going on a journey.
Boy Ray in Welcome to my little show here on D P.
And I hope that my wife eyes working better today and you guys were getting the full stream.
There is no simulcast on YouTube anymore.
I don't have the band with toe handle it and I'm just I've given you two, but not freebies.
If you want to see the stream, you've got to come over here.
You gotta chill out with me here on sportscaster.
So I am here on sportscasters Sunday through Thursday at 10 p.m.
Eastern Time outs.
Dupri in post games here for all New England Patriots game, including the preseason.
Ah, this is a Patriot Stream for Patriot fans.
Batou Bah content as well original content and exclusive content every Friday and Saturday.
Here's the lineup for today.
I'm going to talk about the Patriots injury woes that they're going through.
I'm gonna talk a little bit about why the Patriots defense will be so special this year.
I'm gonna talk about why I love being a Patriots fan, and if there's time and you guys are questions, will do a quick chat at the end.
Um, but first, before I really began.
Welcome back to the party, Mr Dontrelle Inman.
It's good to have you.
Ah, Inman had a hell of a day at joint practice today.
He's taking full advantage of everybody else's injuries and making the most out of his opportunity, which is what a player's got to do when they're in the next man up role.
Ah, he absolutely torched Malcolm Butler on a plate today on a one on one for a touchdown.
Ah, he scored another touchdown, which is a beautiful throw by Tom Brady in a beautiful catch by Inman.
And Emin is back in the hunt trying to make his name to our put his name in the hat to make this roster.
If he hasn't, you know, waited too long.
Ah, anyways, there England Patriots.
We'll never been hit by the injury bug this offseason.
More specifically, it has really affected the past.
Can catchers on the Patriots? Um, in my opinion, it's better that it is hit now so everybody can heal up and be ready for the season to go.
Let it happen during training camp.
This, to me is the best time for that.
You're lucky because most of the injuries that have come out have been very manageable now.
The New England pages were very fortunate last season because they didn't have to deal with many significant injuries, and anything that really happened was cleared up.
By the time the postseason came along and all the running backs were back, there was really only where they had a lot of significant injury, very different in 2017 when the Patriots lost some very prominent role players on their team.
Obviously, we lost Julian Edelman for the entire season after got hurt in the preseason.
Ah, we lost Dante.
How High Tower for most of the year, and we lost in 2017.
Marcus Cannon was the Patriots best offense alignment until he was injured.
And when the Super Bowl came around, you really saw guys like Mr February not there and guys like Adelman not there.
And you know, it's in the fact that Brady got beat on the right side.
That could have been a Marcus Cannon stop.
So it is what it is this year.
Besides Adam Butler, who left.
I don't have it in my notes here because it happened after I prepared A probably should have done a better job.
But Adam, by the left field today, it's mainly, though, been affecting the Patriots wide receivers in the tight ends.
Ah, but the really good news is, is that nothing seems overly significance.
Let's just really run through what the Patriots are dealing with right now.
So you got Julian Edelman, who's dealing with a thumb injury.
He's been on the pop lists since training camp started has yet the practice of New England Patriots all indication is that he's gonna be ready to go by the start of the season.
There's been a bright side, though, to Julian Edelman's injury, because it has opened the door for other receivers like Jacoby Meyers and Maurice Harris and even Braxton Barrios to really get their reps in.
Julian Edelman is the Patriots best receiver in the team leader, and I honestly believe that if this was Week 10 Edelman would be playing right now.
But it's training camp.
The patrons have decided to stay cautious.
Uh, nobody knows how to play with Tom Brady better than Julian Edelman.
So at this point time, I see absolutely zero reason to rush settlement back until he's absolutely have, until you absolutely have to.
Now the millions Thomas and Camera married it.
They're both on the pup list, and it's my belief on I got no sources.
I got no inside track.
It's just my belief he will not be returning or neither of them will be.
Ah, starting this season, they will start the season on the pup list.
Ah, that would mean that both guys would be eligible to return of the Patriots.
And I get our after Week six and I could see Bill Ballot Shack using them, sort of as the ultimate insurance policy.
Um, if the Patriots are struggling in the passing game or there's an injury then married than ever built, Belichick is trying to replace on the roster Now.
One guy that's injured is Nick Eel.
Actually, he originally injured himself before the preseason game against Detroit Lines and anybody who watched my pregame for that game.
I talked about how I don't want to see the keel Harry on the field.
Belichick didn't listen to me again.
Ah, he played three snaps, made two catches and after making an absolute spectacular catch.
You got a blimp ing that was pulled from the game.
Um, but sources close to Harry have said that the injury is minor and he should be good to go soon.
And I'm really hopeful that he will be because I don't think I'm alone when I say that I have high hopes for McKeel Harry and they I think that they just need to let him heal and get better.
I understand he needs his raps.
Understand that he's a rookie. I understand.
The more he can play with the team, the better he can be.
But I think at this point you just want to make sure he can heal now.
The Patriots tight and Matt Lacoste had a pretty impressive Vince.
You finish the game with two catches for 37 yards.
5 yards per catch, and he was starting to look like he could do a fine enough job with the Patriots in there.
What has now been many attempts to replace Rob Gronkowski? Unfortunately, after you know playing very well, he goes to ground, was attended by the medical staff and we really haven't heard much since.
All we know is that it's a lower body injury.
People with sources have claimed that they know that it's not a serious injury.
But the person who specifically told me this, I don't consider them credible.
So at this time, we really don't know what's going on with Matt Lacoste.
We just know he's not practicing.
Um, the Patriots are deep at the wide receiver position.
It's tight end in that tight and spot.
That actually worries me because that's where we're a little thin.
So it's a little concerning, and I guess I'm just really hoping that it's nothing serious.
Another guy on the same day that I made an entire stream in an entire YouTube video saying that he's a lock to make the roster, goes down with an injury.
Philip Door set after making a spectacular catch off Tom Brady.
What's with the New England Patriots receivers getting injured after making spectacular catches? Eyes appeared to have entered his thumb.
Now, obviously, finger issues are a problem for wide receivers, thumb issues or problems for wide receivers.
But a lot of guys can play through it unless it's like, really severely mangled and broken Um, Dorset is only one of two returning wide receivers to the patrons this year, and, I believe again, very much like Julian Edelman.
If this was weak, 12 week 13 Phillip Dorsett would be playing.
His familiarity with the offense will be important to getting Tom Brady going when he's looking for a bailout.
Um, and I think the Patriots just being cautious with all other players during the preseason is very important.
Um, so, yeah, I don't have much more, um, now somebody who I know a lot of Pats Nation has to be disappointed about.
Maurice Harris also left practice yesterday.
Now it's unclear right now what he's suffering with another, some rumors jumping around and some people claim to know.
The fact of the matter is, we really don't know what's going on with Marie's Harris.
Last time we really saw him, he was on and me on the sideline with his cleats off, so I have to assume it's something to do with his leg or his foot.
Harris was emerging very early on and camp as almost a roster lock.
How good he was playing.
Um, you know, over the last week he started dropping some some passes, almost very catchable and what we would consider crucial passes, both in practice.
In the preseason game, he dropped what I think we're two touchdown passes.
I know he was kind of pass interfered on both of them, but he could have made the catch is, And he dropped the wide open past that Tom Brady through to him during camp on a flea flicker, and he was wide open down the field.
And so for me, it's Harris needs to be on the field.
Being on the field is very important as he fights for a spot, especially with guys like Dontrelle Inman coming through.
Jacoby Meyers coming through Broxton burials now, having great practices.
Marie's Harris is not the favorite now that everybody thought he was to make this team, and he needs to get back on the feet because he needs the fight for that spot, trying to secure yourself on this 53 man roster.
At the end of the day, guys, every team in the NFL deals with injuries.
I mean, I think Philadelphia is no backup quarterbacks left, you know.
Every team deals with injuries over the years.
The Patriots have been very resilient getting over this and the next man up culture has cultivated guys and cultivated a culture that players step up when they need to.
It's almost a mentality now, of like one man's injury leads to another man.
And when you're looking at the current injuries of the painters have right now.
Like I said, I'm happy that they're happening now and not a week 10.
And I'm optimistic.
I'm not just hopeful.
I'm optimistic, hopeful on whatever you wanna call it.
I think almost everybody on this team is going to be ready for the season.
So there is no threat right now to the New England Patriots.
At least in my humble opinion.
Ladies and gentlemen, before you go on, let's all remember, can we please support some hardcore Patriot fans? Everybody in the New England area and Patriot fans from all over glowed and support RTW media and the spy king during the tattoo party.
He'll be joined by Fitzy and the Patriots Silver Bullet on August 22nd at six strings before the game.
The party starts at 3:30 p.m.
And they will be there for the entire duration of the preseason game against the Panthers.
Go see the unveiling of the new Super Bowl 54 Tattoo.
And remember, it's not a prediction.
Makes you guys go check it out.
I mean, anybody who's willing to put a championship tattoo on their body for the rest of their lives before the season starts.
I've got absolutely, positively no issue with that whatsoever.
Now I want to talk a little bit about the Patriots defense and just how special this defense is gonna look this year.
So the Patriots, the nfl dot com Adam Shan he recently ranked the top nine defense is in the NFL.
He ranked the Patriots as Thesixties best defense in the NFL, and I'll be honest with you guys being ranked at the top, you know, near the top of the top 10 of the middle of the pack of the top 10. It is exciting.
It's very exciting.
But I did walk away from that article a little disappointed because I truly believe and I don't care what the margin is.
I don't care what the difference is.
I truly believe that the Patriots are by far a top five defense, and I want to talk a little bit now about some of the changes of Bill Belichick made and how we're going to see the Patriots really perform like a Top five defense.
Now, Ballack check is shaking things up with his defensive line to start.
He's moving away from his preferred, at least over the last few seasons.
And he's changing to a 34 and he's going to allow the Patriots most skilled defensive lineman to spend more time on the field.
Okay, so the line now is not gonna be watered down with rotational guys.
It's gonna be the Patriots best players on the field all the time.
We can expect a steady diet of Lawrence guy Adam Butler, Michael Bennett.
You know the possible rotation, guys.
Dietrich's wise is fighting for a spot, but he could be a Danny Shelton chase win.
A bitch will be there. Mike Canal.
There's a lot of people out there that are doubting the Patriots pass rush.
There's prominent Patriots fans and video makers and streamers that doubt the Patriots pass rush this season.
But when you're executing your best offensive line with the linebacking corps that the Patriots have running a 34 gets past Rush will be the most improved part of the Patriots game this season.
And speaking of that absolutely fantastic linebacking corps I could remember was gulps linebacking corps.
I love the Patriots linebackers, seeing the name's Dante, High Tower, Kyle that Noite, Jamie Collins, Landon Roberts, Brandon Kinks.
Even the hybrid sort of defensive and slash linebackers Derrick Rivers in Chile. Calhoun.
It just gets me pumped up to think about it.
Since his return of the patron has been an absolute beast, he's better than the Jamie Collins was here before he's again, the Patriots best athlete.
We know what we're gonna get out of High Tower and Vanoy Landon Roberts is a legit and I mean a legit pass.
You try to emphasize a point.
Ah, legit run stopper in the NFL, one of the best to do it, and I'm gonna be interested to see the competition for that hybrid spot.
Do Shaw, Leak and Derek both make the team do Is one of them the hybrid guy? How do they work with them? It's going to be fun to watch them compete.
Ultimately, though, the New England Patriots are gonna have a top three line back in court in the league.
I will stake my reputation on that.
They will have a top three line back in court in the National Football League Now, obviously, last year the patriotssecondary was the position of strength from expect that to carry all the way through the 2019 season.
You still got the stuff on Gilmore's on the team who looked like he was in full form throat the entire training camp.
He's been a lock down ever since.
Midway through 2017 his 10 year with the Patriots started a very, very rough, and he's just been locked down.
He's never looked back since about halfway through that season.
Last year, we saw the marble attack undrafted free agent and J.
Jackson, who came out against the Minnesota Vikings and stuck just took the starting quarterback position and never look back.
Even with Jonathan Jones, who's having a phenomenal training camp, J.
Jackson is gonna be that number two opposite of stuff on Gilmore.
And they will be what I've been saying that since since December.
But you heard it here.
First, Gilmore will be the best quarterback tandem in the NFL.
Jones and Jason McCord E They're both battling for the starting slot corner position right now, and at this point, it doesn't matter who comes in at number one who comes in at number two.
It really doesn't matter because they will rotate, though both those guys in and out, and they will have legit slot Corner's coming in and out of the game.
Fresh slot corner's coming out of the game, guys.
That would be starters on any other team in the NFL are gonna be rotating with each other.
But of course, you have that season.
It's gonna be out there doing their thing.
If Devon McCord and Patrick Chung there's a reason that they were elected as defensive captains, and you add in Diran Harmon and that safety crew is really the backbone of the New England Patriots defense.
The Patriots identity is changing their not your grandfather's defense.
It's not the the offense, you know, 10 years Tom Brady and the offense will no longer have to carry this team like they did in the past, and that's what I love about it.
This is going to be the most balanced team in the Brady Belichick era that I remember.
This could be the best defense I have ever watched the Patriots play.
Now I've been a fan of the team saying, Say the mid 90.
So I know that those seventies and eighties defense's were really good.
But I'm telling you right now, from my eyes, this could be the best defense the Patriots ever have.
And I'm a defensive guy.
I loved the old school guys.
I love William again.
It's Teddy Bruschi, Richard Seymour, Rodney Harrison, Lawyer Milloy.
I'm a defiant and Vince Will four.
I am a defensive guy, so I love defense, and I love those early two thousands.
And, yes, Brady had a big part do those championships.
But believe me, that defense had more to do with Brady back then.
And I'm telling you right now, this defense could be better than that team.
That's how good they are.
And I will invite any offense in the National Football League to try to compete against his defense.
Even the Little wonder boy Patrick Mahomes.
He's not gonna know what to do.
This defense is here.
It's gonna be a completely different look.
People are gonna watch tape and tape and tape on the page it from all of last year, and it's gonna be a completely different look than they've seen in the past.
I know that talking about the defense gets boring after a while because it's all I talk about because I love defense.
But they're gonna be special.
I promise you, they're going to be special.
I want to finish off on a couple of different notes here.
I want to talk a little bit about being a New England Patriot fan and why I love being a New England agent.
Last night I'm cruising Twitter and ah, I see this kind of message from this random guy that never met before, saying, I want to start a Patriots chat.
Who's in? I say I'm in, and for like the first couple of minutes, it's just him and I in this chat, right? It's like a meeting, a new friend kind of thing.
And so I throw out a feeler to other my other Twitter followers and bubble bubble block, and next thing I know, there's like 20 of us in the chat and there's, like 30 of us, and it just keeps growing.
And I'm telling you, the people I connect with Patriot fans from all over the world.
India all over the United States, South America.
I have people, you know in South America that are that common on my YouTube page all the time from Colombia in Brazil.
And I got a guy who messaged me on Twitter, frequently asking me questions from Saudi Arabia from Saudi Arabia.
That's how far Pats Nation stretches across the globe.
I am getting messages from the Middle East, and we all know what the stereotype is well paid.
Your fans were arrogant.
We are entitled obnoxious.
Some people call it assholes.
I wear that badge with honor.
You know, sometimes I go on my YouTube page and you know, and I'll probably do it on Sports Caster here now that I'm on here, you know, all the time.
But back when I was just exclusively on YouTube, I would come out and say things like, guarantee of victory or, you know, last year I guaranteed the Patriots winning the Super Bowl back in March, right before the draft and Patriot fans got mad at me that I was jinxing the team.
I had people saying, This is why people don't like Patriot fans.
People like you because you're arrogant.
You need to be humble in the last 20 years.
Tell me what the New England Patriots have done that.
I need to be humble.
I don't need to be got six.
Let's cheat again.
And I know I know People hate when I say that, but I'm sick of fighting the cheating thing. You thought we cheated.
I will keep again.
Insert irrelevant team here.
Who's gonna end the Patriots dynasty never happens.
Jacksonville was going to do it.
Philly apparently did it.
Kansas City was handing out things last year.
They were gonna end it.
How many different teams going to step up to the plate and end the Patriots dynasty just for it never to happen.
And I gotta be humble Patriot fans.
We went through years of a relevance, and now I got a relevant fanbases like the cheese chiefs and their one sided rivalry because, you know, we're full.
We're focused on the Steelers t a F C East, the Ravens, the teams that we hate for some reason, the chief, the Chiefs think we have a rivalry with their wonder boy. Pretty boy.
Sounds like Kermit the Frog flexing at the Patriots Chiefs Fans are coming out and flexing at the defending Super Bowl champions.
I love love being a Patriots fan, and I will be arrogant day.
This team goes on 1 16 But as long as we have Bill Bala, check Tom Brady, Julian Edelman, Dont'a, Hightower and so on and so on and so on.
I'm gonna be just as arrogant as I was back in 2000 and two when we won our first Super Bowl.
4 4005 Just is arrogant, and I hope you guys will be, too.
I hope you guys will be just as Braga licious is.
I'm being right now because it is good being a Patriot fan.
There's a lot of things to like about this Patriots team.
We have the greatest quarterback to ever play the game.
The greatest coach ever coached a game, a team full of guys that just loves to approve the world wrong over and over again, and we got six rings in, like, 20 years.
Wanna touch Bond? I got a YouTube comment today, and it was and correlation of something I said last night on Sportscaster and I was talking about how I don't like to make predictions about players.
And I said that Number one, I don't think I'm not smart and, you know, for two I don't like being wrong.
And he told me, You know, just a little bit of criticism.
He says it be more professional if you didn't take shots at yourself and, you know, don't talk about you being wrong.
I thought to myself, I don't want to be more professional.
I don't pretend to be professional.
I'm not one of these video makers or the streamers or or Twitter eggs that run around pretending.
I'm a social worker in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
I have no press credentials, Nothing.
I'm just a Patriots fan.
I'm just a Patriots fan who loves to talk about the Patriots.
So I'm gonna make mistakes, and I think making mistakes insane, stupid things, because I'm a fan is what makes what I do here on sportscaster with the other streamers on sportscaster.
Do what other video makers who understand their fans and not journalists.
It it's the purity of what we do.
If I was a journalist, I wouldn't be coming out here and acting is home Mauritian to the Patriots as I am.
I would come out here and try to be objective and try to be this.
But if you watch my videos, you know, 99.
9% of the times, I'm gonna come out here and I'm gonna praise the Patriots.
Bill Belichick is laid an orphanage on fire, and I would try to figure out a way to blame it on the Jets.
No report is gonna do that.
A reporter's gonna try to crucify Bill Bell attack.
So that's why that's why I admit, when I'm wrong.
That's why I say I'm stupid.
Sometimes I say stupid things because we're fans.
Every fan says stupid things, and I hope that that's what you guys appreciate about me that you understand that I don't think I'm I Look, I love sportscaster.
I think that sport and I'm pointing my computer screen you guys can't see, but I love sports caster.
I think that sportscaster is the future of all sports video making.
I think you're gonna see a lot of people from you to come over here.
Why? Guys like Richard Sherman are involved in doing streams.
Okay, This place is like YouTube have not embraced the sports culture like sports caster has.
And I love being here.
I love that he invited me to come here, but I stream on sportscaster, you know what I mean? I stream on sportscaster and I was asked to come here as a Patriots fan and a Patriot Channel talking about the New England Patriots because I'm not a professional journalist.
I would work for ESPN or Fox News or one of those places.
So that's why that's why I don't come out here and pretend that's why I make fun of myself, because we make fun of ourselves fans.
That's why sometimes i come out here and I say things I know nothing about.
And it's all right, cause I read comments I get on YouTube and Twitter, Man, you guys are my Twitter scribes, YouTube scribes.
Sometimes you guys send me things that are stupid to make no sense. We're fans.
Sports is entertainment.
I consider myself an entertainer more than I consider myself a journalist.
I want you guys to be entertained.
If you're not entertained, you're not gonna be watching me.
I just happen to be an entertainer that loves the New England Patriots.
But I'm not a journalist, and that's why I'm gonna make fun of myself.
But I appreciated your comment.
I understood you're looking out for me.
I'm not trashing you.
I understand you're looking out from You were trying to build my reputation, but I ruined my reputation a long time ago.
I've been doing this since 2017 on YouTube and, ah, you know, I've been streaming for 20 you know, since 2017.
I'm going on two and 1/2 almost three years now, and I ruin my reputation as a professional broadcaster.
When I first started this channel, I tried to be a professional and I wanted to be a part of the sports media and it was an altar.
I called it alternative media because it's through social media and I wasn't enjoying myself and everybody remembers my hiatus when my boy kissed the rings came after me last August.
I didn't have it in me to fight.
I wasn't happy. It was miserable.
I quit YouTube forever for a month.
I said I'd be a good bye that I won't be coming back to YouTube.
And I think two weeks later I was on my new channel in two weeks.
After that, I was back on dear Pats Nation, now called DPM.
Patriots talk, and I would love to do this.
I would love to come talk about the Patriot full time.
I would love to be here full time talking about the New England Patriots, but not as a journalist, as a fan, talking about the single Patriot as an entertainer talking about the Patriots.
Because when I came back in November, October November, when I came back and started doing videos again, I waas.
I didn't want to go back to always.
I don't want to go back is appear news channel where you come to get all your Patriots news.
I wanted you guys have seen me who I was because I I always acted humble before I acted, you know, like a professional reporter, and I talked with a deeper voice.
And I didn't I didn't talk like that, but you guys get what I'm saying.
And I wanted you guys to know who I was as a person.
I wanted you guys understand that I'm just a stupid fan like everybody else, and I'm gonna say stupid things and I'm gonna own it.
I'm gonna own my stupidity.
I own all of my stupidity.
Because when Don Troll Inman doesn't make the team this year, I'm still going to standby.
Dontrelle Inman should have made the team, you know, that's it.
So I wanted to address it, and that went way longer than I thought it was going to, but I But I love it.
I love sports Caster. I hope nobody.
He thought that I was taking a shot at sportscaster because I wasn't.
And I think that I'm here because and I have a following because I'm authentic because that's what people are looking for.
Look, you want to offend, you want people who are authentic, you want fake and a lot of sports video makers are fake.
And I love sportscaster because you watch it, man.
And these guys aren't fake.
These air fans just like the rest of us who are just pumping out stuff all the time.
And with that being said, guys, thank you so much for everybody who tuned into the stream tonight.
I really appreciate it.
If you're watching the replay and you're here Thank you for watching all 32 minutes on me.
I hope my wife I worked better tonight, not simulcasting on YouTube over getting come find me on sportscasters Sunday through Thursday at 10 p.m. Eastern Time.
