And on this Tuesday night, I bring to you Game three of the Western Conference finals between the one seed Los Angeles Lakers and the two seed Denver Nuggets.
Thanks everyone for tuning in tonight from the ESPN wide world of Sports complex in Orlando, Florida It's a must win pretty much for Denver, the Denver Nuggets tonight as they trail the Siri's to nothing, thanks to a buzzer beater in Game two by Anthony Davis to put the Lakers up to nothing in the Western Conference finals.
As we take a look at the MBA playoff bracket, we're down to the Final Four teams out East.
It's Miami with a 21 Siri's lead over Boston.
Game four of that Siri's.
Tomorrow night, I'll be on the call for that game as well.
I'm Samuel Reese.
I hope you guys are having a wonderful, uh Tuesday and we get to wrap the day up with what should be, I think, a great game tonight in game number three of the Western Conference finals.
As we have learned that the Denver Nuggets are no team that's going to go away easily.
They've both of the first two in each of the first two rounds.
They came back from 31 down to win those two respective Siri's.
They're down two out of the Lakers in this Siri's.
They know how crucial this game is, and I you know, I bet that Michael Malone and this Denver team are looking at the positives from that game.
I mean, after all, they really should have won it.
They lost on a buzzer beater and heartbreaking fashion.
By the way, the Lakers, 43 1 Siri's record all time when leading to nothing is the case here.
A choose nothing serious lead for the Lakers.
As we're set for Game three, let's get to the starting lineups for Los Angeles.
They go with LeBron James, contagious, Caldwell, Pope, JaVale McGee, Danny Green and Anthony Davis.
Meanwhile, for the quote on quote home team in the Denver Nuggets tonight, it's Jamal Murray, Gary Harris, Nicole Yokich, Jeremy Grant and Paul Millsap making up the starting lineup for the Nuggets.
Thank you, Roger for joining the broadcast.
Tip off shortly after nine local time or underway from Orlando? Or are we not quite yet? Yeah, we are.
Although we had a illegal touch, thereby Nicola Yokich on the tip, apparently.
And so the Lakers inbound from half court.
We're officially underway.
It's LeBron James for L. A.
He finds Davis, who was the hero in game to the Fail A no good.
And it's Paul Millsap with the rebounds with the rebound.
Excuse me, Millsap to Yokich, to the corner with Grant, who just misses the three.
Nicola Yokich was an absolute force in Game two for Denver.
He gave it everything on the floor.
Unfortunately for Denver, it was not enough as they came up short.
Yokich had all 12 Denver points, though, in the final five minutes of that game.
Anthony Davis at all 10 points for the Lakers in the final five minutes as Davis turns the corner and is fouled by Jeremy Grant.
Two free throws coming up for a D, and he'll try toe score the first point of this game as it's the first trip to the line for either team.
So, as I said the last five minutes, for the Lakers.
Anthony Davis had 10 points in game to the rest of the team.
Didn't have any in those last five minutes.
Davis shot three for three, the rest of the team over six.
It was all Davis in clutch time, and he came up huge as he hits the first free throw.
Here comes the second free throw attempt from Anthony Davis and that one no good.
So one to nothing lead for the Lakers.
Paul Millsap with it for Denver.
Millsap to Jamal Murray Murray into the lane.

The Lakers With their first points off of a turnover as Murray dancing his way through the Lakers defense and a foul committed by McGee on the floor, the Denver Nuggets have struggled.
When it comes to transition defense, the Lakers have really punished them in transition.
And that's something the Nuggets will need to improve upon.
Millsap out to the top of the key with Yokich, Yokich puts up the three.
LeBron James with the rebound two minutes in the game.
Three here on SportsCastr James pulls up and connects from the left elbow.
Ah, six point lead for the Lakers.

Up 10 7 now Lakers by three they'll swing along the perimeter. Caldwell.
Pope drives baseline now out toe.
McGee with the basket.
The Lakers are clicking on offense right now.

Pope puts it in off the glass.
Davis to James four minutes in to Game three.
Now it's back to Anthony Davis, Jesus, guarded by Millsap, and it's stolen by the Nuggets.
Jamal Murray pulls up from three in and out, and now a battle.
He got his own rebound behind the back pass.
Millsap back out off of the reflection Grant with the three point make.
What a bizarre sequence.
But the results in Denver tying up the game with the Jeremy Grant triple here is Danny Green down to the baseline, his pass deflected by Gary Harris but controlled by a D six on the shot clock.
Anthony Davis swings into the corner green.
The Caldwell Pope LeBron James. The Open.

Here is LeBron James Caldwell.
Pope, now right along the perimeter, gets it to Danny Green, who lobs it up off the backboard but controlled by James James in the corner.
Davis the three, No, but LeBron with the offensive board again and Davis drops the hammer back in the lead are the Los Angeles Lakers second chance opportunities on multiple rebounds, and the Lakers take advantage.
Thanks for the popcorn, Lee.
So much appreciate it as Murray looks to split the defense.
LeBron James was all over it, but cannot keep it in.
It'll be Denver ball after the time out.
First stoppage in the action.
6 21 left in the first.

Paul Millsap, in Game two against the Lakers, had six points on two of six shooting.
Five rebounds is He knocks that one down now looks to make it two for two as LeBron James reenters for the Lakers.
We'll make what.
And here comes now.

One and it's turned over by the Joker, okay, just couldn't quite finish the play.
He was putting on some good moves on Davis just didn't look to where he was passing Davis. The fadeaway.
No good but a foul on the play.
And so Anthony Davis to the stripe for a pair of free throws as we take a look at the replay of this one.

He's working within the Lakers.
No, they have a legit shot at winning the N B A Finals this year.
That's what they brought LeBron James and Anthony Davis into Dio.
But the Denver Nuggets are not gonna make it easy.
Despite it to nothing seriously for the Lakers, the Nuggets are going to compete to the very end.
Here is Jamal Murray Murray into the lane looking for room and denied, but a foul called against Mark Chief Morris.
Oh, man, I thought it in real time that Morris got all ball.

Looks to me like all ball.
Did he get him on the hand a little bit? Perhaps.
I am not sure, but definitely a questionable decision.
And Jamal Murray does step to the free throw line here just 15 seconds into the second quarter.
First free throw is good was soon.

They lead it by 15.
What a start to the quarter.
Another time out by the Lakers.
I'm back after the break, All right, Welcome back into the broadcast, everybody.
The Denver Nuggets really looking smooth on offense, hitting shots from all over the place, and the Lakers with no response to try to slow them down a 44 29 lead for Denver, 8 53 to go in the opening half.

Now it's Paul Millsap guarding him.

First free throw rattles in for Green Game Four of this Siri's will be on Thursday.
It's every other day throughout this.

Caruso allotted high for LeBron James James, guarded by Craig backing his way in LeBron James.
Double team shot clock. Winding down.
IK finds Caruso in the corner of the three point shot.

Here is Jamal Murray Murray working the moves on Caruso, now picked up by James in the corner.
Jamal Murray into the lane tries to swing into the corner, and it's tipped away by Caruso.
It's still Denver ball.
Remain now on the shot clock.
14 point advantage for the Nuggets, down to zero in the Siri's inbounded by Monte Morris to Jamal Murray spin around three.
It's off the side of the backboard and eventually went over the backboard out of bounds, a rushed shot with the shot clock winding down and a bad decision in the end.
I mean, there was still a little bit of time left for Murray, but it's turned over to the Lakers.
Here is LeBron James James over to the right wing with Danny Green.
Green pulls up from the right elbow, no good, and the rebound tipped around.
Controlled by Porter, Porter pushes ahead.
Monte Morris to the quarter, Millsap the three No LeBron James with the board and a foul committed by Mason Plumlee.
So the Lakers will inbound from the backcourt.
Caruso into James James L.
A Hoop and Dwight Howard slams it down and a time out now called by Denver.
The Lakers haven't got a lot going here, but maybe that's the start of something.
It's still Denver by a dozen, but the Lakers trying toe inch their way back into this game, 44 32.
Time out on the floor.
The action resumes after the break.
Welcome back in a time out called by the Nuggets, the Lakers just It seems as though they're kind of waiting for that moment to get back into this game.
They trailed by 12 Currently, Nuggets in possession, 44 32.
Here's Nicole Yokich for Denver, poked away by Dwight Howard and he stepped out of bounds or no, a foul called against Dwight Howard does a matter of fact.
Okay, let's see the replay.
Yeah, a little shove from the left arm of Howard and on Dwight.
Howard has been given a technical for some words said of the referee afterwards.
So here comes a free free throw for Jamal Murray at the line, and you cannot hit, so it will be Denver ball.
Let's see what was deserving of the technical assessed to Dwight Howard.
Well, he was chirping away at Yokich.
I'm not sure what exactly got in the technical, but here we go.
Nuggets in possession, seven minutes remain in the first half.
Jamal Murray hands it off for Monte Morris.
Morris. Back out to Murray.
Murray will not get it off in time.
The shot clock beat him to the release.
And so Denver turn it over.
LeBron James trying to split the defense.
But instead of stolen away by Jeremy Grant Grant on the move and draws a foul against Markieff Morris.
So Jeremy Grant to the free throw line.
Two shots coming up.
Did the Nuggets start picking it up defensively They're not a great defensive team, but they're playing a lot better defensively tonight, forcing some steals and pushing in transition and either getting points in transition.
Lord drawing fouls and getting to the line in transition.
Six points now for Jeremy Grant tonight after the first free throw is converted.
Denver already in the bonus now, by the way, not even halfway through the quarter.
Sure, in these playoffs, the most deflections per game in the 2020 playoffs.
Led by the Lakers with 14.
8, the Nuggets ranked fourth with 13.4.
Justin Interesting stat, both free throws.
Good 14 point advantage for the Nuggets.
Here is Rondo Rondo to Davis, Davis back to Rajon Rondo.
Rondo cross Court.
Danny Green faces the double team back outside of Rondo.
Shot clock down to three Rondo pounds passed down low, and Caruso tossed it into the backboard.
And that's going to be a shocking a full nominee.
Oh, my hey was trying to lob it from a tight angle over the backboard and end, but that did fail miserably.
Right there for Alex Caruso.
Ah, Married a porter.
Steal by Caruso.
Here comes Alex Caruso.
He missed the layup, the fall up attempt.
No good from Howard, but a foul called on the floor, 609 locked in the second.
We approach the midway mark of the quarter.
Dwight Howard China engages Venture in this game, trying to tell them to get involved and and make some noise.
And little things like that could go a long way in helping any team to get back into a game.
The Lakers currently trailed by 14.
So much time left, though.
Here's Rhonda for the Lakers.
Rondo the nice pass, Davis to the corner, Danny Green and out on the three point attempt.
Here come the Nuggets.

It goes to Grant Grant into the lane and a tough shot.

And so two free throws here for Jeremy Grant.
First free throw is good.
5 26 left in the second quarter in Denver, really extending this lead here and once spent, ah, one sided second quarter, both free throws.
Good, if I'm not mistaking, the Lakers have only scored five points this quarter, and we're past the midway mark of quarter to yeah, 23 to 5 run for the Nuggets in this quarter.
Davis tough shot good and the foul and one for Anthony Davis in a three point play chance as he heads to the line.
Yeah, nice shot there from Anthony Davis, one that it felt like the Lakers needed.
And so he now take a shot at the line.
Anthony Davis, nine points, looking to get in double figures with this free throw.
Three of six shooting from the field, both teams in the bonus.
By the way, Davis will take a deep breath free throw up and good.
LeBron James Not in.
Currently, Jeremy Grant has taken a seat for Denver after picking up that foul, Nicole yoga to the left wing and Monta Morris got plowed over by Caldwell, Pope unintentionally and so two free throws for Morris.
A lot of trips to the line for both teams.
As a matter of fact, in this second quarter, so and so you come The free throws a 15 point Nuggets lead 505 left in the first half.
Game three of the West finals, a serious that the Lakers lead by two games to none.
The first free throw is good, all right.
Now comes the second free throw attempt.
You got that one as well.
Back to a 17 point advantage for the Nuggets.
Five to go in the second quarter.
This will be brought up by Rajon Rondo.
Rondo off the screen.
Picks up the dribble, finds Anthony Davis.
Davis takes it strong.
Missed the layup, but a foul called on the put back attempt from Dwight Howard.
Yeah or no, they called a foul on the original Davis shot Rather Okay, it was just a late whistle.

Steel by Davis ahead for Danny Green.
Green out to Rondo.
Rondo passed up on the three instead looking for Davis, and it's off of Yokich stays.
Davis, clutching at his shoulder for a moment there, quickly shakes it off.
Jamal Murray, now in for Denver.
Monte Morris, will sit.
He's made a huge impact off the bench for the Nuggets.
The Caldwell pope handed off to Rajon Rondo.
Rondo back out to Davis.
Wide open, mid range shot and he'll make it.
Anthony Davis getting into his rhythm in the Denver Nuggets Call a time out.
I'll take it to 55 41 the rest of the Lakers team.
We need to help out Anthony Davis because Davis sure is getting into his rhythm.
But the rest of the Lakers team are still just a little bit of sleep, it appears, and I'll keep it right here as it's just a 62nd time out.
Hope you guys are having a wonderful Tuesday night.
And for all intents and purposes, I must win game here for the Denver Nuggets.
And while they've been performing quite well in this game so far and all around, this is a Nuggets team that just doesn't give up.
And we've learned that through the first two rounds, and and Denver definitely showed promising signs in Game two.
Despite losing that game, you know, they lost on a buzzer beater.
It was really a game that they that they should have one.
It was it was a game that I feel as though the Nuggets played a lot better.
Most people agree with me, then, of course, scheme one where they were severely outplayed.
But yeah, the Nuggets showed promise in Game two.
And that's why I wasn't too worried about Denver heading into this game.
Because because they are, they are picking up from, you know, that promising Game two performance despite the loss, Um, thank you, Karen, for joining the broadcast.
I appreciate it.
So out of the time out Yoga Chul inbound 3 34 to go and the opening half 55 41.
The Nuggets by 14.
Jamal Murray to Gary Harris back to Murray.
Yokich fouled on the shot and free throws coming up.
Dwight Howard called for the foul.
You're pulling off the Charles Barkley guarantee.
Mhm, Yeah, I mean, hey, we'll see if that comes back to haunt them.
But they're looking good so far as Yokich sinks the first free throw.
By the way, the wild card Siri's in the MLB playoffs gets underway. Sept.
I am looking forward to the MLB playoffs gets underway a week from today.
That is, uh, and an expanded postseason best of three wild card Siris in the first round, and it should be a lot of fun.
I'll be on the call for plenty of MLB playoff games despite my beloved Red Sox, as you can see, not being it as Rondo makes the lay up, 57 43 the score three minutes remain in the second quarter.
Yokich to Murray Murray will swing into the left wing Millsaps three.
No good Rondo with the board.
Maybe the Lakers could get something going here at the end of the half.
Rondo denied by Yokich.
It will stay. Lakers Wall.
A nice block by the big man on an epic mismatch.
It's inbound until LeBron James James to the corner.
The three well short Michael Porter Jr With the rebound ahead, it goes to Jamal Murray.
Murray will slow it down over to Michael Porter Jr.
Porter crosses up LeBron, but Dwight Howard meets him at the rim with the block, and now the Lakers nearly turned it over.
But it's off of the foot of Yokich.
No scratch that it was last off of Davis Nuggets fall.
The referee overturned his own decision at first.
2 22 left in the half.
Here's Jamal Murray Murray into the lane a little too tricky on the past, but it was deflected by Davis halfway through the shot clock.
General inbound from the baseline, Kyle Kuzma reenters for the Lakers.
Rajon Rondo takes a seat, and so this is inbounded to Yokich.
Murray, on the handoff from Yokich, takes it in the layup roles.
Wanna move by Jamal Murray, 59 43 and Porter Foul called for the foul on Dwight Howard and one for Dwight, and so he will head to the line of LeBron James.
Found him underneath the basket on Dwight Howard Did the rest.
Dwight Howard, in these playoffs.
Nine games played, averaging 6.
5 minutes and five rebounds.
He's made an impact at times when he's when he's when he's played and the free throw No good, a 59 45.
It stays a 14 point Denver lead time running out here in the first half.
Here's Jamal Murray for Denver crossover.
Move the step back.
Good Jamal Murray let a play that was.
Now it's LeBron James James to the corner and the three money Kentavious Caldwell Pope With the response for Los Angeles.
Now it's Jamal Murray for the Nuggets.
He'll back his way out.
Now the double team comes and the throw to the corner for Harris.
Far up for Harris to corral.
And it's a turnover.
19 left in the half.
Dwight Howard now comes out for the Lakers.
Got some valuable minutes when Howard rarely got any playing time in that series against Houston as LeBron James Banks in the reverse layup Lakers.
Now within 11 minutes ago, exactly in quarter to James.
Now with 10 points.
Here's Nicole Yokich or the Gary Harris Harris backs out.
Now he finds Nicole Yokich Yokich, guarded by Davis looking to get a shot up shot clock, winding down.
Nicola Yokich with an impossible shot that he's somehow makes unbelievable from the big man.
And he's fired up 63 50.
The lead for not the Nuggets here is James.
James will take it to the corner out to Markieff Morris and his three rattles in Markieff Morris has been delivering from beyond the arc.
It's now a 10 point game coming up next. The halftime report.
I'll get you caught up on all the first half action, give you a preview.
So what? I connects what you can expect and what I expect in the 3rd and 4th quarter of this one.
Millsap tries toe find Yokich in the corner.
That stays Denver ball.
But the shot clock down to 3.
7, going back to that wild shot as the shot clock was lining down from Yokich.
Just absolutely nothing you could do if you're Anthony Davis defending that play, I mean, Davis did all he could.
He forced yoga's to put up that tough shot, and somehow Yokich able to hit inbounding the Yokich kicks it out wide open, Millsap short on the three point attempt.
But Yokich, with the offensive board and he can't hit.
He's in disbelief.
Clock runs out in quarter to that's halftime.
It's the first half time lead for the Nuggets in the last seven games.
That is remarkable.
That's a remarkable stat right there.
A solid first half performance from Denver.
They lead it by 10 63 53 at the midway mark of Game three.
The halftime report.
Next, stay tuned to nothing.
The seriously for the Lakers.
The Nuggets, knowing what's at stake tonight, have not disappointed through the opening 24 minutes.
I'm back after this halftime report on the way.
Welcome into the halftime report, everybody.
The Denver Nuggets, led by Nicoli Yokich a 10 point lead at the interval.
The score from Orlando, Florida in Game three of the Western Conference finals.
Hope you guys are enjoying the broadcast tonight.
Thanks so much for tuning in on this Tuesday night of MBA playoff action.
And coming into this game, we knew that Denver We're gonna come out strong.
And how about this? The Nuggets first halves in their last seven games? Well, we'll split it to their last six and tonight.
Point differential minus 59 tonight, plus 10 last six games, 31% from three tonight, 40% from three.
And you know just more statistics down that list.
How good of a first half that was for the Nuggets, something that they've been lacking for the last six games.
As I mentioned, this is the first time in seven games for Denver that they have the lead at the half, which is unbelievable, really, once you really think about that and It's the Nuggets, too.
Currently have, Ah, 63 53 lead and they came out very impressive.
I mean, you know, it was it was a very back and forth close first quarter.
But then in the second quarter, right away, the Denver Nuggets took off, and I was definitely impressed by that second quarter from Denver.
Just be Kenny Smith to the board.
You gotta love the NBA on TNT crew, but, um, uh huh, that was too good.
But yeah, anyway, it's just focusing on what Denver has been doing.
Well, well, they've set the tempo on offense.
They've been really setting the tone on offense, and even in late shot clock situations, they've been getting off some solid shots.
Offensive rebounds have been Kia's well for the Nuggets in this game.
A lot of offensive rebound second chance opportunities, and Yokich has been getting a lot of those offensive boards and and putting in second chance points.
And he's been posting up down low as well.
And the Lakers just haven't been able to handle Nicola Yokich, so they really haven't.
He's been difficult to handle and he's been leading the way for Denver.
By no way, though, is Yokich.
The whole story for Denver, everyone made contributions pretty much in that first half in the bench was also ah, critical factor as to why Denver have a 10 point lead at the break, the bench has been coming a big, especially Monte Morris, is three point shooting and the Nuggets? They can, Really? When they when they are on their shooting game, they can shoot from just about anywhere.
And that's what makes them so hard to defend.
Because yoga, just so good down low nuggets, have other shooters who could drive to the cup and make layups.
But then, when the focus from the Lakers shifts in to the paint, there's always a guy left wide open along the perimeter, and the Nuggets convert from deep because they have shooters who can hit from from beyond the arc, especially when they're left wide open.
And also, the transition game of Denver has been has been solid, so overall, the offensive intensity from the Denver Nuggets and just their effort overall has played a huge role in why the scoreline is what it is at halftime after two quarters of play.
And, uh, for the Los Angeles Lakers, you know, as good as much credit as Denver deserves.
And as good as they've been.
I I just The Lakers haven't really brought it up a gear yet.
They haven't they haven't, you know, gone full out yet.
I feel like they've just kind of been half asleep.
They haven't been making their shots that much, either.
And they certainly haven't been winning the battle on the board for rebounds, that's for sure.
So, overall, the the were the work ethic and and intensity needs to improve for the Lakers because the Nuggets are just out competing them, quite frankly, and anti.
Davis was getting into a rhythm there in that second quarter.
But the rest of the Lakers team really wasn't, um following in his footsteps, which is a problem.
I mean, Anthony Davis can't do it all by himself, but at the end of day, the Lakers are within 10 points at the half.
There's still so much basketball to be played in this game and and the Lakers are by no means out of the scheme, that's for sure.
I mean, they could come out flying with a quick run to start the third quarter, and then things could completely change in the blink of an eye.
I will say, the Nuggets, um, they they have They have had some good ball movement and also some good looks.
Now we've seen some wild shots made like that Yokich shot clock buzzer beater.
But yeah, overall, Denver is just making smart decisions with the basketball and, uh, eso We'll see if they can if they can keep up that kind of intensity and play into the 3rd and 4th quarter because the Games 48 minutes and Denver, you know, to be the team like the Lakers, if you're the Nuggets, they're gonna have to play that way like they did in the first half for the whole 48 minutes.
Orm or, you know, if over time is necessary, of course, so we'll see if they could do that.
But if they can, the Lakers are gonna have a tough time.
They are because because they're already a step behind down by 10 heading into the third quarter.
But there should be an interesting second half for sure, because it's a wind.
Denver pretty much need tohave tonight in order to have a chance in this Siri's and we'll see if they can get that win.
But so far, so good for the Nuggets.
Still, plenty of more action on the way the halftime report wraps up.
After this break, I'll get you set for the second half.
We're inching closer to Quarter three here on SportsCastr.
Welcome back in everybody as we're just about set for the second half from Orlando, Florida in Game three of the Western Conference finals between the L.
A Lakers and the Denver Nuggets.
It's a 10 point lead for the Nuggets as we're just about set for quarter three, which is on the way.
Next, don't go anywhere.
Second half on the other side of the break, we're just about ready for the second half from Orlando, Florida at the ESPN Wide World of Sports complex, thanks everyone for being a part of the broadcast tonight.
Game three West finals.
Denver Trail the Siri's to nothing but lead Game three heading into the third quarter by a score of 63 to 52 53.
Excuse me, and so are all ready to go second half getting started and it's a 10 point lead.
Denver by double figures.
The Lakers, though trying toe close in on that lead to start the second half.
Denver with the ball second half underway here on SportsCastr.
Here's Jamal Murray for the Nuggets.
Marie finds Jeremy Grant. Excuse me.
Now here is Millsap.
Yokich back to Murray Murray on the move off balance shot.
No good, but a foul called against Dwight Howard.
So two free throws here for Jamal Murray at the line.
Third foul against Dwight Howard in this game.
LeBron James looking for an explanation from the official Jamal Murray. 12 points tonight.
Four of seven shooting in six assists.
First free throw.
You can see the frustration on Jamal Murray's face.
He hasn't then that consistent Tonight from the line, which is something he'll definitely want to improve upon.
The second one is well, so it remains a 10 point Denver lead Lakers with the ball here is Caldwell Pope.
He finds Howard handoff to James deep to no good.
Paul Millsap grabs the board for the Nuggets.
Millsap to Yokich.
Yokich down low.
Harris hands it off to Millsap.
He'll fake and now finds Grant top of the key.
Jeremy Grant to Nicole Yoka Yoka.
No offensive board.
Jamal Murray there to take it now out to grant wide open three point attempt off the mark again.
Here come the Lakers pushing the other way.
Pope pulls up from downtown and connects a seven point game.
A big time three pointer.
The first point of the second half for either team there from contagious Caldwell. Pope.
Now here's Jamal Murray Murray double team in the corner.
Gets it out to Jeremy Grant.
Grant stolen by Caldwell.
Pope now on the break and rolls it in a time out, called by the Nuggets.
Ah, 50 run to begin the third quarter for the Lakers, and they're now within five of Denver.
What a start to the second half.
Just what the Lakers were looking for.
Kentavious Caldwell, Pope.
Getting it done with the steal and with the finish in transition 10 34 left in the third.
I'm back after the time out.
Welcome back, Everybody.
Early stages of the second half in the Nuggets had a 10 point lead at the half, but the Lakers right out the gates here in the third quarter on a five run and are now within five points of L.
5 to go in the 3rd.
Denver and the lead.
But the Lakers closing in on that lead here is yogurt. She'll hand it off.
Thio. Jamal Murray Murray.
Nice feed down low and dropping the hammer is Jeremy Grant.
Good response out of the time.
Out for the Nuggets.
Jeremy Grant, 11 points, 13 minutes on the floor tonight.
Here is Davis in the corner.
He'll take it to the lane and from the elbow puts up the shot.
A foul called against Millsap.
And so Davis thought it was clearly a shooting foul.
I did as well, but they said it's on the floor.
We'll see if they reversed that decision, but, yeah, they're gonna say it's on the floor.
Interesting decision there by the official LeBron James and bounce to Dwight Howard.
Now it's Anthony Davis Davis to the Open Caldwell Pope and before he could get a shot off a big collision.
LeBron James, down in a bit of pain but quickly gets up, took a shot to the jot appears he's shaken up after that. Let's see the replay.
Oh, yeah, I'll go to the jaw from Jamal Murray.
Yeah, that that's that.
That could be a flagrant.
I think it will be honestly, exactly two minutes into the third period, we've got an official review taking place for a possible flagrant foul and just looking at the replay a few times.
I think this is going to be a flagrant.
He raised the elbow and swiped across the job.
LeBron James, Jamal Murray that ISS.
I mean, James did exaggerated a little bit, but at the end of the day of foul is a foul, and, uh, I still I still think it's gonna be called a flagrant.
Obviously, James definitely sold it a bit, but yeah, it's a quick review.
Here is the official decision from the referees.
Is they've determined? Well, no, not quite.
They'll put on the headsets again and take a few more looks.
It appears, Yeah, no doubt a sell job from LeBron James.
That's undeniable here, but it's still a flagrant, even even even though it was definitely a sell job, he definitely overreacted but still got hit no doubt, and I'd be surprised if this wasn't called a flagrant here and now is the official decision coming up.
I mean, I'm just going based on what we've seen throughout these playoffs, and this has been consistently called a flagrant, you know, a similar type of foul to the one committed, just thereby just now by Jamal Murray.
So hey, yeah, there you go.
So this foul is deemed a flagrant one.
That's exactly what I was expecting.
Jamal Murray called for the flagrant, and so LeBron James will go to the line for a pair of shots, and then the Lakers will have the ball is, well, first free throw.
No good, Yeah, no surprise.
The flagrant was called.
And so here comes the second of two free throw attempts after the flagrant foul for LeBron James.
Second one is good, and the Lakers now in possession, 65 59.
The lead six for the Nuggets.
James and Bounds to Anthony Davis, James back to Davis, and now the three is no good and an offensive foul against Dwight Howard.
You can't hit the deck.
Sure, an offensive foul called thanks Isaac for joining the broadcast.
Isn't that weird? The Lakers and Nuggets? Yeah, they played two games in between, None being played between the Celtics and Heat.
Yeah, it's strange how the Celtics and Heat had three days off, uh, before game Game four.
Um, but I It's because of Monday Night Football.
That's why, because ESPN what, what, What wouldn't be able to show the Celtics heat last night if they did every other night? So that's why it's not till Wednesday.
It's It is strange, but I believe that's why.
And that's a foul in the corner.
It goes against Danny Green on the floor.
I will have to wrap up the broadcast folks very shortly.
I've got a head to bed soon because of school tomorrow, but probably at the next time.
I'll sign off, but here is Nicola Yokich Yokich in the lane.
He'll kick it out.
Mills Rather, Jeremy Grant with a drive foul called and LeBron James, this time the guilty party.
The fouls have been present throughout this game, especially in the second, and now the early stages of the third quarter and back to the free throw line goes Jeremy Grant.
So two free throws for Grant.
It's a six point lead for the Nuggets in this one Game three of the West Finals, pretty much a must win for Denver.
No team in NBA history has come back from a 30 deficit in a Siri's, although if you had to bet on it, the Denver Nuggets would probably be the first team to ever do that just the way they have come back from deficits throughout these playoffs.
But 30 is, Ah, whole.
Another task than 313 one's pretty hard, but but But that's been done.
And it's been done twice here in these playoffs by the Nuggets, which was the first by the same team in one postseason.
But 30 it's never been done.
So here is Davis pulls up from the stripe, no good, and the board controlled by Jamal Murray Murray in transition blows by Danny Green and now kicks to the corner.
Millsap out to Grant Grant.
The three got it.
Jeremy Grant from downtown.
The Nuggets back up by double digits, 10 points.
The difference between L.
A and Denver 69 59.
The score 8 40 left in the third, this ball put into the hands of a D.
Anthony Davis gave it away, turned over to Jeremy Grant.
Grant in transition.
Lays it in, and it's the Nuggets by a dozen of time out called by Frank Vogel.
And now it's Denver on a run of their own 71 59.
And that will have to do it for my broadcast, folks.
Thank you for tuning in. Everybody.
Enjoy the rest of your night.
Enjoy the rest of this game.
I've got to get to bed.
But I'll see you guys next time here on SportsCastr as it's a 71 59 lead for Denver.
Enjoy the rest of Game three.
I'm Samuel re signing off saying so long on SportsCastr.
