Wow, What's up? What's up? What's up, everybody? Mhm Hope everyone had a good weekend.
A good fantasy football weekend.
Hopefully, UNIFIL team won.
Hopefully you're not like me then Broncos fan and you are ready to throw in the towel after week, too.
So very excited to talk with you guys today.
We had some some pretty good plays over the DFS weekend.
So that's what we're here to talk about today.
Some of our hits and misses.
And then we're gonna go over quarterbacks today.
A lot of good quarterbacks this week, a lot of good matchups, a lot of high over unders.
So there's gonna be a lot to go over.
You just give me one sec in as I always do.
Share this out to the people.
Hopefully we can get through this week without any injuries.
That is terrible.
I'm not gonna go over, um, a lot of the injuries today, just maybe some that are relevant.
None really at the quarterback position except for Drew lock.
But we're really playing him in DFS anyway.
But there is, um you know, so many injuries that's been talked about a lot so I'm not gonna I'm not gonna go over that.
I'm sure many of you know there's just been a ton of them, so Well, let's get started.
So we're gonna start today talking about our hits and misses from last week, and we made a little bit of money s Oh, I like to focus in on usually one DFS um, buying.
And so week one, it was the $5 million maker.
They don't have a longer have the $5 usually, like a $20.
So I went with the $3 buying this week.
First place gets 200,000, and I had some pretty solid lineups that I shared with you guys.
A lot of the guys that we hit on last week, my top two lineups both scored 188.
So $3 buying $15 profit.
Um, I talked to their both their so half my buying back kind of profiting about 6 69.
Nice Onda profiting off of that right there on those buy ins that Prescott was a huge hit.
Miles Sanders, Jonathan Taylor.
They were both good CD.
Lamb is a guy I had in there didn't talk about a whole lot.
I'd like to Mark Cooper more this week, but, you know, the Martin had an okay game to see the lamb, and he looks great.
Tyler Higbee, another guy talked about, um, you know you when you do these DFS lineup, you get so close, right? Like I'm looking at these lineups.
I started Davante Adams, who had a hamstring injury, and then I threw in Danny Amendola as my other wide receiver along with Calvin Ridley.
I thought with you know, Marvin Hall didn't really do anything.
Marvin Jones didn't do anything the week before, and even though he caught two touchdown this week, Kenny Golladay was still out.
So I was thinking maybe I could get a cheap play with Amen Dola and it didn't really work out.
And then my other line up.
Josh Allen, Erin Jones, Stefon Diggs and John E.
Smith and Russell Gauge again.
Really good lineup.
I had the Cardinals defense and then it's just two guys, man.
This one was really three.
Wolf folder was zero Hollywood Brown with nine Ronald Jones with 10 going into the three o'clock games.
I had Wolf folder and Hollywood Brown.
I was sitting at, like, 179 points was like, Man, if one of these guys for both these guys have blow up weeks, we're sitting really pretty right now.
Unfortunately, if you had Will Fuller, you got you a big zero.
So I hope you guys, you know, I try to share these with you too, you know, Kind of let you know when you're listening to me.
That Hey, like, I'm doing these with you, I'm sharing my results.
I had a couple of cash is out of the 20.
Cash is the last week I shared at 13 of 24.
This week, 10 of 20 profited $6 off the just those buying that we're trying to get.
So I don't wanna be transparent with you guys.
I'm not gonna lie here and say I'm making all this money when I'm not.
And if I do, I'm gonna share with you.
And hopefully we can, you know, learn off this together here, and yeah, let's talk about our hits.
A quarterback man.
My four quarterbacks from last week, we smashed on.
I'm gonna take a small victory lap here.
I've been preaching Josh Allen for the you know, to start the season like Hey, like you need him in your line of this week.
One he hit week to he hit again with 37 a half points.
Jared golf a guy like a lot.
This week, I said, I was like, Hey, look, Malcolm Brown had rushing touchdowns from the one and two yard line.
Those could easily be Tyler Higbee.
And, yeah, that guy I love Josh Salman.
Him, Russell Wilson and Kyler Man there.
They're just right on top of each other.
MVPs right there, man.
I just It's so much fun to watch, especially talking about Josh Allen.
I've talked about the progression of ah has a Pats fan, uh, from 52% to 58%.
And I was like, Look, if he could get to the 62 63% completion percentage, he's gonna look fantastic.
And right now I think he's stealing 70% through two games.
Play the Jets in Miami.
You know he plays the Rams this week, you know, we'll see how he does, but I like him a lot.
They have no running game and he has just been the running game.
And he's been phenomenon the passing game.
And I think having Stefan days honestly helps a lot.
I was a big ****s hand this week as well.
Jared Goff Onley 24 points.
He needed a You know, a little more of that passing yardage to hit that bonus at 300 yards. I think you only had.
I don't have the numbers in front of you, but I think to 79 I was really I was like Tyler, Higbee and Jared Golf.
This is the week Malcolm Brown had the 21 and two yard rushing touchdowns.
And he did okay for you.
Advanced if you started when you were disappointed at all.
Kyler Murray, another guy like this week, He is just looking phenomenal.
Like Josh Allen.
He is just taking over with his legs, you know, two games of over 68 yards.
I think he had 100 yards in week one, but he had those two kneels.
I got him down to 91.
He has looked phenomenal.
1 points and then Matt Ryan at 28 a half.
He had the passing yardage in week one and only two touchdowns yesterday.
He had before passing touch month Sunday had before passing touchdowns, didn't have a ton of yards.
But he's another guy.
I just think you're just have you know, you're gonna be satisfied almost no matter what he looks like.
He's just putting the team on his back.
If the special teams, you know, doesn't you know, fumble.
You know, I wanted to say, fumble the bag, but, you know, no fumble intended, but if they hadn't have, you know, box that onside kick, you know, we'd be looking at that Ryan is like, Wow, that is a phenomenal game.
Yeah, DeAndre Hopkins.
We gotta talk about him eventually, because he, um you know, you look at what the offseason talk was right is he had this huge target share in Houston.
Is he going to get the same target share? And, yeah, he's getting the same target share, so he's gonna be phenomenal.
It's It's amazing to watch him work.
He's truly one of the best wide receiver in the game.
We've known that we were unsure how he would performing.
He's performed amazing going on the running backs.
I hit three of my four running backs.
I usually bring four guys for you.
I was like, Look, I'm fading Aaron Rodgers This week.
Let's get Erin Jones in your lineup.
He had everything you wanted to pass a tent or the targets and weak one.
He had the phenomenal rushing numbers.
And then you look at the matchup and it looks It looks great, right? And I was like Like, this could be his week.
That worked out Great.
I'm taking my victory laps now because I missed on the wide receivers pretty badly, so I don't think I'm just taking these victory laps to brag.
Tailor, that was pretty chalk.
22 points. Yeah.
I mean, you're gonna take that any day of the week.
David Montgomery guy didn't like a lot last year, but I'm liking the matchups this year. 21.7.
So right there with Jonathan Taylor.
Very good matchup.
Has another really good matchup.
Another guy Probably talk about this week as we get going Thanks for coming out, Doug.
Hopefully we'll see you again later on.
And then Ronald Jones.
Man, I felt really good about Ronald Jones.
I had him like I talked about one of my lineups that had that was one or two pieces away.
I had impaired with Josh down and Erin Jones and he only had 10.7.
He had that touchdown the beginning of the game.
I was like, Oh, yes, like I got this line of looking at him like, Look, Johnny Smith already caught the touchdowns.
Everybody was going off And then he you know, a fumble If you haven't seen it, a Tom Brady Ronald Jones miscommunication and the Leonard Fournette gets in the game and just takes over.
You know, I feel bad for telling you guys to start Ronald Jones, but he was a really good play this week.
Played against Carolina.
He proved it, you know, to get in the end zone.
I think he could have one more big run in this game.
You have been happy, but, you know, unfortunately, you know those like those the types of ones that don't get you, You know, the the tens of thousands of dollars.
Just those one little Mrs like that wide receivers I missed on pretty badly.
Uh, you know, maybe that's, ah, weakness.
I'm a joint with you guys.
I'm really gonna try to break down wide receivers this week and try to hit on these guys, you know, quarterback and running back even a little bit of tight.
And I see me pretty solid on my predictions.
So, wide, receivers one that I'm definitely gonna be, you know, hitting hard.
I had juju last week.
I was like, Look, I think I think the touchdowns weren't fluky.
You know, he had the six targets and Deontay Johnson once again stole the targets.
And I had gone to Johnson and a couple of my lineups.
And you know, he's the one that kind of stuck me in the money to, at least when my money back towards the end of the day, you know, he's a pretty solid player, but we weren't sure, you know, and I broke down the stats last week about Marty Cooper on the slot versus Denver.
How Corey Davis had his breakout game in Week one and he was in the slot 45 snaps.
And then, you know, Judy play 43 of his snaps in Week one of the slide.
I thought it was a really good match up.
Didn't work out.
Amari Cooper is another guy like CD.
Lamb went off, but Amari Cooper got you, though I think six catches for 100 yards.
So he hit that bonus.
He came through with 19 points.
I'm still waiting for that breakout game.
I'm gonna keep putting Hollywood round my lineups.
And as should you, he's getting the targets.
They're really good targets, right? Like he's getting the underneath stuff and we know the deep stuff is gonna come.
So keep putting him into your lineup.
9.2 points. Very disappointing.
But let's, you know, have faith in him.
He's a fantastic athlete, and the various lighten.
I'm gonna, you know, try toe, you know, temper my expectations on Darius Slay.
And I'm just a huge fan of his if he's probably my favorite player in the NFL right now, and I'm a Broncos fan, so it's not like a homer thing.
I just like the talent.
They just had a really tough week, and I think once Daequan went down.
It was just hard to rally around.
And then tight ends.
Man, I hit on these tight ends really well.
I was like, Put the Higby, Josh Jared Goff in there. You're gonna love it.
He came through Big Johnny Smith, probably my second favorite player behind Darius late in the NFL.
He came through big.
Keep putting Johnny Smith in your lineup.
She looks like a freaking running back Every time he catches the ball out in open space, he just looks phenomenal out there.
Malala Cox is the guy was like, Look, you know, I like to Jack Doyle, Week one.
This is what Philip Rivers does.
He likes his tight ends morality.
Cox came through with 19.
1 and then John John, who came with 24.
4 and I could do with 28.
4 and then I kind of like Logan Thomas.
I like Logan Thomas again this week. He's getting the targets.
I think he has One of the higher target paces of any of the tight ends in the NFL had, like nine targets weak, too.
So he's getting the targets.
It's just they're not valuable targets.
But you got to touch down in week one.
I think he's someone that sneaky that you can put into your lineup, and I think you'll be happy, you know, tort.
Once the this chemistry starts coming along because he is a converted quarterback.
Howard was a guy I've completely whiffed on.
I like him a little bit for week one.
Chris Godwin was out.
You know Mike Evans was recovering from a hamstring.
I like my Kevin.
There's a play last week, but I thought I was J.
Howard was gonna take advantage of the opportunities, and he just didn't and so that I mean, that's how it goes, right? You know, I didn't have a ton of O.
J Howard in my lineup, so I was like, play hig being played John you.
And hopefully, if you did, you want a little bit of money.
So now that those were my hits and misses, um, you know, like I said, it's a little bit of luck trying to convert these lineups.
You know, you like a lot of these guys had I put in, uh, you know, somebody else besides Will Fuller you know, we could have been, you know, hitting 1000 mark.
And that's a completely different ball game.
Let's go ahead breaking my quarterbacks for Week three.
I have a lot of them.
So I'm gonna kind of tell this to you of the guys that these are the guys that would definitely play it right.
I usually give you four today.
I only have three that I'm gonna break down to.
Like, these are the guys who like because there's so many good matchups.
You have to write out Josh Allen versus the Rams until proven otherwise.
He's doing it all.
They don't have a running game with Zach Mosque and Devin Singletary.
They just can't seem to get anything going.
Josh Allen and Kyler Murray and Dak and Russell Wilson.
One of these guys is going to be the Patrick Mahomes Lamar Jackson.
Blah, blah, blah.
Breakout, right? Every year we see it in fantasy for football in general, where we have a quarterback where everything just clicks, right? Even if it's just for one year, everything just goes the right way.
You know the Patrick Mahomes 5000 yards, 50 touchdown break out last year with Lamar Jackson.
We saw the same thing where everything just click.
Now there's sustaining.
Is that Kyler Murray this year? Is that Josh Allen this year? Is that deck like, you know, Jackson Very consistent for a long time.
So I maybe I won't put him in that category like with Russell Wilson.
More of a consistency thing.
But you know, Kyle Americans Detroit.
I wanna be like, Yeah, let's do it.
I think this is a Kenyan Drake game and I don't like I just think that kind of cap see upset of Kyler Murray.
But you know, Kyler Murray's upside or his high floor, and you know it's higher.
That's like top six.
So, like I said, you keep putting Josh Allen and Kyler Murray and I've talked about those guys.
Last week, I talked about him a lot.
Don't be afraid of them in your line of some talk about some other guys here today and same forward doctor, says Russell Wilson, Uh, you just put them in your lineups and feel confident and hope that the rest of your lineups produce the way you need them to.
Because Russell Wilson and we're gonna put up their points.
They have a fantastic over under this week.
I think it's a 53 points or something like that.
It's gonna be a freaking shootout.
So get as many pieces that games you can fit those into your lineups.
We're gonna be doing the $3 buying again this week.
Max kind of takes away that variants.
So if you're good at what you do, you know, hopefully, you know, a little bit of luck is on your side.
So let's start with first.
Eso the guy I'm really committing to this week and getting in my lineup, says Joe Burrow.
He's facing Philadelphia at 6200.
Is the quarterback tenant pricing? I guess I'm gonna try to stay away from these top six guys because obviously, the price there for a reason three over under is 46 a half.
Philly's favorite by six.
I kind of find that a little surprising.
You know, Carson Wentz, another guy that I kind of wanna put into these, you know, quarterback blocks.
He has not looked good.
Their offensive line is not look good.
Fortunately for them, they have a pretty good running game and a good tandem with Boston Scott and Miles Sanders.
And we saw what happened last week against the Browns on Thursday Night Football.
So that's why I wanted to put cars on Winston this week.
I think I'm fading him for these other quarterbacks, although he's priced at 5800 at quarterback 15.
So you're gonna have a reason to put him into your lineup.
But at 6200 for Joe Burrow, let's look at like the first two weeks, right, because we don't have any preseason games.
You know, we can't judge everything off of like what we're seeing because he's still progressing as a player week 1 23 for 3693 yards.
But he had that really big run.
If you remember in Week one, he had eight for 46 on the ground, so he has a rushing floor right on Lee 19 rushing yards this past week but seven rush attempts and he had the rushing touchdown versus the Browns.
You through 61 attempts and this is why people were like Joe Burrow is gonna be okay for fantasy this year, because if you look at Andy Dalton, Andy Dalton.
Last year they threw a ton of passes and Andy Dalton wasn't phenomenal.
But, I mean, you can put peaking adult better about what Joe Burrow is right now.
So there's just plenty of past attempts to go around.
You have a pretty solid receiving corps.
Higgins kind of getting on the field a little bit more.
J. Green. He had 13 targets, only caught a couple of them.
That's really disappointing, But some of those turn around.
You're looking at a very good potential for a breakout game.
You look Dwayne Haskins.
Week one vs Philadelphia 17 for 3100 and 78 yards and a touchdown.
Okay, um, Jared Goff Week to last week.
A guy. I was like, We need to play in this week.
267 yards and three touchdowns.
So the quarterback plays pretty consistent.
It hasn't had the opportunity to kind of, you know, blow up, but Joe Mixon, I love Joe Mixon a lot.
I wanted them in all my draft this year, but they cannot run the ball at all, and I don't see any reason why Philadelphia is gonna be like.
But let's just focus on the past.
Like stop drop makes them make them one dimensional.
Forced them to throw the ball, at least where you can make plays on it and see if you can get the rookie rattle a little bit.
They have really good pass rushers, Onley, one sack and two quarterback hits against the Rams last week.
Um, for, uh, oh, well, I'm going away.
Sorry about that. Lost track of minors, right, anyway.
So, like I said, Philadelphia's favorite, if it is what I think it is mild.
Sanders is gonna have a really good game, and you're going to see Joe Burrow kind of playing catch up.
Kind of like we did against the Browns.
That Cincinnati defense is not gonna win them any games this week, and you've seen the past attempts of 31 36 61.
So there's there's your ceiling right 61 versus 36.
Somewhere in the middle, you're going to see more than 40 past attempts, and I just think with his legs he offers that opportunity to have those big blow up games that maybe you don't see from everybody else.
Another guy like I'm gonna talk about Matt Ryan real quick, and I know I was like, I'm not gonna talk about these top six guys But I think there's a stigma about Matt Ryan and we just kind of need to understand what he does for famous and what he does for DFS.
He's 6600 at the quarterback six and he plays against Chicago.
5 over under, so that's a very friendly over under.
But it's on Lee because they understand that Atlanta's gonna put up points.
But their defense is so bad that David Montgomery, one of my favorite running backs for this week again he's going to get the opportunity and they're gonna just do whatever they want.
Mitchell Torbinski is gonna have to have an absolutely terrible game for them to not keep up because that defense is so bad.
You look at what we can to break down from Matt Ryan.
He's averaging 361 passing yards a game because everything three touchdowns a game It's two weeks, you pace it out.
Though 5700 passing yards in 48 touchdowns in the season, there is this narrative about Matt.
Ryan is Look, he's going to put up the yardage.
He's locked for 4500, almost like we don't need to worry about that. It's the touchdowns.
It's the every other year thing.
It's super weird, but it's happened, right? Every other year, you see Matt Ryan go from like 22 touchdowns, like 33 touchdowns.
Thio, you know, 24 to 36 like he has these back and forth games and that falls in this year.
It's also a big thing when he has the same offensive coordinator two years on the road.
The second year he is a lot better.
He's more consistent and he's more comfortable.
The biggest thing you need to understand about this is this.
The Chicago defense. It's pretty good.
It's not too bad.
It's not what we saw a couple of years ago, the year they got clear, Mac and they were just tearing people up.
But they're consistent and Todd Gurley has done nothing but disappoint.
He has, I think, to targets in a catch last week.
He didn't do anything.
On the ground is 117 rushing yards, averaging 3.
3 yards per carry through the first two weeks 117 total and then 3.
3 through the first two weeks.
That is very bad.
Se**** Barkley had four for 18 before he tore his A c l got injured.
Dion Lewis comes in, he goes 10 for 20.
I wouldn't say that the Atlanta Falcons offensive line is that much better in run blocking than they are versus the Giants.
So I don't really see an opportunity for Todd Gurley to take over this game against a you know, a decent Chicago defense.
This is gonna be Matt Ryan Air in the ball out.
And the big thing here is he has the wide receivers to do it.
Calvin Ridley, who has been a fantasy darling the first week, is averaging 119 yards per game at 14.9 yards.
Poor per reception.
That is something you can rely on Julio Jones, who had a disappointing week last week.
5 yards per game, 16.
5 yards per reception.
So he's your bigger down the field.
Deep threat yet Calvin really over the middle.
Then you have, you know, a fan favorite Russell Gauge at 10.
7 yards per reception.
He's the underneath guy.
He is the safety valve.
He's averaging 80 yards a game.
And then you have Hayden Hurst.
You know they lost Austin Hooper.
They traded for hitting her.
Hitting her set a very good game last week, and he's averaging 55 yards a game at 13.8.
So I mean, he's right there.
Between eso, they have every level down, right? And unfortunately, Todd Gurley, you know he's not being involved.
I think that's a good thing.
If Todd Gurley is involved, that's under under the knee.
The Atlanta Falcons are putting up points.
They should be one on one right now in one of the most atrocious classes I've ever seen in my life.
This craziest thing I've ever seen when you really think about the percentage I remember looking at ESPN, they gave the Falcons at 99.
9% chance to win with like four minutes left in the game and they lost like it is insane.
What the Cowboys did, and I hope we don't.
It doesn't get lost in all of this, But you know, Matt Ryan has put the team on his back.
He's pushing the ball down the field.
He's not, you know, dinking and dunking it down.
He's pushing it, and he's getting the touchdowns.
Four last week to Week one.
I'm really excited about Matt Ryan this year.
Hopefully, you know, he kind of stays in that quarterback 68 range where he becomes a consistent fantasy steel, or you're not having to pay up at the 7300 or 7700 or so where you're having to pay it for these guys like Russell Wilson, Dak Prescott.
All right, and my last guy that I'm really, really liking this week is Matthew Stafford.
I think this is a Matthew Stafford game, and I want you to take everything with a grain of salt here.
This is if Can you call it a place, which can you go holiday? Hopefully, he's out there.
I think he's gonna be playing this week.
They have a pretty good matchup against Arizona Cardinals, where I think Kenyan Drake is gonna have his big blow up game that you wanted for fantasy this year, and they're gonna have to keep up like that.
The Arizona Cardinals, their their front sevens Pretty good.
You know they have Patrick Peterson.
They have Buddha Baker back there, but they haven't really scared anybody.
I think on the, you know, defensive front for another, the defensive backs, I would say, and Matthew Stafford is a phenomenal quarterback.
You look at this first two weeks, he's averaged 17.
2 points per week, so he's got those. Both times.
It's just been really consistent, really flat.
He's averaged here.
He's has to 97 passing yards and 244 passing yards, just one touchdown in both games.
But he's getting the past attempts of 33 42.
I think there's gonna be a catch up game.
You see a really good thing for him.
That I said, is not a good thing for Matt Ryan, but it's a good thing for him.
Is DeAndre Shift is getting involved in the passing game because they have the deep threats of Kenny Golladay and Marvin Jones and TV Hawkinson is having a phenomenal breakout season that you really wanted and hoped for last year, but you understood had five receptions for 60 yards by a lot of people.
He was the best pass catching running back coming out of college last year.
One seconds I take a drink.
So to see DeAndre sift getting involved, that is really good for Matthew Stafford.
He is better than what Theoretic ever could have wished.
He waas because the athleticism of the after the catch of a running back this what's supposed to make it better for the quarterback.
And we didn't see that with theoretic.
He just catch the ball every now and then make a play.
But he basically got tackled two yards after wherever he caught it.
You're not gonna see that with the entrees with you're going to see him make a ton of catches and putting good opportunities to have those breakout place should have the touchdown, you know, Week one.
And that's another reason if you add that you know four point touchdown and that catch the Matthew Stafford, he hits the four point, so he's at 21.2.
Then he hits the bonus for 300 yards.
So then that's a pretty good game and, you know, thankfully for us and the F s.
If we can identify guys that are gonna have these breakout weeks like I think Matthew Stafford is that quarterback nine is 6300.
That's a really good price.
That's where you been paying for Cam Newton before his price skyrocketed.
So I'm really excited about him.
Like I said, Kenny Golladay is back.
I am very, very confident and putting Matthew Stafford in.
And these he's not the ***y play, but if he comes out for 3 25 and three touchdowns, you're going to be very happy about that.
And that is the difference of paying for what Cam Newton is gonna get you at 6300 and being able to put these prices on a better defense or a better wide receiver.
Or maybe being able to sneak those running backs that you want this week.
So I hope you guys appreciated, you know, talking some DFS quarterbacks with you guys.
I'm getting a little better at this as we go along, trying not to ramble on too much.
Hopefully, I'm putting out some good content for you guys.
I appreciate you all sticking around.
Thanks for a company.
Socks for the tip.
I really do appreciate it and dug out of you.
I know you had to leave already, but thanks for the interactions.
I really do appreciate him.
Um, if you could give me a follow on Twitter, it is at fantasy Reserve and get a follow to the the Great Irons rating production team.
Uh, I want to just give a quick, you know, if you guys like free money when you're in tow, you know, sports betting or betting lines.
If you go to thrive fantasy, they actually have a give us a promo code.
50 and it's that thrive fantasy, and they will match your When you sign up, they will match your bonus up to $50.
So if you put in $50 you $50 for you.
It's a very nice and clean app.
They dio It's not like the DFS where you're creating the lineups.
They do prop bets.
So they give you 20 prop bets.
You picked 10 of the over under.
So one of the over under's this week was Daniel Jones.
Do you think it gets over? You think he gets under and you pick it and you picked 10 of those.
And the riskier the over under The more total points you get for that pick.
And and then in that situation, it is like, you know, draftkings and DFS where you know, the person with the most points at the end of the week, you know, wins the money.
It's a lot of funds, a different twist.
And like I said, if you like free money, you know there's your code g r 50 at Thrive Fantasy.
I appreciate you got so much Hopefully, you guys, um you know, enjoy the content.
Matt Ryan, Matthew Stafford.
My guys that I am throwing into my line of this week and I will be back on tomorrow on Wednesday and we will talk some running backs.
Really excited about running backs.
I think I think we can identify these running backs this week and win some money, so thank you guys so much
