We dio Everybody rejoices because we're finally live attempts way.
Our live, as always, aches Tentacles here for Fleury sports.
Join me tonight, Tanner and Henry Ware bringing you are weak to fantasy review Talking a little news, talking an unfortunate amount of injury updates some pretty serious ones.
We're gonna get toe all that's going to try and keep it short and sweet for you overall so that we could get everybody scurrying off to leftover bets.
Your left over, You know, fantasy difference makers Monday night.
What do they call that? Monday night? Leftovers.
Um, I call it Vegas, Baby.
It's Vegas is opener.
Yeah, there we go.
I mean, I was I was just talking from a fantasy standpoint, but overall to Yeah, Vegas.
Uh, I'm sure I actually have two buddies right now that are in Vegas.
I looked up plane tickets just two days ago.
39 bucks to get out there.
Could have been out there.
Could have been part of this celebration in the studio.
They're not in the stadium.
Excuse me, but still might have been fun and, uh, could've could've played.
Could have paid for the whole trip Or at least the plane ticket with, You know, one correct bet on this game tonight.
So, anyways, we'll get to all that, um, quickly.
How did you guys do in week two of fantasy? I, you know, not to to my own horn, but I am 11 and two across six leagues in the first two weeks, working out pretty well, even in my league that everybody told me it was a terrible pick to take was my keeper league.
I kept Patrick Mahomes.
I ended up taking Lamar Jackson with my first round pick.
Eso I have both of the two best quarterbacks in the NFL on my team in that league.
Everybody said I was crazy.
Everybody said my team sucked.
You have, ah, backup running back because you're running back to never gonna work.
Guess what? To And oh, so I'm feeling pretty good.
How fantasy go for you guys this week.
I guess it's a good start all around.
I'm currently eight and two through two weeks went four and one.
In both weeks, I took a loss in my big like redraft money league that I do in Week one.
I lost by five points.
I needed Derrick Henry to just get in the end zone on that Monday night game against the Broncos, and you got stopped at, like, the one yard line, like, three or four times in that game and was killing me.
But I came back strong this week, and I'm pretty happy with all my team so far, to be honest.
Good stuff, boys.
I'm not quite the same record wise, but it's dynasty leagues that air throwing that off my two dynasty teams.
That kind of building for the future more so than playing for this year.
But redrafting gonna be five and one after this week.
Yeah, one of my teams drop has a chance, actually, the same defense.
I still have to go tonight.
We could be closing in on 200 points, which is pretty crazy.
And then my big money league, I got cute.
I benched David Montgomery and Tyler board this week for a couple of players who definitely did not produce to their level.
But we're still gonna pull out of job here, so it's all good.
Yeah, I I ended up benching a ton of points this week started a few players that I was talked into on on some shows that I was hosting on these very airwaves on Do you know, a normal weeks they would have been fine plays, but the people that I ended up sitting being John Brown and Mike Kosecki each had really, really good weeks.
I should. I should have messed around with my lineup.
Should have just trusted my lineup.
Should have just left.
It ended up winning it all my leagues anyway, so it didn't really matter.
But just funny that you know, the to to really two guys that I had questions on throughout the week ended up being the ones that I made wrong decisions on.
That's how it goes.
That's how how it is.
That's how it always goes.
You know, Sorry, in one of my leagues, it's to flex league and I had Scotty Miller and Naim Hines is my to flex place.
So they got me like a combined 3.
1 points, but I still pulled out the win in that league.
Somehow, that's always a great feeling, like, you know, it doesn't because it doesn't matter too much.
You made the wrong choice.
But you want anyway, so it doesn't matter.
You can feel good in the end. Definitely.
Um, well, let's move on to some regular football news. Quick.
Um, I guess probably news of the week, maybe Game of the week in most people's opinions, that cowboys miraculously come back.
They were down 20 to nothing in the first quarter, 20 to 9 at halftime, The end up winning 42.
Um, I mean, so does this mean everything, Or did the Cowboys finally get something figured out at halftime of that game? You know, it would have been really rough for them if they didn't pull it out.
Because then they go into Seattle next week owing to so they're looking like a really good shot to start the season.
So that was huge for him to pull it out.
And that onside kick just moved like this fast for five yards.
And somehow they got that.
But that was a really fun game.
Oh, my goodness.
Dan Quinn's gotta be gone, at least at the end of the year, right? You should be gone now, how does your team not know the rules of an onside kick? I still cannot believe.
Watch where Atlanta just let they let it roll.
You guys don't know.
Was there some sort of rule change this year that the players might have thought that there was a different rule in place? Because it's not like those air all rookies on the kick, like on the hands team.
Like those air experienced players, players that have, you know, done this before, played through onside kicks before.
So how do you not know the rule, or how do you think it's a different rule? I mean, was there a rule change that I'm not aware of? And then they just weren't made aware of it or like, how do you not know this? The rules have basically been the same, like, you know, for all time on onside kicks, except for when they changed.
Obviously, the when you can start running and how many people on the side of the field and stuff, But whatever it's you know, receiving team, as always, you could go for the ball at any point because you're the receiving team like you don't have to wait.
Since when do would you have to wait? That makes no sense, right? Well, that's that's exactly why it makes no sense.
Those rules changes went in for player safety.
And that's why the onside kick is so hard to pull off now.
Unless unless you are the Falcons, you have and you have Young like who kicking it for you.
But like Tanner said, that ball just rolling so slow and the Atlantic guys Hayden Hurst There was another guy in there.
They were jumping back from it like it was on fire or something.
I was speechless.
It broke up a A nice little partly, but I had going.
It was the only reason that I didn't get was Falcons on the money line.
Uh, just totally mind blowing stuff and a Sfar a Dallas Jake to back to your original question.
I'm not all in on the Cowboys at all.
After this game, they completely got lucky here.
You had some momentum booster, and yeah, Atlanta does have a great offense, but this defense clearly has issues.
And, you know, we expected Dallas offense to perform well in this game against a terrible Falcons defense as well, which it took them a whole half to do.
Uh, eso this, this Cowboys team to me.
Yes, they have plenty of talent, but from a potential chemistry.
And I think you have to look at leadership here to Mike McCarthy.
You know, he's just two games in, so we got a little little bit.
Slide is they're all still trying to figure things out with a reduced preseason and whatnot.
But there's some real concern in Dallas.
And I mean, I guess the only blessing for them is that the rest of the NFC East looks absolutely terrible is well, so there's still a division title that can very easily be one there.
I mean, I personally would have felt better about it and about them if they would have just come out and won this game in a traditional fashion and played well the whole way and like showed that their offense was able to play wealth beginning to end.
I mean, it's an exciting way toe win, but like you said, it doesn't make you feel really exactly comfortable moving forward.
Momentum booster for sure.
Momentum booster, for sure.
But other than that.
I didn't I didn't exactly feel too confident in all the you know how Boyd love that.
I've been spewing for the for the last few weeks through the beginning of that game through the first, like through the first half? Um, like I said, Exciting, exciting way toe win.
But I don't know.
I don't know what I feel about my cowboys moving forward.
I'm sure you don't want to talk too much more about this game.
There'll be, ah, subject of conversation pretty much every week, moving forward.
Anyhow, let's talk about the Packers.
Just dominating the lions.
Um, it looks bad early on, Looked troublesome for the Packers.
Couldn't stop anybody, especially on the ground.
Uh, Stafford looked pretty good.
Marvin Jones caught a ball right at the goal line.
So I was like, Man, I gotta eat all my words.
But then the Packers just had a little bit of time.
They settled in their offense, took over defense, stepped it up a little bit, ended up doubling up the Lions in points.
I cashed all my bets.
I had so many bets on this game.
Um, point totals like crazy team totals, spreads all that good stuff. It all cashed.
I love this game.
Um, Henry, you were on the lions when we did our stream, you know? What did you see from the Lions? Is there any saving grace any retribution for this team? Or are the Packers just barn on far and away the best team in this division now? I mean, through two weeks, it sure looks like somebody is tops of the NFC North real quick.
Zach noticed it to you didn't say.
My cowboys and I picked up now real cute.
Jake, I don't know if I don't know if anybody saw my tweet, but like my brother, I tweeted out a screenshot of my brother, and I was texting conversations, and I'm just having so much fun trolling all you guys.
Well, there's parts of, you know, bits of truth.
And, like, I do have these feelings.
But I'm just taking it to another level isn't so much fun.
Yeah, I think if you're saying that here on the livestream, it's definitely a little bit true, But back to this Detroit Green Bay game, I mean, who, who who are we looking at? here.
Otherwise, in this division, Detroit has got issues.
I guess the only saving grace for the Lions is Kenny Golladay is gonna be back.
And this young secondary has got to keep improving.
Right? Jeff ***uda actually was the first game, and there were more more than one occasion where Davante Adams just took him to school off the line.
And, you know, as a rookie, you're gonna learn and grow from that and most guys he's might go up against They're probably not gonna be as good as Davante Adams.
Um, but yeah, Green Bay, I think in terms of the North right now, Minnesota's a mess.
The Bears defensively look great offensively again yesterday.
Inconsistent was decent performance in the first half.
In the second half, Stravinsky was back.
Mitchell, Travis Key.
So everybody is looking pretty good right now.
I honestly, at this point, I would still tend to say I might give the edge to Detroit to come back as there.
Their most what we call most formidable contender here is the season goes on.
I think if any of these teams the Lions, they're gonna be the ones who are gonna be closest at the end.
Yeah, before you go to and I just want to throw in there that Davante Adams a zgray tas he is.
And, you know, he looks phenomenal.
Like you said it took.
Took the young man to school, especially off the line.
He really didn't do too much in this game.
Only had a few catches, just a few fantasy points.
Um, obviously Erin Jones, a monster day overall top score had, like, 54 points in PPR leagues.
Uh, but the Packers were able to get it done outside of Davante Adams.
So that's just even better sign moving forward when you have such a good day offensively.
And you don't even have your top guy.
You know, producing that much throughout the day.
Great sign for packers moving forward.
Gunners lover 1 92.
Thank you very much for a tip 10.
Or what did you see in this game? Yeah, the so Davante Adams hurt his hamstring in the game, and it's definitely a little concerning for a guy that also had soft tissue injuries last year.
And now you're seeing the repeat here? What? I'm hoping that happened in this game is They just didn't really see the need to play them because they just started running it up on the lines and they were like, Go ahead, take your rest like we don't need you back in this game But it's definitely something to keep an eye on.
And Erin Jones was just straight unbelievable in this game, Like last year, he looked like he just leveled up from a talent standpoint and on that run, that long touchdown run that he broke off like, I swear he wasn't even running out like 100% like he kind of just hit the hole.
It looks like slow motion and they couldn't catch up to him and he was just gone like he looked amazing in this game and he's somebody that I think a lot of people were starting to fade a little bit going into the draft because they draft a J Dillan and they didn't really make any major improvement of the offense.
And he's just doing exactly what he did last year and he's gonna be great going forward and going off of just the Packers in general, like they look like complete contenders I mean, you compare them thio the Niners, who they face in the playoffs last year in the NFC championship game.
And they those teams look like there are two totally different trajectories right now with all of the Niners injuries and the Packers just looked strong. They look great.
Like you said, the divisions rough like I don't see how they're not one of the top teams in the NFL going forward.
Yeah, and I mean, line makers, they're gonna have to start respecting them.
And unfortunately, their numbers, they're probably gonna get a little bit longer, but their odds have been pretty favorable these first couple of weeks.
Like I said on when Henry and I were discussing our bets, I said it earlier throughout the week to last week.
I mean, that that was such an easy line for me to take, especially against the Lions team.
That was so beat up, um, defensively in the secondary especially.
But then the packers came out, were able just run all over him, too.
I mean, that was an easy line for me to take.
I teased it all the way up to 7.
5 and eight in a couple different bets.
Uh, like I said, I took the Packers team total over, like, really easy First week underdogs killed it then, too.
So, um, definitely some favorable odds out of backers these first couple weeks as far as bedding.
Um, definitely going to be respected as a real team, though moving forward now, after two very convincing wins in the first two weeks of the season, we have a ton of injuries that we're gonna that we're going to get to some, well, deep dive a little bit more deeply into because of their severity because of the names attached to the people on those injuries.
But before we do, because that's gonna take a while, do you to have any other games or any other story lines that you wanted to touch on before we move on to the bucket load of injuries here that we've got well throughout the Seahawks Patriots game last night.
Just another dogfight between those two teams and Russell Wilson is a bona fide M v P candidate.
Right now he's it's so fun to watch him right now.
Uh, just glad that they're letting them cook, and, uh the Patriots.
I mean, are the Patriots and Cam Newton like I was off of them all off season, But he's really impressed me and has really made me change my opinion on him through two weeks.
Yeah, I totally agree.
Tam looks great. Patriots.
I mean, there is some drop off in town on the defensive side.
And when you're going up against a guy like Russell Wilson, who I couldn't believe when they were talking about that on the air that he's never received an M V P vote, let alone win it, that's crazy.
This guy has been good his entire career.
So this might be the year for Wilson.
Honestly, I fully agree with you there, but back to New England, they look great.
And for the defense you had going up against that caliber of an offense, there's gonna be some some ebb and flow there in terms of just how you come out looking in scoreboard, I think for sure three game that I would want to throw out.
I guess for me I would be Washington and Arizona.
I was completely wrong on that game.
I like football team to go in there and definitely cover the spread.
And I even had them winning out, right? And you know, Arizona surprised me.
I guess that z only back and look at it.
Um, they built a big lead early.
And, yeah, Washington's offense.
We know it's shaky.
Kind of a little bit more reliance on Antonio Gibson and J D McKissic in terms of touches out of the backfield.
There may be some clarity there, Peyton Barber.
Maybe a fluke, or is he just gonna be that goal line guy? We'll see.
I think you won't touch yesterday, but Arizona impressed me and the defense through the first two weeks.
San Francisco I get it.
They're banged up Week one and football team.
Not a great offensive threat overall, but the Cardinals defense is held it together.
And that's something that I did not see coming here as we began the season a couple weeks ago.
Wizards Warrior Thank you very much for that tip.
That was very generous.
Thank you, everybody that has ever tipped us in the past or tips us in this stream.
We appreciate the interaction for sure.
Um, Cardinals defense, an amazing stream this week.
I picked them up in multiple leagues, did not disappoint.
The other thing, too, is, um I was I was just on the under the in that game just because if I felt like both teams, both defense is we're gonna play well.
Both teams were going to struggle on scoring points.
They scared me at the end, especially with as much success as the Cardinals found able to move the ball on offense and things like that.
But, um, I heard a stat that this week it was like the eighth most touchdown scored all time in a week of the NFL or something like that, like all the over **** like crazy and just touchdowns, where, um, plentiful this week.
I don't know exactly where that stat came from.
Came from her, if that's that is exactly true.
But I heard it somewhere on some legit radio station.
Did you hear the same thing? Henry? Well, I didn't hear the stat, but I can tell you that I have heard news that would go along the lines of that stat.
And that is that Sports books out in Vegas this weekend.
They just got crushed.
And typically when a sports books getting crushed, that mean public's always gonna be betting the overs and the favorites, which if, you know, there were a lot of points, a lot of overs, we're gonna be happening.
We saw a lot of favorites when, Yesterday as well, so those would tie handed him.
I didn't hear that stat, but that isn't surprised me because it just like this week was just so fun.
Like I felt like from a fantasy football perspective, and I just felt like there were so many points and then that kind of just proves it, but also going back to the Cardinals a little bit.
I'm a Cardinals fan, so it's pretty nice toe here.
You guys talk about the Cardinal, especially for a team that hasn't had a lot of success.
And, uh, like I saw, I had their defense in my like, money league and they look great and they have a pretty, like, nice schedule coming up.
I mean, I think they have a lions next week and then they get the Jets two weeks after that, so they're looking like they're going to be a pretty consistent option for the next few weeks at least.
So the going back to the Cardinals again? The one thing that I wanted to say it was just such a crazy week of touchdowns and hitting the overs.
I ended up hitting one of the under, so I just felt nice about that.
Um, but yeah, I mean, the cardinals obviously show that their offense works.
DeAndre Hopkins obviously is.
In addition, that meant something That was a great addition.
He was worth everything that they forum, which was hardly anything.
Bill o Brien's an idiot.
Eso It's all working out well for the Cardinals, Um, Russell Wilson as well, going all the way back to him.
It amazes me, too, that he's never received an M V P vote because he is a polarizing figure and a lot of people either do or don't like him.
But like so many people like him, so many people think he's just, you know, phenomenal at football.
Love to watch you look at his stats.
It is ****ytics, things like that.
So just the fact that nobody's ever been like I'm voting for Russell Wilson ever, uh, that that pretty much blows my mind.
And then I got a question on the Cardinals.
And J e. I guess I could ask this for Tanner.
If he's a fan, what do I do? Christian Kirk.
I've got him here on one of my leagues and I know a lot of people would have drafted him as well.
Yeah, he's on my bench, But Larry Legend Higher snap percentage yesterday.
Higher target share.
I'll produced in by far in terms of fantasy scoring.
I think Kirk just pulled it up here.
Wide receiver, 60 on the week in terms of PPR scoring.
That's downright near another guy I wanna talk about later in the show who I think is on the rise.
But what are your thoughts on Kirk? Yeah, so that's a really good question.
It all it feels like like they always drop place for him and try to get him involved in the offense like they'll get him on reverses.
And he seems like they're designated player for that, and it just feels like for some reason, it just doesn't quite work out with him, like when they want to get him going.
And I can't really tell you why that's the case like maybe he's like sometimes he looks explosive when he touches the ball.
Maybe he's just not quite as good as they want him to be, because I mean the second round draft pick like he has the pedigree, uh, you.
The signs are there for him to be good, like you stepping into his third year, like had a really nice target share.
Last year's higher than I expected when I went back and did the research and looked at it.
But I honestly feel like you can probably drop in.
I I don't think like I think it's gonna be hard when he hits on a good week, and I just don't think he's shown enough like he's a tough player.
Thio try and judge, but he hasn't shown me enough as a as a Cardinals fan.
Yeah, he's a guy.
I love the Texas second.
I'm back in college, too, So it's just disappointing.
Zach, in the chat, is saying that Arizona's gonna live tight ends this season because the offensive only can't block makes sense.
So Kirk is on the field as much so maybe those that there's all would tie hand in hand with decreased target share.
Decrease snap percentage.
Jake, take it away. Out.
I was just looking.
He was on the field for 61% of the snaps and the next to Arizona receiver Isabella.
And sure, Field are only 18.2 and 6.5%.
So you know Fits is on the field for nearly 80% of the snaps.
Yeah, just like it doesn't make sense for a guy that's on the field that much on that, like of a high volume offense for him, not Thio produce more.
And I keep thinking like this is where it turns around.
This is where it turns around, and it just hasn't yet.
Well, I guess then those of you who owned him out there, um you know, you pulling on the hope for you empty your roster spot spot for somebody else that produces, I guess, at a higher rate or makes him or of their opportunities, I guess I don't really have much more insight than whatever Tanner can offer.
So we shall move on the very last thing I wanted.
Thio touch them for good.
The injuries is Cam Newton.
You can tell how well he's playing, and you could tell how much of the public perception of him has shifted because I'm that I'm that.
Well, first of all, he's getting praised in in a loss, and it's pretty much as good of a lost A Z you can have, like they look good.
They lost by five points, which made me and others that had 4.
Very, very happy.
Yes, Henry had it, too, apparently.
I mean, that game could have easily been, you know, a field goal or two point type of game, but the Seahawks found a way to make it a five point game.
So thank you very much, Seahawks.
But my whole point is that camp got absolutely blown up on that on that last play.
There, he spun through the air and, like, you know, if this would have been during his time in Carolina or when people were still like Greg and I'm and stuff that would have been made up in a bunch of names and like people would have been, you know, giving them **** and everything for just because you have said anything like that.
It was all positive.
It was all you know, Cam Newton.
Yeah, but the only one who doesn't eat meat anymore.
What's that? I can't hate this Patriots team.
Like I know the Patriots have been the big bad enemy that, like all NFL fans like you, either love him or you hate him here for the last What decade? Maybe.
And growing up is a Jets fan and still being a suffering Jets fan.
I've always hated the Patriots, probably more than the next guy.
And I can't hate this Cam Newton.
Bill Belichick marriages.
Just It's like you wouldn't expect it to me.
I love it like I'm here in Buffalo and I gotta deal with all these rabid bills fans saying This is their here.
I'm all in the New England, but when this e don't know if it's just me, but I can't eat this, too.
No, I mean, that probably shows more about your thoughts on Tom Brady.
You know he's gone, and all of a sudden you don't mind the Patriots.
It's probably more of a Tom Brady thing than it ever was a patriot than you know.
But either way, uh, it just found it interesting that instead of Kim getting any sort of anything, any jokes or any negativity, nothing.
Everything was just positive.
Even though we got completely blown up, you really didn't even get close on that last play like they knew it was coming.
They bottle them up, you know, well before the one yard line, if I remember correctly.
So he wasn't even that close.
But nobody said anything about camp.
So it just is interesting to me how the public public perception and, uh, you know people's opinion on him quickly changes, especially after two weeks of fun football to watch.
So I make a bet with my dad every year where we each pick three teams, and they have to have, like a women like the biggest win differential.
So that could be like less wins or more wins.
And last minute he swapped out the Jets for the Patriots this season, essentially saying the Patriots were going to do a lot worse than they did last year.
But I'm feeling pretty good about that after watching those two teams through these two weeks.
Because the Patriots look great and the Jets were gonna have a hard time like winning ball games, and you're too and already right? So I mean, you're already getting to 10 games.
Getting to 10 games is the goal that will probably get you in the playoffs, especially in this'll season, where there's an extra spot now in each division are excuse me in each conference.
So I mean, you're already to two weeks in.
You got two games down.
Even if they slip up down the line or something like that.
I think this is definitely a 10 1 type team.
They look pretty good.
They also get Thio, continue to play the Jets, and they get to play.
The Dolphins again, who didn't look too bad gave the Bills run for their money.
And, of course, the Bills and Patriots games should be fun to watch this year as well.
Um, anything else before we move on to injuries, I know we got a ton of injuries to talk about.
We should probably get started on that.
The only other thing I would mention is, well, oven effort from the Chargers yesterday.
It was kind of upsetting, to be honest, to see them fall short against Kansas City.
They put their heart and soul into that game.
So we've also there in the overtime missing plays because he was just gas.
Yeah, I know you hate to see that, but, you know, limited conditioning.
Offseason Knowing that was gonna be concerned, you could see how hard those guys played.
And yeah, credit to bucker man to 58 yarders.
That was probably New England.
Seattle was great, but that was the other game yesterday, um, joys to watch.
Yeah, I was gonna I was gonna bring this up when we talked about Tyronn Taylor in a bit.
I didn't think there was any way.
You know, he was going to get his starting job back after seeing what we saw, Herbert.
I mean, I thought he looked like you fit in.
I thought he looked good.
Especially having zero preparation.
Um, you know, having to start with not only zero preparation during the week, but almost zero warning because Taylor apparently got hurt right before or during warmups.
So literally zero warning, he comes out, he's able to put that kind of performance.
Yet his head coach said this week, you know, there was a lot of things that were not necessarily disappointed, but there's a lot of things they didn't see out of him and a lot of things he needed to work on.
Still, so they were going back to Tyrod as their starter.
E I was like, What? But if you're trying to work on things and you know you saw that much promise out of him, all these other quarterbacks just get thrown right in and are asked to work on things on the field when they have worse situations in front of them.
Like, why not let him work for this team? Why you're going back to Tyrod Taylor? You know, I don't know.
What do you guys just starts there? I guess we'll start with Taylor.
His injury right now, I believe, is a week to week type thing.
It's his chest, but apparently he's still the starting quarterback for these charges.
What do you guys think? Yeah, I mean, I thought Herbert was really impressive.
I mean to come out when you're not expected to be the starter and then toe almost beat the division rival in Super Bowl champion chiefs like I don't know how you don't come out and kind of just give him the nod, that this is our guy going forward like I thought he looked poised, made a lot of really good throws like he was fast like That is another element to his game that I liked.
And then for Anthony, Linda, come out and say that Tyrod Taylor is like our guy going forward.
If he's 100% I don't know, it's just a little questionable.
I I really liked how Herbert looked, and I would love to see him like, Take the reins.
Yeah, he was great, even from a fantasy football perspective, if we go that route and looking at his performance was to be 13 on the week behind Jared Goff, who was a few 12 and then look at these names ahead of Ben Roethlisberger.
Aaron Rodgers with Mark Jackson, Matthew Stafford to Shawn Watson, Carson Wentz, Philip Rivers e mean, yeah, all those guys were playing defense is to varying levels of difficulty, but that's an impressive baby right there out of Justin Herbert.
He threw a pick.
Yeah, but, you know, his stats were still flying across the board picks.
They're gonna happen, especially for rookies, and that Chief's defense is no slouch, either.
Speech back, normal amount of different pressure looks that he will bring on quarterbacks.
And we saw him really trying to go after it late in the game and it was close there and Foster Herbert and I thought overall, he held his poise very nicely, getting no notice like e ahead of that start.
I think to me, it just kind of, you know, it makes you further question Anthony Lynn.
I know some people are fans.
Some people aren't big fans of his coaching and what he's done with the Chargers so far.
For me, it was just tough to see them lose that game as well as they played as well as he played.
And, yeah, the Chiefs are a great team.
All credit to Patrick Mahomes and then coming back.
But even if Tyrod Taylor is back on the field here as a starter, I don't think we'll be waiting too, too long for another Justin Herbert start because a kid look great.
I, for one am very glad, very appreciative of how this football game went down because if the charges would have won that game, I would have had to have not been a fan of Herbert out.
Just out of the fact of you know how sometimes when you're gambling, you have that one game where just you feel so confident in it that it's like your little cherry on top, where you just added to every parlay and you added to every bet because it's like a guarantee.
So it's just extra. You just throw it in there.
That was the chief's money line for me this week, and so I had so much riding on on them winning the game.
I knew I wasn't gonna cover the spread, but I just needed them to win the game.
And, you know, they go out, they win it so I can be happy for Herbert.
I can appreciate how he played instead of holding a grudge over him for the rest of my gambling, uh, career.
Um, so this game worked out well for me.
I think Herbert, uh, obviously, like I said, I think he showed he belonged out there.
I think he held his own.
I think he looked pretty good, like it's not like he came in and he put up that type of performance and he put up those type of numbers against, I don't know, name any struggling team.
You know, whatever teaching it was against the Yeah Jeffs, it was against the Chiefs.
It was in a very tough position.
So, um, I think 100% credit that to Justin Herbert.
I think he's going to be pretty good moving forward as long as we get that quarterback that we saw this last week.
You know, hopefully there's not too much regression or too much.
You know? I guess everything changes once you there's some film and defense is start to study and figure you out.
But from what we saw and given the situation looks good for Justin. Herbert.
Um, you got to remember too.
That team is built for success now, right? The only question, really is that quarterback I know pounds even center is out for the year with that injury sustained, I believe in week one was when he suffered the injury.
Maybe was prior.
Don't quote me on that, but they got the receivers Keenan Allen like Williams, these air talented guys, you got a talented backfield defense for my mind could be one of the sleepers in the NFL, I think, this year, as long as they stay in good health.
Holding the Chiefs Thio 20 points yesterday, that's crazy.
So if if If Herberts the right call a quarterback, I think Anthony has just, you know, admit it and go with it, because things Chargers team is ready to win now.
And really, all they need is someone who can not limit the turnovers, manage the game.
And if Herbert's ready to do that, is worth the year go with.
Did you guys see the article that was going around Twitter, where it was calling Harrison Buck or the Patrick Mahomes of kicking on how there was nobody they couldn't think of anybody else that was nearly as good as him or on the same level of him.
So, like intentionally taking a shot at the Ravens and at Justin Tucker, Justin Tucker is obviously the best kicker in the world.
It was pretty funny article.
I love to hear that because so, like in my money league, uh, the rules air so different.
But it's still my favorite league butt kickers are actually really important and I took Bucker in the sixth round in that league last year.
So just to watch him do what he did and like for him to get all this love and respect like and I pulled out the championship in that league last year.
So I love to see any bucker love get thrown around anywhere.
Yeah, and he's He's another young guy in Kansas City.
You know that that team literally is built for long term success.
If they could figure out how to keep everybody together.
Hey, everybody, keep everybody happy.
I mean, it's everybody all the way down through the kicker.
Um, that's a young superstar at their position.
So Kansas City Chiefs fans, you guys were set for years and years to come.
Uh, I knew as soon as the game started, you know, my 8.
5 and eight lines on Kansas City probably gonna lose.
But again, at that point, I had so much more riding on the money line, All I cared about was that they want ended up winning because of Buck herself.
Thank you. Definitely giving a ****.
Um, let's hop into the injuries because we are already almost 40 minutes and we haven't even started talking injuries we got.
We're going to touch on top overall fantasy performances as well and then get you off Thio Monday Night Football.
Let's stick with kind of a Chargers relation.
A relative of a important charger.
Make Bosa goes down tears his a c l.
I mean injuries.
Just starting to stack up for that San Francisco 40 Niners team.
The defense has already down.
I'm forgetting, I think, one other defensive linemen.
Of course, you've got the offensive injuries as well.
What's on the horizon for this San Francisco team? Obviously the division up in question.
Seattle looks amazing.
Rams look really good.
E keep going off is just going to be a ride it out type year and then have to come back.
Obviously, Jimmy Garoppolo, another injury that we should just talk about right away.
Jimmy Garoppolo probably gonna be out for a few weeks as well.
Uh, with a high Oh, wait, no, it says, Excuse me.
He's probably gonna be playing through it with a high ankle sprain, but he's, you know, one hit away or one tweet away.
from having to leave a game or having to leave from multiple weeks.
Let's talk about the 40 Niners a little bit, Tanner.
What do you What do you give me something on the Cowboys? E.
I have never seen a team gutted so much in one week before.
I know they were they complained about the turf at MetLife Stadium is being a big reason, like why that happened.
But I mean for, I mean for Jimmy G.
Uh, Solomon, Thomas.
Most are all Thio anti Evan Kohlmann.
Although experience injuries like that like it's like it's absolutely concerning for them as a as a team going forward.
And this team, I think, is just so talented all around and so well coached that I think they're gonna be able to withstand thes injuries to a certain extent.
But, I mean, for the like course of the season, I'm worried about them.
I mean, as a Cardinals fan, I'm definitely not happy about any injuries that happen, but it definitely helps the division.
That's so tough with also the Rams and the Seahawks, and, uh, he most, er I mean, I gotta throw some respect on that guy's name like, How does a player that's that good go so long in the league without, like, being picked up and just being coveted? Like he had the highest, uh, like MPH for any player in the last five years and, like, broke his own record for it like faster than Tyree kill? I mean the guys and the guys in saying And, uh, it's just sad to see so many injuries happen for what is a really good team.
Yeah, I think when I look at the defense, that's kind of what Tanner said.
You know, Nick goes is a huge loss.
You could argue of that defense, and you already done Richard Sherman here for at least the next two weeks as well.
But concerning the defensive line, San Francisco rotates so many guys through there that almost apt to say they can recover.
They can get by in that regard a little bit.
The bigger concern for me at this point is offense.
Garoppolo is week to week, and then you've got the backfield situation now becoming a problemas well, along with a decimated receiver corps.
Already, bringing Yayuk is promising to me, and I'm still like him as a rookie receiver.
But he saw they got in this passing game right now.
We had a good day yesterday, but he's filling in for George Kittle.
There's injuries all over this offense.
And so, I guess for me looking at the backfield, San Francisco has got to do something here in my eyes.
I know you have Jeff Wilson, who could step in, and Jerick McKinnon is going to be in line for much larger workload than I think the 40 Niners would have envisioned.
But mostly it's gonna miss.
You gotta think at least the next week or two weeks, Tevin Coleman is gonna miss a few weeks.
Is this the team that goes out and brings in Devante Freeman? It could happen here.
I could you know, this would be one of the landing spots.
Potentially, uh, Shanahan was with him in Atlanta.
So there's that connection there.
There are other teams in need of a running back here, probably much more than San Francisco as well, given that you have McCain and and Wilson, but this, you know, it wouldn't I wouldn't put it past and to make this move assed, faras prognosticating The future, I guess for the 40 Niners they get a break and that their next three games were still all against East teams the Giants, Eagles and Dolphins the next three weeks on.
Then they have the Patriots five weeks out.
So they avoid playing within the division for the most part here until the back half of the schedule.
And they're going to need this time to get healthy, get their core guys back if they are going to contend in the NFC West, because I think if the first two weeks prove anything, it's that I was right about one thing in the off season, and that's this.
This is the best division in football.
Yeah, I don't think you're gonna wanna be taking the San Francisco 40 Niners on the spread through these next coming weeks.
But as far as actually losing the game, um, I think they obviously still have the ability to do enough on offense.
They have a coach that configure things out, has had proven that he's obviously one of the best coaches that football has right now, and even though they have a lot of injuries.
They also have a favorable schedule.
They have time to get healthy.
I think in the long run, they're going totally fine again.
Not not big on betting this 40 Niners team the next couple weeks, but I think they're gonna be They're gonna end up being totally fine and these injuries are goingto they're gonna pile up, you know, And you might as well have them at the beginning of the season rather than at the end of the season.
Especially when you're 40 Niners team who has obvious hopes looking back towards the Super Bowl Super Bowl losers last year, of course, to Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs.
Uh, any other thoughts on this 40 Niners team before we move on to, uh, another team who is just starting to become depleted and not in a lot a lot worse situation than the 40 Niners? And that is the New York Giants.
But any other any other thoughts here on the 40 Niners play? Well, I can help your transition to the Giants if you want Jake, that's the Niners opponent next week.
And the lines I just pulled up here draftkings quick. So That's what I'm referencing.
But it's Niners minus 4.
5 right now, and the over under is 41.
I mean, I know the Giants lost, say, Kwan Barkley, but when you don't even know who the quarterback's gonna be for San Francisco, it might be a play on the Giants here.
This number for me getting over a field goal.
Yeah, I mean that Z not bad at all.
I mean, Cyclone Barkley obviously a massive part of this team.
But he, uh, I think you have good numbers week when I can't remember. Exactly.
But the Giants were not not feeding him the ball 50 times a game like they were trying to use other parts of their offense trying to use Daniel Jones trying to work the ball down the field.
So obviously losing him for the rest of the season, that really sucks.
But it's going to force other players.
Thio get better, be better develop.
It's gonna put a lot more pressure on Daniel Jones.
I mean, this this Giants team is, you know, might might have a decent matchup because of what's going on with the San Francisco 40 Niners this week, but they're not a favorable matchup moving forward in the year.
This team is not a team that's in a great position.
Toe bounce back.
They have obviously no hopes of getting their star players back like the 40 Niners dio.
I mean, is there anything that's going, going right or anything positive that you guys could point out for the New York Giants and their fans? It's not looking good.
I, um I mean, for the Bears to do what they did to them and yeah, I mean, there's not a lot of positive feelings over here.
Yeah, yeah, it is ugly.
I just brought up that game from a betting perspective of, you know, I might be tempted here, depending on how this line moves to go with New York.
And this game against San Francisco.
The weakness and the Giants pass defense is the secondary.
The weaknesses in the Giants defense is the passing defense.
Uh, yesterday was a little discouraging, though, in that David Montgomery was able to run all over them.
Uh, bear is really making a concerted effort to run the football, But for San Francisco.
Where is the offense gonna be coming from? I mean, I know the Giants defense is bad, but, man, you might have a backup quarterback.
You're gonna be down the 3rd and 4th string running backs unless something changes.
This is the spot where I would be looking hard and, Oh, by the way, you know, we saw Kyle Shanahan last year 2019 when they would have back to back games in a different time zone.
He'd keep the 40 100 right there.
A couple of teams did that.
I believe in San Francisco was one of them.
You can't do that.
The NFL's covert policies being the 40 Niners flew to New Jersey yesterday or this weekend.
Rather play the Jets yesterday, and then they had to fly back all the way to the West Coast.
They're gonna be coming back, same place, same time next week to play the Giants in the Meadowlands.
But they couldn't stay in the East Coast.
That's a lot of miles to rack up here in a couple of weeks.
So you wonder how that kind of plays into it.
They're banged up, you know, as we've already touched on.
It's kind of a good spot here, I think, to bet on the Giants.
So if you need me to give something positive, Giants fans, uh, New York's played hard despite all the adversity and the injuries of their own that they've suffered in the last two weeks.
But that would be the positive one.
And given us, I would back him this week against the 40 numbers on that minus plus 4.
So let's stick on this for a little bit a little bit longer with Barkley being out.
Um, obviously, the New York Giants wrong game has to come from somewhere right there.
Backup running backs are Dion Lewis, Wayne Gallman, and the other one is e had it right here.
Elijah Penny, um, Dion Lewis got 87% of the snaps, obviously, because safe on Barkley went down pretty early on.
He Onley attempted to rush the ball a very small number of times.
10 times in 87% of the snaps.
He did run 42 routes.
Dion Lewis has been a really good back in his career.
He's been a difference maker, a decent guy in fantasy at different points of his career, mostly with the Patriots.
But is there? Is there anybody Dion Lewis owned? 0.
9% of leagues, Wayne Gallman owned and 0.
4% And I didn't look up Elijah Penny Bunch er, he's owned in a very, very small percentage as well.
Any validity to picking up these guys on the waiver wire? Or is the Giants running game just kaput? Faras fantasy goes this year.
Could put, uh I mean yeah for a team that I don't that I think is gonna struggle to move the ball.
They're probably gonna give the ball to multiple different guys there.
And I don't know how you could possibly pick one of them up and put them into your lineup with any confidence.
Yeah, I think for me, it's gotta be Dion Lewis here.
We've seen what we saw.
Say Barkley lose time last year, and Wayne Dahlman didn't really do anything there.
And to Tanner's point, this is a team that's gonna be struggling to move the ball.
They're gonna be playing from behind.
Um, they're gonna be throwing it more, and I think that's you know, the focal point of this offense now as well, assuming that these receivers gonna stay healthy.
Which Sterling Shepard suffered a toe injury yesterday, too.
So the receiving course getting a little banked up here is well, but that's gonna be how New York is going to have to move the ball and score.
So if I'm picking up any Giants back, e think it's gonna be Dion Lewis? Um, I know when Goldman is the quote unquote handcuffed, as you know, the guy who should be able to be in there on every down.
I just don't love him as a football player.
I guess if I'm desperate, you could look at him.
But it's I would rather not.
When Goldman was a healthy scratch, they did work out Devante Freeman. Today.
Freeman, I mean, might not be a bad place for him to go.
If he's not getting any other offers, um, or the Giants might end up offering a more money because of a desperate situation trying to sal***e their season at some point.
Since it's so early on, you never know.
Um, Goldman totalled 118 yards on his one full game as a starter last season, so I guess Goldman.
You know if he's there, if he's healthy, if he's starting, maybe he is worth a consideration.
Sample size there, but 118 yards in one game.
Not too terrible, I should mention.
Of course, they want Barkley, A, C l Tear, Nick Bosa and a C L tear.
We are going Thio complete the three pack here of a C L tears with Portland.
Sutton, unfortunately, was injured.
Wasn't able to play.
Tries to play week to tears.
Ah, bad year for everybody, but an especially bad year for Portland Sutton.
Um, this this affect Ah, lot of guys across the board.
Obviously we know Drew lock injured as well.
He sprained his A C joint will probably be out for several weeks as long as he makes a regular recovery.
I was reading anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks.
Um, this Philip Lindsay's out for the next couple of weeks.
This is a beat up Broncos offense, probably a team that you're also gonna want to consider.
Avoiding in the next couple weeks is far as the betting world goes, I wanna ask you guys, though.
One guy that is healthy, one guys, One guy that's still in there.
Melvin Gordon is.
Is his offense being this banged up? Is that a good thing or a bad thing for him? As Faras fantasy go, I think it's definitely a bad thing.
I mean, I think it's just gonna allowed defense is to key in on him.
Hey was ableto have a pretty good fantasy day.
He caught that ball in the end zone on a really nice grab, actually.
But ultimately, like this is not the Broncos offense that people wanted coming into the year.
And it's most certainly not the offense that they were hoping to roll out there every week.
And I just I mean, it makes it harder to trust Gordon and similar to the Giants.
Situation with Ball's gonna be harder to move.
And it's definitely not good for the running back, although I will say the Broncos defense does did look pretty solid and has looked pretty solid.
But, yeah, it definitely hurts him.
Not a good, uh, those for a while.
Jerry Judy either.
I got him with one of my last picks, almost every single league I thought maybe by midseason Hey, might come in for might be a contributor.
But, man, this puts the whole broncosoffense weeks and weeks behind.
Obviously, Drew lock.
It was gonna come back, work himself back into form.
This is a pretty big blow to Denver in general.
Especially that offense.
What is your take on Melvin Gordon? And what's he going to contribute the next two weeks? I guess.
All in all, um, or next next 2 to 6 weeks anywhere in there.
Excuse me, E guess.
All in all, are you guys avoiding Melvin Gordon now, or is it gonna be a week to week matchup type basis is Henry.
What do you think? Three e.
Don't think you're avoiding him.
E think, given the draft out, you probably played for him.
He's at least lining up in the front spot.
So, you know, unless you have somebody better to plug in their natural dependent each and every week.
If you have a stuff stashed, your bank's not involved, guy.
But you can still in your line of hey, uh, all in all, I think yesterday I was shocked that tender stores as much as they did and, you know, at the offensive they were able to achieve, given the injuries and also going up against Pittsburgh defense that is among the league's best.
Maybe they were taking a little like you don't stress about in there, I don't know.
And then we could go on the other Flipside, too.
Is Jeff Driskel the worst backup quarterback in football? Definitely not.
Is he great? No.
There's a reason of the backup and not starting.
But, you know, the Broncos could be in a worse position here.
I think, Um, I guess I'll pivot from this and I want to talk about the receivers, though.
You know you're losing Courtland something for the year.
Uh, Jerry, Judy is gonna be the guy here.
I think in this offense we can all agree on that.
But another guy I'm excited about and he's probably gonna be available in your league with the other rookie of the problems wrapping. That's KJ Handler.
Yesterday we saw 47 snaps, 60.
3% of the snaps that the Broncos had offensively.
Handler was on the field.
That was actually a little bit more than Jerry Judy on their target share.
Exactly the same 18.
4 they lead the way Sutton was third with 15.
8 and then Tim Patrick, who had the highest snap percentage at 64.
I'm looking at handler here over 10.
We kind of know what he is just kind of that if I perceive the three or four in this offense invasion Hamilton and getting excited about s o the fact that Handler was on the field getting targets Uh, this is a guy that I'm looking to add here this week.
If I have this space available, especially Courtland Sautin owners and feel like a burning house replacement KJ handlers, investor option over.
And I'll throw out no fan out there through two weeks.
He looks awesome and they're gonna have to use them every week like I he really passes the eye test for me.
And I think he's a really solid option going forward.
Yeah, and backup quarterbacks or young quarterbacks they always love to use.
The tight end is a security blanket.
Anyway, it's a shorter pass to a bigger guy.
I mean, tight ends always get action when it comes to backup quarterbacks and no offense.
Obviously a pretty good tight end in general anyway.
So good play there as well.
Um, we already talked about Garoppolo.
Already talked about Tyrod Taylor.
Just a couple more.
I want to bust through quick response.
Adams had a bit of a tweet hamstring.
We talked about him a little bit yet.
Um, severity or the length that he's gonna be out is unknown.
Probably won't sit out.
But I guess the packers, um, have the packers have a week five by you get him, uh, going into the bye.
Or are you going to restrict his, um, his playtime or anything like that until he has that extra week off to get healthy? Or do you think the Packers, they're just gonna let him go full bore and trust himself toe to know what he could have? Is this concerns fantasy owners to because he already had, you know, already had a lackluster day and week to now if he's gonna hobble along through week five, that might be something to note.
I think this is a situation that I just don't We don't know a lot right now, so it's gonna be interesting to see the reports that come out over like the course of this next week, but like it is concerning for somebody that dealt with soft tissue injuries last year.
And I will say, though last year he like once he got over them, he got over them and then he was awesome to finish the year and I don't know how bad he tweaked it.
But like E, I just hope that it's not a serious as it was last year, and I guess we're going to see Yeah.
One report I saw here today said that it's not serious and that he will likely be able to go assume Is this next week? Of course, that could change.
Here's the week progresses throughout practice.
Uh, this Packers passing up was that we touched on how great Green Bay has looked, and I think that both at this point, if Adams is limited, especially, but even with him in there, Alan, Lazard and Marquez filed a scam.
We have got to be rostered.
There's just too much pop in this offense.
We saw Aaron Jones have a great day yesterday, and those guys, you know, they probably weren't those worst scores on your bench, either.
So those were two names that I'm looking to add from a standpoint.
If Adams is out, especially, they could be, uh, key contributors to your line up.
And I pulled up the schedule here for Green Bay.
Quick, you mentioned the week five by J Before that, they've got the Saints this week on Sunday Night Football, so that's kind of tough.
But then Atlanta next weekend.
Man, we know how bad this Atlanta defense is.
So from a fantasy standpoint, I'm even if Adams is in the lineup, I'm gonna want some MVS, uh, and cement Lazard.
If I congrats them in my leagues to be on my bench.
If I'm not using them this week, that Atlanta next matchup next week, that's a prime spot to throw them in the Flex.
Yeah, I would be interested to see now after this week, because neither one had a huge week, but they obviously didn't impact the game.
The receivers is the whole didn't need to have a huge week or didn't have the chance to have a huge week.
When Aaron Jones is busy going off for 56 points, so be interested to see what percentage they are rostered.
Actually, all look at that.
I hold it up right here.
Valda Stanton Link is rostered now.
And still only 17% of leagues.
Alan Lazard is rostered in 34% of leagues now.
So Lazard had a bump, but still almost seven out of 10 leagues.
He's going to be free.
He's gonna be available.
So go try and pick up one of those guys.
Even if even if Davante Adams misses only a week or two or doesn't miss any time at all.
Those guys were still worthy of being, at least on your bench.
You're not gonna wanna wait until it's too late.
And somebody eventually picks them up in week six or seven.
And the week nine comes around, you're in desperate need, and you're like, Oh, I should pick up one of the Packers.
Too bad they're gone.
So go pick him up now.
So, which one of those two would you guys be targeting? I guess that would be my follow up question.
You know, say that we're claims we're gonna go through and you're only gonna get one of these guys is it was harder MPs for you.
I've picked up MVS just because I simply I don't have room on my bench.
I like my benches too much to make room for two.
Um, What? You know, Packers receivers, in addition to not to Adam.
So I have a couple of weeks I've targeted Lazard.
I mean, he is rostered and nearly double the amount of leagues I've targeted.
Those are just because he has a little bit of a better history, better relationship with Aaron Rodgers.
He makes that that he is kind of more of that.
If you're gonna pick between the two of them, I think Roger's looks, lizards way and a deep ball situation.
First, he has a little bit less of a problem with drops.
I think obviously, MVS is a good a good pick up a good play as well, but you can only pick one.
I like Alan bizarre, um, just because of familiarity with the quarterback and because he's done it before, he's been able to make those big plays down the field, a bunch of beautiful touchdown catches to his young career Already.
I agree with you, Jake.
I think that relationship, like there's a clear relationship there with Rogers and Lazard, and we've seen him make big plays despite him being a young player and I would I would definitely bet on him.
I guess I'll play contrarian here, then real quick, and I'll say I like MVS a lot.
I think, this year and it's tough for me to say that, knowing what we've seen out of him in the past, but just looking at the numbers here from week to Ellen's art had the higher percentage of snaps in which he was on the field by just over 20%.
But it was MPs with a greater target share by almost seven eso.
You know, I think for me, of all the scandal ings, big play ability is something that gets me excited for fantasy.
Um, if Davante Adams is out, though, I might actually flip this choice.
I'm not sure just because I feel like Alan Lazard is you know that guy Rodgers can rely on real quick.
Um, but for me, I think if Adams is in and we're just looking at adding one of these guys, that's just it's tough because, you know, Marquez values family has been such a disappointment these last couple of years, I think from what most of us hoped he would be.
But I gotta go MVS here.
MVS does run nice routes.
I watched a few replays.
Aziz Fox is breaking him down, and he really does run.
Um, nice precise routes.
It's just like you said, a lot of high hopes, a lot of dropped balls, a lot of disappointment over his career so far, whereas Lizard has kind of always steadily been trending up.
So that's kind of why I would lean towards dessert.
Um, but either one, either one is available, probably in your league, and either one is worthy of being picked up. Zach says.
MVS led all NFL receivers in Red Zone looks, too, so that may not happen again throughout the season.
But, I mean, obviously, Aaron Rodgers is looking his direction and, uh, that target share that target.
That potential that share potential is, um, ever, ever growing with him, especially with the Vonta Adams out.
Ah, few injuries that I just want to touch on that, Really, Don't they affect the team real life football team a lot more than they do fantasy, really um trade Tavon Young Sad story.
Young cornerback drafted by the Ravens.
Ravens like like them a lot last year.
Had a neck injury that helped him out the whole year.
Kept him out the whole year.
I finally got to play his first NFL football game and weak one this year.
This year, he suffer in week two of this year.
So this week he suffered a season entering ending knee injury.
So the Ravens air down a young, talented cornerback.
Um, I've read that they only have.
They have no more guaranteed money.
Uh, coming his way so they could cut him before his third year of his contract.
Even so might be a young cornerback on the move because of to season ending injuries in a row.
Unfortunate for him.
Season ending Achilles tear.
He is the safety for colts and will Fuller. Big surprise.
I don't even want to talk about it that much because I pulled everybody.
I told everybody a million times, and it's one of the reasons reasons.
I'm so down on on the Texans, and I thought it was a horrible decision to make will follow your number one.
Um, little surprise hamstring.
A nagging injury.
Uh, lower body injury.
Same thing that's kept him from playing.
I believe what I think.
He's played 16 games in the last five years, something like that.
I missed a lot of games in his career.
I think he's missed 20 games, and in his career will Fuller hurt hamstring? You guys want to touch on any of those injuries quick, unless we can move on and talk a little straight fantasy.
Yeah, just talking a little bit more about the Texans.
Like if you follow me on Twitter or like I've been down onto Shawn Watson all off season.
I mean, you lose DeAndre Hopkins, who has accounted for over 32% of his completions over the last two years.
Now you bring in a receiving corps that is so injury prone, especially when you're depending on Wolf Fuller to be that guy and takes the next step forward.
And then surprise, surprise.
Sorry, I said they ain't getting old like Brandon.
Brandon cooks Randall Cobb, like those guys were getting old, and they're injury prone on top of it.
Yeah, like the Shawn Watson is great, but you can't do it all by yourself and then I mean in the Bill O'Brien Bill O'Brien scheme isn't very inspiring.
So who's the Shawn Watson gonna be throwing the ball to every week like it z going to be an uphill battle for him all year? I think, and their defense is not good enough. Toe.
Be able to get rid of a talent like that on offense and be ableto only put up with, like, a okay offense.
Like your defense is not that good, and it always sucks.
Watt, because whenever he's healthy, whenever he's actually out there and playing the team is bad.
But then he gets injured on these years where they're like, actually looking like they could make the playoffs, or they're well above 500.
Everything falls part and, you know again.
Now they're in this situation where they're just a bad football team and believe they got healthy J.
Watt, don't they? So it's just never it's never worked out for the for the Texas.
Yeah, I had a few more injuries to the discussion first.
Two are actually on the defensive side of the ball, but could have implications as far as looking at the teams from the betting standpoint, Way talked about our little NFC North discussion earlier in the show.
How Vikings? They're just not what a lot of people thought they were.
They lost Anthony Bar for the season, Um, or until likely for the season.
The only guy I've seen come back from a torn peck in the season is JJ Watt.
Anthony Barr is gone.
So that's just another blow to the Minnesota linebacking corps.
That defense continues to trend in the wrong direction on then, for Seattle last night, we saw Bruce serving go down in their Seahawks are pretty sure at this point that that is a 20 c.
L. So he's probably gonna be going here for years.
Well, uh, they weren't generating any pass rush in that game last night.
Three's New England and Cam Newton were able to hang around and kind of make a run there at the end like they were.
So that's a concern for the Seahawks going forward, for sure, and then offensively, with some fantasy implications.
I want to talk about the Indianapolis Colts, and they're wide receiver cord Paris.
Campbell is gonna be out indefinitely.
It wasn't a torn a c L.
He suffered, but its horn PCL is what I'm seeing eso from that standpoint, you're gonna be down.
We've already lost Marlon Mack.
Indianapolis's offense kind of thinning out here a little bit.
But even with no Campbell for a lot of yesterday's game, it was still kind of disappointing day for T.
Y Hilton and Michael Pittman.
They're out of USC, while Mo Alley Cox had, like, 16 fantasy points, I'm pretty sure, and he's normally known as a blocking tight end.
So what do you guys thoughts here? Who's River is gonna be looking Thio ous faras throwing the ball here going forward.
The Colts were playing the Vikings yesterday, and we know about this.
Minnesota defense is, and even the him.
Hines didn't replicate what he was able to do in Week one, so I was curious.
Your thoughts there.
That's the guy who you think you're going to get pretty steady production out of long as he's healthy and here he is healthy and Weeks one and two have been, uh, really disappointing.
I'm guessing t y Hilton, um, on.
Then you could take it or take it terror.
I'm guessing T y Hilton comes into forum eventually has a big week.
He's one of those guys in fantasy who you question year to year.
You're like he hasn't done anything for two weeks.
Three weeks? Should I benched him? And then when you end up benching him, he just absolutely goes off.
He's got 17 points in the first quarter like we saw Mike Evans this week.
My girlfriend less less than happy because she decided to bench him because of his performance.
Um, and then he goes off and yeah, so anyways, I digress about that, but he's probably a guy who just got a lock in and hope, you know, they figure it out and hope that he can get back to the T Y Hilton that we have become accustomed to seeing, um, over the past bunch of years.
But I think you gotta run it back again with the, uh, using the running backs in the passing game.
I mean, obviously both running back.
You can catch the ball.
Really Well, Jonathan Taylor, I'd like to 20 something point performance, so he shows he showed he belongs out there.
I think you're just gonna have to try and run it back on and use your running backs as efficiently and as much as you can.
You know what happened to Naim Heinz this week? Like I kept waiting for something to come out like he got hurt and practice or in the pregame and we didn't realize it.
I mean, um, I have it here somewhere.
Like he barely touched the ball, was not involved at all.
It was just the Jonathan Taylor Show, and I mean, the game script definitely allowed for that to happen because they got a pretty early and they just said Jonathan Taylor all game.
And I think that's what we're going to see going forward with the Colts.
I think they want to run the ball and they play the Jets next week.
So I think you're going to see an extremely similar game script.
There is just gonna they're just gonna give John Taylor in the ballgame.
And Jonathan Taylor is an absolute locked and loaded running back, one going forward, and I definitely have concerns of with the passing game in general, I really doubt Philip Rivers ability to support receivers on a consistent basis.
He loves the third of the tight end.
He loves the third of the running back and, like receivers, will have a good game here and there.
But Rivers struggles to throw touchdowns Like last year.
He had, like five games where he threw more picks than touchdowns.
Like I feel like we're gonna be looking at in November and Russell Wilson is, I mean and Philip Rivers is trying to throw as many touchdowns that Russell Wilson has through two or three weeks.
Um, so it's a team where I really like the running game, but, like, definitely and not excited to have pieces in that passing game, I guess if you're looking to injured tight ends, though, I mean, obviously, George Kittel and Jack loyal both believe, could be back here this week or next week.
Are you guys rushing to pick up Jordan Reed or no Alley Cox after this week's performance? Because for me, it's 100% radio.
I think Indianapolis just has more weapons in this offense.
Eso if I need a backup tight end I'm looking at it was available to grab one off of a weak performance.
I would I would see read Having this, uh, they again sooner than I wood****s are Ellie Cox.
I'm sorry, but the one thing that makes me a little hesitant on that is I would sooner suspect Jack Doyle would be injured again compared to George Kittle.
So I don't know what right would you guys go there if you were advising a tight end pick? Go ahead.
Yeah, I I think Eileen Reed Right there.
I thought he looked like he looked really good in that game, but so did Mohali Cox, But ultimately have kills out.
Uh, I think that I trust that Niners offense more to sort of feed the tight end position.
And Jordan Reed has done it in the past.
So I'm more like I'm more inclined to trust him than putting Moheli Cox in my lineup.
But Mollie Cox did Look, looks really good.
I mean, that dude is huge, like, I he's really hard to defend.
But I would I would be more inclined to pick up Jordan Reed if Pittle is out for any more than just last week.
Sure, I'll pick up breed, but I think he was probably like a one.
You've got to get it this week, you know, if you happen to pick him up, good for you.
It was a great call.
I don't think he's going to replicate the type performance that we saw again.
I think teams might pay attention to him or or given more respect.
Now, coming off such a big week, Onda again, I think it was gonna be back.
Is like you said, You know, the likelihoods of likelihood of him being hurt again.
Such a tough guy.
You know, a guy who been able to be healthy in his short career.
For the most part, I think he'll be back.
And I think greed is gonna, you know, once again do the Homer Simpson back into the Bush thing where, you know, he popped out, had two touchdown whatever, big game, and then he's right back in the Bush.
Unfortunately, I was going to pick up Jordan Reed.
I even asked, Yeah, I was trying to get debate back and forth.
I asked Zack his opinion.
I was deciding between Kosecki read And Logan Thomas.
I ended up not picking up read.
I ended up benching Kosecki and I started Logan Thomas.
So both of the tight ends that I did not end up playing went off for 20 plus.
And I started Logan Thomas who had, like, seven points or some like that, So, yeah, I don't know.
I would say go for it if you got the room.
Um, go ahead and take read.
But just don't expect another week like we saw in week two.
That would be my warning to you, um, Kosecki My only note on him because we could move on now to top fantasy performers.
Ah, lot some of these guys that we'll just talk touch on quick.
They're obviously starters every week.
Big name without performers, other guys, maybe a little bit further down the board or guys that probably aren't available in your league either.
But maybe guys toe keep on your radar for a future or just know about him.
Uh, Kosecki is the one that I wanted to talk about.
1st 27 points out of the tight end.
What a day ended up helping the dolphins cover the bread, which cost me money, and it's like he was on my bench, so I It was a lose lose all around in that game for me.
I don't really need to pay too much attention to him, I guess, Um, if you have him, I guess he proved that he's worthy of being kept or they're being played at a pretty much a nothing game and weak one.
But there you go.
Kosecki, 27 points.
I played myself.
I'm out of 27 points by picking up Logan Thomas, who still in the future I don't think locally Thomas is a bad bad.
Keep either big, athletic tight end up in Washington.
Jordan Review kind of talked about him already.
He put up 24 points.
First guy we could talk about, I guess. Erin Jones.
We talked about as well, 45.
What a day, Uh, the land today.
What a day, Uh, CD Lamb looks the best and has made the most immediate impact of all of these highly touted younger Cedars from this year's draft class CD Lamb with 17.
Of course, it came on a historic day for the for the Dallas Cowboys, which we already kind of talked about.
But man, on a day where Dak Prescott has 50 something points, four rushing touchdowns, he's doing it a lot of it himself.
The young receiver still manages Thio finagle his way to 17.
Um, I think CD Lamb is climbing the ranks and obviously showed he's an important part of this offense who probably is gonna produce on a week to week basis.
What do you guys think of CD lamb and where would you put him in comparison to the other young receivers that we've seen so far? Yes.
Eso this? Yeah, this one hurts me a little bit.
Uh, CD Land was my favorite receiver in the draft class, but I've been, like, really hyping up Michael Gallup all offseason like I was just really in on this Cowboys offense.
They were, uh, second and yards per play.
Last year, they got the new offensive coordinator and Kellen Moore, And I'm not the biggest Marquis Cooper fan like he kind of disappeared sometimes, and he's a little injury prone, and I'm just like Gallup is gonna be the number two receiver on a high volume offense and he's gonna get a ton of targets and a ton of looks.
And I was like, he is gonna be exactly what Calvin really is gonna be but at a like a couple around three round discount.
But I'm really worried about Gallup based on what we've seen from CD so far.
Like I thought CD was gonna is gonna be a little slow going for him at first as he worked his way into this offense.
But that hasn't been the case at all.
Like he looks awesome on the field, Uh, like, very solid fantasy performance.
And I mean, I definitely think he's a flex option going forward.
And it's not looking good for Michael Gallup, which is Michael Big on Michael Gallup to talking him up a lot.
You know, having a lot of compliments and praise for Michael Gallup.
And it seems like he's been the one that's gotten lost amongst all this talent in the first two weeks.
Yeah, I think when you talk about rookie receiver class for 2020 cdy, Lamb's been to spot right here first couple weeks, right? You know, they were every all the rate, which was how this class was so deep that the wide receiver spot and he's outperforming from Jerry.
Judy. I mean, we'll see what 100 drugs does tonight.
He's a little banged up, though.
Denzel Moons hasn't even really been in the field yet for the Jets.
Brandon you, because battling injury concerns.
So, uh, Justin Jefferson up and down in his first two weeks in Minnesota, so seedy land takes the cake there assed faras Rookie receivers are concerned.
Um, I'm gonna talk about another receiving corps in a second.
I wanted to bring up, though a name I brought up last week, and both you guys said, No way.
We're not roster game.
And that's tight end Dalton Schultz here for the Cowboy tight end, six on the week, 21.
8 fantasy points.
Are we going back to the well here? Because this is a role, Um, where I thought, like Darwin would really thrive this year, and now he's gone, and we've seen that Prescott consistently hit the tight end spot with targets so far as an NFL quarterback.
So I think we're you know, we're just talking about Jordan Reed and morally Cox.
He's the guy here in Dallas.
That's a tight end that I'm looking to add.
And you know he's gonna be widespread available here, uh, much sooner than I am either of those guys.
I might take a fly around because I'm stuck with Austin Hooper in so many leagues right now, I do not have a good tight end across any of my leagues.
Really, I think I Darren Waller in the fantasy flurry.
Uh, excuse me, Flurry Sports Fantasy Football Vampire League.
Wow, that's a mouthful to say.
I have Darren Waller in that, but the rest of them I have Austin Hooper or I'm just, you know, like I said, I had Kosecki and I'm trying to miss mess around, so I don't know.
That's the name I might take a flyer on.
And if he continues to produce at a weekly basis, I mean, it'd be really nice to have somebody.
I could just stick in there and not worry about it.
Every day already streamed my kicker in my defense every week.
I don't wanna have toe start doing a tight end across five different leagues as well.
Um, you got anything to add? Their FF nugget? Yeah, I think just that Cowboys Falcons game was so crazy.
And I think the game script allowed for Schultz Toe have the game that he did.
And I'm I'm still not sold like I mean, he's probably be throwing like Gallup having a good game.
And then you got CD. Cooper.
He's fourth option at best was coming out of the backfield is probably maybe the fifth option in the in the passing game.
And I just don't see the volume their toe make him a good play.
Well, there, There we go.
We got a couple guys on opposite sides.
This will be a fun one to track.
So mark this one down, write down his name one more time.
Tell the people who were talking about Dalton Schultz.
Baby, we're gonna have, like, a weekly Dalton Schultz segment here on this Because you came up last week and I was coming up again.
I wanna throughout, like a tomb or conversation points for you guys. Just toe.
Give me some feedback on.
Yeah, let's do it.
I got a couple other guys specifically written down and then I mean, we can talk about whatever else.
Um, let's try and keep it So like, I don't know, 15 20 more minutes, everybody z eso the first one coming out of that Atlanta balance game eyes Russell Cage.
If he's available in your league, you got to go get him at this point.
Right back to back weeks with impressive performances.
He and Calvin Ridley with stars yesterday, not Julio Jones.
Gate had six catches, 46 yards and a touchdown.
So 16.6 fantasy points.
He's a monster roster for me if he's available, and I'm sure that you're gonna have somebody banged up here after this week or, you know, just kind of a fringe guy.
I think way talked about Christian Kirk earlier in the show.
That would be a swap that I'm totally okay with.
Adding Russell gauge and dropping Christian Kirk.
Uh, you know, sometimes you got to go with the hot hand and where you know the production is coming from in this Atlanta offense way.
No, that's gonna be there.
Here they are, high flying each and every week.
The other name just before I throw it to you guys is killing coal with Jaguars back to back weeks, double digit points, uh, 17.8.
It looks like yesterday in PBR, uh, in the loss to the Titans.
We've seen this from chemical before, where he's, you know, we have a couple of nice weeks, and then he's just disappears.
There's a lot of other potential amounts to feed here in this Jaguars offense.
Uh, you notional troll gonna grow.
You've got Chris Conley there as well.
And, of course, the big guy E J Chart, who hasn't had touchdowns here.
The first, uh, yesterday anyway, uh, eso you know, thoughts on those guys all Honestly, those those guys are.
I mean, they're great, a little bit down the board names and names that I am not that familiar with.
But I like the stats, and I will definitely look at them now, which is why we do this show.
And that's why we have each other is to help each other along and help each other to be better at fantasy football.
So those are honestly, guys, I'm gonna look into right away.
I think everybody else should as well.
Um, just Tanner, what do you think, and then I'll get back to a list that I Yeah, I like bringing a Russell Gauge.
Like you said, you kind of just got to go with the pick where you've seen it happen so far.
And I think he's pretty dependable, and he looks great.
Um, I have probably gonna be faced with that very same decision of swapping Christian Kirk out for him, and it's something I'm not gonna want to do.
But a Z, the Cardinals fan in me.
I probably won't do it because I want to believe in Kirk.
But if I'm giving fantasy football advice here, which I am, I would say drop Russell gauge for Kirk.
Uh, by the way, Calvin Bradley.
I mean, all that guy does score or his score scoring fantasy score in real life.
Four touchdowns in the first two weeks, averaging 31.
9 points throughout the first two weeks.
E anytime you have a guy that's producing like that his partner, he's gonna be taking a lot of attention away.
So anybody else on the field probably is going to benefit at some you know, some rate from that as well.
So, um, yeah, go ahead.
Looking at those two guys.
Calvin Ridley with somebody else I want to talk about.
So there we go. We just covered him as well.
I'm speaking of guys, Henry that you mentioned last week.
DeAndre Johnson was the name that you threw out there towards the end of the end of the stream.
Didn't really do too much in week one.
Actually had negative points when they were at halftime, when we talked about him, but full redemption and weak to 28.
They look good, man.
Deonte Johnson earned himself a spot on my bench.
I was gonna drop him if he did nothing again in Week two.
But a big week for him added to the points.
The unbelievable amount of points I left on my bench this weekend.
But Deontay Johnson, is he a solid play and the flex category moving forward or what do you do? What you see out of him.
You still like him? No, I still love him for sure.
The highest target share on the Steelers in terms of receivers.
Yesterday, second, most second highest, uh, snap percentage that he was on the field for Onley behind juju Smith Schuster at the wide receiver position.
Uh, for me, you know you're seeing Ben Roethlisberger looked at him now, and that's that was the only question Mark Wright was Johnson Do it with Roethlisberger as the quarterback, knowing that they didn't have that report already, and he's just blew the past.
I think the other contenders here, we saw Chase Claypool have a big catch yesterday for the score.
But to me, this offense, it's juju with one.
Johnson is the second option.
I think pretty solidly on Ben James Washington Chase. Click.
Well, we're gonna be interchangeable for me at the 34 ast faras a weekly flex.
I think you still have to be a little hesitant here and look at you know who is he gonna have lining up across from him but definitely needs to be rostered if he's somehow not? And you know he's that guy who's maybe matchup dependent weeks a week, but trending in the right direction.
I think after yesterday, for sure, I love the talent.
That's your you know you're gonna get your looks when you're on the field that much? You're just going Thio. Tanner.
Sorry to cut you off There.
Knows you get I completely love Deontay going forward.
Um, I mean, 13 targets last week and Pittsburgh offense just tosses the ball like he's almost looking like a b light out there.
Like he makes guys miss after he catches the ball, Um, like, he's gonna be like I drafted him in most of my leagues.
He I think he's gonna be one of those guys that is gonna be rostered on, like, a lot of championship teams at the end of the year.
And I think you can, like, definitely thrown in the flex spot.
Like I feel like the floors there with all those targets and all these looks.
And, like, he could just deliver you a huge game on any given week.
And, like, I think he's gonna be great.
That's the greatest thing I've heard all day.
Yeah, well, if it's since you think that he's gonna be on ah, bunch of championship rosters, I guess I'm glad that I ended up.
I got him by by accident.
Auto drafted him in the one auto draft pick.
I had across six leagues this year.
But hey, like I said, earned him earned himself a spot, and I'm used to being in the championship.
So he's welcome on my championship roster anytime.
Um, let's move on to, ah, guy that I have in a bunch of other leagues as well.
People laughed at me.
They called, rubbed in my face so you don't have a real RB two blah, blah, blah.
I took Kareem Hunt, Um, because I tend to take a quarterback early on so I get stuck with, you know, So I gotta take somebody in the fourth or fifth round that's going to be a starter.
And I ended up getting Kareem Hunt.
I think in, like the fourth round, maybe somewhere around there and a lot of leagues this year.
Um, Kareem Hunt Group.
He's just a good He's just as valuable to this team and to this offense as Nick Chubb.
Obviously, Nick Chubb had a great day.
Was just, you know, tearing the defense part had himself a good day as well, but Kareem Hunt in week 1 12 points against a tough Baltimore offense, um, comes out puts up 20.
What did he have? 24 points.
I just looked and I forgot 24.
1 points this last week.
Um, they have a spot for him.
They have usage for him.
I think Kareem Hunt is an excellent back.
He could end up at the end of the year having more fantasy points.
The Nick Chubb he could.
I think this backfield might be the best running back tandem I've ever seen.
I mean, Cream Hunt is one of the best running backs in the league, I think.
And Nick Chubb is one of the best running backs in the league and Kevin Stefanski once wants to run the ball.
And I think what you saw on Thursday was the blueprint for this team like that is what they want to dio on any given week and if they can and the game allows for it, like both these running backs were going to get touches and both of them are just so good and explosive.
Thio not have good weeks and yeah, I mean, I think he's great.
RB two going forward.
Yeah, both of them are.
Lock them in every week for May.
There's too much volume.
I think Thio go around here.
Now you can debate whether they're both are Btu's reviewed slide hunt more into the RV three or, depending on your format, flex categories.
But, yeah, they're both every every week.
You're starting these guys.
There's too much.
There's gonna be too many carries to go around here in this Browns offense.
I'm not like Tanner sets to fancy.
Wants to run the ball Number one and number two.
I'm still not sold on Baker Mayfield.
I know he looked decent last Thursday against the Bengals.
That's the Bengals, so they're gonna be tougher.
Defense is ahead.
Namely in the division were we saw how it looked against Baltimore and then Pittsburgh as well.
So this is gonna be a run.
First offense and Hunt and shop are both weekly plays until, until further notice, I guess you'd have to put it at this point.
And Kareem Hunt could get his on the ground to like he didn't rushed the ball nearly as many times, obviously weak to, um, he rushed the ball 10 times for a total of 86 yards.
Or excuse me, that Z I got I was mixing up my stats here.
Yeah, 10 10 times, for a total of 86 yards.
He caught the ball twice for 15 yards.
So not not as much of a of a swing in number of receptions as there was in week one compared to him and Nick Chubb.
But Nick Chubb brand the ball 12 more times, and he only had.
I think it was 40 additional yards, which is, you know, a big difference, but still, we're talking 10 times, 86 yards, 22 times 120 yards.
Like those averages without doing them exactly, they equal out to pretty.
Even so, Kareem Hunt could get his on the ground as well, but offers you that extra, um, extra volume in the passing game.
He's going to catch more passes the Nick Chubb.
So as long as he can stay on par with him in the running game, like I said, I think he he may end up having more points fantasy points this year.
Then Nick Chubb does, uh, that would be one of the season as well. Sorry.
That was one of the weird things coming into the year.
I think everyone was just like, Oh, Kareem Hunt is gonna be the past catching back in this offense to Nick Chubb Just running the ball up the middle on 1st and 2nd down.
I don't know that it's really going to shape up to be that way that you could even say it's been that way over the first two weeks.
Because Kareem Hunt he's such a good runner, Um, to Nick Chubb.
And also Nick Job is not, you know, you're not going to stand here and say he can't catch the ball, either, right? I'm pretty sure he's right.
More routes out of the two in each of the first two weeks and granted, he's on the field a little bit more in terms of a snap percentage.
But you know that that was kind of, I guess, a misperception.
And it's not really going to impact the fancy value by the one because they can both get.
Theirs is their trading value and both the focal points of this offense.
But it just kind of funny how that, you know, played out.
I guess for me, I don't I don't really see that to be the case Well, actually.
And if you look at the staff Kareem Hunt.
In Week two, Onley ran six routes, but then he ended up having as compared to Nick Jobs, 10 routes.
But Nick Job only caught the ball once, whereas Hunt, I just added up here.
Hunt caught the ball.
He caught the ball two times, so I mean 25% of his routes.
He caught the ball.
I think this is an unusually low number, especially compared to week one.
Hey, don't that he only brand six rounds routes, But again, all these numbers just mean Kareem Hunt is making his opportunities and have has insanely high average is right now in Korean.
Korean hunts, average on the ground and through the air.
Very, very good right now, better than Nick Chubs.
I believe as well.
And it's transitioning to fantasy quite nicely.
So I'm glad that I have created um, last guy that I want to talk about is Leonard Fournette.
I think after this last week he moves back into position as a weekly starter, both in Fantasy and in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers backfield.
Um, I'm pretty much finished with Ronald Jones the second.
I think he had a big opportunity this last week. It was a great matchup.
A lot of people had a lot of people banking on him.
Um, just another average week ended up having a fumble.
Got shown up by Leonard Fournette, who's probably gonna play harder all season, are all season long as long as he's healthy than Ronald Jones.
Well, anyway, so why wouldn't you get faulted for net? I think for net.
A good start now moving forward.
Why would you after a week like that, why would you go back to limiting his carries? I don't think he's gonna have 10 12 carries again.
I think he's gonna be that that main back.
So I'm done with Ronald Jones the second I like Leonard Fournette.
What about you guys? I agree, Jake.
I think we probably saw the death of Ronald Jones this week.
I mean, if you started him, you got one decent start out of them.
But I think for net is the guy going forward? I mean, he looked a lot better for that look good, like he looked really good like that one of the receiving touchdown he had I mean, that's just something that Ronald Jones isn't really capable of.
And it's, I think it's his backfield going forward, and it happened sooner than I expected it to.
I mean, if you honestly thought that Ronald Jones is gonna maintain his Burge atop this depth chart, like for over the portion of entire season, you're crazy.
Letter from That's just to give.
I think Tampa Bay kind of knew what they had in Jones, and they brought for not into eventually take over this role for me going forward.
I don't know if it will happen this coming week, but I could even see a scenario where LaShawn McCoy gets bumped up and is getting second.
Most touches behind format in this offense.
And Jones has just relegated Thio.
I mean, I hate to use the comparison, but like a Wayne Coleman role, you know, behind these two, where you have ah, say Kwan Barkley when he's not injured and Dion Lewis as the kind of change of pace back.
That's how I see this shaking out.
But yeah, for net is a weekly play here at this point.
Uh huh, probably.
What would we put him in maybe fringe RB two status, But he's at least better than the next guy you're considering.
Probably been throwing your flex eso.
