How about them cowboys? Uh huh.
Mhm paid AC microphone check.
12 What is this? This is how about him Really is week three? ****, we're already going in the week three and three Cowboys, air one and one and I didn't think they could win anything.
I didn't think they had a chance to win that game.
So what do they say? Egg on my face? But yeah, I'm going to talk about that Cowboys game or more.
So that falcons loss, I'm going to talk about Dak Prescott and Mike McCarthy and onsides kicks and going for two and four downs and our old line and R D line.
Um, let me think Here, though, I have to go back because the last time you all saw me Waas Sunday Yeah, it was Sunday.
So Sunday I gave you picks.
We will go over my picks where I was right where I was wrong.
I might lose this hat.
This hat is not cooperating with my dreads.
All right? No high.
Um Anyway, I'm gonna go over my picks where I was right where I was wrong and talk about this game.
And look at this Monday night game going down tonight.
What I would like to do quickly is to share this on my twitter.
If you're not following me on Twitter, might want to.
Why? I don't know.
I do some tweets.
Not just about the cowboys, Not just about the NFL.
That's tweeted out there.
Oh, all right, cool.
So now I got the tweet off.
I plan on doing this to at least 6. 15.
the Yankees play in about an hour and three minutes.
34 I cover the Yankees.
I will be out of here by that time, But first I want to talk about this.
The NFL is a rough game.
It's Ah, rough ass game.
If I'm gonna be frank about it, it is brutal.
It is Mortal Kombat.
It is modern day Gladiator.
We've gone through two weeks of the NFL season and guys like, say, Kwame Barkley and Christian McCaffrey or out they were the number one and two picks and most of your fantasy leagues teams have lost defensive players like Nick Bosa, Solomon Thomas this weekend.
Even before the season started, the Broncos lost.
You know, like this is a rough game and you can't call Who's going to get hurt when they're going to get hurt.
You can't call who's gonna get lucky As far as injuries and health, you just gotta play every week and hope for the best.
The list of injuries is getting ridiculous.
We saw Levian Bell go down Henry rugs the third go down.
Um, where? I think I had a running list of of injuries.
You know, Now say, Kwan, Barkley Drew lock Just a bunch of guys.
So your fantasy team this year is gonna be about waiver wire editions about trades.
Your your fantasy team is gonna be about how much depth you have and how many of your backups can actually come in and contribute right away.
Uh, this season, we're gonna see a lot of teams playing backups.
The Cowboys is the perfect team to talk about as I Segway into the the Dallas Cowboys.
The Dallas Cowboys are rolling out in Week two without their starting tight end and Blake Jar win.
Dalton Schultz assumes his role.
We also had to roll out there with to undrafted free agents at tight end or at tackle.
Excuse me, Blake Jardins.
Tight end. Now we're on the tackle.
Terrence Steel and Brandon Knight.
These aren't supposed to be the guy's supposed to be loyal.
Collins and Tyron Smith, two of the best guys at their respective positions.
Everybody talks about the Dallas Cowboys having this great offensive line.
What you're seeing is not the great Dallas Cowboys line they've talked about the last few years, and those guys were getting up there in age.
They're not as sharp as they used to be.
Maybe five years ago, when we started drafting these guys for offensive line, you might have heard about Travis Frederick, our center.
Hey, had a mental, not mental condition.
He had a illness, a physical condition, um, a disease actually want to get the name of that disease where he could no longer play.
Meet sat out last year.
We dearly miss him and exact Martin is probably the only guy on this line from our top picked climate.
When you talk about Smith now, Smith we know he's not going to be able Thio play the whole season.
Gillian Barr syndrome.
That's what took Travis Frederick away from the Dallas Cowboys Gillian Barr syndrome.
He decided to retire this past year.
He could have played another five years.
Maybe we lose that guy.
Um, Tyron Smith is out.
We know that Tyron Smith is just He's not gonna play a full season for us.
Um, he's been hurt in the past.
The guy is a beast, arguably one of the best players at his position.
But if you're not healthy, the best ability is availability.
Tyron Smith got ruled out we had to go with Terrence Steel, uh, the right tackle and Brandon Knight at the left tackle.
Which is not a recipe for success, especially for a team like the Dallas Cowboys, who were walking in Thio week to in a do or die situation.
And if you follow me on here, if you saw in your mind, how about um, Streams? I talked about how if the Cowboys lost this game, which I bet against him, I picked them to lose and probably four or five parlays I had the Falcons covering, I mean, and if I could, just did cover.
They were, I think, before the game kicked off, there were Falcons.
It was Falcons plus three.
They only lost by one, but they should have never lost that game.
They should have never lost sight.
The Cowboys were playing with their season on the line, and something did Click.
They actually realized that if we lose this game and go on to the next week, we have to play Russell Wilson in Seattle without the twelves.
But it's still Russell Wilson.
Ah, guy that we saw last night against the Patriots.
He's on a mission.
He might throw four touchdowns every game counting.
I drafted him into fantasy leagues.
Russell last name Wilson.
He's on a mission.
I flex and tell his story.
Every chance I get a chance to tell it.
I, too, played football.
I was a quarterback.
Think we're the same year? Or maybe I was a year older.
I got invited to go to the U V. A football camp.
I made it to the upper echelon players in the camp.
The top quarterbacks, receivers DBS and camps for for one on ones in the quarterback line.
Let's say the top 10 quarterbacks I run into Russell Wilson.
Russell Wilson is wearing a number 11 Miami jersey.
I think it was custom made.
Or maybe it was a Dorsey jersey from back then.
But Russell Wilson was a star athlete in high school in Virginia, playing baseball and football, and he was set on going to a school that would allow him to play both.
That's why I ended up at N.
State, but he pretty much had offers from every school in the A C.
And he came toe workout at U Va.
And I saw him throw the ball and I saw how he carried himself the first time, throwing the ball, it receivers that he never met.
Perfectly accurate boom, every ball boom, boom, boom.
Putting it right at these guys faces where they have no choice but to catch it.
And his demeanor was very column.
He is very quiet.
I think he actually lost his dad in high school, where I can't imagine I lost my brother coming upon five years next month.
I can't imagine losing your dad in high school when you're a teenager and being able to do what Russell Wilson did.
So speaking highly of Russell Wilson is something that I always do, and the Cowboys have to go to Seattle and face him next week, and I was looking at all in three.
I was almost sure of it.
What man them Falcons.
Here's another story.
Five years ago, almost to this exact date, it was actually the 26th I went to Dallas.
Dallas was playing against the Falcons.
This was the Brandon Weeden era.
This was, uh, time when Tony Romo got hurt and we didn't have back yet.
And Brandon Weeden was the guy.
Uh huh, the running back.
The Cowboys had Jones.
He ended up getting arrested for some stuff.
But either way, the Falcons fans traveled well, which they also did yesterday.
If you looked in the crowd at Jerry's World, Jerry World A T and T Stadium, there's a lot of red jerseys out there.
The Atlanta Falcons travel well five years ago from Atlanta toe Arlington, and they did the same thing yesterday, and I remember being down there around a lot of Falcons fans and the Cowboys went up 21 7 at halftime, the Cowboys were up 21 7.
I'm in the crowd, I'm drinking, I'm partying.
I'm high fiving with all the fans were having a blast.
And then in the second half, the Cowboys blew it.
The Cowboys unraveled.
The Falcons walked out of there with the wind their fans were talking about.
Rise up, rise up.
How about them Falcons? Not this time.
How do you blow that game? Honestly, it's not one play.
It's not just an onside kick.
It's a gradual, slow moving thing.
I did not watch this game.
I went back and watched it.
I looked at the highlights.
I looked at the box score.
I looked at the like, important things that I needed to look at to figure out how we lost this game.
The Cowboys never gave up, and the Falcons left the door open and they missed opportunities and they missed big place time after time.
So going through my notes, which I'll bring you through because first we ought to tackle this Cowboys game, then we'll get into the rest of the games from the weekend where I was wrong and all that.
Oh, I almost forgot my notes.
George Kittel was out like Week one, that stuff.
So going into this game, I have feared everything about it. I had feared there.
D Line versus R D line I had feared.
The wide receivers Julio Jones, Calvin Ridley against our DBS are young.
DBS are her DBS guy like Jordan Lewis, who's first game was coming back to play against guys like this and Matt Ryan.
It was tough, but how did the Falcons lose this game? How the fact like this What, this? I can't even be happy about this when I kind of laugh and say, How about him? How about them Cowboys? But this was the L.
This was the L the whole time.
The whole time until late in the game, because the Cowboys never gave up Number four, that Prescott never gave up.
But you can't win.
Turning the ball over the first thing in my notes is you can't win.
Turning the ball over.
We turned the ball over three times in the first half.
Dalton are Zeke fumbled, and then Dalton Schultz fumbled, so I wasn't bothering.
Watching this game.
I was watching Red Zone.
I was watching the New York Yankees, and I wasn't gonna tune in for us to turn the ball over in a game that literally could decide the season the way we started off that game, we started off that game terribly.
Here's another question.
For two weeks in a row.
Why do the Dallas Cowboys run the ball on first down all the time? Every single time? You know, when the Cowboys stopped running the ball on first down in the second half, when they had no choice but to throw it and everything opened up, Mike McCarthy and Crew put a pen in that.
Maybe, instead of trying to establish the run, which every NFL team tries to do, establish the run, establish the run, open up the game You have some of the most ridiculous weapons put together in this game.
Ah, one handed catch from a Mari Cooper, another ridiculous sideline grabbed from Gallup.
It didn't stand, but Gallop is a freak CD lamb CD.
Lamb is a weapon.
He ain't a rookie.
He's a young weapon that is gonna just get better.
Put the ball in that guy's hands he could do it.
Dalton Schultz could do it.
Blake jar when we thought it was gonna be Blake Darwin season.
Dalton Schultz is doing his job and Blake Bell has stepped up to do his job.
Open up the offense.
Let Dak be the guy that he is going to be paid to be.
You've got to give him the bag now.
God, pay him now.
I mean, you always have to pay him, but now you're gonna have to pay him a lot, because statistically he put together a game that's going to stand in history and maybe never be removed over 400 passing yards and three touchdowns on the ground.
Three rushing touchdowns with that many passing yards is ridiculous.
Either way, going back here in the beginning of this game very early in this game, why are we going for a fake punt in our own territory in the first quarter? Down 14? It's one of those head scratchers.
My head. Actually, it's right there.
It's one of those head scratchers that online.
Everybody is looking at Mike McCarthy like, What are you doing? Dude, what do you like? It's one thing to be aggressive But you're supposed to be this ****ytical coach.
You're supposed to be this guy that has sold us on all of his ways that you've learned and things you're gonna do to Coach.
You're putting us in bad situations.
We we have way more risk than reward and going for a fake punt in the first quarter down 14 and our own territory.
We didn't convert it.
And it makes you question the head coach and makes you question his decision making.
My question for Mike McCarthy is this.
Why are you so confident? And you've only been around these guys for a couple months.
Why are you so confident that we're going to convert these first downs or we're gonna convert these fourth downs? We're gonna convert Convert these fake punts with this team that you haven't even been around that long.
You didn't get a full offseason.
You barely got ah, proper training camp.
Why is so confident, bro? Stick to the script.
Don't go too far off script.
I know that's supposed to be like all the the ****ytics say that this is blah, blah, blah like.
Come on, man, I'm I'm just like looking at this team, and I'm like I don't have the same confidence level that Mike McCarthy does.
I don't understand where it's coming from that he's thinking this team is capable of converting these four downs, these fake punts.
I'm like, Wait, let's let's crawl before we walk in the Mike McCarthy era.
What up? Cody Cody says You went from a coach that would never go for it to a coach.
That just goes for it, no matter what.
Basically, yeah, you need something in the middle.
Let's start in the middle, Cody.
That's a 100% correct.
That's what I mean by Let's crawl before we walk and we start in the middle before we're just jumping out of the window.
Fake punt, Go for it.
Two point conversion.
Go for it like we're not there yet.
It's Week two, and we're acting like this is the team he's been rolling with. This ain't the Packers.
This is not Aaron Rodgers and the Packers.
It's a whole different function over here in Jerry's world, and you gotta learn, just like these guys gotta learn.
So moving on from that just ah, fake punt down 14 in the first quarter in our own territory turned bad for us.
We were down 20.
Nothing after that.
Turn the ball over, going for fake punch.
We're down 29th and after that.
But going back to C d, let me saying he's a weapon.
He had six catches, 106 yards touchdown he had to carry.
I'd like to see him returning punts as well.
There is no time to baby him.
There is no time to treat him with kid gloves.
He might be able to go out there and be, I don't know, offensive Rookie of the year, something borough doesn't get it because these other receivers rugs, rugs was hurt.
Um, Jerry Judy got hurt this week, but he came back and played.
But what I'm saying about these other rookie receivers, they are not set up for success in the way that CD Lamb is.
Lamb is set up for success because he's not the only guy.
There's four or five other weapons on that offense.
That defense is have to worry about.
I love it, hand him the ball.
Throw him in a little dig route.
Like any way that you can use him as a weapon. Keep doing it.
Dalton Schultz is well, too.
We got no time to act like Dalton shows.
Ain't been there.
He could do the job.
We saw him do very well.
He looked better to me than Jason Witten.
Dare I say Cowboys fans out there that won't like me talking about the goat, man? Forget the goat.
The goat is gonna be playing tonight.
We'll talk about the Raiders a little bit later.
Um, yeah, Blake.
Blake Bell is now essentially Dalton Schultz.
Dalton Schultz is essentially Blake Jar win.
I'm fine with our tight ends.
Run the offense.
We got lucky we got lucky the Wildcat past that that Russell gauge the receiver caught and lobbed upto Julio.
If that ball gets caught, we don't win that game.
I'll say that again.
If that ball gets caught by Julio Jones, we don't win that game.
That's where the Mo Mentum changed.
I don't know if you guys ever heard of NFL turning point.
If you watch NFL turning point in the past, there's always one point in the game where everything swings because Julio goes from dropping that past **** near in the end zone to us coming back and flipping the field with the deep ball.
Ah, one handed grab, essentially, which is why you pay him 100 million.
Which is why you trade a first round draft pick for a guy like that.
He could get wide open deep like that and make the play that kind of overthrew him, but nope, it was in reach.
Um, another thing from early in the game.
Historically playing football.
I played quarterback.
I played receiver.
I was an offensive guy.
I had good hands.
I had good hands.
I had good and I was a d J.
I'm I'm a hand eye coordination guy.
Some of these DBS kill me.
Hands like feet.
That's what we used to say about these guys.
They got hands like feet.
The Cowboys had so many opportunities to grab picks and couldn't do it.
Catch the **** ball.
We had it early in the game.
Are like our safety czar corners. Digs.
Drop one that was in his hand. The ball.
There was a ball thrown where it was under thrown but digs was beat.
I think by Calvin Ridley who I went in this game.
Like I said, I went in this game worried about Julio Jones and Calvin Ridley and they both torched us.
They both torched us.
I was writing my thought that they would torture us.
But we got to take advantage when when the ball is in our hands, we will not be better teams.
We will not win games without when in the turnover battle plus mine because we turn the ball over so much.
We had no business winning this game.
I'm telling you, I'm watching the game over and I'm like, Holy, like how Our first sack in the game and I want to talk about the D line, our 1st 2nd this game, where the hot Boys R D line supposed to be the hot boys.
I have raved about this D line right When you put DaMarcus Lawrence, you get a Donta Repo Gerald McCoy.
We know he's gone quad injury, but he was part of that hype train ever seen Griffin on top of the guys that we have.
Tristan Hill, Antoine Woods, Tyrone Crawford.
When you throw all of these guys together, Aldon Smith, you expect that to be a potent D line right there? You expect that to be some beast going at it up there now they look like little boys.
We did not get our first sack of the game until there was four minutes and 30 seconds left in the game.
That was ever since Griffin Late when we needed it.
There's a big play when we needed it.
But how come we couldn't get to Matty ice sooner? Is the Falcons offensive line all world? No, no, on our D line.
DaMarcus where? Where you at, bro? W y a where you at? Where you at? Where you at? We paid you right? We paid this man.
We paid a lot of guys that haven't shown up.
J. Jaylin Smith.
Like Jaylin, Smith is starting to become a little bit of a disappointment for me. I love this story.
You know, I saw a lot of tears from the guy.
I view that swipe Notre Dame.
He falls in the draft.
They're saying he'll never play football again.
All of that is great.
All of that is a great story.
But you are paid now, right? You were drafted by us.
We trusted that you'd be fine because our doctors did your procedure and all that.
You were paid by Jerry Jones to go out there and perform and be the beast that you are one of the fastest, strongest, instinctual guys, right? Go.
Be that without Layton Vanda Reche with without Sean Lee, you have to stand up and lead.
Um, we got guys playing linebacker for us right now, but I don't I didn't I literally didn't even know who these guys were coming into the game.
Uh, well, I knew who they were coming into the game, but I did not expect them to be getting as many snaps and their names to be called so much during the game.
Right? A guy like Joe Thomas not to be confused with Cleveland's Joe Thomas that's now on NFL Network or ESPN or something.
I think he came over here from the Packers.
Like that guy is, uh, leading the way for us instead of a Jaylin Smith.
When a lot of people.
I'm looking at article right here.
Cowboys linebacker should be most improved unit in 2020.
What? What on the Cowboys? Nah, late.
Vander rushes down.
Jaylin Smith is not really ready.
And, uh, we could be a lot better.
We could be a lot better on the old line as well.
I mean, I already ripped them, but I'm not gonna It is what it is.
This is not the old line we plan to roll out.
There were missing are bookends Tyron Smith like L Collins.
It is what it is for now.
We got to deal with it.
We got to move forward, but check me out.
What I really want to get to now as we're burning up time, I got about another 20 minutes left.
I want to talk about this watermelon kick this watermelon kick, right? You just set the ball.
He set the ball like a watermelon and you kick Greg Zuerlein.
We talk about these off season pickups.
Veterans. Ah, guy like Greg Zuerlein.
Leg Atran is one of the craftiest kickers in the game.
He sets up this watermelon kick.
No, t you just lay the ball down, kick it and let it spin and spin until it travels.
I don't know until it travels to 10 yards.
Now, I don't know what the Falcons were thinking.
I played Pop Warner football from the time I was 10 years old until I was in college and stop playing at 21 years old.
I don't think if someone asked me if the rules changed, I don't think the rules ever changed its that 10 yards is for the kicking team.
Like I was tuned in the red zone as to come back happened.
And there was this weird, like, mojo, this weird energy, this weird, like mo mentum shift or something that happened where I knew we were gonna We're gonna get it. I knew we were going to score.
I knew we were gonna somehow field the onside kick, recovered the onside kick.
But not like that.
That ball was spinning and spinning and spinning, and Hayden Hurst was backing up and backing up and I'm yelling, Get on it. It's about to cross.
Recovered it that simple.
The Falcons blue 21 point lead.
The Cowboys didn't come back.
The Falcons did every possible thing to blow this lead.
They had no stop.
They had no stops when they needed stops.
I have people texting me.
Yo, what do you think about the Cowboys? We're not ready this year.
I told you are Ceiling was 10 and six will probably go nine and seven.
McCarthy is not ready.
This is year one.
I don't know what you guys think about first year Coach is, but they don't just rip off Super Bowls in their first year.
This isn't the MBA where first year coach is gonna go all the way and win the chip.
I said, this team is not ready.
We've got a lot of stars on off.
I shut up after we figured that out, Right? We are led by a guy and Dak Prescott that never says die were led by a guy that can do it with his feet and his arm.
Give that man some respect, put some respect on his name, put some respect on his name.
Everybody, even a hater like a skip Bell is Skip Bayliss.
Even ah hater like a Stephen A Smith.
They all got to sing his praises.
Now you win a game like that, led by a guy that never says Die.
Dak Prescott is in the history books now for having over 400 yards passing, four total touchdowns, one rushing, three on the ground and just figuring it out.
Making the Reeds, making the place, putting the ball where it needed to be when you don't have any room to mess up right.
The first half sucked second half dak balls.
He had, like 300 yards in the second half, bald out the Falcons for the first time in NFL history that a team scored 39 points and no turnovers lost that game.
Their season's over.
They should fire Dan Quinn.
I can't imagine they talked about the Falcons blowing a 25 point lead.
They were up 28 3 in the Super Bowl.
You can't ever come back and have something like this happened regular season or not.
Like it's just so bad.
And I I want to say this about the Cowboys.
Don't let any of this come fool.
You confuse you or fool you don't Don't start thinking the Cowboys air good all of a sudden, right? I come on here.
How about them Cowboys, but like that? Because I'm a Dallas fan.
I've been a Cowboys fan my whole life.
And if you've been a Cowboys fan in your whole life, you understand that involves a lot of disappointment.
And you understand that these guys need to be practicing and preparing as if they lost this week because they lost that game way more than they want it.
Yes, it's good to celebrate victory Monday.
Cowboys fans out there that are watching this.
I hope you're enjoying that win because it would have sucked to be owing to today and be telling people here I don't know.
You know, Doc, I don't I don't know if that is that good.
Our defense is terrible.
They're confused out there.
They don't know which way to go.
Our special teams coach, what were they thinking? Well, you know, we went for two.
We don't have to do that, enjoy the win.
This same team has to go to Seattle and play against Russell Wilson and Seahawks, who now feature Jamal Adams.
Did you guys watch that game last night? They're serious.
They gotta be the best team in the NFC, right? And it's the usual suspects.
The Packers, those Seahawks, the Niners.
You could move the Niners out of this, right? Kittel goes down, Garoppolo goes down.
They didn't even look good with them last week.
They play the Jets this week.
They're not gonna be at the top of this.
The Cowboys gotta figure this out sooner rather than later.
And it's gonna take coaching.
Luckily, we have a lot of veteran coaches.
Luckily, we have, ah, lot of talent, but if they want to win, if they want to do this, they need to practice hard.
They need to scheme better.
They need to figure it out.
Now, going into Seattle, I expect a challenging competition, a challenging, competitive competition.
I don't expect the Cowboys going there and lay down.
I haven't seen what the spread is.
I don't think they opened up the spread yet, but I'm not gonna be a fool to bet Dallas.
Um, the spread for this Falcons game opened up at Dallas Cowboys minus six, and I was confused.
Week one. Overreaction.
Cowboys only lost by three to the Rams, who were in the Super Bowl two years ago.
They had two of the best defensive players in the game.
I guess they're considering that the Falcons got blown out by the Seahawks.
That spread changed from six Thio.
By the time kickoff happened, and that shows you where the money was going, people were betting Atlanta people were betting the Falcons, as did I.
I had them in a bunch of parleys.
Ruin my parleys.
I threw 1 $20 bet with the 25% profit boost on draftkings on the Cowboys toe win, and I ended up winning 100 bucks on that because I just hedge my bet last minute.
Like what if the Cowboys do figure out how to win? But what I'm saying to you is this.
There is game film now, right? We're in Week three.
Already, the Falcons played the Seahawks.
The Cowboys played the Falcons, so now the Sea Hawks and Falcons have a common opponent and game tape on a common opponent.
Let's see who can coach better.
Let's see who could scheme better.
The Cowboys better practice hard this week.
They better prepare this week, or we're gonna go out there and get embarrassed and be one and two quick.
And our schedule does not really help us.
Let's go through the schedule quickly.
I don't know if I've done that on How about him? Uh, the schedule is tough this year.
Um, so right now we are looking at the Falcons Next.
Then let's say the Browns on October 4th should be a win in Jerry World.
We host the Browns, then the Giants come to town.
Should be a win.
They lost a Kwan Barkley.
Then the Cardinals come to town.
So the Cowboys have three home games in a row.
Brown's Giants, Cardinals.
They should definitely beat the Browns.
Definitely beat the Giants.
The Cardinals with collar Murray and DeAndre Hopkins.
I don't know about.
I like what they got over there.
Then on the 25th, which I believe, yeah, that'll be our first time.
Going to Washington is on the road.
We should be able to beat the Washington football team.
If we can block them, we'll see about that.
Then we go right to Philly on the first of November.
Eagles, I think are done.
This is the NFC least.
Let me take an opportunity to speak on the Redskins and the Eagles.
They don't have it.
They don't have it.
This is our division to lose, like it was last year when we lost it and gave it to the Eagles and we went eight and eight and then the Eagles right into the playoffs.
They don't have it.
I don't believe in him, Carson Wentz, but never believed in him.
They want to compare guys to die.
It's our division to lose.
The Steelers will come to Jerry World after that.
I do believe in the Steelers.
I think Big Ben's got some weapons now on that defense.
You know what that defense does? The Vikings.
We go to Minnesota, the Vikings.
They might go on a little skid here.
They started off owing to we would hope to go to Minnesota and be able to beat them late in the season.
Then the dead skins come to Jerry World on the 26th, and I believe that is Thanksgiving, our Thanksgiving game? Yes, right after that, though, you know how we line up the Thanksgiving game so that we have Thursday Night Football the next Thursday.
They did that for us.
But then they put the Ravens on the schedule.
The Ravens will beat us, most likely like it just is what it is.
The Bengals we play After that, we should win that game.
And then, lastly, we have the 40 Niners and we'll see or not lastly, but right after late in the season with the 40 Niners, we'll see how healthy they go or how how healthy they get and how their season goes.
I don't know if I can chalk that up as a winner loss yet.
They got a tough run game and still a tough defense.
Then we finish the game or we finished the season with a game against the Eagles in Jerry World and then back to Jersey right up the street from me.
We play the Giants we are looking at from what I named one to three losses that like I just think they're they're booked losses.
I think the Ravens beat us.
I think the Steelers beat us and I think the Cardinals beat us.
Now The NFC least is a gauntlet.
Uh, you could probably throw another two losses in and the NFC East.
And that will put us at 10 and six, where I literally predicted and projected the Cowboys ceiling to be 10 and six.
I think we finished 10 and six.
So we gotta win the games. That matter.
We gotta win the games that count.
And now I would like to take a look at where I was right and where I was wrong.
Ding, ding, ding, ding, ding My picks.
Now, Sunday, if you watch on Sunday before everything kicks off, I like to look at the games.
I like to look at the pics and I like Thio.
Just put it on the line, like in this business, right? This is SportsCastr, uh, in the business of being a SportsCastr or being a broadcaster broadcasting sports.
You gotta make guesses.
You gotta take pics.
You gotta put your name next to what you think happens and then stand by it when you're right or wrong.
So I do that every week.
I've been doing that for a while.
If you've been following me on Instagram Twitter, I usually do it for the playoffs.
For the the NFL playoffs.
every year I pick the wild card around all the way through the Super Bowl, and I do pretty decent at it.
But let's see, the first week last week, I ended up going, I think 12 3 and one.
I had a push with the Bengals losing by three.
Um, that's not a winner Lost.
The spread was three, But going into this week, I only got another three games wrong.
So here's where I was, right.
I took the Falcons plus three.
They end up losing by one that covers.
I took the Packers minus six, and the Green Bay Packers.
I actually took in alternate spread because I knew they were going to smoke the Lions.
They won by much more than that.
The New York football Giants I took plus five.
They end up losing by four.
That covers the Rams was the lock of the century.
If you watch this show on Sunday, I told you this is a lock lock lock.
The Rams were plus 1.5.
They crushed the Eagles.
Colts minus five.
Took that. That's a win.
I was wrong in these two places, but not by much.
I took the Buffalo Bills minus 5.5.
You go down the Miami and you let the Dolphins tricky when the one who was we've seen those.
A f C East matchups like that all the time.
What's up with the Bills, man? I put money on the Bills to cover that 5.
5, and they only won by three.
So and I was wrong there.
Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh with 6.5.
I put money on them to cover.
They only won by five.
Jacksonville plus seven a half.
San Francisco, I said, was a lot clock clock clock, clock it up minus seven against the Jets.
Tampa Bay minus 8.5.
Got it. Arizona minus seven.
Baltimore minus seven way.
Kansas City Chiefs.
Come on, Kansas City.
You were well rested.
You played Thursday. You had a couple extra days off.
I thought you were going to run away with it.
And right before kickoff, you find out you're facing a rookie and I don't want to say that, you know, the chief's defense wasn't prepared for Justin Herbert because even the Chargers said there wasn't anything they did different.
Didn't have any different packages for him.
He prepared as the backup to run Exactly what Tyrod Taylor is gonna run. Tyrod.
Here's another flex coming already, because one thing I was told, whatever you do Flags Tyrod is another quarterback I met in my travels when I was younger.
There was this thing called the elite East Coast combine and invited all the kids from like Maryland, D C, Delaware, Jersey, Pennsylvania, New toe, one spot to throw routes.
Run the 40 do all that.
Tyrod was there as a sop****re.
He was one of the Onley sop****res invited, but he was a national sop****re.
People knew that, Like, you know, he was gonna be good where he came out of Hampton Newport News Era.
He was already a star as a freshman because he was a sop****re.
He didn't get to throw with the juniors with my group.
I got more throws with the top receivers and he did, and he was visibly upset.
He was visibly mad.
I asked him like What's good, bro? He's like they're sleeping on me.
They're sleeping on me. They're not giving me any reps.
And I'm like, just cause you're younger, it's because you got another year.
You'll be back here in a year.
You'll ball out.
He did he end up falling out.
He ended up going to Virginia Tech.
I am going to jam you leaving.
But JMU ends up knocking off Virginia Tech, led by Tyrod Taylor.
You know, just universe stuff.
Football, world, football universe, how I know, you know I'm connected to all of this.
I'm not just a random guy talking about NFL or talking about the Cowboys.
I played a little bit and I was around some of these guys in the NFL that here now, back to what we were talking about.
They played well.
Justin Herbert is now the starter.
From here on out, that's the number one pick.
He had 311 yards in his debut.
I think he said, some kind of record.
He shocked the hell out of me.
I was like, Whoa, some of the throws he made.
He had this one throw to Keenan Allen dark in there.
He had a bunch of other throws.
Where I'm like this guy is so much better than Tyrod.
Why did they waste any time? But that's how they do it.
In the NFL, we all saw hard knocks.
Tyrod was the guy Baker.
Mayfield thought he was the guy.
They didn't make him the guy until Baker was the guy tire.
I got out of town, all right.
And the Seahawks Patriots game.
Seahawks won by five. I was right there.
The spread was minus four.
Tonight I have New Orleans covering that 5.
5 at Allegiant Stadium, the opening off the death star in Las Vegas.
But listen, folks, out of let's see 12 31 Uh, what is their 15 to pick a 12 through to 16 to pick every week? I don't know.
I'm not a math major.
This is not a math pod.
Shout out to John Boy. Jake.
Um, in the last two weeks, I've only got three picks wrong, but I just I just did 233 picks wrong.
So I'm doing pretty good to start off the season.
If I were you out, tune in on Sunday before you put your bets.
And before you put your money down and you check on me and say, Yo, keep that does.
How about them? He's got a knack for this kind of thing.
He knows some gambling, knows some spread, knows some teams.
I'm not doing too bad out here.
Honestly, I'm up like 200 draftkings right now.
I cashed out 100 last week.
I'm up like total 300 on the first two weeks.
And what I'll tell you is don't get ahead of yourself.
Oh, man, I know that the cowboys they're gonna lose I'm gonna bet $500 on the Falcons No.
One when you enter the app deposit.
What? You're okay with losing? As soon as you put that money in, it should be money that is not gonna affect anything else that you if it's $5 cool.
If it's $500 cool and then play the alternate spreads in the parlay game, you can pick alternate spreads for more money.
I feel like some of you make bets and you're not really looking at it like that.
Plus matters, if you can click on something that says plus 300 turn your money into plus 300 do that.
There's ways to navigate it.
Put it in a little bit of time.
I'll put in the time for you come join me, and I'll tell you exactly where to go with that, wrapping this thing up.
Week two is done.
The Falcons blew a 20 point lead.
Reaching over your shoulder is always tough because it's backwards for me, like that's probably a better way.
The Falcons blew a 20 point lead.
Jerry Jones gotta pay, Dak, because no matter what happens this season, that can slide in there and be like, Yeah, uh, remember that game? We were down 20.
I brought us back.
I have 400 plus yards, three rushing touchdowns.
Never done before.
Yeah, put that on my resume.
A comeback win, which that has a few comeback wins and the Cowboys start off one and won the season is not over yet.
And in the NFL, there's only 16 weeks every week matters.
You talk about die hard fans.
I feel like there are more diehard fans in the NFL than any other sport because you don't get that many chances at it every week matters, and there's an expanded playoffs this year.
We're trying to get in so we couldn't afford to go on to which would have led to own three were all right if we end up one and two next week, which I expect us to, and I expect some other good teams decent teams to also be one and two after Week three.
So make sure you join me.
Make sure you come back.
But most importantly, make sure you make a SportsCastr account, right? You heard me shout out my guy Cody.
Let's see. Cody says something else.
SportsCastr Cody made his name on SportsCastr at code.
You know how I know who that is? Because I follow him on Twitter.
He follows me on Twitter.
He's a Bills fan Yankees fan, like I'm able to recognize him because he made a SportsCastr account.
You should make a SportsCastr account.
Maybe you want to try and do this.
Maybe you just wanna watch.
Either one is fine.
At your email, you can add it on Twitter.
You can add it on Facebook, whatever to make your account.
Do that at code.
My guy Cody says they got the late TV and we were missing two linebackers and they took advantage of that.
But we're too or no talking about the Bills.
He's a Bills fan.
I'm like, man, I needed more points out of the Bills.
Josh Allen had a ridiculous game passing, but I think you have, like, 400 passing yards.
Stefon Diggs Whoa, yo, They did the right thing by putting him with Josh Allen.
Give those guys time.
That's only their second game.
They're gonna be a problem, But yeah, wrapping up here once again.
My name is Keith MacPherson.
I'm a Dallas fan.
If you look closely, you might be able to see I'm also a Brooklyn Nets fan.
Let me grab something so you could see where my affiliation lies with baseball.
I'm a Yankee fan.
That's Aaron Judge as, ah, Jedi judge from like the bobbleheads from last season when we were allowed to go to the stadium and watch games and get free bobble heads.
So yeah, follow me here on SportsCastr.
You'll get notified when I go live.
Follow me on Twitter.
Talk to everybody on Twitter unless you're anonymous and a nerd and a clown, and you'd like try to troll people.
I'm not into that.
Follow me here, follow me on Twitter.
Um and yeah, Like I said, expect this show How bad? Um, it's a cowboy show, but it's the NFL show.
Expect this show on Monday, which will be recapping Sunday Thursday, which will be looking into Thursday Night Football.
And then Sunday, looking into all the games and all the games are all the Cowboys games I'll cover on all three of those nights.
I actually want to give you two thoughts about this game tonight in, uh, in Vegas.
We might as well I got some time before the Yankees start.
It's the first game in a new stadium.
We're seeing that again, right? We're seeing We saw the Rams open up their place.
The Raiders are not Raiders.
The Chargers open in place.
Now the Raiders open up their place.
Uh, it should be a great broadcast.
There should be so much for ESPN Monday Night Football, the broadcast.
And they got their guy Jon Gruden coaching a team.
Jon Gruden used to be the Monday night Football guy.
Enjoy the broadcast tonight.
There should be some good pageantry, that type of stuff around it, But I expect point if you got fantasy guys going tonight, which I do, you probably got Waller.
I got trade con Smyth rugs, I think is questionable.
Probably gonna be out.
Michael Thomas, I think, is out.
But then you got Alvin Kamara.
You got Josh Jacobs.
You got Derek Carr.
It should be a high scoring game.
It should be an exciting game.
But the Saints are the team that they are.
The Raiders are rising tide, but the Saints have been here doing it consistently.
They should handle business.
Look for them to start to and keep it going.
All right, that's all I got.
Once again, my name is Keith McPherson.
Dallas Cowboys fan washed football player.
Waas couldn't be a has been, because I never waas, but I do this right here.
I do this microphone and stuff.
I do this video stuff.
I do this Internet stuff, and I'm more than content with that.
Thanks for watching.
Thanks for hanging out in the chat.
