So apparently did let me put the thumbnail on were, like, coming alive. I need a book.
Let me a book off that thing over there.
Get this proper way Are about ready to be a lot more live by the way. Hello.
Let's go. Let's move this.
E against future.
E remember, it's up.
It is 12. 02 Here we go.
Another day of football.
Uh, give me one second.
Let me make sure I shoot this thing out to my peeps.
We're gonna share this out, so you know, a little bit of everybody can see it, so we'll be getting started in just a minute.
Here. Thanks for bearing with us.
Okay? Yeah, Look at that too.
Handsome guys there.
Try to set the thumbnail.
So give us the sweet thumbnail.
There's the cover photo.
But SportsCastr said no.
All right, things is actually a better angle for me because I can see both the TVs over there, and I can you know, there's something big pops up during show and share it.
I'm also gladly if you kinda like dead minutes here.
What? People kind of tune in, chime in.
What's that one? Kind of How's everybody doing? Yes.
Let's see both of you. There.
You see? All two of you.
Um, ready to go in 60 seconds.
Okay. With my watch.
49 inactives, terrifying Giorgio Swing the balance of power in this clash of the Titans with jets.
That's gonna be my homer Fandom is getting the best of me on this Niners game.
So bear with me during the show.
Anyway, welcome back.
Uh, this is once again we're doing this every week.
There's a great iron ratings dot Com is the site that you want to go to to check out.
Things were actually in the middle of updating a bunch of stuff on the site.
Kind of a season long process there.
But Jeff D Amato, NFL underscore Di Matteo on Twitter, says Ronnie Evans at Ronnie a Evans on Twitter on DWI.
Wanna dive through the one o'clock games a little bit of notes on the four o'clock games and then we'll be back on at halftime of the four o'clock games to preview and recap What happened during the day.
Why don't we just go ahead and jump into this? Let's do it.
You know, I'm fired Up you go through a little bit of over under and spread notes here, Actually, grab this.
So I have a pencil and first game.
Jacksonville, Tennessee 44 a half is the over under Tennessee's favored by seven.
You know, I'm gonna take Tennessee to cover, all right? And they're gonna cover the spread.
I think we hit the over under on this one, too.
I'm gonna smash the overall.
So, um, this is gonna be another one of those ridiculous games for Derrick Henry.
The the over under for Derek Henry's yards is, like 118.
I have not seen.
So to put that in perspective, most running backs, even elite backs were generally pegged around 85 or 90 yards a game in any given matchup.
Because Vegas tries to conservative right, they want action on both sides.
Ah, 118 is the highest number.
I think I've seen in, like, seven years.
Like I don't recall a time when it back was pin to get this many yards.
It's absolutely bananas.
So I am taking that all day.
And if I've got Derrick Henry, I'm turning him on on DFS.
I want all my starting lineups.
I'm gonna go get him everywhere.
And anyone who knows me knows I'm not even really a big Derrick Henry fan.
But this is that game he's gonna blow up.
I mean, this is the reason you drafted Derrick Henry so early in fantasy draft.
This year was four matchups like this, where he becomes the focus of the offense, have a potential for, like, 200 yards if he gets there.
But he could be a week winning player for you.
And this is one of the matchups it on that is on the schedule this week that everyone was looking at prior to week one and saying, You know, this should be interesting.
Um, I actually agree with you on both counts.
I'm gonna pick to the CEO. I'm gonna take the over.
I think that men she is going to keep it close, but I don't think he's gonna keep it within a touchdown.
I'm a big fan of Menchu's.
I'm rooting for him to spoil the Trevor Lawrence sweepstakes that they're planning on over there.
It would be amazing.
Way could see that happen, but just a couple fantasy notes real quick.
So players from Jacksonville that I'm gonna keep an eye on James Robinson.
I have been chirping about him offscreen pretty much the last three or four weeks.
I was excited about him just because he's the first guy with the new regime that was drafted.
But everything on the camp sounded good.
He got that start Week one.
I just want to see what's going on there.
I know you got him in a couple DFS lineup couple DFS lines, and I grabbed him in one of my keeper leagues.
You sit on the waiver wire still, so I snagged him.
Yeah, he's a guy that you don't really want to start in your season long weeks unless you have to.
But he's one of the few featured backs that's getting all the carries right now, and those guys are always have some sort of intrinsic value on that side.
Though d J chart todo Shark Song I I need D J chart to show up this week.
I don't know that this is really the best match up for him, but I think that, conversely, it's a garbage time matchup that should feature a lot of D J chart.
I think Dede Westbrook might actually make himself known in this game a little bit more than people are expecting.
But that's really my thoughts on the offensive side for Jacksonville.
Derek, can we? We talked about a second ago.
Brown is out, so Corey Davis gets to show whether he's figured it out or not.
I don't think it has, but but I wouldn't be shocked that the guy ends up with seven or six or seven catches for like 80 yards. Sure.
I mean, I like Corey Davis a lot this week to on its This is one of those matchups.
It's a little too juicy, not tow.
I mean, he should be a top 25 play in a PPR league, the guy I'm actually more interested in, though, anytime I love a running back, I generally love the tight end also.
So give me Johnny Smith.
You know, you look decent last week.
You know, this is a guy who has really come into his own, his athletic.
He can actually split out and play wider is here.
He's fast enough and athletic enough for that.
And against this defense, you know, they have nobody left.
I mean, they gutted that defense.
Think about where Jacksonville was, you know, 34 years ago, having that defense.
And now it's just a shell of itself.
There's no Judge Herbert and no Josh Allen pass rusher, but they have nothing on the back half.
That said, for I D. P.
One of the guys that I am really focused on and I think actually could be a steal for people from the defense back position.
This Josh Jones.
He put up a pretty decent week last week, but if he's sitting there on waivers, you don't have to start in this week.
But he actually will probably give you what you need.
But I would pick him up and hold on to him because he's gonna be a really good we can fill in for injuries and bye weeks once they start coming.
Overall, though, he is really.
You have Josh Allen coming off the edge, Joe Sherbert in the middle and Josh Jones in the back end, and they're the only three people I care about Jack.
I know Jack had a good game last week, but I don't care about him off the ball.
Linebacker, yada, yada.
He's a great player.
I don't love him.
They bounced over to the weak side a little bit more than half the steps on the weak side last week, and that's pretty productive place to be.
So I'm hoping it's a season matures, and progress is We start seeing some of that Myles Jack we expected a few years ago when he was drafted.
But I mean, we'll leave that for now.
We want to see how over there this week and next week, where he is lining up more frequently, for sure, But with Jacksonville, there's one more note that we have to consider.
It's actually about James Robinson kind of jumping back the offense here.
Sure, you know, we're all familiar with Swiss family.
Can we call him the Duvall family Robinson now? So Jeffrey Simmons, the other guy, I wanna pay attention.
He was a big breakout candidate.
He's the defensive tackle for Tennessee.
I'm super happy, decided to my lineup this week.
I could see a sack from him and therefore five tackles.
He got a lot of Warren Sapp comes coming out.
If it was some injuries that he had his last season and misstate, he would have been a top seven Top 10 pick for sure.
New York Giants at the Chicago Bears? That's not how it goes.
It's the Bears, but the 43 a half over under Chicago is favored by five.
Mm, I feel like I need to walk over and put my buckets jersey on for this one.
Give me the Bears.
I'm going with Bears, and I think that the only reason I'm doing this and this is one of those it's like it's it's bad reasoning.
I'm just gonna be honest with everybody out there.
One Robinson for two touchdowns this week, and that's sort of a middle finger game.
It's a middle finger game.
It's one of those situations where, you know, you catch this, right? No, not my start of the week on Lee, because we expect Allen Robinson to be a wide receiver, one or near there anyway, for me, I have him, as I think my six wide receiver this week, right? And so when you have a guy that's already that high on the board, I'm not trying to make him start the week.
But two touchdowns is definitely in the works there.
You know? The Giants can't cover him.
They can throw Bradbury on, renders a nice corner.
Don't get me wrong.
But you know, with all of the contract chatter and all of that other nonsense, they're gonna pepper him with targets.
He's going to get a couple of scores or at least one, and he's gonna go absolutely nuts.
And that's what's gonna propel the Bears past the Giants and this one.
Yeah, I I think that I'm really hyped for the one league I have Alan Robinson in, but Anthony Miller is another guy.
I think for DFS, you could slide him in.
He's pretty cheap this week.
Hey, should get a lot of good looks on the opposite side.
This is actually the first game in Daniel Jones, a k a Dani Dimes career, but he's had Sterling Shepard, Darius Slaten and then Evan Ingram sang Kwon Barkley on the line up at the same golden tape.
He's never had that before.
Despite that, we both are in agreement that various Leighton is the guy this week.
I think that this is the breakout, as you said earlier.
Breakout session, Part two for Darius Slaten.
I think 10 games last year he threw down 850 yards or something.
Someone catches like just that.
Those are bananas numbers and he was on track.
He's ever been able to touch down a game.
Yeah, his last 16 or so games that he played. He is.
He's on track to be a kind of a Deontay Johnson style potential league winner for a lot of people that got him later and fancy draft this year.
Um, say Kwan, I think, due for a comeback in this game, the only other thing I would bring up for i D. P.
Logan Ryan only played 56% of snaps last week.
I think that number is going to continue to go up, and if you remember last year different schemes, for sure.
But Logan Ryan was essentially the number one, defense it back in one of the top five fantasy players and most scoring formats based on his attention and his really lack of shutdown performance on the field.
I'm just watching.
I'm not recommending you start him.
Oh, come on, now, let's let's let's put some respect on the man's name, Alright? So little gun right? Went out there and he got *** interception Sure passes that he threw down like 90 tackles.
He was playing and then he was playing the slot corner.
My my thought process is that if you have a lot of tackles as a cornerback, that doesn't mean you're necessarily playing super well.
But he didn't play well last year.
I'm not trying to **** on Logan Ryan.
I just think there's a reason he was a free agent forever this offseason.
I was like, 32 years old.
He's not Dion Sanders, like, Okay, I'm with that.
He's not that guy.
Put some respect, a man's name.
You know what I'm saying here, Logan Ryan, though, look, And Ryan, I think I'm just keeping an eye on if he's on waivers right now and you're in the cornerback required pick him up because if he reaches 80% of what he did last year, you're going to have an advantage every single week in your lineup.
Regardless, um, on the next game, it was really terrible.
It was, uh, same Donald Trump.
So Detroit at Green Bay, 46 point over under Green Bay's favorite negative six or not favorite.
Negative six, but the favorite by 6.5.
Oh, man, I don't love that lines defense.
We saw what? Chicago in the second half to them, and it wouldn't be surprising to see Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams pick up exactly where they left off.
Right? So, uh, I'm not gonna take the under because I don't see Chicago scoring a whole lot here or Detroit scoring a whole lot here. Sure.
Give me the under the Green Bay covers.
All right, I'm gonna take Green Bay covering for sure.
I'm picking Green Bay to win the game, and I actually I'm going to take the over.
Okay? So you like to try to score some points with no Kenny Golladay in the lineup and some uncer*****y it running back.
And I think that Matt Ryan will throw a couple touchdowns.
One of them might need to the green Stand back.
You said Matt Ryan.
You just love that Ryan.
So I'm just hoping they had a better quarterback.
But it's not right.
That's that's that, right? Matt Stafford, I think, will be good for a couple touchdowns.
One might be for the other team, but regardless, we'll throw the ball around holidays out.
You just mentioned that I want to see DeAndre.
Swift wasn't really so.
We have a happy with him last week, especially in that last moment in the game.
We talked about that A little bit of a four o'clock show last past.
Got a really bad spot, right right hand.
I think that the other thing I really wanna watch her, though, is you have Davante Adams.
Of course, Yeah, people kind of know what Erin Jones is.
He'll be great some weeks, though not as great over weeks, but it will be good for you.
Overall, I want to see the markets.
Valda, Scantlin versus Taliban was our showdown.
Which one of those guys is going to emerge as the true number two? Or are we going to see a team with three viable fantasy wide receivers? We will not see three viable fantasy wide receivers this is gonna be a situation where MBS is gonna beat out the bazaar king.
And it'll be, you know, our guy Adams.
It's gonna be MVS Lazard King is gonna peppering from time to time.
Then Erin Jones will be the number three passing target in the offense with, you know, one of the tight ends eventually emerging as the fourth guy.
I'm still gonna watch it.
I'm not sure I totally believe you, but I do.
I do side with you.
I just think that's okay.
We'll have it on Sunday tickets here.
We're gonna We're gonna do the other fantasy match up on the defensive side.
Jagger Alexander was an absolute monster last week.
You're not gonna get that from you scored 42 points in our league, but Kevin King is traditionally for the last few years now have been a top 10 quarterback in scoring and he actually was pretty poor last week.
I just want to keep an eye on how teams air targeting the Green Bay Packers backfield because a lot of that is going to end up dictating who is the better fantasy player.
You don't want to necessarily play like Richard Sherman in fantasy.
You wanna play the guy that's getting most of the targets, which is typically the lesser cornerback in this situation? I don't know.
I mean, it might be a situation where you want to avoid both of them.
But traditionally speaking, Green Bay has always put out one good cornerback for a GP.
And I just want to keep an eye on how this Target shares matchup.
I think watching Kevin King will be on the other side, pairing him up against Quintas Cephus because that will be the other receivers gonna start in Kenneth Holidays place and see if it's measured Well, okay, e, especially in Dynasty.
If you don't already have him roster, he's worth the end of the end of the rosters.
Share for short.
I just realized I don't have my sea Hawks jersey on This is a travesty.
What a terrible screen.
So Minnesota at the really also start? Sure, Paul Minnesota at in the 49 point over under.
That's a big one.
India's only favorite, though by 3.5.
This is gonna be a close one.
I do like ending to cover, and I think that we were gonna take the over on this one.
There's been a lot of points scored.
The Colts of defense has some good players.
Darius Leonard is a monster.
Divorced. Buckner's a monster.
Justin Houston is not dead yet.
Like Bobby, Oak Creek is a good player. Collectors.
They you know they have good players.
But here's the thing. Those corners air Not good.
They're going to allow a bunch bunch yards in the passing game.
They're gonna allow some touchdowns.
They just can't stop anybody.
And Kirk Cousins is just competent enough to take advantage of Xavier Rhodes and and Kenny. More of those guys.
Rocky Sin was supposed to start today and cover Adam feeling he is now out fire way are hooked on a feeling today.
Always up Rahman, DFS.
Stick him in your lineup.
He's in for a big day.
I'm looking for 10 20 years under my notes for Minnesota.
I just have feeling just just to reemphasize that you already know Dalvin Cook is really good.
It's gonna be feeling, you know, we need to see what's gonna go on with this other receivers.
Olabisi Johnson vs Justin Jefferson.
Jefferson did not even see the feel that the guy was a ghost face, but he had.
When he did, he had a few patches that he looked really good.
I mean, you look better than what I heard he was doing.
And he needs to run Mawr routes.
And if he's not out there running routes, he's not.
And he used to you in fantasy or otherwise.
He's a guy to keep an eye on.
I mean, he led the nation and catches last year with Joe Burrow and L S U.
The guy is an absolute monster in the slot, and that's where he's best suited.
They keep trying to line him up on the outside.
He's being miscast.
It's like, you know, imagine a guy like Wes Welker back in the day.
We're gonna put it on the outside if you put in the slightest catch 100 50 passes, right? And so that's where I start looking at the situation.
I said, Okay, well, Jefferson's got to keep an eye on, but feeling wheels up, you're running him out there.
I just will say that if he continues to get out snapped by Olabisi Johnson like that goes back to what we talked about in the week one show and what we do not have talked about off camera for the entire off season.
Everything about Justin Jefferson sounds like it is a little bit.
It's a situation where the expectations should be lowered.
There's a lot of predraft hype coming out for him.
He got drafted, underperformed all through camp right now, all of BC Johnson who B.
Is the man like big fan of him for doing something out of nothing last year.
And I like him because he is one of those waiver wire guys you can get in 40 40 man roster.
Dynasty League can still put up points for you, and I needed it to.
But like, let's be real here.
If you're Justin Jefferson and you're drafted where he was taken, you should not be even considering players on the team that you should be battling for plain.
It's not gonna be a factor in four weeks.
It'll it'll be Jefferson in the next four weeks.
It'll be a situation where they didn't spend that kind of draft capital on him toe.
Yeah, they're gonna figure it out in there, especially if Minnesota loses this week.
You know, you're talking about having won a 12% chance of making the playoffs for teams that are, you know, going to or one.
And one of the situation is, you know, after 34 weeks, if the Vikings are under 500 you know, they're gonna be like a shoehorn them in there.
Get him out there.
We need to know we've got on Indy Paris Campbell.
I love Paris Campbell, because you're starting the week.
He's my start of the week.
I'm gonna take I'm gonna take it.
And here's the deal.
Paris Campbell is in a position where he's gonna covered by my Hughes.
My cues allowed a 1 57 passer rating in Week one and passes thrown against him.
1 57 is in fact, the highest score that you can put up on the NFL passer rating scale.
So he's not playing well right now in Paris.
Campbell is quick, He's fast.
He runs over the middle of the field.
He is to Philip Rivers right now.
What Keenan Allen was to him in San Diego slash Los Angeles.
So expect him to get peppered with targets called Tyronn Taylor and tell them what that's like.
Uh, he's not taking my calls anymore.
After that incident, E might answer Philippe.
Yeah, he needs to bring that back a I cut in because it's already almost 12.
30. We gotta get wrong. T y Hilton.
Throw him in. I want to see what happening with him.
Heinz, the man does 804 represent VCU.
He's gonna be playing.
Scary human being.
I used to serving pizza back in the day in Richmond.
Um, Zac's watching the stream right now.
You'll remember that, but it's like an adult film star not gonna start him in my lineup, but I'm excited to watch him play football.
Gonna ignore that? Jonathan Taylor.
This will be the last week where you could get value for him on D efs.
So grab it and enjoy it while you can.
It's never gonna happen again.
No buffalo at Miami.
Give me 40 to 42.
Give me buffalo giving cover.
And they're actually they're gonna who that's gonna really close.
I'm gonna take barely on the under because I think Miami is good enough defensively to slow Buffalo down.
But I think Josh Allen still runs for enough yards and scores, probably a rushing and passing touchdown.
Yeah, I mean, 42 is actually a pretty low over under, but I'm struggling to picture a scenario where, like Miami, Miami would need to put up 14 and Buffalo would need to put up a certain right to cover that.
I don't I don't e His magic is going to go back to doing what he does.
He's probably going to gift wrap some interceptions for that secondary.
So I just don't love Miami side of that monster.
There's no Tremaine Edmunds this week.
There's no Matt Milano this week from a P standpoint, so a J.
Klein is going to step in.
He was fantastic and Iowa State was fantastic in New Orleans.
You did really well in Carolina like this guy is actually a player and he's really well regarded in NFL circles, reliable tack where he's not gonna give you anything that passing game.
But you know what, he can step in there this week and kick in, you know, maybe eight solo tackles, four or five more assisted, and it'll be a good day for you.
Like if you are able to plug him in for one of those banged up linebackers, you're feeling really good about that, so I d.
Wise on the other end.
I don't really care about in Miami players this week on offense, but Jerome Baker, if you got him, you're starting him.
I don't think he's going to do what he did last week, but with Josh and solo tackles, I mean, I wouldn't be shocked if he has double digit tackle skin with the way that the Bills, he's gonna tackle Josh Allen at least once.
Let's just put it out.
Uh, big man. Let's not passing.
Alright, He'll tackle him, but I'll fall down.
Brandon Jones, Though the safety rookie safety for Miami, Eric Rowe is a converted cornerback playing safety.
He was a guy that actually did really well in GDP last year, especially the last few weeks to get a couple of huge place to bump him up.
It was a savior for me and one i D P. league.
That said, Brandon Jones is a better player, and it's a matter of how long it takes for the coaches to give him confidence before he started playing every down at the strong safety slot, planning over a little bit at free safety at times, but he looked good last week.
Um, don't start him this week, but keep an eye on.
He's especially in Dynasty leagues, and somebody looks worth with picking up.
If you have required D P D B slots in your off, we gotta work on that.
Really not gonna throw these cards right now.
Heavier weight like so I don't watch Jets games because I start to emulate the quarterback.
Speaking of the Jets 40 Niners at Jets last week, we talked about the Ravens just shellacking the Browns.
That was our prediction.
No different here.
I think that the Niners, we're going to take Jeffs to the Wood shed 41 a half over under, uh, the Jets won't hold up their end up taking the under.
This'll be one of those crazy games.
Last week we did call the Ravens just absolutely obliterating the Browns.
The 40 Niners gonna obliterate the Jets.
But here's the thing.
They're going to do it and they're probably gonna throw for less than 300 yards.
It might be like a 250 yard passing game for Jimmy Garoppolo because they're going to run it down the Jets throats.
They're gonna throw it a little bit.
They're going to get up and then grind this thing out.
You're going to see all of the 40 Niners backs this week.
I love most. But you're going to see Tevin Coleman.
You're gonna see Jerick McKinnon.
You're gonna see all these guys so marching out there.
Jeremy Keenan, baby, I'm all in, baby.
All right, Jordan Reed, I know you love this guy.
This week you were talking about him last week to your credit, when kids got hurt.
Your like Jordan? Yeah.
So, yeah, there's give me some Jordan Reed and I'm actually starting all of my d k.
Linus because he's like 2600.
BC is basically a punt.
He already had a defined role.
He's what he's on the field is one of the more athletic tight ends in the league.
This is I don't This is why we can't have nice things.
Um, love them this week.
It's a great punch if you're stacking up running back tight end, which is something I generally do.
Those guys are both gonna get some points this week.
Niners roll the Jets that still end the under.
They cover though the 7.5.
So on the Jets side I d p wise Marcus May Bradley McDougald Marcus May went off last week.
I think he's in line for a good tackle production week.
I don't think he's gonna get as many splash plays, but I think you could start both of those guys.
They both were top 20 defensive backs last week.
I think they will be again this week.
Marcus May was number one.
Yeah, he was the man last week.
I believe that that means he was top 20.
So Chris Herndon, Well, let's not top 20.
Makes it sound like they were 15 and 18.
They were, like 100.
Alright, Chris Herndon.
Chris Herndon is the only guy that's gonna catch passes for the Jets There old teams injured.
I don't want any of the running backs I'm completely out of you.
Don't think that's going to come in for a decade in the making revenge game.
Narratives of the worst, Especially when it's been 10 years since he's been on the roster.
Now there's years.
I think if you could avoid the entire Jets offense, you should do it.
There's no reason to play a jet this week.
Get out of there if you can.
E living on, we need more way.
No cards that. So I'm blaming. There's not a lot of aerodynamics.
Denver at Pittsburgh, 44 point over under Pittsburgh's favored by five.
They're gonna hit the over, and I like Pittsburgh cover e Want to disagree with you, but you're agreeing with me.
These are a little straightforward.
It feels like this week, and that's probably what we're both gonna be really wrong way crash last week.
Uh, people get too easy.
It's usually because you're getting it wrong.
That's that's what my move is.
Um, Courtland Sutton is playing.
I'm not starting him anywhere.
I've actually got him in a league where I am starting.
Deontay Johnson, D J.
Shark and Paris Campbell over Courtland.
Sudden, I just He's injured.
He's coming back.
It's not gonna be a Mike Williams situation.
I don't love his matchup against this hit.
Fergie really not really trying to start anyone in Denver this week.
I think that that I want to give that team a week together just to like Jell Agan.
The Broncos running backs are in big trouble.
There's, I mean, Philip Lindsay's hurt.
Melvin Gordon is still trying to get acclimated.
I don't love it at all.
He's gonna get more touches that he saw last week.
But you saw what Pittsburgh didn't save on Barkley.
I mean, the dude the dude got tackled within half a second of getting the handoff seven times last week.
There is no scenario where I'm playing Melvin Gordon.
I was talking about cycling.
Gordon didn't have that.
It was just like not a big fan.
But on the defensive side, A. J. Johnson.
Um, he's a great story.
Uh, took You know, his story? I don't know his story.
Johnson was accused of ***ual assault while he was in college.
He was kicked off the team.
I spent four years bad on illegally finally got back.
I was able to get a roster spot last year on an NFL team, showed up and played out.
He was really good at Tennessee.
I was really worried about his absence, but he is looking like a stud at linebacker this year.
I mean, I think that he very well could be a top 12 linebacker this week against the Pittsburgh offense.
Bradley jump off the edge and then that's I D. P wise.
Start whoever you want on Pittsburgh's defense, Um, but they're also Deontay Johnson, kind of in that various Slaten realm of quick, fast guys that I'm looking at various latent higher ceiling, for sure.
But the anti Johnson looked kind of like any problem Antonio Brown used to look to is playing that role for been locked Rothenberg and 10 targets.
I don't know if he has the touchdown upside and most of the targets were in that kind of 5 to 8 yard range.
They were definitely using underneath because it's the you know that the Giants were fading back in coverage to take care of juju because he was crushing them in the end zone.
They allowed all the underneath stuff. Deontay.
So it's gonna be a little give and take.
And they're probably frustrated in one half, you know, because it will be all juju, you know, you're waiting for Deontay, and then it's gonna flip in the second half or vice versa.
So it's, you know, both guys were work either way, fire him out like it's a great wide receiver through this week.
I think he's a fine DFS play Chase Claypool.
I'm not playing anywhere, but it is worth monitoring how he does.
He has the best plays in the game.
Last week, even though he had a few I'm gonna vulture Cem important catches from Deontay and Judy.
Yeah, for sure. For sure.
He'll be a pain in the butt, just worth monitoring, because that's the season progresses.
It might become a situation where Deante is sealing its lowered a little bit with PayPal and vicariously, maybe juju as well.
Moving on right back in my hands, Baby is a Marriott, a special asking myself.
I didn't go anywhere either.
I'm telling you, it's better than your throw.
Darling Ran's at Philly, 46 point over and under, over and under and Phillies favored by 1.5.
I'm actually take the Rams.
When Give me the Rams to win this thing, and I think they'll cover.
There's gonna be enough points scored in this thing.
Um, you know, Miles Sanders is back.
Lane Johnson is back.
The Eagles were start to get back to at least being healthy.
I don't know if that's gonna be enough, because from an interior standpoint, I don't think they've got the ponies to run with rockers and Donald.
Like those two guys.
You saw what Aaron Donald was doing.
Yeah, watching it against you.
But now you're gonna watch Aaron Donald go in there, just blow up the inside of their own line.
So, you know, I don't I don't love.
You know, a bunch of the individual players will get his touches.
He'll actually probably do some damage in the passing game.
I don't love the Rams backers covering him, but it is gonna mean some tackle opportunity for Reader and Kaiser.
So yeah, just a note on Sanders.
I mean, like, that often sucked last week like through and through, and they were playing the best front seven.
In my opinion, football but even still not a great backfield and they still didn't do anything.
God, I had a good game.
But like whatever I think that they're going to lean in on Miles Sanders this week, assuming he actually is back to 100% I'm not sure that he is.
But if he is mild Sanders that everyone is hyping up pre season as a value play as a running back one because of his PPR, his reception upside.
This might be a week where you see a guy go for 75 80 yards receiving as a running back and actually when they run before maybe 30 or 40 yards.
But it doesn't matter, because in PPR he still gives you 15 to 20 points, right? Exactly.
Well, you know, you wanna talk about Sean Jackson last week and how he had all these air yards and got to stick with him because of the air yards, which is true, and you want to show you guys get a lot of their yards, but those were bad targets downfield like they weren't good.
And so my expectation is that we're going to see a few more of those deep shots.
But you're going to see Ramsey queuing up pretty hard on on Rieger.
And then you have the linebackers matched up on Sanders and then the two tight ends.
I wouldn't be surprised at all to see them coming out in 12.
You know, with Sanders, a single back with Godard and hurts.
And they're gonna go for 8 102 again? No, but the over under is 46 yards and I'll smash the over on yeah, all day.
He's been one of my favorite tightened prospects since he came into the league.
Just, uh, out in the off season.
For those of you that aren't aware a sucker punch.
Josh Sweat highest graded defensive in by PFS last week.
He's a rotational guy and, um, Derek on its back.
He's healthy, so Josh Sweat probably isn't gonna get as many snaps.
But I want to see how that plays if he continues to put up that sort of performance, not a guy that I really pay attention to in my line up this year.
But if you play in Dynasty I d P leagues, it might be worth considering.
Josh Sweat if he's on waivers to stash and hold looking at Brandon Grand contract situation in the future.
Barnett gotta gotta eso keeping on sweat.
He's just curious guy look at I know that you're big on Avante Maddox this week and I D p yeah, you know when you need corners, right? So a lot of these corner leagues the we talked Well, yeah, the lesser corners usually getting the work.
Well, teams were still staying away from Darius Slay a little bit we saw last week.
You know, the Washington football team stayed away from Slay, you know, kept McLorin kind of bottled up a little bit.
So go out Avante Matics forced him to beat you in that secondary, which opens up tackle, opportunity, pass defense opportunity.
He's definitely worth a look if you're if you're in a position.
Um, Troy Reader is an interesting play just due to the injuries and kind of the depth chart in general with the Rams, they're trying to figure out the Cory Littleton replacement right now.
E I like reader like Kaiser to I like both of the middle backers here, there's gonna be a situation where you're talking about rockers and Donald just eating up.
Four Eagles offensive lineman between them and those guys having straight line runs at Mile Sanders wide open, one on one tackling so solo opportunities there.
It'll be an interesting Michael Thomas up 2 to 4 weeks of this high ankle sprain.
Sorry, it's not relevant to this game, but just came across the wire 2 to 4 weeks on Michael Thomas.
I have him in the Brazilian league's, uh, pouring out for my homie.
Um, Michael Brokers and the other guy brought him up a few times, but happy.
Happy to slide him in as my d end.
If you have to start them this week, Aaron Donald's is going to consume the attention, and this is so far at least, the best team to play against if he wants sacks.
So Michael Rocker is going to get a couple unmitigated rushes towards Winds.
I think he's gonna get a sack this week.
He scored about 20 points and I d p for us and our scoring last week. I could see it again.
I would be not be shocked.
To see two or three tackles in the sack actually eats quarterbacks, too, so it's possible that he's a hungry boy moving on.
So Carolina at Tampa Bay Uh, Tom Brady bounce back 47 point over under Tampa's favored by 8.5.
Yeah, they're not gonna cover that. E.
Think they're gonna win, but I don't think they cover disagree.
And, well, that's fine.
There's I don't believe in Tampa Bay's defense, the way other people dio.
I think there's a lot of love out there for Tampa Bay, because what shock Baird did last year? You have Devon White's a lot outside.
I don't secondary, even though they did add Winfield, the rookie.
I like him, but again last week.
E don't know that he's there, right? He's not.
The difference maker is not a Jamal Adams right? Similar to Brandon Jones in Miami.
You got playing time that Jones, but both guys, we're still getting a feel.
You have no God went out there.
You still don't know which tight end you're rolling with, and then the running back situation is really unsettled.
And if you own like rodeo right now, I'm scared because this could be the wondered for net coming out party.
Now The good news for Tampa Bay is that that Carolina defense is like all rookies.
It's all new guys they could be easily taken advantage of by experienced quarterback Tom Brady's ill.
However this is gonna be.
This will be the fourth week in a row he throws a pick.
Six will be four straight games with a pick six for baby that, well, we're the other guys that are in that group. It's Tom Brady.
It's Blaine Gabbert.
So it is overrated.
Well, I took a lot of Tom Brady in the preseason because you had God when you had Evans yet O.
Howard, you know, you were trying to figure out the running back situation.
You thought I'd be Keyshawn Von and you're looking at that defense saying that there's gonna be so many opportunities in this offense to score points.
Evans was basically dead. Week one.
Godwin is out week to now.
It's like, Okay, we're relying on Scotty Miller.
Okay, that's good.
Miller is like, if you haven't just jump in sure, playing in D efs, he is another guy that as long as Mike Evans or Chris Godwin is injured and not playing Scotty Miller is going to show up.
He is that fast little slot guy that Tom Brady has always loved.
And the Edelman Welker? Yeah, man, I mean Scotty Miller, like even in redraft leagues.
If he's sitting on waivers right now and you do, first come first serve after waivers, go grab him and just slide him in the back.
And if you're struggling with wide receiver with Michael Thomas, things like that.
He's a great feeling, super cheap option in DFS too.
So if you want to pay up for, like, Julio, Ana Mari and some of these other guys in the big time games, you can plug him in as a new upside.
Cheap play kind of You read us great DF strategy, in my opinion this week there can we throw him in and then pay down on Paris, Campbell and Scotty? No, they go.
Yeah, you can still throw like a Marine Julio potentially in that lineup because you're gonna save so much a tight end.
So much a defense.
So much of those two white hot spots and heck, you could go Kyler Murray, a quarterback and knife yourself Pretty kick ass on the line up for sure.
Jeremy Chen, just speaking on defense, tackles lots of tackles.
There was some murmurs about other people playing in his place.
Jeremy Chance the guy, he I just absolutely love him and I p uh and then the to inside linebackers fire him up for Tampa, Devon White and loathe Monte David.
Thank you, um, and then the Rojo for net thing.
We're talking about this before the show, and I think there is going to be appointed some sometime this year.
We're Leonard Fournette is like, Hey, I am Leonard Fournette and I can still play football.
He's still better, definitely can't.
But I don't know if that's going to be sooner or later, and I think this game is going to give us a pretty good compass because it wasn't last week.
And if Ronald Jones goes out there, dominate snap share again, has a good game.
I think that the four net train is going to be something where, like, you could essentially drop him and leaves if they're short pinches and pick him up in three or four weeks and playing for back half of the season so anymore.
That's their game a week.
Atlanta At twice in a row, we've got Atlanta gave a week.
This is strictly like we're talking about.
It's a mix of, like what? We wanna watch this football fans, but also for fantasy purposes.
This is a game where again, just like against Seattle last week, start whoever you got in this game, I mean literally throw it Rod Woodson.
You could throw it as a flex like it doesn't matter pretty much everyone.
Maybe not Dalton Schultz.
He might be the only person I'm like, Maybe, but give me So I am trying to build this many line ups a seemingly impossible in d.
With the greater combination of Matt Ryan.
Julio Ridley Amar E Give me all of those receivers.
Give me Dak with all the same receivers.
I want all of them. This is gonna be a fantasy bonanza.
Tons of points scored, but it will be of really close game where a lot of tit for tat neither defense is really that good, especially in the back end.
And you're talking about Dallas defense.
It just lost late.
Mandresh, I don't believe in the defense.
I think you know Jaylin Smith, a nice player.
DeMarcus Lawrence's nice player.
You saw some good things that Alden Smith you know, he's been in hiding for the last several years.
There's there's some good players, but only as good players to. It doesn't make him a good defense.
And so when I think about who's covering Julio for Dallas Shadow Buz A.
Sorry, Julio wins.
Who's covering Calvin Ridley? You one of us? A conversation when you throw it back.
Who's covered? Amari Cooper? Covering? Yeah, exactly.
And that's why I'm smashing the over 50.
Highest over under the week.
I believe we're taking the over taking the over.
I'm with you on that.
We're both going with the over.
I'm gonna take Dallas toe win, and they're going to cover the three point because I think it's a one touchdown game.
I don't know if it's a field goal game.
All right, well, just for the sake of big contrary, and I'm gonna take it, okay? I don't actually believe that, but I wanna have some variety.
Zeke is a guy who can run wild, obviously today, too, and so wait.
I think that's where the separation comes in will be that late touchdown that pushes the game over that three point over.
If you want to be a sneaky boy this week.
Russell Gauge If people are paying attention to the league, not super sneaky but for those random like work leagues where people still don't know who Russell gauges despite last week, perfectly happy throwing it in the DFS, Deon Jones and I D.
I gave up a lot of shares of Deon Jones this offseason.
I know that it's a matter of when he gets injured, but he could have a huge game this week, and that's all we got for that one.
Jared could be a monster inside because you do have, you know, new center in there in Dallas, Travis Frederick had retired in the off season.
That old line isn't what it had been last several years, and I think Grady Jarrett could be making things a little difficult for that.
One of those is actually really shocking.
If you goto a lot of these i D P sites that put their I D P rankings their season long.
Grady Jarrett is like not in the top 35 any site right now for I d.
And it doesn't make sense to me because he is, in my opinion, when you look at I d p production on the d l.
Donald never was like Aaron Donald, defensive lineman.
He's the only defensive tackle on DeForest Buckner.
Grady Jarrett's been there being a top 15 I.
Defense lineman for four years now. He's gonna do it again this year.
I love him and I deep.
I like him a lot to Here's the thing, though.
For all of those writers that are out there, putting it those rankings and Grady Jarrett is like non existent in the rankings.
That tells me the scoring mechanism they're using it is completely well, or what they're doing is they're not giving any kind of boost to that position.
They're saying Okay, well, we're gonna make it so that it's linebacker tackle heavy.
Well, Grady Jarrett is not going to get you 100 tackles.
He's gonna get you 40 tackles if you're lucky, but he's gonna get Q B hits and he's gonna get past his head over 45 tackles for four years.
He's gonna get your 40 tackles.
All right, anyway, just to wrap things up here, four o'clock games.
I actually I'm going to hand this over to you because I have not checked my lineups, and I want to get stuck with that 12 5.
All right, so here's the first.
And Kansas City versus the Chargers.
This one's in L.
So we've got a 47 a half over under.
Uh, you know, I'm actually take the under here.
And so I need the pencil.
Second, write this down.
We're taking notes here so we don't forget who we took.
So we're gonna go ahead and take the under, and Kansas City is not gonna cover.
I don't think this game is as much of a blowout as people think.
Pat Mahomes has been historically bad, at least last two times.
He's seen the Chargers and those corners.
You know, when you're talking about having you know Casey Hayward back there? He didn't look great last week, but he's still really freaking good.
And then you've also got you know Chris Harris, who came over from Denver.
He's the best slot corner in football, so they have the capability to shut down some of these Chiefs receivers.
So I'm gonna take Kansas City to win, but they're not going to cover the 8.
It's a big spread.
We've got Sammy Watkins got real quick.
Live lineup discussion real quick.
George Kittles out for me.
I'm not playing court inciting this week, so I gotta decide on my flex.
Chris Carson, D.
K. Metcalf, James Robinson.
Hmm, or corniness.
Let me see this thing.
Cory Davis, D K.
Metcalf, Chris Carson e Don't like d K. Metcalf.
He's gonna he's getting He's getting Gilmore. It's really Cory Davis.
Give me Corey Davis.
If he can't get it done this week, he's never gonna.
And then you might as well just drop them.
Uh, what? Somebody else by him? Good stuff.
All right, I'm back.
Okay, so you got some notes here on some other guys and because I couldn't read your writing and you can't read my writing.
I will let you take that card.
Mike Williams First.
I just want to see if Tyrod Taylor has figured out like that.
He has a really good receiver in Keenan Allen.
I don't know if he's going to.
I really wanna watch Jeff Kelly to.
I had him down in this note.
He's a guy where he's the other back with Austin Heckler and he's gonna be Jackson.
It is gonna be Kelly moving forward.
So this offense supports two running backs, and it has.
What we need is more dump off passes to Austin Heckler.
Yeah, I just I don't know.
With tyros makeup.
I kind of feel like even though I don't think Justin Herberts ready to play in the NFL If Justin Herbert came in, he would be better for the running back.
Yeah, yeah, but Josh Kelley is a guy that I highly recommend picking up this week if you can.
There's not a lot of time left stashing them, especially in the event of injury to exclude.
It would be a monster that smashed the last two real quick cool.
So we've got Baltimore at Houston.
5 over under, so you know, I don't know.
I'm gonna take the over here because I like Baltimore to score bunch points. Yep.
My start of the week is marquees brown e think that man is about to blow up this week? My brother asked in our text chat, family text chat.
No one in my family pays attention to fantasy football.
Except for my brother and I.
He was like, Should I start some Titan? Giesecke in a Titan premium league has, like, two points perception or brown.
Marcus Brown like all day.
It's gonna blow up this week.
Yeah, Patrick Queen and I.
He looked great last week and we expect more of the same this week.
You know, he matches up favorably against David Johnson coming out of backfield against Jordan Akins over the middle of the field.
You know, I think he's gonna be a guy that can come back up some tackles to, um you know, for Houston to Shawn Watson, this is one of those few weeks, so I love to.
He's considered widely, is an elite level fantasy quarterback.
I forgot. I don't have a kicker in this league.
This is not the you told that guy 12 45.
You failed on that.
Shawn Watson is a guy you typically don't bench right.
This might be the exception to the rule.
I think Baltimore's defense is exceptionally well geared, and I think they're one of the few units second taken to Shawn Watson and shut him down.
They offer enough as far as pass rush.
They've got enough on the back end and coverage.
I mean, I'm looking at Baltimore, and it's not just because of the way they just stomped Cleveland, but in the preseason, they were already my Super Bowl pick.
I liked him quite a bit.
It might be a bad week to be a Watson owner.
Jordan Akins is another guy to keep watching, you know, great athletic makeup.
We think by mid season or later he's gonna being starter.
So if you're in a deeper league and you can roster, you should go ahead and do that.
I'm proud of you.
Just a quick note in that league.
And you should do this in redrafted if you playing these stupid leaks that start kickers.
First of all, the leaks dumb Second of all.
Just drop your kicker.
Just trap your kicker each week and adding an extra guy under your bench and wait and see how things play out.
I did that with Corey Davis.
I was just able to slide.
And Corey Davis dropped my second defense and picked up a kicker at last minutes.
Kickers don't matter.
Hashtag kickers are people, too.
Um, we've got Washington at Arizona Washington know.
Back, back, back, back here. Right. You're 100%.
I take that back.
Washington that Arizona.
We've got 45 a half over under.
Um, you know what? I think both these teams can make that happen.
I'm gonna take you over.
Give me the over in this game, there's gonna be enough points scored, probably on the Arizona side.
You saw what DeAndre Hopkins did do a pretty good 40 Niners defense.
And what calibrated to a pretty good 40 Niners defense front seven in Washington is nasty.
Don't get me wrong, but there's nobody on the back half to cover DeAndre Hopkins.
It's gonna be a lot of points scoring the Arizona side and there's gonna be just enough scored on the Washington side.
You know, it's gonna be Gibson.
And, you know, I think he's gonna be a player this week.
You still of McLaurin? Patrick Peterson, the shell of himself.
Go ahead and give me these two teams to combine for 46. 47.
I I really I agree with everything.
I'm gonna take the under on this game.
Um, and simply again, just to be kind of contrary.
But for me, I think 45 is actually, like, a perfect line, just for the sake of hoping defense's figure it out because they certainly didn't last week gonna go for the under, um, Fire Secretary McLaren's if you want to.
I have him noted here simply just to figure out if he's relevant anymore.
I don't really think he is, but if he's not this week, I'm gonna kind of write him off.
So you said start.
McLaurin actually sat him in one league this week and around that area slated over e three, if you need Thio.
So you know, I like McLaurin, but you know, there's there's some caveats to that.
I want to see Gibson this week.
I do want to see Gibson this week.
I did put him in a couple of lineups is a cheap option of running backs, like really stack up those expensive Nikes.
He is like the ultimate Hi Seeley low floor guy.
That's why I love him for DFS giving those tournaments.
He's gonna win at some point.
You know, it'll be one of those, but Washington doesn't have any linebackers except for Jon Bostic.
Lots of tackles.
He's gonna be great.
He's always been good when he's got an opportunity.
90 p great guy to slide in.
If he's available on waivers, which in a lot of leaks, you actually probably still is.
Snag him if you need to.
If you have any line linebacker issues withdrew drink, pulling out things like that.
Go ahead to Cardinals to keep an eye on one on offense.
That's gonna chase Edmunds.
He's number two.
He did score last week.
I expect him to score again, or at least you near it.
He's gonna get plenty of high value touches, so he's a worthwhile guy toe.
Add in deeper leagues.
If you haven't already, you know I'm gonna shallow league and I almost added them this week.
Um, Isaiah Simmons is another guy.
I want to see him get more snaps.
He only played like 20 something snaps or something.
Like a third of their defensive snaps.
You know, he's an athletic specimen.
He tackles while he does a little bit of everything.
I want to see him on the field Mawr because he should put up some insane production if we just keep him, you know, between the lines.
So we'll be back on right around 5 36 o'clock for the halftime show.
Just to recap what happened kind of run through.
What are picks were we did really well last week.
Um, I would like to hope that we do this week, but it felt really easy to make these pics this week, so I'm expecting it to blow up in our faces.
Last week we struggled with Actually, it was week one and like, I don't know, let's go with this one, and it worked out.
Anyway, Here's the thing to remember, and I'm gonna put this out there for everybody.
Last week was the pre season this week, and next week should also be considered basically, preseason games were not really.
Yeah, we're not gonna have great pattern for what the NFL looks like and what fantasy looks like and what the over under should be and how these defense is really are impacting each other until week.
Four weeks, five weeks.
And I know it seems too late at that point in time, but no rookie camps training, cancer truncated, no preseason games.
You have to remember, this season isn't like it has been in the past, so we need to make e.
I actually was pleasantly surprised how put together a lot of the teams looked, and part of it makes me think that Roger Goodell was like, Don't call any flags this week just so we could make them look like they know what they're doing.
Because there was no fax all week, every announcer, every game made mention of it Really clean football game, um, starts with week where Paris Campbell in marquees brown.
If you're struggling right now and figure trying to figure out which one of those guys to start over, someone else just throw him in, man, they're gonna be great.
Game of the week is Dallas and Atlanta.
And we will be back here in about four hours just to give you our thoughts and what happened and what's coming up.
Be sure to tune in.
Yeah, and thanks again.
Thanks to everybody on this show.
Shout out to Zach and Thomas and my mom and all of you beautiful people.
It's good to see you.
Great to see you.
I'll see you again later.
They're so happy.
You came your hair.
We're gonna end the broad.
