So the tweet is out and Trevor, right before, before we get into talking injury and just kind of some news updates, what do you think of the Thursday night football game where you did you bet this game one way or the other? How did your fantasy players turnout was competitive game overall? At least it was fun to watch, huh? Yeah, Yeah, it was fun to watch.
You know, I I didn't put money down on this game, but I would have picked Would have probably leaned Cincinnati just a little bit.
Um, just because the Browns are the Browns and Joe Burrow liked what I saw Week one Electric saw week Tua's.
Well, um, Browns were just able to have that extra edge in the running game that helped them whole game.
Yeah, and I didn't really have any money going into this game either.
I was just busy with streams and stuff before him, but I did get the Bengals plus 11.5 lives.
So I didn't catch that one because of the, uh, you know, last minute drive there.
I don't I don't think you could necessarily call it garbage time because the Bengals weren't completely out of the game, but it was very late, obviously a very lengthy drive at the end of the game there.
But, hey, it covered my 11.5.
So I'll take that any time it counts.
Joe Burrow to He's gonna have a future in this league for sure.
I mean, I don't think anybody really doubted that coming in, but he's looked good through these first two weeks.
I think he's just got to get MAWR practice more reps in with that receiving corps.
Green did have a drop or two that you know he wouldn't expect out of him.
But once they get clicking once they get going, I think that Bengals offense has has a lot of potential for sure.
Yeah, you know, I worry about that offensive line, but if they can shore that up, that'll be great.
Lost CJ Oussama, I believe, is oma eso that'll be tough for them, but, um, to get a get a little bit of, ah production out of their rookie tight on their in sample, I believe so.
They should be all right.
And I mean, if you know that that's what you need.
That your number one concern in drafts moving forward.
Obviously a lot of young talent in that receiving corps A J green, even relatively young.
He's obviously been beat up and had some miles on his body.
But they said during the broadcast last night he plans to play 4 to 5 more years because he's taken the last couple years off, essentially.
So if they can make some good draft picks and shore up that that offensive line.
Yeah, I think it's good things moving forward for the Bengals.
The Browns? Obviously, uh, it's a wait and see situation with them all the time, but yeah, I guess that's enough for Thursday Night Football.
I hope all of you enjoyed this weeks matchup.
Of course, this is an NFL Stream, but I wanted to start off the new section of this talking just the n b A just uh for briefly here as Yanis Antonescu Po was announced.
The M V p back to back M v P.
He also won the defensive Player of the year this year.
It makes him only the third player in N B A history to win those two awards in the same year.
The other two were Michael Jordan in 1988 and Hakeem Olajuwon in 1994.
So obviously we're talking 25 years since somebody's done this to pretty big names.
Um Yanis, you know, it's not the way that the Bucks wanted things to go in the playoffs a lot of questions around Yanis.
But, he said today on day, it's a quote here, he said, a zoo long as everybody's on the same page and as long as everybody's fighting for the same thing, fighting for the same thing every single day, which is to be a champion, I don't see why not to be in Milwaukee for the next 15 years and also last week he made the comments about how others see a wall and they go around it.
He wants to plow right through it.
So signs are pointing towards Yana sticking around in Milwaukee.
Obviously, that's a good sign.
It's a great sign for Milwaukee Bucks fans, but I wanted to ask you with the team is a whole.
You know, there's a lot of aging names on this team.
Guys like George Hill, Kyle Korver, Brook Lopez.
Um, do you think the bucks run it back with the same exact squad last year? Are we going to see some changes coming even with Yannis? Yeah, remaining firm.
I think we're going to see some changes.
I think if you run it back, the risk you run is the same thing happening.
Maybe not second round.
But if you don't get to that finals and you don't change anything, um Yanis might see that and say, Are we really going for it? Whereas if you make some moves, maybe they pan out, Maybe they don't.
But at least you're there saying, Hey, we're spending in the luxury tax or were trading for you were trying to make things work.
I think that's much more enticing for a guy of Yannis caliber.
Um, it's a tough spot, though, because obviously, you know, these guys are They have a very short window with the aging names and this was their year and you know, you don't want to use it as an excuse.
But there there is something to the fact that this season was stopped for so many months and then the restart.
It just changed the complexion of the season.
It changed the flow of the game for specifically this Bucks team.
I mean, they were bar none.
They were the most fluent, best working together team before the stoppage.
I mean, they were just killing opponents when winning 60 plus games.
Everything was on the right track and I firmly believe, you know, as a box fan, you could say Homer or not.
But I firmly believe that if there was no stoppage to the to play, if there was no stoppage to this season, the Bucks would have had a different result, or at least would have looked better overall against the heat or whoever would have ended up being their matchup in the in the playoffs.
I just think, you know, it's such a hard season to really, you know, make or break future decisions off of because of everything that surrounded it.
However, if we're talking, you know this older team, If we're talking running it back with the same exact squad, I think you're totally right.
You know that 60 win team it could drop down to a 40 42 wins, 45 wins somewhere in there next year.
It might not get the number one seed, and then the road just becomes harder.
And now you've not wasted.
But now you've delayed yourself two years and you're for sure gonna have to rebuild after next year anyhow, so I think they're gonna have to You gonna have to do something.
Um, whether it's move on from some of the old guys.
Bring a big name in, you know.
Can you draft really? Well, I'm not really sure what it is, but you got to keep you honest.
Happy because, uh, he could He has every right to change his mind.
You know, it's the same thing we saw out of LeBron in Cleveland.
It was they were able to win that one championship.
But when things got harder when the franchise stopped doing stuff for him are really, you know, fully committing to him.
He left, you know, he left toe.
He left in Miami the first time, and then he left to Los Angeles the second time.
And I feel like Yonas has every opportunity to go down that same path where if the bucks don't keep them happy, don't do anything to get better in the next couple.
You know, 34 years, even he could end up in a spot where it's like, you know, that we missed our opportunity.
We missed our best chance.
You guys haven't done what I've needed you to do these past few years.
And even though I've said I'm not going anywhere, you know, 15 years is a long time to three on the road.
He might feel differently.
Um, it's slightly concerned me, and it's too bad because I do think, you know, guys like George Hill, Brook Lopez, those guys, they deserved a shot at the championship and they all played really well and they played their roles fantastically.
But again, if you don't change this thing up a little bit, you might be caught in between that rock and a hard place of, you know, wanting to give this team a second chance, but also not showing honest that you're committed to moving forward.
Well, on on top of that, I'll tell you what.
If they're fans, I would assume they're gonna be fans next time the playoffs come around in the NBA.
I would certainly hope so.
Whoever has to play at Milwaukee, be ready and be very afraid because those fans air loud and they will be even louder and they will be mad and they're going to go absolutely ballistic and the team's going to rally behind it.
Who's on that team we have yet to see.
But it's gonna be a different animal when the Bucks play home totally agree, which again just plays back into my argument of this was different because of the pandemic.
It would have ended up different fans would have made a big difference.
The momentum would have made a big difference.
It's just unfortunate, especially for a team that hasn't even really sniffed the championship opportunity since the seventies, let alone 11 Just unfortunate that this is is how it had to play out.
But, um, hopefully, they can keep you honest, happy.
And hopefully, no matter who they bring back next year, they can lock in that number one seed and try it again.
It'll just be it'll be interesting to see how things are handled.
I'm not worried about you, honest leaving in the very near future, you know, a year or two.
But like I said, you get 34 years down the road.
He starts ending up with a player.
Option, starts fielding offers from other teams.
Even if he does sign that Supermax that only locks him up for what? Another five years, and he's only hardly 23 24 years old.
I think he's probably 24 25 somewhere in that range.
But we've seen the lifespan of N B A players these days.
And even if you're even if you have your honest for the next 4 to 5 years, there's no reason that if you don't put forth your best effort, if you don't put championship quality team around him that he might not end up leaving.
Nobody wants to see that as a box fan, and I guess we'll continue to have those discussions in the future.
Well, we should probably get back to talking about NFL gonna try and keep this one.
I'm kind of short and sweet for you here tonight as we're just gonna run through some news and then some injury updates.
flight, which I have to drive to Minneapolis for tonight, So I am going to try and get out of here by about seven o'clock, but a lot to cover before then.
We'll just start with the news before we jump into the plethora of injuries facing the NFL this week, Um, starting with Dion Sanders.
It was just announced that Dion Sanders is set to become the new head coach of Jackson State.
I believe you would start next year.
It is an FCS team.
Hey, joined bar stool sports as well this year.
So Dion making some moves in his personal and, uh, personal life and career, what do you think about Prime as a coach, and do you think he might be able to climb the ranks? What kind of ceiling does he have here as a coach in college football? I think any player of his caliber, they obviously have a very high ceiling.
Um, but at the same time, we have had a lot of player coaches or former players become coaches that didn't quite make it out.
Everything I've seen from him at the high school level looks good, but that is a whole different animal.
It will be interesting to see how he does an FCS school.
Obviously, it's tougher to get recruits there.
It's tougher to really make a name for yourself there, but he definitely has a name recognition and he will definitely have guys follow him to the end of the Earth and play hard for him.
So I think he's got a good shot and we'll see what he can do in the next few years.
That's a great point.
It is difficult to get those high caliber caliber players difficult to get the big names recruited to an FCF school FCS school.
But you also are facing less scrutiny.
You're facing less expectations, so it's probably a good spot for him.
You know, Dip his feet in the water, um, dip his toes in the water, get his feet wet, a little bit.
And even if it starts off slow, you know you have a lot more leeway and an FCS school versus if you want right to a power five or right to a big name school.
People are going to want and expect big things right away.
And then if that doesn't happen, you know you get labeled with the He was a great player but might not be a great coach.
We've seen that time and time again, across across all sports, where great players don't find success early on in their coaching careers, and then they're kind of tagged with, you know, is this guy even a good coach should be.
Give him another opportunity.
Dion probably gonna be able to avoid that if he goes to Jackson State and find some success.
I wouldn't be surprised if you know a handful years down the road, we see him on the sidelines with notable Division one college.
Yeah, and, hey, even those assistant coaching jobs or the position jobs.
That's a way to move up that ladder.
Exactly, uh, sticking with the coaching.
Hear more news that C.
Anderson the long time Or, I guess you know your definition of long time might be different than mine.
But he was a Denver Broncos running back for quite a few years.
He officially retires at the age of 29.
I don't recall if he was.
If he was in the NFL last year, maybe he got cut.
I really don't know the last time he played a snap of football, but he's 29 years old, officially renounced or announced his retirement.
He plans on starting coaching as well, with his eyes set on a power five school.
Not too much to say about Anderson.
He was a Pro Bowler, a Super Bowl champion, and now, at that age of 29 it seems like, Ah, lot of guys are obviously getting into coaching later on in their careers.
But this is a guy who just decided instead of trying to keep grinding out in football, getting cut, trying to make teams whatever.
I'm just gonna move on to the next step and try and make it in as one of those assistant coaches in a power five school.
So best look best of luck to C.
Anderson in the future as well.
You got anything on C.
Anderson? You wanna add? He's got a Super Bowl ring.
Uh, hey, as faras NFL players go, he really he wanted to get to that level.
He got there, won a Super Bowl.
So congrats to him and hopefully a good retirement for him as well.
You know, the average NFL player that's not a superstar, maybe 35 years in the NFL.
If you're lucky, he was able to last longer than that.
Reached the top of the mountain with a Super Bowl.
Did sell with Peyton Manning.
I mean, it's a it's a pretty good career.
Pretty good career.
All in all, four C. J. Anderson.
So those are two coaching updates.
We will move on now to a little.
A little bit of rumors, a little bit of drama involving Allen Robinson and the Chicago Bears.
He unfollowed all of his Bears teammates on all social media's and his agent put a statement out there that, you know, clearly made it known to everybody that he is unhappy.
Allen Robinson unhappy.
I meant to look up his his contract.
I will look up those numbers quick when you are giving me your feedback, unless you wanna look that up.
Well, um, either way, he's massively underpaid right now, compared to how good he is compared to his rank in best receiver in the NFL, all he's looking for is an extension or a brand new contract to kind of reflect his talents and reflect what receivers across the league are being paid.
It looks like the Bears are not really budging, not wanting to give him that extension.
Eso he is unhappy has not demanded a trade yet.
His agent also made that known that they have not demanded a trade, but it is well known amongst the Bears and across the league.
Allen Robinson is not happy.
Um, how do you think Bears fans should be feeling about this, Uh, you know, given the fact that they're already struggling a quarterback, Mitch now is having to deal with drama out of his number one target, his best receiver and also as a fantasy owner.
Does it worry you at all that we might see Robinson hold out at some point or end up on a different team? Or do you think he's? He's a pretty good play, no matter where he ends up in fantasy.
I think he's a pretty good play, no matter where looking at his contract.
Three years, 42 million.
Six of that in signing bonus.
And he will be an unofficial unrestricted free agent next year, thinking about a base of just shy of 11 million this year.
Um, you know, I'm going to be honest.
I think a lot of a decent amount of people and me it's hard to feel bad for Alan Robinson.
It really is, You know, if he's unhappy, obviously that's tough.
But, you know, people forget started the 2018 season.
It was between the Bears and the Packers, and whether you're a Packer fan or not, if you're picking between Aaron Rodgers throwing to you and having Davante Adams on that other side.
And I think whoever the Bears had a time, it doesn't matter.
I think that's the year they drafted Robiskie.
But even then it seems like you wanted to be the star.
And when you have a quarterback that isn't very consistent, no matter how good you are, is going to be tough.
It will be interesting to see if he does ask for trade.
He's still only 27 so I'm I'm a little surprised he's not just going to run it out and become an unrestricted free agent, although, like you said, he has asked for a trade yet.
Um, if you will at all.
But I think no matter where he lands, he's a start.
But like you pointed out, I would worry a little bit about a contract holdout.
Um, if his problem is with the contract and not with the situation in Chicago, that could lead to hold out.
But we'll see his agent saying he didn't ask for trade yet.
That's a little bit of good news for the Bears.
At least they're saying something coming out of that camp.
Um, but overall It's definitely a situation monitor, and I think it's going to change a lot with the next coming weeks, based on how he plays and based on how the team in which Strabinsky can perform, Yeah, and honestly, And you, you kind of touched on, too.
I think this course of action is just go out there, continue to ball out whether you're mad at the franchise or not.
If you're an unrestricted free agent, you can earn your money right now.
Obviously, what the mindset he has is that you know he's making 11 million.
That's a good number.
Yeah, that's a good number for any NFL player.
Um, it's not, I don't believe top Top five in the league, but he's asking for another 2 to 3.
5 million if I remember seeing the numbers correct.
So he wants somewhere between 13 and 14 5 million a year.
Um, is that is a big difference when you're talking over three or four years.
Of course, that's another 9 to $12 million but it's not like he's out there playing for for four or five million, like he's getting paid $11 million.
That's still a pretty good number.
Um, this is a guy to that was sent out of Jacksonville because he didn't wanna be there any longer.
He was going toe.
He was gonna have to get paid a decent amount in Jacksonville was just not in the position to do that.
So he, uh he moved on out of there.
Already had, you know, kind of his choice in team one time around are the first time around.
I think I think what the best thing that you could do is just go out there, play your best try and sign a free agent deal.
But what I think he has going on in his mind is, well, 11 million is already pretty good numbers.
So if I could get them to agree on, you know, 14 million over the next three years, secure that extension instead of putting himself up against the market, having to haggle against teams, having to haggle against the market and then end up getting less.
Uh, then he's hoping to get We saw that with Levian Bell as well.
Ultimately, he just got back into a corner.
If he wanted to be on a football team, he was gonna have to take a bit less than he wanted.
I could see that happening toe Allen Robinson instead, which is why he's probably going for the extension at a bonus, You know, three million or whatever.
If if I'm Alan Robinson, I'm more than happy with 14 year, no matter who I'm playing for.
I mean, you're not Michael Thomas.
You're not one of those very, very top echelon guys.
11 million is still a great number.
14 million is an even better number.
I can't ever blame a guy for going out and trying to get his money get his own.
But I just don't think you make a fuss here.
I don't think you try and demand a trade.
And also, if you do, try and demand a trade A.
In your year going into free agency, you come into a new system, a new offense.
You might not be able to perform a swell as the offense that you're already in have already been, you know, accustomed to already already been playing in for a couple of years now.
So if he forces a trade somewhere else and then goes out there and puts up a few lame duck weeks in a row.
That's ultimately gonna be It's gonna be worse on him in the long run, so I don't think he's gonna end up getting traded.
I do think, though he should try and reconcile with the Bears because he's probably probably best suited there right now.
Instead of trying the market again again, I think there's funny teams interested in Allen Robinson, not quite sure, for 14 year.
Are they interested? Um, but I think the Bears, especially if they decided to go with Travis Key, moving forward, they need to make this guy a priority.
Travesty needs need somebody out there like Alan Robinson he can rely on.
And I don't think that you could just depend on a bunch of young guys.
They had that other receiver.
I'm forgetting his name.
It wasn't Kevin White, was it? It was, you know, somebody who they drafted really high, and now it's been three or four years.
He's like, hasn't even played a snap.
So the Bears should not mess around with wide receivers they're in no position to.
I think they should just pay Alan Robinson and get it over with, but it's an interesting situation for sure, and they really don't have anything behind them.
I mean, they have a ton of tight ends, but you need a receiver and true whiskey.
He had a good comeback, but he's still struggling.
A decent amount.
You can't lose a receiver form to if you're the Bears, because then this whole thing is just going to collapse, no matter how good the defense's exactly.
And if you do decide to move on from Travis Key and there's no more Allan Robinson all of a sudden, the Bears, who gave all that away to trade for Khalil Mack, have a good defense.
All of a sudden, you're back and square one.
You're starting over from the very beginning with that offense.
Of course, Nick Foles is there, but it's Nick Foles your long term solution.
You know, I don't There's really wanna press a full reset button while they have a defense like this.
And while they are close, you know the Bears were not a horrible team.
They're not a great team, but you take away your number one receiver, your starting quarterback.
You're kind of pressing that reset button a little bit, which just makes no sense, uh, with them giving up, much as they did to go get Khalil Mack and build up that defense.
One last tidbit on Allen Robinson.
He is the Onley active wide receiver in the entire NFL with a 1400 yard, 14 touchdown season.
Um, that Z those are impressive numbers.
I mean, you're the only guy in the NFL who hit those benchmarks.
You deserve to get paid.
So again, I can't put anything on Allen Robinson wanting to get an extension wanting to get paid.
I think this is more of a Bear's issue, and they should just pay.
That guy let zahk a little bit now about injuries.
We'll start with the only guy who's playing this week, who didn't play last week.
Being Miles Sanders.
He is cleared and set for action for Philly this weekend.
Philly struggled, um, immensely and a bunch of different areas.
Week one ended up losing toe.
Washington I know a bunch of people that that got there that lost in their survivor pools because of Washington beating Philly.
I'm sure Miles Sanders being back is going to help the offense out Help. Once out.
All in all, it's his first game of the year.
What do you think we're going to see out of Miles Sanders? Well, I'm glad to have him back to It'll certainly help out the fantasy team in my flex spot.
But I'm a little concerned.
Uh, the offensive line for Philly.
They just got outplayed, and they do not look good by any means.
And now they're going up against the Rams and and Aaron Donald.
And that's gonna be a problem.
Um, I think Sanders gives them a little bit of a cushion.
I think they can utilize him with some screenplays, some quick passes to him out the back field.
It could maybe relieve some of that pressure.
Um, but no matter what, getting a guy of his caliber back, his running ability is past catching ability.
And I think they really need him to show up this week.
Um, there have been some rumors about Devante Freeman, Um, possibly well, where he did work out with Philly Possibly coming into the fold.
Um, So I think Philly Philly needs to see him show out here.
Otherwise, they'll really have some question marks going into week three.
Yeah, I think he's going to see a heavy workload after missing that first week.
And, you know, word is, he's fully healthy, Fully ready to go.
He is obviously the number one option in that backfield, and, uh, it didn't work.
Offense didn't work.
Super smooth for the Eagles in week one.
So I think they're gonna try something new trying to get Sanders heavily involved.
Definitely a guy you're gonna want in your lineups this week.
Unfortunately, that is pretty much the only good news we have here, as the rest of the guys we're gonna talk about are either listed as doubtful or for sure, missing for sure.
Missing the game in week number two.
We'll start with the doubt Fels.
So these guys, of course, have a slight chance to play.
But they're not guys they're gonna wanna bank on in your fantasy lineups.
They likely are not going Thio.
See the field most of the time in the NFL.
If you're listed as doubtful, you're not gonna play.
It is very rare that a guy gets back on on the field after being listed.
Um, as a doubtful first one we could talk about is Chris Godwin.
Been in the concussion protocol all week, obviously has not been able to practice because being in that concussion protocol a zoo today, just a few hours ago.
Still no word last I saw was Adam Schefter about six hours ago.
No word on Godwin if he's able to past the concussion protocol, Bucks have no problems putting out there putting him out there, even though he hasn't practiced all week but obviously coming back from a concussion.
Not a super easy thing to do, a lot of hurdles to jump through our hurdles, to jump over hoops to jump through.
So, Godwin, I think, more so than anybody else, has a better chance of playing this week.
But still not a great one.
Of course, the Bucks were playing with a hobbled Mike Evans last week.
Now they're probably gonna be without Chris Godwin this week.
How how big of ah, fantasy impact and offensive impact overall, is this gonna be on the Bucks? And is there any chance, any chance at all that the Panthers come out of out of this with a sneaky, sneaky wind? Well, uh, there's always a chance I wrote off Washington last weekend.
Well, we saw how that turned out.
Um, I think this could turn into a really big week for Mike Evans.
I don't think God one's gonna come back earlier in the year.
Um, or excuse me earlier this week, Arians made it very clear, um, that they'd be very cautious with, um, obviously like toe have him.
But when you have Carolina on the schedule, where Obviously not as good when you have Mike Evans back at full strength like you should be, You still have Scotty Miller.
You still have the Titans, O J. Howard and Gronk.
They should be all right.
I don't see a reason to push him out there.
Um, this does improve the chances for Carolina.
It makes them a little more one dimensional in the passing game, but they still have plenty of weapons.
Um, but Godwin, he's a tough receiver to replace.
He's sneaky fast, and he's a guy that a lot of people didn't even really know about until the end of last season.
That will be missed, Carolina.
It'll help them a little bit.
I just don't see that one injury pushing them over the edge.
Yeah, it's still gonna be a really tough matchup.
Tampa Bay has talent all over the offensive side of the ball.
I think Ronald Jones, the second, is gonna have a big week this week against a very bad Carolina Rush defense.
Just a bad defense.
Overall, I think Ronald Jones has a big part, plays a big part.
I think Gronk plays more of a part in the offense this week, and I think they're gonna be able to get by without Godwin for this one week scenario.
If we were talking multiple weeks, um, or are better opponent for Tampa Bay, it might be a a bigger deal.
It might be a worse situation for them, but like you, said Mike Evans, back healthy.
Neither receiver really did too much too much last week against the Saints.
So even though Miss Godwin, of course, he's a fantastic receiver, I think they're still gonna be able Thio run their offense pretty much regular.
You know, about 90% of the players that they would put that they'd be able to run with God went on the field as well and I think they're going to take care of business against Carolina.
Anyways, I don't see Tom Brady losing in week.
Well, I mean, Tom Brady is fantastic.
Fantastic? Off a loss. Fantastic.
On the bounce back, I don't see him loosing, um, in week two, especially to such a bad in division team.
I mean, if they lose week to to Carolina, it's gonna be it's gonna be mayhem.
I mean, the Yeah, exactly.
Sports media is going to go into a frenzy, but I don't think we have to worry about that this week.
I believe the spread is at 8.5.
Not quite sure if that will move with or without Godwin playing.
Um, but the Bucks are in pretty good position with God went on the field or not eso you're gonna want toe.
Look for a replacement for Godwin.
You're also going to need to look for a replacement.
For Michael Thomas course.
Thomas was one of the most disappointing week one performances, probably across the board on Lee had I think four points or something like that in Week one hurt his ankle.
Initially, reports were high ankle sprain.
He said he was gonna play through it.
It wasn't It wasn't that big of a deal on.
Then a couple days later, it came out that it is a bigger deal or is a bigger deal than they thought it was.
Initially, he would not be playing through.
It is listed as doubtful right now as well, or he he may have been, um, officially ruled out.
I know the Saints were leading towards ruling him out, but the last I saw, he was doubtful.
Either way, this is a big loss.
A significant loss.
Number one receiver as faras stats, total yardage catches everything last year by a mile.
Uh, the offense actually didn't look that great, even though they were ableto handily beat Tampa Bay.
Uh, States office didn't look like their old self.
They weren't just steamrolling everybody.
And I think in order to get back to that, you're gonna need to have Michael Thomas on the field.
This this is gonna be a pretty big issue for them this week.
And you know, he does get a little advantage from playing on Monday night, But I think if you're the saints, it's not smart to play him.
You have Las Vegas.
Week two, you got Green Bay, which that will be a tougher game.
But I mean, then you got Detroit.
You got the Chargers, who, if weak one is any indication, it should be a decent.
It's a decently easy game compared to last year.
And then Week six is a by I don't think you push from here.
And if he's on your fantasy team is hard, it is it as it is, I think you have to sit him.
It will be interesting to see what the Saints due to replace him.
They obviously signed Emmanuel Sanders this offseason.
This could be one of those games where Jared Cup comes out, and he really does even better than usual.
And this could be a game where we've seen track Juan Smith just go off at random points.
The ST This could be one of those games, or Drew Brees keys in on him, and he has another big week.
Sort of be interest.
See what they do.
But it might not be a one week fixed for them, so they might have to get used to it, depending on how he keeps on progressing.
So a ton of value in those other New Orleans pass catchers this week as faras d efs and even in season long fantasy.
Like you, said Jared Cook, you should be able to get him in a decent price tag.
He's probably Prime Thio have a few extra catches this week.
Emmanuel Sanders as well.
I believe you had a touchdown in Week one.
He dropped another one, or Breeze just missed him in the back of the end zone.
Emmanuel Sanders should have the number one coverage, unfortunately, but also the number one opportunities.
Be that number one target and against Las Vegas.
I think Sanders is good enough to beat their top cornerbacks without really having to worry too much.
So both those guys definitely going to find a boost in value as faras fantasy this week.
Elvin Tomorrow, though probably my favorite play of the week.
He obviously Eric.
He, um, absolutely tort up in Week one was just eating, got his yards, got his touchdowns.
The man signed a brand new five year, $100 million plus contract.
I mean, he is in a good spot.
Physically, he's in a good spot mentally the Las Vegas um, run defense is bad.
We saw that against Carolina.
They gave up a lot of yards on the ground, obviously, the Christian McCaffrey.
But Alvin Kamara is on par with Christian McCaffrey.
I think this is gonna be a battle between Josh Jacobs and Alvin Kamara.
I think it's going to be largely played a battle on the ground, and I don't think either breeze or, uh, breeze or car are gonna have monster days through the air.
Um, if if you're taking prop bets on either of those two, I would take the under in air yards, at least at least for Drew Brees this week.
I just think tomorrow is gonna have a massive part.
So you're gonna have to pay for him and Daily Fantasy.
But I believe he is worth it this week.
Um, going back to Michael Thomas as a fantasy owner.
I have him in two of my six leagues, but as a fantasy owner, would you rather have him sit out this week and then have the Saints try and roll him out and just get the most out of the out of him every single week? But never have him fully recover.
Or would you rather have him miss Week 234 However many weeks it takes and then set him up to be fully healthy the rest of the season? I'd rather have a week to set him up.
234 Obviously, if you're the Saints, you're gonna wanna be cautious.
You don't just have playoff aspirations, you're going.
You're trying to go deeper on for fantasy.
You know, if you if you look out at his matchups at playoff time, he's got Atlanta in Week 13 Philly 14 Kansas City 15 Minnesota 16.
There's some matchups that for fantasy owners, you gotta be lifting your job so you can get into the playoffs, so make sure he gets fully healthy.
Ankle injuries are tough, especially for receivers cutting for any player, but especially receivers.
You want to make sure it's recovered because you don't want to be seeing yourself.
What if he was at full strength? Because in the playoffs, the margin of victory comes a lot smaller and you're gonna need your guys to be able to show out, be fully healthy? Yeah, I agree, especially with a lower body injury those air nasty to deal with his wide receiver, especially an ankle.
Um, you need that extra burst.
You need that explosion from the ground to be able to cut, um, in and out of your routes.
I mean, ankles are extremely important.
Ankle and issues for a receiver are just devastating and their legging nagging injuries that can affect you all throughout the season.
And obviously you're totally right from a fantasy standpoint, but also from just a football standpoint from the Saints, I think I'd be willing to risk, um, risk losing or risk my performance early on in the season and have him for that back end of the season when people really start getting back, getting healthy, getting playoff ready.
I would rather have him fully healthy and have him for the games on the back end of the season and sacrifice the games on the front end of the season and try and figure out a way to win without him the other.
The other thing is, if you spend um, a good number of games in the early part of your season, figuring out how to win without Michael Thomas, that means you can have a more developed playbook.
You can have a better strategy for winning games without Onley relying on Michael Thomas without having to have him put up 1600 yards and 100 and 50 catches.
You know you're gonna be able to find other ways to utilize other guys to the best of their abilities.
And then when Michael Thomas comes back, it's like, Oh, good, we were rolling without you.
But now we got you back and weren't even in an even better position.
So I just think across the board, that's the better smarter idea rather than have him take one week off and then see what you can get out of them in Week three, you see what you get out of the week for all of a sudden, we're talking week 8 10 and he's still got this nagging ankle injury.
He's only been putting up 10 or 12 points a week in fantasy.
I mean, that's just frustrating all the way across the board.
Yeah, it's really frustrating.
And for fantasy owners, that's do I start, Um, do I sit him? You hate, put in the first round pick on the bench really tough situation, especially with some of the defense's.
They're playing middle of season, so we'll keep an eye on Michael Thomas as we move forward.
Um, throughout the season.
Of course, you can expect these week to Week three whatever week it is.
The news and injury updates almost every Thursday throughout the NFL season.
So we will be tracking Michael Thomas very closely for you, as I'm sure all of you out there who are playing fantasy are tuned into what Michael Thomas is doing anyhow.
But those air your to doubt Fels for the week, Chris Godwin and Michael Thomas.
And now we move on to guys that will not be on the field no matter what.
Unfortunately, we're gonna start with George slash Greg Kittel.
I don't know how Maney pardon my take fans air out there, but I call him Greg Kittel.
Just I I got in my way now to say, George slash Greg, because so many people look at me like I'm a moron when I say Greg and I don't even realize I'm saying Greg, I'm just so used to it.
But anyway, George slash Greg Kittel out Sunday versus the Jets that really stinks for me because I have already already locked in my San Francisco minus seven with a pretty big bet.
Um, it was made known that Jamison Crowder, uh, is going to be out for the Jets, Of course, Lady on Bell who were going to get to in a minute out for the Jets, everything pointing back to a San Francisco dominating victory.
That was until their number one pass catcher, best tight end in the league George Kittle, now ruled out we saw Kittel take a hit to the knee knee area last week.
He remained on the sideline, and then he went back to the locker room.
Then he came back out to the sideline, not sure if he went back on the field or not.
But now, just today, the 40 Niners announced that George Kittle will be taking the week off.
This might be more of a precautionary thing, seeing us how they are playing the Jets.
I also have a theory to, um, good teams.
Good teams bounced back.
A good teams typically bounced back after a bad loss.
Good teams against a bad team in a bounce back week.
That's I mean, that's the best thing you can ask for.
They obviously didn't play horrible against the the Cardinals.
The Cardinals looked really good.
Um, but they still lost and they were expecting Come out, win that game.
I think the 40 Niners overall have a bounce back game, and it's against a really bad team in the Jets.
Which is why I so confidently locked in San Francisco minus seven, really wish I would have.
I would have known about Kittel beforehand.
I'm still riding with it, obviously, because the best locked in um just sucks that kettle is out this week.
What do you What do you think this means for the 40 Niners? Do you think it's more precautionary? Or do you think this might be something that lingers for George Cadle as well? It's tough to tell because Kittel is one of those guys where if he gets injured, he wants to go back out there.
He could have dislocated Thank you.
We'll jam it back in place.
Go back out there.
Overall, I would say it's a little more precautionary.
Unfortunately for San Francisco Deebo, Samuel is also gonna be out.
We kind of knew that, though.
But they do have Brandon IAC IAC.
However you want to pronounce it, he will be back.
Um, Jordan Reed will be there, too.
If you don't have somebody concussions, he would be one heck of a tight end.
So they have options.
Obviously, Kittel is one of a kind.
Um but they won't be going out there with nothing.
And they do need something because their receivers were very bad last week, But, um, the man or who you got playing a wider senses Jets secondary should not be too tough of a task to be ableto get enough toe, win that game and get Garoppolo smoking guys.
They're probably gonna lean heavily on their run game.
Moster looked good last week.
Jerick McKinnon was heavily involved.
The good thing for San Francisco in San Francisco fans is that they have such a solid running back corps.
They got two or three guys that can get it done.
They got a good offensive line.
They don't have to on Lee.
Rely on their receivers, of course.
Having Deebo Samuel who? I think it's slightly overrated, but, you know, he's still they're still one of the top targets having him on the field as well as Kittel makes a huge, you know, a massive difference.
But I think the Jets are bad enough that Kyle Shanahan is gonna be able to figure something out.
They're gonna be able to establish the run game.
Um, I still think they're gonna be able to cover the spread, because just because of how bad the Jets are I don't think the Jets are really gonna be able to score all too much again, Lady Annabelle being out who were going to touch on next.
One thing, though.
In addition, Thio, George Kittel and Deebo Samuel Samuel being out is Richard Sherman is out.
He was placed on IR.
Of course, I r not as daunting as a key word or the phrase put on IR has been in previous years.
I are used to mean, I believe, 6 to 8 weeks now, I think you can get off after three.
But either way, Richard Sherman on IR.
Uh, just not the way you want to start off your season.
If you're San Francisco.
Yeah, and I mean DeAndre Hopkins.
He's one heck of a talent, but you can't let him go off like that.
Kyler Murray had his way, no matter what.
They did not look like the San Francisco team from before.
Um, whether that's because of the injuries, whether that's because of a little bit of a hangover, we'll see.
But I'm interested to see even in a game that they should win.
How they perform, uh, teams.
Usually, you know, they start off slow teams like 40 Niners that air good that are better than this.
They have a chip on their shoulders.
They'll be playing hard against New York Jets. Don't get it twisted.
They're not gonna be taken Amisi.
So I think this will be a good week for those secondary options to prove themselves.
Hopefully show that they are less one dimensional than they are, as in, you know, pass catching options.
So I think we'll see one or two players come Toe Light is a perfect rookie breakout opportunity for IAC, but we still have yet to see it on the field.
Yeah, I'm looking forward to watching I. You play, too.
Obviously, this whole wide receiver class highly touted a bunch of guys drafted in early rounds.
We saw, unfortunately, a bunch of injuries to these guys in week one between Henry Rugs got a little beat up mist sometime during week one.
Ah Yuk was not on the field at all.
Judy was just kind of swamped all night because Courtland Sutton was not out there.
And then, of course, Tee Higgins kind of just hey, made some catches on Thursday night as well, but kind of just lost in the mix amongst that array of Bengals wide receiver talent.
So, um, I uke with a perfect opportunity and see the lamb, Of course, CD Lamb had a nice night as well.
Can't forget about him.
But I uke with an opportunity here to really be the first one of that rookie group to make a breakout toe.
Have a huge game, would be cool to see him go off for, like, 100 yards and a tutti or something like that.
I think he's gonna have to.
He's gonna have to perform one way or the other.
The Niners just don't have enough playmakers and don't have enough pass catchers right now for him to just go under the radar.
You touched on Jordan Reed as well.
It's funny you know it's sad because, you know, concussions are what took took his prominence away.
But this is a guy who was draft being drafted above Travis Kelsey, um above, you know, other really good tight ends in fantasy just a couple of years ago.
Wasn't it? Was like a second round guy.
Just unfortunate to see a talent like that just diminished so heavily.
I mean it for the Redskins, too.
I'm sure you put him on on a better team.
He could have done even better, had some quarterback troubles their asses well, but nice to see him back.
Hopefully, he can stay on the field, get show us what he's got left.
Yeah, and obviously might he might not be running over.
He was a big physical tight end at one point.
Might not be running over too many people anymore, but he's always been a good pass catcher.
And if Kyle Shanahan can figure out the best way to use him and assist in the system, I think San Francisco is a really good spot for him to maybe try and rejuvenate his career, or at least see what he could get out of whatever he's got left.
Um, already talked.
Ah, lot about Levian Bell.
We know he's on IR.
We knew that early on in the week.
Just everything going wrong for the Jets this week and really in the coming weeks? Um, not a good loss.
Now you lose lobby in Bell.
A guy who you got a question How much he even wants to be there at this point.
His is 10 year with with New York has just been a whole lot of ups and downs.
A whole lot of lacking team effort.
Ah, lot of lacking team continuity.
Now, of course, you know Jamal Adams traded away before the season.
All this stuff and leave Ian Bell gets hurt in week one.
Uh, everything is going wrong for the Jets here.
Yeah, and Adam Case, I I don't know if he's gonna make it through the season.
They got San Francisco, Indianapolis, Denver.
They got some nice games in there.
But this team, they play the F C West and they play the NFC West along with with their with their division rivals in the a f c East boy.
It z not going to get better, it's just going to get worse.
Um, New England is improving buffaloes, improving Miami against New York.
I take them a swell.
Don't see Adam Gay skinning out of this, I think at the end of the year and throughout the where we wonder what would have happened if l had stayed in Pittsburgh.
I think we might see a quarterback change, too, because it was just weak one.
But Sam Donald looks looked absolutely horrible out there.
I don't know where to start a few New York, and now you have Crowder out and bell out.
This could get ugly real quick, even with a injured San Francisco team all really great points.
I mean, Adam gazes just I mean, everywhere he goes, it gets worse.
And then when he leaves, it gets better.
And that can't just be a trend.
They're like, you know, a by happenstance.
That's obviously a trend that has followed him his quarterbacks.
He is labeled as one of those quarterback guys.
A quarterback whisper a bunch of years ago just has not been able to develop anybody, has not had really solid uh, you know, a solid quarterback under his head coaching tenure until Sam Donald.
And now it's year.
What, three of Sam Donald.
There isn't four already, at least at least year three, and we've seen very much of the same.
You know, the interceptions might be a little bit a little bit less than when he came in, but we kind of saw the same skill set, the same kind of guy that we've seen since his rookie year.
Sam Donald has not really improved all that much.
Maybe he has, in his mental abilities, reading the defense, being prepared, things like that.
But as Faras performance on the field as faras limiting the stupid turnovers, um, making beautiful passes, we haven't really seen all that much improvement out of Sam.
Donald, How much do you put on him? How much do you put on gays? How much do you put on the Jets organization as a whole? You know, I don't really know.
I think Sam Donald has a future as an NFL quarterback.
I don't think it's with the Jets.
I think he's got to get out of there.
I think he needs a fresh restart.
A fresh, you know, restart somewhere else.
Just kind of maybe even take a year year off as a backup as a learning opportunity.
Not not exactly what Jamis Winston is doing right now.
But maybe, you know, you go to a situation who with a place in a year or two, you might be the guy so kind of kind of like a James Winston, I guess.
But I just think Sam Donald still needs that.
He was so highly touted and people believed in him in him so much that I don't think he's had time to really, truly improve.
I think he's been thrown to the wolves.
It's a tough week every single week, and he's just supposed to get better through trial by fire instead of somebody allowing him the time to actually develop, allowing him the time to actually get better.
I just don't think that happens, Um, under the New York Jets umbrella, Honestly, if you're giving me one quarterback out of that whole draft class right now, I know a lot of people would still roll with Sam Donald.
But I'll take Josh Allen.
I mean, I will take Josh Allen nine times out of 10 maybe 10 out of 10 over Sam Donald because he might have, Ah, few really bad miss passes once in a while as far as accuracy.
But, I mean, that guy balls out.
He never complains he could take contact.
Sure, he had some stupid fumbles in Week one.
But I mean that maybe just Week one jitters, they're trying to do too much.
He's already performed well in the playoffs.
He's taken a team who, obviously they don't have Thio compete with the Tom Brady Patriots anymore.
But he's taking a team who has been kind of a joke within that division for 20 years.
And he made them division champs in his second year.
Their favorites now toe win this year.
I mean, everything's everything's trending up for Josh Allen and the exact opposite of what? I see.
How Sam Donald Josh gets better every year.
His numbers get better, his completions get better, is accuracy gets better.
He's just turning into a winner and a guy that I really want on my team right now, I can't say that same thing about Sam Donald.
Yeah, and I think credit where it's due to McDermott in the coaching staff in Buffalo because neither him nor Donald really had a guy toe look up to or learn from a lot of rookie quarterbacks.
They at least even if they're starting off the bat, they have.
They have a veteran there in some capacity.
Both these guys were really thrown into the fire.
And Alan, you look at him and say at the very worst, he's a serviceable quarterback at the very worst and it's looking up like you said, with Donald at the worst, you're questioning what your question, what to Dio and something's got to give again.
I don't know, um, Donald might not be the problem and I would give him more time.
But something's got to give for sure in that New York that's front office or on the field.
Yeah, it's definitely not all Donald, but I mean, he's not like that.
He had that one play where he you know he got away from two or three attempted sacks, but then he just chucked it up to the middle of field and it's like, you know, it's good on you that you that you got away from the sacks you rolled out of the pocket, throw that ball away though you know your team's not good enough.
Your defense sucks.
You can't just turn the ball over in the middle of the field like that s o obviously, uh ah, lot of improvement.
Needs to be made by Sam Donald.
But that's why I said, I think he's got a career, a future in a career somewhere else.
I just don't think it's gonna work with the Jets.
I think it's gonna be basically four years of kind of floundering and not really improving much at all.
Um, this is a This is a very drastic comparison.
But look, a Drew Brees.
When he played out in San Diego, he kind of he was good and people had high hopes from coming in, but he kind of floundered.
He didn't really get that much better until he went to a new organization with a new coach.
Was provided new opportunities on kind of a restart in his career.
And now look, he owns his number one and almost every single category.
He won a Super Bowl.
Um, has been on all these phenomenal teams.
I think Sam Donald could end up in that same kind of boat where he just needs to get elsewhere.
Kind of hit the reset button.
And then maybe his career from 25 years old on 25 26 on is gonna be a lot better than his career from 22 to 25.
I mean, he's just like I said, he's already in the third year of his kind of his of his rookie deal.
I don't know for the life of me why he would go back to New York unless they offered him, you know, $500 million.
I think he's on the trajectory to find himself.
Is the starting quarterback of another franchise within, You know, probably as soon as his rookie year runs out.
If the Jets don't sort something out soon, they could be the next Browns because they got problems across the board.
If this becomes this becomes a repetition type thing where they keep doing this, you're not going to get free agents.
Nobody's going to want to be drafted by you.
Jets got to figure this out quickly.
Yes, they do, especially like you said, with, you know, the division improving around them.
Miami should be.
They got a young head coaching young quarterback.
They should be good to go for the next bunch of years.
You do not want to be hitting that reset button again, as the Jets were gonna be at the bottom of that division for a long, long time to come, if that is indeed the case.
So we'll see what the Jets you can come up with in Week two with a tough matchup against the San Francisco 40 Niners.
Just under an hour here.
So we kind of time this perfectly as we move into our final guy talking a little bit about Kenny Golladay, of course.
Uh, one of the topics at the wide receiver position for fantasy, one of the best wide receivers in the league.
Um, obviously the best and number one option for the Lions.
He is out for the second week in a role that leaves just basically Jones as an option for Marvin Jones as an option for Matthew Stafford and the Lions.
I've never really liked Jones, especially as the number one option hey plays much better in a number two type role.
Kenny Golladay being out against the Packers who just went out and dismantle until the Vikings defense just absolutely took it to him.
Almost dropped the 50 burger.
Things are not looking good for the Lions and for the Lions, often specifically in Week two.
Jari Alexander, now going to get the cover of Marvin Jones.
Lions might struggle here.
What do you make of Kenny Golladay being out for the second straight week? And how long do you think this lasts? I think this could last another week, possibly.
And if the Lions have another showing and if they have another beat down, which I think should happen, unfortunately for them, you gotta press the panic button again.
And it's not Stafford.
Um, I agree with your point about Marvin Jones as a wide receiver one.
He was just not there.
He was non existent.
And look, the Bears have a good defense.
But, I mean, you got to make a statement somehow.
The guy who impressed me, and I think the guy who will be really interesting to see this week is Quintet's Cephus, Um, rookie out of Wisconsin, You only had three receptions for 43 yards, but he had 10 targets and J.
Alexander on on Marvin Jones Jr That should open up some opportunities forum and to see that kind of confidence in Stafford.
Um, in a rookie wide out week one, I'd have to think he has a decent showing.
I don't think he should be anywhere near wide receiver 12 maybe if you're really desperate, but three or a flex, Um, but if Cephus keeps going like this and Marvin Jones keep being underwhelming, this could be a situation of monitor with.
Maybe Jones falls out of favor.
Maybe Cephus becomes the number two option in Detroit.
I think that's entirely possible, obviously a zoo, said Matthew.
Staffer wants to go toe quinces.
Cephus, um, trusts him already.
And you said he only had three receptions, but Marvin Jones only had four receptions.
Of course, it was for 55 yards, but I think he had 11 big chunk play there towards the end of the game.
And again, the Lions didn't look horrible like they didn't look dominating, but they didn't look horrible until that fourth quarter.
The offense didn't move the ball at all in the fourth quarter, and their defense just completely fell apart.
I don't know how you hold the team to six points or 13 points or whatever up till the fourth quarter.
And then I think it was only six points, and then you allow three touchdowns.
You know, back to back to back like that.
Um, just overall on ugly performance on Lee, the third team, and, like, 190 something opportunities to blow a 17 point fourth quarter lead.
I mean, the lions desperately need a bounce back game this week, and they're just not going to get it.
I mean, I think three cornerbacks at last count that aren't gonna be planned for them.
Aaron Rodgers, Davante Adams.
They've got to be looking their chops right now.
I mean, I'm really high.
Not just because I'm a Packer fan.
I think this might be one of the most sure survivor bets of the week.
Um, lions are always good.
Stafford will always give you good stats, but without Golladay, who usually beats the Packers up a decent amount without some of that, those defensive players that they already desperately need.
It's not looking good for the lines a week to and Stafford did.
18 points in fantasy.
Last week, he threw an interception only one touchdown pass.
But that was because Adrian Peterson was able to get going down.
Dre Swift probably should have had another touchdown catch there at the end of the game.
Excuse me, but I mean, if Matthew Stafford, we only had that much success, Uh, knowing that gala day wasn't gonna be there, you know it was Week one and stuff, but if he only had 16 points worth of success in Week one against the Bears, I don't see him coming out and putting up maybe more than 20 points in fantasy against the Packers.
I think the Packers defense will keep the foot on the gas this entire entire game because the lines offense is not as good as the Vikings offense, but also, they were kind of just playing preventative defense last year.
Last week against the Vikings, they gave up a lot of yards, especially the current cousins through like the second half of the third quarter and the fourth quarter.
But again, that's because their offense was rolling and they were just trying to play preventative defense and not let now let anything to terrible happen.
Or let the, I guess, let the Vikings offense get rolling.
You would have liked to see them get to make some stops, you know, maybe keep them toe like below 30 points.
I think we see that this week, though.
Out of against the Lions out of the Packers defense, Um, I just don't think they're going to play off the ball quite as much.
I don't think they're gonna be quite is loose with their pressure.
And as you mentioned three cornerbacks out for the lion's, I think there's gonna be scoring opportunities all over the place for the Packers.
I believe this is a 6.
5 points spread.
I'm all over that in favor of the Packers.
And and as long as their defense can play the same way that they played for most of the first half last week before they started playing that prevent defense, I think it's going to be a a tough sledding type week for the Lions across the board.
Um, we talked a little bit in previous streams about Adrian Peterson and DeAndre Swift.
I've said already go ahead, cut carry on Johnson.
I don't think he plays a very big part in this offense at all the remainder of the year, especially not somebody who is worthy of holding onto in fantasy.
So if you're looking for an open roster spot, go ahead. Cut.
Carry on. Johnson.
I think the running backs might be able to run on the Packers decently.
They might get their yards, but without Matthew Stafford, Marvin Jones and Quintas Cephas Quintus Cephus going off.
Those couple of running backs, including the aging Adrian Peterson, are not gonna be enough to keep up with this Packers offense.
Well, and, I mean, they did a pretty good job in Del Uncooked last week and Adrian Peterson D'Andre.
So if they're not Dalvin, Cook and to your point of cutting carry on Johnson, even if he does play a role, he has not shown at all any ability to stay on the field.
He has too much concerns, durability wise.
And as you said with foot on the gas defensively, this could be a real big statement game for the Packers because they have New Orleans, Atlanta, Tampa Bay, Houston, San Francisco, all coming up before week 10.
So I don't think they'll be playing as looses before they want to shore.
Something's up before they play those NFC South games.
Yeah, I totally agree.
And this is a week Thio.
Just go out there, build up confidence rack up those turnovers really, really get things going as you move on into the tougher portion of this front end of the schedule, um, Packers with 8.
5 total win win total this season.
I thought that was extremely disrespectful.
Made no sense to me a team that goes 13 and three last year.
You're telling me that, uh, in order to cash in under bed, they have to lose six additional games like that's just crazy to me.
Uh, they're gonna be too.
And, oh, after this week, I'm already gonna be 25% of the way.
Thio cashing my nice fat bet that I placed on the over.
I just I don't think the Packers have any sort of worries this week.
It's gonna be tough for the Lions moving forward without gala day, no matter who they're playing.
But I think the packers take this one with ease this week.
I agree and, you know, going back toe Michael Thomas.
You know he's Packers.
We'll see if the Saints do go that conservative approach or if they say we want to win this game.
We want to show people what we're all about in a prime time.
Well, almost primetime Sunday game, and I'm glad you brought that up.
That will weigh huge.
I mean, if Jari Alexander doesn't have to think about Michael Thomas, if he can cover Sanders and whoever else I mean, that evens the playing field tremendously, that gives the Packers a much better shot at turnovers and winning the game against the Saints team.
Who again the Saints have.
There's no guarantee they're going to come out and rolled.
Actually, probably will have more of a struggle this week on their offense, looking to get fully healthy against the Packers in that Week three matchup as well.
Obviously, I want Michael Thomas on the field for fantasy reasons and because I like watching them play.
He's a fantastic wide receiver, but as a Packers fan and somebody that would love with the backers started the season three, you know I wouldn't mind him wait until week forward to get back out there, either.
So I believe that is all we've got for you tonight.
I'll just run it right back through.
The doubtful is this week we're playing this week is Miles Sanders, Chris Godwin and Michael Thomas, both doubtful.
So keep your eye out for official rulings on them.
George, George Kittle, Richard Sherman Leave Ian Bell and Kenny Golladay all big names that will not be seeing the field in week number two if you have anybody.
Any other questions? Fantasy questions in general hit us up on Twitter.
You can find the flurry Twitter right here at Fleury Sports.
I'm at Sun Holes on Sport.
You'll probably see me all over Twitter.
Aziz, I'm quite active on Twitter.
You can get a hold of Trevor at Trevor Land.
Um, I will be back with Henry tomorrow at Hank.
Time sports we will be touching on every single game on DMA.
Might have a third joining us as well.
I don't know what you got going on tomorrow night, Trevor, but if you wanna hop in at any point, it's going to be just a brief touching on every game we usually talk about.
What we like is faras the spread, maybe an over under bet.
We're going to narrow it down, though, because I will be in Colorado tomorrow night.
So I'm gonna be, uh I'm gonna be busy with some friends.
I know Henry's got some stuff going on, too, so we'll probably just highlight a few games.
So make sure this week it's most important this week, more so than others.
If you have a specific game, you want us to talk about a specific question on a spread or something, make sure you tweet at us or make sure you join us live.
Put it in the comments section, and we will make sure and touch on that game.
Otherwise, we'll probably just touch on a few noon games and then all of the primetime games tomorrow.
I believe that stream is going to be between four.
Central just depends when I get settled in and everything like that.
Um so yeah, catch us tomorrow night right here on SportsCastr Trevor.
Any last thoughts before we sign off here? Go packers? I don't know nothing else.
I want to see a good game here from Aaron Rodgers and Davante again.
Yeah, man, it zit just gave me, like 10 4011 type Fields went and Rogers making that that, like four or five step drop back and then just pin in one right to the corner of the end zone.
I love it, too, and receivers catch the ball right on the goal line and then just fall directly into the end zone like it's It's just so pretty.
And it made me miss those old times with the Packers, but also kind of gave me feelings of, like, remember when we had, you know, Greg Jennings, Jermichael Finley, Donald Driver, Jordy Nelson just options all over the field.
And I'm starting to get kind of that feels that feeling from, you know, MVS and Alma's art and all those guys.
Um, obviously, they've got quite a bit Thio.
Quite a ways to go toe live up to the names of Jordy Nelson, Greg Jennings and Donald Driver.
But I'm getting that kind of that type of vibe, that kind of feel, and it's a good time to be a Packers fan right now.
Thank you for tuning in, uh, tonight or watching the replay of this stream hit us up on Twitter and check out our betting stream tomorrow night with me, Hank and possibly Trevor's.
Some possibly somebody else.
We will talk to you then.
