I'm Matt Williamson with yard barker here to talk about the Patriots going across country to play the Seahawks in Seattle.
And the obvious thought is this is a former Super Bowl matchup.
But what's changed since then, especially if the Patriots quarterback position, obviously and weak one showed us that they've changed their offense around Cam Newton a great deal, but also showed us that they play slow and run the ball a ton shortened games.
But we'll Seattle fall back into that trap.
I mean, that's what they've been doing for years.
Or will they air it out a lot more against New England's really good secondary? I mean, Seattle through a ton with great success in Atlanta on week one, but they weren't a lot of deep shots.
I mean, it was a little bit more of a controlled passing game, which is different for you know, their passing game, and obviously they're run past ratio.
I think we're gonna cease to find Gilmore, the reigning defensive M v p against D. K.
Metcalf, and obviously, Metcalf's very physically imposing.
But that's a really tough matchup for a second year wide receiver that doesn't run a real diverse route tree.
Still, Russell Wilson's an elite elite player and should find more to his liking and should have time to throw.
I don't think that the past restaurant doing little get home with Wilson, especially with his legs and ability to buy time.
Speaking of Pass Rush, Seattle's lack of pass rush and they don't have pass rushers really isn't that big of a deal in this matchup.
And expect Jamal Adams to really have a big day verse Cam Newton in all phases and near the line of scrimmage.
Um, the Seattle back seven to me is really, really good, but the Patriots weapons really aren't so.
I think you'll keep bringing those guys closer to the line of scrimmage.
People like that that I mentioned because the Patriots were just lacking weapons.
So I think they're gonna confined those lanes and get a lot of bodies near the line of scrimmage and force Newton to try to go over the top.
And I don't know that his receivers could do that.
I think Seattle's clearly the better team, and he mentions a cross country road trip.
I like Seattle in this 1 28 20 something along those lines.
I think Wilson has a nice day, but going, Tonto, going toe one and one really doesn't kill either one of these teams.
But I think she had will be, too.
And oh, it's all said and done.
I am Matt Williamson with your birth.
