in office again.
Only like a week late already.
Okay, let's treat this out on bond.
Get the show on the road.
All right, So those who are joining late, those who are re watching the stream welcome going to break down some of the top ads of the way may give some drug candidates.
But essentially, at this point in the season, anyone who's not reducing for you that you drafted later in the draft, you could probably drop.
It's not too big of a deal.
Hang on to the guys you have invested in now.
Good slate of games.
I would say a couple interesting Monday night games that we're both frustrating from betting perspective and great.
But I think we should just jump right into the ad drops.
With me is Tanner and Luke.
First time this trio is on here.
Uh, this could be a could be a re occurring one.
But how's it going, guys? Going good fun to watch some week.
One of football? Yeah.
Finally, happy football is back right after that.
First, Thursday night came I'm like, Okay, so now I gotta wait a little bit longer because this is bull****.
But yeah, Sunday was plenty.
And then I re watched, like four of the games today, like condensed versions were rewatched that Dolphins Patriots? One specifically.
If you guys want a link toe, watch that and, like, a half hour or so, that's an interesting one to watch.
I think that's an important game for fantasy specifically, but let's just jump right into quarterbacks here that could get picked up.
Some nail this video, the one who's, you know, sweeping the nation.
Everyone knows his name by this point. Gardner Minshew.
I only had one incompletion on the game, so 95% completion percentage, no big deal.
Finished as quarterback.
Owned in just under 15% of ESPN leagues.
He plays the Titans next week.
Titans obviously have a short week.
Are you guys rushing to pick up Gardner Minshew? Or what's your thoughts on that? Was it legit? Okay, I could jump in on this one.
I think it was legit.
Gardner is somebody on Twitter that I released like my my my guys for the season, and he was my guy for the quarterback position.
I think what he did last year coming in a zoo.
Unexpected starter being drafted in the sixth round and just to produce Mary and a lot of really important quarterback statistics, came out the season with six wins.
Kyler Murray didn't even get there, and he had the full offseason of working as the starter this year, which he didn't get last year.
And I feel like that showed in Week one with the 95% completion percentage and his weapons air kind of sneaky good and lo viscous Channel Cotton touchdown pass in the game.
He also had some rushes.
Um, he's somebody that I love going forward, and he's all He's one of the guys on my quarterback stream or article that will come out tomorrow.
Yeah, I'm with you on that.
The thing is, with government or two I have is they virtually have no running game there.
I mean, nobody trust any of their backs and you know, I can't see.
The defense is great either, so they might find themselves down than games, which means a lot more Gardner Minshew action, whether it be throwing the ball deep or, you know, taking those 56 years runs a couple times to drive, have an awesome fantasy season.
So I think Gardner Minshew is legit.
I don't think this Jaguar's team is by any means legit.
I think they could lose honestly the next 15 games.
I think it's very possible.
I think they've got their 11 out of the way.
It's tank now, But yeah, I saw everything I needed to see out of Menchu.
The only thing that's slightly concerning is 20 passes only I think that would pick up if they're down mourn.
You know it is what it is.
He's not going to be 95% completion guy, but you'll be fine.
You will be a okay.
This next one, though, is a little bit more polarizing that I have on my list.
The number two quarterback to go pick up Mitchell Robiskie, owned in less than 3% of ESPN leagues place the Giants this week.
First half of the game against Detroit last week was shaky, to say the very least, not very good Bears trailing strong second half leads them back.
There's get a win.
He was Cube eight on the week.
Is Mitchell Robiskie legit? Luke are you picking him up? I am not picking it up.
And maybe that's just a Green Bay Packer fan in me.
But, I mean, one week is not gonna do it for me, For Mitchell Robiskie.
I've seen him play, and I'm also in North Carolina fan.
So I watch him college where he was good.
So I had high hopes for him coming in.
But the last I mean, I've seen him play in person.
I've seen playing TV.
It just doesn't look good to me.
I think this might be just a fluke game that happens out of him.
I mean, he's still miss passes in that game.
I know that one that was circulating on Twitter.
I don't think it's Anthony Miller.
Run over the middle just through straight behind him.
Wasn't even close to him.
No pressure at all.
But, I mean, there is some value.
Their committee whiskey does like to run the ball a little bit, so I mean, maybe if you definitely need a quarterback.
Yes, but otherwise I'd say Stay away.
I'm definitely with Luke on this one.
I've seen him play enough and I think definitely was probably a fluke.
and I just wouldn't trust him in my lineup.
Um, it doesn't help here that Al Robinson doesn't seem to be happy there right now.
Robinson is gone, I don't think Drabinsky's even a streamer candidate.
I mean, let's say somehow I got somebody else to join their team, but that's rough.
But Robiskie Yeah, I mean, I talked him up all last week saying he's awesome against the Lions.
He averaged 271 yards before last game against Detroit, so I don't know what is that now.
But Detroit's an easy defense to read.
If travesty knows what the Reed is going to be and who is going to throw the ball to, I think he's good.
That's not going to be the case the majority of the rest of the season.
And on top of it, he had the most time to throw out of any quarterback last week.
So if you get pressure on because I have tons of lines, knock it E.
Know how Detroit got zero pressure, but congratulations, Matt Patricia, you guys have any other notes about quarterbacks that you would like to bring up? Yeah, I really like Ryan Tannehill.
I mean, last year he was the quarterback to and fantasy only behind Lamar.
Once he took over the starting job.
And Denver's defense looked really solid last night and he still went out there and he had 249 yards and two touchdowns.
And it's just on offense that I really believe it.
And I really like.
And he gets to play Jacksonville next week who a lot of people project toe, have the worst defense in the league for 2020.
And you were saying how bad the defense was earlier? Um, I don't see how the Titans don't move a whole move the ball a whole lot in that game.
The only issue I would say is if Derrick Henry just soaks up all the fantasy points like he's done in the past against the Jaguars.
Yeah, yeah, that makes sense to me.
I did have a question for you guys.
So you obviously you guys watch the game last night.
You know that play towards end of the game where they threw a fade, wrote to a J.
Brown, Was that overthrown, or did a J.
Brown just miss it it looked like a little bit of both because I would put that more on ground in Tannehill.
Yeah, I was getting a little bit of both.
So I mean, if Tannehill can make those throws, then yeah, I'm all for him.
But you know, those precise throws or what's going to separate him from, You know, other streaming options on to your point.
Tannehill is I think he's a good quarterback.
Actually, I just don't think the system is going to generate a lot of fantasy production similar to what Green Bay was last year.
Rogers definitely wasn't on the top of his game, but the system, especially me, and have a terrible fantasy quarterback.
But Tannehill owned and almost 70% of ESPN leagues, so he's probably out there a few.
We're trusting someone who stunk it up, I guess.
A lot of good quarterback performances his last week, though.
Yeah, this week, playing arguably the worst run defense in the league, maybe second worst to Carolina, I would guess this is a 200 yard potential game for Derrick Henry, so I'm probably not going to rank.
Pana held too high, but at the same time e.
Don't think he's going to be terrible.
Um, let's head to running backs.
I have quite a bit of feelings about some of these running backs and one running back then no one is talking about.
But first we'll start with the man, Malcolm Brown, I guess, for the Rams, this one seemed very predictable to me.
But everyone's kind of freaking out about it.
Running back 52 touchdowns.
That was the thing that drove his production up.
But you know, it's a committee with Akers, who's the rookie Brown.
And then Henderson, who has done nothing in the NFL to this point, still has done nothing in the NFL.
So heading into the game, Malcolm Brown, the only person who has done absolutely anything as a pro who stole goal line touches last season from Todd Gurley, did the same things This time.
If you think the Rams are going to be winning a game, I think Malcolm Brown is the guy.
If you think the Rams were going to be trailing, I would assume Acres is the guy.
That's how I see this backfield shake out.
But no matter what he's owned in less than 10% of ESPN leagues, so he is clearly a top ad candidate this week.
What's your thoughts on? Nothing. Brown.
And I guess the rest of this back field as a whole do you value one more than the other, starting with Tanner.
Yeah, so I kind of see Cam Acres is a guy that could really explode towards the second half of the season.
But like you said, Malcolm Brown is.
Was the established peace going into the year and I think in week one that showed and he had a great week, and I think that will probably continue in the week to I would expect him to get the majority of the carries over acres, and they play the Washington football team next week.
Who? I'm sorry they play the Eagles next week who just gave up 27 points to the Washington football team.
And I think that the Rams will probably be ahead in this game, and I think that's a good game script for Malcolm Brown and I think you could definitely throw him into your lineup.
But as Faras upside goes, I love having cam makers on my team right now, and seeing what he's gonna end up doing in a few weeks from now.
Yeah, I'm really interested in cam makers to because I feel like the Sean McVeigh offense is not one that you get instantly, you know? So I'm thinking that's why Malcolm Brown is getting a little more time right now, as can makers develops more into maybe what they think what they want or what they had.
And Todd Gurley, you know.
But Malcolm Brown is, I think, going to get the majority that carries right now.
That's what I saw at least, uh, Sunday night against Dallas, whose defense isn't bad.
I guess they had some injuries, But I mean, I think right now you stick with Malcolm Brown over.
I knew the other running backs.
Do you think Henderson needs to be owned? No, I wouldn't know him.
I'd rather because I feel like you said before he hasn't done anything in the league.
I don't see a reason to own him other than a handcuff.
But there's two running backs there already.
Is it? If someone goes down, is Henderson gonna be the guy? I wouldn't think so, you know.
No, I'm not Andersen Henderson at all.
I think I just don't think the Rams really like him as an organization right now.
And I think it showed with the cam maker selection in second round, 100% agree.
And yeah, to me, drop him for absolutely anybody.
That's just my opinion.
I don't think he's that great.
Let's talk about Naim Heinz.
This is, I would say, most of the industry's top pick up off the week owned in only 34% of ESPN leagues, plays Minnesota this week was running back for last week.
Obviously, Marlon Mack went down for the year with a torrent Achilles kinds of clearly the main beneficiary last game.
I guess I'll share my thoughts on this afterwards.
But, uh, Luke, are you making Heinz your top priority ad this week or No, I don't think so, and maybe that's because I have Jonathan Taylor in a bunch of leagues, but I wonder if Marlon Mack going down paves the way for Jonathan Taylor. Almost.
You know, I think that, um, they were set on establishing with Marlon Mack and seeing what Jonathan Taylor could do after, but now I think they're gonna go.
Jonathan Taylor's way and maybe even use.
Hines is a decoy after the great first week.
I do think this page does pave the way for Jonathan Taylor, and if you drafted Jonathan Taylor, then congratulations is gonna be great for the rest of the year.
I do really like Heinz as a pickup, though.
Um, I just think he's a really good football player and the Colts old line is really solid, and they're going to run the ball in.
Philip Rivers loves to check down.
There is running back.
And I mean, you saw that with Austin, eh? Cooler like Darren Sproles, Danny Woodhead all in the past.
And I think that especially in PPR leagues, there's gonna be a decent baseline there on like, a week to week basis.
And if he gets in the end zone, then he's going to deliver you a nice week.
That's fair, and I think he is a really talented player.
I just know in a perfect world, the Colts wouldn't change Hinds role at all if they can pick somebody up to fill Max production and still, you know, sort of balanced with Jonathan Taylor and keep Heinz as the change of pace guy.
That's what they want to dio.
If you think Hinds is going to be the Bell cow like I've seen some fantasy ****ysts say Big time fantasy ****ysts say, I think you're in for a rude awakening, and I think Heinz would be in for a rude awakening to because he would get hurt immediately.
But okay, I think Hines is going to have a really, really good week, too, because he plays Minnesota.
They're not gonna run against Minnesota.
I think Philip Rivers has a potential to throw 50 times this week.
That's just how you beat Minnesota.
So I think Hinds, you know in that game script is going to really benefit.
But overall again, much like I said with Malcolm Brown camp makers, if the culture trailing, that's when Hines is going to go off.
If they're playing with the lead, Jonathan tailor or whoever they bring in next is going to go off.
So this week, obviously tough defensive front from Minnesota, who has zero cornerbacks and their linebackers even a little bit banged up, think Hinds is a good ad.
I think he's gonna have a good spot, but I don't see the need to make him a top priority guy.
I wanna talk about this player because I feel like nobody is talking about him, and it kind of blows my mind.
Myles Gaskin in Miami, owned in 0.
1% of leagues last week, didn't blow the roof off for anything.
40 rushing yards, four receptions for 26 yards against the Patriots.
But this snap breakdown is ridiculous.
So Jordan Howard, everyone thought, would be the lead back.
He played nine snaps in the game, not hurt, so that's 14.5%.
Burrito played 14 snaps.
Gaskin played 39 snaps, and that started in the first quarter when the score was tied.
So it wasn't games Group's specific.
He was lining up all over nine.
Russia's ran 23 routes.
They're going to use him this week.
They play Buffalo.
I don't think it's a good matchup by any means, but they're not gonna run Jordan Howard ahead to get a two yard loss every time they're going to try to get it to the edge with asking.
So I think he needs to be picked up.
Uh, have you guys heard more about him than me, I guess.
Or are you giving him a look in your leagues? Will do.
What excites me about that is that 23 routes run you just brought up at the Bills.
Matchup isn't good.
That just leads to throw in the running backs instead of running with running backs.
You know, So I don't know much about asking.
I don't know much about Miami offense.
I can't say that there are any of the players on the top of my radar, but it's worth a look, especially for the 23.
Roath ran against a going up against this week against the great Bills defense.
You know, you gotta imagine that deep passes are gonna be open.
The middle may be open, but the checkdown is always gonna be open.
Yeah, this was something that I think surprised everybody.
He who was a name that I haven't even heard of until week one.
And like for him to come out and then out touch Brita and Howard.
But I think this is just a backfield that I'm just keeping my hands off of, Um and maybe he proved me wrong later, but as of right now, I don't really want anything to do with the Dolphins backfield.
That's completely fair.
I think what does hold him back is I don't see very much touchdown upside with him, but you're talking to PPR Flex.
I would honestly probably rank him right along near Hinds every single week in a typical week and everyone's rushing behinds and gas and will probably after waivers run B maybe 20% owned.
I don't think he's going to go higher than that.
I think he's still going to be available.
So definitely deeper leagues.
I think you need to give him look.
Two other running backs I have here.
James Robinson for Jacksonville was the every down guy owned in less than 30% of leagues.
Has a tough matchup with Tennessee this week, but 16 carries 62 yards, 28 receiving yards.
Jacksonville loves him, and he's the clear guy, so I think you need to pick him up.
Is he a guy that you think has RB two upside Tanner? Like you said, it's I don't like the match of this week against Tennessee.
I would say the upside is there, and he was the only running back on the week to have 100% of his team's running back carries.
And this team said that they traded for net because they liked what they had.
And I feel like Week one shows.
James Robinson was exactly why they said that.
So he's somebody that I would definitely want to try and roster, but I wouldn't be excited about him in week two.
Yeah, I've got but be cautious starting him like I mentioned before.
I don't really trust many of these general running backs, you know, until we see a little more production from them.
And I like the 100% you know, being the only running back out in the field.
So if we see another week of that, then maybe we should start thinking about starting this guy.
Yeah, At least needs to be owned.
I mean, you just can't keep them floating out there.
A good matchup coming up, then the last one. I have my list years.
Obviously, James Connor got hurt.
He's questionable for this week.
It wouldn't be terribly surprising to see him set matchup with Denver.
Tougher than what it looks like on paper after You know, they let Henry kind of do whatever he wanted that last drive or so, but came in in lieu. O.
In relief of Connor had 19 carries, 113 yards as a rookie last year. I love this guy.
He's just a player that runs angry.
He's just he looks like somebody wronged him and he needs to hit somebody, Are you? This here's a question.
So if you are a James Connor owner, Luke, is he your number one priority this week? I mean, I would think so.
He was running great at the end of the game against the Giants.
You know, he almost reminded me of Zack.
I know you're a Packer fan.
I'll drive me a little when we Christian Michael running hard, hard head down.
You know, um, I think you know, he's a young player trying Thio put his name out there, and he's gonna run hard every time he touches the ball.
I mean, maybe it's against the Giants defense, but I like the way he ran the ball.
And Pittsburgh has a good offensive line, too.
So if I have James Conner, I would love to have Benny Stella's Well, I agree.
If Connors hurt, then I really don't see how Snell isn't just productive in that Steelers offense, and they always just rely on one running back.
And I think you saw that one. Conor got hurt.
The fact that he had 19 carries and the old lines great, Like the offense is great.
So he's somebody, like, if I was a condor owner, I would definitely be like, pretty aggressive and trying to get him.
So say you're not a Connor owner, can, er, out of the five running backs we just talked about who is your number one priority? I'm gonna go with name Heinz.
I'm gonna go with the chalk pick is the number one pick up of the week.
Um, I just like that colts, the Colts offense and Philip Rivers throwing in 19 Heinz in a given week.
And like you said, you can play the matchups when you think the colts are gonna be down.
And if you can play that right, then I think you're gonna be able to predict Heinz like, pretty well.
Same question to you, Luke.
Who's your number one priority? Well, because you picked times I'll pick someone else here.
I'll take says like I was just talking about Benny Cell.
I mean, he looked great.
Um, like I said before is a young back looking for Carrie's gonna do everything he can with those carries.
And James Counter is we don't know if he's ever gonna be ableto, you know, make it through a full game.
So, having that runner, like Tanner, you talked about it about how they basically only use one running back a game.
And what running back is in is going to get touches, you know? So and it always seems like either big band is either launching it deep into triple coverage or throw into the checkdown.
So that's, you know, there might be some receiving yards there, too.
Do either of you know or anyone in the chat know if McFarland was active on Monday night? I don't know.
I don't Okay, that could sway my decision a little bit, because if he was inactive just because you know, they had Samuel for his receiving ability and everything else, I would assume he gets involved a little bit, something to look at.
I look into the after the show actually Is there any other running back either of you want to talk about? Not off the top of my head here.
I think those were pretty much a big five that I had in mind coming into the show.
Yeah, Sam, Cool.
Let's go to wide receiver one guy.
He kept being passed on in drafts.
I ended up with a lot of them Just because, you know, whatever, I'll take the value with him in the double digit rounds.
Mike Williams People didn't think he was gonna play Week one. He did.
On top of that, he had nine targets from Tyrod Taylor.
People didn't think Tyrod would target him down the field.
That's pretty much all he did on.
Lee came away with four receptions for 69 yards but owned in less than half of leagues.
Plays Kansas City.
I would assume game script is going to force charges to pass a little bit more this week.
Are you rushing to pick up Mike Williams, or do you think this is what he's going to be pretty much every week? Tanner.
So when you were saying is the guy that was fine, w around I was actually hoping you were gonna say, Mike Williams, um, if you check my Twitter bio, I actually have.
I talked about Mike Williams and clatter the two players that I've given the nod in my Twitter bio.
Um, I feel like Mike Williams is talent wise, like so much better than like anybody.
Thanks and watching that Chargers game, it seemed like he was the number one wide receiver for time.
The guy that like I would like going forward and watching.
I was really excited to see the connection that he had with Tyrod.
And I thought Week one was really encouraging for him.
Yeah, I agree with that, too.
Um, coming up against the Chiefs, you know, you guys, I mean, they're gonna have to put emphasis on Keenan Allen because Keenan Allen just a good player.
And Mike Williams, I think, is a stud, and, you know, when he's not injured, he's got all the potential in the world, you know, it came out of wider here.
You there Clemson and he's a big guy who could go up, make catches.
He's faster than people think he is.
And I mean, if he stays healthy I think that the he is a very high feeling here.
Yeah, and obviously injuries are his biggest question mark.
He is so underrated to the point that I think it was.
ESPN at the end of last year was talking about all of the 2000 wide receiver duos in the league like talking them all up and they let the charges off and Keenan Allen and Mike Williams will both had over 1000 yards.
They're like, What the ****? Hello? Hello? Where you're too, like no one gives Mike Williams credit ever.
He caught 1000 yards last year.
They didn't, you know, bring in another pass catcher to take away targets.
Yet he falls to double digit rounds.
A lot of the cases, it's a wild, I don't know, but he needs to be owned like there's no reason why he shouldn't be owned if he has that kind of potential.
Yeah, it's crazy.
He had the 1000 yards last year on only 49 catches, which is unheard of, I think. Thio.
If the Chargers end up moving to Justin Herbert in the future, um, I think that young players often have a connection with each other and that Herbert Mike Williams connection might be a big for the second half of the year.
So if you wanna grab Mike Williams down, maybe Storm for a couple weeks, that potentials out there, too.
And Herbert has a big arm.
I would assume he I think he's going to really like Hunter Henry.
But he's gonna He's gonna chuck it deep to or throw than Tyrod is, I would assume, well, going forward.
Let's talk about Paris.
Campbell player, who was supposed to have a break out year last season, had injuries, obviously, but coming out showing out Week one, owning less than 30% of leagues, plays Minnesota this week.
I just a little bit talked about how I think Philip Rivers has 50 pass attempt outside this week, he led the team in routes, tied the team and targets had six catches, 71 yards wide.
Where are you putting Paris? Campbell, I guess in terms of priorities this week, Luke.
So I like Paris.
I came out. We were on a church last week where I was talking to Michael Pittman a lot.
Um it seems to be just after week won the Paris Candles more of a priority for them than getting Michael Pittman involved.
I don't that was just matchup based.
Or but I think receivers, they're gonna run heavy here in against Minnesota.
You talked about it.
Philip Rivers, maybe 50 pass attempts.
The Packers that actually torched Minnesota this week, you know, and everyone is get involved.
You had Lazard MBS and about the end of all catching touchdowns, and I don't see why Indianapolis your service can't do the same.
Campbell's a good young player who has potential is, and I was very yeah, Paris Campbell somebody.
I liked a lot coming into the league, drafted in the second round, and he had nine targets on the week.
A Zeman Ia's t y did, and the reviews out of camp for him were great.
And I think you guys have really sold me on the like, the cold passing game and the Vikings in Week two, and I definitely think you could have a good game.
Yeah, I just think that's the way you beat Minnesota, especially early on.
They don't have a pass rush and they also don't have cornerback.
Same thing with Detroit.
So fired up Aaron Rodgers again this week.
Uh, next wide receiver is a player getting disrespected all offseason by everyone, including myself.
Just kind of discounted him as like the third guy there.
Wide Receiver 10 on the week.
Russell Gauge, owned in 4% of leagues, is Dallas this week.
Atlanta had three top 10 wide receivers last week when Matt Ryan threw for 450 yards and still lost. Congratulations.
Matt Ryan, Atlanta Falcons.
Is Russell Gauge Legit? Tanner? So Russell Gauge was a big reason why wasn't as high on Calvin Ridley.
Is everybody else coming into the season like I thought he was gonna be a little bit more involved than people expected? And he's just a good player, and the Atlanta offense passes the ball a lot, and I think he's I think he's worth of pickup.
I think he could have just weeks where he disappears just because it goes to Julio goes to Hayden Hurst.
It goes to Ridley, but I mean, if he gets the targets in a game like he could definitely do something with them Yeah, wrestler gave to me.
Seems like a kind of player who's either, you know, going to score zero points.
You're gonna score 15 points.
And that all depends on his matchup that week.
You know, like you said, the Falcons love to throw the ball, don't throw well in the red zone, but, um, Russell Gauge, I think, is going to, you know, he's a third receiver, so he's not gonna, you know, great corners on him or anything.
So I think he's worth a pickup.
There is a high ceiling there.
It just if you could get those targets.
And I think Hayden Hurst usage goes up a little bit in the middle of the field, which would directly take from Russell Gauge, but yeah, I mean, he needs to be owned.
We also know Calvin Ridley isn't the most durable players off him or who you go down.
I mean, engaged immediately gets elevated.
Um, I don't think Mohammed Sunu is going to re sign with them.
I would assume he goes to San Francisco, right? You know, maybe they bring Taylor Gabriel back if someone went down.
But Russell Gauge I mean, he's good.
He's good I completely disrespected him.
But not to the point that I was high on Calvin Ridley.
So I'm not exactly sure what I was thinking about this offense.
I guess I just thought they would stink.
I had pretty much Hooley on them.
I hated Calvin Ridley, but I don't know.
I wouldn't I wouldn't assume Russell Gauge Fever four Mawr weeks than not, like four or above.
Or do you think he's just super boomer bust? Tanner? Yeah, I would say he's wide receiver.
Four more weeks or above than not, Um, like, I think he's gonna just maybe catch like, three or four balls a lot for maybe get 40 50 yards and we'll put him in that territory.
But I'm definitely not excited for him.
Yeah, I'm with that, too.
I mean, like I said before, I think he's either zero or double digits.
So it all depends on the match up.
Or, you know, like we said before, Calvin, Ridley goes down with an injury, whatever like that.
If Cal really goes down with an injury, then meet.
You want Russell gauge on your lineup, right? And yeah, he's another player.
I just don't think he has touchdown upside, unfortunately, which, you know, that's a drag.
But yeah, I think he's a wide receiver for I know he's good enough.
Let's talk about a guy I am excited about.
I was more excited about him coming into the season that he got banged up.
I was a little bit off of him last week, but I'm back on board after he made me money in DFS.
Corey Davis owned in 4% of leagues, First time in his career.
I would assume ever going back to Pee Wee that he's not the top receiving threat on the field.
Eso now he doesn't get the top coverage.
He looks like he's thriving.
Alright, seven catches for 101 yards last week.
Wide receiver 16 over all.
MPP are, by the way, plays Jacksonville this week.
What's your thoughts on Corey Davis? Luke? Um, like I mentioned before a.
Brown having a J.
Brown kind of hurt that that Monday night game I needed him to like seven points.
So when one of my leads and that didn't happen.
But, um, Corey Davis is you know, we've all been waiting for this for him to break out to be good to be this, that college receiver, where is one of greatest college receivers ever? You know, I don't know if I'm sold on Corey Davis yet.
I've tricked myself into thinking that he's good multiple times throughout his career.
And if I see maybe one or two more consistent weeks from him, then, yeah, I mean, if he's available, go ahead, pick him up.
I don't think he's going to do more help for your team.
He's gonna harm for your team.
But I would love to see more consistency before I'm sold on.
Yes, he needs to be my wider Syria to where you need to be my flex this week.
I feel like what you saw on Monday night was almost a ceiling I'd like.
I think he's gonna be a guy that struggles to get into the end zone frequently with A J.
Brown and Derrick Henry and John who there and I.
He's somebody that I've stayed away from for a while, but it almost feels different right now, like towards the end of last year, and the Titans often just improving so much and come into this year, and Corey Davis has just been really solid.
The Titans like last 56 games like that, he's been on the field.
It seems like he's getting more involved.
Um, I don't like the ceiling too much, but I do think that he's gonna catch, like, 56 balls every week.
Yeah, the opportunities. Definitely.
There I would imagine.
Okay, so let me pose this question to both of you.
Similar stat lines owned in the same amount of leagues.
Who would you rather pick up this week? Russell Gauge or Corey Davis.
I gotta go with Davis there.
I think he's the number two wide receiver option and gauges the number three.
So I think Dave is gonna be more consistent.
Yeah, I agree with that.
I mean, to make a case for Russia.
Who does the Atlanta play this week? Dallas.
Okay, so to make the case for Russell Gauge, maybe you know, Dallas got a solid defense.
Will key in on Julio Jones.
Really, a little bit might leave some opportunities open for Russell Gauge.
But I'm I'm with you.
I would rather have damos more consistency.
You kinda know a little bit more when you're getting out of them than you are with Russell Gauge.
Yeah, it's kind of where my thoughts are, too.
I think Gauge could have a better week just because, like I said, I think Derrick Henry could run for 200 yards against Jacksonville.
But Russell Gauge, at best, is the third option on that offense.
There's going to be weeks where he might be the fifth option on that offense after Gurley and Hearst.
So too much risk for me there.
Okay, last ride.
Wide receiver I have here.
I added him last again.
Not really getting talked about track Juan Smith for New Orleans.
Now Michael Thomas sounds like he's probably gonna be out this week with that ankle injury.
Worse than we expected.
He plays Monday Night Football against the Raiders, who obviously don't know how to cover Anybody owned him less than 1% of the league in ESPN leagues.
Do you think trick Juan Smith could put up? I don't know.
Do you think he has 50 plus yard upside this week? Luke? I definitely think he does.
Obviously, you know Michael Thomas.
There's not many players in the league who are Michael Thomas but trade corns with has even been playing.
You know he plays is the number.
Sometimes you up to the number three receiver and he catches Paul's.
He's got speed, too, so that might set him apart.
You know Drew Brees.
Obviously, we watch it this decline and throwing deep the last couple of years.
But every now and then, you know he'll hit Tricorn Smith.
He'll hit someone along the sideline, hit Jared Cook the other on Sunday along the sideline for a big game.
I can see maybe a couple of those faster going to trick on Smith this week.
I think with Michael Thomas out, they might run Alvin Kamara a little bit.
Might run Latavius Murray a little bit.
And maybe that sets up some play action for Tricorn Smith toe.
Maybe, you know, hit a corner pollster.
Oh, deep or something like that.
So that's what I mean.
I would I could see 50 yards out of Tricorn Smith this week.
Yeah, I agree with that.
I really think it's all about if that one deep ball or too deep balls that he gets in the game hit and I mean against the Raiders.
If there's any team I'm gonna pick for that to happen there near the top of the list.
I think they may have given up the most 20 plus passing yard plays last season between them or the Giants.
I think it was the Raiders, but that's secondary is terrible.
I will say Track one.
Smith isn't getting talked about.
I don't think he's going to be picked up in pretty much any league, so you probably can wait.
You know, for a fact that saint, they're gonna milk this and not say you know Michael Thomas's status, right? So you're going to be going into your Sunday games, not knowing his status if you trick Juan Smith, you know, maybe if you have him and Michael Thomas, you can play that wide receiver matchup and play whoever's active.
But that's gonna be a tough one.
All I'll say is Smith is probably going to be one of my favorite D EFS plays on Monday night.
For sure he's gonna be.
I'm sure he's in the three K range.
Yeah, I think season long.
If it's a 16 team league, I think you need to pick him up because We've seen ankle injuries linger every night.
Any other wide receivers you guys want to bring up? Yeah, I kind of going off that segue with Oakland there.
What do we think about Robby Anderson after his big week against Oakland last week And you can start.
So he was a guy that, like before you knew where he was gonna end up.
I was like, whatever team he goes to, he's gonna be the wide receiver one because, like, I think he's that good.
Um, And you saw what the deep ball that he caught like he could do that on any given week.
He I think that it might be hard to predict.
And I think Curtis Samuel is going to get involved in Robby Anderson is going to disappear some game and some games.
It's gonna be Robby Anderson.
Um, but I love the talent, and I really like what the Panthers are doing on offense.
So he's a guy that I would like to own.
Yeah, I think this is legit.
Like to your point, just the kind of player he is.
He's going to have those boomer bust weeks, so there's going to be weeks that he's for sure going to disappoint.
But this is a guy who Matt Rule loves had him at Temple.
He fought for his eligibility.
A temple Go You, no matter who gets hired by the Panthers.
Recruits, um, gets this guy again.
He's going to rival for the top wide receiver spot with D.
J Moore this year.
He just is that there's no reason for Matt Rule to go out and recruit on the second time, get him on his team.
If he doesn't love him, wants to use them, it's there.
I didn't know that about Matt Rule.
That's really interesting, actually.
Right? Yeah, that's I mean, I've talked to a lot of Jets fans.
I hate Robby Anderson this offseason, so maybe that's why I feel like everyone hated him this year.
But I don't know.
I was really high on him.
I think he's at a floor a wide receiver three This year.
Any other guys? The only other one I had my list was Scotty Miller from Tampa Bay.
No, that Brady likes his slot receivers.
He likes his white guys.
He found the one white guy in the field and targeted right.
You know, if you guys have any thoughts on him, I actually have him written down to, um, he had six targets in the game.
Like people are saying he's really clicking with Brady, and I feel like what you saw in Week one might be pretty similar to what we see going forward from.
I think that's fair.
I just don't believe he has enough upside.
Obviously, Saints can easily any game ever take Mike well, Mike Evans out of the game, one on one with Lattimore, and they had a couple set of eyes on God when I mean, that's a team that knows how to match up with the ****ing here.
So, by default, Miller was open.
But, yeah, he's going to get his targets this year.
He's in line with an Adam Humphreys in Tennessee to me, not because they're too white slot receivers and no one's heard off.
But you know, if you need a wide receiver in a pinch, I think they'll be fine.
They just don't excite me.
Yeah, let's move on too tight ends.
But we'll might as well start with the number one tight end from last week.
Dallas got hurt.
Only 27% of leagues place the Rams this week.
This is almost exactly what I wanted.
I was talking last week.
How you know, Screw Zacher.
It's about crying about not feeling wanted.
I wanted Dallas Qatar to go out and ball pretty much jump in front of them and steal it.
Touchdown. That's what I wanted.
Hurt scored the first touchdown of the week, but got it was an animal, obviously tight end, one on the week on 27% of leagues.
He needs to be owned, right? Yeah, he definitely is.
I read on Twitter.
I don't like the stats right, but it sounds right that he hasn't scored less than seven fantasy points since week five of last season.
That's 13 games in a row.
And so I mean, it sounds like the Eagles have a plan for Dallas.
Qatar's you know, especially with records.
Not kind of kind of little displeasure there.
So if Dallas hurts keeps put down, sir, it's Dallas.
Qatar keeps playing good.
Definitely the potential is there to be the number one tight end in Philadelphia and It's like, Who else are they throwing the ball to? Really? I mean, there's not really any other weapons in that offense.
So we have Zach Ertz.
Little displeasure in Philadelphia, we have the Chicago Bears with Alan Robinson.
Chicago Bears. Probably.
We need to get another tight end, right? They only have about 15 on roster right now, so maybe they trade straight up. Alan Robinson.
Zach Ertz win win.
What a trade that be, man.
If only Philadelphia had more than like a half second to feel all right.
Feel bad for winds all of the time.
Yeah, yeah, he's what's okay.
Over under over under a 7.
How? Yeah, after a epic Sacks last week.
Eight sacks, 15 quarterback hits.
It's Ruff's Angela, right? Exactly 100%.
Anything else say about Dallas? Qatar? Except for if he's out there, you need to pick him up.
Yeah, that should be the instant picked up this week.
Yeah. Yeah, he might be.
He might be in the number one priority for me.
Um, Chris Herndon is the next one I have written down for the Jets owned 41% of leagues.
So on one hand, I think that's right.
I think he should be.
On the other hand, why is 14% more of leagues owning him than Dallas Goddard? I have no idea.
Right this week.
Tough match up with the Buffalo Bills, but last week had seven targets turned that into six catches.
Obvious chemistry was saying, Donald, they probably will pass more with leaving on Bell out.
I mean, that's assuming Adam Case doesn't want to feed Balash Kalumba Lodge that he just brought it now.
So maybe who knows? But what's your thoughts with Chris Herndon? Do you think he needs to be all under? Do you think 41% about right, Tanner? I would say it's about right.
I think, out of the options on the Jets, he will probably be like him.
And crowd will be the most involved every week.
But ultimately, it's still the Jets offense, and I just don't really see much of a ceiling with him.
And yeah, I mean, I'm I'm not excited at all.
I'm just generally not excited for any piece.
That's part of the Jets and Adam gays.
Yeah, by the way, I said Bills.
They play 40 Niners.
I just popped in my head because I've been touting the franc or revenge game.
Yeah, I was like, say, um so with bell out, maybe that creates some more opportunities for them. Throw the ball.
I mean, the jets aren't good.
They might be the worst team in the league, but so they're gonna be behind the be passing the ball.
I don't think Sam Donald's developing like everyone thought he was going to develop.
You know, there's some shades of good there, but there's a lot of bad that comes, Um the Jets are I don't think are good.
And I Firstly, I'm staying away from them.
The whole offense is the whole.
So I think 41% right, he didn't do well for me s last week.
So maybe that's my bias talking against him.
But no, I'm not going out of my way to pick up Herndon this week.
Maybe you'll go out of the way to pick up CJ Uzma.
He's kind of my deep sleeper, I guess of a pick up here for the Cincinnati Bengals owned and less than 1% of leagues he will be playing Thursday against the Browns.
He's the move. Tight end.
He's the receiving tight end for the Bengals, second on the team and targets with five.
He's going to be involved, I think, you know, once the often starts in the red zone.
I don't know if you guys have any specific thoughts on him.
I just think he needs to be a guy you keep your eye on.
Not necessarily pick up, I guess.
Yeah, I'd for sure.
Like you said, Titans are a dime a dozen in fantasy football.
So maybe if one of your tight ends goes down, maybe George Kittle might miss some time here or he's got a naked injury.
You might wanna look at Zouma, but you know, the big red zone target, maybe a touchdown.
A couple touchdowns this year.
I mean, he has he had a 19 year reception, which is, you know, so and borough is not a bad quarterback.
He's gonna throw the ball.
So I think keeping on your radar don't call it your way to pick him up, though.
Yeah, there's kind of a lot of mouths to feed in that offense.
And I think if you want him to do something, it's gonna be if he comes.
If he happens to come down with a touchdown in the red zone, which I'm not too excited for, very fair.
Any other tight ends.
You guys want to talk up? Um, I'm trying to see I Greg Olsen on my last year.
I think he landed in a perfect spot quick, and I think he's good enough to be the starting tight end when this comes back, will displease in there.
So I mean, yeah, So if you like where he is right now, I don't expect that changed too terribly much.
Yeah, Josh Gordon has to come back, I guess, Right? Yeah.
Um, I feel like John New John E.
Smith is a must own.
I love the talent.
He came out at the beginning of the game and he caught that screen pass and, like people on Twitter, were like, Who's that running back receiver running the ball like he finally came into the season fully healthy, which has been a struggle for him, and he played the Jaguars next week, and I'm starting him over.
Tyler Higbee in one of my leagues? Yeah, Higby drastically overrated this year, John You Smith owned in just 22% of ESPN League.
So so your point probably out there and the the guy that they use in a variety of ways.
I also had a Logan Thomas at Washington to If you have any thoughts on him, I think he's legit.
He's an athletic guy.
He's just not going to be consistent.
I mean, trust him as far as you can trust Dwayne Haskins, Which to me, I don't know.
But at the same time, he's the only red zone receiving threat on the team.
He's, I think, 65 The next red zone threat, I guess, is McLaurin.
Just because he's the only one talented catching the ball and he's 6 ft so con touched on Week one.
Mawr the season.
Maybe a six touchdown guy.
Yeah, Logan Thomas I got here.
So that's a big red zone target.
Athletic, too. Yeah.
Any thoughts on him, Tanner? Or is that it? Um, no.
I honestly hadn't really looked into him at all that's fair.
Keep him in the, uh, Any other guys we may be missing.
You wanna go back and touch on or give your top out of the week or anything like that? Or players you think people need to ditch now before it's too late? Um, I mean, for a big ad, we kind of went over it.
I'm still on the Dallas Qatar train.
You know, the Heinz to 10 I think you said, is your running back.
But I think if either one of those guys, if you could grab you that one of them than your team is better than it was last week.
How much fab would you be willing to spin on? Got it? It depends on I guess, my tight end situation.
Let's say I have one of the bottom bottom couple considered tight end one. Guys.
I'm not even sure who I'd consider that.
Maybe maybe Jordan.
Let's just add to him.
Um, I would spend I to be honest, maybe, like 20%.
I really like him.
I think he's worth it.
I think it's fair.
And if someone outbids you, then find they can appetite him for over 20.
Ah, 22 down on Heinz right now.
And I feel like that's about right.
How do you What do you guys think? I personally don't love it just because I think Well, im positive last week was a ceiling game.
I think he has a good game this week.
He's definitely a guy.
I'm going to try to pick up to trade after week, too.
So if you can flip it like that, I'm cool with it, But yeah, I don't need to go out of my way to get him this week.
Yeah, I'm getting on that train to, um one guy immediately.
Dropped this morning was Stephen Gostkowski.
I had Titans minus 2.
5 in a lot of places, betting so right.
Him and Bullet Bullock with this fake cramp.
No, he's gone, though. At least they cut him.
Did they think I don't even see that? Yeah, out here.
I think they just extended it.
I'm not too long ago either.
So whatever you got paid go go get a ni V for those cramps, I guess.
Have fun, right? this is I don't know.
This is a random talking point when I was looking through tight ends on the waiver wire.
I don't know if this is the same for all leagues this year, but ESPN has Taysom Hill listed as a tight end, which I thought is interesting.
It could end up being sneaky later on this year.
Never know I actually haven't been dynasty.
And I just lost like Darwin, Like my timing situation and dynasty is rough.
And so I was kind of banking on jar win.
At least get me some points in my lineup every week.
So I'm actually considering starting Taysom Hill there.
Especially if Thomas is out.
I thought I think New Orleans one of their early, the early first place they were getting tasting hill involved.
It might have been a sweep or something or a screen pass right to him, and he took a 10 10 plus yards.
So however, they're gonna use Taysom Hill, you know, he's a playmaker.
He's once he gets the ball in his hands, it's gonna be fun to watch.
He's a stud wish.
What's the Packers hung on for him? instead of, you know, Brett Hundley house.
Any other closing thoughts before we get out of here? Um, none of my mind.
Just ready for another great week of football.
Yeah, Same here once you running back from us to you.
We will be back tomorrow.
I think I'm doing rankings.
I think looks with me and trapper.
Should be a good time.
We're here every single day, so if you're watching the replay
