Oh, it's Tuesday, September 15th.
Everything's okay now, but I had a bit of a nervous breakdown last night.
You know, the other day I talked to you about the purchase.
Over the weekend, we bought this massive, awesome smart television for the bedroom.
Guy came I had him set up everything because I can't do it.
Subwoofer, sound, bar, everything.
It's like just this incredible sound like you never want to leave the bedroom ever again.
You're gonna watch and watch and watch, and that was great.
But last night I'm flipping through, and all of a sudden I'm like, Dude, uh, it's my son.
I'm like, Dude, my wife is not happy about my son watching in bed, but whatever, we'll talk about that later.
I'm like, Dude, do you hear the subwoofer like that? You know, that bass sound like you're in a theater, He's like, No, and I'm like, I don't either.
And then I go over, look out the television and that look of the speakers and sound bar is not working.
And I am just like everything falls apart in my life at that moment.
The biggest deal in the world.
But yet I can't control the reaction and everything falls apart.
I can't focus on anything else for the next five hours.
For the next five hours, I am trying to get the subwoofer subwoofer working because it was supposed to be working and I'm clicking and I'm trying to connect him.
My devices paired, but it's not connected.
I thought, if it's paired, is connected, but it has to be paired and connected.
Everything looks good, but nothing's working.
Why isn't it working? I tried everything up and down, back and forth, you know, and I just couldn't figure it out until finally, finally, um, I was, by the way, I went to look in the manual and the manual, like is You can't understand that stuff like it's not possible.
They Whoever is writing the instructions is an idiot.
There's nothing in the instructions that looks anything like the things that you're doing when you're trying to go through the steps.
I don't know why it's so hard.
Toe right manuals and instructions.
They are horrendous.
Push this button, Push This button just pushed the blah, blah, blah button.
Okay, where is that ****ing button? on my remote.
It doesn't say that on my remote Eso that is, You know, like you want your blood pressure is rising and it's just taking over your life.
And then I go to watch a YouTube video of this idiot all he does on the YouTube video.
I'm like, oh, youtube video. Great.
I could watch it.
All he does is flip through the instruction manual.
Just do this on page six and page five like, How is that helping? You're supposed to do a video that I don't have to look at the instruction booklet.
That was my night, but I figured it out.
I figured it out.
It came down to just resetting the entire thing.
And then finally seeing the device pair correctly and connect to the sound bar and subwoofer.
And then we were back in business after I ra***ed and Tora Part every relationship in my life last night.
My daughter, my sons, my wife.
Just because I had thio, I had to know how to do this.
But everything is okay now because it's working again.
Who? But this is why I asked people to come and put the stuff in so I don't have no stress about this stuff.
Apparently, I still do.
Apparently, I still can't just watch something.
Everything so simple until I have to go through the manual.
And then something goes wrong.
And then it's like among spell cas.
My nerves are shot.
I don't know how I get through this life.
Okay, uh, let's talk about the check it out portion of the show.
I think that, you know, I was talking about movies, but then I said, Like, you know, it could be anything.
Could be, You know, streaming shows Siri's.
It could be movies.
It could be television shows.
It could be podcasts.
So at one podcast, that is like a surefire like you're going to love.
That is just fantastic.
And a lot of these podcasts I listen to I listen to all my runs, which is just great to go through.
Conan O'Brien needs a friend.
Uh, if you have, then you know what I'm talking about.
If you haven't, then you gotta go check it out.
It's just good laughs. It's funny.
It's a joy to listen to the guests are always really interesting on.
Do you know he's just so silly in the most beautiful ways Conan O'Brien, that is.
And he's just got a great sense of humor.
And, um, I highly recommend that you go check out Conan O'Brien needs a friend and listen through their always a great episodes in interviews.
Even if you don't know the subjects three interviewees, it doesn't matter.
It's still great, and you'll you'll see why.
Okay, All right, let's move on.
Okay, Portfolio update.
There's no change, you know, Short gold, 2050 Looking to sell stocks again After we had a massive short position that we put profit on last week, there's nothing else going on.
There just is nothing else going on, and that's going to take us into the next segment.
Sports book were coming off a great win on Monday in Monday's book.
We had to tennis matches, and then we had the Monday Night Football game.
We had the third leg of the matchup was the Giants just Thio plus seven in the first half, and we hit that they were.
They lost by six in the first half, so they covered that spread Interestingly enough, it almost would have pushed.
But, um uh, Pittsburgh missed an extra point.
So that actually solidified.
If they if they hit the extra point, then we would have just pushed there and then one of the other two plays, and we would have gotten paid out less.
But we got paid out.
So we do not want to talk about what would have happened worth what would happen.
All right, that takes us into the Tuesday ticket.
Okay, so we're going back to the Rome.
The tournament that's going on.
That clay court tournament in Rome on the W t.
A side is where we're focused on the first matchup.
Is this one, uh, garbine Muguruza against Sloane Stephens.
I don't really know what's going on here.
So, again, this is the first leg.
Both of these plays that I give you.
They have Thio come through the first one.
Is this tennis play for today? Okay, so this is one of two.
Obviously, as for the odds, it's kind of risky, right? Because, uh, Sloane Stephens is the underdog, and she's she's actually paying you 150 for every 100.
You risk Andi yet we like Sloane Stephens Toe win this.
Why? Well, I think that this this line is kind of interesting.
Now, Sloane Stephens hasn't been great in her last 10 matchups four and six.
But Muguruza hasn't been awesome.
She's just six and four in the last 10 matchups.
If you look at most more recent play, I actually think that Sloane Stephens is playing better over the past, uh, out of the U.
Both, um, didn't have tremendous success, but Sloane Stevens won the first two rounds easily, and then she put up a fight against Serena Williams.
Okay, Muguruza Not as impressive in her in her US Open performance on DSO.
I think that Sloane Stephens is actually in better form since the U.
Coming into this tournament on DSO.
I like her on that basis.
Now, as far as the matchup goes between these two, they're both the same age about.
So both writer roughly around the same rank gurus is actually a bit of a higher rank, which which accounts, perhaps for the the odds here for in her favor.
But when you look at this thing, um, they have played each other twice and recently, like not not in recent years.
They've played each other twice, and I can't remember exactly what the dates were.
But twice to match ups and Sloane Stephens just beating her twice, easily, easily.
Now, you might say to me, Okay, well, you know, fine, but But maybe this is a clay court thing.
Maybe move gurus as the favorite here because of the clay court advantage, right? Not so right, because one of the matchups that Sloane Stephens beat Muguruza was on clay at the French Open.
So and easily so.
I think that Sloane Stephens, coming into this, is in better form.
I think that she's the better athlete, the better player.
I think that she's showing that she could beat her on clay.
She's beating her both times.
She's played her.
I don't see any reason why Muguruza should be coming in with this burst of confidence.
That should be, you know, feel making Sloane Stephens feel like she can't take her again.
So there's nothing really that's changed here.
And so we like Sloane Stephens toe win in this first leg of today's, uh, ticket.
Okay, so that's that's the first leg, Second leg goes to the NBA.
We're going to the n b A and we're not big on the n b A.
I'm not crazy about basketball.
Ast faras college basketball.
Yes, but as far as speculating ****ysis in n ba, we don't love it.
But this one we do love and that's this matchup.
Game seven nuggets clippers.
Um and what we want here is we're not worried about the spread.
We're not gonna We don't need to be bothered by that.
But what we will do is take the Clippers toe, win the game.
You can see here.
The Clippers are very heavy favorite to win the game.
I think odds wise there seven or eight point favorite, we're taking them just to win the game.
If you were taking this straight up, then you have to pay a lot.
You have to pay 3 23 risking toe win, just the hundreds.
That's silly, but because we're structuring this in a combination play and this is the second leg of the play.
Um, if this comes through on again, we just want the clippers toe win.
Then look what happens to the tickets.
So, um Here's the ticket for today.
We have Sloane Stephens just to win, and we have the Clippers just toe win.
That ticket is really nice.
It's risking 100 toe win to 28.
Again, I do recognize that it is a little bit more risky than normal.
As far as the match up with Sloane Stephens goes because she is an underdog.
Normally with are structured combination plays.
We like to take clear favorites than group them together for a nice payout record wise.
But in this case, there is a bit more risk because Sloane Stephens is the underdog.
Having said that, and with our ****ysis and what things are showing, we believe Sloane Stephens can win the match up.
And so today's Tuesday bet slip combination play Sloane Stephens toe win, Clippers toe win, risking 100 to make 228 for every 100 you make to 28 that's pretty cool. That's your structure.
Play of the day.
All right, that's it.
