Yeah, Yeah, It's Zaun.
Yes, Same here was going live in lawn.
There we go. We're live.
Well, let us go.
I just got a phone call from one of my guys.
Welcome back, everybody to the Gridiron Ratings Network Channel Show.
This is our week.
One waiver primer round up.
Whatever you wanna call it.
Um, we wanna just really quick during halftime, bust through our thoughts on waivers this week.
This is a really important time of the season to dive into waivers and get ahead of the path.
And so everyone that drafted, if you're playing in a sensible lead, you're gonna have a decent number of rock spots on your bench.
This is this week and next week are where you can go in and stash the guys that turn into your Odell Beckham's turn into your, um, Karim hunts from a couple years ago.
This is where you make the plant on your roster to then lead you towards the championship.
Later, as the season goes on, people are gonna pay more attention and hopefully we can help you get a little insight on what you should be looking for? What's up, Jeff? That man? Not much.
Um, since this is halftime and we're gonna try toe, finish up before the shells, try to knock this out in, like, 15 minutes and just bang through these over and over while we start with some running backs, we basically just to give you guys a little background we looked in.
We ended up settling on ESPN for ownership percentages in our plan was to do people less than 25% owned.
But there's a couple guys that might still be on waivers that air over that.
So we'll just bang through and give you an order of, like, scarcity and then let you guys make decisions on your own on who you want to end up picking up.
But first running back.
We've got Malcolm Brown.
He's owned on 8% of leagues, had in 18 79 and two line plus three receptions for 31 against the Cowboys, who by all accounts, really shouldn't be that bad of a defense.
Um, I was shocked at how little came acres was used.
This looks like it might end up being a bit of a cluster bomb in terms of a backfield three headed monster.
However, Malcolm Brown looked like the best running back on the team.
So what are your thoughts with him? Ran really strong.
You know, Vander s going out with a collarbone.
Obviously, he was there long enough.
We got to see Brown with their fully loaded defense.
If you want to call it that and he still look great that off, like it was actually coming along nicely.
Henderson gets healthy, is gonna eat into those touches.
But if I'm sitting there relying on, say, a Patriots running back right now is white as a running back two or three, probably trying brown and spent upwards 30 35%.
Yeah, I agree with that.
I think that because there's so many running backs that are on waivers right now, if you're in free agent hitting, I might diversify because there's a few other guys that I like kind of similar to brown, so I might spend a little less than you would on him.
But the next guy's actually another great example of that.
Josh Kelly is not going to get the workhorse share that Brown potentially could work into.
However, we've seen with the Chargers in the past.
They like to have two different style running backs in their offices, and they're both usually fantasy, viable when they're producing.
This game started off with Justin Jackson taking two carries, and then they put in Josh Kelley and they were like, All right, see you later.
Justin Jackson is to Josh Kelley show.
Well, Jackson got hurt again, and this guy is.
That's the thing with him is that for every season he's been on the roster, he's always getting dinged up, and he's the example of a B M.
I may not matter for running backs or anything, but he's, uh, he's getting hurt like that argument like May.
So I looked this.
Hey, look what Joshua Kelly young guy.
He's robust ground.
He's got a doom.
He that kind of number compared to me.
Oh, you know, receiving back.
But here's the thing.
I fully expect to see more and more time lives on, and as we touches, the more and more important, Kelly will become more efficient for the whole line.
Works here reputation with Evan flow over the next 34 e don't know if I like him as much as I like Brown because I think like number one running back spotted for grants.
Yes, Um, just for Luke and Matt, who just topped in, we had Malcolm Brown is our top waiver wire ad right now.
The running back position he's owned in 8% of leagues.
Josh Kelley, though it's another.
He's a great consolation prize, and if you're looking for a guy that you can hold on to and throw into your flex, he's only available and his available in 11% of leagues.
Right now, I really like him.
I like his upside in that offense.
I don't care about Justin Jackson, even if he was healthy.
Joshua Kelly, by all accounts, has look incredible in training camp.
I think there's a reason he wasn't shown very much in hard knocks because they wanted to keep him a secret.
That's my hypothesis, at least.
But Joshua Kelly, Malcolm Brown, I've got Jerick McKinnon on here, and I know you don't like that as a 40 Niners fan, However, you cannot deny what he did on the field on Sunday.
He's owned in 16% of leagues.
I'd rather have Kelly and I'd rather have brown.
But if you want to pull in a running back that is not really owned anywhere, that really all being said looked like, you know, if he's gonna be the hot hand in the receiving game, he's gonna put up decent enough lines where he could be a flex starter. Your tweet.
Each week he's a guy that I would grab and stash.
Right now, though, I'm not gonna grab your McKinnon and put him in my lineup anywhere right now.
But as we see this season, progresses E.
Yeah, I mean, he that's fair.
Like he's a guy that if you if you've got room to stash someone and sit them on the back end of your cost right now, I do think it's worth keeping him around.
They paid him a lot of money.
They sat through two injuries.
They have stuck by him despite bringing in other running backs.
In despite the fact that when I look at their running back situation, I kind of like most better.
I think Tevin Coleman's um or complete back.
But Jake McInnes more athletic and most of those guys and there's something about him that he coaches in uh, Santa Clara, like Thio latch onto, and I'm curious to see what happens.
I don't want to sit on him and see him become a productive player and miss out on waivers.
So if I've got room, stash him on your rosters.
That's my advice there.
But out of all of those guys, James Robinson is the one that I am the most excited about.
He looked really good.
He's owned in 30% of leaks, so he's gonna be a little more difficult to grab.
Because of the pre Week one announcement that he was the designated starter, however, 16 carriers for 62 yards in a catch for 28 yards.
That was an amazing play.
He really, really surprised me.
I would actually put James Robertson in terms of just true full share running backs.
They're they're pretty rare.
And even though he's not on the best team, I would rather have him than Joshua Kelly and my starting lineup potentially moving forward.
Um, Jax played a good defense.
They look good men.
She looked good. We'll get to that later.
But that's my last guy that I wanted to bring up, you know? So McKinnon we'll go back to him, you know, way too.
And we two is because you've got the spring meeting or he's gonna be limited.
Even if he plays, You know, we're going on without you. We don't know what's going on.
You know, we don't know where we are with these guys yet, so that does open up some targets.
But 49 miners back there was always a productive pressure.
Let me see what you guys.
And so I don't know if I'm a $5 nothing more or taking them as a free agent.
I'm not spending a priority.
Thinks the guy on the bottom of the wrong e starting week to two other viable options.
But, man, you're gonna play that guy Dean Robinson.
E think it was really impressive.
You know, I'll always take a bad, especially the small.
Our number one not seems to be that he was a Yeah, every single for the Jaguars thing.
Yeah, yeah, I agree.
I I think that if I had ordered these guys and last one, I'll bring up We don't wanna spend too much time on him because we're running short on halftime, but name Heim's is the last guy he's owned in the most percentage of Leeds.
But with the Marlon Mack news and the way Philip Rivers has tunnel vision for pass catching running backs, I would put in a him Heinz as my number two waiver wire running back ad.
Right now, he's available behind Malcolm Brown.
And then I would actually have James Robinson has my number three simply because of what you just said.
Workhorse role that is rare of the amount of touches he's going to see is going to eclipse a lot of these other guys on this list.
Whether the best touches or not.
Not too concerned.
I'm just happy he's getting the touches, right? Yeah, I like Heinz to.
And I think it was a defining role.
And that role could be, you know, uh, worthwhile attitude.
So just to recap kind of in the order Malcolm Brown.
Then you got in the him.
Heinz, James Robinson, Joshua Kelly and then Jerick McKinnon.
Those are the five guys should play around with, I'd say kind of in that order.
You can play to your preferences, though.
Don't just listen to us.
and other people who tell you what to do to make your own decisions.
Um, you'll be happier when they pan out that way.
That wide receiver.
This was a really interesting week.
The first guy I actually want to bring up a Scotty Miller.
He's available in 9% of leagues in general.
And this guy was kind of what we've seen with Brady in the past.
He's your underneath a little quick safety blanket.
Uh, I don't want this kind of production.
We're going to see us.
Mike Evans have do***ented history and Lattimore shutdown.
Lattimore is a blanket.
Experts had hit the wide receiver for going into week.
They weren't starting at all this week.
Hey 11 thing real quick, Jeff.
One thing real quick in the chat.
Can you guys let me know if Jeffs breaking up a little bit? Because he is from my and I wanna make sure that we're getting our audio through to you Keep gone.
But when you're breaking up, yeah, maybe it's just the hosting service on SportsCastrs.
This I love Sports Cafe.
This is a great service, but By all accounts, it seems like it's a new one.
So maybe make some notes and we can give feedback if it's a hosting thing.
Anyway, Sorry to interrupt.
Yeah, Scotty Miller.
That offense is not gonna allow him to be fantasy arrival every week.
So it's gonna be the Godwin Evan.
Right? And you're not a go around, so I don't want you got a few of the guys on this list that i e.
So if we bank through those you had Russell Gauge on here, he had nine receptions for 114 yards.
I'm just telling you, that's not gonna happen every week.
The benefit of playing against the Seattle Seahawks defense, which is great on the back end, is atrocious in the trenches, Matt Ryan had all day.
It was the least pressure quarterback in the NFL this weekend.
So far at least, um, but and you know, if you're gonna super deep league pick up Russell Gauge, he's owned in nowhere, he's free, and nobody else is gonna bid on.
Um, Marcus Value.
It's canceling is my favorite waiver wire pickup this week.
He could have had 180 yards and two touchdowns.
But too deep bombs.
Mayor and Rodgers didn't connect.
They could have.
And even with that, he had 96 yards, a touchdown and four receptions coming from.
I believe it was eight targets.
I think that we're back to the Aaron Rodgers old.
I know it's Week one.
I wanna be hesitant, wait and see.
But if that is the case, you do not want to fall behind on grabbing the grabbing.
The second hottest player in their offense, Alan deserves fine to.
The problem is that Allen Lizard is owned, and I think almost 40% of leagues MPs is basically owned by nobody.
Right now, everybody forgot about MVS after last year's injuries and everything else but for two years.
Aaron Rodgers talking.
When Aaron Rodgers gets behind player like you do with Monty Adams, there's usually good things.
So eso yeah, I like him.
Yeah, he's a player.
He's a smart athlete.
Super path. Big long.
Yeah, sure, yeah.
So he's my favorite pick up this week, However, there's two guys on this list that I think could be even better producers.
They're just gonna be harder to grab That's Paris Campbell and Mike Williams.
I know that Paris Campbell is the guy that you really love.
This week he's only 30% of leagues.
He had six receptions for 79 yards and he ran the ball twice for nine yards.
I think his usage is actually going to continue to go up, but I'll let you go ahead and take the reins on him.
So the big knock in Paris, Campbell's anything right? This guy could run the entire tree.
The trouble is, Ohio State never asked to do it.
Kind of like Michael Thomas.
Knock on him. You can't run route.
In fact, Ohio State, that doesn't ask, refers to do very much, but they recruited a particular type of place that smart guides who are thought I could confined cold zones.
That's exactly what Paris Campbell dio, and we're going to sleep more and more of that as the seasons.
Alright, Eat and Alan Clones in Indianapolis, and I expect his production toe only climb over the course of the season.
I don't think 200 yard games really crazy like that, but you know, we're seeing five catch it for 55 to 85 more isn't out of the realm of possibility to start touchdowns.
Yeah, I agree with all that.
He's a great pickup.
He's somebody that if you could grab him right now as the season progresses by week, start coming in injuries.
I'd be happy to throw him in as my wide receiver. Three.
Even my wide receiver to in those deep by weeks.
Uh, Mike Williams.
Only 38% of leaks.
Harder to grab, for sure, But if he's sitting out there with the way Tyrod Taylor threw the ball when it came to Mike Williams, not in general.
He looks like the same Tyrod we know.
But he seemed to love throwing the ball to Mike Williams.
And if that is going to be the case this year, that man is going to be a steal going on to your roster of this.
Earlier in the year, Um, he, from just a perspective standpoint, had nine targets on.
Lee pulled in four of them for 69 yards, but he's gonna average seven and nine target week.
He's going to end up finishing the years of wide receiver three, and that is something that you want to grab on your teams this early off waivers.
That's what you want to spend your free agent acquisition budget on early.
I love Mike Williams. Right now.
I want to see it continue more for a few weeks.
But what we saw is what we're gonna see this season. Steel.
I want to see if they help me.
E want to see him through a season.
But he was hurt.
Hey, he was like, you know, he's gonna play, and then he gets nine targets.
Yeah, he wasn't supposed to play.
The whole thing was, it's doubtful he's not gonna be a game decision.
Fast, blah, blah, blah.
And then he's out there catching long passes, and I'm standing there with Austin everywhere Keenan Allen s on.
If he stays healthy all year, he's gonna be a viable wide receiver three.
And you know he's gonna have pop weeks because he does get deep, and so he's gonna have a long touchdown.
Place your place.
You're gonna get, like, big weeks.
But a garbage week they're going to come with eventually gonna turn into a couple over.
You know, I don't think nine Target is gonna be his thing. Everything.
Sure, with all the other weapons offense, but you could expect between five and eight.
You'll see you had 11 a couple weeks.
But for the most part, he's a deep threat.
You should be viewed as such, and he has a high injury risk.
So I'm putting behind person behind age.
He's actually my last guy.
E might even take Scott.
Got him. Miller over.
Sure, sure, I think that we'll see with it.
I think that stealing for Mike Williams is potentially higher than all of the mixed, separate Paris Campbell.
And that's what I'm going after right now with my kind of back in stash waiver wire pickups.
That's just the strategy I've always used.
It tends to work.
I want a lot of my leagues, but I've also lost a lot of them as well.
So again, make your own decisions, play to your strengths and your own hunches who gave back on? So let's just really quick rattle off these last names without a ton of ****ysis.
Talking about tight end 40 Niners, who is the guy to pick up kettle Mrs Time? Well, a uh, Jordan s.
Who's gonna pick up after Jordan Reed gets hurt across the valley right before dinner, Huh? Here's my friends.
Are worth owning is the bottom line, so keep an eye on it.
You're watching the reports for Kittel more pf estimate this week.
Sure. Jack Doyle.
Love to grab him right now.
He had a market in the end zone.
Go a little over.
His head is barely through his hands, but they're targeting him in the end zone and in the red zone that are high caliber targets.
You want those? Go ahead and snagging if you're get the tighter spots.
A You just lost like Darwin, for example.
And if you're watching the game right now, keep an eye on Eric Cameron.
He's another guy that looks like he might be a good waiver wire pickup if you're looking to stream tight ends.
Um, he's got a couple decent matchups here in the next four or five weeks.
I did want to make a note, though, for Dallas. Got hurt.
You're not gonna see this every week.
I love him, though.
I own him and as many places I can.
I have since he was a rookie, especially in Dynasty, he profiles, is what could be one of the next Big Three Titans.
That said, This team is missing receivers right now.
Zach Ertz is going to get his.
But as the team starts to get healthier, they started bringing receivers that are healthy, and they start to learn how to play football again, which they didn't look like they did.
I don't imagine that you're gonna see 100 yards from Dallas Garden and a touchdown each week, but if he's available, he's on in about 50% of leagues.
If he is, though, definitely worth picking up.
He's holding onto, because if word gets injured, he's a top five diamond.
And then the last two things.
Do you have anything else? The same daughter, right? Last two things.
Nothing really to know so far, if men shoes available, he's really fun to root for.
Pick him up 19 or 20 pass attempts.
That's not gonna happen every week, but that kid looks like he wants them to make sure where he wants to make sure that they do not get Trevor Lawrence.
And I love that I want to see it all blow up in their faces.
I wanted you to win.
That makes me super happy on defense.
Is Washington has got at Arizona there? That should be good for a couple sacks.
He was big on them heading into the weekend.
I wasn't seeing it, but that was a great call.
Jeff, um they got Arizona and then to go to Cleveland.
I love those two matchups.
If you're streaming defense is it's not gonna be a point.
Make her for you.
People are gonna squash them, but they're gonna get turnovers and they're gonna get sacks.
And last word, I would say Seattle your streaming defense's and you wanna go pick up somebody.
Seattle's coming home to play against New England.
The Osmond e don't know how to pronounce that.
You the Osmond appreciate the tip and the popcorn Pretty close.
Yeah, but, uh, I would just say Seattle is a great streaming defense this week.
And then there's just a recap not come Brown.
Him Heinz James Robinson.
Jerick McKinnon, Josh Kelly.
Those are the guys that running back got Marcus filed a scant Ling PARIS Campbell Mike Williams got a Miller Russell Gauge guys to look at wide receiver tight end Doyle Ebron Goddard and then the last guy.
We didn't bring them up.
But if you're throwing for Dart throws right now, Logan Thomas had eight targets for for 37 in a touchdown.
If he could get 80% of that each week, he's gonna finish in the top 10.
Tight end Titans always crapshoot.
Happy to put him on the back of my team if you're in need right now, especially if you're a kid, a loner and everyone else is going after tight ends on and then quarterback, Ministry of Defense and running.
I got a positive We didn't talk about Logan almost before, but one guy to add to that to Jordan.
We're not gonna Jordan Jenkins? Yeah, athletic.
Watson loves him on third down and near the goal line, so it's certainly a guy worth looking at.
He actually pretty good against against the City island.
Yeah, I'm rooting against him cause I really want to hail warring to show up, and I know that nobody listened to do this as any idea who that is, but I love the hell warring.
I would love to see him actually turned into something anyway.
Yeah, Jordan Jenkins is another guy.
Tight end and then streaming defense's.
Washington is good for the next two weeks.
Seattle should be good for this week and potentially looking at the Cowboys and how they look next week.
Maybe even against the Cowboys.
We'll see that pretty much wraps everything up.
Thanks again, guys. Hector, Luke.
Matt The Odds man again.
Thanks for the popcorn.
We're gonna go back into the game.
What a catch and see what's going on. Various. Slaten.
I doubt he's available, but if he has picked him up for sure, he's looking huge right now.
Everywhere I took him in the Scott Fish Bowl and I'm stressing out like, tied with He's got juju.
