Okay, then we do this share.
There's the link.
Oh, we can see the top of your head.
Top of my head there.
Uh, well, for anybody who's hopping on a little early with us, we're back.
Week one, midday update.
We're gonna go ahead and share this link out to a couple of folks here, and then we're gonna get started.
But I really need Is for Austin Explorer to score a couple more touchdowns? If Austin Equity could throw some touchdowns, the Michael Thomas would be pretty great.
E think it's gonna happen? Yeah, I'm absolutely getting crushed because of its inability to happen.
I don't know if anybody's log done yet.
Just got that thing on the screen.
Can I get that thing off screen? Perfect.
Are you ready? Ready way.
Got some folks on here.
Shots and stuff.
What's up, guys? Um, if you are watching this and you watch your show earlier today, we're talking about potentially doing a midday show.
I think we're gonna keep doing this every week because it's a good time.
Halftime of both of the four o'clock games to kind of check in and see where everything's going.
Jeff and I were laughing because we actually hit on most of our predictions.
But we had a couple that we totally whiffed on for me just to start off.
I was all onto Sean Jackson.
I have to say all of the pieces were there for DeSean Jackson to perform and put what I was expecting, which was somewhere between five and eight targets for 100 plus yards and a touchdown.
He had four targets over 30 yards in this game and not a single.
One of them was within five yards of him in terms of catching it.
So they utilized to Sean how I expected he could have had 150 yards receiving and two touchdowns.
But Carson Wentz decided to not further ball accurately each time, which was disappointing.
We had some kind of blazing hot takes when it came to the Eagles and Washington football team game and I came out and said, you know, just go ahead, give me Washington to win it yeah, E I thought you were an idiot.
I thought in some burger I thought that take was so they pull out the W didn't look good early.
The the Eagles were out there throwing bombs, you know, whence missed rigor on a deep pass.
He missed three or four of them out there.
E would have to double check, but I think he had five targets over 30 yards and he missed on every single one of them.
When we pull the air yards, data this later this week and measuring opportunity for next week's DFS place, that would be something I'm sure that will stand out.
But once didn't look great.
I mean, there was some numbers that were put up, but I feel like a lot of it was garbage time.
And he bailed out by his tight ends quite a bit, you know, got her.
Definitely helped him out a lot.
How to touch down.
Yeah, And we we actually talked about in this game.
It was kind of a assumption that it was either gonna be You're gonna get something out of Sean Jackson with some big splash plays.
Or it's going to come mainly from Hertz and got hurt on both hurts.
And Goddard scored.
Goddard had the big splash plays for them.
Um, if you played Goddard this week and DFS Good on you.
Really? You really lucked out there.
But for me, the biggest thing was the Antonio Gibson.
Looks like he's not ready to handle the look.
Hey, was getting stuff continuously, the line of scrimmage.
He just didn't seem like he could find the right running lanes. Right.
And some of that just comes with experience and carries.
And he didn't have a lot of volume in college.
And for rookie to come in with no rookie camps.
Minimal preseason, 73 total carries in his entire career in college. Correct.
73 around under 80.
Yeah, that's not enough.
So it looks like that running game is going to be an absolute dumpster fire.
Peyton Barber looks good on paper.
Two touchdowns, no yards.
It's gonna be hard to replicate that every week, so yeah, I'm staying away completely until somebody actually emerges.
I'm gonna avoid it and let somebody else spend their $5 and and somebody else can go toe waiver town.
Well, that that's not.
And if you're jumping back in, we're just touching back on what happened in the Eagles Redskins game because it was a really thinks guy called it Washington with a come from behind win.
Scary Terry with a modest game.
I think it was five for 61 but I'll take that.
That's respectable, considering that he was going up against a couple really good corners.
But I was shocked by that.
Our game of the week.
That turned out to be everything I wanted to be.
As the Seahawks fan, Azi sits here in his Russell Wilson jersey.
Let's go, baby M v P Talk Right now.
Russell Wilson is the front runner for the M V P in Week one with Pump the brakes 329 yards, four touchdowns, 31 of 34 interceptions.
That is an M V P stat line.
Matt Ryan threw before 50.
Yeah, but he lost three for 4 50 he's on the East Coast, so he's gonna get more of the people I really think that you saw.
I do think that with this game, you saw a changing of philosophy and Seattle's offense and case in point.
Chris Carson only had six carats, right? They actually, as a team.
Chris Cartons, six carries, Carlos Hyde seven carries and Travis Homer three carries.
Meanwhile, Russell Wilson had three carries, but he 3 35 times.
And those and this was a game script where the old Seahawks would have pounded the Rock in the second half. They had a lead.
And back in the day, what you ended up seeing was Pete Carroll being like, All right, It's time for me to run the ball.
This is what I live for on Pete Carroll.
Let's get Pound the Rock.
And then he'd forget he had an elite quarterback, and all offseason people were putting pressure.
Russell Wilson was putting pressure on that coaching staff to change their philosophy, and it worked weird.
It's like, you know, if you have been a friend of mine for the last five years like Jeff has, that's all I have been complaining about.
A lot not to my credit, but like a lot of Seahawks fan, have been waiting for this of people.
So I I still want to see it happened for three or four more weeks before I decided that they've actually decided to change over the team to rust.
But This was a game that really looked like it, and it was refreshing to see.
Here's what stands out.
It was Chris Carson, and a lot of us thought Chris Carson was gonna be the guy.
If you can hear any of the background noise, I apologize.
There's a circus happening upstairs.
It's my entire family and their loud made the mistake of having Children a couple of years ago.
Yeah, two toddlers. It's a mess.
Uh, Chris Carson.
Six targets, 45 yards and two receiving touchdowns.
The two receiving touchdowns.
We thought Chris Carson would be an impact, but maybe they tried to slow the game down.
Keep the ball away from Matt Ryan, Julio Jones etcetera.
And they used Chris Carson.
Just not the way we expected.
In fact, is he got in the end zone twice and it seems to touch the ball. He was making a play.
It was Bank first down.
Banks first bank, touchdown, bank first down, just every single time he touched the ball.
That's exactly what they need from their running backs, and that's what's keeping those safeties up.
And it was allowing a few of those deeper plays the D K.
Metcalf, especially in the second half, and allowed Tyler Lockett to continually get open.
It seems like every time I looked over at that TV, there's Tyler Lockett making a catch.
That guy's outstanding, and I expect more of that as the season goes on.
But, yeah, this game was everything it cracked up to be.
How do we do on the pics on that one? So in that game we both took, we took the over, which it took the over, which it I think you picked Atlanta.
I took Atlanta a couple of one point spread Seattle.
I picked Seattle when I picked them to blow it out.
May or may not have been because on the Seahawks fan, but I'll take the victory lap.
Uh, but if we actually look through the game, we had two big misses, and then we hit on everything else.
Jacksonville in Indy.
I picked Indie, and I believe you picked Did you pick that? I took Indie.
I wasn't totally convinced.
They covered the eight, but I was like they should because it's gonna be a blowout.
And Jonathan Taylor is gonna go for a buck 20 and study e third quarter.
Yeah, when? And that actually brings up some interesting news.
So Marlon Mack did start the game.
He did leave the team and carries for the entire first half.
It looks like he has a tourney Achilles tendon, the expectation at this moment until he has a memory that he has done for the season.
And so that's for Marlon Mack.
Huge for Nikki Mines, who ended up getting a ton of usage.
And that was someone we didn't bring up on the show.
But Jeff and I have been talking about this and I have had not, and I had been unwilling to put my money where my mouth was with it.
But I kept on thinking about Philip Rivers in his obsession with pass catching running backs and the him Heinz And like, where would he fit in? E think name Heinz.
Moving forward is a flash play.
I mean, you know what? I probably want to give it one more week because I want to see what happens with Jack Doyle, and I want to have the Paris time because Paris Campbell had a couple grabs two and he looked OK So And there was a dropped touchdown for Jack Doyle.
Like all of those guys, we're getting targeted.
And it seemed like McCain times the volume really dropped off in the second half.
He had a few grabs.
He had a few carries.
It seemed like he was doing more in the passing game that he wasn't running absolutely weird.
And that's super weird, because all the knocks on him and then they ran the blinds on the goal line.
Frank Reich actually made my head dio Yeah.
I don't understand what that was.
At the end of the day, Jonathan Tailor, you drafted him in the 2nd, 3rd, 4th round.
He's suddenly gonna be worth something in the first.
You know, first half of the games, you probably felt like what ways to draft pick? Moving forward.
It's Jonathan Taylor.
Stock is going to continue Thio Name Heinz is gonna be a waiver.
Pick up. You need to go get him right now.
I wouldn't spend more than 20% of my fat, but if you get if you're looking to trade for somebody right now, I'd see how the Jonathan Taylor owners feeling your league.
And if you could go snag him right now and try and buy low wish on him, I really I just think that his his fantasy output is going to just continually go up as they get smarter about utilizing him. Get.
I think that it wasn't necessarily that they didn't feel like he could do the job, but he was a rookie.
They hadn't had any actual game time and, unlike some coaching staffs, could be really aggressive.
Like the Chiefs, most coaching staffs NFL are very conservative, and it doesn't surprise me that a rookie running back like him.
So it's another example these rookie running backs outside of J.
Dobbins all seemed so far today to be getting a very hesitant workload.
Uh, on the flip side of that, the one that didn't was James Robinson.
He ended up totalling, I think, about 60 yards.
He had 16 carries.
Hey, actually looked really good.
I was I was pretty shocked with it.
I just think he's not on a team that's going to really lend itself to running back production.
The Jaguars were going to be bad.
Don't pick up running backs on bad football teams.
That's that's generally that's a typical fantasy football move.
People like James Robinson because he is the number one.
But you know what? If somebody really wants in your league, you could probably get something decent form right now and definitely worth making that right now.
The other one we missed on was Miami at New England.
We both picked New England.
We both, I think, had New England covering the spread, and I thought it would be close.
I have to go back and review the tape.
Yeah, I just what I do know for sure we will write these down next time.
It was just that I wasn't willing to bet against Bill Belichick, right? It was a close game.
It was a one score game at the half time.
It was a one score game until the fourth quarter.
And then there was, ah, a couple of bad turnovers by Ryan Fitzpatrick.
Next thing you know, doing this three so a lot of turnovers.
One of the things that I wonder is like, how long does Ryan Fitzpatrick start with you? I'm giving it six weeks, six weeks.
If stuff like that keeps happening.
They're losing ballgames because he's turning it over 234 times a game.
They're gonna turn to to and to see what the kid has.
Because at the end of the day, this is a competitive Dolphins team, and we did see that in the first time they were hanging in there.
I mean, they they didn't look bad.
They really should any.
Any game that you play with your quarterback.
33 interceptions, two of which are in the second half, like tough to win that competent quarterback play will make a big difference for this team.
They are right now, probably a five win team with its matter if it's magic home.
He doesn't get the magic moniker today.
It's Patrick at the helm there, five winning ball club to at the helm.
There may be a seven win ball club, so and I think is a rookie quarterback to add to Wednesday.
Your team's total is pretty legitimate and we'll see how it plays out.
But I'm giving him six weeks, all right, let's bang through a couple of these, just a rehash.
We don't need to spend a lot of time on because we hit on all of these predictions.
But Buffalo turned out.
I was talking about Josh Allen having the game of his season, and I do not think that you will see that from Josh down again for the rest of the season. But it was great.
Zach Moss random receiving touchdown that was should have rushing.
But, uh, Green Bay Packers.
We both picked them over Minnesota.
We both picked on the cover of Spread Davante.
Adams decided that he was going to be the favorite fantasy football, and he showed up.
Scored 47 points in our Mutual League scoring, but we have point.
It's half point with bonuses and teared out first downs and all that sort of thing.
But 14 1 56 and 2 17 total targets.
I don't think he's getting 17 targets a game for the season, but I would be shocked if you get double digit targets on more than half of the games he plays.
Aaron Rodgers fell on his Aaron Rodgers.
I'm sorry. Erin Jones fell on his face.
Too many errands, and that's what Erin Jones falls on his face.
And now the Lazard King MVS and Adam's work All Fantasy Bible this week.
Double double digit plays for three receivers is not an easy task.
It looks like right now on the Green Bay Atlanta remain Atlanta are gonna accomplish that? Russell Gauge, baby.
Everyone saw that, Uh um, Atlanta with We didn't touch on that, but 3 100 yards receivers.
Matt Ryan threw for 450 yards.
Well, they're not as good a Seattle, so they lost.
But great game, great game, great game for fantasy.
They're just breezing through a couple other things that I wanted to talk about.
So in actual player news here, um, there wasn't really a lot else that I was really interested in to talk about from the actual games other than J.
Dobbins, I think that the J.
Dobbins show is going to start a little sooner than a lot of people have expected.
Seems like it's kind of there.
It's about a 60% split right now with Ingram, but rushing touchdown.
A couple carries by the goal line.
That's those air hot value carries.
And so, you know, we talked about the pregame show we said, Hey, you know, Baltimore They've got the bulletin board material that lost last year, and my my thought was they were just gonna come out here and steamroll, and they did.
They were not taking their foot off the gas for anything or anybody.
Dobbins look good.
Lamar Jackson was.
Lamar looked worse than Baker.
Mayfield still looks awful.
I think it was interesting worse in that game, really hurt.
We talked about the rookie tackle on having that guy in there.
He gets hurt in game.
And next thing you know, an elite defense.
Baker's running for his life all day.
It really wasn't a good fit in a good day for him.
I expect him to rebound against the lesser teams over the next several weeks.
So let's just talk about one thing. We didn't see coming.
But we're happy about Mr Robiskie.
Three touchdowns, comeback win and then DeAndre Swift losing the game.
So DeAndre Swift actually lost the game for Detroit.
Uh, it in both hands.
It got him in the worst place possible raker, and he managed to put the ball on the ground.
Most of you that are watching would have I would say, all of you all of you have fantastic, handsome short.
I was not, I don't know, eyes that breaking the fourth wall.
When I do that, I don't think it counts because we're on a livestream.
You're probably right.
We do have a wall behind us, though.
A beautiful Johnny United's right here.
It's a real autographed Johnny United Pictures.
Are you? Are you interested at all in the lines backfield right now? Are you trying to You know, I've been staying away from it in general.
I haven't bought into Peterson.
I haven't bought into Carry on Johnson.
Johnson has what looks like kind of immobilizer instead of a knee brace on his leg.
I don't know what that's all about.
I like Swift, but I felt like when he was drafted and in that split backfield that he was gonna be at least a year away, maybe two and s.
I'm another team.
We're now it's again.
It's a bad football team.
They're not a good football team.
They prefer to throw it around.
Holidays hurt that offensive, badly wounded.
They're just not that good right now.
I'm staying away.
Even the DFS um Travis Key, though in the first quarter, I was ready to skewer him and a total total just night and day.
First eso he showed back up and showed why he deserves to be the starting quarterback and just for another week.
But I know personally, I was calling for Nick Foles in the first quarter.
You're looking at something on the air.
Merry 20 yard run.
Okay, Typical Niners fan.
Um, and just the last thing that I wanted to bring up Boston Scott really disappointed.
Today you've got banged up is Well, it looks like Corey Clement is gonna be the guy until Sanders comes back.
I would just say with the way that teams offensive line is just dropping like flies.
I'm not gonna touch Philadelphia's backfield until Mile Sanders is back.
The one I want to get into those Atlanta's backfield.
Brian Hill got a lot of quality touches.
There's a lot of targets.
It felt like he was.
I think a lot of that was when the game was out of hand, though, and they were preserving early.
It's still a decent rotation, so if you're staying away from Detroit, if you're staying away from, you know Philadelphia, you're staying away from Jacksonville.
You need to figure out where you're going to reinvest and how you wanna, you know, apply those assets.
So I'm stacking my roster to win a championship in Week 13 14 15 16.
Like, who were the guys who will be left standing? Brian Hills, A guy that could be left standing at the end of the season if and when Todd Gurley's needs great on him on and also a big name to the disappointed they Nick job Tim carries for 60 yards.
I don't have the 60 yards in six yard carry.
Average is great, but 10 carries like this is what you and I talked about all offseason.
The Kareem Hunt factor.
The way that the touches, we're gonna split the negative game scripts.
And it was a negative game scripts pretty much in the opening kickoff, and I think they're gonna run into a lot of those.
And I think that shop owners everywhere going to have a lot of games where they're really disappointed when that team plays well, shove will be dynamite.
Yeah, and there will be no question about that, but I don't know how many games that's gonna come If you are a chub owner now, don't panic.
No, you know what I would say? There's, I think, that this was a unique cir***stance.
I think the Ravens were uniquely motivated by their playoff loss problem.
Yeah, there was the Cleveland game last year where they got beat.
Then there was the loss in the playoffs.
They have more continuity.
All of these different things played toe Baltimore's favor.
They were uniquely motivated, and I don't think this is a good litmus test for what Nick Chubb is gonna bring to the table.
I fully expect him to be a 220 carry kind of guy who's gonna go for 1100 yards in eight or nine touchdowns.
I don't think that's out of the question.
Even with the Duddy late today, you only need 63 yards a game to go for 1000.
Yeah, um, last thing I would bring up.
And then I did want to just bring up a note on the upcoming Giants game.
Barkley is gonna be fun to watch. Everyone should tune into that game.
I think that that man is do for you.
What? The TV station where they're they're giving you like some love to tune into a football game where you're tuning in to watch the Giants.
But also, I think the Steelers they're going to be crushed relating well meant to their offense is gonna be really interesting.
I think that their defense is going to dictate a blowout in that game.
But George Kittle went down with a nasty knee injury at half time.
I don't know that we have an update in full yet on the extent of the injury, we might have gotten something while we were broadcasting, but it looked bad.
It looked like a hyperextension.
They had him on the sideline with about a minute todo Niners had the ball near the red zone.
And you know he's baseball cap on already at that point, back on the sideline and ready to play.
Apparently, There you go.
Okay, so I guess the hyper extension is not that big of a deal.
It is something to monitor if this knee injury becomes something.
Ross to welly Jordan. Reality.
Those were guys to go get.
Jordan reads already been on the field, ready to catch today.
These are the guys that you know they'll be behind Kittel.
That tight end position is one worth investing in in the event of a Kittle injury.
And if we find out that Kittel is going to end up missing extended time, you should already be doing this.
If Deebo Samuel sitting on waivers in your leagues because he's on our air for the first three weeks, you should go grab them anyway if Kittel ends up missing extended time.
Deebo Samuel, in my opinion, is going to be a fantasy dynamite player for what you're going to end up utilizing match, which will be a wide receiver three with wide receiver, one upside every week.
So my advice there is just to go look and see if he's available and stash Deebo.
I think he's worth a top waiver claim right now if he's sitting there.
If Kettle is out, it is not out.
If he's on the details on your waiver wire because of injury right now, you could get him for nearly nothing.
Frankly, if he's on the waiver wild right now, you're in a league that doesn't pay a lot of attention on DSO.
You should be able to get him for pretty cheap.
Unless you're stacked already at the wide receiver position, you should probably go ahead and put him on the end of your bench.
Now, if killed does go down, the distribution of targets would change pretty radically.
You wouldn't have 25 26% going to the tight end anymore.
You go down to 18 or so and that's you.
And it lines and overlaps with Deebo.
Samuel coming back.
That man is going to be a game changer for a lot of people in the fantasy teams.
And I also think to on the Deebo Samuel Side if he's still sitting around and you have somebody like A J Green and your starting lineup or a Keenan Allen or some of these your number one wide receivers and people that tend to get injured, um, pick up Debo and hold him there because it couldn't have been eating something that save your team down the river.
How dare you besmirch my team and we'll see what happens with him in the second half year.
But we're gonna go back, and I went to the games.
Mike Williams had all sitting on the ground.
Hey, just took it off.
E took his pants or something.
Anyway, so this has been great.
We've got a couple of people in here right now.
It looks like we had another tip that came in Thanks.
