Let's get everything set up here.
Gonna share this out real quick before we get started.
Um, he wants to load that ISS.
Yeah. You? Mm hmm.
Gotta love slow Internet spikes.
Absolutely the best.
Get the shared out real quick, and then we can talk some football.
All right, let's get started real quick.
That is tweeted out.
All right, everybody, welcome in to the show.
My name is Kyle, and this is the slate.
It is a DFS show.
This is my third show.
So they're with me a little bit as I'm still working out the mechanics of everything.
But today we're going to be breaking down draftkings DFS wide receiver.
The $5 buy in for the first place.
So I covered quarterbacks and tight ends on Tuesday.
I covered running backs on Wednesday.
Today I'm gonna cover wide receivers and also just cause it's football on, it's fun.
I wanted to break down a little bit of the Thursday night game.
Um, you know, it's just so good to have football back because I continue to push this out real quick, but it's just so nice to have football back.
So let's just go ahead and start with the breakdown of last night.
Um, Patrick Mahomes.
We're gonna start with quarterbacks Patrick Mahomes.
He's gonna be a great DFS play, no matter what.
Unfortunately, is gonna be priced in with Lamar Jackson, where it's almost you have to decide when and where you wanna, you know, put your chips in.
Man, that offensive line looks really, really shaky yesterday.
That is something you're gonna have to watch.
I think by you saw by the 3rd 4th quarter that Kansas City New we can just rush him.
They're going to have to throw the ball and we can put so much pressure on him.
And they did all night.
Chris Jones highest paid defensive lineman for very good reason.
The guy is a monster.
So luckily, DeShaun Watson is a great escape artist.
He got out of the pocket of lots eso You saw that with the rushing touchdown yesterday.
He almost hit the over.
I think was like 29 a half was the over under for his Russian.
He got 27 so he's just always gonna have that safe floor of 2 to 3 points from rushing yards alone.
And then last night, he saved his night.
Had the interception still got to the rushing touchdown assed Faras running backs David Johnson.
He looked phenomenal, honestly, because he talking to some people about it yesterday and this morning.
I think it was definitely more of a scheme fit in Arizona, you know, maybe maybe he lost a step last year and he needed this offseason toe like motivate himself.
But he looked good.
He looked elusive.
He fits this zone at his own scheme.
That Arizona offense, the shotgun.
I don't think that worked well for him, so he ran a little bit out of the pistol.
Shawn Watts under center.
It looks smooth, and I think he could be sneaky for the rest of the year.
As long as this price stays down.
Clyde Edwards layer.
There are people cheering, and then there are people saying, Well, look at this.
Let's look at the positives.
He is the primary rushing back, and Darryl Williams was on therefore third downs, which almost seems backwards, right? Like Clyde Edwards, Layer was a really good pass catcher at LSE last year.
But then, that's the thing, right? If he's a good pass catcher, so eventually he's going to kind of come into his own on that role.
You know, I think had, like, 125 rushing yards.
Actually, the stats right here.
And if you watch the game last night where he got stuffed, right, like he got stuffed on the goal line on five different rush attempts where they're just trying to get him that last touchdown in the red zone and it didn't work and he still averaged 5.
5 yards per carry.
So even with those 12 negative rushing plays, he still had 5.
5 carries on 25 attempts.
I don't think he had any targets, maybe two targets.
They weren't very good.
Yeah, he had to targets for no catches.
So the fact that he was still able to produce such a high volume of 138 rushing yards and a touchdown and could have easily had to But the Texans new.
They're basically running the ball right there, so they just bloods to everybody So Clyde Edwards lair.
Really good Darryl Williams.
I just don't think he's efficient enough to be any type of famous E running back or definitely not a D EFS play at any point this season.
ID receivers Will Fuller is the most it's It's the one game in Week one on Thursday night.
Everybody's watching, but Will Fuller is so interesting.
I put out a tweet stating Look, I don't know if it's to Shawn Watson.
I don't know if it's the offense because they've been integrated together the entire time, right? But he hyper targets his wide receiver one.
Now this is off of DeAndre Hopkins entire or DeShaun Watson.
Entire roof, DeAndre Hopkins and one will Fuller Game is the wide receiver one.
But, I mean, if you look at what he was able to do, and I can't remember what I tweeted out.
But at the time, DeShaun Watson had 26 past attempts.
Wolf Fuller had nine targets.
Shawn Watson ended with 32 pass attempts.
Will Fuller into a 10 targets, so he's getting a high target share.
The next closest guys.
Brandon cooks with five.
Then you had David Johnson before kind of weird.
Randall Cobb only had three caught two passes of garbage time at the end.
So I think that you're gonna have a combination of the Shawn Watson is gonna pushing closer to 40 pass attempts a game and Wolf folders the wide receiver one.
So he may see 8 to 12 targets and that not being outlandish number, he could be a true wide receiver one.
And the crazy thing is, I don't know if any, pass outside of that 1 30 yard one or 31 yard reception that he had down the left sideline outside, which, if Shawn Watson will put that in front of him, that za like a touchdown like he has gone.
I remember where they were at, um, on the field.
But that's a 40 50 60 yard touchdown.
But he had pressure in his face.
I'm not gonna knock him for his great play by Wolf Older, but he had no D targets.
So you look at Will Fuller.
He could be a guy that easily ends is a wide receiver to could be flirting with that wide receiver 10 98 range.
And you could be very happy with that on then.
So like I said, Brandon cooks he was injured.
I'm not gonna follow him for that.
And then you look at the chief side.
Don't fall for the Sammy Watkins train just yet.
I kind of wish Sammy Watkins was playing the Sunday games like the Chiefs work so that you could put them in the DFS Millie maker because you almost know, like Sammy Watkins into Shawn Watson.
They're gonna Shawn Watson into Sean Jackson.
They're gonna come out and they're gonna probably put up monster numbers.
And of course, he had, you know, seven receptions, 82 yards and a touchdown, so kinda kind of interesting.
Travis Kelsey had a very quick game, six for 15 touchdown, but he caught that at the beginning of the game, and he was basically done after that on the Tyree kill.
If he doesn't catch that touchdown at the end, he was majorly disappointing.
But that's kind of like how DFS is with Tyree kill right and a fantasy in general.
It's the boom bust games.
You put him up with these great wide receivers.
He is so far inconsistent, but his number like his top in games.
If you were to take everyone's top eight games of the year at the end of the year.
That would make him the probably wide receiver one because he has these boom games and it's Patrick Mahomes.
You know he Patrick Mahomes, looking at the stats here, 24 for 32.
You know, that's I think that's what you can expect.
Faras completion percentage wise, he's gonna be in that 70 80% on almost regular basis.
So I think you just you take the swings.
You're a Michael Hardman fan and owner.
E had him in a couple spots last night where he just was, you know, my fourth flex option.
It sucks, but I think we can only go up from here, right? And that was a big DeMarcus Robinson fan is like If Sammy Watkins gets cut, this was last year, and DeMarcus Robinson comes in, which I thought he could.
Then he would be relevant.
But no, not for either of those guys.
DeMarcus Robinson has a weird history of like dropping passes so far as tight ends Travis Kelsey, Travis Kelsey, Jordan Atkins.
This is a guy you need to watch for.
I would pick him up in Dynasty.
Lee's is kind of like if you have the ability to throw him at the end of your bench and definitely watch out for DFS.
Maybe next week.
He was on the field, Ah, lot.
He's very athletic, you know.
Darren fills Jordan Atkins and then wearing I can't Kale wearing I can't every pronounce his name right? But, you know, there was a tight end available there, right? Like Darren Fellas was probably like a fringe tied in one, if not a tight in one last year because of touchdowns.
And then you had this competition committee and they brought down fellas back.
You weren't sure.
Let's watch him.
I'm gonna wait one more week to see what happens, but he could be relevant for D efs, and he'll probably be a cheap play.
So anyway, just kind of wanted to recap that let's go over some news about wide receivers right now, talking DFS because I got some guys that five wide receivers that I really like going into the Sunday matchup.
This is based on price based on matchup, kind of an overall view of things eso.
Let's go over the notes that I have here.
There was a lot of injury news that came out today.
Mike Evans will be a game time decision that is not good hamstring injury, the same as last year that ended his season short.
So I am bumping Chris Godwin and I have.
Chris Godman is one of my top favorite wide receivers of the week.
I was kind of waiting to see where this is going, but he's a game time decision, and I could make a really good case for why Chris Godwin is worth this price.
Deebo Samuel is out Sunday, so they were playing Arizona.
Brandon I Yuk is questionable.
I'm avoiding all the wide receivers.
I'm probably playing George Kittle because there's no one else there.
You can probably throw Kendrick born into Ah Flex, if you're if you're a 40 Niners fan or you think someone has to catch those touchdowns right? And it's probably gonna be Kendrick born because he had a couple of games last year where he was relevant and decently Well, uh, Kenny Golladay, he is doubtful he tweaked his hamstring.
The other news came out that he he just probably might not play. And another.
It's another reason why I'm in one of my top five wide receivers.
I'm also firing up Marvin Jones.
So it will be interesting there because if he doesn't play and they play a Chicago defense and their defense isn't very good in Detroit, you know they could be playing keep up.
If Mitt Stravinsky doesn't, you know, fall apart like he always does.
So, um, Denzel Memes, the rookie out of Baylor that was drafted to the New York Jets Hey, is out if you want to take a flyer on Perriman.
Unfortunately, Pyramids Price like 4900 kind of kind of pricey for me, and Crowder is priced just above him under 5200.
I remember the exact number, but, you know, I don't know if I want to play these guys.
If you're playing some high ceiling guys, maybe for some reason you're throwing Henry rugs out there because you just think he four to speed it and one long 60 yard bomb and you want ah, high say floor crowd will be good if Crowded catches a touchdown.
You know he'll probably end up with eight receptions in 60 yards throwing the touchdown.
He has a great game.
Um, this one's this one's interesting.
Another guy that I'm another teammate.
Jarvis Landry His.
He said his week one role could be game plan dependent, and I don't really know what that means because you're probably going to be behind and they're probably gonna want you out there on the field.
But that's just kind of talks about the severity you had that offseason hip surgery.
I don't know if this is the same injury.
He's kind of, you know, coming back from, uh, but I like Odell this week on.
You know, we will see what happens with Landry because I don't honestly don't know.
Maybe shot Higgins still played for the Browns.
I think that's probably who would be the number.
The number two option.
If if Landry something happens during warm ups and he's out Jalen rigor looks like he's gonna play.
That was very interesting.
I like to Sean Jackson, just like everybody else likes this on Jackson.
I still think just on Jackson is really good player prices in at 4900.
If anything, this helps the Jalen Raiders gonna play is he's still a rookie.
He still can't be dependent on him.
But at least it takes some of that coverage away from the Sean Jackson.
And so it'll be interesting to see I might throw him in a DFS lineup one or two right there.
Only one or two.
And then, uh, this you conduce what you want with this A. J.
Green is healthy.
I think he's gonna be good for fantasy.
I don't know if you'll be able to predict it.
Um, they have some, you know, if he Higgins can get past John Ross and all these guys on tape, you know, he always puts on really good, really good highlights that camp.
And then, you know, Tyler Boyd is there for the safety.
So we'll see what you know, John John Ross and these guys can do toe keep a J.
Green. You know, relevant.
I think I think a J.
Green could have a have a good week, but unfortunately play the Chargers and they have a very good secondary.
Even with Derwin James out, they still have a good secondary so that I'm not, you know, he's in that medium price range of like like it's worth.
It's like the price is fine.
If you believe that he still is who he is.
So all right, let's go into my top wide receiver is a guy I just talked about.
A second goes Chris Coughlin.
He is priced at 7100 and this would put him in, I think.
The wide receiver. Three.
So the wide receiver? Four.
Actually, he's behind Michael Thomas.
Julio Jones. Davante Adams.
I think I like him the most for his price.
When you're talking about these top 78 guys because you have to look at the upside right, so I'm gonna kind of break down.
Ah, little bit of why I'm into Chris Scotland.
You look at the over under for this game is 49 a half points.
It is projected to be a shootout.
And even if Mike Evans isn't playing, someone has to catch the ball, right? Kind of wish for short.
Perryman was still there because, you know, that would be the guys you're looking at you, Scotty Miller, like those guys to kind of step up if you look at last year, he had two games to the for the D F scoring of 40 or more points that that's the million.
That's the millionaire winner, right? You get that on your team.
There's a very good chance that you can have one person kind of flow out.
And you'll still cashing these games pretty well.
He had five games.
So including the two of 20 or more points, I think he had one game at 19.
So he gives you that upside at the wide receiver position.
He was the wide receiver number two overall in 2019 and then you're like, Well, you know Tom Brady.
You know what? What's it gonna look like? Tom Brady? Last year he was 15th in deep attempts and he was 10th and air yards.
So he was still pushing the ball down the field league average and then a little above league average and air yards.
But if he's doing that with Julian Edelman and who was it? Philip Door set? Was there.
You killed hair was hurt, Killed Harry was hurt most of the year.
Um, did they? I mean, they had Antonio Brown for like a game, and then the Josh Gordon played for them last year.
At any point, I can't even remember at this point like he had no one.
Gronk was retired like it was Ben Watson after he was suspended for the first four games.
So you look at the matchup.
The Saints have a very tough rushing defense like they are good on defense.
Even Marshall Lattimore, who will probably shadow Chris, gotten for most of the game.
But if we expect Chris got going to be in the slot, which is a very, you know, that's where he played last year.
That's why he was so great last year.
You wanna compare Edelman and Godwin? Edelman had 153 targets compared to just Chris Collins 121 100 receptions to 86 for Chris Coffin, 1117 to 1300.
Right? So that that's where we saw the yardage boost up in the six touchdowns to Chris Collins nine touchdowns.
But I think somewhere in the middle there is a wide receiver where if Mike Evans is hurt, or even if he's not, he's just a decoy.
We saw Mike Evans have an absolute goose egg last year that, you know Chris Godwin could be could be super relevant.
And then, you know, they're talking about the two too tight and set.
Well, if okay, Bruce Arians, it runs his system.
That's basically an air raid, right? He pushes the ball down the field and Chris Cotton was in the slot.
And Brady is doing his offense in New England and bring you down here.
And Edelman still put up these stats like, I don't understand the narrative of, well, too tight and sets Like, how? How much do you think these tight ends are gonna be on the field that is gonna put the best player on the field and Chris Godwin, best wide receiver out of his? What made him the best top to wide receiver last year? So I can't really see it in that aspect of, you know, make it make sense, right? Like he's going to be involved.
He's going to be relevant.
So, you know, I had in the same stuff running defense, you know, and I think this Tampa Bay Buccaneers have a really good run defense.
According to last year, they added some pieces to the defense for the secondary.
But you know, they could fall behind really quickly.
And then look, you're playing catch up with Chris Godwin in the slot.
That's gonna That's gonna do well, so I like his price.
Another guy from the injury news, Marvin Jones.
I really like him a lot.
5500 vs Chicago.
I've already kind of like leaning towards him, you know, prior to this news coming out, because I just think he's a really good price.
You know, if you look at if you choose the worst defense, which is the Washington football team and which is the price of 2000, you're looking at about 5800 per average.
So he's actually in a below average player.
So as far as price goes, so he's playing Chicago weeks one through nine last year, when Matthew Stafford was the quarterback, he was the wide receiver.
Okay, Kenny Golladay was the wide receiver 11.
So Matthew Stafford was supporting through nine weeks to top 14 wide receivers.
His biggest yards per reception games.
8 15.8 in the span.
That's good. Those were the upsides.
He's a big downfield threat.
Remember last year people were kind of disappointed because the year prior to that in 2018 he was catching these 50 50 balls.
It's just it's natural variants of football in life.
He was okay while Stafford was there, 2020.
Could bounce back the other way where he's coming down with these big catches, right? And then you're looking at him.
He's basically pacing Kenny Golladay step for step the entire year.
You know his biggest games, which is something we like to, you know, do in DFS for the upside, right? Like there's no point in playing these guys if there's no upside.
He had games of 43.
3 points, so Chris Godwin had two games and he had one.
He was right there, had a four touchdown game, But you're like, Oh, that's an outlier. That's fine.
He still had games of 29.
9 with, you know, just in nine games with Matthew Stafford.
So there's no Kenny Golladay.
Danny Amendola is a slot guy.
I like T J Hawkinson a little bit more for that touchdown because someone's gonna need to catch these passes.
And, you know, we saw last year that TJ Hawkinson He played very well.
We've won, you know, he heard a lot of people the rest of the year because they kept trusting that week one performance.
But, you know, you look at the Chicago defense, they're pretty good, but there's no running game in Detroit.
So when you're throwing the ball probably 43 times and your number one wide receiver is hurt, and so Marvin Jones becomes the number one wide receiver, you know he could have 11 12 targets.
And some of these targets are gonna be down the field.
And all he needs is just one.
That's it, right? Just one.
He's going to be there.
He's a he's a top 20 white corner corner in the in the NFL, and then they're probably gonna be shuffling between some backups and second round rookie Jaylin Johnson.
So if he ends up anywhere away from Fuller, you could be in a very good spot.
So my third wide receiver is Hollywood Brown, and it's more about the matchup than the history, right? So he came out last year.
So the blow mean price against Cleveland came out last year and had four receptions and weak one.
That's it for 147 yards and two touchdowns.
There's your upside.
Okay, that you check in the box, right? Does he have the upside check? There he goes.
And we two with 13 targets, eight receptions and 86 yards just didn't have the touchdown.
You know, one thing goes, you know, none other way.
You're looking at a touchdown, and that's another phenomenal game.
Right? Then he gets injured.
Then you know he has a couple of days of games where he has, like, you know, a couple targets isn't really relevant.
Then they have a bye week.
Then they go against New England.
One of the best defense is in the NFL is a really big game that week. I remember it.
He has three for 48 just a fine game in this case, kind of coming back.
But he he averaged 16 yards per reception, which is very good, and then that following week he had four for 80 averaging 20 yards per reception, and then he kind of gets reinjured during this time and kind of, you know, flails off for the rest of year.
My point is, though, is you've seen the upside where he averages, like 40 yards of reception and then multiple times throughout the year, 16 20 yards of reception.
I mean that. That's what you need.
When you're talking about these players that can put up the monster weeks, they're going against Cleveland.
I just looked up the defense for them.
Greedy Williams and Kevin Johnson are both out.
That's two of their corners that are gonna be missing Game one against Lamar Jackson and that running attack.
And I just think Hollywood Brown is gonna be in a lot of really good matchups.
They understand how bad their defense is right there.
You're there. Secondary.
He's on IR so that safety has gone to other corners.
They're gonna be gone, you know, they drafted the safe in the second round very early, the 12th overall pick.
They understand that their weakness is their secondary.
They have a decent patch for us, but you're not going to rush the passer when you're worried about stopping Lamar Jackson and Mark Ingram and Dobbins back there.
So I think you plug Hollywood and into those wide receiver three flecks options.
You know, into your DFS.
And you just hope for one big play.
And that's honestly all you need.
And then he'll get a couple targets here and there, sprinkled in.
I think I think it's really solid for them.
Really good, solid play.
Another guy like from that.
Same from that same game is Odell Beckham Jr.
He's 5900, so just above the average mean against Baltimore.
And so it's I'm basing that.
I'm basing this on talent, right? You look at what field? Yates? You know, reception perception.
If you have ever looked through it, it basically grades a wide receiver whole metrics based on just them taking away the quarterback.
What can this wide receiver do? And Odell Beckham has always scored in the top percentile of routes on every route run.
Okay, he is just a phenomenal wide receiver.
Well, last year, you know, at the end of year he came out and said, Look, I had a sports hernia injury.
I played through it.
Now I'm healthy and the reception perception showed it like he was injured.
He was not the same wide receiver.
It's a really bad matchup for the entire Brown's team.
You know, Kevin stuff Fancy comes over trying to run that same Minnesota offense that they ran last year.
I don't like this game for Nick Chubb at all.
Their front seven.
It's solid there.
They were decent run stoppers, but they had no pass rush.
And then they bring in Derek Wolfe, who was a decent pass rusher from the Broncos but is a really good run stopper.
And then they bring in colas.
Campbell, who, you know, if you remember two years ago was like defense player of the year type guy, like was pushing the sack limit for a defense to tackle like Aaron Donald.
Good, like that's where he was at for those, you know, 12 years in Jacksonville.
So they add those guys and then Earl Thomas, you know, does his thing gets cut from the team.
And you know, the half Chuck Clark.
I like Chuck Clark a lot, especially, you know, for I d p leaks.
You know, he's a personal favorite of mine.
But then they're gonna be shuffling through two rookies back there to figure out who's playing that second one.
They have, um, Marcus Peters.
If you remember Kansas City, then with the Rams, he makes plays.
He also makes a lot of mistakes trying to make those plays.
And then you have Marlon Humphrey there as well.
So all it takes is if you know Peters is on him, he tries to jump around.
So does a phenomenal route runner, and he takes it the other way. I mean, you could see it.
You know, we've seen the Antonio Brown Odell Beckham's takes the slant, the corner, you know, misjudged it, and he's gone for a 40 yard touchdown.
That's very easy in the in that range of outcomes for Odell Beckham.
You know, I just think the price for that talent and weak one of DFS is way too good like 5900.
You're looking at Julio Jones at 7700 Adam feeling at 6700.
You know these talk, you know, wide receivers that we project to have good weeks.
It could easily be Odell Beckham.
I mean, Odell Beckham's behind Tyler Boyd.
Would you rather play Tyler board at 6100 with a J.
Green back? Or would you rather play Odell Beckham at 5900, where Jarvis Lanes.
You probably won't even be there, and you could say, Yeah, there's even So you focus on Odell.
Well, that's basically been Odell's entire career, and it never stopped them.
The last wide receiver I want to talk about is D.
Metcalf, and I really got to give my man Jeff from gridiron ratings a shout out here because, you know, he kind of put I was more on Tyler Lockett.
But I think the more for DFS and what I'm looking for and what we're looking for, it's really became a cap.
He's pricing at 5800 against Atlanta.
So right there about that average Atlanta's defense is really, really, really, really, really bad.
They're really bad, so so bad.
This is going to be a shoot up.
This is one of the highest over unders of Sunday's 49 points they lost of Andre Campbell at linebacker Quiano Neil, who will hopefully come back this year.
He's been injured the last two years.
They lost Desmond Trufant.
I did add another corner, but Desmond Trufant was kind of like that guy for a little bit.
I just don't see you know, they have a cargo Alan back They're playing, you know, strong safety.
It's just really hard to see how this defense is going to contain anything.
And if it I really think they're gonna be focused more on the run, you know it's Russell Wilson. You can.
You try to contain Russell Wilson as much as you can, but D.
Metcalf like, just watch the combine Watch the workouts, you know, Go look at the pictures that he posted last year where he's standing next to A J.
Brown and we all love a J.
He's making a J.
Brown like tiny like Do you get back? It was just a big, beastly man, and he is really, really good.
So you look at his yard to reception.
Last year is top games 22.
He had a couple of games in there.
We had some high targets early on, he was very inconsistent, but in Week 17 he had 12 targets, then Week 18 which is the first round of the playoffs.
If you look at the DFS lineup, he had nine targets against the Eagles, okay? He was getting Mawr involved later on, and I just remember this play against the Eagles were there in the red zone and they just kind of toss it up to him.
And he just looks good, man, like he makes plays.
He's super fast.
He's a lot more agile than the three Cone would suggest.
Or whatever you want to do with that, Um, interpretation.
I just think you look a D.
Metcalf versus Tyler Lockett, and the defense should be focused on Tyler Lockett and I love Tyler Lockett.
I think he's a great player, but I'm gonna go with D K.
Metcalf outmuscling this entire offense, our entire defense and kind of hoping they let rest Cook like, hopefully they decided that Russell Wilson is like a top.
I think Russell Wilson, like a top three quarterback in the league, I think he is super talented, super smart.
He's just a tier above, you know, the the average quarterbacks, the stats he puts up his, you know, touchdown percentage.
I think he is just phenomenal and hopefully we get to a shootout and they have to let Russell Wilson throw a little bit.
So thank you guys for joining me today.
I'm gonna talk a little bit more about some of the wide receivers on their pricing, kinda who I like real quick, but to kind of go over who was talking about for my top five wide receivers that I'm really liking for DFS.
For Draftkings Sunday, Million maker $5 buy in first place is a million dollars.
Hopefully, one of us gets that million.
You got Chris God when it's 7100, Marvin Jones at 5500 against Chicago, then you have Hollywood Brown against Cleveland for 5100, and I think it's just such a good price for the upside.
Odell Beckham at 5900 versus Baltimore.
I think that's worth the risk and then became a cap against Atlanta.
So I have some of these more.
I haven't pulled up over here.
I'm really, um, falling.
Once again, I am really falling for Stefon Diggs like the more I watch the camp highlights and I know you shouldn't fall for the camp highlights.
But the more I watched and the more I kind of go over last year and what he was able to do in Minnesota, Stefan Days is just really good.
I just He's just a really, like, as far as, like, top talent and like route running and playmaking like he's, you know, he's in the top percentile of the NFL, and I see what Josh Allen did last year with John Brown, and I don't think anyone really remembers.
But, like John Brown was very consistent last year.
I'm pulling up his game logs right now, and I can't see the week on.
But from week to on, he had.
This is from Draftkings last year, so the same.
Scoring 14 9 11 12 1910 11 12 37 in a big week, 11 10 5 was bad.
Very solid numbers.
But I would put Stefon Diggs on a tier level above John Brown.
I like John Brown.
I think he's a fine player. He's a good complement.
But Stefon Diggs is on a whole another level, and I think you see you if you were when you think of Stefon Diggs.
You think of the deep throws from Kurt Cousins or that Saints playoff game, and he's pricing at 6100.
They're going against the Jets.
It's a low over under.
I think 37 a half is the over under for the Jets Bills game.
I don't like playing those, but for the matchup and the talent, because they have no one there on defense.
I think I think it's well worth the risk on then one other guy kind of look through here, see if there's anyone that's kind of popping off the page.
Um, I really wish Deebo Samuel was playing this week because he's pricing at 5300.
That would be a phenomenal, phenomenal matchup against Arizona.
Yeah, so you see Chardon little further down like Russell.
If you're needing, like fill in on these lower level guys like Russell Gauge at 4300.
Not a terrible play I mentioned earlier how Jalen Raiders probably gonna play.
He's pricing at 4300, like I don't love these guys, but if you're if you're in love with your positions, you know the other wide receivers and you paid up at tight end or quarterback somewhere like like these air. Fine.
You got Brian Edwards against Carolina, I'd like I think I will probably play every running back against Carolina.
I'll probably Sprinkle in a wide receiver this year to like whoever's playing.
It's Carolina like that rush.
That defense is very, very bad.
And that offense is talented enough that they could be in some shootouts.
Um, so I could I could see it very much that Brian Edwards, you know, or Henry rugs.
One of them could have a phenomenal game.
It's just trying to guess which rookie you're willing to bank on aan den, something else to kind of keep an eye on.
And this is Mawr of the the super boom bust.
Play like you're needing achy, biased Raekwon Smith, and he's pricing at 4000, which is kind of like the lowest little gofer like fringe starters like Antonio Gibson's.
Priced at 4000 before the news came out, that he'd be on the field a lot.
Trick one. Smith.
He had a lot of camp hype with, you know, Sean Payton and Drew Brees, and like he's really developing, he's really doing well, and like Drew Brees has a history outside of the track on Smith years recently, last two years of supporting a wide receiver to he can do it and it's gonna be a very pass happy offense.
And I think we're gonna see Drew Brees try to break some records this year.
And if you remember the Ted Ginn years, Emmanuel Sanders isn't gonna beat anybody deep Ted Ginn.
You know, if he if he caught every deep pass that was thrown to him, that was the problem was dropped the tray.
Kwan Smith catches a couple of deep bombs this year.
You know it's gonna be When do you start them? And I think this game against Tampa Bay, like if you're willing to take the risk and you like I said, You like your lineup and you need that 4000 by That's where it is.
It's guys with track. Juan Smith.
You need the speech.
There's the high upsides.
Like you look at some of the guys down here like Valdas canceling like I'm not paying 4100 on on that upside because you don't you don't know what it is, but I think what trick one.
You can kind of see it in the speech because last year, weeks, seven weeks, 17 against Carolina he had 16 points, 5 56 in a touchdown.
So, like at least he gives you like Okay, we've seen it once or twice before and it's a great offense.
Compared Toa, you know, NVs.
Even if you wanted the like, watch the camp pipe on John Ross, you know, kind of check that out.
I know he had some covert problems early in the year.
He, like left camp, had to come back.
But, you know, the first couple of weeks he had 37 points week 1 24 in Week two.
A couple of bad games was injured for a long time, then kind of came back.
At the end of the year.
It had six for 84.
He didn't have a touchdown. He scores a touchdown.
He's having a phenomenal game right there with over 20 points so that I mean, when you're when you're this low and you're looking at the 4000, you're looking for that four X was you know they call like 4.
5 or four X if you're spending 4000, you wanna at least four times that amount.
So 16 points from a player.
And, you know, you look at these guys like Zach Pascal, like not going to get that, um, you know, were shot Higgins.
Even if Jarvis Landry is out like, he's not gonna get you 16 points some and then you have another guy down here that I like is to kill Harry 4400.
Someone has to catch those touchdowns from can do.
And I think Cam Newton's back.
I think he's gonna be phenomenal this year.
I'm really hoping I don't really like the Patriots is like organization, but I'm a fan of can do and I'm a fan, you know, guys that do it differently.
And if you kill Harry decides that he wants to be the Kelvin Benjamin that was supported by Cam Newton and cop touchdowns.
Then that's who you know he has to latch on to somebody, and I don't think anyone is gonna take that role.
So all right, I wanna thank everybody for coming in and checking out hanging out with me.
It's only my third broadcast.
I'm learning and appreciate everyone's sticking around.
You can follow me on Twitter at Fantasy Reserve.
You can follow the page at gridiron Ratings.
Eso I appreciate it.
I'll be doing these a couple of days that we usually a little later in the day.
I decided to hop on early for go out on a date night with the wife.
But tomorrow I will be on hopefully with one of my gridiron ratings guys.
And we will kind of do some we're working on trying to do some DFS builders.
And so what kind of create some lineups here with you? Hopefully, that's what we can do.
And then we can kind of go through our thought processes of like Okay, well, if we're pricing at this point, you know, and then we'll also do some to proposition like the locks.
And I can already tell you right now I am locking in Josh Jacobs, Josh Jacobs against Carolina.
You know, let me pull up his price real quick and no, I'm probably talk about a lot tomorrow, but he is priced in at the two for the running back six, and it's on Lee 6800 against Carolina.
I can't think of any running back.
Maybe I like Erin Jones a lot at 6900, 1 above them, But he's the guy that I've seen the rushing upside.
I know the passing upside is coming and it's a It's a freaking great matchup.
So just kinda wanted to get that out there because I feel like I really need to start, you know, as I'm going through and doing the research and getting my mind right for DFS.
I want to share this with you guys.
And so Josh Jacobs is definitely a guy that I would I think I have him, you know, I put in 20 lineups for week one.
I think I have him in, like, 10 which is a lot when you're looking at the variance of Global.
I just think he's gonna be, ah, winner.
So, um yeah, so falling on Twitter at Fantasy Reserve and I will see you guys tomorrow.
Thank you so much for tuning in
