Here's the deal.
We're here with a special market punk Sports update US Open final rounds coming up.
We've got the semifinals on the men's side and the women's final, and we're here for a pick here.
Bet slip s that.
You could take this into your weekend.
I hope you're doing well wherever you are.
Tennis has been excited.
Uh, we're just coming off wild semifinal match between Azarenka and Williams.
Williams took the first set, Um, with a commanding uh 61 victory before Azarenka then came back in the next two sets.
Williams just was not conditioned well enough.
And now we're looking at the women's final and the men's semifinal.
So let's break it down for you and give you this structure play.
I love this play.
Um, as always, disclaimer disclaimer.
These things are risky, but I really love this play.
I don't only love this play because of the actual breakdown of picks, but the payout is exceptional.
Now this is a combination place, so just to review, all of these plays must come through in order for this to be successful play.
But let's break it down and see what we've got here.
Alright, so here's the ticket.
The ticket is Let's start off with the top.
We have the men's semifinal.
The first one Um Carreno Busta against Alexander Zverev.
Thes to have played last time they played, I think was back in 18 2000 and 18 and is very of one pretty easily straight ***.
Um, Zverev is the better player here.
And let's be honest, Okay? Carino Busta would not be here if it were not for a certain person smashing his ball at a lineman's neck.
Okay, remember, two rounds back, um, we saw, uh, um Djokovic having a mental breakdown and getting tossed from the tournament that was against Busta.
And at that point, Busta just hadn't even completed the first set or the first set.
I don't know where we're at the first set boost.
I was able to advance.
He would not be here.
Um, most likely had that match played out to fruition.
Eso he's He's on borrowed time here.
He did, uh, just defeat the Canadian shop of Aleve.
Um, in the quarterfinals on git was it was it was a grueling, um, five center.
It was a grueling five center and so And in the fourth set, he he lost love six aan den managed toe to find his way back.
So he's probably exhausted.
But I think that now he's going up against a very, very capable Zverev on DSO we have Zverev to win the match.
Okay, if you look at the odds on this one if you were just taking this one, you could see how favored Zverev is.
He's you're risking $278 to 100 if you were just taking this straight up So this should be the easy play of the ticket.
Okay? This should be the easy play of the ticket.
But that is the story there.
So the first leg of this is Zverev to beat Carreno.
Okay, The second leg is the other men's semifinal.
This is gonna be the match toe watch.
This theoretically could be the final, um, these air, the two best players.
Um, in my opinion, Medvedev and team, um I think they're also the two best players by rank.
Um and this is going to be a match now.
These two have played three times.
They've played three times.
Team does have the lead to 21 But Medvedev has the most recent victory.
Okay, on DSO Uh, that is something to pay attention to Medvedev.
As faras talent goes, definitely capable, Definitely capable of taking team down.
We just said that he beat him the last match up and he is a talented, uh, tennis player.
There is nothing to talk about, however, however evident by the way also just so you know, has not dropped a set in the U.
Open has not dropped a set in the U. S. Open.
Another very strong point for Medvedev team has basically done the same thing.
I think he dropped in one set, but, um, that's where we're headed now.
I think that team is, um is if you look at the two of them over the past year, um, coronavirus obviously has been a big cloud over everything, but, um e think teams established himself as the best player in the world.
Andi, I don't think anybody works harder right now.
Andi, um he is mentally, um just I believe a lot tougher on dso.
I think that Medvedev coming in here is going to have ah very, very difficult time.
And if you've watched Medvedev in the past, when he is faced with adversity, obviously he's come out on top a lot.
But when he is faced with intense adversity, he does have a tendency to get in his own head a little bit, whereas team eyes, a bit of a grinder, kind of like in the same way.
Um, you would talk about in a dull um And so I think that, you know, teams the better player.
And I think that he's gonna also have a bit of a chip from the last match up.
And so you could see it's even odds here on this matchup.
But I like Team Thio win this match.
Okay, so that's the second leg of this place.
So right now, first leg, we have Vera WTO win and then second leg is team toe win.
Okay, The third leg of this is the women's final.
Open Azarenka playing Osaka.
Um you know Osaka's Ah, phenomenal player and she's just rolled through to the final.
Um, Azarenka, though I'm going to give this to her.
Azarenka is just playing beautiful, beautiful, powerful, very kind of precise tennis.
Andi she's enjoying it.
And, you know, people are gonna talk about the fact that Azarenka comes into this.
Um, after taking down Serena, Andi, she played again.
It's not about taking down Serena.
It's about losing the first set and then coming back and mentally being ableto overcome that.
And when the next two sets.
And there were some grueling points, um, in the second set that she had to kind of get through before finally breaking Serena.
And so mentally, I think Azarenka is in a very good position and certainly talented enough to, um, take down Osaka.
Okay, s so I think that when we look at this thing, um I do like I do like Azarenka here.
Historically, if we're to look at this thing, let's take a look at things historically here and look up the match up.
I just want to review it because I forget exactly where the matchup stand.
So let's just pull that up.
Um, when these two go head to head on Dhere it is.
So just let me pull that up.
Um, just to review, okay? Historically thes to have played four times and they've split 2 to 2.
Azarenka has the last win and the last one was just a few weeks back in Cincinnati.
Azarenka won, although that was withdrawal.
So that doesn't count.
But historically, let's not count that Osaka has ah lead 2 to 1.
She's won the last two, but the last two that they played have been on clay.
That was in 2019.
2018 were to go back all the way to 2016 when Azarenka had an easy time taking down Osaka 6161 That was at the Australian Open in 2016.
So last time they played it a major, a za rank of one.
Now, as far as age, Um, you know the advantage here definitely goes to Osaka, who is 22 years old against a Zorica who's 31 but 31 years old.
Today's world is definitely not a place where you're heading downhill.
So arguably as a rank up in the best conditioning of her life.
Um and she's on form.
I mean, she looks incredible on DSO Uh, this is going to be the toughest of the three.
Um, Azarenka is an underdog in this matchup.
You're risking 100 to 137 if you're taking this straight up.
Um but we're not.
We're taking Azarenka toe win.
This would be an upset.
Um, but again, it's It's an upset.
That feels very good when you look at what Azarenka has done.
What I was saying before is not only are we talking about Azarenka, people gonna talk about her beating Serena, but in the previous round, she dismantled, annihilated Martin's Andi.
And the reason why I say that is because Mertens was coming off a matchup where she had just tourney apart.
Sofia Kenin Andi Kennan is no slouch.
Eso Mertens coming into that matchup looked phenomenal.
And yet Azarenka just kind of just just tor her up and just brushed her aside like nothing.
I mean, it was a 616 love win.
I think eso lets you know, not forget about that.
Okay, so that's the story.
That's your ticket we have again.
Here's the combination play.
All three have to come in.
We're taking Zverev toe win.
We're taking team toe win and we're taking Azarenka toe win.
Ondo Um Azarenka's win will secure her theme.
The championship at the us Open and that will be fun to see.
And, you know, we're looking at a men's final.
That will be, um, team Going up against Zverev, which should be exciting to is very, is also a very exciting player.
Eso you have it again? Zverev to win team to win Azarenka toe win.
And here is the most exciting part from a risk reward standpoint with this play.
I know, I know it Z, all three have to come in but sounds pretty compelling.
And, you know, if you're just gonna take one match up, it's gonna be a toss up.
Why not take these three on get paid? Risking 100 to win $545 for every 100 you risk you win $545.
It's crazy when you think about it because you say okay, sheriff should win.
So now we're looking at two matchups team toe win to be Medvedev.
Yeah, and so we're just looking at it as a rank Osaka, basically risking 125 45 kind of like that.
So that's how I'm thinking about it.
But, you know, it is a risky ticket.
Don't know what's gonna happen, but you're risking 100 toe win.
We're talking about getting up to 6 to 1 odds on what is, um if you break these down pretty cool, each one on Very compelling.
So that's it? That's your special special update for this weekend.
We'll be back again.
Maybe this weekend, because we've got some football to talk about.
Two NFL football.
That'll be cool.
Probably put some tickets together there.
Alright, everybody wishing you a good one.
And, uh, we'll see you back on again soon.
