And welcome back in here on SportsCastr.
Sorry about that.
I don't know why my stream abruptly ended.
I might have lost Internet.
Not sure, but I'm back up and running here, covering both Lakers Rockets, Game four in the Western Conference semifinals of the MBA playoffs and Game three of the Golden Knights and the Stars in the Western Conference final over in the NHL playoffs.
So I'll pick up the action here with 14 30 to go in the second period between the Knights and the stars.
Still no score between these two sides.
11 The Siri's tied and Stephenson fed it back and the drive from stone off the crossbar and out of play.
Wow, what an opportunity there for Mark Stone of the Vegas Golden Knights.
It all came from a steel in the neutral zone by Stone.
Stevenson laid it back.
Stone had a drive, and that shot not too far off ringing the crossbar, and Khudobin might have actually got a touch to it.
14 16 left in the middle period of game number three.
One by Vegas, Stevenson takes to the right point and will now swinging in behind gets by the stick of Khudobin and now Max patch already to the far side Nicholas Wa behind the goal, met by Alexey Jack.
And now the stars in possession flicked the head and here comes Wah Wah leaves it.
Here is Paul Stats Knee, so you know it.
And then Schmidt, captain at the left point in this shot, fired wide that's already took a spill back up to his skates.
And now to the right point with Theodore Theodore's pass is intercepted in the slot, and now the Dallas Stars the other way, all the way deep into the Vegas zone.
Theodore's there for the nights, and it's turned over.
The shot from the left circle is denied as letter makes the save the stars of the golden opportunity to take the lead.
It was Yeah, well, keep your aunt with the opportunity, but still scoreless in Game three of this one.
All right, I'll get you back out.
Two Lakers Rockets, where the Lakers currently lead by 16 92 74.
The fourth quarter just underway.
Down in Orlando here is LeBron James.
He finds Markieff Morris, um offensive foul called against Los Angeles, Austin Rivers hitting a three in the last possession for Houston.
Let's see what Westbrook does here.
He gets by Caruso and lays it in with the left hand.
Just like that, It's a 14 point game, the Rockets trying to get a run here, going in the early stages of the fourth quarter.
Now it's Rondo for the Lakers.
He finds James LeBron James guarded by Jeff Green.
James with the drive.
No good rebound.
Corralled by Westbrook.
Westbrook splits through the defense, nearly lost it, instead.
Gets it to the corner. Jeff Green.
No good, Thank you, Derek for joining the broadcast.
I appreciate it.
Now it's Rondo for the Lakers.
9 48 left in regulation, Lakers by 14.
You'll get it up to the hands of LeBron James.
James will swing it to the left wing Rhonda, the three good Rajon Rondo.
It's with a huge three to quiet down any type of momentum that the Rockets were generating.
Rondo has nine points, eight rebounds, six assists.
Rivers tries toe kick it outta steel by James behind the back move, but he's called for a double dribble.
Or is it? What or was there a foul committed first? That is the question here.
Did Westwood commit the foul before the Oh yeah, that was obvious.
Double dribble on LeBron James.
But the foul was committed beforehand, according to referees.
So LeBron James locks out there and now the ball in his hands.
He's guarded by Eric Gordon James into the lane, and Davis rattles it home on the pull up.
Mike D'Antoni, furious with the official he calls a time out.
He is not happy whatsoever right now.
Called by him 908 to go in the fourth.
It's the Lakers 95 the Rockets 76 year on SportsCastr in Game four of the Western Conference semifinals.
All right, let's get back out to Stars nights where Tomas Nosek has actually headed to the Vegas locker room.
I'll keep you updated on that injury sustained by Nosek, who scored in Game two.
We'll keep an eye on that, see if he'll be able to return 12 40 left in the second period.
Battle for the puck on the far side eventually moved out to center.
Now White Cloud will send it in deep.
Khudobin controls behind the Dallas school.
Now Oleksiak bumped by rally Smith.
It's turned over at center ice deep into the Dallas zone.
It goes Carlson chasing it down.
Klingberg there first.
Now it's elevated through center, controlled by ****inson chickens and off the end boards and McNabb around the far side.
Dallas, You could argue, have been the better team so far in the first eight minutes of the second period after Vegas had the majority of the chances in the first.
Here is Alex stuck trying to get it through the Chandler Stephenson couldn't do so right back to him.
Max Patch already tried toe center it, but Klingberg able to block it now back out of that point, played across and the shot is blocked.
Nicely done there as this one's given away Nate Schmidt in the high slot in a shot through traffic, say, made by Khudobin what I saved their the Vegas Golden Knights have had in the Dallas zone for half a minute.
It finally exits into the neutral zone, but the nights look to bring it back in stone.
Now to Stephenson Stephenson crossed lies to the right wing, and now this is put on a platter.
But Stones Drive is covered by Khudobin, who makes the save and holds on with 11 10 left in the middle period.
Yeah, but ESPN Mark blocked a shot from Nate Schmidt a little while ago for the Stars, and that definitely doesn't feel too good, but might most definitely will have a bruise for that line.
That was the sixth block shots of the playoffs, by the way.
So you and Mark not unfamiliar toe making big defensive plays like he just did second period shots, actually, 95 Dallas.
As I was saying, the Stars probably have been the better team in the second period, despite Vegas overall through the first two periods out shooting Dallas, 17 13.
It's much more lopsided, though.
Shots on goal at the end of one, that's for sure.
Here's Patch already back for Theodore.
Theodore in behind gets it all the way around the Nicholas Wa battle for the puck.
You know, it's a center.
It goes Vegas back with it.
Alec Martinez sends it to the corner, and there is Jamie Oleksiak.
Jamie Benn, with space toe work with, then sends the puck to the corner.
Gradual obs there.
Sagan, now spun around by Nick Holden.
Thank you, Mary, for joining the broadcast.
I appreciate it.
Cross ice. Pass the shot wide.
And now Sagan, rather agile of Excuse Me, collects along the end boards, gradual off to the left point, now off the skate of Klingberg, kept in by hints and sends it in deep, some tired legs out there for Vegas, as Dallas have had in the NYT zone for over half a minute.
Now shot through traffic, deflects wide and trying to get a stick to that one was Andrew Cog Giuliano.
But the nights able to clear at last after 40 seconds? Uh huh.
Time for the stars, this puck elevator all the way through Senate.
We're past the midway mark, a period to in Game three of the Western Conference final.
Marcia So cross ice broken up by Esa Lendell Wendell.
Indirect paths chased down by rope hints Marshall.
So now, with the puck all the way through it goes, and now margin.
So with another chance.
And Khudobin makes the save yet again.
Opportunities at both ends of the ice, but no goals yet Jonathan Marcia, so with a great opportunity.
But Khudobin covers up to make the save and so passed the midway mark of regulation time.
It remains 00 from Edmondson.
All right, let's get back to the Lakers Rockets for the moment.
Where the Lakers currently lead the Rockets by a score of 97 to 76 with eight to go in the fourth quarter, Rondo will find Davis.
Davis gets up for it.
And now the fadeaway got it.
You got it over James Harden and now the Lakers taking off up by 23.
Davis having himself a night.
Nine of 15 shooting, 11 rebounds.
Hard collision Underneath.
Ah, foul on LeBron James.
Count the basket from Russell Westbrook.
Let's see the replay.
Yeah, no doubt about it.
It's a great job by Westbrook on the pump fake.
That's what made LeBron James commit.
Thanks for the follow Mary.
Much. Appreciate it.
We've got a time out on the floor, 99 78.
It's a 21 point lead for the Lakers and a coach's challenge from Frank Vogel.
We'll see if the challenge succeeds.
I'll check back on that in a moment But let's get over to the Stars Nights once again share currently still a commercial break, but when I return back out to Edmonton Stars nights, no score in Game three of the Western Conference final.
Don't go anywhere, and actually, they're returning from break right now, so I'll keep it here.
I'll stay right here. Folks.
9 11 left in the second period, both teams still searching for the opening goal of the game.
Making his second trip to the conference final as a head coach.
The last time he did it, 1992 when he was that coach of the Boston Bruins, it's been a wild to say the least.
Centering pass picked up Byronic Fox.
A Fox is now leading the counter for the Stars.
Alexey act now with the puck.
Yeah, here comes Komo.
KOMO is passed through the ****inson ****inson to the corner and the pass off the mark he was trying toe find Klingberg in the hot.
Or rather, it was high skin in the high slot.
But the pass off target.
So the stars have to reset a big and delivered a steal by tuck.
And now a chance for Stone, and it's fired wide.
Carlson rather than a shot.
And now Stone trying to track this **** down.
Now it's the stars with possession be brought up by Miro.
Hey, Skin, and he's gonna throw up the right side.
That puck blocked off.
Now it's Vegas cross ice.
It goes into the stick of Alec Martinez Martinez blocked off by Hey skin and 7 42 left in the second period.
John Mark lost his stick because it's broken.
And now it's a shot through traffic, say, made by Anton Khudobin.
And now Dallas, able to clear all the way down.
It goes to the Vegas zone.
It'll be retrieved by Brady McNabb.
Thanks for joining the Stream, Hector.
I appreciate it now.
It's in the Dallas zone years.
Nicholas wa Well, can you get it through the McNabb, but picked off by ropa hints.
Hence this past blocked off, and now the nights looking toe take advantage the other way.
This puck elevated and picked off by the starts its Rachael AV in the neutral zone and hence will send it on towards Leonard, who steers it aside now a battle Ford along the end boards It's Nick Holden who comes away with it, and now we got a penalty coming up with 6 39 to go in the period.
Let's see the replay here, the spot who the penalty is going to be on.
Well, they're not quite showing the replay right now, but there was a penalty called I don't know.
No, no penalty. Sorry.
I thought that was a signal for a penalty.
Apparently, it was just offsides.
So no penalty on the play.
I take that back.
My bad 6 39 left in the period.
The face off, one by the stars here is Blake Como in the corner of the Stars had put up quite the fight here in the second period.
After a first period in which the nights were clearly the better team.
Same cannot be said for the second period.
Now it's to the corner with Blake Comeau Como tied up takes a big hit.
Jenkinson comes in to help out now a jam here, as both teams try to pry it loose up against the boards, the puck stationary, the referees let them play on, and now it's finally kept alive by the stars here.
White Cloud, Indirect Pass off the boards.
Get it out of there.
That end. And now it's back in the possession of Dallas.
White Cloud and holding have been out there for Ah, very long shift.
White Cloud. A minute.
10 seconds Holding has been out there for a minute and a half shot by Marshall.
So missed the net.
The other way here is Doriana.
He'll go for Gold Hunter with the same Hey skin and tried to keep it alive, but it's blocked off and moved ahead by rally Smith Smith into the offensive zone.
He'll feed it down low.
And now, Marshal's Cell pressured by Alexey Jack Vegas Still with the puck.
This will be dropped off to Schmidt.
Schmidt fires it wide, and now hey, skinning up the boards and out into center ice.
That's gotta stick to that pass.
But still, the Knights able to hold on indirect feed, collected here by well carrying now behind the Dallas skull.
He'll send it to the right point.
Paul Stats Knee had it but Dallas, with the steal 4 35 left in the second period across sites forsaken Sagan, the drive letter turn to the side again.
Both goalies have been unstoppable thus far.
It was an 80 mile an hour shot from Tyler Sagan.
Shots on goal, 1915 Vegas in the night zone, and Sagan works it in behind the goal.
Sagan feeds it in front.
That puck took a deflection in the air and snagged violin or a collision out in front as a gradual off took a fall but is back to his skates.
A little scrum afterwards, both teams getting into it.
Plenty of physicality, Plenty of opportunities.
It's the Western Conference final late stages in period number two.
I'll get you back out to the action in that one shortly, but when I come back its fourth quarter action between the Lakers and the Rockets stay tuned for that.
It's on the way.
After this quick break, folks, it's the MBA playoffs and the NHL playoffs right here on SportsCastr Hope you're enjoying Welcome back in everybody 5 30 remains in regulation time of Game four between the L A Lakers and the Houston Rockets.
Lakers Lead it by 15.
The Rockets trying Thio close in on that Lakers lead.
They're running out of time to do so, but still some hope.
LeBron double team.
Westbrook of the steel ahead to James Harden.
Harden the drive, fouled from behind, and he'll head to the line.
So suddenly Houston, with some life here, if both free throws are converted, it would then become a 13 point game.
The Rockets just not quite done yet.
They know how important this game is, as they concern simply, just not afford to go down 31 especially against a team like the Lakers.
James Harden, in the fourth quarter in the regular season, average 8.
7 points in the first round against O K C average six points and so far in the second round against the Lakers, or just average five points.
So his fourth quarter performances have declined.
You know, points wise, from the regular season to the first round of the playoffs.
To this round, you cannot make the second free throw, so it's a 14 point Lakers lead.
101 87 5 10 remains.
Here is LeBron James for the Lakers, except by Caldwell, Pope James to the left wing, guarded by Austin Rivers, LeBron James fade away shot no good James Harden with the rebound.
And now the Rockets with a chance to push.
James Harden finds Westbrook.
Westbrook kicks it out.
The three gets by.
Kuzma tries to lay it in, but no good on the effort.
Now it's Rajon Rondo.
Rondo, the Kyle Kuzma Kuzma lobs it up for Davis.
Tucker prevented him from getting there.
So a foul called P.
Tucker, quite frankly, had no choice on that play.
That was actually a smart foul to take for P.
Tucker because Davis had he not been pulled back by Tucker, would have been high flying in the air with for the slam dunk.
Here is LeBron James for the Lakers.
With the lay up, he got it.
One of 3 87 Lakers lead it by 16 points.
LeBron James 14 points, 12 rebounds, eight assists.
He's two assists away from a triple double James Harden step back and fix the three Westbrook back to Harden.
Harden in the lane to the corner of Tucker Tucker can't get the mid range floater, and now the Lakers, with some time to tick off the clock.
They lead it by 16 with under four to go.
Rondo finds LeBron James James with four on the shot clock, fumbles it and tries toe win it, win the loose ball on the floor, and that shot clock runs out.
So a turnover for the Lakers look at the upcoming MBA playoff schedule.
Sleep tomorrow, 6 30 Eastern time.
Game five of the West semis between the Nuggets and the Clippers.
Then at nine in the night cap, it's Game seven of the Eastern semis between the Celtics and Raptors.
I'll be on the call for that one.
You won't want to miss it.
And then on Saturday, it's Game five.
Of this. Siri's at eight.
Eastern is Westbrook lost the handle on his way up for the shot and a costly turnover for Houston.
Full court press from the Rockets and errant pass from Davis.
Westbrook capitalizes and comes up with a steal.
Jeff Green will wait for his fellow teammates to help him out.
Tucker Rather, Gordon steps into the three and makes it Eric Gordon, the big three point make and another turnover that was passed out of bounds.
The Rockets on a 12 2 run, and the Lakers just cannot seem to handle the full court press from the Rockets.
Davis just stepped out.
He caught it and stepped out of bounds.
Rockets back with it.
It's in the James Harden.
Harden finds Jeff Green green to Gordon Gordon. The corner.
Westbrook the three.
It's a 10 point game and a time out from Frank Vogel.
The Houston Rockets not done yet.
301 to go in the fourth quarter.
Back to back threes off of back to back turnovers from the Lakers has given the Rockets some life.
What a comeback in the making, perhaps for the Rockets.
They trailed by 10.
The action continues from Orlando in a moment, but first I'll get you back out.
Night's final 1 29 of the second period and still no score.
00 I'll cleared out by Fox, A sent back the other way, and Khudobin will control for the Stars.
He finds Oleksiak Alexia cup the boards all the way back.
It goes to Zack White Cloud.
White Cloud gets to the neutral zone, backhanded in to the Vegas end by Blake Komo.
Now he's getting in deep.
He'll swing it around the boards to the far corner.
Under a minute remains in period number two, Not able to move the puck ahead and now flipped along by Nick Holden.
Oleksiak tracks it down, but a cross ice pass here.
It's such a shame.
Theodore Theodore around Hey, skin, and he'll take it around the goal.
So, you know, holds up.
Play to the left point now feeds it down low.
Now it's into the slot by Tuck, defended by Fox up in the left circle, the shot from Stone blocked, and it could lead to a chance for the Stars all by himself.
Jamie Oleksiak on goal scars.
7 to go in the second period, and the Dallas Stars strike first against the run of play.
A breakaway chance for the Stars and Oleksiak made no mistake about it.
It went from a block shot by Alex AC.
Actually, Oleksiak blocked the shot from Stone.
Vegas has all five players in the offensive zone, couldn't track back in time and led to a breakaway chance for Alexia, who split it by the left path of Robin Lehner on the backhand shot.
And so the Dallas Stars, with time winding down in the second, have scored the first goal of Game three, that I went off the pad of Lennar and in and what a Momenta booster that will be for Dallas selection of this fourth goal of the postseason.
This is clear it all the way down, ice icing the call with 6.
7 ago so the face off will come back at the other end.
But what a chance out of nowhere, really for Dallas.
And what a big goal that could prove to be for Dallas.
And you know, every one of these games.
This Siri's have been low scoring, so you can only imagine how big the first goal is, especially in the way the Siri's has played out.
First goal is crucial.
The stars controlled the faceoff be held onto by K Galeano.
The clock winds down and the horn sounds.
That's the end of two, and it's the Dallas Stars with a one nothing leader of the Vegas Golden Knights.
A goal late late in the second period from Jamie Oleksiak has put the Stars on top 20 minutes to go in regulation and the Dallas Stars strike first in this one.
So the third period will come your way in about 18 minutes time.
But for now, I'll get you out to the final minutes of regulation time between the Rockets and Lakers, the Rockets, with a late game surge here to try to prevent themselves from going down 3 to 1 in the Siri's.
So let me get you out to that one after two periods of play, its biggest zero Dallas one in the NHL Western Conference final.
Meanwhile, out in the MBA playoffs with 209 to go in the fourth quarter 103 95 the score.
And it's James Harden at the free throw line. Unbelievable.
Here he makes the second one, and it's, Ah, seven point Lakers lead.
Can Houston make another stop? It's Caruso with the ball.
By the way, the Rockets only 28 of 37 from the line tonight.
Lakers 15 of 16.
Houston have had many trips to the line tonight.
Here is Rajon Rondo for the Lakers.
Rondo gets it to Anthony Davis Davis with Gordon guarding him.
He got it big time.
Make their from Anthony Davis.
It's a nine point Lakers lead.
Now it's James Harden for Houston.
Davis has 29 points now Harden.
Fix the three now.
You cannot make the three point wide open attempt, and so LeBron James will slow it down the other way for the Lakers, 1 25. Left.
James Spin move in the lane.
He stripped of the ball and now it's moved on ahead for Austin, Rivers, Rivers.
It rattles in, and it's back to just a seven point game a minute. 15 to go.
Suddenly, the Rockets are right back in this game.
Here is Alex Caruso at the Left Bloc left elbow.
Rather, you gets it to Anthony Davis on the bounce pass.
Davis, working on Green, can't get the shot, and it's James Harden with the rebound and a foul committed by Davis.
And so James Harden will have yet another trip to the line.
And yeah, that was a clean block of LeBron James, by the way, on that possession a little while ago for the Lakers, that was clean, good, good on the referees to keep their whistles away, even though LeBron James surprise surprise was lining about it afterwards.
So two big free throws here for James Harden.
He has 19 points on 14 of 18 shooting from the line.
Make it 15 to 19 as he sinks the first free throw.
This is an incredible comeback here.
It's just like that.
A two possession game hard to next.
Both 105 100 a five point game, 58.
7 on the clock, The Lakers outscored the Rockets 26 22 in the 1st, 31 19 in the second.
The third quarter was 29 29 but so far in the fourth, the Rockets have outscored the Lakers 32 19.
There are only down by five now shot clock down to eight, the ball in the hands on LeBron James.
LeBron James guarded by Austin Rivers James backing his way in, kicks into the corner.
Alex Caruso got the three ah, big time three point make from Alex Caruso and a time out called by Mike D'Antoni.
The Lakers needed that.
It felt like all the momentum was on the side of Houston, and so that three point make from Caruso right there makes it a 108 100 lead for Los Angeles.
16 points, by the way, for Alex Caruso on the night and so a time out here, the Rockets will huddle up eso.
We shall see what the Rockets could do here, down by, down by eight. After that.
Three from Caruso, it's that makes it a whole lot more tougher and crucified.
Missed that. Three in the Rockets have got the rebound.
They would have had the ball on Lee, down by five would have been a whole new story, but what a clutch three pointer from Alex Caruso, 34.
6 seconds remain back from the time out.
With that time out, Houston will advance the ball to the front court.
Jeff Green inbound.
So Green is past deflected but gets to the hands of Westbrook.
Gordon fakes the three now drives, goes up with a shot as steel by Caruso, LeBron James up the floor and Rondo with the Al au off the backboard in the one handed slam from LeBron James puts the Rockets up by 10 with 20.
I was expecting Rana.
They just finish off the layup himself.
But instead he tossed it off the backboard and the one handed athletic slam dunk from LeBron James.
Double teamed year.
Down by 10 he finds Gordon Gordon to the corner, Westbrook the three no good and a foul against Austin Rivers.
2 seconds to go, the Lakers, they're gonna come out victorious in Game three.
It will be their third consecutive win of the Siri's, and they have the potential to close out this Siris on Saturday night in Game five.
Anthony Davis will dribble it out, and that will do it.
The final score.
Los Angeles Lakers, 1 10 The Houston Rockets 100.
If they went in Game five to close out, the Siri's, would win in the exact same fashion as they did in the first round.
They lost Game one thio Portland and then won the next four.
They lost Game one, the Houston this Siri's and could possibly win the next four if they can close out in Game five.
The Rockets made it nerve wracking at one point late for the Lakers with an infuriating come back, but ah, clutch three from Caruso.
Put the hopes of Houston toe bed in the Los Angeles Lakers.
Come out victorious.
And the Rockets now, but 31 hole to climb out of.
And here is Anthony Davis.
Let's hear his postgame thoughts after third straight.
One of the Siris for Los Angeles.
Her name? Nos that so many turnovers I had to Oh, you know, we get uneasy looks and made threes.
And Eric Gordon great shooter.
Couple of grease couple lives.
You have you better.
I'm talking about games.
Um, like we did have a family where it didn't hurt us.
But, you know, you gotta you gotta go into the next game.
Nobody's got not gonna quit.
Um, when it's always saying we're coming, you're not going to quit.
They got gossip to make place for gossip, shooting basketball and leave.
No, they should not be so easy for them to get back in game saying we have you better take care of all ston off.
But before the fourth quarter, you took all of the explosion out of a team that is one of the most explosive offenses in the league.
what was working and what did you guys finally figured out defensively to completely cut off the three point game defensively? Three.
You know, except towards the way we did a good job in the three and taking them out their rhythm, you know? No man itself.
Virginia made tough Rossman itself.
He's a you know what? They were getting better towards the end of the game.
But for the most part, you know, for 45 minutes of the game, way has to our game plan and the last thing that can be better.
But I didn't play great defensively, and, uh, they're not gonna go away.
We got another tough one whenever we play again.
Uh, and knowing that they, you know, elimination game is always the toughest saying not gonna quit.
So, you know, we got to come out with what else? You know.
Caroline said that we're gonna finish a seriously, what did you think about the rookie important Tucker, who had some good quality minutes? And what can you tell me about him? Because we haven't seen much of the season.
He likes the work he likes to play.
He's a great murder fast learner.
and he comes in and give us everything you could defend.
How do you make shots? As you're saying, Make plays made a Big three, uh, got to the basket for a layup and made some great great players on the defensive end, so you don't have that much time, but he's always ready.
He's always listening.
He's been on the same as everybody but maybe Jr Jr always in his here about what you should be.
Oh, asking questions about the game plan just in case like tonight he goes and you know what he's doing.
So, um, you know, he's a great look.
Hey, played well for tonight.
Thanks for your time.
Yeah, alright, there is Anthony Davis.
His postgame thoughts after an impressive performance, Game five Saturday as that will do it for my coverage of Lakers Rockets.
But don't go anywhere because I will keep the stream going to cover the third period of the Stars nights, which is on the way shortly.
The final score.
The Lakers take a 31 series lead over the Rockets.
It wasn't easy in the end for the Lakers, even though it seemed like it would be.
The Rockets nearly pulled off what would have been an incredible comeback, but ultimately the Lakers, to get the victory behind an impressive defense of performance for the 1st 45 minutes, says Davis said the last three minutes, the Lakers will want to forget, as it was a you know, a collapse, really from the Lakers.
But in the end, they hold out, get the victory.
And so that will do for my coverage of Lakers Rockets.
Meanwhile, at the second remission, it's one nothing.
The Stars lead the nights, and, uh, you know they're at the second mission.
So focusing over at on the Eastern Conference final that Siri's is to nothing in favor of Tampa Bay.
Just just a heartbreaking loss last night for the Islanders.
And not the fact that the Islanders air down to of in the Siri's, obviously makes it will make it tough for them to come back, no doubt, but the fact that the or I should put it this way the way that they lost Game two, I don't know that could be a devastating blow for them.
The manner in which they lost Game two could really could really hurt them and and, uh, and really, uh, and and really caused this team to lose a ton of confidence because they felt like they had that game.
They felt like they were.
They were, you know they were.
They were this close to forcing overtime and, you know, anything could happen.
Overtime Game three of that series takes place tomorrow eight Eastern time between the Lighting and the Islanders.
Game four of this Siri's between Vegas and Dallas will take place on Saturday night at eight Eastern time.
We're getting set for the third period of the Stars, and the nights I'll return is the second remission report continues.
Don't go anywhere.

I'll tell you what, I guarantee that it's gonna be a battle to the end.
The nights are gonna come back with a fight And, by the way, the Dallas defenseman in these 2020 playoffs have factored in 41 of the 55 Dallas goals that they've scored tonight.
I had the goal. He's gonna had the assists.
So not only are the defenseman for the Stars, you know, helping out Khudobin in getting, you know, multiple shots these playoffs and limiting the opponents from scoring many goals.
But they're also getting involved in the action when it comes to their themselves scoring goals.
And that was once again the case in this one in Game 31 Nothing.
Vegas have three wins this postseason, by the way, when trailing after the second period.
That's the most in the league.
And so that's another reason why you should not count Vegas out here as we get the third period underway from Rogers Place, here is Oleksiak around.
It goes for his gun and a skinning up the wall out to the neutral zone, this past threaded through.
It will be chased down by Alex Tuck Chuck up against the boards.
It's given away toe Jamie Oleksiak.
Now it's cleared out to center, gradual off, could not control.
And now Tuck chasing it down up.
The right wing Chuck holds up now is pushed down from behind by John Klingberg and now a rifle from Shea Theodore.
The slapshot saved by Khudobin.
They blew the whistle even though it seemed as though Khudobin didn't hold on for long enough.
That puck was loose right afterwards.
But you're free.
It was quick to blow the whistle there.
The look afterwards from Shea.
Theodore says it all.
The nice just haven't found a way to get the puck past Anton Khudobin tonight.
It's been one of those nights, once again for Anton Khudobin.
This is cleared out to the neutral zone.
Theodore gives it away, But when is it? Right back.
See? Picked it off from Jamie from the stick of Jamie Bent.
Here come the Stars.
Nice move by Rachael.
Rachael has taken to the left.
He defeated across, but the shot off the side of the net.
A chance there for the former Boston Bruin Tyler singing It goes all the way down.
No icing Khudobin.
We'll leave it for the oncoming John Klingberg.
And did he put it over the glass without a deflection? Yes, he did delay of game penalty that could be costly.
Just a bad mistake from John Klingberg.
He sent it over the boards, and so a two minute power play for the Vegas Golden Knights after that delay of game call against Klingberg.
Yeah, clearly, he just aired it over the boards, was tryingto send it off the glass, but a little too much loft on that one, going back to the Sagan chance.
What a golden opportunity was.
I thought he went off the side.
Nothing and actually Nick the stick of Robin Lehner.
So he made the same patch.
Already is drive is blocked by my TCM Mark Klingberg in the box for the lay of game.
This puck trickles across the goalmouth and it's saved by the pad of Anton Khudobin.
Vegas Wasting no time on the power play that passed in the slot picked off, and now maybe a short handed chance for the stars.
Thean Mark leaves it.
Here comes Joe Pavelski.
Pavelski around back, swings it in front at, got by and market now the nights transition down the other way, Max patch, already in deep around it, goes past Mark Stone onto the stick of Alex Tuck.
Tuck in behind for Stone Stone to the edge of the right circle with Patch already patch ready, the high slot it got by Shea Theodore.
And so the Vegas Golden Knights have to reset as the Stars in nights make some changes.
Re entry here that's already up the right wing.
He's tripped and it's gonna be five on three.
A tripping, penalty assessed toe Blake coma of the Dallas Stars.
And so for a minute in one second, it's gonna be a two men advantage for the Vegas Golden Knights and Blake coma.
Blatant penalty there just took them from behind cooked patch.
Already that is from behind.
And so Peter de Boer is going to use this time out right now.
Yes, it's early in the period, but on the night where the Vegas Golden Knights have struggled to get the puck by Khudobin, this is a prime opportunity to talk things over and prepare for what will be a two men advantage for 61 seconds and then five, and then one man advantage for the following 59 seconds.
John Stevens, the assistant coach of Dallas, talking things over with the Stars players as well 17 28 to go in the third period, the third period just underway from Rogers Place in Edmonton.
So here we go out of the Vegas time out the face off to the right of Khudobin, Lendell, Fox A and Cecka are the three out there for the stars on the penalty kill based off one by Dallas and Sacra can't get out of the zone, though it's kept alive by Carlson.
You're a stone across the ghost patch already.
The one timer and I say May that Puck will leave the zone Stone right back in the O Stone on the left wing, takes it.
Downloaded the corner stone and behind the goal for Carlson.
Now it's fed out in front. They shoot.
It's off the post.
Oh, man, Shea Theodore, as close as you can possibly get, Getting the first goal of the game back to Patch.
20 seconds to go in the five on three Patch already down low.
Hi, slot of Theodore Theodore to the we left circle over the stick of stone.
He now collects it and feeds of this theater again.
This drive is blocked, and now it's a flex over the boards out of play.
It was Jason ****inson with the block, Shea Theodore with another opportunity in this shot.
And so Waas, the effort that run the post off the woodwork.
That time he beat Khudobin, but not the post.
That shot clocked at 91 miles an hour, five seconds left on the five on three before Klingberg.
Well, leave the penalty box.
Here's Theodore moving to his left.
Now it's stone of the right circle Stone across the one timer wide.
Thanks for joining back in Isaac.
I appreciate it.
The Marlins down 63 in the eighth.
Ah, all these Gore theater over the shot, the redirection in front and Vegas equalize 11 with 16 11 to go in the third while Shea Theodore.
My goodness, he's out in the most chances tonight for the nights, and at last he cashes in.
It was deflected.
Let's see the replay here.
Yeah, I took multiple deflections off of Stars defenseman, but that's what you gotta do.
If your feet or just fling it on goal, throw it on goal and hope for the best on the night like this, where they've had so much trouble getting it by Khudobin.
But at last they do so workmen blows it No surprise.
Yeah, yeah, I know.
I I got to see him blow games time and time again with the Red Sox.
Uh, this podcast in the offensive zone by the stars.
But now Tuck will work it forward from Marcia.
So this is controlled by Alexander Radulov.
Yeah, his er is I don't know what his exact er is at the moment, but I know it's very bad.
Your stats near the puck Stats team moves it through center.
Nice move and carry a sense it in front.
But it got by everybody and Jamie been able to clear for Dallas.
See, Doors goal the seventh of the playoffs for him in this postseason stone in March.
Also with the assist for the nights on this back wall.
Trickle its way into the crease and covered up by Robin Lehner with 14 57 ago in regulation or tied at one.
A piece in game number three of the Western Conference finals.
Thanks everyone for tuning into the broadcast tonight.
As always, I greatly appreciated and hope you guys are enjoying it.
Shea Theodore, By the way, he has 18 points in the playoffs.
He's been special in these playoffs and first line defenseman getting involved being the playmaker and gold score throughout these playoffs for the Vegas Golden Knights off the stick of Tuck Stone chasing it down, but it's moved on ahead by Jamie Oleksiak.
Right back the other way.
It goes, Hey, skin will retrieve it.
Hey, Skins pass intercepted.
Now here is talk talk with a shot that researchers say bye, who dove in Dallas? Couldn't clear.
Held in by Carlson.
Carlson leaves it.
And now Tuck with a shot that deflected wide left.
Hey, Skins met by Mark Stone 14 minutes to go in regulation.
Vegas, Ever since they've tied it up a couple months ago, have had all the momentum on their side.
Thank you, Irwin, for joining the broadcast.
I appreciate it now.
It's out in front.
The shot is blocked on the way in one.
An opportunity that time for Zack White Cloud.
Now stats need sends it down low center and Pat Riley Smith more so with two opportunities.
Both shots cannot find the net original effort saved by Khudobin in the second one.
Why the net? 30 seconds in a row? 30 seconds straight, I should say, in the offensive zone for Vegas, this shot saved by the sprawling Khudobin.
Now it's in the corner, fed up high by White cloud, White Cloud with a shot and that went wide of the goal off the end boards in Dallas.
It will clear all the way down for icing with 12 59 left in the period.
What a third period This has been Vegas on the front foot as of late, and so the face off back in the Dallas zone.
Not much of a breather for them, quite frankly.
And both Klingberg and Lindelof been on the ice for over a minute, obviously, no changes allowed during icing.
So I keep your onto Perry in hints, this whole unit out there right now for Dallas having out there for a minute. 15.
Harry moves to the head, and now here comes.
You will keep your Antah, Keep your onto holds up.
Gradual off comes over to help out.
It's cleared out to center by the Knights cross ice pass from Sacra.
And now here comes Jamie Ben Ben at the left circle, sends it on gold through the legs of a letter in Dallas.
Take the lead to the one with 12 25 to go in the third.
It's Jamie Benn who puts Dallas back on top.
Another another, you know, Odd man.
Rush for the stars.
Jamie Oleksiak scored on a breakaway.
This wasn't a breakaway per se, but Jamie Benn was wide open down the left wing and this one, just through the five hole of Lennar Lender will wanna have that one back any day of the week.
But Ben held onto it long enough tofu letter and get it through the legs.
And although it looks like Vegas for the most likely team Thio retake to take the lead, I should say to toe one, it's Dallas to retake the one goal lead 2 to 1.
The score with 12 12 to go in the third.
How about that? Ben's Golda six of the postseason for him, Sagan and Hanley with the assists, let's see how Vegas respond this time around.
Download Dallas looking for the first two goal lead of the night, now the right point with Hey skin and a skin up the boards and went off the stick.
Now ****inson and lost Here come Vegas, Theodore Ahead.
Back it goes, the slapshot saved by Khudobin and now the puck loose in front.
It's now along the end.
Boards back. It goes for McNabb.
McNabb down low.
Khudobin lays on top of the puck and holds on to make the save.
We've got up and down.
Third period action in the Western Conference final Game three.
Fox has shaken up as he heads to the bench gingerly.
11 30 to go in the third, 2 to 1 Dallas lead.
The action continues after the break. Stay tuned.
You won't want to miss it.
Welcome back into the broadcast, everybody.
Sorry, a one goal lead for Dallas as the Stars have a 2 to 1 advantage over the nights here in period number 3 11.
30 left in regulation.
How about Anton Khudobin making the save right before this commercial break, By the way, on that Fox a injury.
It was because of a collision he had with Alex Tuck.
And so he's, I believe he's he is in the locker room, I do believe, and he still hasn't returned to the bench.
I'll keep you updated on the status of Fox.
That here, with 11 30 left in regulation, biggest win the draw and short side shot is denied.
Exact white cloud with a chance.
Now here's Jamie Benn for the Stars. Yeah, Fox.
There currently is in the Dallas locker, and I'll keep you updated on his status.
White Cloud avoids the hit.
Moves along for Riley Smith.
The head open ice for Theodore Theodore ahead.
So with Speed goes flying into the end boards but got up just in time before colliding.
Here it is with Riley Smith.
He holds it in the offensive zone.
Doubtless cannot still clear, although it's eventually Pope loose from Theodore.
And so Vegas will reset as Jamie Benn.
I was able to clear seven and two are the third period shots in favor of the Knights.
A goal for each team so far in the period of Khudobin makes us safe from the left wing.
Now it's bad out of the air in the neutral zone, and Mark has on the right wing.
He'll move it around on the near side with Joe Pavelski, Pavelski to the corner.
Vegas Back with it.
We are midway through puree number three here on SportsCastr.
This should be a fun ending to a big Game three, but the Siri's tied.
Both teams looking to take a 21 Siri's lead and put themselves two games away, two wins away from making the Stanley Cup final.
This is gonna be icing against the Stars as it was sent all the way down the ice by Corey Perry.
The face off back in the Dallas zone.
Yeah, that was a good opportunity for Riley Smith, where Anton Khudobin made the save with the right blocker shots on goal in total 32 20 Vegas.
Yet they find themselves down 2 to 1 on the scoreboard, face off one, the shot wide of the net off the end boards.
Talk now, getting aggressive on the four check jam along the boards, and it's Andre Secker who comes away with possession.
Here is Tuck, and now, in the open ice it goes.
Theodore moves to the head.
Stone chases it down.
Alexia gets there first, but I don't want it back.
And the shot saved by the left pad of Khudobin Back to the right point.
Here's Theodore Theodore The Stone.
Carlson. Rather Carlson with a drive.
That's why follow up, attempt in back of the goal.
Now Theodore will now rather scratch that.
It's Alec Martinez will carry it out to the right point, but Vegas can't keep it in the offensive zone.
And so changes made from both teams.
The nights with it in their own end.
Nine ago in regulation.
Knee will fire it in, and now it's Linda with it for the stars.
The board sent back the other way by the Knights Hey, skin and now finds Alexander Radulov gradual.
Have sends the ****in liner gets there first that give away in the slot.
The backhand effort denied Jamie Benn with the chance, but Robin Lehner had other ideas.
Hi, sticking here.
It's played by Vegas, so we play on 8 27 left in the third, Vegas looking for the equalizer.
This pot kept in the zone.
It's Vegas one, Dallas to the stakes high in the Western Conference final.
Khudobin denied Carlson on a golden opportunity for Vegas to tie it up.
It remains a 21 lead for the Stars, though I'm back for the final minutes of regulation after the break.
Do not go anywhere.
Welcome back in everybody 8 23 to go in regulation.
And it's Jamie Benn with what could turn out to be the game winner if the Stars can close out.
But still too much time to say that for certain 8 20 left as Vegas look for the equalizer late in the third game of the Western Conference final.
On the puck here is Nick Holden.
Holden pushed up against the boards.
Lightning Islanders Game three, by the way, tomorrow at eight Eastern And then Game four of this Siri's Saturday at eight.
Dallas Come away with the puck that will be flipped in by MTI SCN Mark catch already there that by Gary on of it.
Put in front of the goal crease, but the Vegas Golden Knights ableto take it away.
This is deflected along by Chandler Stephenson, who Dobbins.
There he finds Oleksiak Alexia go the indirect past.
This puck high into the air stays in stays on the ice and we play on 7 25 now left in the third.
Down for the stars goes ****inson.
Here is a chance that deflects in Alex Tuck.
We're tied at two.
Ah, massive deflection is what has tied this game up for the second time tonight to to the score.
Alex Tuck threw it in and a massive deflection as we take a look at the replay.
It all started from Tuck and Stone battling with ****inson and coming away with it.
And yeah, and then Tuck with a shot through traffic.
And it looks as though it might have gone off of Mark Stone.
And and then it's hard to tell as we got an overhead look.
Maybe that will help us figure out.
Now The question is, was their goaltender interference on the play? I don't think it actually touch Touchstone.
I think the goal will go to Tuck if that gold stands.
But there is probably going to be a review here for goaltender interference.
I have to think.
So Dallas challenging for goaltender interference prior to the goal.
This could be a game altering decision.
Let's see the replay here once again.
Yeah, well, so there was clearly contact from Stone into Khudobin.
The question is, did Oleksiak push stone into Khudobin? I really don't think so.
I don't think there was an awful out there from Alexey.
Jack Stone could have avoided making contact with Khudobin.
I could see this goal being chopped off.
This could end up being goaltender.
Interference should be an absolutely blow for Vegas, but we shall see the review currently taking place.
It's probably gonna be a lengthy review.
I have a feeling because it's not cut and dry by any means, but I don't know.
Also you have to take into consideration.
Did Khudobin, you know, get off balance too easy? Because there wasn't a whole lot of contact there.
We got a call. Here we go.
Wow, it's a good goal.
So the referees determined that Khudobin went down too easily.
And so the unsuccessful challenge means that Dallas are penalized in that the Vegas Golden Knights.
We'll head to the power play as well.
So how about that? A double whammy for for Dallas.
They give up a goal and we'll have to kill off a power power play for Vegas.
7 14 left in the third were knotted up at two apiece, a soft one by the Knights.
Sent right back the other way, though by Dallas on opportunity to take their first lead the night Vegas on the power play.
Nice stretch past Theodore to Tuck Stone.
Leave it back to the right point with Theodore Theodore to the left circle.
Here is Carlson Carlson down low, back up the boards to Carlson, out in front, Patch ready with a chance.
What a safe all of chance and who dove in, says no again.
Now it's Patch already with it up against the boards.
It's out to the neutral zone.
Wow! Could have easily been third goal for the Knights Theodore through the slot over to the right wing stone with a chance save made.
Now it's the last point that's already tried to find Stone in the back door.
It got by, though, and it's the puck.
Exits the zone through center all the way in behind the Vegas Net.
Shade Theater will bring it up past the midway mark of the Knights Power play.
Here now is Alex Tuck Tuck, who has the game tying goal.
Now it's stone well, Alec Martinez.
This will be circled around the goal to the far corner.
Here's Martinez Martinez through traffic, say made rebound, who dove in with the pad save and now covers up.
Anton Khudobin, standing on his head here in the third and Vegas, still searching for their third goal to to it remains with Fivethirtyeight left in regulation.
The left pad of Khudobin, stretched out to deny Alex Taco is searching for his second of the game.
Just got his first one a few minutes ago, 24 seconds left on the power play Face off, one by the Knights to the right point with Theodore.
Theater will work it to the left in the high slot.
Now the right circle patch already lost it.
Trying to win it back here in a tangle eventually is controlled by the Knights.
Here is Patch already.
The high slot now, Theodore to the left circle with Carlson, Carlson works down low.
Across it goes, patch already in front, another save by who dove in and the puck goes wide.
The power play up out of the box goes Rachael Av and my oh my Anton Khudobin singlehandedly, for all intents and purposes, kills off the power play for Vegas.
We're into the final five to To the score.
Here is Zack White Cloud, Nicholas Wa for White Cloud.
White Cloud Flips it in, Alexey, Act there for the stars all the way down.
This puck will go the third period shots by the way.
16 to 3 in favor of the Knights.
Ongoing total over the course of the whole game.
21 Vegas yet we're tied at two.
Here is Tyler Sagan.
Second gave it away.
Here comes Carrier.
That backhand shot turned aside by Khudobin 36 saves Franch on Khudobin.
Here is Chandler Stephenson in the corner a pie the one time or wide off the back of the cage and now Oleksiak with it.
And he'll elevated out through center four minutes remain in regulation time, as that's going to be icing against Dallas, man.
Anton Khudobin, The story of the night, Quite frankly.
Yeah, I thought I really thought next patch, right? He was gonna shoot it over from the right wing, but instead he sent it in the slot where Nate Schmidt was tryingto just jam it into the goal.
But Khudobin had other plans.
This is a high sticking call.
With 3 52 to go in the third.
It's to to Game three coming down to the wire, the Siri's tied at one apiece.
All the play for the action continues after this quick break.
Welcome back in, everybody.
Look at the upcoming games in the conference finals of the Stanley Cup playoffs.
Out in the East, tomorrow is one.
Game three will take place between Tampa Bay and New York Islanders.
Eight Eastern time.
Drop for that one.
And then Saturday it's gained four of this, Siri's between the Knights and the Stars.
Oclock start for that one as well.
Pat Maroon of the Tampa Bay Lightning is actually attendance for this game is the rest of the playoffs are in that one place Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta, for the rest of the way.
Both conference finals in the Stanley Cup final, of course, so players from the lighting and Islanders can watch nights and stars the nights and stars playing players from nights and stars can watch the Islanders lightning play as well.
It's all in the bubble.
That's where it's at 3 40 to go in the third to to the score.
Is there a late game winner in the making here? This puck capped in the offensive zone by a salon? Del Lind l ahead for play.
KOMO Vegas Come away with possession.
Here is Jonathan Marcia.
So Marcia so flips into the corner.
Stars take it away.
Moved out through center, and that went off the face of White Cloud.
It looked like she's a little bit shaken up after that up.
The left wing deflects into the Dallas zone under three minutes.
Now remain in period number three.
Alexey act with a misfire on the past puck loose and picked up eventually by Europe.
Hence, off the end boards.
Theodore took a hard fall, and tripping right over him was Corey Perry.
Here is Alec Martinez to the loose pack.
They'll move it out of the zone.
Nicholas Watt catches that one, puts it down and sends it in behind the Dallas goal.
Excuse me, starts playing up the boards, and now offsides is the call to 21 left in the third period.
One more shot for Vegas on gold, that is, and they'll hit the 40 mark Anton Khudobin has just been incredible so far tonight.
17 to 3 of the third period shots on goal, By the way, the nights just dominating this period.
Here come the Stars, though that reflects over to the Rachael a fragile off.
Send it across the goal. Crease wide.
Now it's Jamie Band in the high slot, Lendell down low for Sagan.
And now the puck sent ahead by Vegas.
Maybe a chance for the nights they'll send it in deep.
Will be chased down by Max Patch already.
Lyndal had it taken away.
Carlson wins it now back behind.
It gets by patch already on the stick of Rachael of 1 45 left in the third.
Now it's in the high slot.
This Dr Wide Patrick ready in front could not get the shot off.
And now the stars clear it all the way down.
Icing the call with 95 seconds remaining in regulation.
Back in the star zone.
Wow! What a game, folks.
Rachael have has been out there on a shift for 52 seconds.
Bend 48 seconds.
Second Ah, minute nine as Ben will be kicked out of the draw, actually now his stick broke.
My apologies have toe get that repaired quickly, and he comes with a new stick.
And now the face off will take place 1 35 left in the third to to the score.
We're all tied up.
Vegas dominated second period Dallas did, and now the third period back to Vegas.
Does that favor Dallas? If we had over time, that's the question.
If that trend continues, the Stars would be the ones who would take over in O.
But oh t is not any worry yet, although it could be in the near future.
But Vegas, looking for the winter here.
It sent around the boards to rally Smith.
Khudobin tracks that puck down and covers up with 66 seconds left in the third.
And so here comes the face off Khudobin, just giving it everything he's got here.
Carry a in the battle of coma in the corners, sacar getting involved with the stars.
So I'm keeps on taking down here at the end of regulation here, is carrying Carrie Lost it.
Zakaria around the boards to the your side.
Now it's Chandler Stephenson for the Knights shot from the left wing that's blocked second chance and Khudobin covers up through traffic.
The Stars defense Just putting themselves on the line here.
Do not want this game.
The head toe O T. That's the last thing they want.
22 15 Stars face off to the right of Khudobin singing.
We'll go up against Carlson.
It looks like we got a false start on the draw last night at this very place.
Rogers Place in Edmonton looked like we were heading the overtime between the Lightning and Islanders, but the Lightning scored with eight seconds remaining.
Do we have a similar situation tonight? Or there's a late game winner and regulation face off one by Vegas, something behind the goal controlled here by Oleksiak.
Now it's moved out through center by ****inson.
****inson flips it to the end boards.
Stone comes in to help out.
It's eventually controlled and moved ahead by Shea Theodore.
But that's going to be icing as hey Skin and wins the race with Patch already just 14.
Remain in the third period offensive zone.
Draw for the stars.
Maybe one last chance for them, even though they've been out shot 42 21.
Face off, though, is one by Vegas.
They look to clear it comes out to Carlson.
Carlson will move it around for Schmidt.
Schmidt will play it off the boards.
It takes an awkward balance, maybe a chance late.
It's that out in front, bend the shot.
Deny at the horn.
Oh, my word and letter got injured on the safe.
Yeah, this puck took a crazy ricochet off the boards.
Schmidt just tried to clear it out off the glass routine.
Instead, it took a wicked ricochet, and it was kept in the zone.
Jamie Benn wide open with a last second chance.
But Leonard comes up with the save, and over time will be on the way.
The question will be.
Is Robin Lehner going to be out there for the start of overtime? Well, season.
He was a little shaken up after that shot after the save.
Marc Andre Fleury always a hefty backup plan as the overtime intermission report is coming your way.
Next, I'll talk about Anton Khudobin stealing the show tonight.
We've got our first overtime of the conference finals to two between Vegas and Dallas.
We're not done yet.
Bonus hockey Coming your way in about a quarter of an hour.
I'm with you all the way.
No matter how long this one goes over time.
Next between the Vegas Golden Knights and the Dallas Stars in Game three.
Welcome to the overtime intermission report here on SportsCastr as 60 minutes not enough between the Vegas Golden Knights and the Dallas Stars to to the score after three periods of play.
What a game this has been, folks.
And bonus hockey will be on the way here on SportsCastr, as, uh, I welcome you into the overtime intermission report here on SportsCastr.
And I'll tell you what Vegas Golden Knights and the Dallas Stars have put on a show tonight.
They really have.
This has been a fun game from the very start.
And, uh, Anton Khudobin though you cannot overlook his performance tonight.
He has been absolutely phenomenal through 60 minutes thus far.
Sorry about that.
I have no idea what just happens.
Sorry about that, folks, but yeah, 00 it was 00 If you if you remember through almost a full two periods of play.
But then it was a goal by Jamie Oleksiak on a breakaway with about 15 seconds left in the second.
That would put Dallas in the lead that made it 10 Then it would be the Vegas Golden Knights who would respond in the third as, Ah, Robin Lehner couldn't make the save on that first Dallas goal off his left pad and then, ah, little bit unlucky, ultimately, and then fast forwarding to the third.
That's when three goals were scored in total and it would be five on three for Vegas.
And they would have so many chances as, uh, Theodore ring the post hit the pipe.
But then, on the five on four, Vegas would cash in and scored their first goal of the night, a long awaited first goal to tie it up.
It was all Vegas in the in the third period.
Vegas dominated the third period, and that's an understatement, really.
But against all odds, it would be the Dallas Stars who would actually retake the lead to 21 and it would be Jamie Benn five hole on Robin Lehner to make it 21 So then Dallas retook the lead second lead of the night for them.
But Vegas wouldn't be done.
And you had a feeling that Vegas, we're gonna bounce back and score at the other end.
That's what exactly what they did.
But not before Khudobin made some or great saves.
I mean, Khudobin was lights out, as I said throughout the 60 minutes of play, but that equalizer would come a massive deflection.
The shot from Alex stuck with 7 14 to go in regulation would tied up at two apiece.
There would be no goals after that.
And that's why we are heading to overtime the first overtime of the Siris in the first overtime of the conference finals.
And so the Rick Bonus and the Dallas Stars would challenge the call for possible goaltender interference.
Challenge, though, would not would not be successful, and since this challenge is unsuccessful, Vegas run a power play and they created even Mawr opportunities after that.
But Khudobin, with some more incredible stops to keep Dallas alive and force overtime ultimately so to to the score after 60 minutes, Shea Theodore had a power play goal that was the seventh of the postseason.
Jamie Benn's goal was the sixth.
The Stars over one of the power play tonight.
The Gold Nights Out shot Dallas 18 of four in the third period.
Game four of this series will be Saturday at eight Eastern time, but the focus will not be on game for yet because we have overtime of game three toe look forward, Thio.
I mean, just that statistic.
Biggest out shot.
Dallas 18 of four in the third period.
Just absolutely incredible.
And if it wasn't for Anton Khudobin, this game would have been over.
The Knights would have won and we would've been calling it a night.
But because of Anton Khudobin, we will be heading in overtime.
And, hey, you never know what to expect in overtime.
That's the beauty of sudden death. Overtime hockey.
You just do not know what to expect.
The game could end any second.
The game could go on forever, so we shall see what over time has in store next here on SportsCastr.
But But yeah, ultimately, it's Ah, it's been one heck of a battle between these two teams and in Vegas have been the better team.
Dallas were better in the second period, but the 1st and 3rd, especially the third, just absolutely dominated by the Knights.
And I would expect Vegas to come out at the beginning of overtime.
You know, wanting this win because the nights are well aware that the that they should have one by now that they know that.
And so I I really do expect Vegas to come out flying in and looking for to end this game as quick as possible as, uh, Khudobin Two goals allowed them 40 shots face that accounts for 38 saves on the night.
We're getting close to the start of overtime.
You won't want to miss it here on SportsCastr as the second our mission report wraps up after the break 22 between the Knights and the Stars.

We'll see that place to their advantage over time.
Is next bonus hockey on the way from Edmonton? Don't miss it.
It's too, too, between the Knights and the Stars.
Game three of the Western Conference finals.
Welcome back in.

Not enough between the Knights and the Stars were heading to overtime from Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
Thanks everyone for tuning in tonight and here we go into OT.
In that third period, it was a late chance for Jamie Benn, and he was denied by Robin Leonard.
Leonard fell in an awkward position and and actually got injured on the play, and so to start, over time it will be Robin letter in the goal.
So he appears to be all right and eso he's out there for over time and we're set for the extra frame.
Sudden death first goal wins.
Let's see if he could continue his heroics.
You know t The face off at center ice is one by the Stars Sig and sends it around and now delivers a hit on the four check sent along by Jonathan Marshes of the Shop Jungle, 42 20 to Vegas.
After three periods, seconds pass back into the neutral zone with Rachael off.
Now, Oleksiak tries to send it up ice that past blocked off, but one back by Sagan.
Now cross ice pass open on the right wing.
Here's Rachael Shooting stores.
Alexander Radulov wanted Dallas 31 seconds into overtime, and the Stars are back in the lead in this best of seven.
Siri's Thank you, Alex for joining the broadcast as the Dallas Stars put it into game number three and quite spectacular fashion.
31 seconds into overtime, Alexander Radulescu with a snipe.
He was wide open up the right wing, the shot from the right circle, perfect placement by the shoulder of Lennar and into the back of the net that did not take long whatsoever.
1929 left in OT, 31 seconds into the extra period, and it's Rachael off who puts the Stars back on top of the Siri's to one and boy, does that make for an interesting Game four on Saturday, as Vegas will not want to go down 31 The stars continue to surprise, and they were really dominated for, you know, two out of the three periods in this game.
But they stuck around in large part thanks to Anton Khudobin, and it's Alexander Radulov.
Snipe from the right wing has got them the victory in overtime of Game three.
Let's get to the three stars of the game, shall we? First star goes dogs and a gradual of, of course, who just scored the game winning goal.
Second started Jamie Benn, who also got on the scoresheet.
It's got to go to Anton Khudobin, who had an incredible night between the pipes 38 saves on 40 shots.
And Anton Khudobin is a big reason why.
This why this game even went to OT and you know, I'm making it sound like Vegas absolutely dominated.
They didn't you know, but but Vegas for the better team, they had a lot more the chances.
But Dallas come out victorious, three to the final that will do it for my broadcast folks hope you enjoyed coverage of both Lakers Rockets and night stars.
The Lakers beat the Rockets, 1 10 100 to take Game four of the Western Conference semifinals and take it to one Siri's lead.
Meanwhile, the Dallas Stars take Game three of the Western Conference final over the Vegas Golden Knights 32 and over time to take a 21 Siri's lead.
