Welcome to Stride Brooke for tonight's SportsCastr live stream of cabin Teeley against Athlone Town.
It's, uh, fourth in Division One against Decide at the bottom Athlone Town, who've been struggling all season, just two draws on eight defeats in their 10 games.
Caba, who started the season like a train they were blasting away from the pack.
They had a huge lead, but unfortunately, three league defeats in a row have them now in a precarious position where the top six are only divided by three point margin.
So it's really anybody for promotion on those playoff spots, but hopefully cab until you can get back to winning ways tonight with me.
Uh League of Ireland legend as we know on Jason, former cabin TD player.
What will be playing on the minds of the cabin TV players in that dressing room right now? Well, obviously, defeat is not good for confidence on.
Do you know it is a great chance to get themselves back into the toilet race? Was he alone down the bottom of the table commentary last last three games? But you know, as I said, is a perfect opportunity to get back into the ball game.
What happens in the psyche of a team when they go from seven games unbeaten, top of the league and then start losing games? When you see players come into the into the shell on, it's important then for the experienced players to get them back outer shell on and then don't drop in the standard in the dressing room and in the Castillo big big names.
Big, hard in the direction of can be quite.
They need the governor's, the players kind of. It's just another game.
That's the only way the tree and no, probably made a few changes you know on that should help them as well.
Six changes, no less for tonight's game.
Uh, no night at the back.
He hadn't wasn't able to train this week, so unfortunately, he couldn't be considered for selection.
But they do bring back the skipper Connor Kealy at the center of defense.
That should galvanize things.
Yeah, definitely looking to be considered a lot of calls lately.
Eso obviously it starts from defense on, obviously haven't scored a lot of girls order, so I need to get back into scoring goals as well because I said, If you keep it clean, she when I always keeps it for, was a chance to score goals.
And then, like all, show the whole team.
That four 42 formation for a Pat Evelyn tonight.
Hey, has got Chiron Marty Waters, the top scorer all time for cabin.
Tell you up front alongside the league's one of the league's top scores.
Do you think they could do it tonight? Yeah, I think I think so, because last time you're headed their plan and it was a treat for you to formation, which I didn't think. System.
There's a lot of gaps, but the 442 formation thinks the situation underground said they have a base back four they could build from their marching orders.
He's a primitive version player playing the fourth reason.
So you just need to give them more service on young buyers or front, and he needs to get back into the girls code as well on a downtown.
Do you give them any hope? Obviously, it's a game of football, David taking address him, you know, coming here.
This comes not great, so this is a chance for them to get back up on what they have.
Two points this year.
They just is a big game for them on.
Obviously, then they can upset things going forward, but the maximum is a bigger life of commentary.
Football club Well, Ronan Manning is probably one of their star players.
He'll be in the center of the pitch for Galway United tonight.
He'll be in the center.
The pitch for Athlone town tonight.
Of course he is from Go Away.
Sorry about that fluff, but Rana Manning is a man to look out for on uh, Athlone Dangerous side.
But I think Cabin Teeley should have enough to get back to winning ways tonight. Let's hope so.
Well, straight book in great condition for this important game on with just tiny margins between the teams in the top half of the division.
Well, every single game, every result is just vital at this time of the season.
10 games played, eight to go.
The team news for Cabin Tilly is that there are six changes to decide that lost heavily.
Indra had a last week, but with the return of captain Connor Keeley, Lloyd Buckley, Alex Aspell, Jack Connolly and Shane Barnes.
While there's no shortage of talent in the cabin, Teeley starting 11 on 20 year old Stephen Kinsella gets his first start for cab.
Oh, since his recent signing manager, Pat Devlin, was raving about him before the game.
And he should add something to cabin Teeley down the flanks tonight at Lone Town arm or settled team.
Despite their woes at the bottom of the division.
Just one change for manager Adrian Carberry lead.
Duffy returns after suspension.
He'll play up top Dean George dropping to the bench.
Well, look out for teenagers Adam Lenin and Jack Reynolds to very Pacey wingers on, Of course, Ronan Manning, who will be pulling the strings in the middle behind Duffy.
Well, Erin, we're just short of game time now, Nearly ready to go.
What's your thoughts on this one? Um, I think commentator, you're gonna go back to a 44 trade system that part has used on many occasions.
It looks a very attack of mind.
The team, the big concern for me at that stage.
In the last three or four games, they've conceded 11 league goals alone.
Again, I'm gonna start off with a 4231 with Adam Lenin, as you said Manning on Reynolds, the tree lads who give that attacking option for it alone.
No, Dave also considered, I think, 29 goals so far in the league.
So I'm expecting a lot of goals here today, but I still think can't really have enough to win the game.
Well, it's a fresh autumn evening in Black Rock and South County Dublin.
On the breeze, if anything, will be favoring Athlone Town in that orange and black strip in the first half.
But it'll be Clemente Alien Cure and Marty Waters, their all time top scorer who will start things off here under the very close watch of Oliver.
More on our referee tonight.
That incredible concertina effect that these three defeats for Cab until we have had on the Division one table really makes the conclusion of this season are a must watch event.
One point between five teams.
It's it's all to play for eight games to go, as you say, and it's the team that can, you know, get a couple of wins behind them.
Now it's gonna be in the driving seat.
The pause for black lives matter before we start here on its cabin TD to kick off playing from right to left in the first half towards the clubhouse end in Straw.
Brooke, of course.
Normally associated with BlackRock Rugby Football Club.
But for the last five years, Cab, until we have been very happy to call this their home and they've got the first three kick of the game, which is taken quickly towards Paul Fox and headed away strongly that time by to Malo to who play it right back for Athlone Town.
Good hefty challenge early on their from the two lads while talking to Adrian Carberry.
He's very enthused, despite the no win situation they've got to.
Here we are in mid September and Athlone town, two drawers on eight defeats in the league on really, their form over the last five or six seasons has been very much on that kind of vein.
You know all about that, Erin from your time at the club? Yeah, they're spending a lot of time now investing in the in the young players at the club.
Um, they've put in all over the pitch onto the main pitch there.
They got some income, threw that pitch, and that's gonna help them going forward.
So they give a lot of young players their debuts in the league there.
Hopefully, next couple of years, you'll see that to fruition.
It's Fox sending them all forward to sharing.
Barnes takes it down beautifully on his chest cabin TD, looking for a fast start here.
Fox on the overlap on a great block by to Malo to to prevent the ball from coming into the box on the first corner of the game goes to cabin telly.
Shame Barnes had looked up that little bit earlier.
You would find Casey Martin Walters free in the box.
Crossed up all a little bit earlier.
But good play from Cavatelli down the left.
Well, this kick is gonna be taken by Steve Concealer on It's a dangerous one onto the head off the skipper.
I think it was Connor Keeley, but he couldn't keep his head down, and it remains nil nil.
But I was just trying set pieces.
They got three or four of the 6 ft plus players that I was going to cause you problems with them corners. Air coming.
In fact, it was Jonathan Karl and I got that header in.
He's playing at left back today.
Ah, it's Ah Latifa.
Andi Kealy at center.
Back on the right back is Lloyd Buckley, and you were saying before the game, Aren't it's four center halves really for cab until you at the back? Yeah, every one of them must play the center half at some stage in their career.
That's young Adam Lenin, who was being held by Carlin but no free kick on.
Here's Lenin again.
He might be small, but he's quick and he's skillful on Lenin, taking on the defense and maybe a chance here for Athlone.
The shot, though, going high and wide off the boot of Ronan Manning, who will be that big threat in the middle for Athlone town.
He has played down the middle of the strike around in morning, so he knows where the goal is.
I think he is their top scorer this year, just playing in behind at the moment.
Good play, Malone.
Well, this live broadcast, of course, we will keep you up to date on what's happening in other League of Ireland games tonight and a bit of a shock, a Daily Man Park, the team in second place in the Premier Division.
Bohemians losing to Waterford on Waterford.
Of course, only announcing in the last day that they're gonna lose their manager, John Sheridan, is he's probably going back to England to take over Wigan. Athletic.
So a surprise there is Athlone.
Come again down that far side, dangerous cross but easily dealt with by Cabo's keeper Cori Chambers.
Likely be disappointed at defending.
You've got to stop those crossing white areas, but to keep it going well.
Cabin Teeley going quickly up to Barnes, and it's Kieran Marty Waters in support.
Nice little exchange of passes there between the two front men for cabin daily.
Marty Waters with the cross.
Get it half away.
But there was a bit of a push in there.
Alex Gospel joining in the attack, pushing one of the defenders on Athlone Town get the free kick.
Yeah, I think it was a free kick.
He's just trying to get in on the end of across there.
Just barged into the two center house.
Well, the later match in the Premier Division tonight is the champions done dork who are at home to Shelburne.
That one coming up at eight o'clock, we'll keep you in touch with how that one's going.
And, of course, all of the games in Division One go away.
United Playing at home Thio Shamrock Rovers be on Wexford against Bray Wanderers.
Both those games have just started.
No goals yet in either of those here in Stroud Brooke.
Both sides have had a chance.
There's in offside.
Flag raised the assistant on the far side.
Chris Campbell, spotting that offsite against Cavan TV free kick to Athlone Town mistake there from Steven Fox.
He should have put up all down and get into the box, particularly when they've got six as a city of four or 56 footers. Carbon Taylor.
And there's always a danger for set pieces.
Well, Cabin Teeley, just in the league since 2015.
And of course, we were saying earlier that Athlone Towns Form hasn't been great over the last five or six years, so it's not surprising to see that cab until you have dominated matches between these sides.
12 wins for cab until just three for Athlone Town in the meetings between them since Cabin TV joined division one back in 2015.
And certainly this is a must win match for the green, and White have to find the way back to three points, another offside flag, this time given after Kieran Marty Waters put that ball in behind the Athlone town defense.
I'm not a bad man, Steven, but I wonder what the odds were for a nil nil tonight.
Well, I wouldn't have a clue, to be honest with you, Aaron, but I would say this at least at least 15 to 1, at least, although you'd normally get in the drawer something like 2.
5 321 But nil nil.
That would be a surprise protein free flowing and scoring goals.
Let's hope that continues.
Yeah, of course.
Athlone Town, despite their position, had a fantastic cut win against Wexford in the last 16 of the competition, and our into the draw for the quarter finals.
The only Division one side who have got through very exciting game, winning by five goals to three after extra time.
Here comes lead Duffy, but he's just stumbled on the ball as he tried to get in behind Latifa on that will be a goal kick to cabin Teeley.
Yeah, that cup draw coming up next week.
It's going to be done during Artie's broadcast of the live game next Friday night on DA seven Premier Division teams, joined by Little Athlone town on.
They'll just be hoping, I think, that they could get a home draw.
Yeah, anything can happen in the car, but I was good to win the Cup medal.
I think you've got one as well.
Jason born on the great days that particularly when you win two heads it away onto Adam Lenin.
But he was caught late there by Shane Barnes on a little warning from the referee, Oliver Morning to Cabin TV's top scorer this season with five girls.
Shane Barnes, who made such a wonderful start to the campaign, has cabin TD swept all before them six wins and a draw on their first seven league games.
Since then, things have gone a little bit sour.
Three defeats in a row on DA Pat Devlin before the game was certainly very hopeful that they could get back to winning ways tonight.
Great ball over the top in its Paul Fox in Chase here.
He's got behind the cover but really well dealt with by the center back.
Scott Delaney, the skipper for Athlone Town.
Good play from Paul Fox down that left hand side.
Well, quite upon the Santa half from alone.
I think that's shaped 442 with which they started with today Actually suits, um and they look very composed in it.
It looks a good shape.
Every player seems to know what they're doing.
Maybe that's the way forward for Pa.
So another corner for cabin Tilly and that was Carl in coming in at the near post just glanced off his head in a way for a throw in.
But a really good chance for cabin Teeley.
Oh, you should have put that away.
You got across the front man in the near post.
Just got a little bit more contact than that was a deaf nickel.
Jonathan Karl in a big man playing at left back could be, uh, put under a bit of pressure by Adam Lenin if they could get him into a wide position.
Lenin being ah, very quick winger.
He kept against a left back who is probably about 6426 ft three and they're looking for Lennon here but Carl and got his foot to it.
The teeth for heads It on on Flicked on There by Jack Connolly back into the side tonight.
That's asphalt trying to get forward but losing out to Manning on now.
Duffy through the middle.
But up goes the flag on its on off side, this time against Athlone Town as they threatened to get behind a very high defense of Cabin Healey.
It was a good position there from Cori Chambers, sweeper keeper was the letter to the danger on the linesman just caught offside.
I was chatting to **** Kelly, the cabin TV goalkeeper, before the game, and he was explaining that things are getting better with his injury.
He had a problem with a vertebrae in his neck on board.
He's still wearing a neck brace but hoping to be back before the end of the season.
Flicked away that time.
By David Brooks Athlone Town Looking lively but that's good.
Very good play from Keighley stepping forward and then he gives it away to town. Erdogan.
That's a very calm header in defense by Athlone town to get it back to the keeper.
Good defending a recovery.
Who is trying really hard to establish Athlone town as a local team.
They're certainly doing well in underage competition.
They've been very successful under 15 and under 17 level in recent years.
And obviously there's a lot of good talent in the Midlands and in the counties around us made.
It's very commendable to see what Agent Carberry is trying to do.
Big soccer town that one caught in Atif it in the face and he was just stung by it.
Sliding in with Aspell, trying to send it over the top for Waters, who couldn't quite get the touch inside.
Tied it up at the back by Chiron Grogan.
Grogan, of course.
Former Cavan Teeley player signed from Cavatelli by a flown town on DA playing his first year in the Midlands, made his debut just a the end of July on the first game back from the lock down good flick on by Marty Waters, but a really firm challenged by Mark Moran.
Here's Manning, and now Baran with a little bit of space that's alone trying to build things through Brooks on the far side.
Chuck Reynolds doing well to keep possession that's better from Athlone Town, showing good composure that one cut out in the middle by Connolly.
I think the frontier from Cavatelli, Walters and parents started really well.
They started looking at combining together.
They're getting into little flicks on there, definitely causing that back for off lonesome problems just early on.
Well, the summer football of those beautiful evenings that we've had here in Cavan, Teeley Not so much in evidence now is the days get shorter and the sun sets away on the far side.
Beautiful sky over there in that far corner but cab until you're concentrating on the action to cross cleared away by Chu on Helped on by Young Baran.
And then it's asphalt to win it back for cabin Teeley.
Connelly just seemed thio lose his bearings.
They're not quite sure what happened.
He's done well, has been there a couple of times.
He broke up the play for that loan on he's got cab until you on the front foot again.
Well, problems here for Cavan.
Teeley Not quite sure who's down.
Did you cancel? Cancel, cancel young kids say that who was just 20 years old, signed recently, is a free agent after coming back from spells that Dundee and Evident Cross Channel.
This his very first start for cabin Teeley.
So a bit of a breather for both teams.
15 minutes into this much.
Are you happy so far with what you've seen from Cavan, Teeley, Erin.
I think they've reached out and really brightly, particularly front to I think that's the best I've seen them in the last couple of games on there, definitely causing them problems.
Um, they just need to get a little bit more support from the midfield areas on the white areas, particularly the balls on the fireside that was opposite wing players should be looking to make the get into the box because they'll get opportunities on.
We've had a couple of half chances so far, so it's been a good start incrementally.
Therefore four to shape is definitely sit with them on there.
It's it's it's important and imperative now that you could get the first goal.
We'll play about to resume with the cabin.
Teeley temporarily down to 10 men, but kids let able to come back on on.
Now it's Duffy away behind Latifa.
Can you find a way through here? Duffy could save by Cori Chambers on put behind by Latifa.
But the question is, did he handle the ball when it came off the goalkeeper? I think it definitely hit him on the ground, but he obviously was trying to get back up.
Good safe and Cori Chambers.
So first corner for Athlone town on just a sign that they have to be wary at the back Athlone town have some very dangerous players in Manning and Duffy.
Scott, Delaney, Biggs and a half is a threat as well.
Corner towards the back post.
But it's just a bit too long and beyond town.
Erdogan, who's a very interesting player of the American who ah, came to Athlone town on loan from Dundalk, where he has a connection to the owners of the Dundalk Club because he he has a degree from Harvard University in economics on Duh, his father, actually is his Turkish.
I believe that's where the name Dogan comes from and is his full name is, uh, Tanner. Amman.
Dogan is very tidy player, technically very good player.
Ah, lovely ball from Kira Marty Waters to put Kinsler into some space, taking on Brooks on that wasn't far away came inside toe. Have a strike.
A really good effort from young Stephen Kinsella.
Super played, incrementally.
Great switch of play from Baron's.
I think it was initially Stephen Kinsella is good on the one V ones, and he seems to be taking that full back on any chance he gets.
Very good chance.
Just Mr Fire post.
So consider showing us just why he has been chosen in the 1st 11 for the first time by manager Pat Devlin, probably a couple of meters away from putting Carbo ahead.
He have a long spell back of ST Pat's, cancel it at one stage and he's playing left wing for them, so we can't play left and right wing.
But he seems to be able to go on four bucks with a bit of tastes, and I think that's where Cab, until you need the teeth, are trying to get the ball away quickly.
Paul Fox stretching to try and keep it in.
Good idea from Latifah, just not quite the execution that was required.
But that's what cab until we need to do.
Hit the front men early.
A little back heel they're going astray and it's Ah, it's Baron who wins it back for Athlone town.
Some space here for Dogan wide left, is Jack Reynolds, and now it's Manning who has the confidence to go for goal.
Easy enough for Cori Chambers but another good, better play by Athlone Town showing there really in this game.
So I was the danger when you're on the front foot cabin till he's getting hit on the break.
And they broke very well there at lone, culminating with a shot from running.
Seems to be no danger player.
That's two or three shots he's had from the edge of the box.
That one A little bit too long for Kieran.
Contrast in tactics here for Athlone Town have got 4231 that extra man in the middle against the 442 of Yeah, I haven't really well when they haven't got the ball coming.
Healing is important, the to ing the two ringers playing that they took in and give the two cents when we feel a little bit of help.
Keely is one mighty man at the back for Cavin Teeley, head and shoulders above most of the players out not pitch tonight, another offside, this time against Lee Duffy.
I think at times when they're attacking, it's it's more far too far.
We can continue with the two wings staying high and wide on.
That does give a lot of work for the two midfield players to get around, particularly in American three players.
So it's a pond that they win the first bar, particularly that first header while the Dundalk Shelburne game in the Premier Division has just started scoreless after a couple of minutes and it's still scoreless and the other two games in Division one in every single game, like a cup final at this time of the year, there still eight games to go, but literally anyone of eight teams could get into the top four.
And, of course, goal the United on one of them.
New manager John Caulfield has certainly had the desired effect and changing their fortunes around.
Well, I think it was a fantastic win for for Galway last week between ill in U. C.
D, particularly after them beating Wexford ate meals.
So, as you say, it is all to play for.
That was quite a shock.
UCD have been going so well.
Of course, the other team that air flying at the moment is Cove Ramblers.
Four wins in a row.
They've gone from being sort of lower mid table to write involved in the promotion race table.
The moment going into tonight's games draw the United lead on goal difference from Bre wanders.
They're both on 20 points.
And then there's Longford, Town and Cabin TV on 19 just one point separating the top four on just two points.
UCD and Cove Ramblers ongoing United six points off that Group of six.
But with a few wins, they could turn all that around and really have a big part to play in deciding which team gets promotion on which team which teams go to the playoffs.
I think I'm Pat Devlin. It'll be.
Just take one game at a time and that's all you can do.
You can only place play against a team ahead here.
Tonight is a big, big challenge in a big game for them on, it's important that you can get the three points.
Here's young Baran, and that's a lovely ball into the space for Dogan down goes Jack Reynolds, my small up to Duffy again, right on the edge of offside.
But he was just beyond the last defender between Keely and Carlin on the off side flag was raised again.
Money again, pulling the strings in the middle of the pack.
Foot long, good play from dog and on Manning.
They seem to have really good technical players in the middle of the park.
Adrian Carby was raving to me about Ronan Manning today, saying his attitude has been first class.
He's been the best player technically and in terms of attitude and fitness in the whole Athlone squad on, but he certainly proved that he has what it takes.
And here he goes again, past Alex Ospel, driving at the heart of the cabin, Teeley defense on tackle from behind by Latifa to give a free kick to Athlone Town on a first yellow card of the game.
For that clumsy challenge from the cabin TD defender brilliant play from running again, driving at the heart off Carbon Tilly's defense on.
I think the teeth, they're just started down and I'm just pull them back, so this is dangerous.
Dangerous position is a good technician running on this Manning, who looks to be the one who might take this.
He's the one, certainly putting the ball on the spot.
Is it where Jack Reynolds standing beside him plenty in the penalty area for Athlone town? Should goalkeeper Curry Chambers be unable to hold this big wall for cabin telly who've got some very tall man in this team? Wind assisted as well.
So this dangerous opportunity.
So Ron, amounting to take it on the wall, does its job and cabin TD trying to break out quickly.
But Baran keeps possession for a flown town, and that one's over the top of Adam Lenin.
So just to throw into cabin Teeley but Athlone town pressing them into this corner, I think that was commentator's nightmare in terms of good technician from money that that was a poor free kick.
Shane Barnes trying to hold it up but crowded out as his Paul Fox.
And here's Manning again now Baran turning away from hospital, very good feet that time from Scott Delaney, the skipper.
Now it's two came off Carlin at long, looking for a free kick for a hand ball, but they didn't get it Latif are flicking it on.
Should be Cori Chambers just managing to prevent that from going behind.
But a couple of dangerous moments and ah, cabin teeny need to be wary.
Yeah, it was good defending, to be fair, like Keeper was on his toes there and you had to flick on to be fair.
Cori Chambers going long over the head of Kinsella.
I think that's what we spoke about that keeps kicking it long on.
You're trying to win that first flick, and if you win the first flick, you know it sets all the players going forward and an offensive motion.
So you've done well.
They've done well.
The two lads, I have to say up front, they've competed well against that back for and particularly two bigs and a half Lloyd Bucky just getting in for Cavin TV.
But again, clever football in the middle from Athlone Town.
And this time he's onside.
It's Lee Duffy away.
Can he put Athlone ahead? Great save by Curry Chambers, but the referee points to the spot.
I thought Chambers got the ball, but not according to referee Oliver morning.
That is one major controversial moment in this game.
I think Chambers definitely got the ball, but I think he's given the penalty for Carolyn's late challenge after, well, Chambers coming across to the assistant on this side.
Paul Norton, to plead his case.
But I don't like the referees for changing here.
It's gonna be a penalty to Athlone Town.
Sensational moment in this game.
Cori Chambers went down so well.
Look like you got a clean hand on it.
But maybe, like you said, the penalty was given for the other challenge.
Definitely think Chambers got a hand on that and that was a fantastic safe from him.
And then it was Caroline who was trying to get back in a well, I think just clipped him.
So a chance for Athlone Town to take a shock lead in stride. Brooke.
And it's a really well struck penalty by Ronan Manning to put Athlone town ahead from the penalty spot.
Manning gets his sixth goal off the year comfortably at long towns. Top scorer.
It's common TD New Athlone Town one.
Yeah, good finish, I have to say for money.
Well, it's been a very even game so far, but just in the last five minutes.
Athlone town have been playing the better football in the middle of the pitch on duh, they've managed to get their nose ahead.
So it's a really important our of football ahead of cabin Taylor, who badly need to turn this one around.
I think really now is not the panic.
Don't think will panic.
To be fair, all experience that he has just settle back into it.
They played okay, there's been looking in the game.
I'll just be a bit worried about that.
Ball through the middle is gone once or twice now.
The center house.
We've got caught flat forward.
You know, they don't need to be covering each other that well, so they'd have to have a little bit more communication with with each other.
Can Montini trying to get back on the attack? But it's Lenin who wins it back for Athlone Town and then gives it away.
Ask for trying to get onto it in the middle on that will beat Lee Duffy to the touch line.
Was there a yellow card in that penalty incident? I wasn't quite sure if if the referee issued one there, did you spot it No, I don't think you did.
I think all the commotion was who actually give the penalty away in the end.
And I definitely think it was Caroline.
Good play by consider, but unable to get past two.
So just to throw into cabin Teeley extraordinary change in the form of the green and white.
Seven games without defeat, Six wins and a draw in the league had them several points clear at the top of Division one.
But since then, it's gone horribly wrong.
Four defeats in a row, including that cup reversal in Danamon Park against the Premier Division's Bohemians.
And now here they are.
Kneel down to the side of the bottom, but Kinsler is free.
Kick is dangerous, and it's a great save, and the chief is onto it.
There's no flag.
It will count on cavity in your back on terms.
Just a couple of minutes after going behind on, Christian Latifah gets the all important goal.
Yeah, following up from a header from one of the center house.
I think it was Caroline again.
That's his toward headed.
He's had a chance there on, uh, it was obviously set piece again.
I mean, That's why they play the set piece earlier on and play.
Try to play it down the line.
They've got so many players in the box that dangerous set pieces and very good finish, I have to say from Latif Christianity for his first goal of the campaign.
On what an important moment as cabin till you get back on terms 26 minutes the penalty to Manning 29th minute on its cabin.
Teeley back on terms and certainly that will be a huge boost to not just ALS the players on the pitch but everybody involved with Cabin TV football club.
Yeah, I need to press on, though from here support to respond so quickly and they did just to add to what you were saying earlier in relation to the fact that they lost a couple of games.
I think I was more concerned with the mail, the goals that we can see on the manner of the goals that we concede because they were poor from some players.
But to be fair they started this game very well and hopefully now they can that goal of setting them down.
Referee gives the free kick against Kieran Marty Waters for that challenge on Scott Delaney.
Well, clearly, defending is not something that Athlone Town have been doing very well this season.
They've conceded more goals than any other side in division one, and Adrian Carvey was saying to me, They're playing some very good football bus.
There's too many errors at the back.
It'll be interesting to see now if cab until you can exploit that.
Andi just put some pressure on this Athlone town defenses, see if they crack.
We've seen the danger now that that loan have, that's on the counter attack, and they've done it well in the last 10 minutes.
Good ball into the center.
Kieran Marty Waters.
Back to Aspell, now Kinsella on Buckley with the cross headed away by Delaney, but can until you win it back quickly and they're moving the ball nicely.
Now here's Fox, nicely down the side to Carlin, Cross dangerous towards that near post, and they've got the corner.
So good pressure this from Cabin Talia's.
They try to make it a couple of goals in a very short space of time.
Alex Hospital doing very well.
They're just kept the pressure back on playing a white seems to be a decent player.
And once they get into boxes well, for carbon TV, well, a little bit of a mist ake thereby at Karen Marty Waters.
I have to question that.
Now that I mean, you know, put the ball in the box.
They've had 34 chances every time they put the ball in the box and they're gonna they're trying to play it short there. Just about torture, Marty.
He's better than that.
Later scores in other Division one games go over United have taken the need against Shamrock Rovers to, as they call them, Shane Duggan.
The skipper with the all important goal on 25 minutes on may be a little bit of a shock down in Fairy Carrick Park because Wexford have taken the lead against Bray Wanderers.
That would be a huge result of stayed like that for cabin daily.
Carl Fit Simon's with the goal on 23 minutes.
So one nil to both home teams in the other games in Division one on Dundalk have also taken the lead in the Premier division.
Two nil up now again, Shelburne goals from Michael Duffy and Brian Garland to put the champions in the clear.
You nearly think wins every game called Final at this moment.
And with Bray, Wanderers losing and cabin Teeley now drawing on.
I was speaking to Fat before the game.
He was mentioning to me that there is some dispute on about whether Wexford had played an ineligible player in that nil all draw against Cab until earlier in the season.
And if that's the case, and if the FBI find that that is, in fact, what happened? Well, then that match will be awarded to carbon teeny, which will give them an extra couple of points.
So you never know.
They may be in a better position than they think they are.
It's Latifah who's going to get to this before Manning on Cori Chambers, happy just to put it out of play.
Playing into that very stiff breeze in this first half, chew with the throw in, Manning always looks comfortable on the ball, but Latifa following around the pitch, trying to keep in tight.
He is a dangerous one for Curry Chambers to deal with.
On my word, it almost fell in.
I think Buckley managed to get his foot to it and it's just a corner.
Well, that looping cross almost caught curry chambers out but cab until you can breathe again.
I think Curry Chambers got Lloyd Buckley to tank there.
It just bends down on the line.
And to be fair, he just got a hook on a clear for a corner.
Well, that's the kind of thing that can happen, just a moment's concentration loss.
And all of a sudden the ball can end up in the back of your own net.
I think the wind played a part in that.
It just seemed to loop up and then wind color curry.
James just got under it like and luckily, he got hand to it.
Yeah, and good awareness from Buckley to be there.
But here comes the corner towards the far post, and Dugan couldn't get to it.
It was just a little bit too high for him.
So behind harmlessly for the goal kick and cabin, Teeley could breathe again.
I don't care, and God was looking for the penalty.
There definitely would have happened in my time.
I think he just fell to the ground very easy.
Could defending again from Cavatelli.
Well, you'd have to say Aaron has been a very open and exciting game of football, and both sides have contributed a lot to this match so far.
We knew to be goals, and I still think there's gonna be more golden ass full.
Heads it on Kinsler trying to get there.
But it's Ah, Karen Grogan, who gets it forward on the off side flag, is raised against Duffy.
A lot of offsides in this game.
Four against Athlone Town to against Bray Wanderers on.
We haven't even got to have time yet.
I think it's called that right.
The linesman cleared by Delaney Buckley beaten.
Now Manning, who runs into the challenge of Alex Ospel just to throw into Athlone.
He puts in a shift that example.
To be fair to him, he's been all over the park for Carbon Taylor in the middle, Brooks squeezing it forward.
Mark Moran quickly closed down.
Marty Waters down the side.
Kinsler, can you get there? That's good.
Good play by young counselor.
You definitely looks a trap.
Cancel on that right hand side and I think they start.
They need to get a ball into him as quickly as they can as often as they can send your time for Latifah.
But Chambers says, I'll deal with it, and then the kick isn't the best, but Apple conflict.
It on pitch is very lively.
It seems to have firmed up a lot in the last week or so on that.
Some of the bounces are making it difficult for the players, but they're doing their best.
There's some really good football being played in Stroud book tonight.
Luckily long down the line, that's Barnes battling on the far side and a little bit robust in the challenge free kick to Athlone Town six and one.
I think that was not.
It always seems if there's a tackle from behind, the referee's gonna blow his whistle.
When you went down very easy, they're going to be fairly 644 Santa half So Cabin Teeley one Athlone Town one.
I think for ****'s needs needs to do that, talking in a little bit more to help it.
When that may feel, particularly in the bars on the fireside.
That's Paul Fox, number 11 on the halfway line in the center circle over the head of Buckley Latifah on the cover, but you should be able to let this one run out.
Lloyd Buckley, who was injured earlier in the season, back into the side tonight just his third start of the campaign.
Former Athlone town player.
He was signed the beginning of last year to all the way back Paul Fox closing in on goalkeeper Aaron Miles to seem to be pulled by Barnes, but he's allowed to continue on one well by Jack Connolly.
And now it's Carlin who couldn't quite keep it in.
He thought it might have been on the line, but the assistant over here on this side calling a throw in Paul Norton, which, after all in town, get on with quickly.
And here's Duffy trying to get inside Latifa and still does.
But the big center back gets is blocking.
Surely that was a foul by Manning, and then the referee gives it against a spell.
Well, that's infuriating for the cabin TV players, because I thought Manning had committed the first file there. What did you think? Absolutely.
Yeah, I think you're right there.
Stephen Manning definitely committed force.
You just track them back on the shoulder.
Well, seven minutes to a half time and a free kick in a dangerous position.
This we know what Manning could do.
Very good technical player, and it's, Ah, he and Jack Reynolds standing over this free kick and once again, ah, cab until you've got all their men behind the ball.
I think if I was, Reynolds now will be trying running off after his last attempt and taken it myself.
Cori Chambers covering the right side of the goal, the wall covering the left.
It's Manning on that big war does its job again.
I like hearing Marty Waters was trying to get Shane Barnes away, but that one's gone out of play.
I don't think it be taking the next for you. Kick money.
So just over five minutes to the interval, Manning's penalty canceled out.
The teeth is sharpness in the box, cleared by Delaney, Lovely skilled by Reynolds, now Baran.
And here's Dogan now Delaney con and puts it out Adam.
Then it would come in off the line, but he's still there in receipt of choose throw in.
Just kept in no foul against Carlin.
Here's Fox, the early ball looking for Kieran.
Marty Waters, You need to play that ball into Marty Walters feet.
He's never going to get that ball down the channel.
Good skill there, both by Ronan Manning and bye, Connor Keeley on its Keeley, Who wins the free kick can cab until we find a way to turn this around before halftime.
Kinsler with this throw in plenty of Athlone town bodies back there on Buckley winds.
The throw in off Baran.
Big effort. Now from comment.
What's required between now and the brake.
It's gonna break for Apple, who's in a defensive midfield position, flicked on by dog and one backed by a spell again.
And now it's Baran.
And here's Reynolds.
No money driving through the center on the through ball to Duffy, the flag raised.
That was a close one.
Okay, again between Manning and Duffy there, they're so good at connecting.
I think he does well.
He actually charges through the middle, and he skipped on the two tackles.
He played a lovely violin for Duffy, but it definitely was offside.
Well, there's been a big turnaround in Dundalk, believe it or not, Daniel Byrne and Georgie, pointing with a penalty, have brought it back level 22 after just 24 minutes in Oriole Park.
Quite a game for the armchair fans tonight that one live on TV.
But here live on the cabin TD stream or watching the side that is lead division one for so much of this season, going behind against Athlone Town but coming back strongly to get the equalizer.
And as we approach halftime, that's the way it is.
Cabin TD one, Athlone Town one.
In what's been a very entertaining game, you seem to create a little bit more off chances through the middle of the park.
It alone? No, they're about that, like on the carpet, Ilya relying on the set pieces at the moment.
Well, Athlone town with four up front to aim out here for goalkeeper Erin Mild.
But Buckley is the one who wins it in the air.
Now here's Kinsella nicely onto Connolly.
Could strong challenge, though, wins it back for Athlone Town.
And now it's Jack Reynolds Tough.
He tried to flick it inside, but couldn't quite.
I couldn't quite pull that one off, and it's the throw in going to Athlone Town, so approaching half time, Adrian Car Breeze team are certainly showing an awful lot of confidence, considering they have not a win for over a year in the in division one league play.
I don't think it doesn't seem to be any pressure on the meat.
I think everybody's expecting them to lose here and they can play with no, you know, with no fear.
To a degree, I think all the pressures on cabin teeny Reynolds cross flicked past his own defenders by Aspen and has gone behind for the corner to Athlone Town.
Dangerous moment, certainly showing, Ah, a very positive streak tonight, Athlone Town.
Now it's really important for Cavin TT, too.
Just keep their concentration and make sure they clear.
Their lines were into the one minute of at a time at the end of the first half, Manning putting Athlone town ahead on 26 minutes.
Latifah three minutes later, with the Cavern Teeley equalizer.
Poor position from Lloyd Buckley near post.
Gonna watch for runners coming across him, so he's gotta be on his toes. Here.
Karen Grogan, the former Cavan Teeley player.
He's prominent, but the corner was poor for once.
The delivery, not what you would have expected on DIT sailed over everybody for a goal kick to cabin Tilly.
And that should be the last action off.
What's been a very good first half your thoughts, Erin? Yeah, I think it's an evening and even enough matching at this stage on, uh, I talked up until he started the better side.
The goal came against the run of play for it alone.
But they play, you know, they'd be neat and tidy in and around the middle of Pac Man, India's standing player for them.
But, you know, it was important to come until you go back in the game, particularly after conceding that goal on there.
I still I still think second, half of the wind in our favor, Um, you know, come in here and come out on D make it make a big difference.
Kinsler did well to keep that in, but it's a Athlone town with the possession Duffy, with the flick to Manning on this Manning again, driving forward and finding Jack Reynolds.
Can he finish great save Cori Chambers to keep it at 11 very close to offside there, but they just managed to break the trap.
And now, here comes alone again.
Send it back to his left back.
But that's the final whistle of the first half.
And it's honors, even in Stroud.
Brooke as halftime on drone and Manning from the penalty spot, putting the town ahead after 26 minutes when Carlin seemed to commit the foul.
After Cori Chambers made a wonderful savers, Duffy got through the middle.
And then three minutes later, the free kick.
Ah, up the head of Carlin.
A brilliant save by goalkeeper our Miles.
But it was Latifah who was first to the loose ball to put the ball in the net on at half time.
Here in Stroud broke it's cabin Tilly one afternoon, town one.
I'm gonna leave you in the capable I was gonna say the capable hands, but the capable voices of Aaron Callahan on Jason Byrne.
How are you, Jason? Why don't have you how your thoughts on the first half? Um, yes.
If it is uneven off game, I think both teams had a fair share of the play.
Commentary started very brightly.
Um, especially on the left hand side.
You got a lot of joy down the side, but I think this is.
Actually, we stopped doing that, Um on after that came along and got into the into the game a little bit money.
Then money shot down from the field.
And from coming to the point of view, just a lot of balls going on between the two center center, half on that ball, over the top of coffee.
He's making a great two great runs on, but he says we're playing in the middle of the field defense and cause a lot of problems for them in that traditional 10 isn't he's not actually playing as a striker money, and he has been dangerous, particularly when he's been running at the two center house.
But they need a little bit more communication between them.
Is it the case that they're not talking enough? Is it the case? In my opinion, they look a little bit flat on.
I always think that if we send a half is nearest the ball has to give that 5 10 yards, bit of support, just things apart because we spoke about earlier on that plane basically four defenders on Behalf Force and a half in defense, so why not just narrow in on left the balls go away If you have you spoke well but 6 ft odd that the ball is coming from the boxing to deal with.
Come to the box so that probably one up in front of but you can't replace, Manning says.
I have picked up off the ball a lot, especially because you have an extra man on the field as well.
So that is called a lot of problems there.
When the officers cited, I taught the front two for card until you have caused it.
It's and a half a lot of problems, and they were linking in very well, particularly the 1st 15 20 minutes.
Yes, it's as expected, is the way I suppose, Um, especially down the years that Devin has played especially one opening up a brain stuff without to play with the tool front won't dropping off like Steven Fox or the tires.
It was a case of welcoming short on one, going around on the band on band, bending our own Sorry and then I said that they start off, they're gonna Marty Waters and the young battlefront, but then the balls you start a little bit of the quality of the balls weren't good moved from, especially from the Lattimore field.
I think Colin is against the game a little bit more, Andi and as well as being pregnant, a lot of the Plame affair has been doing it.
Well, put this quality. The bar just needs a little bit better.
You just think when the other possession.
So obviously, when I don't have the ball that the two wings is just a little bit too wide.
And given the two midfield players from carb until just a little extra work particularly, they've got the tree in there.
Yeah, especially with the extra man M.
If you want to get the two boys, uh, radio just now the when? When we don't have the ball.
And then obviously that one of the center for we need to drop in into the deepest midfielders.
Well, just happen with field, because three, I cannot run a little bit.
Um, point saying that I mean, Farrah forever.
The chance came from one long ball straight to the middle.
So you need to deal with the ball up.
Top it all, and you think like with eight games to go.
Now the pressure seems to be on capital.
You mean they They're playing with a little bit of freedom because they have won a game.
They've had to Jaws all season.
They're just playing ball is if they open the pack.
But the pressure is on Capitol.
Ian, you know, you've been in this situation.
I've been in a situation where you've been under pressure on it's important that you just win the game.
Yeah, every game is a six pointer on, not only for the point, it's for the conference going to the next match.
Um, I just said, like winning is I have a solid lives and so you don't want to get into that into that little mentality, and then you know the negative voyage, then becoming address in which you don't need Yeah, so you need a bit of positivity.
And obviously the most positive thing is getting a gold right away.
When you consider the front of penalty spot.
I like that 44 to I have to say, I think it's you know, a lot of players know I understand the roles on the positions within it on.
I think it's, you know, is a sign that maybe 442 that's gonna stick with that over the next three or four games.
As I said, it's just need the way you play especially.
But as I said, Well, when I was there, we just need to start a little tidal, but a bit more because it starts from there.
Once you have that base from walk on, considering our goals on go front and because they the kids on the wing look very lively little torches tell us a phone.
Just Neto, I suppose, mixed up the rooms a little bit because you have Fox and left and saw it, which he will not you just call a ball around.
But then you have Kensi, which is left for us.
Welcome to the story.
So I just need the time you want a little bit on the part of the box of algae called as Well.
Okay, thank you very much, Jason.
We'll touch base during the game on there.
Let's hope that come in here and get a better result in the second half, I'll be developed.
Welcome back to Straw Brooke, where both sides are preparing for the second half.
Athlone town First out, off the dressing rooms.
Erin, what do you think Pat Devon has to do to cement the the positivity? That cab until you have had on thio, get them going forward and get those winning girls? Well, I think if you on attacking perspective, you need to get the two fullbacks forward.
A little bit more on that will be allowed to wingers to talk in a little bit.
Maura's well on.
Different to what I have to say.
I've been working well, all right now, they haven't had put the last 15 minutes of the first half.
They didn't really get on the bubble for the 1st 25 minutes of the first half.
I think the two strikers were causing alone loads of problems.
So can you get the full backs forward? That'll be the question to be asking, and then when they don't have the ball, I definitely want to see those two wingers took it into the middle of midfield area on protected to central midfield players that capital you have because they have been over one of times in there with the treatment alone.
Well, it's a hugely controversial moment that gave Athlone town the lead on 26 27 minutes.
When that penalty was given away, we thought it was a super saved by Cori Chambers.
We believe from, uh, the FBI's observer here that perhaps Curry chambers got a yellow card.
I missed that in all of the excitement on If that's the case, he's been very hardly done by, hasn't he? Uh, I have to say he definitely got the ball from where we were looking on.
We thought it was a recovering the family.
We gave away the penalty in the end.
So you know it, Z just one of those things.
I think maybe the referee got got a wrong decision on the night.
So here we go with the wind at Cabin Tilly's back, playing from left to right in the second half, Athlone town in their change strip of orange and black will kick it off.
Andi uhh! 45 minutes.
Ah, very important Division One football, especially for Cabin Teeley who really do need the wind, too, cement their place in the top four on tonight.
In the other games at halftime, it's one nil to go where united over Shamrock Rovers, and it's one nil toe Wexford at home to Bray Wanderers.
So that could be quite a significant result on this 11th day of September.
Well, it makes up three points tonight.
Even more important for carbon TV, they could make a statement with a win tonight.
So it's that alone town to get the first free kick off the second half.
And it's, Ah, left back David Brooks.
Who's gonna take it plenty forward here for Athlone.
You've got six players in and around the penalty area.
Brooks swings it in.
Latifa missed it at the back post, but Paul Fox is there to clear as Faras Kieran.
Marty Waters, who's got two on his back on the right back, did really well.
Yeah, assistant on this near side has signaled for on off side against cabin Taney.
So Marty, doing well there? He kept the ball and you kept it at his feet and then he's trying to hook the ball over the line.
Well, the goalkeeper in Ah, the goal away to the right is changing his shirt.
That's the Athlone town goalkeeper, Aaron Miles.
He was wearing a yellow shirt.
I think when he came out, but now he's switching to a black one.
Neither of those colors would clash with anybody else on the pitch, but that's a strange one.
It looks like a referee. No.
Yeah, all in black with the yellow socks.
Two referees hardly ever wear black these days.
There they have all sorts of colors.
We've seen them in pink we've seen them in.
I think it's just another talk he's doing.
He's just sticking on an extra layer.
It is pretty chilly in Strasbourg tonight, just that autumnal field to the air.
It's probably only about 12 degrees at game time, and then stiff breeze blowing into that go away to our right.
Where are in Miles will be hoping that he can keep a clean sheet.
Andi, maybe do something that will let increase at Lone Towns points total by at least 50%.
Should they draw 150% if they win, and here they come on the attack.
But Latifah gets it away only as Faras Chew decides to go for gold and runs into the challenge of Conley.
No changes for either site at halftime, of course, up to five substitutes allowed, so that we could see really revolving door situation is this game unfolds.
Bronze ball forward, dealt with by Carlin, held up well, Manning goes down the challenge by Conley.
The free kick to Athlone town, Another dangerous position for cab until you got caught on the wrong side there, Conley on, there was definitely a free kick.
It's intriguing, I have to say to look at the two systems.
I mean the 442 off Carbon Tilly going forward.
But defensively, they just give him too much possession away may feel for my liking and yet again that Pat Devlin tactic of bringing every single player back behind the ball at a free kick or a corner means that they've got nobody upfront should they want to break quickly? But it's Lee Duffy standing over this free kick on.
After Manning missed a couple in the first half, its Duffy, who sent it sailing over the crossbar but don't know why Jack Reynolds not on down for a loan, he looks a trap.
It was over the force field with really mining, but he didn't he didn't get involved in that one.
Here comes that loan towns first change Onda Coming on is John Morgan on going off his young Jack Reynolds.
So it's John Morgan, 29 year old center forward from signed from Wexford last year.
A player who was described by Adrian Carberry is being extremely versatile, and he's coming on to replace Jack Reynolds, who had a good game on the left side for Athlone Town.
I can only think that's an injury, because you certainly wouldn't be making a change in a few minutes into the second half.
So it looks like an injury.
One over the top for cabin Teeley to chase on its put out of play by Scott to Lady was a good bar that was actually a good pass down the line from Lloyd Buckley got the Atlanta town defense turned and says, Right now, Kinsella loses out.
The touch from Duffy was good and away he goes manning good vision from Manning Dogan, and now chew on the cross is dangerous but well swept away by Keely.
And it's one back again on a chance which was half blocked.
Anna Lenin, with the opportunity easy saving the end for Chambers, Al example miss an important tackle there.
I was brilliant from marshy waters and maybe a chance here for Shane Barnes.
But the covering player did.
Well, that was Karen Grogan.
The former cabin teeny man gets the block in at the expense of a corner chances at either end.
Well, that's the front to working well for capital again.
I just like my mind.
You always drops into that little space, plays a little around the corner and to get a little combination playing on.
And that was very good.
Play good defending by the bigs and a half.
So corner number 44 cabin teeny and a great save.
Miles, Miles putting it over the bar after Skipper Connor.
Katie must have thought he'd scored.
You have to score their free header five yards out.
Save. I have to save from the keeper on miles.
It was a good header from Katie.
He kept it down.
Just couldn't get it away from the goal keeper.
Now it's Kinsler swinging it in.
Had clear by Delaney on it will be a throw into cab until you Now, as they keep up the pressure with the wind behind Karen Marty Water is getting into the penalty area.
He was loitering there in an offside position from the throw in.
Very clever play.
It was a quick troll.
Cut the Atlanta on defense off guard on the sharp like that.
You look sharp tonight.
Marty just needs one chance.
Kieran. Marty Waters.
He showed it time and time again.
Really? Fox in the box for cabin Teeley on so many other clubs.
I haven't seen his old time top scorer.
I think cancer is put in territory.
Really excellent corners for carbon Tilly.
And they've had a chance.
And every one of them Buckley sending it forward quickly.
Here's Bereano Hospital Quickly in.
It looked like it was a good challenge, but again the referee gives the free kick triple change coming up for cabin Teeley over on that far side you might be able to see, but it won't happen yet.
I think the referee got that wrong again There.
That was a good tackle from hospital on.
If you know that play Go on.
Marty Walters was true.
Down goes to no free kick this time.
No Baran Back to Grogan, headed away by Carlin.
Flicked on by Conley, but Baran looks good with the ball at his feet.
Nice ball, sending it out wide.
Maybe another chance here for Athlone Town.
It wasn't far away, almost curled into the top corner by Tom Erdogan.
Yeah, technically, he's just trying to get into the top corner inside the right for just missed.
But the way the second half of started, I have to say, Steve, and it looks like there's gonna be goals over.
And at this stage, here come those changes for Pat Devlin.
First off is Buckley Apple, also going replaced by Dylan Thornton.
That's Mitchell born, gone in it, right back for Buckley.
I think Fox has gone as well on the other one.
Is that Robert done? So it's all the changes for Cabinet 80.
Will they have the required effect? I'll leave you to work it out Exactly what that's going to mean for the cabin T V formation.
I think it's Marty.
Walter's going off if I'm right and he's put Fox away on the left.
Robert Dons coming from Shane Bonds going through the center now with Robbie Done, number 17.
Here comes Connor, Keeley that was optimistic from about 40 m.
Ah, I think middle borns come in for a stress offer.
Low Buckley and he's been playing in midfield for commentary.
Technically, he's being a good player.
Well, certainly didn't.
Thornton is playing just in front of the back four.
Always difficult for US commentators when three changes happen.
At the same time, the system hasn't changed for coming TV.
Still, he's still going with the 442 all over the top to Duffy catches thesis for forward offside.
Yeah, Mitchell burn in as a right back.
We've seen him play all over the place for cabin TD.
There was one game recently where he played in three different positions in the one game not forward there, but at Lone Towns defense standing firm, which is not something that we've said too often this season.
Mitchell Burn, finding concealer, loves to come in on that left foot of his.
They need to up the tempo slightly now come until you with the tree changes well, you'd expect an injection of energy, all right, with all those new players.
Here comes Kinsella, not a bad effort from long range Stephen Kinsella trying to make his mark on his first start for the club.
A lovely strike just a little bit too high.
The new play from born and cancel on the right hand side.
This situation here with the two, the two ringers, I think a little bit too high there for coming tea leaves.
You just drop in, particularly for the goalkeeper's kicking play level.
With those midfield players on, it's only down when they can win the ball, they could go forward.
It's a brave move.
I have to say from plan because he's keeping the forefront well, it's not quite Winner busted this stage of the season, but certainly a win would be a huge boost to Pat Tevlin and his squad as they face into the last seven games off the league season.
They definitely up the temple here.
There's no Alberta playing a little bit more aggression a little bit quicker, getting the ball in behind the danger and for that is that they get caught on the counter attack.
Certainly can t v starting to get on top in the middle, Cancel er, sliding it down the side for Shane Barnes, who's got Grogan between him and the Gulf to players who know each other well from the time that they spent here together in cabin Teeley, Onda Grogan, the winner on that occasion.
He's doing very well.
He's just let the ball when l play there.
I don't think it's ever gonna match them physically.
Parents, to be fair, flicked on towards done.
Who was beaten in the air by Delaney to send it forward could cut out by the tea, For that was important because Duffy was on his shoulder now Cavin teeny trying to press that loan into the corner.
Robert John winning the throw in.
You look to play a quick trial here again.
If you switched off, Mitchell born can move forward and play in the middle of the park.
There, in comes the cross doesn't quite make it through to consider, but they get the corner instead, which, by my reckoning, is that Cabin TD's fifth of the game.
Dangerous moment again.
And if the deliveries as good as a husband and this is another opportunity for car mentally complicated, tallest man on the pitch, he'll be one of the targets that was Dogan diving in at the near post Mitchell Burn, claiming a Carlin rather claiming that maybe Dogan fouled him.
But referee, just telling the cabin TD left back to calm down.
He'll make the decisions, and that's the way it should be.
One man in charge, only one man with the whistle.
I still think it was a good challenge.
No, what flicked on by Dogan might break that one for John Morgan, but he gives it away.
Headed forward by David Brooks Tiefer clears only as far as Manning, who hasn't had as much influence in the game since halftime.
But he is fouled that time by Jack Connolly, and that's going to give the free kick to Athlone Town.
Jack Moran sending it out wide, but it's cleared by Carlette two nice feet.
Here's money trying to flick it inside the fullback but didn't quite pull it off.
Now it's at Brooks.
No offside against Duffy.
This time on, the crunching challenge comes into clear.
The cabin Teeley lines did on Thornton with that tackle, Um, well, Dylan there with just one that was a clever ball, wasn't it? From Manning, driven in low and almost catching the cabin teeny defense doing Well, Kentucky, We just got a big toe on it.
I think that air ball into Robert done.
Oh, there was no offside there again. Shane Barnes.
He had the right idea there.
Robbie done those two barns and done look like they're, ah, developing a good partnership up front.
Um, Artie Waters was withdrawn.
You have surprised with that? But I mean, I'll be doing a little bit bigger, a little bit taller, so he's gonna cause him a little bit more problems, particularly in the ail deals already ball over the top.
Brooks under pressure from Barnes doing well, their shine Barnes doing well on That's how to play for a throw in two.
Cavan Teeley have certainly been better since halftime, and those changes have made a difference.
Mitchell burn then to take the throw in when he gets it back from Barnes.
And now it's Connolly on Thornton helping it onto Karlan.
Plenty of time for Brooks, but he heads it straight to Connolly.
Here's Kinsella dangerous cross.
So the goalkeeper almost let it through What he did, let it through his fingers, but could have gone anywhere.
And in the end, just a corner to cavatelli, but a scary moment that for Aaron Miles Mitchell, born with a great overlap there Tolo concert to come inside the norm across the top.
Beekeepers should have just taken about a narrow really, and he's giving him another chance from a set piece.
Here it comes, and it's Keeley with the header, and I think that might have been taken away from the gold by his own man.
But the referee has spotted it coming off a defender.
It's gonna be another corner to cabin Taylor, who already taking the game to Athlone town as they must, uh, desperately in need.
I think that was Brooks on the on the wind on the near post Brooks on the near post, and that's why you put players on the near post.
Good had a or the delivery is dangerous, and Latifah when it came to him awfully quickly, off enough long town defender and he couldn't quite adjust himself.
But it just seems that any dead ball situations around that Athlone town penalty area could lead to something dramatic for commentating.
Well, they've had a chance in every single corner that he put in still one nil in the other two games in Division One goal.
The United one, Shamrock Rovers two Nil on Wexford one.
Bray Wanderers nil.
And as things stand with the results as they are, it would be drawing the United on top level on points with Bray Wanderers on cabin TD, all on 20 points long for town and 19 yet to play this weekend and UCD and Cove on 17 also with a game in hand goal, the United getting closer.
That's offside again.
Still in Thornton had made the run forward from deep midfield, so you play from cancel again on the right, outside and in the Premier Division.
It's still too, too, at the start of the second half, Dundalk to Shelburne, too, in the Premier Division.
So lots of goals in Irish football tonight and I'm venture to suggest we have a few more here.
I definitely agree, Stephen, I can't see a staying like this.
There's too many chances on too many opportunities going for both teams, really, but definitely come until you have started the second half with a little bit more intent, little more endeavor.
I think they seem to the tree changes definitely made on improvement.
Then they're gonna make another one here.
Here comes their fourth change in the 65th minute.
Gotta hand it to Pat Devlin.
He certainly used this bench, and it's see a top scorer.
Shane Barnes, who's going off looks as if Fox has gone up front.
Didn't quite see who that was.
He was coming on.
Did you spot that number there? I will see in a second.
Done losing out to Brooks.
Manning did well played behind Dogan, but he's got some support in that far.
Aside from Adam Lenin, Here's Manning.
Good challenge challenge.
I think that's currently being Casey.
Come on, Number 22 playing on the left hand side.
Well, Athlone Town certainly haven't been in any way playing second fiddle tonight.
They've given us good as they've got, but can come until we find a way to get all three points here.
That's a free kick against it and Thornton for that challenge on Duggan, you have to say, at least Pats giving it a goal.
I think he understands the importance of trying to win the game on, hence the changes that he's made in case he's gone on that left hand side on this push Fox upfront.
We're done manning to Dogan.
Here's Duffy, but he's too many white shirts between him and the go.
I think they do not very well.
Second half, they've never looked at me.
Feel they haven't been the track they have been in The second half is they were in the first half.
Good battling play there by Cavan Teeley on a clever ball forward towards Robert Dunn, who was sliding in but couldn't quite get there.
Here's the Athlone town substitute Morgan, and now it's Adam Lenin, Carlin.
Between him and the goal.
That's good play from cabin Teeley.
Rob, done trying to hold off Grogan inside, finds Connolly a lot of space on that far side for Casey.
Former Bohemians player nicely played inside and outside and done going for that one.
But that was Grogan, in his way in the center of Ike, has gone down.
Referee should stop play here.
That was a head injury.
Cannot believe he didn't stop the game quicker because it was quite clear there was a clash of heads as those two players went for the high ball done and Kiran Grogan.
I don't think he's saying Stephen, to be fair.
I think it was, you know, at his back.
And to be fair, it would've been interesting if they scored a goal there.
Well, the way the two players went in done was coming from the left, and Grogan was coming from the right.
Neither of them were gonna pull out of that challenge.
Quite clearly, Grogan came off worst on that occasion, but he looks like he's OK, Thank goodness, I think the difference for me second half, it seemed the two fullbacks from Carpentier to get forward a lot more.
Maybe that's because of the changes.
And I know Mittal Born who has played midfield.
He's certainly getting forward on helping cancel on the right hand side.
And Caroline seems to be getting forward a little bit more on the left hand side, which is given more opportunities for carbon Tilly in and around the penalty areas, which is exactly what you said they needed to do when you were having a chat with Jason at halftime and ah, spot on Eric old head for the hard road I don't know about all had now.
You're not as old as I am, that's for sure.
You know what doing these matches isn't.
It doesn't make you feel so young.
It's It's such It's such a privilege and a pleasure as always to be calling the game in these very strange times.
I agree with you there, Stephen.
Nice ball over the top by Morgan, but Cori Chambers right out to the edge of his penalty area.
To get that just 20 minutes on a little bit more to go.
Come on, can until you can. You get the winner.
That's what you need.
I think the dominance and and carbon tell in the second half is seen.
Chambers hasn't made one save in the second half.
Little Karen Grogan wasn't taking any prisoners there straight out of play on the throne and being taken from the wrong place.
But the referee seems to be allowing Mitchell Burn, who's now getting forward into the right position.
Consider that's better, finds Connolly, who's got time to get the cross in.
But then a really good block down by young Baran, who's been very good for Athlone town.
Still in Thornton working hard and winning that throw in, which can nt Do you want to get on with quickly? Well, that's a pity.
You've got the momentum.
You want to keep it going.
No straight passes like that.
Here's Brooks now. Baran.
No Manning, whose influence has waned a little since halftime, and he's lost out there to the challenge of Thornton.
But look, he's got it back now.
Baran into the feet of Dogan.
Here's Lenin and now to let it run through to Baran Lenin.
Hell of a challenge that by Thornton, which was heading back towards his own goal off the head of Brooks.
I bet he's seeing stars after that one.
Here's Meron, now chew.
Down goes the full back, and it's Carlin who was sliding in.
He was in trouble here.
That's all. Yellow card. Bad challenge.
It was a late challenge, and when a big guy takes down a little guy, it always looks worse.
So the third yellow card of the game for cabin Terry Latifa, Aunt Chambers getting the yellows in the first half, and now it's Carlin.
The last two or 33 kicks from this area at land have been very port of all hit the wall.
So we're going to try something different here.
You know, two or three of the corners in the first half.
They've been looking for the Black Post for the big man around the back post, so be interesting to see what they do here.
It's about 25 yards from goal in the dangerous position.
Again, Duggan's the one standing over the free kick.
The wall doesn't look like it's back.
The full distance referee insisting that they retreat a couple of meters keep it needs to be strong here.
Chamber is making sure that Wall is covering his left hand post Dogan to take it on its sales over the crossbar.
Relief for Cavatelli, who can breathe again in poor execution.
I'm dog in there, then a little bit less intensity about Athlone Towns place since halftime.
They probably put a North a lot of effort into that first period.
They're just struggling to dominate in the middle like they did for some parts of that first half.
But that's good for cabin TD because they've been the better side since halftime.
Yeah, just one or two players and just waiting.
Fitness wise, did you? Fred alone fall into the feet of Rob Dunn, but he had Grogan biting at his heels, and it's run through to goalkeeper Aaron Miles.
Cabin Teeley persisting with this.
What seems like more like a 4 to 4 information, and they're a bit outnumbered in the middle of times, knocked forward into the spaces.
Latifah should get there before Lee Duffy, and then he just touches it out of play, taking no chances, the center back.
And that's a very clever throw it Manning with the cross.
Was it across? Wasn't a shot. I'm not sure.
Back in it comes from Morgan, headed away by Keely on Cavan.
Tilly had a scary moment.
There was Roman.
Manning almost found the way through.
I think he's definitely having a shot on goal there.
He's trying to chip the keeper Great, run by cancer.
Baran was sliding in and he's fallen Mawr awkwardly.
The flag is raised for an offside, but the referee gives, I think, a free kick against Baran for that challenge.
He's also called for outside.
I don't know where he's gonna give the free kick on the off side.
It looks as if he's gonna give the free kick in that loans favor.
Yeah, I'd love to see that chance again for Ronan Manning.
He was on in a corner of the penalty area and he just tried to chip the goalkeeper, I think, but got a bit too much curl on it.
Well, they got cut out on a quick trolling and the fireside, and he just broke between the two cents at the center, half on the fullback on.
He was definitely trying to love the keeper on.
Luckily, it was not tired.
Oh, Valentini have to keep their heads.
They've got to keep calm in this situation, as as as important as it is to get a win, it's very important to least have a point from this match.
So four substitution have been made by Pat Devlin.
Just one back at the start of the second half by Adrian Carberry.
T forgot the touch cleared up to Robbie Done, who's got two players on him.
He gets the free kick.
I know you're saying Stephen that it's important not to lose the game, but I definitely think the game is that to be one like I mean, if you know, thinking just off the temple just slightly, they just seem to drop it.
In the last 5, 10 minutes, I'd like to see Cabin TD feeling a bit more of the spaces in the middle of the park.
They're forced to go long too often.
Maybe Kinsler can get onto it here.
No, Grogan clears it away.
Here in Grogan, of course.
Former Cavan, TD player coming back to his former club, hoping that he might prevent his former site from getting this very important win.
A quarter of an hour to go, plus stoppage time.
Kinsella on the turn.
Clever with the ball at his feet.
One for done to try and get on the end of.
But Athlone town, happy to let that one go behind and see a few more seconds drift off the Clockers.
Mark Baron Hubble's away in the middle of the field.
He's been struggling since that last challenge earlier.
As you can see, that space in the middle of practice to wingers need to be just dropping in level with those midfield players.
As we said earlier on Cavan TD players just saying to the referee, Come on, there's an awful lot of time wasting going on here And certainly it has taken Aaron Miles quite a long time to get this ball back into play.
Conley miskicked it, but he got the flick on.
Brooks gets it out to Latifah, and onto it comes Karlan.
No handball used his chest could ball up the line towards Casey, but dealt with by the skipper Scott Delaney, he looks lively.
Cases Come on there, you know, still three players back, remarking one for cavity.
They could afford to get one more player into afford position.
Need to really put the pressure on.
Good ball to Keeley over the top, but not into the right space for Carlin to get on.
The end of the idea was right.
Yeah, there was path.
He's just he just overdid it there, and the wind just brought it out.
So still to to in Dundalk after 62 minutes. Oh, I tell a lie.
Dundalk have actually taken.
The lead is three to now.
Greg slog it back in.
The team today scored after 59 minutes on in Division one still one nil going out to one.
Two nil on Wexford one.
Bray Wanderers Nails.
So Kabul's big rivals from down the coast are losing with just just 15 minutes to go.
And if Karen Teel you could get the win, that would be huge.
I think of memory shares me right.
I gave Greg slowed his debut at UCD.
Lovely player. Greg slogan.
Had some injury problems of late back fit again, Thank goodness.
Five Athlone town players up in a line for this call kick from Aaron Miles.
They certainly haven't given up hope of maybe getting a winner.
Come on, cowboy, you can do it.
Off the head of Conley, flicked on by Fox to done offside is the decision that was marginal.
That was very close.
It was Dean Casey, I think, coming up on the left hand side, who was flagged offside.
I count 11 offsides so far in this game, which is quite a lot.
Final change for Pat Devlin is the introduction of Keith Dalton.
Looks like the teeth center back Latifur going off.
So that's a clear signal of intent.
Dalton, an attacking player for the center back Latifa on that is the last change that cab until you can make that look as if he's gonna create the back.
Or will he stay with the four? Just kind of quite say at the moment he's gone to the three, I think with Mitchell burn on the right hand side, Keeley in the center and Carlin on the left, that's just what they need.
They need to push more players into the middle, get their foot on the ball and start creating things again.
Another positive change from Plati.
Definitely no 15 minutes to go.
And I just less than 15 minutes since you know he sees the importance of getting the three points along town have only managed two draws this season.
One against Cavan.
Teeley Onda one against Dried United in a thrilling six gold game.
That's a good ball.
And now it's Fox driving forward on Fox's through, and that's a brilliant covering challenge by the skipper Scott Delaney.
But what a run by Paul Fox cabin Tina get on with the quickly canceled his cross falls for Thornton didn't quite have the composure required.
Got under that shot on Cavan.
Teeny looking more dangerous as this game continues.
Brilliant room from Paul Fox into the box on the offender to prepare.
Done well in the end.
But it is great to see that run through the middle of the middle of the pack, and, you know, it's it's what, along with doing to Capital in the first half.
Well, there's still plenty of time to go 81 minutes on the clock.
If cab until you can just keep pushing on like this, they will get the winner.
That's known town, who have, Ah, a record this season of giving away a lot of soft goals.
Always got out of play because of an injury picked up. Bye.
One of the cabin TV players.
I think it's Jack Connolly.
Yep, Jack Connolly just took a knock there so Cabin teeny will get the possession back.
Karen Grogan's going down twice.
Now, in the last five minutes, it looks like a bit of cramps.
So wonder will he be able to see out the game? Grogan, who has been so important at the back for Athlone town and he stayed down this time, looks like his race is run.
So just the second change of the evening for Adrian Carberry and it's Grogan is going to go off the former Cavan T Lehman
