Welcome into the broadcast.
I am is Gettleman previewing the Marlins and Atlanta Braves.
We got the pregame show right here on SportsCastr Marlins Braves you in Atlanta at Schurz Park.
They will be facing off against each other at 1 10 Eastern time.
Now with the Marlins and the Braves to N L East teams, two teams that will probably make the playoffs now for the Atlanta Braves.
They're getting close to that magic number again.
It's only a 16 game season, so that magic number is gonna come any second.
So the Braves, first in the NL East that was projected heading into this season in the Marlins, having a break out season.
I'm a big Marlins fan.
I expected this.
But for many people are really surprising team this year.
So, anyway, let's preview this game.
There will be Ian Anderson for the Braves, facing off against Jose Urena, who hasn't pitched one inning this season, and that's because he was part of the Marlins covert outbreak.
He had co vid 19 so he will be pitching today, his first start this season, and he always faces off against the Braves.
He always, you know, has the beef with Ronald Acuna, Remember when he hit him in the head? So somehow Jose Arena always faces off against the race.
But anyway, he'll put the wanted a Kunar beef besides him as he's looking to get after a hot start again, his first start or season on the Marlins.
So again, Jose or Universe Ian Anderson that share the screen.
And let's get you the preview for this game.
So the Marlins and Braves the Marlins? Obviously, like I said, throw it in the N L East.
They're trying to get that wire called Spot.
They're 17 and 18 1 game below 500 the Braves very good record expected.
Like I said there, 24 16 1st in the NL East, and they'll probably stay first for the rest of this season.
So let's just get you some team stats and let's compare the team stats.
So for the Marlins, their 21st in average, they have a 2 34 average.
The Braves were tied for fourth in the MLB with a two 66 average, now on base percentage, the Marlins 21st, 3 11, on base percentage and the Braves again tied for fourth with a 3 38 on base percentage.
Now slugging look at the Braves, their second and slugging.
And the Marlins air 26th.
Um, we go to home runs.
The Marlins were 29th.
Look at the Braves, Um, double the amount of home runs as the Marlins.
They have 67 this season.
That's fourth in the MLB.
So the Braves a very good team.
But the Marlins? They will always lead in this stolen bases.
The Marlins are a very good small ball team this year.
Magnus Era is on the L, but he has contributed to the Marlins.
The Marlins traded a few days ago during the MLB trade deadline that MLB in stolen bases at a point.
And, uh, I don't know if he still does, but again, he was the main one that contributed to the Marlins stolen base success.
But it's Jon Brodie who is now the Marlins stealer on the team.
Now that Jonathan VR is on the Blue Jays and how that Magnus Era is on the I L Jon Brodie, a speed store look, he doesn't hit for that much power even though he manages to hit.
He hit two home runs this season, and they were both to right center field, a deep park and one in Marlins.
We know that's a pictures, Barbara.
So Jon Brodie, you know, really, how does he stay in the MLB? Why is he even in the MLB? Well, his speech writers utility guy plays multiple positions.
He doesn't have the power to be in MLB player.
So how does he stick to the MLB and stay to be a major leaguer? Well, he plays multiple positions, and he speaks.
So that's one thing the Marlins will lead in in stolen bases three times the amount of stolen bases.
As the brave now pitching, the Marlins have one of the best pitcher pitching rotations this season.
We'll see how Jose Raina does again, so they ought to give him prediction.
He hasn't pitched one game this season, Marlins ninth and MLB in ER A with a 4.
The Braves tied for 16th with the 4.
They do have a top 10 picture of this year.
Max freed according to MLB dot com, picture power rankings.
He's a top 10 picture of this season, but at least the Marlins won't deal with him today.
This is a three game series, by the way, so they made face off against him in the next two games.
Whip Marlins 20th, Braves 14 Now case for nine.
Braves Air 22nd, Marlins 27th.
Now home runs allowed the Marlins or 29th.
And that is so good you want to be towards story.
If you give up the least amount of home runs, that means you're gonna be towards stories.
So look at this.
The Marlins pitchers have given up 33 home runs.
This is the Braves pitchers that give up 60 seven.
How can the Marlins? Obviously I played more games than the Braves because they had that covert outbreak.
But come on, only a few more games the Braves have played and they've given up way more home runs again.
Double amount of home runs.
So let's look at this.
The Marlins 29th and MLB in home runs.
That is good, right? You look at rankings.
You say you always wanna be forced.
You always wanna be second, but for home runs given up.
You always wanna be 29th 30th.
Why? Well, that means the minds of the the Marlins pitching staff is the second best this year in allowing home runs.
That means that they've allowed the second least amount of home runs this season, so the Marlins don't give a lot of home runs now.
The Braves hit home runs.
Freddie Freeman, big home run hitter, the best first baseman in the MLB.
He hit his first Grand slam two games ago.
And guess what? Two games after that, which was last night.
He hit another home run, another grand slam.
So, uh, it took him over like 5000 at bats to get a grand slam.
And now they're coming like fire.
So we'll see if you get to grandstand begins tomorrow.
And hopefully not now.
So that's basically the team comparisons for stats.
No, let's look at Ian Anderson this season.
He's pitched 12 innings as a 2.
He's too no point 83 whip again.
We're not going to show you Jose Ramos.
That's because he hasn't pitched one inning, hasn't start started one game this season, so Yeah, Ian Anderson will pitch today.
We will see how he does.
Let's look at his game block.
Let's look what happened last game.
His last game pitch was September 7th.
My bad September 1st against the Red Sox.
Pitched six innings, six hits, two runs to get eight strikeouts, giving up one walk and then August 26 against the Yankees.
A good team pitched six innings, giving up one run in one hit against a very good Yankees team.
Again, They have, AH, lot of injuries, but they're still, uh, you know, a playoff team.
As of now, that's amazing.
One hit, one run in six innings.
So against the Yankees, that's very good.
Ian Anderson again.
He has good games.
He has a bad Game.
See if the Marlins hit him today and let's see if they will hit him.
Let's get you the lineups for today for the Marlins, and then we'll go to the Braves lineup.
So here is the Marlins lineup.
Corey ****erson leading off Corey ****erson has heated up these last few games.
Two out of the last three games he's hit home runs, Um, again, those games from against the race.
They had a three game series against the race.
Now they have a three game series against the brakes.
Stalin, multi batting second, again acquired in the trade deadline, hit a home run yesterday.
The Marlins did lose yesterday against the Rays in Extras, they lost but stolen.
Marty, uh, started off the scoring with a two run home run to deep center field, over 415 ft.
So that was nice to see Marty.
It was a great trade deadline signing the, uh Um, I have been in the second best trade deadline.
Standing behind Mike Clevinger, who went to the San Diego Padres batting still in my manor sues Tacular If you guys watch my streams, he's my favorite player on the Marlins.
Brings that great energy, sometimes argues with the opposing teams.
But great player, um, hit a home run two games ago against the Rays, so he'll be batting third.
Matt Joyce, the lefty.
You know Matt Joyce is a veteran former All Star.
Was was signed this off season in free agency.
Uh, look, Joyce is a a very good player, in my opinion, um, consistent gets a lot of base, doesn't take that many home months, and he's a pretty good field or as well.
And then and in fifth, Gary Cooper, who is playing first base soil.
Aguilar, uh, looks like he's the D h today.
So Cooper again.
Jon Brodie batting fifth.
We don't see hand batting leadoff as he's way faster than Corey ****erson, but ****erson's been hot in the leadoff spot as well.
But anyway, boating the lineup batting sixth.
We'll see if he gets a stolen base today again behind the plate.
Travis, don't note.
I mean, I feel like he's better defensively than offensively, but he's not like J T Realmuto.
So who will throw everyone around? So Brody, they steal a base today. Batting seventh.
He got his first MLB hit yesterday.
The Marlins shortstop.
They acquired him last year in a trade with the Diamondbacks.
As of now, it's a terrible trade because they traded one player for dress because I'm that one player was Zach Allen, who, according to MLB dot com, is a top 10 picture of this year.
Actually, in my opinion, when that trade happened.
I knew the Diamondbacks would have wanted because Zach Allen made a few stops on the Marlins and he did great.
And this year he's been a Top 10 Pictures act.
Allen is amazing.
I think he's underrated.
Soon he won't be underrated because ah, fans will start toe, you know, see who he is.
No, but who he is.
Eso, anyway, just is almost required in the Zach Gallon trade.
You got his first hit yesterday.
He's from the Bahamas.
Not many MLB player from the Bahamas to congratulations to him for making the big leads off big leagues.
So anyway, he also got his first time in catch yesterday, so that's kind of cool anyway.
Miguel Rojas still hanging up there with the high average 30 33.
Again, we know he hasn't played a lot of games because he was part of that Marlins covert outbreak, but still a lot of games and he's staying at that 3 33 average.
So, yeah, Rojas, very consistent this year, look element over the past few years.
I you know, I haven't really liked RoHaas as a player.
He's a great person.
I mean, he's a leader in the Marlins dugout, but he just always batted ninth.
You know, he didn't get that many hits this year.
He's throwing things around and he's not old.
But obviously you think when you're younger, you do better.
Whatever he's doing.
Great, amazing breakout season.
He's still hanging at that high average and batting night for the Marlins.
Jorge Alfaro there.
Katha needs to get going.
UH, hasn't hit a home run so far this season.
His last home run was in an exhibition game into a spark against the Braves, the last exhibition game before the season.
So he hit a home run.
Not this season, but in an exhibition game against the Braves.
Insurance ****, Let's get you the Braves starting lineup for today.
Ronald Acuna leading off again.
The Marlins last played the Braves.
Um, when was the Marlins home open on Marlins Park? The Marlins won the first game, which was the home opener, but the Braves won.
The next three games was a four game series, and there was no running a crooner in that whole Siri's.
He was on the I l.
Also, I was the obvious was on the I L, but he is still on the isle, So I, Ronald Acuna leading off definitely the second best center theater in the MLB behind Mike Trout.
So the best center theater in the N L again has to 86 Sa***e.
It will go up quickly because he hasn't played that many games because he was on the aisle anyway.
Dansby Swanson Batting second.
You know, the last few years on the Braves, we've seen him batting around sixth.
He's had a break out season this year.
He's speedy as well.
And Freddie Freeman batting thrown.
Best first baseman.
I don't think that's up for grabs.
Look at this 3 14 average, and it's not like he hasn't played any games.
He's played almost every game this season.
Freddie Freedom High Average is the best first ba*****t in MLB.
What do you expect it again? Yesterday he had a grand slam in two days ago.
Ah, three days ago, my bad.
He had a grand slam for his first MLB grand slam, a Zuna batting cleanup.
Former Marlin, former, our store on the Marlins.
This is firstly on.
The Braves is doing pretty good.
Um 3 20 average.
And again, he's like Freddie Freeman's played a lot of games and Travis Denard.
Uh, he's batting sixth today for the Braves, 3 20 average as well.
Like Marcel Zuna, China's do Not Puma met, so I know him very well.
Nick Markakis, who originally opted out before the season started.
He opted in a few weeks ago after opening day.
Anyway, he is batting.
Uh, the seven today, My bad sixth.
Austin Riley is playing left field.
Um, that can't be possible.
I don't know why you're throwing. He's playing the field.
He's a third baseman.
So what? Austin Riley will be playing left field today.
Another former Marlon batting eighth.
He will be playing second base and entering CRT. Batting ninth.
The center fielder So again a crooner leading off.
Swanson. Batting second.
Ozuna Batting cleanup, Done on 5th March.
Cake is six, Riley, seventh career eighth and Ender Inciarte 1/9 and again, the picture is Ian Anderson.
The Atlanta Braves.
So Marlins Braves, 1 10 Eastern time.
It's not on TV, it's not on the local station.
It will be on YouTube TV so that's free to go head over to the MLB YouTube channel again.
1st pitch Jewish spoke in Atlanta.
Braves obviously expected to win right now in temperature.
82 degrees, Uh, when the six miles power, 0% chance of precipitation.
So a nice day game in Atlanta one o'clock game on Monday.
Again, it's Labor Day.
Ah, Labor Day game.
The Braves obviously the better team.
Could the Marlins beat the Braves again? They only beat them one time this season.
It was a four game Siri's that was the Marlins talked about, but they won the first game, but they lost the next three.
We'll see how the Braves do the Braves air coming up for when the Marlins coming off a loss.
We'll see what happens anyway.
The Marlins will play the Braves in Atlanta.
Jose Arena making his first start of the year after having cove it.
We'll see how he does.
Obviously, is gonna be part of the Marlins wrote starting rotation now, unless he just does really bad, because the Marlins rotation is actually really deep this year. Alcantara.
Though Sanchez Papa Lopez is amazing allies on animals just on the ol Trevor Rogers doing good.
And now Jose Urena is back to the Marlins.
Have one of the best starting rotations this season.
As it's really deep.
They have six toes.
Sanchez, who in my opinion, will definitely be a Top 10 picture in a few years, maybe even next year.
Who knows? Exactly.
And in the top 10 picture so far, well, it's gonna stop six those Sanchez from becoming a top 10 picture.
It, uh, that could end my broadcast Marlins Braves pregame show.
Thanks for watching on Mice, Gentleman.
They should have followed my social media accounts on Twitter at Edelman Isaac, also on Instagram at Adam and Isa.
Great here on SportsCastr at Isaac Sports.
Thanks for watching this Marlins pregame show over.
The Marlins won again.
We'll see how Jose Arena does again.
It's his first start of the year, so we'll see how many innings he last.
My prediction here.
Go around five innings.
If he does good again, this is a very good brave team.
Now they have a cornerback, and, uh, Freddie Freeman has been hot.
We'll see what happens that 30 minutes to a first pitch thanks everyone for watching.
Have a good rest of your day.
Let's go, Marlins
