welcome you to another addition off the or sports talk show.
So I we didn't do one.
Maybe these last two weeks.
We did some hot take streams, I think two of them or three of us together.
But now we actually got back to our sports news or sports talk show.
We can include some hot takes, right, those sports talk show or topics or sports, So why not? But a lot of NFO news happening today and almost NFL season and que these are starting to get, you know, pit.
We had some picks today for who's gonna be the starting TV for weak ones.
We'll go over that and, of course, other sports to.
But again, the NFL has been really busy today.
Of course, we have the MBA in NHL playoffs, and MLB season will more than halfway.
So let's introduce Sam.
Yeah, they get very much Isaac and thanks to all of you guys tuning into another edition of the all sports talk show here on SportsCastrs, Isaac said, We got so many great topics to get Teoh.
It's pretty crazy.
We're well into the NHL and NBA playoffs.
The NFL season starts one week from today, which is even harder to believe we're getting towards the end of the MLB season.
So yeah, it will be a very fun show with a ton of topics.
And also, as Isaac said, we did some hotch hot take streams that the last couple of weeks.
And that's not to say that now we're back to our regular show format that there won't be some hot takes throughout the show, either, because I'm sure we'll have plenty of them considering the amount of topics we will be discussing today.
So I'm definitely looking forward to it.
I'll toss it over to the other member of our show, Grant Flood.
Appreciate Sam Glow.
Maybe with this everyone on another edition of the L Sports sock shell, I'm grand fluffer Fluster sport zone me out.
A lot of NFL news has happened over the past couple days.
Of course, Amobi trade deadline happened.
I mean, just crazier.
Crazier stuff is going on in the NHL and NBA playoff Self last guy knew it should be even episode.
Thank you, Grant.
Yet we'll be talking about the MLB trade deadline Will be doing a recap on that as well.
So let's get into it.
Let's start with some sports news, sports news What? I thought we'll talk about that.
This segment of the old sport structure We just talked about players that are at the school level of Blake Borders.
For example, one exception where you have a player that is that bad talked about on this show.
We talk about some, you know, minor players that, you know, big news.
But anyway, here's some news that, you know, you can't really go in so much depth Talk about you know, IHS, you have to say it is sports news.
So here is the first one, Uh, you know, we can talk about it in depth.
We can't really Who knows? But anyway, I'm sorry, or the sports news we got has been big.
So let's take this down and let's get on to the big sports news here on the show today.
Uh, so looks like it's gonna be NFL because so many news and we're gonna start with this topic.
The Buccaneer signed Lien on for net.
Now what many people like is, you know, Ronald Jones is a bottom five starting running back in the NFL, you need another running back.
You got loose. John McCoy.
You many people are forgetting about now that they soundly in artful net and we'll get you guys opinions on this.
But now that we saw mleonard for that, it's for Net.
And Ronald Jones.
Why is no one talking about LaShawn McCoy? Yes, you know, maybe he has one or two years left, but this guy's a veteran.
Look, last year on the cheesy there were some injuries, but he had two amazing game.
And why did he have to? Amazing games? Well, it was Raequan.
Damien Williams was not in existence.
And then the later weeks, Damien Williams, people knew, was actually good, but he was injured.
So Shawn McCoy, If he gets, you know, some playing time, he will do go.
But obviously now has Ronald Jones and leave it on for net ahead of him.
But is there not for net that good? He does bring on some trouble to the team.
He doesn't have that good of an attitude, so we'll talk about this.
Let's go to Sam first.
You bring up some good points for sure.
um, you know Leonard Fournette? He's not.
He's not the best guy off the field, you know, from from what I've heard over the years in Jacksonville.
But I think we can't avoid the fact that he was Ah, very, very good running back, you know, just a few years ago.
You know, looking back to when the Jaguars made it to the to the A F.
C championship game.
He was an absolute beast.
I honestly can't really blame the template Buccaneers forgetting him.
I feel like the Buccaneers just signed another good player each week.
They just get better and better.
I feel like this is, honestly a good a good signing for for Tampa Bay.
I thought I thought the New England Patriots should have, you know, gone after him.
I would have been, you know, I would have been fine it if if the New England Patriots got him, too, because I think he he can make a huge difference to any team that you put him on in the NFL.
And I feel like he's motivated to now that he's actually on the good team because I think a big part of his, um, you know of his bad attitude and why.
You know, the last few years at Jacksonville went so downhill for him, and he wasn't even on the field.
That much was because he was no offense grand.
I know you're huge jog or span, but he was on what he was getting in the fight with coaches and everything.
Yeah, and he was just Yeah, exactly.
And he was just shouting out everyone's, you know, making it well known to everyone that he wanted out of Jacksonville.
And so now that he's out of Jacksonville moving down south of Jacksonville to Tampa Bay, I think he'll realize that.
Okay, I'm in a really good situation now.
I'm on the team who could win, who has a lot of talent and, yeah, I think he just adds, uM adds another threat to this Buccaneers offense, which is going to be stacks.
So yeah, I I think it's a good signing from Tampa Bay, to be honest with you, because I do think for net Ah, well, we'll have a good season.
I really dio, even though we haven't seen him play that consistently over the past couple of seasons, Now we're gonna go to someone who knows for net.
Well, he knows the Jaguars well.
And let me tell you this.
Buccaneers Dolphins just got way better.
And what was the weakness? What's the one weakness? They have a pretty good defense, a great offense, but one part of their offense is weak running game.
I don't know anymore, because I don't know if you want to call a Sean LaShawn McCoy solid, but I feel like he's a pretty good running back three on a team.
So, you know, have three two decent running backs for net, I thinks above average, but let's really see if he's above average grands.
Probably seen him play every week in the NFL, but you haven't seen him play on the sidelines.
But we've holds so many stories about him just with that bat out into.
But Grant, the Buccaneers often just got better, and I'm sure Sandoz this Tom Brady actually loves to throw Ah loves to run the ball.
I don't know if it was just last year because he knew it was just Edelman, who was his only reliable receiver.
He didn't even have a good tight end, but he still wants the ball.
Yeah, I don't know.
It's it's interesting for sure.
I definitely don't blame the Buccaneers offer wanting to go after land for name, you know, just improving that one kind of weakness, because around drones good.
But exactly the story is a very good backup.
He's a good running back, I think.
But the problem is, when he got cut from playing the Super Bowl, he was helping.
Being that kind was a healthy scratch for not playing Super Bowl.
That, I think, was a huge alarm that we just don't really know what's gonna happen with the Shah McCoy anymore.
But overall side for that was dumping.
The smart move values either this or things you, the Tampa Bay or Washington.
And obviously I feel like it for that side.
With Washington, you might as well just stay in Jackson because he's pretty much being the same situation there could imagine again and fight with coaches just sick and tired of losing it.
No might get fined by the team year, their gang with the Bucks and Smart.
Just some raise a game manager and you know he's gonna make sure that you are involved in the team, you're gonna do it.
This attitude issues anything like that out the field.
And that's why I think Bruiser, our Yahoo Sands has got to come to play here because he has a coaching style, just like Bella check.
He's not going to deal with a mission.
Anakin's, I think, if you know, he, you know, gets fined or, you know, Skip fracture whenever he will pay the consequences and maybe even get cut, who knows, Because I know Syrians could certainly pull up.
You know, Abella check s move there and do that for Nets acting up over.
I think change of scenery is exactly what Ornette need to do to revive his career because we take a look at this one.
Jacksonville in 2017.
They went 10 6, made all the way to the A F C championship game or that wasn't gang in any trouble.
It was when they start to struggle when they start to, you know, become the team they were before that.
Morocco's twice 17 season.
Now you start to see the for net, you know, kind of a little bit in college like he's got a little bit attitude issues.
You'll talk bad about the media, talk bad about his coaches and my goodness.
I can tie every time she tried to roast plate falls on Twitter.
But because it gets us somewhat, Chuck line me every time.
But that's besides the point.
I think the Buccaneers are going to.
I think this is a win win situation.
You know, he's only here for one year.
You could try to re sign him or just get rid of Ronald Jones next year.
You really can't go wrong here.
If you're the Bucks, it's got reminds me like Newton going to the Patriots.
It's kind of like that movie.
You can't really go wrong, just a one year deal.
And you know it's bad or if he gets injured, whatever, in my opinion, not Grant.
You didn't talk about the fact that this was a release again.
We remember a few weeks ago, only in the off season, maybe not only right after all the big signing.
So I, Brady, Philip Rivers, all of those signings.
But I would still considered early, maybe at the halfway mark, but anyway, this was a release No. One.
It has good. Better when I see good value.
Obviously you trade Michael Thomas.
You're not gonna compare Michael Times a lien on for net.
But the Dolphins traded, for example.
I don't know why I'm using this guy's an example, but Raekwon McMillan, right, Got worked on pick for nets way better than him.
I know you're comparing different positions.
Different side of the ball right off border is exactly So now I'm just gonna just bring it back to Grant for one more point.
No, not smart and release smell.
Don't bring him back.
But why would you release him especially two weeks before the season? It just makes no sense.
You know, Minshew has weapons.
The jobs actually have decent receiving corps with D.
Charter made the Pro Bowl De Westbrook, who was very solid angle.
A viscous note will do very well.
His rookie year course.
Conley Akila call are pretty good for five receivers.
Jobs have a depth receiving corps, and they picked up Tyler Eifert in the offseason.
They're building the offense around Minshew.
Now you get rid of your star running back, and now Chris Thompson and Rick well, Armstead er, to running backs who have done absolutely next to nothing compared to what for Net has accomplished in just three years.
This is what doesn't make.
That's one that you if you have released him, whatever release him early on the off season, not, you know, a week or two before the season.
Also, another thing this is God's destroy Menchu's confidence because you know Chris Thompson, who he hasn't really been that healthy with decent with with Washington.
But you know, he doesn't really say healthy that after every Cuellar said he was decent.
That's because it was Brooke Year.
Yeah, it was the 2nd 3rd string right back.
If the job was gonna make a replacement side right back, it's gonna be devoted for even and honestly or that's bad. And Freeman.
So I kept it, Not the sign.
And perhaps if all the sad yourself kept on going on, but yes, keep foreign, Anthee.
For at least this year, you can even maybe tram away at the trade deadline.
You could have done something here.
It just didn't make sense.
Whether we want to make one poor, I don't know if the situation with Kayla NBA lodges.
That could be a name.
I mean, I should say, I don't know what the situation is.
I say that in terms off, you know? Yes, he didn't pass his physical, but you could write three weeks and he could get back in shape.
You know, killing large is good.
That's pretty much just like having Chris Thompson is like having a young.
But my my point is he may be the same school levels.
Christophe, you just don't know.
No, I feel like he could be.
And that's when Yeah, You obviously aiming for better running back then, Chris Thompson.
And if you don't want Devante Freeman, who's gonna be better than Chris Thompson? Kenyan Lodge.
I mean, Frank Gore don't even I mean you signed by the Jets.
But if you knew for that was going to go and I think they knew they were gonna trade him or either release.
So why didn't they sign a running back a few weeks ago when they knew they were gonna get rid of him, either by a trader release? I don't know.
But Frank, where they should about these signs, you know, they knew they were getting rid of for net.
The only way I could see Jaguars really like making up for this is that they go over to make, like, a blockbuster trade, I guess.
Gonna cause a hot tape up talking about the judge on the market nit pick up someone like Kareem Hunter.
You can get that very good backup running back as your starter and you still be good.
But the thing is, is just know what's attribute, and we can't even get Ronnie Harrison trade a little bit.
Tricky trade with the proud Today, they only got 1/5 round pick for one, their young star safeties.
You're telling me you really couldn't have thrown in Kareem Hunt in that deal? If you just trail a bit more, it's like they're doing nothing to improve the running game.
Yeah, Kareem Hunt.
And you know what? I don't know.
I don't know how Chris, how good he is, but e because careen back.
You need a good running back.
He's a passing back.
So well, well, even that it gets so run the ball low.
He's got passing back to exactly Yeah, and I want our killer but the pages just picking his at work sampling.
That's question, Sam.
Terrible rumors that patriots looking to sound the other Leonardo for that.
I know you posted this, that they won't interested.
Why would the Patriots be interested? And this is what makes no step.
You have Sony, Michelle, James, Right in the more Miller, I think all three or average running backs all three.
You do not need Lien on for next.
Who are the eyes is turning Rex Burkhead.
You forget about Rex Burkhead, too? That's four starting capable running back.
Okay, is a capable second string running back.
He's below average, slightly below average.
But again, what's gonna make of look average is his receiving statistic from the backfield.
I mean, look, he's an okay, backup running back, but not going to start running back.
But I don't Yes, you got or I should say, four borderline average running backs.
Why do I say borderline? Well, Borquez just below it.
But James writes just above it.
So, Sam, why would they is? Why were there even these patriot? And they're not for net rumors.
I mean, I sort of disagree to be honest with you, I don't think it was out of this world that there were rumors about the Patriots possibly getting him because, you know, you just said Isaac that they have four borderline average running backs.
They need more than the average running backs.
Now I know I know James lights pretty good.
I'm just overall not convinced with Sony Michelle.
And as he said, Rex Burkhead, he is that he's an all right back up, and then we'll see from Lamar Miller.
But these are James White is the only one I really have a lot of confidence in, and he's not a great running back.
So eso I think I think the Patriots need more from that position.
Not not not not based on, you know, not want when I'm talking about how many running backs they need, because obviously, if they had gotten for net, they would have, you know, probably certainly about running backs.
They think it's too late to sign a running back based off, you know? Yeah.
Yeah, but I mean island say goes, Why the why broke head could easily be included in a trade.
Yeah, I don't know.
I just I just have the feeling that I I I think the Patriots need more from that from that position.
And I think Leonard Fournette might have been the guy that could should ah, could really get the Patriots over the top and be a really good running team because, let's be honest.
There's so many question marks with this Patriots team heading into the season and their offense, it's, you know, it's we don't know.
We don't know how it's gonna be, especially in the passing game, Obviously, with so many question marks at the wide receiver and tight end position, we know Cam Newton is a mobile quarterback, so you'll know he won't be afraid to run the ball.
But I have the feeling of the Patriots, you know, aren't going to shy away from the running game at all.
I feel like it's gonna be a big asset of their of their offensive game, and I'm just not entirely confident at the running back position.
So that's why I don't think it was that outrageous that, you know, the Patriots could have possibly had interest in for net, even though it turns out that they weren't really ever can considering it, because I I, you know, wouldn't I wouldn't have blamed them if they went out and got him, to be honest with you.
Because, yes, they have four running backs, but yeah, they're all borderline average, as he said, and they need more from that position, in my opinion, So And I think Leonard Fournette could have Could have been that guy, but they're just gonna at this stage with one week to go until the season, there's no no one else really that they could go after at that position.
So this is gonna be this is gonna be how the patriots go with it with the at the running back position with James Light, Um, Sony, Michelle, Lamar Miller, and, um, and Rex Burkhead.
So we'll see how it goes.
I'm just not entirely confident about it.
So I could quickly tell you.
Well, for net should have gone the Buffalo Bills.
Yeah, they get stuff Single turn.
Like I'm playing core.
Average at this point.
Yeah, um, as a backup, he's a veteran.
What was good was Devin.
Signature was rookie last year.
So you have who wanted the best backups for rookie, right? And when I say for a rookie, you don't need a backup like cream, Huh? What? He's seeing a duty, a rookie.
You know, Frank Gore was the best option for a rookie running back, and Singletary's still young, and that cannot be debater debated.
But you still need like I feel like for Net would have been gone.
And at this stage, I can say single terrorist, but four net as it right now.
But they still split time in the back room.
It could want to move on because we have a lot of topics.
We'll start with Sam Patriots released Mohammed Sunu.
Look why I say it's about idea.
Well, because you wasted a second round pick on him.
He made no impact last year.
Maybe he made an impact.
Here's my in here. Here's my heart.
You ready for my optic like Samson is beginning, even include optics.
Here's my Arctic.
Mohammed Sunu actually made the Patriots slightly worse.
How is that possible? You did.
Brady didn't focus on the kill here, was injured, breaded and focus on the killer.
Mama Tuna was the second guy mom into New Canaan and Brady trusted him the first weeks of the season, Brady kept on going the bottom.
Just what? I don't know if he couldn't get open or why he couldn't get any catches and he was getting targets.
So maybe if Mom mention it wasn't on the team, Brady would have paid more attention in the culinary.
Larry could have broke out like Deebo.
Samuel did. Right? There was divas.
Yeah, they were both first round picks.
You know what I'm saying? So, you know, I don't think that Deebo Samuel was ranked better when I say right, But really, it could be her ranked 11 position higher.
That doesn't not.
But the keel area could have easily been better than Tebow.
Sim, right? I feel like he named the Patriots slightly worse.
That's my heartache, Sam.
Mama sooner got released.
Yeah, yeah, I think I think you made a lot of good points there. I'll just say it 1st.
1st off, like Mohamed Sanu just was terrible. Yeah.
What you gonna dio? Who wants him? Yeah.
Edwin Diaz on the Mets trade deadline.
I won't talk about that later on the show.
They were dying to trade him away.
No one wants him.
Yeah, and in this situation, the Patriots basically are admitting their failure on this one.
It's it's, you know, it's really too bad that they you know, that they gave up a second round pick for this guy because, yeah, he made absolutely no impact whatsoever.
He was just pour ever since he got here in the fact of the matter is the Patriots were just paying him way too much.
And and they just said, All right, we're gonna have to cut ties here because it's no matter what happens now, it's It's not worth how much we're paying you.
And I think ultimately, Yeah, the only reason Maha Mohammed Sunu came to New England is because Tom Brady wanted Sunu and the the Patriots.
I hope they learned a lesson here.
Teoh, you know, not listen to, You know, two of players, 2 to 1 of players asking for all the time or really any of the time.
I notice it's Tom Brady and Tom Brady is a special case, but still the Patriots missed out.
They should have got Emmanuel Sanders, and instead the 40 Niners got him because Brady wanted Sanou in instead of instead of Sanders to new was Tom Brady's guy.
So the Patriots did what Tom Brady wanted.
And that was to get Sanou because the Patriots want to keep Tom Brady as long as possible.
Turned out Tom Brady left at the end of the season, so they were the Patriots.
That was evident.
We're tryingto please Tom Brady as much as they could over the last couple of years to keep him here in New England.
Um, and And now that Tom Brady's gone, um, Sanou really has no business being on the team.
He didn't He didn't make any impact with Tom Brady there, and he was getting a ton of targets, as he said Isaac, because that was Tom Brady's guy.
And he was, Ah, well, you often used wide receiver since ever since he was acquired from at the Atlanta Falcons.
Ah, and going to your point on the kill Harry.
I mean, I didn't think Mohammed Sunu arguably made the team worse.
I agree on that point because he was involved so much and did absolutely nothing.
I'm not totally convinced, though, if they didn't get so knew that Tom Brady would have thrown to Nakheel Harry more often.
I just think Harry had no trusted in any of the rookie wide receivers, whether it was Harry or Jacoby Meyers.
And then, you know, some some younger, inexperienced tight ends like Ryan is on Matt Lacoste.
I I just think Tom Brady, at the tail end of his time in New England, just had a very small circle of trust.
So the Patriots knew they needed to get someone at the trade deadline during last season.
So new ended up being that guy because because Tom venue to get Tom Brady, someone that he was gonna throw, too.
But I think even if they hadn't got Sanou, I'm not convinced that he was.
He was going to get Harry involved more than he did, which was almost never so.
I'm not totally convinced that that no matter what happened, if the Patriots got Cindy Orjan that Harry would have been thrown to buy Brady more, I think you know, it was just a season that didn't work out for, you know, the young wide receiver corps.
Because Tom Brady just didn't have trust in them.
And once you know, either Myers or Harry drop one ball.
That was that Tom Brady wasn't going to them for the rest of the game.
And so that's why I think this is the season where Harry and Myers can really step up in their game.
And they'll probably need to if the soffits is going to succeed.
Because I I almost guarantee that Cam Newton will be happy toe just throw toe.
Any one of you know, these guys on the Patriots offense that's open and that is trustworthy.
And I, I think, you know in Newton, is definitely gonna throw to Harry and Myers more, and we'll see if Harry can step up his game.
The same can be said for Myers, so I think it's a real opportunity for for the rookies last year for New England to make an impact on offense and with Camden as the quarterback, that's that could come true this season.
But it's still on the question marks with this offense.
I know I got a little off topic there, but ultimately, yes, the new was an absolute failure failure.
The Patriots failed, and they fell for listening to what Tom Brady wanted.
They pleased him, and it was an absolute failure because they lost a second round pick for in those draft picks are very crucial now, especially with the lack of talent on offense.
And so that loss of a second round pick was huge, No doubt about it, and ah, and yeah, it's it's it's too bad it's too bad.
But you know, the Patriots are moving on.
At least they won't have to pay Mohammed Sunu as much money as they were giving him, considering his lack of offensive production as well.
So yeah, it's definitely it's definitely a bad failure on the Patriots side.
But, hey, they're moving on now.
We'll see how this season plays out.
Yeah, it won't make mine very brief here. Smart move.
Releasing Sanou when they are saving a lot of money.
And, yes, the streams of disaster.
But back to Jacoby Meyers.
Very high ceiling for this guy.
I think he has the shot to really perform well, especially with noon at the helm.
I think they're gonna get him involved.
I think Seenu is prima taking Meyer spot For the majority of the second half of last year.
I have been very pleased out of what I've seen so far.
So definitely watch out for Jacoby minds.
I think you could be a dangerous threat along with course settlement and to kill Harry should be interesting.
Masahiko Miners becomes the third four perceived by the end of the year next year. I won't be surprised.
No, Preston Williams is more stealing.
Well, yeah, but no more. Preston Williams.
I think President Williams won the brace of futures in the NFL, right? Never best.
Whenever Wilson on a opted out people don't want, he's actually pretty fast, and he was that Dolphins number to see.
He can't even use a former chief.
Not with Patrick Mahomes with Alex Smith, who were not named.
The starting Q B will get to that later in the show, but he got into the last years.
Let's get a few good games on the Dolphins.
He's a pretty good, I think, wide receiver to when I say pretty good, he's bought on 15 but people don't know, really, you know that he is Kristen Williams's eyes.
Young's passing, he can just go downfield.
So Abbott Wilson running.
Yeah, I mean, I haven't Wilson's faster.
But that shows you how fast he is.
Then, uh, let's Rabban to have to involve the Patriots somehow, some way.
He was on the Seahawks last year, right? Whitewood boy, wasn't he on the Patriots after? Yes, he was on both teams.
He had suspended what's new, but they reinstated him, which, How many times they gonna keep on reinstating in? I don't know anywhere.
They re signed him because technically, after the Range State and he's a free agent, so they re signed him.
So anyway, the C Ock sign and the Seahawks have tons of debt at the wide receiver position.
The ODM Tyler Lockett indeed came that pretty good duo they signed Philip Door, set this offseason finale, have dropped schooling.
They also signed Greg Olsen at the tight end position.
And guess what? In my opinion, they have the best trio tight end, the best tight entry of I don't know if you guys greatly Greg Olsen, Will Disney in Hollister? Not that bad.
So I would just said tons of wide receiver that what you see receiver, that they may have one of the best receiver depth in the NFL.
Sam, we're gonna go back to you because you know Josh, according while I saw him week, too with Antonio Brown, there was a disaster while the most trouble peak on the field.
Oh, anyone Josh going? And he's He's that guy The Patriots needed that guy that goes deep, right, Sam? The Patriots.
Not that they didn't have him last year.
That's why I imagine it.
They actually kept Antonio Brown and Josh Gordon.
You have two receivers who go deep, and you have gentleman who's one of the best slot receivers in the NFL.
Imagine that won't now.
I only have a good slot receiver.
I'm not gonna say crappy but not seeing the care he supposed supposed to be.
That guy that goes on Jacoby Meyers isn't but Nikki.
Larry. He's not that big. You know.
He's he's going to go along.
He's the only option, right? He's not gonna be that good at it.
Yeah, yeah, I I agree with most of what you said and from the Sea ox perspective has, he said.
I mean, unlike the Patriots, the Seahawks team is stacked, you know, both at the wide receiver and tight end position for the most part.
So, you know, it's kind of a weird one with Josh Gordon because, as you said, you know, how many times is he going to get reinstated? How many times you gonna get suspended again for violating the substance abuse policy that, um, that the NFL implies? But I I don't know with Josh Gordon.
I mean, yeah, when he's on the field, he's right.
He's really good.
He's a good wide receiver.
So if he can stay on the field, which I don't think he will be able to, to be honest with you, Unfortunately, like I've seen too many times that he plays a couple of games.
And then boom, he suspended again and and, uh, and can't play the rest of the season before he's once again reinstated.
So, yeah, if he's on the field, yeah, he could make a difference for the Seattle team, and I think it's worth it for the Seahawks to re sign him.
But I just don't know if he is, so I don't know if it's if he's really necessary to hold on to for for Seattle, because they they already haven't enough.
Ah, wide receiver and tight and talent with without Josh Gordon.
I mean, obviously, he is not a benefit when he's on the field and healthy.
It's just a matter of when.
Will that be for how many games? Because usually it's not often.
And you know it's unfortunate because, ah, the problems that Josh Gordon has been dealing with throughout his career.
Um, but But I don't know, man.
He's I've lost track of how many times he's a spend, suspended, reinstated.
I'm just not convinced that he can go a full season without without, um, without being being suspended again.
So it's a big question mark.
I'm still not sure about it, to be honest with you, about whether it will be worth it for the for the Seahawks.
They're not just because of everything that comes along with Josh Gordon, and it may be unnecessary if she ends up, you know, being off the field a lot and ends up being suspended again.
I mean, when he's on the field, yes, he can make a positive impact on this team.
So I'm just not so sure.
I'm just not so sure because I've seen this time the same story time and time again from Josh Gordon, and it must be frustrating for every team that's had him because he is.
He is a talented wide receiver.
Don't get me wrong.
That's an amazing point.
Take the risk on him.
If you need a receiver like the Patriots risk on him.
If you already said that, that's the best part of the of the show, because oh, Patriots take the risk on him if he gets bended.
Oh, well, you need a receiver, you need a guy that goes along the sea us.
He's gonna be detrimental to the team like Antonio Brown Waas.
Get your rental a demon and punch teammates on the Patriots Navy would have done if they kept them another week.
But he warned that it was just outside, which is detrimental to the team.
Why take the risk of him if you already had that depth? And like I said, you, the Patriots just need to get Eric Ebron and you have set Oh, you need a guy that goes along.
But just gotta go tight end.
At least you know what I'm saying? You know what? The sea axe.
Let's see you only a neck.
Never forget locket.
You have Greg Olsen, and you have to other decent tight ends.
You don't want to take the risk on Josh Corn.
I Grant you absolutely agree.
You guys, if your desperation of being a receiver, go on and get Josh scored in, but yeah, for C L.
I know he kind of knows the place.
Game for what? The 23 games he played last year for. He got suspended.
Sure, he's kind familiar with C Hodge Bobrov.
I want it brought him back.
He is a good player for those 2 to 3 games a year.
But it's just how many times is the NFL gonna let this guy come back into the league like I Nothing against it.
You know, I actually like just corn.
It's a player, but it's just is suspended what, 56 times Now, at least staying back to his days in Cleveland.
This is This is ridiculous.
I mean, people say Bon says, perfect to be add league, and I agree with that, for this is 30 hitting.
But you know, that's also guys, you know, they're just failing and was drug tests at the drug test of theirs.
Being grew falls off the field, your sky game at legal, you know, I know just Gordon.
He has made strides and getting better, and I get that.
But he should be completely affable until he becomes, at least, like sober for like, six months or something out. That's just me.
But overall, it's just interesting to see ex brought him back.
But just I'll say I was allowed back and believe, Yeah, a few people I've lost, you sit in quotes.
I've lost track of Ah, Josh Gordon, how many times Roger Goodell has.
What's the problem are saying that everyone has, except Josh Gordon.
He he's gonna he's gonna keep on doing it until he gets to, Ah, number 10 because that's his number on his jersey.
Who knows? He keeps on switching teams, is going to be out of numbers to pick number 10 gonna be taken up on one team, all right, keeping with the Patriots.
But they release in this office.
Uh, many people said that's a bad room.
I actually agreed with it.
The one point that I agreed with for the people that said, Oh, this is a bad move.
Was that he could have been a great backup QB for backup kicker.
My bad for robot, sir.
Right, Who they got in the draft, right? You got a rookie kicker and you want him.
You want him to turn out Good, because you're wasted a pick on him when you needed a Q B.
I think Jacob Eastern was available.
If I'm not wrong, uh, look, he's not gonna do good.
Um who knows? Just, you know, you need the Q B A wide receiver, which they didn't even yet.
But anyway, look, they released in this off season, I knew a team would pick him up.
And it's the Titans, Grant.
What do you think? I mean, it's definitely interesting.
I thought Gostkowski was gonna come way like you get signed way before I literally thought discussed is gonna get signed, like, a week after he God, you know, released.
But, you know, it just read, Achieves kept on passing up on him.
But it's also were just kickers kept the emerging.
It's like, Okay, I call scouts everything and grand, but no, for a little bit, it's like Ryan sought golf.
You got time to ****ing museum today, too.
It's like, See other thing? Yeah, like, grab your nose.
You have guys like Ryan soccer again.
Sign for stealing Moscow speeches.
I know you just felt kind of weird is like we know when healthy.
Gostkowski is honestly, in my opinion, a top 10 kicker in the league.
Honestly, he has shown that maybe a little of a hot chick there years charm that back in those days with the Patriots, like he's going too well with the Titans wave as and Greg Joseph.
But it just kind of want this free agents where it's like, Yeah, I mean, it's good They got signed, that's like, really was a free agent for a couple months.
It's like, Who would have thought, Of course we thought, The Giants, we're gonna get him.
But then they ended up going with Chandler Cat zero, a kicker who hasn't even played in two years.
I was blown away when they made that decision, but, uh and then you know, it's really then outgoing Prime, you know, which that's fine and no complaints there.
But overall, you know, Gostkowski is a pretty good kicker when healthy way about the correct dose of that.
Because many people you know what's a always so bad.
And this is why I can say, you know what? I don't a great thinker.
Or I could say, you know, a grant I agree to do.
Why could I say Don't agree with you? Because he missed tons of kicks last year.
But what's the point in the back of my head and once a point that's gonna make me agree with you that he was playing through that injury.
He missed hunts of kicks and in two weeks, so he only played two or three weeks before he got way.
I do know you play of these three weeks.
I know that maybe just three, but I at least three.
I know he played three weeks.
Yeah, but he missed a lot of kicks and he was a problem that you didn't expect them to do that.
And yes, he's warning the older kickers in the NFL.
But if you look at the prior season, he didn't miss that close to that many.
I don't even think he missed that many in the whole season.
I'll be honest with you.
I think I remember you and that's that.
So that shows you that I can agree, Grant.
And he may be a doctor and you can't say Always old.
He he was playing to that injury the prior season.
Thank you, Grandal.
That's a heartache, because again, people going to say he missed under kicks.
But I could agree you and I'm sure, Sam Well, let's hear what he said was one healthy and one is fully focused.
Gostkowski's the top 10 cater and patriots no one remembers would have made that super.
What was that? Yep, Super Bowl 50 when they lost to the Broncos.
Because his government it's one kick.
Yes, that was a bad You want to write? Okay.
So to kick Steve and then wave have been a terry.
They were down by throughout the end, right? They were down by two and eventually have to go for the two point conversion to tie it.
If you make two extra points, they win by wind roar time, right? No, no, no, no.
Remember, they went for it at the end.
So let's say in the heat made the to the to your right.
Right? And then that's a tie game, right? Cause your you lost by two.
Well, that's nature.
Two point conversions, then.
That last play, you don't have to go for To which they failed.
You go for that support, the one organic.
Maybe it wasn't gonna resulting that.
But I'm gonna blame Stephen.
Just ask A for that season.
Let's see what saying That's to say, I know your big pickets fan.
You're probably upset when you're watching that game.
Now we'll also want to ask you is go scouts he good? Because that two years ago he was amazing.
Last year, he was bad.
A small sample size, but a lot of risk.
It's miss kicks for that small sample size.
Yeah, I mean, listen, Stephen Gostkowski.
Overall, he was incredible for the New England Patriots, and he was with that team for so long.
And he let's be riel before Gostkowski got injured at the beginning of last season and they eventually released him, the Patriots never had a problem at the kicker position for what, like 15 years, like, I think I think we really worth five 14 U. S. O.
I mean, um, I think I think we really Patriots fans took for granted.
You know how reliable of a kicker Stephen Gostkowski was.
Yes, you know that one glaring game was the A F C championship against the Denver Broncos, where he I made a mistake, but that that, you know one bad game is bound to happen in the spotlight.
You know, when you're on a team for 15 years.
But overall, this guy came a big time and time again for New England when they needed him to and and look how much we missed him after he suffered the injury last season.
Released him? They went through what, like three kickers before finally settling on Nick folk eventually at the end of the season.
So, yeah, I think you know you.
And yes, he's getting up there in age.
But I honestly don't think age matters for kickers.
I mean, look at Adam Vinatieri.
Uh, that's ah, that's a prime example right there.
So I think, you know, as long as he's recovered from his injury, which he's had about a year to do, so now he can be a top 10 kicker in the league.
I think it's a great signing by the Tennessee Titans.
And you were saying I was like like people were talking about Maybe, um, Gostkowski being a good fit as the backup tour. Wasser.
I honestly think that the Patriots see No, I'm not saying they should have.
Reese got him a Ben Re signed Stephen Gostkowski.
But you know, I if they had done that, I would have thought it was a pretty good move if they had done so.
Obviously, they ended up bringing back Nick Folk to compete for the starting position with the rookie out of Marshall Justin Roster.
But I think I'm I don't know.
From what I've heard, Roar lost has been awful in training camp.
He's been missing easy, you know, easy field goals and that haven't even been close to going in.
And he's been a disaster so far.
I think that's why they brought Nick Folk back, and I think it's a real possibility that Nick Full could be.
This could be the starter instead of roster, and I think definitely the Patriots and Broncos Kowski back in Gostkowski could have ended up being the starter again for for New England spirits linger.
Signed former Patriots kicker who won them one extra Super Bowl.
His name's Adam Venator.
I make me spit out when you guys say looking Adam Bennett. Areas eight.
He's a free agent.
This'll may be the end of his group.
No one signs him.
Yeah, yeah, there.
But what we saw from the terror, just like Paszkowski.
We saw military agents get new woman.
He's not really, you know, he's not the Kipper.
He was 34 years ago when he was making Probably get the point around and just said he would agree.
That move about Laskowski being the backup for Go out, Sir Adam Military.
And let this guy this guy only has a record from, you know, right long.
He's had a long way long.
A few years longer than Brady.
He means a lot to the Patriots organization, right? He won them a super.
Remember you? That kick was made when so he won them.
A super balletic doesn't ballot.
Jeff doesn't seem like the emotional guy.
You want us a Super Bowl? Come back to us.
He's not gonna do that, but, seriously, you know, I would take military over.
The dignity was was even called in for a tryout.
What? The giant sign article.
You can have a backup who knows the tight ends while he got scared.
You're not gonna have to veteran kickers.
You're gonna have one rookie at least.
All right? Yeah.
But can I just say one thing? I mean, yeah, when you get really, really, really, really up there in age, Yes.
You know, your place lacks off, But Adam Bennett, Terry, he's 11 years older than Gostkowski.
That's actually, you know, still sort of young for a kicker.
Let's be honest.
I mean, it's very is 11 years older from Goss Cows, then Gostkowski.
We have to remember that So husky still got, you know, prime kicking left in him.
As long as he's healthy, in my opinion, and military was built for, no one will go to his age.
You know that, Drew and, uh, you know, I'm ultimately not surprised that the Titans are the one that got the ones that got him.
Because Mike Vrabel was actually a teammate of Ah Stephen Gostkowski in New England.
So they do have a connection there, Um, with Mike Vrabel being the head coach of the Tennessee Titans.
So, yeah, I think as long as Gostkowski's healthy, this could.
This could be a big pickup for the Tennessee Titans, because as much as we say, you know, kick the kickers, you know don't matter that much.
You know they win games that time when the pressure is all on their backs.
And there's a lot of kickers in the league who fall to that pressure and and fail in moments like that, and there's just a select few that can actually come up clutch in big moments.
And and, ah, and then that's huge for the teams that have those kickers.
And Gostkowski was one of those tickers for New England a few years ago, and he could be again for Tennessee if as long as he's healthy and returns to form, which I think is a very real possibility.
One of the guys you mentioned that you say Oh yeah, Knocking on the pressure, Cody pocket before he switched subjects.
Someone drafted him in Spanish football yesterday.
Wait for understanding your player Wolf.
That would been worse.
Someone said something that you know, double jointing it out.
The field goal post is something doesn't often.
That may be true.
You know Laskowski at one bad game.
It came out the worst time.
Well, that was one game that came at the worst time.
He's probably had tons of other worst games.
You have to give him another shot.
Now he's he's on a team.
But people hate him, right? I feel I'm a Bears fan.
I would hate him.
Yeah, for someone that's not embarrass, Fan, I feel bad friend.
He's an NFL skill ever.
He is better than Rosser.
I would say at this point at this point, right now he's better.
There are also, but that one play rooms his whole career.
But Scouse keys and it's a different scenario.
So don't just say something after I say this.
Obviously, Gostkowski's had way more experience, So if Kostya City has won that game, you're like, Oh, he's so good, right? If Cody Parky has won that game, you know, we've seen a little from them when I didn't gonna take a chance now, Obviously.
Guys, guys, guys great.
Better than goatee talking.
But give him a chance. I mean, he is on a team.
I don't know if he's the starting kicker.
Who cares? I mean, look, he's I say is not bad.
I mean, you could say he's bad.
He's not good under the pressure.
And your kicker's gonna make the most impact under the pressure, right? Getting a game winning field goal.
But you have to give him another chance.
I'm gonna go with Sam because I partly hold your opinion last night and then I'll go to you, girl.
I mean, yeah, yeah.
When it comes to Cody Parky, it's It's tough, you know, the situation he's in because yeah, you're right.
You know, you don't want to be known for the double doink, and that's unfortunately, uh, you know when when everyone thinks the Cody Parky, that's what comes to the other minds.
The double doing can you know, I remember watching that game live, and it was just extraordinary off the field.
Go post twice, Um, and out Teoh lose the game for the Bears.
But yeah, I didn't even bring up the born that it wasn't way.
Why? Like who wasn't it? Why? I mean, that's not a bad kick.
Yes, it's a bad kick of you, miss, but we could go partially deflected to you are.
Okay, so then that's just hoping my reasoning.
So I wonder if you're gonna go against what I'm saying.
But any right do that wasn't even ah, badly miskick.
That's what I'm saying.
Yeah, that's very fair.
But I think, like, you know, Cody Parky was never, you know, even before the double doing.
I mean, he wasn't he wasn't that well known of a kicker, but he was in the league for a little while before that.
And, you know, he wasn't the best of kickers.
That's why I think you know this one mistake is, is why you know it's kind of ruined his career because no one was really high on him in the first place in.
So this is just It's harsh, obviously, but it's just another reason for teams to ah to not sign him.
But what? When you compare it to Stephen Gostkowski, Gostkowski, you know.
But before that game against Denver was a player who was a kicker who showed that he's one of the best in the league and comes up in big moment, no obvious, different situations.
But I I think ultimately, you know, a team should should give parking another chance.
I definitely feel bad for him, but I'm just saying, like if a team does give him another chance, I don't know.
His confidence might be all lost at this point.
And I'm not even convinced that he will be a solid kicker because he really wasn't even before the double doing so I don't know.
It's really a tough situation, and you gotta feel for him.
Obviously, it was amazing last year.
Listen to this on the title.
Um, when Ryan Sue Cop who just got released, I believe when he was on the injured reserve holding Parky made three out of three for his three field goal attempts and went car.
Yeah, I'm looking.
That sets to and went five or six on three from extra points in three games.
That's amazing, man.
Three games, three field goes and six extra point attempts.
That *** sounds like high offense.
Anyway, that's not bad.
You missed one extra point.
Gostkowski missed about 20 in the same amount of games and regret.
Let's hear your opinion.
Yeah, Cody parties.
Good, I tell you, deserves another shot, especially more than three games, like it could be a starting kicker.
But the problem is, you take a look at it and even disregard that kick in the playoff game.
He hit the crossbar four times in the regular season against the lines before that playoff game, and I think that's when when it bounce off, you know, the upright.
And it was no good.
I think that's when the Bears like, All right, we've had enough.
You re seeing you hit the post constantly during regular season games, like happened three or four times, gets the lion's in one game that same year.
And I think that was sermons like Oh, my goodness, Cody Parky.
It's like and that's why you listen close.
That's why Al Michaels, the commentator, said, Oh, he hits the upright again.
That is why I said that He was referring to that game earlier on the or he hits it three or four times.
It just passed off the up right.
There was no good.
So I think yes, and like a sad pressure.
I heard rumors that that kick was partially blocked.
I think overall, he's a good kicker.
But you kind of have that in the back of your mind.
And that's why you know, you could argue that, You know, like in a kicker situation that maybe you don't want this kicker because in case, you know, this game does come down to the wire.
Hey, we need a two minute drill.
Let's go down to a vehicle and win.
You know, got Scouse.
Use this CR suit Nakiska apart.
You know, if you're just gonna hit Thea primary, just gonna miss completely.
You don't know and I just don't think you want to take the risk.
But overall, yeah, I get Parky give you used bigger perfect phrase, given another chance.
That's exactly what needs to happen.
And they said they gave my chance last year on the tight ends.
He didn't do bad, So not getting to got it all.
So that's his chance.
And what were they expecting from him when they gave him that chance? Oh, just a fill in for Sue Cop.
Well, okay, but at least for Parky that gave him a chance to show that to other teams that are looking to sign him.
But no one was looking.
I don't let's switch our focus to a team that could be the first seed in the East next year if he honest doesn't go to the Heat.
The that side Hall of Famer Steve Nash has a new coach.
A surprising move.
No rumors on this.
There was not even a rumor that this was a job interview.
You're not gonna sign this guy if there's no Dr Interview? Uh, yeah, we're gonna We're gonna sign Shack because he's so good.
No, they would even give an interview to hit.
They definitely did an interview to Steve Nash.
There's no rumors that all but they signed him.
You got K D carryover expense for dignity.
Joe, Here's this scene is gonna be good.
And you got Hawo has encroached, right? But he has a once per tonto.
Do a good job, though.
Bross is just so the Nets best coach a long time.
You This may be the Nets best coach in a long time, Sam.
Hey, this is not a bad move and one of the best coach is available.
You could have gone with the Pelicans head coach, right? Uh, he's not a bad coach.
They just expecting more to him, right? Something about my expectations, but I feel like a team with the Nets.
You have such good players.
You don't need the best of the best for coaches and he's gonna look good.
Why? Steve Nash is gonna look so good because the team's good.
He's gonna look good just coming in there.
And why isn't it look good? They're gonna look at last year's record and say, Look at the improvement.
Why you don't have KD That's true.
I mean, yeah, I I agree that, you know, coaching in the N b A isn't like isn't a huge factor.
I mean, I'm not disrespecting, you know, coaches in the n B A.
Obviously, there's great coaches like Gregg Popovich in Steve Kerr, but I I definitely think that's what Rosa is better than Steve.
Erik Spoelstra two.
I'll please the Isaac I was trying Brad Stevens the best cuts because you for though I mean without currently tops a did nothing this year worse. Do nothing.
I wouldn't Even cholera.
Lee Steve Parry Beaudo.
All right, well, I nto carry about talent.
Well, anyway, your baby has basically proven my point Exactly.
Without Steph Curry and Kevin Durant.
You know, the warriors were off.
I don't plan Improve your point because I've Hi.
I agree with this. I'm trying. Yeah.
And you know, the spurs have gone downhill, too.
No losing Tim Duncan and Tony Parker in all their best players that they had when they were making runs to nb championship so into the n b a finals.
So you know that that kind of you know proves proves my point as to, you know, the talent is the most important part in the coaching is a huge deal.
What that being said, This is ambitious, in my opinion, from the Nets.
And I was shocked by this news like everyone else when I woke up and found out about this, I mean, Steve Nash was literally an ****yst for soccer on on TNT back in March.
He was an ****yst on the panel for you UEFA Champions League games, and I had no idea that you know, a few months later, he was gonna be hired as the head coach of the Brooklyn Nets.
Nobody did, as a matter of fact, but yeah, I mean, he's never been a head coach, Obviously.
So, no coaching experience.
I'm just surprised the Nets went with him because there were some other options that that that they could have, you know, gone with.
Even Mark Jackson.
What? What was rumored to who Commentators? The games now for.
ESPN was rumored to possibly be pursuing a coaching job, but, hey, they went for Steve Nash.
We'll see how it plays out.
Ultimately, I'm not sure about the 100 coaches in the last five years.
The next used Yeah.
Yeah, well, we'll put that aside for this argument, but yeah, I don't know.
I don't know. I was surprised.
We all don't have any idea how good of a coach Steve Nash going to, because he's never been the head coach of a team.
And again, problem is, he's gonna look good with Katie.
When are we gonna dough joke? We leave.
We may not ever know.
Yeah, I Well, yeah, he's not that old I need.
He played basketball or not recently, not recently right, But, well, I retired.
And whether it's a lot of run this, I'm gonna look up this age. Corker.
Yeah, I I will say one thing like coaching is important in the way of, you know, late game situations.
When to call a time out.
Obviously, Nick nurses under.
You know, I'm not gonna criticize Nick Nurse because he's the coach of the year.
But he was under criticism for not calling a time out in Game two on the when the Raptors had the ball down by three.
Billy Donovan was criticized for running that that play that, you know, the thunder completely butchered last night when I and my Bruno's was, uh was yelling at for not beating up the rest after they called Jimmy Butler for the foul.
Yeah, so I mean, Oh, and the most important thing about coaching, I think, is even if you have, especially if you have a number of stars like you do it with the Nets in Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, who you know they get along.
Obviously, they wouldn't both get go to Brooklyn to just, you know, fight with each other.
But the rest of the Nets team to a big part of the coat.
A reason why the coaches there is to make sure you know, the that the whole team, they're they're all.
They're all satisfied.
Obviously, we saw how disastrous it went with the Boston Celtics, and I think now, with Kyrie Irving out, Brad Stevens has done, you know, I think what just carries that absence alone is a big reason why the Celtics team is playing so much better and getting along as a team and not arguing with each other and stuff.
I think Brad Stevens has done a nice job.
You know, making sure the team is is, you know, Set is all is all set, and everyone's happy with the ultimate goal, which is winning an MBA championship.
No matter you know how much playing time guys are getting.
You can see when the Celtics play their a much happier team than in the past, and, uh, and obviously Kemba Walker is on much, much better leader than Kyrie Irving.
But I think the coaching to a degree has to do with some of that keeping a team together, you know, cause we've seen so many times when there's so much talent on the team, but they just can't get it together as a whole.
And sometimes the coaching plays a factor into that, Um and and the talent wise, they are capable of winning a championship.
But But the team just couldn't get along and and and make a deep run in the playoffs.
So it So I think coaching to a degree has something to do with that.
So I'm not saying coaching doesn't matter at all in the n b A.
But but it's not the biggest of deals.
So, yeah, you said Isaac Steve Nash could look really good because no matter what coach they got, as long as everything's clicking for the Nets and Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving are doing their thing along with Spencer Dinwiddie, caress liver and and everyone in everyone is Ah is getting along with the in that Nets team.
They could be the best team in the East and win and win a championship, possibly, or at least get to the N b A finals, no matter who their coaches.
In my opinion, so yeah, and, uh, let's wrap this up.
I'm gonna show a quick video it and thats funny, but quick.
MLB traded on recap.
It's hunts of moves.
This is probably one of most booze at any death on.
I'll give you why.
I'll tell you why.
Why Well, expanding playoffs.
So some teams are making moves that they won't do because they actually have a shot of making the playoffs this year.
And also, well, some teams have been down with many injuries, and some teams that are actually God are not good this year, such as the Angels, and they're willing to trade away.
So the Padres easily with the best I'm I'll be trade deadline team, but I'm not gonna go and ask Grant and Sam who's the best who did the best cause that's obvious.
Well, folks, it's obvious because they got the best player I think, out of any player signed during the trade deadline whose names like Levinger and they got did the most moves.
They got Mitch Moreland from your Red Sox facing Cath toes.
Now not in catcher Castro from angels and of course, scavenger.
I'm gonna start my marlin Stalin, matey needed a media impact.
Without him, it would have last one game already in the two games he's playing, he had a go at home run the first game as a Marlon Stalin matey.
This guy's fast, speedy.
How good of a player stolen is stolen, Marta.
Yeah, even you know, when Marty was in Arizona, every time I saw him play, I liked him.
As you said, you know, he makes he makes an impact on whatever team he's on and yeah, yeah, God love a great defense.
Yet that's really out that I was just going to say, you know, on offense, he can obviously hit efficiently.
And when he's on base, you know, he's not afraid to steal the base because of his speed.
And, um, and also defensively he makes he makes some great plays as well.
So he's an all around great player.
Yeah, I thought that this was a great pick up for the Miami Marlins personally, and as you said right away, he was He was, you know, a reason why they won.
I saw that home run he hit at Marlins Park, which was an absolute, um, belonging Bonds park look small, which is? Yeah, I get that, like, car in the back.
What only standard could make Moreland's Bajuk small? Yeah, I say, OK, Aaron Judge probably could do that was in the home run Derby.
But again, we don't really have big hitters that come.
The Marlins book, like Bryce offers probably the biggest hitter.
Hey, doesn't hit that many your months of Marlins Park.
You really don't have any big hitter? Is that come the Marlins boast, But Mike Trout was supposed to come this year.
Would be nice to see him and in Mullin's book, something to watch.
But so what happened this year? It's not.
Yeah, I definitely and you made a good point, you know, since they were a big reason why there were so many, you know, not just moves.
But big moves at the MLB trade deadline is because yeah, it's a shortened season and the expanded postseason.
The Marlins are a team who are looking to take advantage of the expanded postseason, and they, you know, past the midway mark on the regular season.
They're a team who realizes, Yeah, we're actually in the running to possibly make the playoffs with 16 teams getting in now.
And so, yeah, let's make a big move.
And I think Starling Marte is a great pickup for them because in any other season, you know, with with 10 teams with the traditional playoffs, they're used to it.
Just 10 teams making it.
I can almost turned to you the Marlins with good what is gonna be useful next year.
It's not just this year with its people.
Think Yeah, yeah, I'm just saying, if you know, things were normal and it was 162 game season and it was 10.
Teams have made the playoffs like we were used to.
The Marlins probably wouldn't be anywhere near a playoff position and wouldn't have been thinking of making, you know, a big move for a guy like Starling Marte.
But with the situation here, they are in a in a playoff position right now, and Starling Marte a could be a guy who makes the difference as to whether or not Miami makes the Posies or not, which I know we'll make eyes like happy.
I'm not saying that I'm still not saying the Marlins will make the playoffs.
But Starling Marte a definitely increases their chances.
Yes, we're on our next do.
I can't wait for predictions for people to make predictions.
And then Westmoreland's.
They could fall in the playoffs so they don't.
The Marlins now have a top 15 starting rotation and that Melbourne, I think easily they develop that six.
So Sanchez, like I said, future.
Pablo Lopez is having a breakout year like expected.
Onley made two starts this season, right because he had covert.
But he's an ace, right? He's the Marlins ace ally zone.
And this has been decent.
And you slept Edward Cabrera to come up.
So the Marlins rotation, I think.
His top 15 and what ones? Baseball games.
Pitching right? Yeah.
What? We'll help them.
They have stolen Norte.
They're going to re sign him.
It's the option.
It's an option, right? To keep him, they're gonna keep him.
And is there any big money guy? You know, he probably is more skilled than the money he's getting, But, hey, and we grant any move.
You from the trade deadline or any moves that you know, You didn't think we're that good.
Well, I mean, first off selling Marty.
That was such a smart move by Miami, especially with, you know, the position they're in where they probably can make the playoffs issue.
With this acquisition, we'll see.
But I was pretty cool and then, Yeah, Padres, I feel like at this point there is robbing every single team.
I mean, they got much more than they got Michael Eminger.
They got that catch from the Angels.
They're just loading up right now.
And I just think the Padres, they are ready.
Of course, I have made the World Series since 1998.
I think their rate of maybe not Roadsters, but they are definitely, I think, ready to make a, you know, make a very competitive, you know, And it'll West against the Dodgers might become on top of for now touches.
Jerry keeps on playing the way how he does.
And overall Padres should be a lot of the postseason.
Absolutely no excuses if they make it.
If they are missing this year, of course, all those years just rebuilding, rebuilding, they're finally getting offensive, finally getting what they've waited for for about a half decade now, And that is good.
So long is now brewing it.
That's like I say nice.
Anyway, let's show you one last video.
Never wrap the show up.
Guy should like this, huh? Here it is.
We're gonna I should screen.
Sam's gonna like this video.
Well, I am Teoh Grant is I'm sure everyone watching.
Sam, you got what wanted.
It's a video response of my Kabwe.
Either of what long get a free picture with Bill Belichick, but he won't smile.
And why? Let's make sure this is all the way up.
Uh, you know, no wonder.
The audio, uh, you notice my dogs, but, uh, here is the video night.
Guys can actually hear this bill, but whistle? Did you guys were saying that you walked us? I'm sure you did.
I watched live bill ballot checks.
Voice sound different at the beginning, so I'm confused, but whatever. Let's listen.
I've seen this to about a few times.
Oh, you really should really see.
I'm trying to figure out.
Did he say really is mouth moved? Yeah, he said, Really? I guess you know, my greasy food bring going healthy at subway.
That watch That didn't sound like him all they pay attention.
This is not Selingo Belgium.
Oh, belly check.
I should. Delicious foot long from subway.
That would be better.
You look better to.
That was the best. Thank you.
Good food is good for you.
Now get a free foot fruit.
Why they not sponsoring? Ah, free tickets are patriots.
Did you guys see the second one? Yeah.
Uh, I heard it second, but the on.
Okay, I guess, uh, I'll share the screen on the other tab.
Second, I'm your shock rebel check.
I don't means that we're talking about, Like the day the news broke out and we were just blown away.
That Belichick actually decided to do a commercial is just so unveil it break like, honestly, you know, I love both commercials.
They were awesome. Yeah.
Now, this is a very short clip of the second commercial.
This is the face of 100 lei bills beaming from ear to ear.
Is he enjoys football in season at subway picture.
Where is eating at the sub rattles all the way to whatever he goes, let's say travel three out just for six second commercial.
I've lost my mind.
Look, money in the revenue is probably getting, though it's always kind of picking a 50,000 e that sub I know.
You have to know what sarcasm is.
I'm joking, but it is a six second promotion or no, like no, he know how have you see He's happy is getting money.
And I would I would travel if you're getting a million dollars, Sure, but six seconds like whatever I mean better is better than nothing, cause you got your allergic to your commercial.
I mean, he lost love Subway.
How are you going to get Bill Buckle your commercial? You know, he doesn't even want to do press conferences.
How's that? Doesn't get paid, but that's grabbed with this position.
Tons of NFO knows we hit MLB trade deadline.
We hit the Nets right? They saw in their head coach.
New encroach now does that.
That was really the Big M being was right was to talk about Jimmy Butler's foul.
We could talk about, you know, the Raptors and Celtics Because that game, Game two King gained down to the end.
Were you talking about the thunder and rockets? The fundo had a chance to win it.
CP three made too bad.
Place went on off and one on defense within a minute left, I watch the highlights.
Did you guys see that good spot? I was watching it live.
I was the first time I'm going to say over best bogeymen. Quite a while.
I was like, Oh, my goodness.
What? I consider that a bunch of one.
They had four seconds up, but I don't like to always talk about the last place.
I'd like to talk about any play.
Within a minute left, Chris Paul missed an easy floater, and then he threw it off Westbrook or something went on about anyway.
Yeah, well, both both teams like there was, like, a sloppy sequence where both teams were missing everything.
Yeah, but Chris Paul gonna be up for blame.
Yeah, let me just say, like on that last play, though.
Why is Steven Adams going out to the three point line? He should be going to the hoop like, not seen his three point skills.
They Uh, no, not He's actually made some great half court shots over his group.
One of the best half court.
I can't disagree with you, but I'm saying I know he's that one big man that will come up.
Coach, I promise you he is the one big man that will make that shot better than Anthony Davis.
I promise you, I feel like has the best chance of making that job.
And what's about all of this half court shots? You shoot the with one hand? Yeah, you does.
And why guys named so much for watching at a fun time.
As usual, we may still do our thinks.
We have fun doing them, right? No.
Well, two will start week one.
I want to quickly.
We're not gonna talk about this.
Cam Newton Week one starter expected right after they signed the bellatrix said, Oh, it's a race.
It's race. I'm like you can hear.
He just says that because he he likes own respect from people, but obviously can.
Then it was gonna be the starter.
Well, we found out about six weeks ago that that he was gonna be right.
Not official, but the coach hinted that he's gonna start week one. I like that.
I think you just start.
Herbert, I think with you I agree with you.
But six weeks ago, it was announced.
Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
To one Fitzpatrick, they're still trying to figure that out.
They didn't announce yet.
Could happen tonight.
I'm gonna guess its order have been again it between bulls and Travis Key, though.
That's gonna It's a lose.
Now, Brian, how was I knew we'd get it.
People say Alex Smith, He's not ready.
You're not ready.
And originally I x 11 the Redskins sign Kyle Allen.
I thought that would be a great football team.
Yeah, the footballs.
Alright of a mistake.
When I look back at that, I look back.
I look like a fool.
I thought Kyle Island and Dwayne Haskins That would be a race.
I had a lot of the water.
That thing was even close.
I mean, Haskins is the words that they reporting Smith ahead of Alain in the Dow Target three. Sure.
Well, now I know that, but we way we didn't know when he would come back warm throw.
True? No, I mean, it was a surprise.
What were the day before he came back for when they officially announced he's healthy? We didn't hear always one day away like we don't you any updates on him? Didn't way? No, really.
And then, uh, yes, Oh, Dwayne Haskins announced, Can Dude and Tyra Taylor again? Travis Key and False.
Very good matchup.
That's closer than Fitzpatrick into, uh, I think as a dolphin.
So and we want to see two and maybe keep them out Week one and put Fitzpatrick it.
I think that he's going to play this year and goes with some Dolphins.
It's just what some people will say. Not dolphins.
They're saying to was not playing this year.
If Fitzpatrick gets injured, it's gonna be Josh Rosen like, you know, what would you know? Know that that wants to say that's what everyone's saying And that's what I'm sure scratch Good.
I completely agree.
Why would you do that? Why would you input? Fitzpatrick has to start a week one that's acceptable.
Week Two guys, something that we're not starving will be early.
Got put Rosen ahead of two on the depth chart that 1/5 overall pick on the guy I'm here having.
She's Paktika my in and I'm higher than him on most people, most NFL fans.
But there's gonna be a blowout where he's not gonna play the whole game.
And they say, 02 was not gonna play One minute.
You're saying it fixed Patrick's to start up.
And who's gonna be the backup? They say, Joshua, it's not gonna happen, But that's what they say.
Stupid tuba is club I'm gonna be honest to do. And this may be biased.
Who was better than Joe Borough? If he stays healthy, perhaps we don't know yet.
Well, Joe Bro needs to play.
You don't even have Andy Dalton.
But you again? Yes, Fitzpatrick, But well, and I answered wrap of this addition.
We may do a show.
I know NFL's week from today.
We may do show next week, but after the first NFL game between Thursday and Sunday, how do you guys like that idea? All right, Thursday, I actually, uh, got later for a pregnancy to commentate the game with him.
So actually Friday would probably work.
I I didn't mean those day, but between 13, cool. Yeah.
I mean, you know, after the game between right as that's starting at eight.
Are your to do a front? It is it the Raiders game? Oh, no, no, it's Texans chiefs.
Okay, You know, and the new stadium gets the Saints.
Yeah. Yeah, that's money.
That I would be too.
Oh, yeah, you are Monday night.
I worry, Richard, There's no way.
Yeah, yeah, but guys up, I drafted three fantasy QB's My Fantasy of a Public Bridgewater, Stafford and Big Ben.
I promise you all three kids.
No, I'm starting Big Ben Week one in my fantasy because they're playing the Giants again.
Me and Sam are high on Tay Bridge One, I wonder.
Oh, and grab No, you're hanging. Blake Bortles.
You know you remember Dr Will do.
Uh, fantasy wise.
He's gonna get rushing yards now.
He's an underrated QB.
What's gonna make him not look under it? It's We don't know how is gonna play, right? No, no idea.
Stafford is not old at all.
Is he gonna do good times? Gonna tell? He played a few weeks last year, which I looked at the stats.
He played more weeks and I thought he did.

Yes, you have that.
You had to put that in.
I'll let you put that in.
I don't care. Raptors or Celtics.
I'm not saying that you're gonna handle them.
The Heat are better off playing the box And the Celtics and Raptors.
We talked about this, but he'd have to get by the Bucks first.
You know, I'm saying I'm glad they have to get.
I'm saying I would rather than play the Bucks than the Celtics in or Raptors, People say That's crazy again.
It's not always based off the best teams based off matchups right again.
Many people disagree.
I think he thins Know that easily? Some bucks fans admitted that Bucks fans, I meant I know Sam Federman is friend Ari blocking and Ralph because no, he is, You know who comes on. It shows a lot.
He admitted that the Bucks hardest opponent state.
It's been shown in the playoffs.
Guess what the heat off through Nothing controversial Call don't want to give my opinion on that because I don't know I'm not an M. D.
I do not care of the Heat.
One on what's going on.
But this video make sure to tune into Grand Stream.

I do not wanna say that's about that.
It's about to be shown whether it's true or false. I'm always Gettleman.
