But you had, um I think the world needs people already.
Think people ain't afraid to take a stand.
What the world needs is a little more respect for the Lord and the law in the working man.
Welcome to in the backfield with Peyton Hillis and Keith Migra.
Are you doing, man? It's back.
We're back alive.
I know it was crazy last week when you're here, we're trying to do the best we could out in the backwoods, but it wouldn't let us get live feed.
We made it work.
We made it work.
So how is everything going, man? We got a lot in the works.
We got a lot going on.
We missed a week of live shows.
Basically the Browns Owen one.
We got a lot to talk about.
We had a lot of talk about with Cleveland.
It's just man, what's going on? It's such right now because you know, you want to recap last week, but now they're about to play a game in a couple hours, and so I don't know if to move on to this game.
A recap for last week.
Well, we got right. So we got a recap.
We got to recap the last one because you were.
And I'm in the same boat.
We said if Baker Mayfield can, you know, can pull it together, get it together, it's gonna be fine.
Odell Beckham, All of that.
We try to talk about you know what? Pieces matter what, You know how we're gonna be able to pull it in.
They look bad, man.
Like they did not look good.
E mean, but honestly, God, though, I mean, you can pull a lot of great things from the offense what they do the last week, as far as running the football, man, they did a great job last week.
I mean, at times they look like a football team.
I don't believe that Baker Mayfield went the interception was not his fault.
I do not believe and, uh, you know, they just have no chemistry right now and my honest to God opinion, And I have this thing that the defense wore down towards the end the game while they put on so many points and I'm still optimistic about their season.
It's just if they can put together and, uh, but like I said before, You know, All know, within the first three or four games, you know where the seasons headed.
But right now I still think that, you know, they have the potential on offense to move the ball and score points.
It's just about them getting all on the same page.
And if Odell Beckham Jr can get with the program and you know, not show his ass, do you? Do you think you'll be able to? I mean, in all honesty, do you think there's no issues with Odell Beckham? You know, from what I hear from reports, uh, actually looking around shopping Odell Beckham right now as we speak.
So yeah, so I don't know if that is actually the case or not.
Uh, you know, I mean, if if they're already doing that that early in the season, I mean, he has to be a problem, and I hope that's not the case.
So how do we get him to calm down? Because we if we really wanted to recap everything from last week's games, we're gonna be moving in.
I mean, obviously they have the Thursday night game. Tonight.
It's it's a home game.
We're gonna be super pumped up or everybody's gonna be super pumped up.
What is a couple takeaways we have from what happened to to the game last week? Yeah.
I mean, I'm agree with my producer.
I mean, we have to run the ball a lot more come out running the football.
I mean, you got a two headed monster, that is, and obviously office line.
That could be freaking run, Uh, run block out of this world, run down, uh, run down the defense, use your play action and move the ball downfield.
I mean, I'm sorry.
I mean, they say defense wins games, but running the ball scores more offense any day than just trying to spread the field and throw the ball.
I mean, you gotta open up that field, and if you're gonna do that, you're gonna have to run the ball off, right? And I'm with you on that one.
We need to use our weapons.
What do you think about Stefanski? I mean, do you think he's gonna bench Mayfield? If Mayfield keeps performing like he is? I mean, that would make sense, right? Put Keenum in.
When does that happen? I don't think that that does happen.
I mean, not this early, especially.
You're talking about a kid.
I mean, maybe if he ****es off the coach and, uh, you know, he's not getting along with the program and he's absolutely not trying to get along with the program.
I could see that happen.
Do you think? I mean, what do you think about like Matthew? So we know, maybe you you keep saying he's like a Brett Farve like he's got that type of mentality.
Could be that type of quarterback.
What we saw from him, like in the, you know, the season opener.
It blew my mind.
He wasn't settled at all like he wasn't.
I mean, he looked nervous out there, man.
Like he looked like he was panicking.
He didn't make really the I do agree with you that the interception wasn't his fault, But he didn't look like he was like, he was calm and all are comfortable where he was at.
Well, man, yeah, yeah, I think about he's never been in this type of offense before, either.
You know, like he's a guy to me that's comfortable in the shot.
He does not like being underneath the center at all, and they could make a quarterback very uncomfortable if you're not also comfortable with your line.
And you know the only way I could see that him getting pushed.
The second string is just in.
The coach have a huge falling out because, I mean, just as much as it's you know how it looked on the field.
But officer coaching staff has to play.
A huge part of it is to know, and I'm with you on that one, too.
I mean, I put all my I still support Mayfield.
I think he he has the ability to be a franchise quarterback.
I wanted to be for our franchise quarterback.
I want him to get better.
What about Odell, though? I mean, I don't know how I feel about Odell.
Is he? Is he? Is he as good as he says he is? I mean, I don't know him personally, obviously, but there's gotta be.
He's got to start performing at some point, right, because he's just not performing well.
You know, I saw the game where he just it looks like he just drop the balls like almost looked like he dropped the ball on purpose, right? That it was, I mean, for NFL player to drop some balls the way he did, right? Exactly, Uh, to me.
I mean, don't get me wrong with, like I told you before.
Like when The rookie My rookie year in Denver.
I'm sorry, my rookie year.
His rookie year in New York when I saw him, I mean, he was unbelievable on and, you know, I mean, he really waas I mean, honestly, like we said, that's a future hall of fame, but just the way that he played.
But, man, there's a lot that goes on between the years for four or five years.
Everybody thinks you're God, how your player performance happens on the field.
So you know, for him I think it's all between the years.
You know, I think he thought he was insulted by being traded to the grounds.
Is how I honestly feel.
I think I mean, I really dio let me ask you a question.
I mean, off topic for a second you were treated.
I mean, you you went to the Browns.
Did you feel that? Was that like a disgrace to you? No, because, honestly, I felt like coming to the Browns with a new state of grace because I knew I was coming beneath Mangini that he's gonna give me a shot of running back, which, you know, I knew McDaniel's didn't do the year before, and so I was excited about that.
I had an opportunity to win my spot back over at an opportunity to go out there myself again and I had a shot.
I didn't matter if I did a good or bad.
At least I had a shot when I knew back when I was in Denver with McDaniels, No matter how good I did, I was going to be put in that position, know right and that's what that's what kind of blows my mind is that these players and I'm not saying you, but when these players come over to the Browns, it's like they feel like it's their last chance.
Like this is their their career ending move.
Why, I mean, are the Browns.
What is it about them that makes players not wanna be here? Is it just because of the coaching staff, the front office? Why, I mean, why do they think so badly about it, these players doing? I think you're right.
I think Odell Beckham believed that he was insulted when he came here, and I don't think he's ever gotten over it.
Um, you know, I would totally agree with that when it comes to older players.
Don't as a younger player, too here and believe that.
Then you just have some mental issues and some problems with your own thoughts about your own talent to be completely with you.
I mean, I mean, I don't know.
We need to try to, like, switch our conversation, though forward to be positive.
But I totally understand, Like what you're saying, though, with you know what? The talk has been around the NFL the past a couple of decades about the Cleveland brands and what it is to go there.
But, I mean, did I remember when I was playing when rumor Cornell took the team and freaking crap 1 10 ball games with the playoffs with me had a heck of a team, and that was not that long ago.
It was only like 13 years ago for a sow e.
I mean, the thing is, is that we got this.
There is a way to win in Cleveland.
It's just you got to find the right personnel on the right team.
And I hope that is what we have right now.
Well, I think you know the when the players come here, we need people who want to rebuild our our city.
That's what we want.
The and the fans are behind you.
If you do that, if you come here and you give it your all were some of the most loyal people you'll ever meet, especially when it comes to the Browns were I mean, we will do anything for you if you show you care about our team.
And I think that I mean and again, you've seen that side of us.
You know exactly what I'm talking about.
So we could get these people to go up there.
These players toe care and wanna be part of Cleveland.
Yeah, we welcome you with open arms, so give it your you know, play your your ass off, play your heart out.
But I mean, like, honestly, man, like I'm an old school guy.
I believe in running the football.
I just and last week when you average 5 ft one yards a carry against the Ravens, Come out running the bank of football.
You know what I mean? You have to run the football.
I don't care if you get stopped for one yard or negative one yard game, come back and run it again because I mean, you got back, they're gonna make plays and you've got an offensive line that has worked together here the past couple of years that are still young.
But I can tell you this offenses changed are interchangeable around the league.
And what I mean by that is is passing scheme situation and tendencies change.
But the running game has really not changed.
You got inside zone, you get outside zone, you get your power game, you get your your backside off or your counter game.
But every team pretty much runs it the same.
You know what I mean? Everything so honestly, when but this coach coming in, I mean, they're more of a counter running power team.
I would think that they're really not out of sites of what they've been doing in the past.
So I mean crap, Let this let these guys run a little bit.
Let's see what happens.
E stay on the field a little bit longer.
Let's open up the field.
Let's rest the defense.
I mean, let's not try to put everything on Baker.
He's not ready for that.
Especially in this offense here.
Not ready for that.
And I agree with that.
And we do have weapons.
I mean, look at Chubb.
I mean, look at him.
I mean, he is going to be.
He's gonna be a great writers. Great run.
I mean, Cream Hunt is great.
I mean, honestly, I, like both of them are good backs.
I mean, hey, let everyone on run three balls and get the other one in and put him in.
I feel just as comfortable is pretty much in the game, is I do Nick Job E.
Just think that you trying to.
But this also could be the situation of the coaches that every coach in the world wants to be.
The guy known for throwing the ball downfield, making great plays, and on TV I mean, they want to seem like they can outsmart everybody, and when they run the football, they don't feel that way well, but I don't care about winning ball games.
I don't care how how I look doing it.
I'm trying to win ballgames.
Looking for coaching staff was smart.
They run the ball on, I think.
With with having Chub and and and Cream Hunt, you know, for a fact they're gonna make place.
They're gonna be the people who open up and do what they have to do to get down the field.
So is that what we need to do tonight? I mean, against the baby.
Five yards of charity against the Ravens defense.
I would take that every time.
If I got five yards, every play, I'd win a lot of ball games.
Yeah, I'm just saying I want a lot of ball.
So So before we get into before we get into what the Browns are going to do tonight, what is one thing that you would pick out that they should have definitely done different aside from running the ball more? What is I mean, what do you think the fancy could have done? Taylor's put us in a little bit of a different position.
And is it his fault we lost, um, tough question.
I don't Honestly, I don't put this loss on on anybody.
You know, you're trying to put a new offense together within, like, six weeks and no, you're tryingto create chemistry with each other, Especially during this pandemic.
Uh, you know, this is just not gonna happen, E.
I mean, it would have been a seasoned veteran team.
You know, Maybe you could see that, but you got a bunch of young guys out there that have had not no consistency.
It's like having no dad in the home like their, you know, their moms getting a new guy in every week, you know? You know who's gonna stay, who to trust.
Like, honestly, you have tow gets, um, consistency with this guy with this team because they're so young for this thing to work.
I agree with you.
So when you're looking at no priest like your as a player, what do you think? About what? They didn't have a preseason.
So I mean, are you I'm not looking at The first game is like a preseason game, but, I mean, you can't you can't really fault.
Um, too bad for coming out there with a new head coach.
They haven't really practiced together a whole lot.
They had no preseason games to get involved.
How are people already jumping off the bandwagon like you see some of these hardcore fans that I mean, the world's already over, like the Browns are already the worst team ever, according to these people.
And I don't understand, because we're not giving them any type of rope.
Well, me, you know, I can't fault both sides, really.
I mean, I can see how both sides could be filling that way, because the Browns have let the fans down so many times in the past for a lot of years.
So everybody has their breaking point.
But at the same time, you can see how everything you know, not just for the Browns but for every other team in the league has not been in their favor to make them more like the football team.
I mean, if you see the you know the Saints or, uh heck like some more tell you the truth, like the Chiefs, the saints, people that are, you know, have been season been in there and then they win ballgames and they know their skin.
They know the offense and come out and just do it in their sleep.
Those were the teams.
They're gonna be ahead of the game right now.
You had coaches and stuff like that.
I mean, they're behind the eight ball.
There's just no doubt about it.
I'm not off the bandwagon.
I think the Brown is gonna do Well, I just I I think we have to like what you said.
Relieve some pressure from Mayfield.
Use the weapons we have and get Odell in the right mind frame.
Right? That's not a wrong thing to say.
Like you could be critical of players if you feel like they're doing something that they're not in the right mind frame.
And I just don't think about Beckham is in the right mind frame.
Odell Beckham has to be a very patient.
Not he is a He is a threat to the defense.
Oh yeah, They they come out, they know Baker's gonna swing the ball around there.
He's gonna get double coverage.
We have the patience to for people to respect the run game enough to where he could get out.
And I don't know if his mouth will allow him to be that way and that Z he's gonna take.
He's gonna put a bad image on the team, and that's what I'm afraid of. 100%.
And that's a problem as a player.
How difficult is that to be in the locker room with someone like that? I'm not saying he's talking bad about other players, but when you have, I mean, obviously we know egos.
I mean, it's like that.
Everything egos play a part in everything.
How hard is it to sit there and be like, Dude, shut your mouth and just play football, like do other players? You think anybody said that to him yet? Like Dude, just shut up and play, get off Twitter and play football? No, of course not.
Nobody has said that to you.
No, I mean, especially dude, not just with the Browns, but with It's like with any other job or profession or corporation is like the workers verse, the management or the upper staff.
It's how it's always been.
The players are gonna back up the players and the staff's going back up the staff because it's like they're always against each other.
Yeah, and so I don't see a player coming in saying Shut up.
You need to play some football.
No, Maybe somebody on the staff will come up and do that, But I just don't anybody you know and on his football team going to say that, Tony, you know, I think that I mean, what's crazy is he? He has thought of it.
Is the season vet on the team and he's only played like, what, five years? Maybe sticks.
I mean, what is it? I mean, it's not very long.
Eso it's ah e don't know, its's crazy.
I mean, it is the thing about it again.
From a fan's perspective, all I want to say to him is shut up and play football.
But from a player's perspective, you also understand that there's probably Mawr going on with it than just what I consider what they can see.
You know what I mean? We've talked about that 150 times.
There's so much more to break it down.
There's so much more going on that we can actually physically see what's going on that.
You have no idea why he's in the mind frame.
He's in on the fact that I do think he thinks he's the best thing out there and and he just hasn't proved that to me yet.
But it's crazy to think that No, I mean, he definitely shouldn't be thinking that this point, especially the past 2.
He hasn't really done anything, even with last year's with the Giants and with the Browns.
I mean, I really hasn't done anything to stand out.
I mean, I know that he's, you know, we still have 1000 yard receiving last year, you know.
But my goodness, if you're number one or number two receiver in an offense, you should have 1000 years on football club that has 16 games a year.
That don't mean a whole lot, especially when you're a team losing the ball, losing the game every game.
That means you have to pass the ball, which means you get more attempts.
I mean, there's a lot that goes into it, but, uh, you know, with him, I just think that I hope that he just be just gets quiet and starts playing ball, that's what That's all I want to see.
That's all I want to say.
I want to do that with every sports, though.
All of our Cleveland sports.
I want to shut up and just play from the Indians all the way down to the Cavs.
I just want them to shut up and play and act like they give a **** about Cleveland.
What is going on with the Indians now that you mention what is horrible? They were on an eight game losing streak.
We can't break it.
What is going on with that? Hey, I'm telling you right now, man ended it funny.
Well, how many more games that got left, like 12.
13 e Don't know.
I'd have to look at.
I'm so ****ed out.
I was so ****ed off in depressed the past couple of days.
I haven't even seen it.
So yeah, they listen to this.
They have 11 games left. 11.
They've been Oh, and I hate to pass a eight games.
This is like freaking typical Indian crap.
What? They're pulling it.
Questions don't just start pulling away and have a eight game winning streak towards the end and make it.
And, you know, I'm still gonna hang with I really am.
How? How could we hang with them? You told me to keep the faith, man, and I'm getting screwed.
Oh, my gosh, man, you're married.
You know, good things don't happen all the time.
Exactly. I'm married.
I don't know when good things happen at all.
Hey, that's why.
You all right? Hey, that's right. That's a fact.
I'm just kidding.
I love my wife very, very much.
Hey, come on, You don't help.
All right? We're gonna take a quick break.
We come back, we'll talk more Brown's for what's gonna happen tonight, and, uh, it should be a good show.
So stay tuned, guys, don't go anywhere.

What hell, Why was that bad? Just stop talking.
You're making us look bad.
How you doing, man? I'm good, You know.
You know what goes better with my book? What makes me excited about my Browns is when Odell Beckham catches a fricking pass.
That would be e I don't even need one hand.
I need two hands.
Say here it and get the third down to a first down. Let's go.
What's that? Is that obvious? Sounds like you watched the game number one.
Number two like you're right, though like it was unbelievable.
Some of the ball that he was dropping and then him griping about it was really kicking me off towards the end.
You know what? What makes me mad about that whole deal? I know we have Odell Beckham.
I know may feel just staring them down.
Baker is just looking for the whole time.
Every time they figured that.
Landry catch, catch, catch.
You do that? How about the thing that's working? No doubt.
I mean, the way we were just talking about that in the last segment with, you know, start running the ball when Nick Job is averaging six yards to carry and three months averaging 5.
5 yards a carry.
Just start running the football.
Big headline news from in the backfield.
Peyton Hillis sells the Browns to run the ball.
He likes running E o.
Honest to God, man like there is no team in NFL history that went to the Super Bowl.
They did not have a running game.
You just did not have a running game and I'm telling you the running game and get you there.
They really, really do.
That's what maybe writing so so successful over the years was having those big running backs getting those tough yards.
So you have extra down.
I mean, the Browns need to start doing that.
You would think they wouldn't. I don't know.
Well, what zone? Interesting point, Because I saw today.
I don't watch the Seahawks much that it's hard to watch in Charlotte here.
I find some illegal stream, but I find off Twitter, so I won't say which one, so I can keep them on there so I can keep on watching.
But I saw today, they said Russell Wilson finally has a pass first offense.
So do you think that's a good thing or bad thing for them? Okay, listen, camera, that's what the hell you eating? Just because I mean really name one running back that he has since Marshawn Lynch e mean honestly And then number two.
He is a He is responsible quarterback.
He doesn't make a lot of steaks, and he could still move around the pocket.
It's kind of like, you know, if you had Peyton Manning or Drew Brees or Tom Brady, it's more of a pass happy offense, but when you need to run the game to be there. It was there.
I mean, there's you go both ways with it, but he's one of those quarterbacks now.
He's one of those season quarterbacks that could take the offensive, his hands and dope, and, uh, and do with it what he wants.
Well, I just want to hear your take on that, because it is.
It's interesting, because when you got a scrambler like that, I mean, it's a totally different deal than if you got to stay in the pocket.
And so, well, I mean Tom Brady trying to scramble this past week.
I mean, I expected bigger things from them, but crap, he got sick.
I don't know what was six times.
I mean, I think the one who's gonna be scrambling, there's Bruce Arians.
If he doesn't shut his mouth blaming everybody, right? Uh, okay.
With me and my producer right here, we're just having that conversation.
Who is he blaming? Was that Tom Brady who he was blamed.
So he said, So there's the one that is the one place where braised throwing to Mike Evans and Evans stops mid route, and he just turned around.
He's supposed to continue the route, so that was the first pick.
The second pick.
I didn't see the second pick.
I tuned out by that point.
But the second pick, I believe that Hey said that was on Brady as well, so the first one definitely was not.
But then eso he blamed everything on Brady said He wasn't.
He wasn't forget the work that he used, but he wasn't eager enough to go play like he wasn't gritty enough for them.
Meanwhile, they got false starts. They got.
They got the defense having all kinds of penalties against them, like Tom Brady may have had two bad place, but they had 10 or 12 penalties against them that were just absolutely just completely, um, just undisciplined a team on there.
I'm sure Brady's thinking going there.
Well, I may not be in New England anymore, but I sure did like the discipline we had there.
No, like, you know, that is one thing that I remember from my football playing days is that you know the quarterback, it's caught, you know, the receivers, they're going to read the defense like he reads the defense.
So you know if he likes season Cover three C's cover to He sees Man that that receiver is going to run the route that he's supposed to run because he sees the coverage.
So Mike Evans obviously ran.
Hey, Miss, read the coverage.
Brady saw the coverage of those that, you know, it gets picked off.
And then it looks like the quarterbacks fall whenever there's an interception.
No matter, because I don't see the insides announced of that, and you're exactly right for that.
But you know, But, e I mean, as far as the Buccaneers go, I mean, they did disappoint me, but, you know, they still put up 24 points.
The e look awful e.
I still think I still think there'll be a strong team to compete with because like you guys were talking about last segment, I mean, it's like it's almost like pre season right now, getting these guys going just getting the group.
I mean, you got Tom Brady and Gronk.
All of a sudden come this new team they got in Austin running back there, too, so they're gonna be good, but there's gotta work out the kinks of this thing.
But I just wouldn't love the feeling in the locker room.
They're going alright, coaches, you know, putting the blame game on everybody there, I'd be like, All right, you just need to sit there, shut up with things you know, continuing a little bit.
Just control what you control on your guys getting all these penalties first.
When is it that letter? Foreign.
It's gonna play.
When is he a lot of play? What is that? Keep? I don't know.
Oh, now from my producer here.
It says that you can play.
He just haven't got the offense yet, but crowd with the running game Trust.
If you've been in NFL long enough, it's the same throughout the season.
Understand? Pass protection and routes and stuff.
I put his big but in there and run.
Run the ball with E.
What's going on? So it is the playoffs.
Playoffs? Yes, playoff time in NASCAR.
So the NASCAR playoff tournament basically is Well, it's not a tournament that they say it's kind of like a tournament style, So I talked to a few weeks ago about them going to 16 drivers out of the 40 are eligible in the playoffs.
What's weird about NASCAR is All 40 cars are still out there all the time, but only 16 are eligible for the championship.
But there are cut off.
So this weekend there's elimination race at Bristol.
Eso goes down from 16 to 12.
People that could be in the playoffs moved in the next round.
So you got guys looking on the outside.
Um, right now I got William Byron in 24 car one of Daytona to get in the playoffs.
First time anybody we want in the 24 car since Jeff Gordon got cold cus****, the rookie who pulled off a major upset win a Kentucky earlier in the year.
Uh, that's Benedetto, who is a big fan favorite.
Hey, could probably beat the living crap out of any NASCAR driver because the dude is Jax and everybody else is a little twigs.
And I would love to see a fight with him because crystals famous famous for fights.
So maybe we'll have to see that.
And then in 16th right now, on the very odd man out is Ryan blaming? And I am shocked by rain blame and Team Penske right now because they were projected to be some of the strongest guys going into the playoffs.
His teammates spread.
Kozlowski and Joey Logano have been dominating races, winning races, and I don't know why, but they have struggled and had bad luck.
But versatile is one of his best track.
So he has to win to get in class because he's so far back.
Um, as does matter Benedetto.
He finished second place, Ah, year ago in an underfunded car that really shouldn't have been there.
And on the other side of it on the bubble is Kurt Busch and Clinton lawyers.
Some of the older guys, they're they're fighting for contracts and trying to stay alive in the sport and keep on moving on.
So it's gonna be interesting weekend.
It's a Saturday night race.
Um, all right, man, I hate that the whole code deal hit because this is normally the coolest race of the summer.
First time they moved to the fall, but the Bristol night race is just It's is one of the big ticket races in NASCAR, right up there with the Daytona 500 so ah, lot of beaten banging their usually 500 laps.
I can tell you that race beats the living crap out of you in the car.
Three Gs pulled in the corner there for 500 laps, so 1000 turns in that race.
It's It's unbelievably brutal and short tempered because you just it's so disoriented and confusing.
And, uh, it's It's one heck of a show, though, so I think NASCAR putting that as the cut off race this weekend was a great move for excitement.
But we'll see who makes it in or not.
And then, on the flip side of all this, Kyle Busch is still not wanting to race.
This year, he's in the playoffs.
He's in ninth place in the standings right now, but he hasn't won a race since he won the championship last year, so that's still mind boggling to this point.
That's true. You know.
I was like, you know, ever since we've been talking to the past couple of weeks, I went Thio buddy's house this past weekend.
Yeah, please correct me if I'm wrong, but that may have this wrong, but there's some kind of racing called fj one or something like that.
Do you know about that? Um, you talk about Formula One.
Yeah, e really excited.
I know that sounds like a banned substance.
E They were saying that that that's like the top tier racing and that car is a joke.
Like, What is your idea on that type of racing? Yeah, so it's a It's a very different style.
So Formula One the biggest difference is its global.
So they go from their tracks.
Aren't from Chicago today telling us Los Angeles toe Um, you know Thio New York or whatever their races are from Dubai Thio.
They go to China, they go to Austin, Texas.
They go to Singapore, you know, wherever.
So it's a very, very different thing.
Um, it's so I started off go kart racing.
And so go carts are a pretty national transition to any IndyCar or Formula One racing.
Um, there's only one American team, informal one, and there's no current American drivers informing the one most famous driver being Lewis Hamilton.
But I think it z an interesting conversation.
It's happened over the years that we've had guys come from Formula One and have entered into NASCAR and the only one who's had any success was one problem.
Montoya. He won.
I believe two races and other guys came to Iraq again.
Uh, it's been a few others to have come into NASCAR, and even though they're some of the best drivers in the world of those cars, which are pretty much spaceships, you can't touch each other like if you if you go outside lines on the track, it's like going out of bounds like there's all kinds of rules and Astros kind of more like a free for all.
But they've come to MasterCard and they've done okay, but nobody's done exceptional.
So, um, I believe that NASCAR drivers were right up there in the category of best drivers in the world with them, but it's just a different.
It's a different, um, I don't know.
I mean, I guess if you're gonna go play rugby your great athlete, but you probably wouldn't be, you might not be the specific fit for rugby, so it's just a little bit different.
I mean, I watched a race other day.
I mean, they're like going like 230 miles an hour, then had to make turns.
It's just a different game, like you said.
And thank you like, you know, torque their engines however they want.
You have to really like cars.
And with y'all, it's like either a Honda or Honda engine or something else or your way got Chevys and Fords way.
But no Honda's Yeah, really know Honda's no Honda's Well, that I don't know.
The rumor mill is they've been talking about forever come into sports, so we'll see if they ever do.
But there's no hunting us right now, but the weird thing about form of one, you know.
But the weird thing about form of one is you have you have not only manufacturer, but you also have country support in there.
So, like an entire country can fund a driver.
So, like McLaren f one on dMarc Mercedes F one there in Ferrari, there's from the top ones in their Mercedes.
There went on everything, but they're probably spending out spending everybody by $100 million.
So you're probably gonna do a little bit better if you spend that much more e.
I heard Red Bull heads the team.
Is that true? Oh, yeah.
I read those big in it.
That's where they That's kind of where they started off their whole sports.
Um, you know, marketing deal was with from the one being like, their landmark deal, and then they put, like, Rally Cross and all their dirt.
And, um, you know, X games stuff and all their bat**** crazy stuff came from, you know, the big flagship thing being formed in the one in the global presence.
They have their, but I'm kind of new Formula One.
A lot of guys and NASCAR know about it, but I just started watching, probably like a year, year and a half ago.
But the thing I don't like about it is those cars, they can't get that close.
It also, it's kind of like whoever starts first gonna win if they finished, if they start fit, they're gonna finish fifth.
They're just not much passing compared to what they're used to be in the eighties.
They just they over engineered everything with it.
Which master has a dangerous path going down, which they're trying to get rid of with a new car.
They're coming out within 2022.
So that's what you're saying.
Like it being like a go kart race.
Whoever get the first inter turn and stay on the inside lane is gonna win every time.
Yeah, there's the driver is only as good as his car at that point.
And the engineers are only as good as their budget.
No, you're exactly I'll give you that 100%.
You're exactly right about whenever you have any questions.
No, I'm just listening, man.
I'm still trying to become a NASCAR fan.
I don't know. It's hard.
I mean, I like it like I'm getting there. I'm almost there.
I'm trying you and bugs and low blood sugar and everything else.
What the hell does that have to do with this car? Do you make Have you ever been to a NASCAR race? Sugar there? Just listen, Thio.
What's so good about a NASCAR race? It's like it's like thunder.
I mean, like, every time they freed by, like, thunder, and it gives you this adrenaline in a rush, But then you're out in the heat, and I know you you're gonna grab about the bugs or the heat.
Tragic stated on the sleep.
You know, I gotta go home.
I need a Snickers bar e What we'll get you down there for, like the first lap in Bristol is called Thunder Valley.
I mean, it's literally called Thunder Valley because it's so freaking loud in there.
But, Keith, we'll get you to your race next year when people can go.
And I think they're letting people go this weekend.
But what will dio we'll bring you down.
You'll hear all the car start up and you might see a bugger.
You will get you to the nice little clubs Thio Just to make you happy, we'll make you happy.
Well, even like you said in the pit box with the team.
Actually, we do let you happy sit on the pit box to be like, you know, with with the coach right there on the sidelines so you get to sit with the teams.
Were pretty cool experience, so we'll do that.
And then you'll probably complain.
We'll take you upstairs and then let's just eat.
Do whatever in silence.
E awful e don't have that. I have diabetes.
Have one medical condition.
E no, I stayed there like there was a scorpion.
Arkansas E o steers the guy like you really do.
Like you have a cigarette.
Seconds s So far, I've been I have been on air for at least 20 minutes and I have not had one cigarette.
We go off, you're walking outside smoking a cigarette.
True or not? True that That that is true.
You know NASCAR.
NASCAR was the Winston Cup series.
They can't sponsor NASCAR anymore, but they would they sponsor this podcast just for Keith? They would.
I'm telling you they could It would be perfect.
I don't want to hear about it.
I read the my bookie thing perfectly.
You told me it was wrong and you're eating like a freaking three course meal on camera, so I don't want to hear about it again.
All I want to hear within my book.
You think? I think it's great? Used the code Hillis whatever on.
But I just want to see my it talks about my team.
But my team tonight better show up.
I'm tired. This crab.
I'm with you on that one.
Even if their own 16 I'm still watching.
Not I heard you just barely mentioned there to die hards that are saying that this is the worst team they're not watching.
That is not a die hard fan.
If that's a fair weather fan, the diehard fans, the ones that we can still complain about it.
But we're gonna watch every single time I live in.
Charlotte, I'm going.
I'm risking my my Gmail safety by finding this illegal screaming with lots of brown.
That's awesome. But they don't have tonight.
Oh, my gosh, you guys, you know, you make We should play the trailer for the show.
So that way it could make Hillis look even better and make me look even worse, right? You want to do that? Did you bring your e hate you so much? I don't know why we're friends like e griping.
I read the my book.
You know, you made me think I read the my bookie things so perfect.
And then you just totally disregarded.
You're like, Oh, that makes me look bad.
I know your mom tells you all these great things, but my mom's gonna yell at you.
Matt, Thanks for coming on, man.
I appreciate it's always fun to have you on and you'll be with us next week, right? Perfect guys.
We'll be right back.
Don't go anywhere to in the backfield with Peyton Hillis and his whiny ***** sidekick Keith Migra Talk Thio.
Welcome back, Thio In the backfield with Peyton Hillis and Keith Migra.
I do How those chips going for you? Oh, it ain't all day.
I'm e I haven't eaten anything either, but I can't say that because if I dio I need to go see a doctor, I guess because I have underlying medical conditions e have a bit.
What do you mean, my head. Now we're crack.
You know what Brown's what are we gonna dio way gonna do against the Browns? You may get the Bengals, you idiot.
Yeah, I mean that.
Well, I hope the Browns Well, hey, you may have a ride.
The Browns replying against the Browns.
That's what I meant.
I meant to say that honestly, tonight to me, if the Browns don't win, this game is gonna be a bad season.
Eso just from this so called new cube coming in a book burrows on and then they don't have a defense.
They lost their main guy on defense act.
If we don't come out, run the ball and win this football game by 21 points. 21.
What's Mayfield gonna dio? I mean, what do you What do you think he's gonna be ableto perform? You think he's gonna come out fresh, clean? You think you think last week didn't bother him? E think you'll throw between 1 75 and 200 yards and a couple of touchdowns, but I expect the running game to be there If he's gonna do that.
I mean, that would be ideal, right? No, it should be E.
I understand, like people that don't think that this guy's not any good.
He No, he's good.
I think it's 15.
They just have no chemistry right now.
But which is a problem experienced team is there playing right now like you need to come out and put up a lot of points and win this ball game to get back in the hunt.
What are they going to do to keep way, have to win this game? Well, what are they going to do to keep to keep Burrows intact? I mean, defense obviously got put pressure on.
But what? I mean, he's an experience, right? Okay.
As everybody knows, I mean, I bring up like a Ryan Leaf like Ryan Leaf.
Great quarterback in college comes NFL.
You know? I mean, Burrows.
I'm sorry on this team in Cincinnati.
I don't see him doing a whole lot his first year.
I think he's a good quarterback, but I mean to come out.
And since I'm a Browns fan, I'm hoping the Browns could take advantage of his youthfulness and come out and win ballgames or win this ballgame with hands down.
That's what I'm looking for now.
You think so? With Burrows, being is an experienced as he is, and Cleveland being Cleveland.
Why, I mean, what's gonna happen? How's the matchup? Do you think he's a better quarterback than Mayfield? No.
There's a lot of people saying that I don't care what people say, Okay? You're just saying the lead all the time.
The NFL stood for not for long, so long.
So obviously, if you produce, you know, they think you're the greatest crap ever.
You have one bad season.
You're back in the doghouse.
So, Burrows, he's coming off a season with L s U of winning the national championship did a lot of great things last year.
So he looked at his hot crap and may feel it doesn't matter what he did when the husband three years ago.
He's looked at in the dog house because he's had bad seats.
That's not the way you can compare quarterbacks like.
I don't think that Burrows is half the quarterback that may feel can be if you put in the right position and the right cir***stances is all about team chemistry and honestly.
But I can't wait to watch the game when the show is over.
I really can't like like like I've been.
I've been waiting on this all week because I know in my heart of parts this game, I'm gonna see what this team is all about.
This is a do or die break the season type of game because I really think it is e.
I think you're right.
And as and again, as Tim pointed out, last segment, we're diehard fans, so if they go in 16 whatever, we're still going to support him.
I still I'm still going to support him.
I'm a ***** about it.
I'm gonna complain about it and we're gonna make fun of it.
But at the same time, I don't see this team being that type of team to go on 16.
I think if they get with the chemistry, we're fine.
I'm just saying, like I expected them, you know, before the season, the win, tin ballgames, and so thinking they can win Tim ball games.
But I got to see this game after this game.
I can tell you right now if they're gonna win tin ballgames or not.
I mean, it should be a no brainer.
Cleveland Browns win by 21 points in my head, but we'll see what happens now.
So let's talk about the look at what we have on the I R right now.
I mean, it's not good on the injured list we've had.
We have, um, e mean out of the people we have in the injured list.
What hurts us? The worst.
The Joker, the Joker? That's the worst.
I mean, we're talking about already.
I mean, how we I guess how are we gonna win? I'm saying I'm saying the joke because we need the offense as bad as we need it.
But I'm saying that I are obviously now with the new NFL.
P A rules is not the hour because I used to know it like you put on IR and still come back into the game or into the, uh, playing that season.
Once you put on IR when I was playing, you're out for rest of season e.
I mean, if it's a different, it's a different game in different Arab were playing in and out.
Wow, How come? Why is that? Do you think e What's the purpose behind it? Hey, the truth is like, I don't see why it's a bad thing for the ownership or the players.
I think it's good for both, you know, because it doesn't it doesn't give ownership tough choices by, You know, this guy is gonna be out for eight weeks and we've been in it's week three and do we put him on our or do we do not now.
They just put him on our are still keep him on the roster and go out there and get another guy to fill his spot till he gets better and bring him on.
And then for the player he gets paid full salary at that point instead of cutting down his salary.
And when he comes back on, you know, you still have your players.
So I see it good on both sides with that.
I mean, makes sense, I guess when you when you talk about it like that.
Especially since you think that in a joke.
I mean, he needs to come back, right? You think he's a key piece, toe our success? Dude, I think the kryptonite to every defense, the guy that's gonna make defense sustained can change everything up is the tight end position.
So yeah, I really think e please come back for sure.
So we got I mean, there is injuries on both sides that are gonna that are gonna play effect toe how either team wins and you got Atkins.
So that should be all right for us if we're gonna run right? No way.
Should have 300 yards rushing tonight.
In my opinion, we should really have a lot of Russia.
I mean, I've been extra***ant, but like, honestly, guy, 200 yards is not out of the question with this football team tonight against the Bangles.
It's just it's all about preparation and how we approached this game tonight.
And I agree with my producer, Arkansas, Isaac over here.
Or are star Tyler, where Isaac like honest to God like they if they have the mentality to come out and throw the ball around like it's only gonna mean bad things like it really like, let's hand the ball off.
Let's get some mo mentum.
Let's get that Mayfield in a groove.
Let's not put the pressure on this guy's shoulders.
No, I mean he's not there yet.
He is not there.
He is not a Russell Wilson.
He is not a Tom Brady.
He is not a you know what I mean.
He's not there yet, so let's put the pressure off of him and give it to our stud horses that we have.
I'm not, and I agree with you with that.
The pressure that that man has to be under just from our own media just from the fans, are expectations of this guy.
That's enough to make anybody collapsed.
Like you see, I get why these white pro athletes, like stay off of Social Media for X amount of time because that just it has to get in your brain.
And now you have Mayfield having all this pressure on them.
That's got to affect every snap, every play, every minute.
You know, when I was playing like I had a guy that did my social media because I didn't wanna look at it because that does mess with your brain and oh, my God, let me think about it.
You're And there's no doubt in Mayfield's mind and hearts that he's trying his absolute 100% best.
But he knows that people don't understand the situations that are going on inside the locker room.
And when a fan says, Man, that new sucks, it's gonna hurt him.
It would hurt me because you know you're trying your best because you want to be there and love your team.
But people only reading and hearing what they see on TV or radio or ESPN or whatever, and so they believe the first thing they here and there's not you can do about it.
So But I agree with you.
Stay away from social media as much as you can see, it's the same thing with the fans.
You know how much pressure we put on these guys.
I mean, Dude, it's awful, like I sit back and think about like, you know, that's one benefit, our benefit, the benefit of the doubt that I would give the fans the fans for so long.
NATO winner? Sure.
And it's understandable for them.
I mean, freaking man, they're hungry.
They've been stopped out for so long, Like I don't blame him, You know what I mean? I really don't blame him.
I really don't like with the organization.
Like, if I was the fans, I would take all my focus off the players and put it towards the organization if anything's going to change.
And we talked about that in the past.
Yeah. No, no, we have.
But that's the thing.
Like as a fan, I sit back, and especially after talking with you, I sit back and I kind of like, man, maybe I'm not gonna post this.
Maybe I'm not gonna say some crap about Mayfield today.
Maybe I'm not gonna post some stuff, man, because I want him to come out fresh.
We put a lot of pressure on our players and then get super mad when they collapsed during that kind of pressure, like Dude may feel came into Cleveland.
He was supposed to be the savior of the Browns.
He's supposed to be our franchise quarterback, and he's gonna be a Manziel, too.
And I knew Yeah, that was the end of his career because of the organization that he was coming under.
It's not the players as much.
It is the organization, man, I'm telling you in Cleveland it is the organization.
It's the frame of thought.
It's kind of like with the Indians they play just to make a buck, to stay ahead of the game.
They mean it's kind of like they used to call me all the time Poor man's Jason with like when I was when I was in Denver because I play the H back spot, run the ball and stuff like that.
They used to call me that all the time because I was 1/7 round pick and I could do a lot of things that he does does.
But they don't have to pay me the month well.
That's how the Browns and the Indians are.
They're gonna go get that guy that nobody knows.
They can play ball but don't have to pay him anything.
But when you're not getting paid anything, you have very complicated contract situations.
And then once you do get, you know your time and you do shine some other teams going to get you because the Indians or the Browns or don't want to afford you and they're gonna let me Oh, I mean, e.
And what a shame.
I mean, honestly, God to me, I haven't felt one time in the past 20 years that the Browns have, or the Indians or Indians for a lot longer than that have not really thought about winning a world Siri's as much as for the organization to make money, way all feel that way.
I hate the Dolans.
I mean, everybody know everybody in Cleveland pretty much hates the Dolans, so I mean, you take it over to the you know, you you flip that over and you take it to football.
We have these players that are good, that that do love Cleveland that want to stay there, and then we're constantly trying to flip him out for somebody who would do it for a cheaper cost.
And it's like the same thing I tell my wife for or anybody.
When you buy cheap, you get cheap results.
And that's what we've constantly had over and over again.
And all of our leagues, except with the calves and LeBron James when he was here.
Like I was saying goes, You follow what you pay for? Yeah, and you know, I mean, as a I'm talking about as a diehard Browns fan, which I am.
The Browns have never went out.
If for salary cap reasons, I mean, honestly, it has to begin at the very topic with the owner because he couldn't decide how much of salary cap he needs to spin and where and how he needs to spend it.
There's also loopholes through that, but you know, they have never put it into people's hands.
That could actually help them win ballgames, which is a shame, like, you know, like what I've never understood like, I mean, it's been for years and years, either.
The Browns have always drafted from the quarterback position.
They've never got a seasoned vet unless he's you know 12 or 15 years in, they never got the guy that could come in and win ballgames right away.
And then they always draft from the quarterback spot, which gives a young kid a position to not succeed, and they eventually get rid of him.
It's like almost like they're doing it on purpose, you know what I mean? Like when I finally understood, that is when you draft him.
When we drafted Johnny Manziel, we drafted Johnny Manziel is when I knew how the Browns mindset Waas.
It was never about winning ball games.
It was all about selling jerseys and making money.
And that's what they this is what they dio.
I mean, honest to God, I knew Johnny Menzel career ended.
I was with my wife in New York City.
We're driving right by the square.
When the Browns announced it and I looked at my wife and I said, That's the end of his career and he's not gonna do anything.
You give him a chance.
Getting a chance. You never know.
You're so sarcastic like, and that's what happened because they put a young kid.
He could have been good.
You never know they could have hung in there and have him trying to achieve so much, You know what I mean? And that's just not how things need to go.
You need to be groomed.
And Cleveland's never in the situation to where a veg and quarterbacks in there to groom the younger guy.
I mean, it's never been that way, you know, it makes sense to and again, I get the whole thing about trying to sell jerseys, and I get trying to get people who are, you know, like like, you know, Odell Beckham.
I mean, he's a character, He's colorful. I get it.
I understand that.
But at the same time, I would much rather I mean, as much as I want a jersey, I would much rather see a ring.
I mean, I'd much rather see a trophy.
2 may like I'll go.
Beckham Jr is a guy that thinks he's too good for Cleveland. He does.
That's my opinion.
No, I agree with you.
If I don't if I'm not speaking the truth, Lord, forgive me, but the thing about it is he's a guy that thinks he's better than Cleveland and when he got drafted in Cleveland.
He took it as a knock on his career.
And that's what we got to get away from. Fine.
You don't wanna be here.
I'm gonna build a championship organization.
And I need communication, right.
Communication from the ownership down to the general manager, down to the coach.
This is what we're gonna do.
And we're gonna build this on and stick with it for a few years and see what happens.
Way have because honestly, like this is a great offensive football, potentially a great offensive football team that we have.
It's just if they're gonna have the chemistry and they're gonna work together, and with Odell Beckham on the team, I just don't see that happening.
I just and Matt tipped made a good point cause he's in the chatroom talking with us.
You know? He's right.
Let's get to a winning season before he worry about a ring.
Right, baby steps.
How do we build? I mean, you can't build a dynasty if we don't know what we're doing on your If you can't build a dynasty.
If the only thing you're worried about is selling jerseys, it's just it's not gonna work.
If you bring in these people, it's never gonna happen.
Yeah, dude is like the It's like the kid and problem that's getting beat every day.
And his and their parents were telling that, you know, I'm doing this because I love you and the kid really believes that.
You know, my parents really love me, even though they really Don is how the Browns fans are with the Browns that the ownership in the media are telling.
You know your heart Well, I'm serious, but we're trying our hardest to win.
You all just leave us and trust and is and then usually the And then the players were like the dog and the family home every time he crashed in house.
You just wanna beat the dog and throw him outside.
It's his fault that everything has happened, but you never blamed the owner for how he trained the dollar like you just never blamed the ownership for what they have done.
And I'm not putting.
Like I said, I'm not putting all the blame on the ownership, but at a certain point, as an NFL football team with professional athletes, if you're not winning e.
I mean on a consistent basis for a few years.
You may have some down years, but the Browns haven't won consistently and well, how many years? A few decades like consistently.
No, you're right when they haven't done that.
That is ownership.
That is not players.
That's not player personnel, that ownership.
And no, I think you're right. We're making the wrong decisions.
But you know, and we get on the hype.
So we're Cleveland fans.
So we get on that hype train we give them every year.
The owners, the media, put you on the hype.
Before they build you up so they can put you down.
And I mean, honestly, I'm certainly understand why Baker Mayfield been all social media, has not been talking as much.
He's probably finally starting to understand what I know.
What everybody else should know is that they're out and they're for they're against you, no matter what they're against you.
No matter if you do good or bad, they're looking for you to fail.
So don't even put yourself into that.
I mean, it's like a It's like a crazy psychotic girlfriend or wife.
You have to distance yourself for a little bit trying to get it through your dad.
Come, intellectual properties go back into the No, I like it.
All right, guys, we're gonna take a quick break.
When we come back, We'll jump into some other news around the league in the NFL because we gotta talk Patriots.
Because I haven't made Peyton bad enough yet.
So we'll talk about that and some other stuff.
We'll be back. Don't go anywhere.
Welcome back to in the backfield with a very angry Peyton Hillis and a very scared and very scared Arkansas Tyler.
What happened? What was going on? I wanted on this conversation talking crap about me because I said the New England Patriots one went, wouldn't win six games this year and I still don't think they would.
And I try to make a bet with him that Cleveland wins more games.
The Patriots did, and he wouldn't make the bet.
He wouldn't dio because he's a **** e 01 of the guys like I'm sick and tired of everybody on this Cam Newton train.
The dude threw a for 155 yards, ran for 45 they wanted against the worst team in the NFL.
My opinion and they do some kind of a savior.
You knock out one of my nuts, cut out both my eyes and ears, and I could throw from 1 55 e literally drop one year e.
I will throw from 1 55 a game.
I just want to be clear he's take out a testicle.
Yeah, it's still a list of a man.
When I was trying to get to Oh, God, that's that's epic, man.
Tired of this and like, I'm tired of bullcrap.
I'm really am again.
Joke is a joke and, like everybody in Foxworth's last week, said he's gonna be the M V P.
He threw for 155 yards against the Miami Dolphins.
He's gonna be the NDP, like I think people are gonna say, you know, Peyton, like, doesn't like Cam Newton, and he's mad that they won.
No, I'm just ****ed off that by some look of chance that they played against the worst team, and now they want and they want to know that makes me look bad.
But if you look at the game, it's not even conceivable that they could even win six game.
What? That's what bothers me.
You don't think they're gonna win even six games? You think the browns way? I heard it.
You think the Browns are gonna win Mawr than the Patriots? Do you think about it? They can't beat Buffalo.
They're not making it to the playoffs.
What about Brady? Brady had a sucky did.
He was horrible.
Dude, He's always on a horrible team.
Like he's gonna make that team.
Now he has Leonard Fournette.
They're gonna win ballgames, Dude.
Believe it or not, you go against.
I mean, he played against a very seasoned Saints team and they lost by what, 13 points? Whatever it was, didn't get sacked, like, six times.
He's going, he's going to get him right? There's no doubt about it.
I'm just saying that you can't tell me.
You know what? I don't wanna talk about it more.
I'm so mad right now.
You're getting heated, man.
Is Arkansas Tyler gonna be okay? Oh, he's fine.
He just does it because he knows he can make me mad.
People know you're serious because they're talking about assumes.
You took that hat off it.
Got it. Got riel.
You got riel got really, really You really real.
That was Amanda, by the way.
Oh, like, honestly, this dude runs for, like, 45 yards, and he's riffing off his church.
Oh, I'm so good.
We won by 12 against a few weeks.
Team like it? It makes me mad.
He ran for a Russian touchdown.
E did not know that.
E So you're not You're not about the Cam Newton or you're not.
You're not on the Cam Newton train yet.
How can you be? He won.
Let me let me Let me try to spy this again.
That's like putting a d two football team in the NFL and saying, Hey, am you won 26 games in a row.
You did great, man.
Well, I played against a bunch of re**** a and then everybody thinking you're great.
You turn it around.
Tampa plays Miami and New England plays the saints.
The story be different.
You do not believe that the Saints we're gonna beat the Patriots and the temple.
We're gonna beat Miami.
I mean, we could see we could I don't know.
I don't know, man.
I'm still not sold.
That Tom Brady wasn't isn't gonna be or is is great without Bill Belichick.
I just I still don't believe that.
How many points to the Patriots score? I don't know.
Uh, Tampa Bay Buccaneer score.
Um, I mean, threw two.
Touchdown something That's a plus 24 points.
Okay, You know what Total? Extremely, extremely disoriented.
Tampa had a lot higher of a total offense than the freaking New England had.
I mean, it's ridiculous, it's ridiculous.
And they had home field advantage.
Which is another thing.
E field advantage matters.
And what dude, have you ever played in New Orleans? There's no fans.
Did you ever played in New Orleans Stadium? Yeah, I played last year there before I retired from the NFL.
It was really weird.
It was cool, though.
I like No, I haven't played in new or what the hell point freak up.
It's like playing in a hellhole.
It is terrible, like it gets home field advantage just being in that place.
I'm awful like playing in the same stadium is awful.
Why Why? Why is it so bad? It's dark.
It's like like you have this big dome that's just dark.
And then when you have fans, it's even worse because everybody's wearing black.
It's just off E.
So the Washington football team also got their first win after beating the Eagles.
What are your week to Washington football team? So they're mascots.
It's a football helmet.
Yeah, A like that might be the best response.
Like looks like Washington State.
I was like, What the hell is this? A freaking mascot? Any more ridiculous? That's great.
I'm taking a bullet from the Indians if they try to change your name. That's right.
I really am extra gonna change the Browns name because people have diarrhea and they need to call it something else.
That's gonna happen.
Alright. So weak to predictions.
What do you got? I gotta hear these.
I got to see if what's on this paper matches what you have to say.
All right, go ahead.
So Bangles verse Browns, Browns 24 17.
But I'm gonna go ahead and say that the browns take this game And if they don't win by more than 14 points, I'm gonna be disappointed.
Alright, Be honest.
So you have the Browns beat the Bengals? They'll obviously.
All right, So tonight, Browns beat the Bengals.
Bengals, Giants First Bears.
No, I'm going with the Bears.
I'm sorry. You're going with the Bears.
The Giants were just sucky, man, I'm sorry.
Like the Bears could pull it together to beat the Giants.
I really do believe that.
All right, so then we got Rams Vs Eagles, Rams 28 to 20.
Uh, the Rams don't win by more than that. I'm gonna be disappointed.
Why, though? I mean, that's out of I'm sorry.
There's just all the Q b changes they made.
They have not being good at all.
I mean, they they have not been the same thing, So they're not good, is what you're saying.
No, no, we're not good near the Cowboys either, but we'll go ahead and go through that later.
Well, let's go through it now.
Fact Falcons verse Cowboys Cowboys 22 17.
I think the falcons beat him by more than that.
You know why I actually thought the Falcons played well last week.
Given the cir***stances, I still think they played very well last week.
Alright, e always have the potential to put a lot of points up on the board, so good deal.
So Panthers verse bucks Bucks 31 17.
Man, that's a tough one.
The Panthers are one of those unorthodox teams.
I really can't get a hold on and I want the Bucks to win, of course, because of Brady.
But yeah, I could say the Bucks can win that game, but I don't think it's gonna be by that much.
You don't think so.
What's your prediction? I say the Bucks by seven months.
Alright, I like it.
Niners versus Jets, 40 Niners 34 to 10.
That looks good.
That looks really good.
Alright, Arkansas Tyler got something right.
Steelers Steelers 24 to 7.
That looks good.
That's normal because the Broncos air trash Broncos air that bad that you think the ceiling of blood Broncos crash there.
Like Miami Man and the Steelers, the Steelers have a solid defense and they have a season quarterback.
So Yeah, there's no doubt I could see it.
All right, so let's go with Jags Verse Titans 17 to 10 You know, at this point of Titans will say yes to that, But the Jags played really well last week, man, they look pretty dadgum good.
So and there that underdog team to me, they could come out and do a lot.
But as of right now, I'll stick with that with the Titans.
Alright, so Lions verse Packers Packers 28 20 four.
Yeah, The Packers looked great last week.
Uh, lions have not stone any promise.
I don't think in a couple of years, so I'll take that.
I like it. All right.
Bills, verse, Dolphins bills 21 17.
Are you serious? Dio bills don't blow them up by 14 points.
I'm gonna I'm gonna CEO suck Ha ha ha! And I'm done with that crap.
We're going to get a cease and desist from from Hillis.
Vikings versus Colts Colts 24 20.
You know, I do have to agree with this one on Lee because of Philip Rivers.
The dude can put up can put up yardage and points and he's gonna do it every game, and he don't have a lot to work with.
And like, Honestly, I don't see a lot of great things coming from the Vikings this year.
So you have to believe that.
Really? What do you like about Rivers? I mean, do you like? But what his style? What do you like? Rivers, Rivers? What I love about Rivers is that he is very consistent.
He's gonna have a good year, no matter what his team is.
He's always come out.
He's broke a lot of records.
He's very unorthodox with his throwing motion.
I'll give him give actual Tyler that, But he always warms out.
Either he has a four and 12 season or he has a 10 and six season.
That new puts up numbers and he puts up.
He puts up pointing scores touchdowns.
I mean, last week was another chance to prove it, and he did it with a very terrible team.
And then they fight.
But they should have one.
Okay, I know they lost, but they should have one.
I'm just telling you that.
I believe the codes take this one cold steak.
So the Washington Football Club versus the Cardinals, 27 14 Cardinals.
I'll take the Cardinals just because I hate the Washington football team.
I'm with SOS Arkansas.
Tyler got that right.
Based off emotion.
I mean, if he picks watching, losing every weekend I'm gonna agree with because they should s tired of Ravens verse.
Texans, Ravens 38 28.
Okay, wait a minute.
Is the Ravens at Texans at Houston? I don't know.
Possibly they They are.
You know, I say that Texans take that one.
I'm gonna be honest.
Do the Texas beat the Ravens? So I think that the Texans I think that the Texans, they're one of those teams this year they're gonna be very, very, very.
They're gonna slowly just climbed the charts and make it to the playoffs.
I just think they're one of those teams really their sleeper.
E don't think there are sweep nobody, but I'm just saying I don't think the Ravens are the **** sleep.
I think there's sleeper.
Yeah, Dio I really dio I like it.
So then chiefs first Chargers Chiefs 35 14.
Yeah, I mean, there's no There's no way around that.
And then all right, so I like that.
So then Pats vs Seahawks, Arkansas.
Tyler has pet Patriots win by What is that? 40 points? You know, 24 to 10 Seahawks.
I'm surprised that he's saying they had 10 points.
Do you think the Seahawks are gonna take him? Uh, Saints, Saints First Raiders, Saints 31 to 10.
I think the same thing you're gonna win, but I don't think they're gonna beat them that bad.
You'll think so.
No, I don't think they're gonna beat them that bad.
I like it pushing it.
I mean, there's three touchdowns, man, that z pushing right there.
So? So something happened so that those are picks those of your picks.
I mean, we're going to see what happens.
I mean, I wrote them down so we can compare later.
Arkansas title? No, you wrote them down.
I'm talking about what he said.
So our buddy sir yacht.
A lot of stuff was going on with him.
Man, we can't say why he's not with us right now, but just know he is doing because they envy a but but he's doing good things.
So Syria is not with us right now.
But he was right the whole time he was.
They decided Tuesday night during a vote that they will have a football season, and it's going to begin on October 24th.
The Big 10 commissioner said the main reason they decided to postpone it was because the amount of time it took to get the covert results back.
But he did site that the new quick result test is the reason they felt more comfortable to resume the season. Mawr.
Importantly, I'm happy Big 10 football is back.
But I'm or happy that Syria was right.
I'm more happy that all those reporters and all those haters that talk crap to him for two weeks straight he was right the whole time.
I feel like I'm taking crazy pills here.
The first of all, I'll say this.
I'm glad, sir. Yacht was right. We do.
But if not everybody was on sir yachts mentality, what's gonna happen then? You're re****ed, right in that this guy comes out and says that the main reason they decided to postpone is because of what would happen with Koven.
No, it is because we make a lot of freaking money when we have Big 10 football.
Yeah, of course.
We're not gonna picking it out of the season.
No, you're exactly right.
100% right? And when serious.
So we defended Syria when all this happened, he was actually you brought him on the show to defend him.
When he was all those reporters, Barstool was cracking on him.
Uh, ESPN was making fun of them All.
These people hated this guy, and all he did was have a source.
He refused to name his source, which is just smart.
You don't ever reveal your source ever.
Especially when his source wanted to be, you know, anonymous.
So what? Well, I mean, I felt bad for the guy, dude.
Like, I felt bad for him.
Well, as anonymous.
You mean anonymous? Yeah.
What I say unanimous.
Unanimous, E Say, what did I say? I want to hear it.
I have a mental disease where I can't speak words, right? Oh, yeah.
Let's start that. Shall way.
Thank you, sir. You are.
You get you get mad.
Like honestly, what? Like what? I still don't like what Super Yachts should feel good about is that anybody can make a wildest claim and say I have a source on social media.
I have a source that said that big kids gonna have football.
And if it came from just a nobody or anybody, I don't think everybody would have jumped on their case.
What I want to know is why they jumped on his case when he was really not affiliated with any sports organization or sports media.
They jumped on this case about it.
I'm still really confused about that.
Like, why were they so Yeah, shot that picture journey? Yeah.
You're just mad because you look like Forrest Gump.
Uh, dark glasses.
Come on, now, your credit. Jesus.
No, you're right. Though.
They jumped on his case, you couldn't figure out why you actually reached out to him and said, Hey, you know, I get it you've been at you've been in the media enough to know that thes thes reporters who didn't have the source he had, and we're right now.
There's reporters blocking him because he's calling him out.
He was like, you made fun of me.
You laughed at me. You did all this.
You got these people to turn against him, and it came out that he was 100% right.
So I mean, because always, I've always said whatever the media or the organization tells you, they're trying to make you look over here.
But the real agenda is way over here.
And so I'm saying that, like, always know that the Big 10 we're gonna have a season like honestly, I just don't see how everybody else could see that.
No, Everybody likes money.
I'm not gonna give it up when every other conferences playing, you're gonna jump in.
But number two, number two, you jump on this guy and bash him For what exactly? Why is it so bad that he says, I think the big things we're gonna have a season instead of every bashing you think everybody will say, Oh, my gosh, man, I hope that's true.
But always, haters man always hated bullies.
And that's why I jumped to aside.
I mean, because I just think that, you know, if he really did have a source, obviously he looked like you did.
It Came out to be true.
Like, don't hate on this dude for that.
There's no reason for that.
No, you're right.
And he did have a legit source.
He didn't tell me who the source waas.
But he should have a legit source because he was right the whole time.
Yeah, and that I mean, no matter what, though, like he had.
I mean, I think he loved the game enough and love the fans enough to say I don't want, you know, worry this much anymore.
We're gonna have a season, but I can't tell you.
Why do people hate on them for that? I still don't understand.
Go get your own sources and believe what you want to believe.
Then just say the guy's an idiot.
I don't think so, But don't jump on him.
And some how stupid he is because he has his own opinion.
Well, it's not like that, but I mean, think about this.
All those reporters that that do this for a living.
He did it for a hobby.
I mean, all these people who did it for a living who literally are supposed tohave sources.
This sir yacht came out.
Beat them all to the punch.
I mean, he literally beat every single reporter, including the big networks.
Okay, I'll give sir, you got all the credit, but let's just a For once, I'm not talking to my significant other.
Let's say let's be rational about this.
Sure, you had N B A.
You had major league baseball.
You have NFL that's playing.
You have a lot of college conferences that air playing.
Why wouldn't the Big 10 put their foot in the game at some point or another? You're everybody else is doing it.
Why wouldn't they e believe that they would not have a season's beyond May? Of course, they're going to step in at some point or for them not to. You don't like money.
One person that I know that doesn't like money, but if they didn't have the season, then they had you do Forrest Gump having the reins over the conference.
But they did thank God, but I mean anyway, let's move on.
E didn't want to move on now.
Alright, guys, When we come back, We're gonna talk for actually have Indians baseball as the last thing.
And then we'll have final words with our wonderful host, Peyton Hillis.
So we'll be right back.
Don't go anywhere.
The oh, welcome back to the backfield with Peyton Hillis and Keith Biker.
How you like that? I love this man like e Get so fired up right now.
Dude, you are like, really got five minutes left.
Dude, I wish you have another hour on this show, dude, where we can freaking e.
I think we should record over this dude the first our of us commentating them at the game.
How real announcer should be like, I really do what real announcer should be do.
We're still going to do that YouTube thing where we do like your reactions to movies because they're fantastic.
Do we watch Paul Blart and you literally reroute you re wound that movie to that one part for like, 20 minutes.
We watched that guy fall on his face.
It doesn't look as bad because when you're fat, it doesn't look like it hurt us much.
E when you take a fall on your fat it doesn't look like it hurts as much.
I just don't know why that is like it just looks that way.
That's what that movie is so funny to me.
So we watched that and then like the Karate Kid or something, and for like, two straight hours, it was you saying why these things couldn't happen.
I honestly I e Daniela Russo, like what I do when I was growing up, like the Karate Kid was like the greatest.
And now when I watch it, the dude's like a little a little ***.
You almost made it.
We were five minutes in.
I don't care like and he's like and they think that he was like this greatest thing ever, like the best thing that ever happened to the Karate Kid was the new season of Cobra Kai on Zafar.
That thing that ever happened to karate again.
That's how bad I'm telling you, dude, we have to do a reaction.
Videos of you watching anything, do anything, watch.
It would be funny.
I still think we should do like our own ****ysts, like on Monday Night Football.
When you watch the Browns like us with, you know, on air time.
Sit there and talk about the game.
How every fan is thanking.
But commentators won't say it because there are live TV.
Like, you know, you just been like that freak.
You dropped the ball.
He forgets, sucks with commentators like, Oh, that's a That's a man.
That's a mishap right there.
He's good, though, you doing? Dude, you need to do that.
Oh, man, he's got through with both hands and get your next up heads.
All right? So real quick before we coax.
But I got, like, one minute left.
The Indians, They fell.
We haven't been winning.
We had the pitching went bad.
Um, Bieber's you only right now.
Bright spot of Of what we got going on.
71 Leading the team with Nguyen.
Zero a 1 53 strikeouts.
I mean, he's on fire still, but, I mean, we got swept by the Cubs in the two game season.
We're just We're not good like we're There's something going on.
I know baseball is a game of slumps, but we definitely have ah, bad time being a slump when you only have a read of the Royals.
I was thinking that some bad things at that time, but I'm still gonna believe that they're gonna win the pennant.
I'm still believing that Cleveland, there's a massive changes in 11 games they have to make, but I still believe it.
Well, right now, Cleveland 55 Nothing.
Bottom of the fourth were up.
I'm telling you right now a za Right now I feel better about my Indians, but I do my brownies.
As of right now, we'll see after tonight.
But, I mean, the Indians have shown fight this whole year.
They come back and forth, back and forth, but they always come back.
They always fight back.
I'm just opened.
The Browns didn't show the same way we could do it.
I think we could do a final words.
What do you got? One of the browns.
What are we gonna do? What are the Indians? What's happening? Final words.
Because, you know, if the Browns don't win by 14 to 21 points, I'll be upset.
If they lose this game, you're gonna hear me be really angry next week on our show.
So let's hope that the Browns win tonight.
Let's watch the game very closely to see if we can take it even better next week.
Man, like I'm nervous.
It's like a kid at Christmas.
Like watching this game like, you know, it's that game, you know, you should win, but you're afraid you're gonna lose. That's right.
Like that's what scares me about this game coming up.
I think we'll be okay, though. I think you're right.
I think if we can If we could get Mayfield to calm down and everybody to calm down and get the chemistry back, we're gonna be all right.
It's gonna be fun to watch too.
But I'm not in Arkansas with you guys.
E during that were in Arkansas.
Like I say we recorded and put it on Twitter later, like us.
Like predicting the game.
I think it make head Williams.
We need to dio we'll do it next time so I'll be down there like two weeks so we'll be good to go.
Alright, guys, we'll be back next Thursday, 6:30 p.
Eastern Standard time, right here in the backfield.
Make sure you tune in, follow us on Twitter.
All that good stuff, and we'll talk later, guys.
