We're going to preview Browns versus Steelers.
We're going to do this thing together.

Tweet the show at pedo My take tweet me on Twitter at Nick Padoan 12 is the best way to do that.

But first, the Cleveland Indians air dead and boy are weren't those bats dead during that during that opener? Uh, during that playoff opener, hand dug out.
Muggs is here to help us drink our sorrows away as Cleveland Indians fans.
I got my bat mug with me on set, and you can get yours, too.

And like me, you could be in the dugout like so many others.
The president of the United States has a dugout.
I got his signed bat mug right here.
He's in the dugout.
You can't be too.
The easiest way to go about that is dugout mugs dot com.
All right, here we go.
Let's do this thing.
The Browns air back.
I got my browns hoody on.
It's not a dog pound hoody and it's not a Freddie Hoody.
The Browns air so back, folks.
How about that win, Huh? Best defense in the league.
Come on. Not for Baker.
Not for Jarvis, Not for Kareem Hunt.
Not for D Earnest Johnson.
Another 30 burger this week, and I'm confident the Browns were back.
We never left Brown's 32 cults 23 it's rivalry.
Week four and one for the first time in 26 years.
Stefanski has one mortgage aims in five weeks than Hugh Jackson.
5 year tenure with the Browns.
Baker past Ben Roethlisberger for the winningest quarterback in First Energy Stadium in you know, the 11 year with 11 wins.
God, this feels so great.
Let's talk about the winds, the goods of that wind first, and then we could get into some of the bad.
And, of course, just drop your questions right into the chat.
I got it pulled up here, and you could tweet me, as always, Ethnic.
Put on 12 episode on my take, but I got the chat pulled up right here, if you gotta.
Brown's question fire way for us Let's talk about the good first.
He's all the way back.
He looked good, man.
We've only been begging for it.
For how long? We got some Hollywood back in Cleveland.
That was awesome.
Baker looks really sharp in the first half and we're gonna get to second half Baker and our concerns with that because he didn't look great throughout the whole game.
Obviously, that's a concern, so we'll get to some of that.
But first half Baker look like 2018 Baker, the guy that we were used. Thio.
He was throwing lasers all over the field.
He got Odell involved.
He got Higgins back involved, who was a 2018 hero? How about Austin Hooper, his kind of coming out party in the first half, even though it was a little bit of a smaller game? Bigger looked really good.
Keep moving the tight ends all the way around.
They were involved.
I just mentioned his name Harrison Bryant.
Not his biggest game in terms off catches, but he was able to find his way on the onto the field in the blocking game.
David to joke a huge catch on third down I think he's gonna be big throughout the rest of the way.
Myles Garrett, one man wrecking crew, Sheldrick Red wine and Ronnie Harrison.
We're gonna talk about them later in the show is.
Well, man, they looked good as well.
Let's hit these comments quick.
Let's hit these comments early and often Today.
We got Randy Gers e asking keys toe win against Pittsburgh.
We're gonna get to that later in the show.
My biggest key, though, I'll give you a sneak peek already is gonna be to keep that ball away from Big Ben Roethlisberger.
And you do that on the ground game.
You do that with Cream Hunt, and you do that with Dear honest Johnson in the absence off Nick Chubb.
That's my biggest key big play, Dave, in the comments asking, Will Olivier Vernon do anything this week? I think he will.
And the reason why is because Myles Garrett makes everybody's life easier.
The Browns defense folks, it's not that good.
It's not that talented.
We've seen Mawr.
Talented defense is in Cleveland in the past, but there's somehow leading the league in turnovers.
You wanna know why they're leading the league in turnovers because Myles Garrett is continually putting pressure on the quarterback.
And that's exactly what this Brown's team needs him to do.
So that's a little peek into peek behind the curtain of our rivalry week Pittsburgh Steelers preview.
But we gotta talk a little bit about the bad folks because Browns fans kind of ticked me off on Sunday.
I was sitting on the couch.
I was watching the game with my dad with my beautiful girlfriend Cam.
We're having a great time.
You know, Brown's Colts Browns were winning.
You know, the really the whole game.
And then fourth quarter Baker gets hurt.
He takes that shot to the ribs and bakers hurt.
He's going into the blue medical tent.
Defense comes on the field.
I walk onto Twitter, as I often times do, and I'm looking through Twitter and fans on Twitter media on Twitter.
They seem a little bit too fired up for my liking.
That case, Kate, um, was getting ready to check into that game.
People, we're finally seeing all imagine this Browns game.
Imagine this Browns offense with a competent Q B in there.
Imagine getting a competent quarterback involved in cheering for case.
Listen, folks, I have No, I know I've had this rant on this show before, and I'm not going to do it again right now.
But Baker Mayfield is the guy that this organization spent a number one overall draft pick in.
And I know he was bad in that second half.
He was getting sacked, the ribs definitely looked bruised.
And And he was bad. He was throwing high.
We saw all of it together.
But you can not.
And I repeat, you cannot kick this guy to the curb unless he's without one arm out there and replace him with Case Keenum, you will see your season go to hell in a handbag so quick you will see everything.
This team John Dorsey, Andrew Barry.
Hell, even Sashi Brown worked so hard for Baker.
Mayfield needs to be the guy for this team as a fan base.
As a media as a collective Brown's unit.
We need to get behind this guy because he was the number on overall pick.
And I'll tell you what, At four and one already this season, the Browns are gonna come close to Trevor Lawrence.
I saw a tweet on Sunday that said, Can the Brown somehow get into the Trevor Lawrence sweepstakes? When Baker went down and I said, Really, I know he's having a bad second half, but really, we're going to start talking about the Trevor Lawrence sweepstakes in Cleveland when the team is four and one for the first time in my life, for the first time in all my friends life, all my young media peers, their life's, too.
And we're gonna talk about throwing this cat to the curb.
Let's talk about his leadership.
Let's talk about how he turned things around the way that he promised Thio.
You know, let's look into Let's look into New York a little bit.
Let's let's go, Teoh.
You know, the Jets talk about them for a second here if you all don't mind, because they're dealing with the situation over in New York, where Levian Bell is gone, he was released yesterday.
He's disgruntled with the team.
We know that Sam Donald involved in trade rumors.
Now people are very fed up with Sam Donald.
Obviously the inaccuracy, the injuries he had mono last year.
This year he's dealing with that injury on again, off again do you wanna be that? Do you want to be the Jets again? And maybe you do.
Maybe it's more fun for some people.
Maybe it's more fun for some media, but that's not fun to me, no part of being the Jets, no part of one and 31 was enjoyable to me.
Off course, it was easier at that time because we had the Cavs.
We had the tribe.
Life was a little bit easier to get through that one and 31 But right now the Browns air good were foreign.
One stopped going.
Baker under the bus.
He's the leader that he promised.
Remember when Hugh Jackson and I know saying his name is like saying Lord Baltimore around this city? But remember when Hugh Jackson told that story that Baker Mayfield was like the Pied Piper for the Cleveland Browns, and that at his pro day at his pro camp at Oklahoma, he said he and everybody rallied around him, and that's why the Browns bought into Baker because he was good.
He had that swagger.
He had that moxie.
We always heard about that's leading toe wins, folks.
We're seeing the plan that was put to paper be turned into action in 2020 and it's working.
None of this is accidental.
This was all planned, and it's all working.
So speaking of that, ESPN suggests the Browns should be among the teams Thio pursue.
I'm gonna go ahead and give that a hard pass.
No, the Browns should not be in one of the teams Thio be interested in signing.
Leave Ian Bell. And here's why.
Lady in Belle needs the Browns.
The Browns, however, do not need Levian Bell, and what I mean by that is he would fit in the system.
I'm not arguing that he's a through the tackles type of runner.
We saw it in Pittsburgh twice a year every year.
Levian Bell is very good, and if you think we should sign Levy on Bell, drop a comment. Tweet.
The show at Pinon might take Tweet me at Nick Payton. 12.
Let me know if I'm off base here.
Levian would look really good here, but the thing is, the Browns don't need them.
Like I was just talking about your four and one.
You have a good thing going.
Aside from the defense, which isn't so pretty at times.
Why would Andrew Barry and Kevin Stefanski and this offense throw Alex Van Pelt's name in that hat? Wanna mess anything any of this up? This is fun.
Watching this offense are four straight games with scoring 30 plus points.
When's the last time that happened? Probably 26 years, because it hasn't happened at all in my life.
Andrew Barry, Kevin Stefanski.
These guys, they preach smart football players.
That's what they said from the start.
We want guys that are gonna be smart football players.
Um, I don't know Lavia on Bella.
I I really don't even know where he went to school.
I'm not gonna lie with my audience.
I don't know his a c T score his I Q score any of that.
But what I do know is when he signed with the Jets, he announced it in his mix tape.
He he dropped a song and announced that he was signing with the Jets via a mix tape, and it seems like he has been kind of mawr into his music than into football, and that doesn't jibe well with myself.
truthfully and a lot of people I'm just out on leave.
He's 28 his best days might be behind him.
So with that said, though, you guys don't wanna You guys don't want to hear about that because it's Pittsburgh weak, man.
It's black and yellow, you know it's they play renegade in that stadium.
You guys know how this works, those terrible towels, because we gotta beat those Pittsburgh Steelers to be legitimate contenders in the A F C North, Lamar Jackson, the Baltimore Ravens.
If you've watched any of their games this year, they don't look like world beaters to me. I'm sorry.
You know, we were all waiting for the moment where Lamar looked human and Lamar, You know, people always said, Lamar isn't always going to be that guy that's gonna be able to run all over the field and amaze you with your legs.
He's gonna get hurt.
That kind of football isn't sustainable that they're playing up in Baltimore, look and say they're still winning games.
But what I'm trying to say is the blueprint is out to beat them.
They looked beatable and then you look at these Pittsburgh Steelers.
Of course, they're undefeated there.
Three and oh, they had that by week because the Titans had their cocoa situation there.
Coronavirus situation that they were going through in Tennessee.
But you look at this.
This Brown's team, this A f C North, this division call me crazy again.
The comments. Tweet the show. All that good stuff.
I think the door to this division could be piqued open. Just a crack.
Just a small, tiny crack for a certain four in one team that going into this season, people were legitimately asking themselves and legitimately putting the question out to the general public.
As if do the Browns have the worst quarterback within their own division with a rookie quarterback and Joe Burrow? That was a conversation that was being had.
Don't shoot the messenger because I think this division is still cracked open for the Browns to make a run.
So So let's talk about that Sunday.
Brown's traveled to Steelers.
We know that 1 p.m. game.
The A Crew is on the call.
We know that this is the best game in the NFL this week.
They probably didn't want to give us prime time because of the Myles Garrett drama.
And then everything with that I get it.
They moved last year is supposed to be a double prime time game.
It didn't happen.
I understand that fully.
The Browns and Steelers both have four wins when we're looking at the fax going into this game.
Ah, fact is, the Browns of the Steelers both have four wins.
Another fact is the four teams the Browns have beaten have a combined seven wins.
The Bengals, the Washington football team, the Dallas Cowboys in the Indianapolis Colts.
Most recently, the four teams Pittsburgh has beat have a combined Onley three wins.
Pittsburgh guys hasn't really played anybody that they were in really kind of a shootout with Carson Wentz in the Philadelphia Eagles and Carson Wentz looked OK.
People were willing toe, you know, Right, Carson Wentz off.
Get Jalen hurts in there.
Just last week, how soon we forget.
And now, dude, he looks OK because he played the Steelers, the Steelers air beatable team.
I think this is a winnable game because the Browns have Mawr offensive talent and the Browns have proven that they could go out there against the best defense in the league in the Indianapolis Colts, who are leading the NFL in a lot of statistical categories, I think the Browns can go out there and hang with the Pittsburgh Steelers because of the offense.
We always talk about that.
The Chiefs were won the Super Bowl last year because they score a lot of points.
Could you guys name other than you know, the big guys they have D for, You know, they have the big pass rushers they have a good front for in Kansas City.
Could you name one of those linebackers? Because I can't.
The Browns can put up points, and that's why I'm optimistic going into this game, uh, need to run the ball needs to be a healthy dose of cream hunt.
Deer. Earnest Johnson.
I'm optimistic because the Browns have scored 30 or more in four straight weeks.
Uh, Pittsburgh, however, is a much more active defense.
I know that Colts defense is very good.
We talked about bad.
They league ah, lot of statistical categories.
Obviously, we have them beaten turnovers, But the Indianapolis culture good team.
Just the eye test, though Pittsburgh is much more quick to the ball.
They're much better tacklers, you know, They got that front four, and Baker talked.
Talked about this today when he met with the media.
There's a lot of talent in that Steelers front four, but they know how to best utilize that talent.
They know that they can hurt you with T. J. Watt.
They know you can.
They can hurt you with Bud Dupri.
Those guys are all over the field, whether it's via the air, whether it's via the ground.
The Pittsburgh Steelers air a tackle machine they always have since the days of James Harrison a couple years back.
We all remember that so well, but I think the Browns offense keeps them in this game.
The Steelers have only scored 30 or more points once.
That was last week, when they hung.
Are you know Sunday when they hung 38 on the Philadelphia Eagles? So that's why I think the Browns can hang here.
And this is one of those games to me where if you get down seven or you get down 10 early and you're in the second quarter down 10 against the Pittsburgh Steelers and your Kevin Stefanski.
You don't get away from that game plan dog.
You need to keep running the ball.
You need to keep having Baker throw those safe passes toe O B J toe Landry via the slants.
When that middle of the field is open, get Austin Hooper.
Get David to joke you back.
And when that time of possession throughout the last four games, the Browns have dominated, dominated the time of possession.
And that's what's been so refreshing to see.
And you want to know how you beat an aging quarterback that's just coming off of a Tommy John surgery on Sunday and Big Ben Roethlisberger.
You have run the ball and you keep them off the field.
I think I don't know.
I'm not a medical expert, and we did have Dr Jessie Morris, sports physician on the show last week.
Go back and listen to that for free on demand.
Apple podcast on Spotify.
Just search. Put on my take.
Yeah, not a medical specialist, but I feel like if you have a Tommy John surgery and that elbow starts not being used that much and it's sitting on the sideline just getting oh, ever so sore.
Oh, my throwing motion isn't going to be so pure when I get back on the field because that that Brown's offense was running the rock down the Steelers D throat.
This is the kind of game Stefanski I know.
You've taken some gamble so far.
I'm a fan of that.
Hey, man, don't be afraid to stay with it and run that rock and settle for three, because the more that Big Ben and James Connor and Juju Smith Schuster held Chase Claypool, who went off on Sunday.
As long as those Cats are on the sideline, you're gonna be OK if you're the Browns, if you're Kevin Stefanski, and that's what I'm much more excited about.
It's perfectly OK for Browns fans to go into this game and to be cautiously optimistic, yet extremely nervous regarding the defense because so far on a consistent basis and feel free as always, you know, drop these comments, drop these comments about the defense.
I'll answer anything you guys have.
It's perfectly cool to be nervous about this defense because outside of Myles Garrett and I know, Dave asked the question.
Will Olivier Vernon do anything this week. I will.
I think he will, because Myles Garrett demands that kind of attention on his side of the line.
And I think this could finally be the week against the Pittsburgh Steelers, who are world beaters.
We know that that Myles Garrett finally causes that kind of disruption.
The Steelers know it well, what he's capable of, and I think Olivier Vernon finally gets in there and helps out.
But outside of Garrett, man, what have we seen out of these guys? What have we seen out of Andrew Sendejo? Statistically, he's been really bad.
I saw he's pro football.
Focus is like 80th ranked safety, which means that there's backups, third strings and special teamers that are ranked higher than Andrew Sendejo. J.
Joe Woods has kind of worked my nerves a little bit with some of these defensive rotations when Joe Woods was hired, and I wish so badly someone would ask him about this in the media availability.
When Joe Woods, you know, specifically meets with the media, he promised that we're going to see a rotational defense, which means, you know, the Browns have safety galore.
Like the depth chart is moderately deep.
You have Karl Joseph.
You thought you were going to have Grant Delp it? Who you drafted second overall? You know, second wound overall.
In the draft, you have Sendejo.
You have Sheldrick red wine who returned? You have a bunch of, you know, backup DBS, MJ Stewart and guys like that.
And it was kind of promised Ronnie Harrison.
It was kind of promised that it was going to be rotational, and I was really looking forward to that because I feel like that was something that Greg Williams definitely struggled with.
And that was definitely something that we didn't see at all last year with Steve Wilks.
So I was hoping we would get some new unique looks I hope we could have the to.
Safety is close to the box of times.
One safety falls back at times and really all I've seen outside of the one play that Sheldrick red Wine was allowed to play where he comes up with an interception and huge point in the game is Joe Woods doesn't rotate these safeties at all much rather Jo Wood's plops Andrew Sendejo out there.
He has taken a slaughtering on Brown's Twitter and he just gets torched by the deep.
All we know, Big Ben can still do one thing and one thing really well.
And we know the Pittsburgh Steelers do one thing really, really well in supporting Big Ben in doing this.
And that is throwing really deep out.
Big Ben in that are not even big Ben.
Doc Hodges in that second game against Pittsburgh last year, torched Denzel Ward and greedy Williams with Deontay Johnson and a bunch of dudes that frustrated the living hell out of me.
That was so annoying, and I don't want to see that on Sunday.
And, of course, that we know it probably won't might not happen with Myles Garrett with Olivier Vernon putting that kind of pressure on up front.
But, man, I just I can't fathom the thought of Juju Smith Schuster, who is on my fantasy team of Chase Claypool off all people of Deontay Johnson if he's healthy, torching the Browns in the center of the field just because Anderson dejo is too too old.
Listen, Anderson dejo got a lot of junk on social media this week, and rightfully so.
You're a professional athlete when you get put on the field.
You're paid to go out there and make plays.
You're paid to go out there and perform.
And Andrew Sendejo did not do that.
I don't think anybody is disputing that, but I got to put some of it on Joe Woods.
I'm gonna back Anderson dejo here for a second because he's an older dude on the back nine of his career.
Come on, Joe Woods.
Would it kill us? Would it kill us? Toe play Sheldrick.
I'm the founder, CEO chairman off the Sheldrick Red wine fan club.
I'm proud of that.
I take pride in that Sheldrick red wine is my dude.
I think the turnover chain at Miami was super cool.
I was hoping you would bring it here.
I think he's, uh, dude from Miami That could ball the dude from born raised Florida could ball in Sheldrick red wine.
I just want to see more of him. Joe Woods.
You have this young safety that last year of, of course, different regime.
We have to keep that in mind.
Same organization, though, spent a mid round pick and said, this guy is going to be our safety of the future.
They knew Damaris Randall was on the out.
You have this new gadget toy and Sheldrick red wine to play free safety, and prior to Sunday, we hadn't seen any of him.
I was actively begging for Sheldrick red wine to play on this show that I host by myself for an hour each week.
On Wednesday, I was begging for it in part on Twitter.
I was begging for it on the Monday show with Dave and Chris MacNeil.
I was begging for it on fan sides dog pound daily, where I like to cover the Browns, and I like to write my opinion about all things related to Brown's.
I was begging for Sheldrick red wine, and I wasn't seeing any of them, and I was getting mad when that interception it happened.
I was so happy, like, yes, they finally used them.
And then what's the next thing I know? Andrew Sendejo is back on the field like why? Why, why Joe Woods put that guy in.
He doesn't have the facilities, Big man.
He's not that dude anymore.
He's not that guy that he was in the prime of that Minnesota Vikings defense.
With that, said, I know that was a little bit of negativity right there. The Browns.
When you look at the talent of this roster and if you have a question again, drop it below.
Drop that question below.
Browns have the offensive talent to go into Heinz Field and to play the Pittsburgh Steelers and toe win.
I don't care what anyone from Pittsburgh says to Cleveland, Ohio.
This game is a rivalry game.
This week is rivalry Week with everything that happened last year when Myles Garrett swung that helmet at Mason Rudolph.
The Browns rivalry was back on when Freddie Kitchens wore the Pittsburgh started a T shirt.
The Browns rivalry was with no doubt in my mind back on, and the Steelers felt that to the Steelers went into that second game, where in the T shirts that were trolling the Browns, it was animated cartoon of a character peeing on the Browns helmet.
I don't forget that the players certainly don't forget that because this is rivalry week, the Browns air going to try to stand up, and when this game they're not talking about it, but because of everything that happened last year.
The Browns air going toe want to compete in this game.
I'll give you my official prediction in one moment.
When we come back, we're going to get right into LeBron James.
Is he the goat? What does this ring mean for his legacy? Doesn't mean more than the 2016 championship.
I don't think so.
And I'll tell you why.
Right after this you're listening to Don't my take on big play dot com.
We'll be right back.
Okay, welcome back.
Input on my take.
My name's Nick Padan.
You're listening to this on big play dot com.
I want to thank everybody who's watched so far, whether it be on Twitter's periscope, whether it be on Facebook live, whether it be on YouTube, whether whether it be on big play dot com, I appreciate you guys watching this show.
What I want you to do is drop a comment below because we have ah couple coming into the show as we get ready for this Steelers week.
Let me pull these bad boys up, Diane Baker asks on Twitter at Put on my take at Nick Payton 12.
Is it true that away games are over due to Cova. 19.
Uh, Diane, I will inform you that that is not true.
The NFL has not put anything out the away games or not being canceled.
The Browns will be in Heinz Field.
If you want to be like Diane, If you wanna ask you a question, make sure hop in on this action.
Uh, drop it right in the periscope.
You could tweet me at Put on my take.
Tweet me at Nick Payton, 12 as well.
That's the best way to engage with me on there.
Let's talk, LeBron.
I feel like this is long overdue.
LeBron won his fifth with his fourth, eh? NBA championship as a member of the Los Angeles Lakers, accompanied by Anthony Davis.
It was also LeBron James is fourth, eh? NBA Finals M v P.
Huge kudos to LeBron James and the L A Lakers.
Many people were saying this was the toughest championship ever and quite frankly, I was a little bit worried as a Cavs fan as a Cleveland supporter, day in and day out, I was so, so, so nervous that the Browns are that that that the Cavs championship was going to be deteriorated by the Lakers winning this one because it seemed like this championship was so easy, like there was no other way for LeBron to win it than winning it this year.
You know you have the tragic death of Kobe Bryant, who was just a staple to the Los Angeles Lakers organization to the city of L.
Kobe Bryant was so beloved, and there are so much divide in the Los Angeles basketball community in the basketball community in general.
When LeBron went to L.
A and people were asking, Is LeBron you know, Ah, top three Laker of all time.
Is it a top 10 Laker of all time? You know, you know, that's that's what's frustrating.
And that's why I was getting nervous.
But listen, this is this isn't a bigger idea.
This isn't a bigger championship rather than 2016.
And that's what makes me so happy as a Cavs fan.
Because I started Thio after the trophy was hoisted, and after LeBron accepted it and had his interview with Rachel Nichols, I started to come back down to Earth.
I was like, Okay, this is actually okay.
There was no crying on the floor.
There was really no celebrating.
There is no hugging Frank Vogel.
There is no L. A.
This is for you.
There was none of that.
There was just a lack of emotion.
There was handshakes.
There was high fives.
But there wasn't that sheer joy.
And that sheer championship passion that we saw from LeBron in 2016.
Listen, the heat sucked.
This was by far the LeBron's easiest ring.
The heat are a good team.
I I talked about it on here.
Tyler hero is a really good player.
Um bam, out of bio, in my opinion, should have won most improved player.
Uh, Jimmy Butler is a blossoming superstar.
He's really gonna explode onto the scene late in his career, but really come on like it was the tandem of LeBron and a D.
That's not the way it was supposed to be in this finals.
It was supposed to be LeBron Yonas.
That's what people were waiting for.
That's what people were excited about.
And LeBron knows in his heart, and he'll never say this.
Maybe in a book, maybe in a future book or on a future podcast on that uninterrupted on HBO on all that stuff that LeBron does, you know, extracurricular early.
Maybe he'll say it there.
LeBron knows in his heart that 2016 was his most important championship because he did it for the city of Cleveland.
He broke a 52 year title drought.
He brought the championship trophy home to a parade of 1.
3 million people.
And then he left the city again.
And really locally, nobody batted an eye.
There's people that are upset at LeBron for leaving.
There's people that wanted the Lakers to lose in Cleveland because LeBron left and you're entitled to that.
Nobody's taking that away from you.
But LeBron knows that in Cleveland in 2016 coming back from being down 3 to 1 against the team that was 73 9 with the first ever unanimous finals, M v p.
I'm gonna say something dangerous.
LeBron could threepeat in L. A.
In the with the Lakers in a stacked Western Conference with Golden State coming back healthy with the Clippers and their two superstars with the O.
K C Thunder and the Denver Nuggets and the Utah Jazz, and those young up and coming teams that were so fun toe watch throughout the bubble.
LeBron's gotta play all those dudes.
But if he three peats against all those dudes, it won't feel as cool as 2016 Felt 2016 was just the perfect storm.
It was the Warriors who had beat us the year before, who the city had such disdain for.
Out of nowhere, it was a 52 year title drought, and people were fed up.
We watched him win two in Miami.
He's got Kyrie here and half of Kevin Love.
When when it came time for the Finals.
Like, what's LEBRON gonna do? Can LeBron actually win in Cleveland by himself, with with himself as the sure fire one a leader with no Dwyane Wade? And he did.
And that's what makes me so happy.
You got a tough road ahead.
Like I said, Golden State's gonna become coming back healthy.
They gotta, you know, number two overall, pick in the draft.
So the Lakers, they're gonna be stacked and coming back at full strength.
But till LeBron James, the kid from Akron, the four time champion from Akron and when people want to get into these Jordan versus LeBron versus Kobe versus Welt and do these debates.
I just want everyone in Cleveland, especially in Akron. Especially.
I just want everyone to sit back and realize that right now in Cleveland, we're appreciating greatness.
We get toe watch greatness, even though it's in Staples Center, even though it's in those quirky Hatem 10 PM starts whenever LeBron straps up, those purple and gold shoes were gonna be ableto witness greatness.
And that's what I That's why I appreciate most about him.
So let's chill with, you know, some of those debates.
Let's let's kind of cheer things up.
Let's get back into the Cleveland Browns football.
It's rivalry Week.
I know that's what everybody's pumped about.
That's why everybody clicked on this.
Thio, hear me talk? Let's talk about adjusted wind totals, huh? Because going into this season, um, you look at this, you know? Ah, schedule.
We play the schedule game right? Every off season 10 and six.
So I could see 11 and five people like screenshot it, and then they draw on their phones like the W's and the Owls, and then they tweeted out.
And whenever the schedule drops, you have, like a million of those.
Okay, well, let's do an adjusted wind total here for the Browns because they're sitting pretty at four and one going into Pittsburgh to play the Steelers.
We know that's gonna be a tough game.
We know we know that is not going to be an easy one, but then you take a peek ahead.
Dare I On Rivalry Week? Take a peek ahead for an adjusted wind total, and you're in Cincinnati to play the Bengals.
They haven't looked good.
That offensive line that we played just a few weeks ago, it surely don't look any better.
Joe Burrow is not staying off with his butt off the turf.
The Oakland Raiders there hit or missed? Do I really trust Jon Gruden to beat this Browns offense? I don't know.
Then you got the by.
Then you got the Texans.
You know, they fired their coach and GM Bill O'Brien.
We do have a question on Twitter from Cameron Kuchar.
Kim's dad asks, Will Big Ben throw over 300 yards this week? I'm gonna say no, but it's gonna be close.
I think Ben is going Thio be as close to 300 as he can be without going over 300.
And the only way of preventing that is, please Browns play Sheldrick Red Wine.
Play Ronnie Harrison.
If he passes concussion protocol, use some of those safeties in rotation.
And don't let Ben throw it through the Air Dens Award.
We're gonna be without greedy Williams again.
They need to create turnovers.
We saw that, um, you know, a couple of weeks now where the ball just kind of goes through the receiver's hands are through the defensive backs, hands that can't happen this week.
That can't happen against the Steelers and Big Ben.
If you get a chance at an interception, you got to take that ball away, and I think they could do that.
I think if they do that, that's a sure fire way toe win.
That's a sure fire way to make sure that Ben doesn't throw the ball over all down our necks and for 300 yards okay, back into adjusted win totals coming off the bye week, you play the Texans.
I feel like that's all that needs to be said here then you play, uh, the Eagles in Philly.
This is kind of a little bit of like a off like, Ah, home stand here because the Texans is in Cleveland.
The Eagles are in Cleveland.
They are in Jacksonville, but that's Gardner Minshew.
You guys see what I'm getting at here.
The Tennessee Titans are a good team.
I could see that being a lost.
Obviously, the Ravens air really good.
You end the season playing both New York teams and the Pittsburgh Steelers, but I'll repeat that for anyone that didn't hear the first time through.
You play both New York teams and the Pittsburgh Steelers to end the season.
What a perfect way to tune up for the last game of the year that could have playoff implications put into it by playing both New York teams.
Before you host the Steelers at home, I'm excited just thinking about it.
The Jets air clearly tanking.
They cut Levian Bell.
Sam Donald is garbage.
He's a shell of its former self, and I'm so beyond happy that the Browns didn't draft him.
He's not what he was at USC, and at the same time he's exactly what he was at USC because he's an injury prone turnover machine.
And then you have the Giants who are gonna be without, say, Kwan Barkley.
There are Dumpster fire.
Could Joe Judge, you know, be a one and done doesn't jibe with me.
Very good does not jibe with me Very good at all.
If I'm a fan of those to you to New York teams and it's the perfect tune up and get ready for those Pittsburgh Steelers.
So let's get into one of my favorite new segments.
And I built a little thing for it because it's time for the NFL whip.
If you haven't watched the show for a while, hell, if it's your first time watching the show, if you're out in the world of big play dot com and Facebook, the NFL whip is presented by big plate dot com.
Who is the host of our show? Big play is your number one source for live interactive sports talk every week.
Give them a follow at big play underscore calm where we whip around the NFL in 15 minutes or less, and that's exactly what we're going to Dio right here is we're going to give you predictions on every NFL game.
Of course, these were going to be the proper predictions for every NFL game around the season here in Week six.
So no Thursday Night Football tomorrow night.
That kind of bums me out.
Not sure what I'm going to deal with my Thursday night.
So we start on Sunday in Tennessee on a short week where the 10 of really short week with Tuesday Night Football, where the Tennessee Titans will host the Houston Texans.
Let me say this.
I think Mike Vrabel is the perfect type of coach that the Titans needed to combat the coronavirus and everything that went on over there.
I don't know how Mike Vrabel feels.
I don't know how the Tennessee Titans feel about the coronavirus, but just from the looks of it, just as an outsider looking in, they weren't taking that thing too seriously.
They were practicing practicing at a local high school.
They were trying to win some games when that facility was shut down and they did, and they beat the undefeated Bills and they did so handedly on national TV.
Ryan Tannehill is back.
I don't know if I really trust Romeo Coronel traveling to Tennessee for this game.
If it gets played, if everything keeps going according to plan, as far as the covert tests go in Tennessee, give me the Titans in this one.
I got Titans to start off the week.
Then we go to Indianapolis to the place that Peyton built as the cult host.
The Cincinnati Bengals.
We saw it firsthand.
The culture a pretty good team.
Jonathan Taylor was a pretty good running back.
The Colts were able to stop the Browns at times in spots.
I think they'll be able to do the same thing with Cincinnati.
The difference is, I think the Colts just have more talent than the Bengals.
At this point, the Bengals are a good team, and when I look at the Bangles like next year, I think this is the type of game that the Bengals will be ableto win with Joe Burrow in his second season.
But this year, give me back to back.
I'm picking the home team.
I'm picking the Colts over the Bengals.
We go to Minnesota, where Mike Zimmer and Gary Kubiak have toe prove that they're not going to be the next Dan Quinn and the Atlanta Falcons.
Falcon's head coach, Dan Quinn, was fired.
Their GM was also fired.
If you're a Falcons fan, time to turn on some Clemson games when the Big 10 comes back.
Time to turn on so some Ohio State games because Atlanta's in some trouble.
Minnesota, however, at home.
Coming off a tough loss, they decided to go for it on fourth down.
Did it pay off? They got stopped.
Super controversial decision.
Mike Zimmer was getting crap for it on Twitter.
I think the Vikings win this game.
They could be without Dalvin Cook, But I'll tell you guys this.
This is a secret for you.
I think Alexander Madison might be just as good start Alexander Madison this week because I think the Minnesota Vikings are going to roll at home.
Give me three home pics in a row, and we're gonna have a feeling we're gonna have four home pics here as the New England Patriots are going to play host to the Denver Broncos, A Gillette Stadium in Foxboro drew lock back for Denver, most likely Cam Newton back for the Patriots.
Most likely both of those guys out of CO vid 19 slash injured list today.
That's awesome news.
They both beat the cocoa.
They're good to go, and I think the Patriots win this one just because this is a classic Bill Belichick home game against another A f C team.
You know, the the cards or just a line here for the Pats toe win this game.
I think Cam Newton comes back and plays tremendously well, he said he never had a symptom off the coronavirus, so we know he's healthy.
We know Cam Newton is rested, and I think this is just a game where we're going to see the New England Patriots roll all over the Denver Broncos.
Give me four straight picks off home wins.
What are you doing? Melvin Gordon? Do I tough? Look, there we go to New York.
We go to MetLife Stadium, where the Giants host the Washington football team.
Give me Ron Rivera.
Give me riverboat Ron getting his first big dub this week. Danny Dimes.
Those dudes have played well.
It's the running game.
Can the Giants run game? Keep up without, say, Kwan Barkley.
I think the Washington football team is too talented.
That defense is too good.
Possibly chase Young back this week.
Still to be determined.
I think riverboat Ron, who's dealing with cancer, you know, the n f.
I was doing the crucial catch stuff, man.
I'm pulling for riverboat Ron.
I'm pulling for the Washington football team in this one big time.
I think the football team beats the Giants there.
In another home win, let's go to Lincoln Financial Field, where the Philadelphia Eagles play host to the Baltimore Ravens.
This is the first one where I'm going to pick a road team I picked on Lamar in the Open off this show.
I said that he's not an M V P V P form.
That Ravens offense looks beatable.
The blueprint is out there.
You guys heard me say all that stuff, but this is a game, or Lamar watches this podcast for whatever reason and says, No, no, you're wrong.
I'm back in M v P for him.
I think he's gonna roll all over Carson Wentz.
I think that Baltimore Ravens defense with the rookie Patrick Queen at linebacker is too good for Philly to handle.
Give me the Ravens in this one, and that's partially because the A F C North is the best division in football.
In 2020 we head to Carolina, where the Panthers and Matt Rule, who looks like a really good head coach along with his rookie counterpart, Kevin Stefanski.
Here in Cleveland, Matt Rule looks like he has his wits about him.
Host the Chicago Bears.
Nick Foles, Allen Robinson.
They didn't impress me at all on prime time on Thursday Night Football.
You know, they got Brady, and then Brady forgot to score.
You know, he thought it was fourth down when 4000 already happened.
Give me Carolina and this one.
You look up a stat about Teddy Bridgewater, who plays quarterback for the Carolina Panthers.
And there's only a couple dudes at the top of the NFL through 40 starts that have a better win percentage than Teddy Bridgewater.
Teddy Bridgewater is a very good NFL quarterback.
You have guys like Tom Aaron Rodgers, Big Ben.
Other than that, Teddy Bridgewater in Win Percentage is right up there with those dudes like he is that good.
Teddy Bridgewater is just ah, good NFL quarterback, and that's clear cut and dry.
Simple That's all I need to say.
Give me the Panthers in that one too much Teddy.
Too much Mike Davis.
Possibly Christian McCaffrey.
That's to be determined.
You know, with coming off the i r.
There we go to Jacksonville.
Where? Gardner, Minshew Gardner.
I wanna be Baker. Mayfield.
Minshew hosts the Detroit Lions.
Here's a surprise, Patricia.
This could be the game or the Lions Say bye bye Bye bye, Matt.
Give me the Jags in this one, I think.
Menchu, you see good Menchu and you see bad Menchu.
I think we could get good Menchu on Sunday in Jacksonville.
Look out for Charki if he's healthy.
Uh, you know, Cole, all those goofy receivers that they've assembled in Jacksonville, Jacksonville wanted to tank.
It looked like Doug Marrone was on the hot seat.
People were photo shopping, Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars uniforms.
You ask yourself where that talent was on that team.
It looked like Joe Schobert, who left Cleveland, left Cleveland just to go right back into another rebuild.
Listen, man, the Jags aren't that bad.
The Jags are only two years removed from that a F C championship game, and Gardner Minshew wants you to remember that and put some respect on his name, and I don't think they're gonna be back there any time soon.
But I think they do have a franchise quarterback in Gardner. Minshew.
Give me the Jags.
In that one, we head Thio, the beautiful and sunny Miami Florida at Hard Rock Stadium, where the Miami Dolphins host the old Cleveland Browns.
That's alright, folks.
The New York football Jets.
Give me Miami and give me Ryan Fitzpatrick in this game.
If you have any Dolphins players, whether it be my Kosecki, whether it be right, you know Ryan Fitzpatrick.
Whether it be Myles Gaskin, they're running back.
If you have any of those dudes s****om in fantasy, you wanna look for a reason to fire Adam Gates this week? NEW YORK Joe Douglas Look no further than this game that is going to be played in Miami this week because you're going to see the players react to that.
Leave Ian Bell released and that leave Ian Bell being disgruntled.
It's already announced that Sam Donald is out of this game.
Joe Flacco will be starting this game.
You wanna look for the players to react to a guy getting released.
I think they'll do just that.
I don't think these players at all are going to rally behind Adam Gates.
I personally think Adam Gates is a gigantic fraud.
You look what he did in Miami, who is playing? He chased out Jarvis Landry and punished him by sending him to Cleveland to play with the Browns.
Ever since Jarvis Landry got here, he's been an A plus teammate.
He's been a leader.
He's been everything that you want in a football player in your locker room.
You look at Ryan Tannehill, who was Adam gazes quarterback in Miami for all those years.
How we thought Ryan Tannehill was a bum.
We were wondering what the Tennessee Titans were doing.
Picking that guy up.
Ryan Tannehill looks really good right now.
Maybe it's you, Adam Gates.
Maybe it's you that's the bum.
And that's why I'm picking Miami in this game.
Okay, we go to Tampa, where Tam, Tampa Bay and Tom Brady, host Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers.
Other than Brown Steelers, this is my game of the week.
I think this is gonna be a super exciting one.
We know Tom loves playing the legends.
I am enjoying the Aaron Rodgers screw you tour more than anyone else.
You need to find a way to motivate Aaron Rodgers every couple of years.
The Packers did that by by drafting Jordan Love.
I don't know what they were thinking by doing that.
Aaron Rodgers is still that dude.
He's still really good.
They got Davante Adams back this week.
Give me the Packers going into Tampa Bay and beating the greatest quarterback of all time Rogers over Brady in Tampa.
And then we go to San Francisco were what's left of last year's Super Bowl, contending 40 Niners play host to the Los Angeles Rams, who were in the Super Bowl just two years ago in the Battle of California.
I think the Rams got a very good team.
I think they had a really bad season last year.
We saw that, you know, and they got a good coach when he got Sean McVeigh, who's a really young, innovative offensive coach.
He went back and he watched some of those games last year and he was like, Dude, we sucked like we need to make adjustments here, here and here and there doing that.
I definitely think that the that the L A Rams air back into Super Bowl form.
They look really good.
If they're a team that to be on the lookout, that could pick up leave Ian Bell.
I like those young backs that they have their eye. Like Darryl Henderson.
I like Cam Acres.
I like Malcolm Brown.
They got a nice three guy punch for not really having a true lead back, and Sean McVeigh is just crafty with that offense.
Jared Goff was the number one overall pick, and the 40 Niners just banked up.
So give me the Rams in that one on the road, even though it's still in California over the 40 Niners we go to Monday night, where we have back to back Monday Night Football.
That's gonna be a lot of fun because we actually have two very good games to very entertaining games on Monday night.
If you're into betting, Monday night is going to be the night for you as Kansas City is in Buffalo playing the Buffalo Bills who were exposed Just, you know, a couple nights ago on national TV, the bills were going to try to prove to the rest of the world that they're not legit.
That that was a one off, that the Titans came out super motivated because of all the Corona stuff and that the Bills were gonna prove that there's still a really good team.
I think they are.
This game, however, is going to be too much. Patrick Mahomes.
This is a battle of two teams that got embarrassed just a week ago.
The Bills got embarrassed by Tennessee, and the Kansas City Chiefs got embarrassed by the Vegas Raiders.
And really, they almost lost to the New England Patriots without Cam Newton one week prior.
This is the week where everything is Kumbaya.
This is the week that everything reverts back to normalcy.
I think the Chiefs just have too much offense, even though the Bills have one of the best complete rosters in football.
I'm taking the Chiefs on the road in Buffalo because Patty Mahomes is just gonna light up Monday Night Football on national TV.
We get into the actual Monday night game, the second Monday night game in Dallas, where the Arizona Cardinals will play Jerry's Cowboys in Jerry's world.
How about them Cowboys.
Um, God, I feel horrible for Dak Prescott, and I know I'm not the first guy to say this.
I'm not breaking the Internet by saying I feel horrible for him.
I think Dak deserve that gigantic contract that he wanted.
And at this point, I don't think he's getting man, and I hope he gets it elsewhere.
I hope someone outside of Dallas finds value and a guy like Dak Prescott.
I do have the Cardinals winning this game because I think Dallas is defense is really bad.
We saw that in Cleveland firsthand, and secondly, I I just think that the Cardinals offense is really good.
That Monday night game is the easy one for me to pick.
That was the NFL whip, where we correctly picked every game around the National Football League in under 15 minutes.
That was a lot of fun.
My throat is chalked.
Thank you to everybody for hanging out.
What a fantastic our huge thanks to everybody that commented.
That was a whole lot of fun getting toe answer some of your guys questions.
Oh yeah, I forgot one more prediction.
I got the Browns over the Steelers in Rivalry Week this week, 31 to 30 off the right foot off Cody Parky.
We saw the single dunk to seal the win this week, where we get to see a straight straight down the middle.
Cody Parky wins it for the Browns, Browns or beating Steelers.
This is still a rivalry, and we're gonna see that rivalry on Sunday.
Huge thanks to everybody, for watching so much fun even bigger, thanks to dugout mugs.
