I'll never get it back said.
I took a different path.
We'll give them that kind of switching slipping.
That's so hard that my original crack I had to go and clear my head.
Now I know where my visions at the opposite way.
I'm late night talks way.
It's been a long day, but a young man goof around.
I think Booth stay.
Going to be strange, I swear.

We're good, baby. Let's go.
Alright, What's up? Ship heads live from the greatest city in the world.
This is the Yacht Club were sponsored by very low self esteem after a Browns blowout loss.
We're gonna talk about that later.
We haven't been together very much, Zack, but Zach dubs here, uh, gaming content legend on tick tock.
Almost 600,000 followers.
You absolute sa***e.
But anyway, we'll talk about some other things.
But now we're joined by former Auburn Center and current ESPN and SEC network ****yst and co host of the three men, Front 94 5 in Birmingham, Alabama.
Welcome to the program.
Um, first off, I think you might expect this question as I am wearing an auburn hat.
What the hell is going on with bone next.
Ha ha ha! I thought he was.
I thought he was.
I mean, last year, you know, he wanted freshman year on the SEC and or whatever they call it.
And, you know, I had really high hopes for him coming into this season.
I want to hear your thoughts on him.
And if you think he's the guy going forward, Yeah, I think a lot of people are.
And I don't think there's a lot of people that are surprised that a quarterback in goes his offense isn't necessarily taking the next step because it's been a while since that happened.
Cam Newton was the last time a quarterback really progressed across the course of a season.
But for me, when you could talkto Jordan Rodgers on my TV crews, we talked about him a lot.
Greg McElroy and I talked about him a lot of like to get information from quarterbacks because obviously I didn't play it.
They all have different opinions and different things, but for me, when it really comes down to it, Uh huh, I think he has to have a better understanding of the responsibility of the quarterback position.
And there are a lot of other positions in football where you can just go out there and bust your ass and run around, go full speed and hit people and try hard and quarterbacks a totally different deal. Man.
Probably the position in sports that you have to understand all of it like we don't really have point guards and passed in basketball anymore.
Starting pitchers, you only see him every five days.
You know your shortstop only gets the battery three innings.
So the quarterback has to be the guy on every single play you have to know, feel position time on the clock, where the change are.
What has your on what the tendencies of the defense are, had a look off the defender and then, you know, coverage.
And then you throw the ball and then you scramble and then you escape.
And to me, it just it feels like a lot of hero ball.
Ah, lot of backyard ball and eventually that's gonna catch up to you in the SEC.
Will must champion t Rob their defensive coordinator, who I played with it. Auburn.
They were smart and how they put a plan together.
The form basically said, we're gonna make it look like we're bringing eight or nine.
We're only gonna bring three or four sit in the pocket and beat us on the other part two is Bo Nix is hey is finding his own pressure.
And if you're a quarterback, the one thing you wanna avoid his pressure, well, he creates his own pressure because you literally will run into it.
Right tackle, left tackle are handling their business.
When you circle around, that guy leaves the pocket.
All of a sudden, you bring pressure to yourself.
So that's why when I say haven't understanding of of the position in its entirety and it's weird because he was raised by a quarterback.
I mean, his dad wore the same number at the same school with same name on the back of the jersey, played the same position, and you would think some of that stuff would come easy.
My concern is because he was raised in that environment, that there may not be a ton of the room for growth that he absorbs so much over the course of his life that this might be who he is, and I'm not saying that's a bad thing.
It's just like you said.
A lot of people have a much higher expectations From what we've seen so far.
He's not going to kind of help out from his own line, and I think being a little bit of a new system is solving some things down as well.
But it's been tough to watch so far this season.
And the thing that you know kind of summed up the entire bow Nextera for me right now because I really, I really am.
I'm still clinging on for hope was when he had what is the fourth and five final play of the game with nine seconds left.
He doesn't get the first down, he runs for it and then time runs out and I mean, that's completely I mean what you said you nail on the head in terms of just knowing what's going on, being aware of the game clock, being aware of your surroundings and being just situational awareness and it just give me give me a hook shot or something like I mean, give me a Kareem and I mean, just give them something, something throw into the air.
Don't throw it just Yeah, I thought they I, like Dave passed on the broadcast made a great point when he you know he's running out to the sideline.
And instead of just going out of bounds, he tries to jump over a defender.
Which what's your on this again? The the understanding.
What's your best case scenario? By attempting to do that, you run two or three more seconds and said, Maybe you get an extra yard, you rather have the subtracted yard and have the extra 34 seconds right there.
So it's just the the understanding of all of it.
And I think there's a part of it, too, that he's pressing so much that that maybe that forces into sort of lose sight of a lot of the other things that are going on right? So they have, um, they have a they have a commit coming in next year, right? A quarterback commit.
I don't know if he's a four or five star recruit, but they have somebody next year that I think they're forget what his name is.
I follow on Twitter, but that e.
Do you think he's the guy going forward after this? I mean, this season next season.
Do you think he's the guy? I think he can be because the talents there and one of the things that's so frustrating about him is one out of every four throws or so is you see in moving the Seth Williams took the stand against Kentucky that was in the middle of the end zone, not one of the fades.
I mean, he's rolling to his right, and when you see the end zone copy of that, the defenders literally right in front of the receiver and he lets it go where only Seth Williams can go up and get it.
And you're like, Whoa, I mean, that's a big time throw.
He had one against Arkansas, where he's rolling out and just a dark toe, Anthony shorts right on the sideline and literally where Onley he could catch it and make the play and still staying bound.
So he has the ability.
He has the talent.
Uh, you know, the thing that that I would love to see is some calm.
Find your calm on the field and hey plays quarterback like he's a linebacker to a certain extent, and that doesn't work.
Uh, you know, if we're going five lied like I used to do with Mike Vick and Madden and just, like, snap it.
Go and just bring hysteria, then, Yeah, cool.
We could do that.
But find your calm.
I think about it.
Every quarterback in every big moment, like Brady Rodgers, who have Peyton Manning, whatever they might be.
A far was out of control during the snap.
But then he could find his calm in the huddle and at the line of scrimmage and process everything that needed to happen.
I don't see a lot of that with Bo next, and I would like to see him find his calm at certain points of the game, just to be able to reprocess everything that's happening around him.
Oh, yeah, he's definitely made those big time froze.
It's just gotta be way more way more consistent in doing that.
Okay, so let's let's transition.
I know you guys have to talk about Alabama on your radio station, so I won't do too much of that for you because I know you get enough of that.
Um, but the big, Obviously, a big 10 coming back.
Uh, this weekend, obviously we just talked about We're very fortunate on the show that we don't have to talk about reports and things like that as much as we have.
We were like a big 10 podcast for the first, like, 3 to 4 episodes.
What with the Big 10 being back, Um, do you have, like, a top four right now that you like that, you can see go into the college football playoff? I mean, obviously, we need to see, like Ohio State, Penn State, Wisconsin and those in Minnesota and Michigan.
Some of those teams play that could potentially make it to a Big 10 championship would go on.
But do you have? Ah, I mean, do you have a top four? I mean, give us your top four for the college football playoff right now.
Going first off.
I mean, I think the rankings right now are.
I mean, it's like me attempting to do geometry, and I failed math three years in a row in high school, so that doesn't go very well.
I don't think there's a lot of separation between Clemson and Alabama.
There are a few intricate strength that you could sort of pull in, pick and pull apart from, like, I mean, yeah, Clinton might have a slight digit quarterback.
Mac Jones has been amazing.
Alabama's aligns better.
Clemson's D lines playing better ball.
But, I mean, I think they're about that.
Even as far as I'm concerned.
I'm anxious to see Ohio State because I believe they could be that team.
I'm so excited to see why Davis come back and play this year because he's one of my favorite college football players to watch.
Obviously, I mean, imagine if Justin Fields goes from two years ago, the last year again makes another jump.
I mean, he might take over those two quarterbacks we just talked about with Lawrence and Jones is maybe being the best in the nation, so I think I think they'll have the skill.
I will say this about Ohio State and nobody talked about this.
I'm a little worried about what they lost upfront on defense.
There's not a lot of huge names, but guys who played a lot of meaningful football and guys who brought some physical in some nasty on that defensive front are gone, but I don't know if there's another, I think Penn State Outside shot looking in.
I think Minnesota will probably my next team of the Big 10 that they could make some noise.
I think Wisconsin kind of suffers from the same issues that Notre Dame does like they're just not athletic enough.
And I think any time you you get Wisconsin in a one off kind of like Notre Dame against Clemson or Obama or when Oklahoma's rolling, like just athletically, they're not gonna be able to keep up, especially with what football is this year.
I mean, defense is straight optional this year, so that doesn't feed into what Wisconsin does.
But I think I think Penn State and Minnesota sort of your outliers, and it's kind of like Help me Obi won Ohio State.
You're my only hope, like we need you to be the other team like it can't just be two teams.
Let's at least get three and then we can have this massive argument about who should be four because that could be really fun.
I don't really want to argue about two because now we're talking about 20 teams that we're gonna be arguing about if it's one team getting in.
Then we got 234 teams were talking about possibly getting in.
So I actually am hoping that Ohio State is what we think they are once this season begins.
And we could get at least three powers into the college football playoff because we saw we've seen the last few years when you when you sort of just push the other team in Oklahoma was the other team.
Last year, they benefited from Atlanta conference title.
I thought at that time I thought Florida was a better football team than they were, but you couldn't put Florida at that point.
And then we see what happens once they get in and l s two ran through.
So I think Ohio State is that team.
I don't think there's one from the Pac 12.
It would be Oregon.
I don't know if they're gonna have enough of a resume to even prove that they should be there, and then I don't know really what that team is gonna look like, anyway, so yeah, well, all right.
Last question before we get you out here.
Thanks again for the time.
What has it been, like covering? Uh, college football right now, being at the games.
Obviously, you know, you still have that college atmosphere, but it's nowhere near, you know, having hundreds of thousands of people in a stadium doing chance and just the electricity that college football is known for.
What has it been like for you covering it? Uh, 2020? You know, it's it's weird because I got we had Kentucky Tennessee, which was early last week.
So I got home for Alabama and Georgia, and Alabama obviously has had kicking issues for a long time, and I just when they hit that 52 yard will recorded before the half, all I could think about Waas.
What would that stadium be like with 98,000 fans right now, not only playing Georgia that atmosphere, but hitting a 52 yard field goal with all Alabama fans? Just assume they're gonna miss every field goal they try and then, you know, obviously being in the game with Georgia, I mean, that would have been just a completely amazing environment.
It has been weird.
It has been different, but I tell you.
This has been incredible because there were so many **** people that were doubting it.
So many people saying we weren't gonna get it and so many people saying we shouldn't do it and it was irresponsible to do it and we hope we don't do it.
And I tried to stay strong, the entire I mean, I had group text.
That's just the football guys like hardcore football guys that I left.
I literally said, leave the conversation because, oh, they're gonna have to cancel because of this.
This guy got something that they're not gonna be able to go.
And I was like, I can't do it.
I've got to try to stay positive for this entire thing.
So I'm thankful number one to be there.
It's incredible just being in these stadiums.
I don't care if it's 1000 or 20,000.
Whatever it is, it's been amazing.
I was at Memphis.
I was up in aims for an Iowa State game.
I was in a Coastal Carolina game, and I mean, it was incredible.
Auburn had about 17,000.
Tennessee had about 20,000 this past weekend, so Lexington had 15 16,000 It's so much better than we thought it was gonna be, even with 5 10 15,000 because at least you get some reaction.
You get some environment, you could get a little bit of momentum shifts.
But yeah, I mean, it's not.
It's not even close to the same.
I mean, it's the road.
Teams were calling out plays and doing things and it zits.
Totally different, obviously wearing a mask, having to wear a mask.
Social distancing these interviews, You've probably seen the interviews that we do where were 10 ft apart.
The coach has a speaker that my microphone goes to.
He has a mic on the stand.
I mean, it's it's strange times, man.
But you know what? I'm standing on the field, broadcasting live tackle football.
So I have zero complaints about the entire thing.
Yeah, that is awesome.
I was in, uh, my girlfriend.
I went to the Auburn Georgia game last year.
Obviously, we didn't want to get in and get the result we wanted to.
But man, Jordan Harris is just such a fantastic electric stadium.
And just what a what a great atmosphere and can't wait to get that back hopefully, hopefully next year.
But I knew you're right.
I mean, it's just toe have college football around, even have fans in the stadium.
And I think it's just is something amazing.
All right, Well, thank you for joining us again.
That was former Auburn Center current before.
Hold on one second before.
All right, Just hold on one real quick before we before we roll out.
I forgot to grab these before before we got started.
I figured out I e should've booted you.
E should have got rid of you when I got the chance I wore the auburn had for you.
You think you think you know you You have no Oh, yeah.
I'm a Steelers fan.
Lifelong Steelers fan. My dad Pittsburgh.
So lifetime, I got my kids were sitting here we go.
Steelers gets, um, I'll get the three year old singing Here we go in here in a minute.
If you want to do that.
Yeah, it's a great win yesterday.
Great win. Oh, wow.
Really quick, though.
I was actually just asked this on one of my life.
She was earlier.
I think the Steelers Maybe going to the Super Bowl this year.
I'm not even gonna lie, but they are incredibly good, Big man.
Looks like he just lost out years off his life.
And he's like, out for I don't know what's going on.
Steelers look awesome.
Great old line has to stay healthy.
The online states that defense is fierce.
E a F C is gonna be brutal.
You know, we got to get to Kansas City.
It's gonna be tough.
I think if that old line stays healthy, they got a real shot at.
I can't believe you did that out of left field.
Think in Alabama, you know? Yeah. Yeah.
You probably never even been to Pittsburgh.
I could start rolling through the games that I didn't feel up there, but yeah, I haven't been to a Browns game there.
Stephen Steelers play in Cleveland.
I have seen that way.
Well, hey, we're working on here. We'll see.
But thanks so much for joining us again.
Former Auburn Way Current ESPN SCC network ****yst.
The Three Men Front on 94 5, Birmingham, Birmingham, Alabama coal Cuba.
Like Thank you very much.
You guys, you keep bringing this football back, man.
Just keep bringing all the league's back.
Bring them all, but bring every single back.
Buddy, We appreciate your thank you call.
Alright, he's a man. That was hilarious.
He got your ass, though, do you? You're such a fake browns fan.
I can't stand here.
What are you talking about? You're such a bum, dude.
Last week we were talking here about how we were gonna trade like you wanted.
Like we were talking about trade scenarios for Jimmy Garoppolo.
And your bum ass is back on the Garoppolo bandwagon.
Beat the fricking round.
You believe, dude? He looked good, man.
Even though he only had he was 18 to 23 155 yards and three touchdowns.
That's a thing that he did what he needed to dio Baker e just that line.
That Baker Mayfield needs to have every single game.
And maybe the Browns will do something.
Anytime he tried, he throws the ball in the air over 15 yards.
Obviously, kid, I'll have, like, a 40 yard touchdown last night, but he was like 8 10 yard pass anytime Garoppolo flows, throws it 15 yards and more down the field, it's four.
He's four of 23 for, like, 110 yards.
He's not this, like gun slinger quarterback.
I mean, he could probably not when he needs when he needs to, Like, I mean, I've seen to make throws when he needs to make throws like he could do it.
He's just not gonna He's just not gonna do it every play, every game.
He's not gonna go out there and drop like 300 plus yards per game for an entire season.
It's not. It's just not gonna happen.
And the fact that like that right there was a was a great coaching, a great game plant.
The Rams are a great team.
I mean, yes, they they're not the same from what they were.
But there's still a Super Bowl contending team, that's all.
They're four and one in one of the probably toughest divisions in the NFL, and Jimmy G.
Went out there with a busted ass Niners team and got the job done.
I mean, I agree, I know.
I mean, they look on and credit to Kyle Shanahan, E one Jimmy Acropolis Footwork, which they were as a huge emphasis on the broadcast.
It was much better to mingle.
And, you know, it's true.
And Shanahan did a pretty good job playing a Garoppolo strengths.
And that's when they win.
It s not gonna lie.
Last week very down on Jimmy G, I was very done.
I wanted to trade his ass.
I'm great scenarios last week.
Now we're like, Oh, we're just ****ing He came out and he proved himself that I'm like, Okay, maybe he can still get this job done.
That's all I'm saying. Yeah.
I mean, I don't know, ma'am.
It's so funny because it was like the exact opposite reaction last week.
We were like, Yeah, I mean, like, nobody was like, Baker is like an M v p or whatever.
But like, he's like where he's doing enough thio.
Help the team win.
He needs to improve now.
This week, everybody is like his baker.
Mayfield the guy was he playing injured like whatever.
My thing is with Baker, it's not on him.
I mean, you're gonna miss Nick Chubb when he's not playing.
He's the best running back in the NFL.
Arguably, you're gonna miss your right guard wife, the best right guard, the NFL.
But Baker was horrible yesterday, and I don't think he should have even played.
He threw a pick six on his first pass attempt and just I think it just completely destroyed the momentum of the game going from there.
He just was not confident.
He's terrible beyond his first read.
I'm still thinking he's the guy.
He can still improve.
He's going into his third season as a quarterback in the NFL, But at the same time, I'm worried.
I'm worried again.
The boxes four and two were still third place in the division.
That's the best record we've had in quite a long time.
So I'm not worried about the season at all.
Especially once we get.
We have the easiest schedule the NFL going through.
I mean, there's still probably make the playoffs for sure.
I think they'll be a seven seed.
Honestly, I'm still going 11 and five, man.
They're on pace for 11 and five right now, and they have the easiest schedule the NFL do we have.
Do we have anything in the chat anybody saying stuff.
I mean, I will say, man, to be honest with you, I will say I don't believe Idol.
I don't believe that Everyone's roasted my ass.
Oh, Jimmy G, Jimmy G lost to the Cardinals and Dolphins.
Yeah, I understand that.
And after he lost the dolphins, I was very down on Jimmy G.
The Cardinals game.
Jimmy G was hurt.
Grow the before the rams.
Her to e I was down on him.
I'm not gonna lie was the only one that's me.
The only Wednesday had were against the Jets and the Giants.
And now, I mean, the Rams air.
The Rams were good team.
So that credit to them, that's that's a big time win.
But it would still have burst easy teams to No, I know.
The jets and jacket culture Wilk Culture form one.
Are those I'm saying.
What's your foreign? Sorry, I'm like reading chat, but yeah, he got injured during the Cardinals game.
Yeah, so yeah, I understand this.
I was not, you know, very high on him. Baker.
On the other hand, the one thing that I will put in Baker's corner to fend bakers.
The fact that he's learning his third offense.
And in his third season he was like his fourth offense because they fired the coach Hue Jackson.
There's no consistency for the guy.
I mean, he's really like and I don't know.
I just think we'll see what happens.
What? There's e way to roast Stephen A Smith's dumb ass after this podcast because he's like he do.
You mean he said, like he's given up on Baker, which is one thing like that's that.
That's a common take right now.
But then he's saying that the Brown should trade Odell and trade Jarvis like they're saying that they should get out of Cleveland, which is the dumbest ****ing thing because therefore into you don't just just his knowledge and in credibility.
When it comes to football is an absolute joke.
And like the fact that ESPN laid off hundreds of employees and kept that bum ass on the ****ing program just ****es ****ed me off.
I know we had ESPN guy on, so I don't wanna talk too much.
Coal is very nice.
Enough problems that Stephen a Smith at all.
But this is this is a road on TV.
A Smith on ESPN.
I'm just quite shocked that ESPN shows to keep.
But what I thought was really funny dude is I'm on Twitter right after the pick.
You didn't even waste a second to tweet that Baker maybe is not the guy immediately after it immediately after the pick. Six.
He's not, I don't know.
Well, I mean, I know that, you know that.
I don't know that, but e mean, like I said, the one thing that I will will give him is that he's had his.
He's had no consistency, his entire, um, career in the NFL.
I will give him that, but it's like he's very short.
Like you said, he's not good after his first read, constantly scrambling like I just I don't know, man.
I just don't see it like happening, and I just feel like the Browns air in the position tohave.
They have an incredible offense.
They have an incredible defense.
I mean, the defense isn't like amazing.
I think in a couple of years, once it matures, it'll be really, really good.
But like they have the ability to have an amazing team overall, And I think the Onley weak spot on the team is the quarterback spot.
And, like, what are you gonna do? Are you gonna, like, hang on to him now and, like, waste the offense and the defense that you have and not win a ring? Or are you gonna make the changes that I believe it might be necessary to go out there and get it done with? I just don't think he's the guy, man.
I just don't It's just so sad that people have given up on him.
I mean, there was, like, some chart that somebody, our table, somebody had.
Holy cow. We have 10 minutes left in the stream.
What happened? Always aghast.
No, it's It's when you have more than two people on man, that sucks.
Oh, well, it's all good.
We'll just take a break when it's out.
Um, yeah, E Think about this way.
Other look at all the other quarterbacks in the NFL.
Which one of them? How many of them would you take over Baker Right now? Probably zero.
Baker is the number one quarterback.
He's the best quarterback in the NFL.
Do e seriously just stand.
I know what you're e o for your brown stands on Twitter and ****.
I am, Am I **** on Ariana Grande stands.
I'm literally Ariana Grande and listen to E.
Can I give you a serious take, please? Baker.
Mayfield may not be the best quarterback in the NFL, and he's probably not even top 15 right now.
He's lucky to be.
Oh, he's lucky to be top 20.
Yeah, but in terms, But But in terms of his personality, work ethic, swagger, confidence, I think he's the best fit for Cleveland in terms of turning that culture around.
And that's what he's done.
Him and Jarvis Landry just after his confidence, the swagger.
And it brought people.
And that wanted to play for the bronze.
And it's just an absolute culture change because, I mean, they were true. That ****'s contagious.
When you have the negativity, you don't wanna play and you're injured and just you want ****ing.
Baker is a winner, and he's not.
He's not gonna be a bread farm.
He's not gonna be a Drew Brees.
I know they have a simply have similar stats and everything, like a chart I just said within through their first three years.
But I'm telling you, like, and that's why Bernie Kosar was so perfect and he was actually good quarterback.
But he also had the swagger, the confidence, the moxie.
And I think those were things that a town like Cleveland that doesn't have a winner that just hasn't done anything since 1999.
They gravitate around that, and I think that's why people like me are still clinging on the baker because of the glimpses we've seen this year, the glimpses we've seen his rookie year coming into the league.
He's a winner, and he's always done his best under pressure.
And when in bad situations, with a chip on his shoulder right now, when he's under pressure, you know, in situations during the game, he just doesn't know how to play football Like, uh, Cole.
Cuba, like, was talking about how bone ICS like runs into pressure.
And I was about to say, you know, Baker, Mayfield literally does the exact same thing.
Like he goes into pressure and he's terrible staying in the pocket.
He always goes right, even though I mean, he's just afraid to get hit, you could tell he just different and I I'm still clinging on him because he's still growing and I hope he can kind of change and go back to the person that we know he can be and has been.
But, I mean, it's it's it's just hard for me to say we need a quarterback when the team is foreign to and like, I get that we got shot on by the Ravens and Steelers vision Baker.
Though I agree, I agree.
I'm just saying it's hard for a change.
All I'm saying is like I agree.
The only reason why I like the Browns pick when they drafted him is because of the fact that I like his spirit.
His spirit is the best thing about him.
So I agree with Cleveland needs a tough, greedy guy who's gonna go out there and talk ****, get in the faces, get the job done.
But it's like you're getting people to buy into this spirit in this culture.
But what's gonna happen when like you're not winning? Yeah, right.
They were four and one.
They are four and two.
They do have the easiest schedule going forward, but I feel like they make it to the playoffs.
Yeah, but I don't think they're gonna win that game.
So for me, it's like a Chiefs.
They might play the Chiefs right now on those, and that's what it would match up.
We're not gonna win like that, it Z So how do you continue? But for your franchise, getting to the playoffs is for someone that hasn't even been there since 2000 to like, even if they get blown out in the playoffs, the fact that they make it to the playoffs to such an improvement from what we have seen and what we're used to in Cleveland s O.
But I agree. I agree.
I'm not happy with Baker's performance.
E needs to step it up, stacked the box, stop the run and make Baker throw it, and you will literally beat the Browns every single, every single game.
But if you can do your best to take Nick Chubb and Cream Hunt out of the game and force Baker to throw the ball, it's over.
Dude, like he's not gonna be the Who's going to go toe to toe with Mahomes or Roethlisberger or even Carson Wentz with throwing the ball.
It's not gonna happen.
No, but I don't think anybody expected him to be at this point.
But it's easier said than done when you have the best offensive line in the NFL.
And yes, with Wyatt, Teller comes back for the Brown.
They're gonna be way different.
I think he's gonna be back Sunday.
That's the home.
When Nick Chubb comes back and you have him with Kareem Hunt, you just can't.
You just can't stop them.
And I think that's what people are forgetting.
How is that Keller? Why I tell her is out, and Chub isn't there and that's huge.
And then that that forces Baker to have to pass a lot more and for them to rely on him and he just and I agree He's not gonna be the guy right now, and I don't know if you ever be the guy that's supposed to swing at 40 50 times a game like Mahomes and Rogers and will have no, you have to play similar games.
Jimmy G has the like.
He's Biltmore like a quarterback.
He's a little bit less athletic, but they're the way they play the game there, like their arm strength, what they're able to do.
I feel like that's that line that Jimmy had last night.
18 of what? 2300 and 55 yards, three touchdowns.
No pics on most of the passes were either probably like seven yards or shorter.
That's what Baker needs to dio throw the ball in those short those short passes and lead Jarvis and let Odell run after the catch.
That's what they're great at.
Those dudes have made a career, especially Odell running after the catch.
So let him do it.
Put them in the position to make plays.
Let Baker get them the ball in short, short yardage and let them take it from there.
Thio Steelers did such a great job of blood, saying, I just feel like Baker. One.
Didn't recognize her, like didn't like didn't recognize the blood, says report him out.
And they often the line just did a terrible job of blocking, and it seems like every time Baker at the ball, it seems like every time baker of the ball, it was like he was just blindsided by somebody or just didn't have didn't have time to get it off.
So it's just a credit to the Steelers.
A great defense.
Brown's That's right guard.
It sucks, because we I played the great season so far, but have done terribly against two of arguably the best teams in the NFC, let alone our division.
Actually, the Browns air good when everyone is doing their job and when they play team ball.
When you take away either the run or you take away the past, they're easily exposed, like if you like.
If you took away the run game for, like the Chiefs or for the Packers or for the Bucks, or for like the Seahawks, those quarterbacks can just out throw you like they'll just continue to get it done.
You take away the run game for the Browns.
Baker is gonna struggle.
If you take away the pass and force them to consistently run it, they have the talent to get it done.
But are they gonna make those big plays? I don't know.
We'll see angry.
All right, I think it's a good time to take a break.
We'll hop back on, like, five minutes or so.
But this is the yacht club with Syria.
Exact house were sponsored by chronicle, chronic depression and just absolutely stressed about that.
Who was a Browns fan one time, But apparently, Jimmy, you just flop back and forth.
You flop back and forth whoever is doing good.
I don't Yes, you dio No, I don't.
You wanted? Yeah, yeah, We owe me all the way.

I found a switch flipping that's so hard that my original crack I had to go and clear my head.

Bribes are making a fly's last My time one shot love and it's a one shot tonight Someday my life taking my life, I've given up.
I think Cleveland should give up.
I think the Brown should give up.
I think the city should give Enough is enough.
You wouldn't be the perfect person to ask this question to and try to give a quick answer.
I know it's hard for you, but try, um, the word.
The definition of progressive is one.
The definition of progressive progressive going forward Going forward isn't that doesn't make me feel have about eight commercials with progressive.
I mean, I think I think I think I think I'm right about that.
I think about eight.
I know that he had more commercials with progressive than he did wins last year, and now here we are.
This year, everybody's making a big deal because they come into the game against the Steelers, four and one.
I said it wasn't because of him.
They were running the football, they were playing defense effectively and basically Kevin Stefanski was doing a great great job of taking the ball pretty much out of Baker Mayfield.
And the more he threw, the more ineffective he was.
And Lord Lawyer, Help way! Go, go to the part where he says Jarvis and Odell need to get traded like they needed to request straight.
I don't know where that part is. To be honest with you.
It's like a minute down the line.
All right, Lord, help him, he said, Dude ****s.
Do you know what Help **** e **** Stephen.
I do, ***** the I just his knowledge of football, he said.
Dwayne Haskins was more of a runner than a thrower.
Dwayne Haskins averages 1.
5 yards per run.
That dude knows nothing about football.
He's just a talking head.
And that's why ****ing first take, that's my first take is on Lee on in airports, in restaurants, and it's not a mute.
Nobody listens to first taken handed.
Max Kellerman ****ing bums.
Molly Caramel is the best person on there, and I hate Molly.
Karen, she's still on mute.
I like that ****ing mute dude.
What do you What do you see? First take like when I watch.
First take, which I don't.
The only time I watch is when I'm changing the channel like Oh, first takes on a guy watch something else.
I watched a show.
That's why I watch actual sports talk with ****ing substance instead of saying that is LeBron the Goat.
LeBron, not the goat and overreacting to this guy needs to get trading.
Odell doesn't need to be in Cleveland because it's all hot.
It's a first market ****ing.
It's really called first take because it's all hot takes that no one's ever said before.
But honestly, I stopped watching First take when Skip left.
I watch undisputed now.
Oh my God, do I could never handle e like Shannon Sharpe.
Do you know why I watch it? Shannon Sharpe makes the show.
Baker's trash question mark casualties.
What do you think? How do you tell May? Who said that shot? He said.
Baker's He said, Baker is trash.
Which Mark? Okay, we'll see.
I mean, hey, I'm more.
Yeah, he's not the guy.
That's what I thought. Casualties.
Think of your comment.
Honestly, though I'm not gonna lie.
I don't think he's a guy, but I mean, I'm willing Thio see the way he looks throughout learning this offense.
Clearly, he doesn't know the offense.
He clearly doesn't case.
Keenum knows the offense better than him.
You see him ****ing suck.
Played under Kevin Stefanski for how many years I and he sucked.
He sucked yesterday.
Hey, took the Vikings toe.
Dude, they want game came in yesterday.
He won a playoff game.
That's all that matters.
Way needed to make it to the place that matters.
He won a playoff game.
I am, I am, I am.
I'm a case Keenum fan, and I hope he does well on the bench helping wearing the highlighted hat, doing the play.
Call things and making sure Baker is doing his job in the game because his team should not be playing for the Cleveland Browns unless Baker Mayfield throws five interceptions or does what he does better stats and Brett Farve and Drew Brees after their first three years.
It doesn't matter.
What does it mean? It doesn't matter? What does that mean? Matter why? Why, why does it doesn't matter, because I I just I just feel it, dude, I just feel it.
Yeah, I don't know.
He doesn't know Tony ball.
He can't see over the line. That's what I'm saying.
I need a year system.
He definitely needs more time under Kevin Stefanski.
I 100% agree with that.
Drew Brees being a short Drew Brees being a short quarterback and being AH Hall of Fame quarterback, and that good is rare.
It just doesn't happen.
All I'm saying is when we want to break.
You said you would rather take Jared Goff. Overbake.
Would take Jared golf over Baker.
That's what I thought you said.
So I thought you said 100% I would take Derek Carr over him.
I would take Josh Allen over him.
I would take ****ing Ryan Fitzpatrick falling out with the Dolphins right now over Baker Mayfield.
You would take Ryan Fitzpatrick over calling out with the Dolphins, bro.
Give it one more week and Brian Fitzpatrick is bride.
Take Matt Ryan, a one in six Falcons over him.
Browns were pouring, too, and I realize that's not because e know what it does.
It definitely does.
Baker has been playing well.
He hasn't been playing great.
He's been playing good enough until yesterday, which was definitely his worst outing in his three years in the NFL.
I would take Ryan Tannehill.
He played injured.
I would take over 20 people now over Baker.
But his moxie, his swagger is his ****ing confidence.
I would not take mince you over Baker, though.
No, I wouldn't. Either way.
Yeah, definitely not.
Um, I would not take Sam Donald over him.
I would not take.
I would take Joe Burrow.
Oh, my God, I do.
You're not wrong.
I would take Joe Burrow. I know.
Look, I'm not saying that Baker is like, amazing.
I just give up on the guy.
I'm just I can't give up on his leadership.
Yeah, I get it, but huge.
But, I mean, he could be the best, you know, he could be the best leader he wants, and oh, that was still taking his shoes off early, bro.
That's not even a big deal that that's not that's not.
But that's not a big deal.
That's not that's not a big deal.
Why, why? He's not going back in the game.
He's taking his shoes off.
So what? That's such a ****ing non.
It comes down to being like a team guy.
You know, you all keep your uniforms on until you get to the locker room.
He just took the shoes.
Who's off? That's so what do you have? Golf snob.
What the **** was that? What? What are you going to etiquette Mr Zach dubs.
What's up with you? ****ing shooters? What do you in tow etiquette? What the hell? What are you talking about saying the last thing we need to worry about right now.
And I'm a I'm a huge Odell fan.
He's my favorite player in the ****ing league.
Dude, I haven't Odell Jersey at home.
I love Odell, but I agree from the From the standpoint of that, it looks like he's better than everyone else sort of thing.
It's It's like an ego thing.
He's like, you have to go back.
E agree that LeBron walks off in the NBA Finals game to Game three.
Whatever they lose to the heat walks off with seconds left.
That was ****ty, Tom.
Tom Brady, for the second time in a row, not shaking Nick Foles his hands after he got rightfully beat is ****ty as well Alright, alright.
Alright then That's fine.
You can have that with that.
All right, That's fine.
You can have it.
I don't think that the shoes thing is as big of a deal, but I see where people are come from.
It was just his shoes.
He wasn't going back out there.
I don't know, man.
It just seems like it's just weird, man, because in this town, he just keeps doing **** like that.
But he is Odell.
That's just who he is gonna be is a lot of passion.
He's just gonna do **** like that in this town.
When you win, it's like we're going on in the **** Super Bowl when you lose, It's your ****ing shoes.
The quarterbacks too short.
You guys just gotta trade everybody way.
A making a change, a quarterback case Keenum isn't gonna isn't gonna change anything.
Isn't it? Change? People want to trade for Jameis Winston way guy that has interception problems and we're gonna have a guy we're gonna bring in a guy that had 30 interceptions last season.
We're really we're really gonna do that Tased him is not going to like make or break the team.
He's not gonna come in and win all these games.
All I said was that he knows the offense better than Baker, in my opinion, because he's playing.
How do you know? Because he played underneath Stefanski in Minnesota.
I understand it could be it's a different offense because different personnel.
I mean, it's gonna be a It's a better office, you know? Yesterday, same time on the same schemes. Dude.
Sounds like Zack would take Haskins over Mayfield.
No, I would not.
God, what backups would you take? Marry Yoda, Winston or Torbinski? Are you saying in Larry? Are you saying in place of Baker? Probably Baker is the weak link on this team.
Reagan says this is what you want to go.
Oh, so so, sir Yachts the goat because he's he can't let because he can't let go.
No, Baker is the weak link right now.
Dude, I'm not saying he isn't.
He's playing like dog **** and he needs to play better.
I'm just saying that I'm not giving up on him and I think he's going to turn it around.
I think I don't I don't know if he should play Sunday against the Bengals.
I think he's playing injured.
He plays like he looked like he did not want to take a hit, and every time he did, he was Winston because of his bruised him right out there.
Playing slightly hurt and making place for his team is what's gonna get that team to buy in.
That's what I'm saying, dude, he balls his balls, He has moxie and that's what we need.
I didn't want to play yesterday at all. E.
I don't think you should have played it all play a place now.
But the fact that he did do with Bruce ****ing ribs, that dude is cold.
He just a badass and like we need that.
We don't need people playing injured.
I mean, like, you know, don't wanna play because, like, you know, we'll just like meet problems.
He's a guy as a team guy.
He's gonna put everything on the field.
He said he's not a what's.
His mom didn't raise any was that being said.
I don't think he should have played, but that is why he is perfect for Cleveland because Cleveland needs a culture change and he is the guy to bring it to them.
Hey, needs to play better than he's been sucking.
He needs to play better.
Arguably his worst game, as the Cleveland Brown was yesterday, and he could only go up from here, and I'm hoping that he turns it around.
That's why I'm not giving up on his healthy, though.
This is my thing.
Even when he's healthy, he's not great at throwing the ball.
Even he's healthy, like he's the kind of guy who's going to give you games here and there, where he's going toe look like he should be signed to a $300 million contract and be a franchise guy.
But then he's gonna show you that he should be a backup quarterback.
I mean, I I agreed and you see them saying No, I know exactly, I just I'm not giving up on the guy yet He you were coach three years because all these often he's still growing.
He's still growing and like, let's pump the brakes on a foreign to team, making changes and everything like that.
I understand if we're one and 5 to 4.
Maybe I don't agree with making changes like I don't agree toe like put Kingdom out there or to trade Baker or anything like that.
Play this out for the rest of the season.
I mean, let the guy mature within the offense, but in my opinion, I just don't think.
I just think he's going to just be an average quarterback.
And when you're the Cleveland Browns and you've lost for so many seasons and have all this bad luck and never won a Super Bowl and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah and like you have all this pressure toe win in this city for these fans and in this franchise and you have the team that you have like Dude, look at the team that we have in the offense that we have in the defense that we have and will have it in the next couple of years.
You take any of these top 10 quarterbacks Watson, Dak Prescott, Jared Goff, Derek Carr, Carson Wentz, any of these guys, Josh Allen and put him on the Browns.
Dude, they person lost.
Whoa, Carson Wentz is not a top corner, but I'm saying Pump the brakes there.
He could he boy.
I would take Carson Wentz over Baker. Mayfield. That's all I'm saying.
What? Well, the Browns did, so there's no choice.
I mean, they can't us, I think is Baker is is sadly, he's two different quarterbacks.
I mean, e like, dude, if you could just, like, cut like the legs straight up from, like, the foot to the knee of all the like offensive lineman, Baker would be the best quarterback in the league.
What does that even cut the legs off and just make them all shorter? Oh, my God.
Wen's would look better than Baker in this offense. That's what I'm saying.
I'm telling you right now, when we get the weapons we have, Baker cannot throw the ball.
Who can throw the ball? Carson Wentz can throw the hell out of the better.
Hey doing? He's not M V p numbers, but he's getting other than yesterday.
Nobody is complaining about Baker.
Maybe like oh, like you know, Baker like, needs to improve.
And I was definitely saying that, like, we're not gonna be ah, good football team going forward, Baker and step up.
So this and that's why people are concerned.
Rightfully so. I'm concerned.
Before yesterday, nobody was saying that Baker isn't the guy or whatever, so I think it's in terms of what I am very worried about is that one Baker.
Mayfield cannot do anything passes first read.
And second, when he doesn't face pressure, he's a pretty darn good quarterback.
When you blitz against him, all you have to dio is blitz on him from the left.
He'll go out to the right side of the pocket, even if you don't have to put pressure on him. He just wants.
He just doesn't sit in the **** pocket.
And then your former working to scramble and make a play from there under pressure when he is under pressure, he is a very below average quarterback, so it is not.
So what is the quarterback teams are going to do against him? Dude, I mean, I I read an article by Jake Bernstein a, uh you know, he does all this tape for the Browns for the OPR.
He said that the Steelers laid out the perfect blueprint on how to shut down Baker Mayfield how to shut down the Browns, and that's what scares me the most.
However, there is a thing in the NFL in life called adjustments, and Stefanski is a very good coach, and he's very good at making in game adjustments.
Siri's adjustment and post game adjustment did everything he could get.
A better what I said.
He did everything he could to avoid Baker throwing the ball too much.
It's hard when you know you're right guard, then, like they do when you're exactly Oh, chump, chump, chump makes a case for M V P.
You know he's not gonna get it this year, Exactly a game.
But I'm just saying he's like Is the heartbeat of this offense like this? Like this team? He's the number one guy.
It I think it lives or and it dives by him.
I mean, do cream.
Hunt is a top 10 running back of the NFL.
Like statistically, he is a top 10 running back and, you know, and like with him out with him out, shout about it just shows how important he is.
Like even if you have a top 10 running back.
Chubb is the best natural, running down the field, running back in the NFL and, you know, maybe Derek.
I mean, maybe him and Derrick Henry and maybe Dalvin Cook, and that's it.
In terms of running down the field and getting you yards and without Nick Chubb is a lot harder for the Browns to be successful in offense, And it requires Baker made people to not be doing these 18 to 23 past the Times a game like Jimmy Garoppolo on him should be doing in order to be successful.
Yesto pass him or he's gonna be under more pressure because they know they're not gonna run as much when you have cream on on the sideline and that's just is going to slow down the Browns, and that's why I'm not as worried.
I'm not. I mean, pumping the brakes.
I'm not saying Super Bowl contention right now, but I'm not as worried as other people are.
With the foreign to Brown's team, I think Baker Mayfield could make some adjustments.
He's never going to be the Air Rogers M v P SLA MVP, but we don't need him to be with the towel on offense.
What I'm saying, like, play to his strengths, having throw short balls, easy throws open windows and let him do his thing.
And I think the Browns will be ultra successful and he could remain the quarterback.
But when you just say ****es me off, man, it ****es me off.
When people are just like after one week, it's like, Man, we could really do some things.
The next week you lose.
It's like, Oh, we're ****ed.
Get rid of everybody.
Trade everybody. Let's listen to a piece of ****.
Stephen A. Smith.
****ing dumb ass opinion like you **** Stephen A. Smith.
Sorry, I'm gonna roast his ass so hard after this.
I'm so excited e was gonna do Colin Coward, and then somebody sent me Stephen a Smith club.
I'm like, No, never mind.
I'm a new Stephen A Smith.
I'm not too worried about the Browns.
Do you think your prediction.
We said you said 1st.
How do you do You agree with the statement? When is the team lose as a team? Yeah.
So how did this shoes apply to that? How did this shoes Odell shoes while the game was over? Wasn't it waas I mean, was it was over.
I mean by I mean yeah, but there was still e game.
All right, what do you still fixed sand? Ordell's **** shoes.
So what are you trying to say? Wanted to know what your what your opinion on when is the team loses the team? Waas.
I just don't think taking your shoes off in the silent when you know you're not going back in in the fourth quarter of a blowout football game is a giant deal.
I think I mean, sure, you could read into it.
And maybe it's like, Odell, don't do that.
But in terms of other things that we should be concerned about, I think the last thing I am worried about is Odell shoes.
Is that the first thing you're worried about? Are you worried about Baker more? I'm worried about Baker more.
I don't know, man.
I just don't I don't know.
I just think e don't know.
I just don't think of 100%.
Looks the greatest and it doesn't knows this.
He knows this ****.
The camera's always on him. Literally.
There is a ****ing camera in every single stadium for every single game that is labeled with silver tape and black Sharpie on it.
He was in your eyes, his own camera.
Because that dude is on the everybody sees everything and he knows this.
And he continues to do **** toe, make his ****ing teammates answer questions and have **** start on social media like I love the dude, but he's ****ing stupid at the same.
Nobody is. Not at the same time. Dude.
On the other hand, he's gonna be himself, And he's not gonna cater that.
Anybody in the media, he's not gonna pay attention to that ****.
And by you saying like, he can't be doing, you know, certain things.
It's just he's gonna like.
He is a person with a lot of raw emotion.
He's gonna have a lot of emotion on the field when they're losing 30 toe ****ing seven against the divisional rival.
And nobody showed up.
Yeah, he's getting his quarterback.
Didn't show up and get him the ball.
Yeah, he's gonna be ****ed.
Yeah, Maybe he took his shoes off early. Maybe he was.
So when you get something sitting on the bench, taking your shoes off early.
Why don't you keep your helmet on, stand on the sidelines and be there for your team? Everybody has their helmet off on the sidelines.
But I'm saying, like, mhm I get the shooting, bro.
I just lead by example is the best talent on this team.
You should lead by example.
Im e everything.
Everything he does, he's going to get over scrutinize.
But e, I don't care about some chick taking a **** on his chest.
Okay, well, I'm talking about, like, this specific thing, like as a NFL player on the field, on the sideline, like your team is getting blown out and you're just kind of like **** it.
I'm just sit here, take my take my shoes off.
You guys go finish the ****ing game and I'm just gonna sit there like Well, uh, whatever.
Like you should even if everyone has their helmet off.
Put your ****ing helmet on.
Just in case anything happens and lead by example that you're not gonna look defeated and that you're cashing out early and so on and so forth.
Trust me, I'm a big Odell fan.
I've defended this man throughout the years when everyone told me, like, How could you like Odell? He's this.
But this one specifically, I just don't think it looks good personally.
Personally, I agree.
I don't think I look.
Everything you said is 100% incredible. 100% true.
It's a bad look.
A bad look is you know the person is gonna get the most other than Baker Mayfield the most spotlight.
I'm in the Cleveland Browns.
I just don't think it's the number one thing I'm worrying about.
What, do it on Lee.
I agree with that.
Listen this, though.
If the Browns, it's only because they lost.
If the Browns were up 38 to 7, he was not playing the rest of the game and he took his shoes off. Nobody would give a ****.
The fact that matter is we lost the game against divisional opponent.
It wasn't even close the entire game.
For 60 minutes we were down.
You could have just convinced yourself that we would have lost the shoes thing to me is not a big deal.
It's losing to a divisional opponent and not winning in Pittsburgh since 2000 and three.
That is what I'm worried about.
And I think any time you win, it cures everything.
Nobody's gonna remember the ****ing shoe thing.
We beat Cincinnati E.
I agree with that.
I agree with that.
But, you know, being Odell, you know, this **** gets blown out of proportion and gets pushed.
All the media outlets, that's all anyone wants to talk about.
Your teammates have to answer questions and they have to get distracted about your ****ing cleats when, like, for what reason? Like, you know, this is how the media treats you him continuously doing it, expecting a different result is not gonna fix it.
