all right. I think we're live guys.
Get some water, start off every video.
But anyway, you guys, what's going on? It's your boy, Brad, back at it again with another broadcast.
Now, today we will be starting a new series on SportsCastr on my channel, which will be off season.
Wednesday's now I won't put this in the title because it's going to be lame.
All have this video and future offseason when they've offseason Wednesday's videos under the hashtag offseason Wednesdays.
Make sure you spell Wednesday's right, of course, where you won't see it.
Ah, but with that being said, this will be our first video of future videos like this, where we will be previewing certain N b A teams off seasons with trades.
Now I'm going to do this for the teams that you know, could really use a great offseason.
Not going to do this for teams like the Rackers or the Lakers or whoever else, right? I'm not going to do it for teams that are going to be contenders, no matter what they do in the next offseason.
I'm going to do this for teams such as the Wizards, the Hornets.
Maybe like I'm going to do this for teams that aren't, you know, championship contenders right now.
So just keep that in mind whenever you're watching these videos.
But with that being said, the main topics will be discussing in this video is we'll be looking at the Washington Wizards coaching slash front office.
Situation is the front office stable is a good for the players and isn't good for, you know, the actual company and franchise itself will be discussing who they should select with their 2020 nb a draft pick that will be in the lottery.
Then we'll talk about some relevant free agents to re sign on the team that either have a player option or that have a team option.
And then we'll also talk about relevant free agents to try and sign.
And we do have one big trade in here as well that will and crew that will include Bradley Beal to make sure you guys stay for that.
So with that being said, let's go ahead and start this video off.
So, to say the least, this past season for Washington Wizards fans has been very, very unfulfilling.
The team was on Lee able to win one game of the past eight total playing games in the bubble.
And that was out of every team that was invited to the Orlando bubble.
And sometimes it seems like this team can't ever get a break.
The good news for Wizards fans and the franchise is there's nowhere to go but up.
John Wall is expected towards her next season after missing all of last season with the tourney.
Keeley's Bradley Beal had a career year and just absolutely blossomed into You Should have been an All Star, averaging 30.
5 points per game.
And finally, some of Washington's young bright pieces in the front court of all a za well, well, awesome this year, mostly in the name of Troy Brown Jr Davis protons and Ruby Hatch Amora.
So, like I said, we will be talking about all the main components about this offseason.
But this was one of the easier ones for me to make.
Um, you know, I looked at this team, got $15 million in cap room to sign a flyer in free agency, don't have a lot of team or player options.
You got a good draft pick, even with being invited to to the Orlando bubble.
So really, it's not.
It's not like the situation for Wizards fan is actually terrible.
Eso you know, I'm really, really liking their situation.
But let's go ahead and begin begin saying that their coaching slash for an office situation is nothing like the Knicks, As you hopefully know is a basketball fan.
The Knicks, for an office, hasn't been good since 18 35.
So when I say that the Washington Wizards for an office has been the opposite of that, it's a good thing.
Uh, obviously, the coach is not the problem in D. C.
He's a well proven coach.
He's he's a coach that's well liked by its players, and he's just a good coach.
I mean, sure, he's coached some bad teams, so that doesn't make him a bad coach.
And you can't judge a coach by its record because sometimes the situation that coaches thrown into in their first or second year, it's not always fair.
So you have to keep that in mind.
And obviously, that's been Scott Brooks.
Basic whole career with the Washington Wizards and some with the O K C Thunder.
So you really have to keep that in mind when you're ****yzing the coaching situation.
But the coaching situation is not the problem.
The front office is a problem for D.
Now, unfortunately, some news has come out that Bradley Beal has expressed lots of discomfort with the Washington's with Washington's front office in recent moves.
They've made whether, well, that was a draft pick, whether that was signing, whether that was even benching a player, we're starting them in a game.
So Bradley Beal has not been very happy with that.
So obviously, this would lead anyone to think that Bill wants to play for a championship contender rather than the revolting Wizards, especially when the Rebuild will not be complete for another, maybe 2 to 3 years.
So four teams that have been speculated as potential trade partners with the Wizards and getting Bradley Beal would be the Denver Nuggets, the Los Angeles Lakers, the Philadelphia 76 years and the Brooklyn Nets.
Now there's one thing that comes to mind whenever I say this.
Four teams, you know could possibly make a trade package for Bill, and there's one team that I think rises above the rest, and that's got to be the Denver Nuggets.
Obviously, the Denver Nuggets have been a top contender in the West for the past two seasons.
Now and then, just need one more star, even a possible superstar, to complement Nicola Yokich and Jamal Murray.
So a win win trade that I could see happening for both teams would be the wizard, sending Denver Bradley Beal in the Wizards 20 22nd round pick in exchange for Michael Porter Jr.
Gary Harris and the Nuggets 20 21st round pick.
So just a recap.
If you miss any of that, the Nuggets were getting Bradley Beal and the Wizards 20 22nd round pick, and the Wizards were getting Michael Porter Jr.
Gary Harris and the Nuggets 20 21st round thing.
So for the Nuggets side of the deal, this would create a great young core of talented stars and talented young guys to I mean, Bradley be able to be the oldest guy on the team.
But he hasn't even cracked his thirties yet, which is a great thing for Nuggets fans.
So you obvious obviously have a core that would be fulfilled with Bradley Beal, Yokich, Murray, Bull Bowl and whoever else you want to say.
Mason Plumlee, I kiss You could also go with Monte Morris, so the Nuggets would obviously have a very, very young core and Bradley Beal would have to be the leader of this team.
And that possibly is enough star power overall in their core, just to get the Nuggets over the Lakers and the Clippers in the playoffs.
As for the Wizards, they bring in another young, solid free in D Wing importer Jr.
Who's been nothing short of spectacular in the bubble.
And P J has averaged 19.
2 points per game in the eight regular season seeding games in the bubble and was a huge reason why Denver was able to clinch third the third scene despite Murray Harris and Will Barton all missing time that injury.
Speaking of Harris, he will provide plenty off three point shooting gaps either in the starting lineup.
We're off the bench, both of which the Wizards have lacked recently and just if wrote in, the Wizards will also have a first round pick.
The work with and the talent isn't guaranteed on that.
That could be an easy flop of a pick could be an Anthony Bennett type craft take, and it just blows up in your face.
But we've seen first round picks, and the Wizards have recently head on Kelly, you Bray, Bradley Beal, the most recent one.
John Wall and possibly Ruby Hatch.
So, overall, I think that this trade would be great for both teams to attempt.
And the Nuggets.
They're also getting back the Wizards high second round pick.
You can trade that for a proven veteran.
We're drafting, Young guy.
That could help, you know, just make your potent.
You just make your potent core even more potent.
So, overall, I think that this Traber work will of teams.
And if you didn't hear the trade ideal already, it would be the Nuggets and the Wizards and the Nuggets getting Bradley, Beal and the Wizards 20 22nd round pick, with the Wizards receiving Michael Porter Jr.
Gary Harris and the Denver Nuggets 20 21st round pick.
So, overall, I think it's a good trade.
You can agree or disagree of May, but I think that that's the best trade that the Wizards could get from that and that concludes our coaching in front off the situation.
So secondly, we will go into the N B.
A draft more well known as the N B, a draft lottery where the Wizards will be picking this year.
So as all the deaths is how, like, gosh, as all the dust has been settled from the regular season coming to an end, Washington has the seventh best odds toe land in number one, butter slated toe landed knife so they're still in the top 10 day of they've they have a 50.
4% chance toe land, the ninth pick so more, more often than not, If you were the simulate the draft lottery, they get the ninth pick.
So if Washington does land at the ninth pick, I think they should first trade out of the pick if they can.
And if they can't, then you'll just have to go with what's about best available now with the Wizards.
They do have a couple of needs on their team, and the main needs that they have on their team is they need a great big man.
They're good in their backcourt.
I mean, they could use a solid backcourt threat, but you consigned in free agency.
Or pick up a second round draft pick later in the draft and select one of those guys.
But they need a big man, and the big man that I have the Wizards getting is on Yucca Con Wu, the center out of USC.
So a Congo is the second best center in the draft behind you, James behind James Wiseman.
And he brings rim protection and 20 points per game in college to D.
A condom may not have ideal size for a center at 69 £245 but that won't matter because of multiple teams going small ball these days.
Who can defend every position? One for five, which is ideal versatility for centers. Thes days.
We would be a great fit alongside Davis Protons and Fray Brown Jr in the front court.
Overall, it is a long shot that Akon grew Fallston ninth.
I mean, something would have to happen at the combine or he starts taking weed and they get footage of that.
Something crazy would have to happen for a Congo toe fall to ninth.
He's just too talented of a center.
But I could definitely happen even without those big long shots of, you know, just weird stuff going on.
If the teams ahead of them to start drafting guards like R.
Hampton, Nikki, Oh, Manion, whoever else then ah, Kong, when they fall to the Wizards at Knife Waters have to see.
But overall, I think that a come would be a great fit for the Wizards if they could possibly get their hands on.
So that concludes the draft pick part of this video, where we will be talking about relevant free agents to re sign, not to sign, but to re sign.
So these are players that are currently on the roster, that we'll need a new contract this year.
So Washington did luck out in this part of free agency as they have zero qualifying offers and only one team option in that team option is drone Robinson.
So obviously, I think this should decline Hiss.
Robinson was only able to muster 5.
1 points per game and 2.
1 rebounds per game this season off the bench, and picking up his option would Onley lower the amount that the Wizards have to spend on a better guard in free agency.
So it's It's kind of a waste of money, in a sense, because you can get a better player for possibly cheap.
I mean, taking up your player ops or picking up your team option is not expensive.
Where what I just say, taking up your team option or your player option is a lot more expensive than you think.
You can look at Andre Drummond.
He opted into his option.
You got $29 million.
I mean, and Jerome Robinson isn't going to get that much, but he will get around 9 $10 million when you could spend that on a better guard in free agency.
So I think the Wizard should be smart about that in decline.
His now Washington will have to re sign Davis batons as well.
And as we all know, Darvish Protons has been having a heck of the season this year, 15.
4 points per game and 4.
5 rebounds per game for the Wizards this year on a terrible team around him, and I think they should resign him.
He's played a lot bigger of a role than expected this year.
He's really up this three point percentage from his time with the Spurs and 2017 to this time.
Now the only reason that I could see it would be good.
Letting batons walk is if another team comes in and offers 12 of the $14 million for batons to switch teams because Washington can't pay that much to keep protons.
So obviously, as much as Washington would love to keep protons, they have to have realistic expectations off if they can't keep her tones financially.
And if you be a good fit alongside Ah Kong Lou, if they were to draft him in this scenario, so there.
You know, overall in this part of free agency Jerome Robinson, you decline.
You accept office protons and then everything else.
You're good to go now with one of the most exciting parts about this video.
Relevant free agents to sign now.
Washington Like I've said many times in this video, they do not have a lot of money to spend for a new player to join the team this offseason.
So this, even with that being said this offseason, will be very important for Washington's roster.
The wizard needs, um, point guard and shooting our depth coming off the bench as well as a player that can run the offense while the starters set.
That can either be a point guard shooting guard, a center power forward, even a small forward.
They can get the offense up and running.
Kind of like how Chris Paul doesn't in O k C or how Kevin Durant will do it in Brooklyn.
Just get the offense going and to get everybody something that do while they're on the floor.
But I have to relevant free agents that the Wizards should have their eyes on the try and sign this year.
First one has got to be Joe Harris.
Um, he's going to be on everybody's wish list this offseason and rightfully, said Jared Joe Harris is one of the best three point shooters in the game.
The former free point champion was able to hit 42.
4% of the screen point attempts this season.
Harris isn't a defense of specialists by any means, but Harris would fit nicely off the bench, providing some well needed offense.
He's one of those players that can learn how to run the offense, and I mean, if he's coming off the bench, he's going to get you quite a good amount of points.
And when I say he's not a defensive specialist, that doesn't mean he's bad at defense, either.
I mean, if I think he's a very solid defender, you don't have to worry about him being good at offense and sucking on defense.
You don't have to worry about that.
I think you should be very good this year.
The only problem is, is Brooklyn's GM Sean Works, has already come out multiple times and said that they their top priority, This free agency is to re sign Joe Harris, and I completely agree with that.
I would have said the same exact thing if I was Marks.
So it's a long shot for Washington.
Even get the chance to offer Joe Harris a money.
Plus, I'm sure he not He wouldn't accept nine the $10 million.
I mean, I think he's I think, that he thinks that he's worth more than 9 to $10 million year.
But we'll have to see.
I mean, it's possible.
What if they do get the chance? Joe Harris would be awesome for the team.
My second player is Fred Van Fleet, a point guard slash shooting guard for the Toronto Raptors, and this is basically saying the same thing as Joe Harris.
Getting then Fleet on the team would be awesome.
But it's quite unlikely that it faithfully even will even leave Toronto this offseason, especially when Toronto looks poised to make another N B A Finals run.
If Washington was able to get Van Fleet on the team, this would give D C a good 12 punch in the backcourt with John Wall and then Fleet, assuming that the Nuggets and the Wizards except that trade we talked about earlier in the video again, it's very unlikely that this what happened.
But Van Fleet is someone to keep an eye on in Washington.
So relevant free agents to keep an eye on Joe Harris.
Fred Van Fleet, with that being said, that will wrap up today's video thanking us So much for watching is always and I'll give you guys a quick recap of all the topics that we discussed in this video, and these will be the topics that you'll see in future videos.
You know regarding different teams like the Hornets, the necks, um, the Bulls.
You know, all these teams, you will see the same exact topics that will talk about.
And those topics will be discussing the coaching slashed front off the situation.
Wouldn't be discussing their draft pick if they have one.
And if they have multiple draft picks, we'll talk about all of those.
We'll talk about relevant free agents to re sign whether that's a team option.
Ah, player option or just somebody to re sign.
That's having an expiring contract, relevant free agents to sign these players that left a different team and are testing the waters of free agency.
So with that being said, thank you guys so much for watching this always.
I hope you guys enjoyed.
Make sure they keep God number one guys and peace out kitchen guys in the next broadcast.
