Welcome to Matt and Sam Animal.
Recap show as many guys My, um, Matt Skara, USN bicoastal at Sam Daring underscore us and and we have our We have special guests at James Trip brought into 8 to 4.
During joining with us today, we'll be discussing that would be ****ing years and Atlanta Falcons kind of what they evident.
Like what they did in the off season.
Their traffic picks will give our thoughts on them, and then we'll give our most valuable player on the offense of side for each team and on the deep inside for for each team.
And we'll give our will.
Give more record predictions.
So we're gonna start off with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and man in the off season they had, they had one of probably the best offseason.
Any NFL team can have.
May made free agent signings that the template booking years hat is, of course, the signing of quarterback Tom Brady for the New England Patriots.
Now he's only temporary booking years, and they have a really good chance to win the Super Bowl.
They also get to add in a great linebacker, like like a running back like LaShawn McCoy from the Kansas City Chiefs, who was far for those who opening team.
And those were kind of going to be the main to free agent signings on the gulapa.
I'm also gonna add into Dhammika NSU as well they brought back, which I believe was a huge win with them.
And I'm gonna go up.
Go don't use them.
What are your thoughts on the bucking years? Getting getting guys like a Tom very like a LaShawn McCoy.
And bring it back to Topic and sue to attempt of a book in your team.
I don't have huge, I mean, maybe, oh, well called Jameis.
Winston's been the past few years, and now I think he's pulling a Teddy Bridgewater the way Teddy Bridgewater went to New Orleans.
Kind of learned off one of the best quarterbacks and get all right now.
Or I guess, in recent years, true breathes learning off a legendary future Hall of Fame quarterback.
And that seems to be it seems to be the way that the route that Jamis Winston is going.
But James and I have talked about this before.
I think the Buccaneers we're getting a lot of hype, and I mean, however, I still think I sell still have their record.
Um, it's a sneak preview of this.
I'll have them going 10 and six and making the playoffs, but I don't see that.
I don't think they're making the Super Bowl, but I think it's huge.
I think Tom Brady will be better.
I think he definitely is under pressure.
Um, and it will be interesting to Washington under proofs, areas and not only Mike Avon's but up and coming stud in Chris God and also have Gronkowski, too.
And I he hasn't played football in the new year, so I don't know it will be.
It'll really be interesting to wash frog.
I don't really Now, how do you think? Or I guess both of you.
How do you think Gronk does? I'll go first.
I think I think Iraq is gonna be OK now.
Do I think it would be like Prime Caracara is one of the best tight ends and football? No, but I do definitely believe he'll be serviceable for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
And I think Tampa Bay might even keep three tight ends on the roster because they still got O J Howard and Cameron Break, and you got Rob Gronkowski on there and was kind of great problem gas. He is.
He doesn't really have to be like that many tight end like when he was in New England.
You have basically Tom Brady's favorite guy.
Now that he goes into Tampa Betty, he doesn't really have to put up.
You know, those superstar stats that used to put up, you know, you could just put it up.
Serviceable number lady, maybe 334 maybe five catches a game, maybe 40 or so yards.
And and that would be perfectly fine.
Maybe they pull them in, you know, in Red Zone plays on play action.
You know, baby, when it comes down to crunch time, when you need a Brady and Gronk connection, you could use of them.
But, you know, I I don't think he'll be one of the best titans and football.
I think that's just gonna be Kittel and Kelsey.
That's on their own level playing field.
But I do believe Gronkowski will be a reliable tight end for for that baby looking here, I think, for the truths I think he'll produce by opening, he's gonna be as good as people are putting them out to be.
Yeah, What about you, James? I don't believe I don't believe that Gronkowski is gonna have that kind of impact even remotely close to what he had seen.
The reason I say that is because they already had two tight ends who have been in that system for a few years now.
Howard and Cameron Break, I believe that they brought in Gronkowski as more of a blue guys.
Somebody who knows Tom Brady knows how he operates because Bill Check and Bruce Areas are almost polar opposites in terms of coaching there, about four options in terms of the locker room culture that they set into play and Tom Brady.
I think it's gonna need somebody there with him that's going to allow him toe relax.
He's into it and get himself comfortable into this new Tandem Bay offense.
But when I look at this roster and look at this offense, I believe you have Tom Brady and it's been a pretty much run through Mike Evans and Chris God, What? I believe that those are gonna be the two guys that both take leaps forward in this season, even after great seasons from both of them last year, I believe Brady's gonna get them the ball and he's gonna find ways to get O. J. Howard and Cameron baseball.
I look at the Rob Gronkowski signing in the one that I sort of comparing fuels.
When Randy Moss went to San Francisco.
I think that it's gonna be very meek and mild.
Might not get a whole lot of time, but I think it will.
I will look for him a lot of the red zone.
Yeah, definitely hit it head on the money there, James.
What the With those main points, I definitely Gronk is just gonna be that guy where when you need him in the end, you'll be there.
You know, he doesn't really need a claim Law.
And, you know, you're gonna be a serviceable guy, and I'll kind of go go back toe, go back to you, James, do you out of the free agent signings that that I just mind just listed.
It could be an obvious answer, but what do you believe will make the biggest impact for the tempera paint bucking years? this year like they think it's Tom Brady.
I think when you look at Tom Brady, no, he's not the player that he used to be.
But when you look at the Buccaneers as a team last year and the things that they reeled to do offense being defensively, a lot of the staff sheets showed of the Buccaneers should have been a playoff team, But they weren't.
And a lot of that had to do with the fact that Jamis Winston was throwing record numbers of take *** is in turning the ball over way too much.
And while I like Jamison talent, you just have way too many chances.
And it wasn't a good fit into the Arians offense.
Airings is a guy who likes toe, get the ball out.
He likes to spread it around.
He likes toe make big plays, and I think Brady's gonna almost have make it a healthy medium with Bruce Arians.
I think that Brady's gonna bring things to the table that he can learn, and Aaron's gonna bring sustainable that Brady can learn to make them both better in this season, which might be a shortened season which find for you a very difficult season as locker room from a locker room standpoint, so I don't think it's Tom Brady.
He's gonna You gonna make smart decisions.
He's not gonna turn the ball over.
He's gonna allow the defense to flourish.
He's gonna allow other guys to make plays.
And he's the ultimate blue guy.
He's the ultimate winner, which he's just laid nothing but excellence in his last 20 years of his career.
Yeah, no direct that same question to use them.
Who do you believe will make the biggest impact for fourth generate Buccaneers? Yeah, I I agree with James.
I think it's an easy one.
I think it's Tom Birdie.
We saw how Jamis Winston was the past theory past few years, looking at him like last season, especially Collins interceptions.
And, like you mentioned James, he has talent, has tons of town, and I think he definitely took a smart route in going to sign with the States to learn the 100 reason.
Now you look at Tom Brady, he's coming in with, obviously, Rob Gronkowski one.
He's old and too he hasn't played in the NFL in the year.
He's not gonna come in and be Brady's number one.
It's hard it right away.
They brought him in like you mentioned.
It's while J with the chemistry that they had for years.
He's going to come in and he's gonna be another guy.
Ah, glued play with Tom Brady and it will be Chris gotten in the Mike Evans show.
But I think I've got definitely have Tom rated.
Yeah, I also with what you do, you guys is why also have Tom Brady.
I feel like if Tom Brady isn't on the Buccaneers, we don't really talk about them as much as as we're as we are right now.
I feel like Tom Brady is gonna be the reason why you know, they go far during the season.
You know, whether whether it is just whether it's going like winning 12 or 13 games or going for on the plants.
I feel like depending on how good he does is this is where the book and years we're gonna be.
We like to welcome back club on this score us and for joining the broadcast, I will also be moving on to to the deputy booking years draft.
They did very well in the draft.
Some highlight players that I like, that what I like to talk with you guys is Ah, they drafted in the first round with 13.
Pick the office of DR From Iowa.
They also drafted a receiver from Minnesota, the fifth round Tyler Johnson as well as Anton Winfield Jr and Keyshawn Law.
He's the running back for Vanderbilt, with us every six overall.
Pick out of those fix I just mentioned.
Who do you believe has the biggest impact on the timidly booking years? I'll direct it to you, James.
Who do you believe will have the biggest impact? I think I think I'm gonna actually go with Antoine Winfield and I.
The reason I say that is because I think he was a steal for them.
I think he's a guy that comes in and fits into that system right away because you look at that team and you look at the things that they have on offense.
They did address the offensive line in the first round.
Did they get the best offensive tackle? Not so down and they don't leave When I needed you.
I think you look at a guy like Antoine Winfield.
He's gonna come in and he's going to improve that defence because even though their defense orphanage bad last year, I do think it's the main concern coming into the season that they can step up and play at a winning level.
Because Jamis comporting yourself.
You really don't have signed to think about don't help this team win because you're focused come from his mistakes.
Now you're in a situation where you have Tom Brady, who have very in you have office, you're going to come in and do.
And when I look at Antron feel that what he was able to do just that and helping that t accessible, I think you look at you, look at him and you look at him going on to that defense that I think he's gonna be an absolute start for them.
That's that's definitely a good pick.
I would have never thought of that.
I'll drink that same question to you, Sam out of the draft picks I just mentioned, Who do you believe will make the biggest impact for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers? I think it's absolutely at Antoine Winfield Jr.
Not only was the easiest steel.
There were some experts that even saw him getting drafted.
In the first, I would take Antoine Winfield over Grant dealt head and I know print help it.
I don't remember the award.
It won awards for one of the top defensive players in the country.
I would take insulin.
Winfield over Grant help it if you look at but his body for him, his arm like it's unbelief.
It's unbelievable what he was able to do at Minnesota in Key Child Von, which will get Teoh, it seems to me, Bruce Burst Areas is now saying that it's going to be the rodeo Show The Ronald Jones Show on the in that run game.
And, yeah, Tristen words to me, I think he was easily a top three running back in the draft class.
I don't think he was the best one.
What I didn't understand is why would get straight up one or two spots to get him when the team is picking before weren't gonna pick an offensive lineman, so that confused me a little bit.
But Shearson works is definitely a very nice pick for them, but I am most definitely going as long would feel junior as well.
I'll go a little bit of a different route.
I'm actually going to go with the offensive tackle trip. Tristen.
I'm going with Tristan Worth scared because we look at we look at what happened with Tom Bird in New England.
Has his offensive line wasn't wasn't as good as in year as a nearest pass, and I feel like Tampa Bay.
Getting trickster works with us was essentially because so Tom Brady can be protected and you could be able to throw the ball toe bike efforts.
And it's Godwin.
And it also just so if he simply has, has lying protection.
You know, it definitely felt like last year.
You know, Tom Brady was I was pressured.
MAWR, you know when when defender started to get get to him and I personally feel like that Truths of words.
Pick is gonna definitely help out Tampa Bay And don't get me wrong.
The the Antoine Winfield Jr He's also gonna make a big impact on the defense, but I feel like Tampa Bay is kind of gonna be engineered, you know, on the offensive side how well they do on the offense.
That them getting tress of worse is definitely gonna gonna be a huge impact to give Brady time to throw the ball deep.
Double field towards Chris Evans, Quick towards Mike Evans and Chris Godwin and and I also Verda.
I also heard you also wanted to talk a little bit about a key.
Keyshawn Von with them happy Ronald Jones and and LaShawn McCoy as well ask part of their running ever the running back treaty.
And believe Keyshawn Von will have any any impact at all on the Buccaneers.
I mean, you don't necessarily be right away.
The shop McCoy is not there.
Long term answered.
They lost Peyton Barber of the Washington football team.
Their run game is not.
They're not deep.
I'm not buying the Ronald Jones Show.
I think Ronald Jones has a lot to prove.
I mean, Ronald, he might be the running back one right now.
If you look at him, yeah, he's a little bit undersized, but he's abusive.
He's fast, he's quick and his his receiving game.
And like I mentioned, even we can all agree on.
Look at today's NFL.
They want on around running backs and which just surprises me.
James, you might.
I agree with me on this.
I don't know how demonically Freeman is not on a team.
I don't know how e.
Was going about you on Jonathan Taylor.
I really wanted in Tampa, even though he's highly of grooving in the receiving game.
If the Buccaneers were smart, I don't know.
I mean, yeah, the shop.
McCoy, to me, is just kind of a adapt lawyer.
I think he'll still split with final Jones.
They shouldn't sign Devante Freeman.
Yeah, what? He had one get a down year, but I just don't understand how he hasn't been on a team for this line, but I don't think he showing volume was definitely make an impact.
We may not see it right away.
I mean, look at what Shawn McCoy.
Let Shawn McCoy any complaint excludable look, Trauma Cohen starting fall from that? There were also rumors that he was going to go back to Philadelphia very interesting along with him and mild Sanders.
But I definitely think he shop on.
Is there running back of the future.
Let's definitely made some good points there, James.
L don't give me that same question as well, do you? Do you believe Vontobel will make any any impact from Tampa Bay Buccaneers this season? Well, I mean, I almost don't see how he couldn't considering the running backs they have.
Like Sam said, I'm not sold on Ronald Jones.
I think he's had a few years toe show something, and I don't think he's really lived after that.
I don't think that he's the guy for the future in Tampa Bay and Electron McCorvey.
Somebody was last year, and he's kind of seen him falling down.
It's been a little bit of a slipper slope for him, and he's just not what he used to be.
I look at that. Signing likewise, did wrong.
Signing a guy who's been in the league a long time ago.
I used that success, a guy that can come in and bring a winning culture to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
But you also have to bring guys that it can come in and have an impact right away.
And Devante Freeman.
He's a guy who's played on winning football teams who's had a lot of success who still should be in his prime.
So I look at that and I thought that was a match made in heaven, and I think it's still is that they could still find a way to get him over there.
I think that that's something of the utmost importance.
But Bond, I think that definitely you have him there.
And if he impresses the coaching staff in this training camp, I don't see why he wouldn't have a successful season with his offense.
Definitely, they made some good, good points there.
I'm also gonna agree with like what you guys said about Keyshawn, but I don't believe he'll make an impact this year.
But in a couple years down the road, I feel like he could be.
You could be that main guy in that you'll start to see and Tampa Bay bend in the next couple of years.
Let's move on to their season predictions.
Uh, I'm gonna go to use them.
How good do you believe the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be? What do you have their win loss record be? I had to go in 10 6 I think they'll make the playoffs.
I think with wild card spot.
I don't see them beating out the States.
I think there's a very strong shades.
They lose to the States twice, But I've got losing the Kansas City.
I've got them losing to Atlanta once.
And I think there's also a very strong chance that we see their moves at least once to Carolina might be a bold one because Caroline was kind of going into a I mean, I don't know.
I mean, I I think Carolina it.
I don't think they're necessarily bad.
They're not bad enough going to a rebuild based on the office that they have.
But I've got them going time and ***, and I'll direct that same question to you.
What do you have? The win loss record being from tempting Buck in years.
Yeah, I'm gonna go more the route of the 12 4 13 3 record, and I definitely think that they should be the favorites to go to the Super Bowl out of the NFC drive from the witness.
No, I think that that's gonna end up being either the Ravens or the Chiefs.
That is gonna end up taking them.
But I think it is that this team made are all great fits you look at and it's a sign developed.
They could find a way to get developed. It Freeman.
Then I think that it would be almost a cable to the NFC because I didn t NFC is taking a significant dip in terms of team quality and you have a camp baking and coming into a season.
It's bit of a shortened season.
You don't know what the that the Cove in 19 direction is gonna take this season.
So I think you have all of moving parts on that team.
Of all that talent.
I believe that that's gonna best in this environment, which I think that it's been a factory camper and they're going to go up for 33.
And I really think about it because of the defeat of Tom Brady getting Mike Evans and Chris Godwin with a defense that has some pieces already in his looking to make some conditions.
That's definitely definitely a bull, A bold prediction there but also gonna agree.
There's watching I have.
I have the terribly Buccaneers going, going 12 and four.
I feel like what? The additions that they have.
Only we look it if they had a different quarterback besides Mr and 30 for 30 Jamis Winston, I feel like they'd be in the playoffs.
But now that they got Tom Brady, he's gonna be rejuvenate ice.
He's gonna be a kind of guy where you know Bill Velchev simply down and he's gonna prove down a drunk.
You know, I do definitely see the losing to the same *** Alex once.
I do see him losing to the Falcons once, and I got the losing to Morgan's.
I got them losing Teoh Minnesota, and I got them losing to Chicago.
I feel like they're gonna be one of the better teams in the NFC, you know.
I can't wait to see what what Temple bait has in store, you know, could they be the Cleveland Browns, where you know they got all the hype and don't before him? Where is it going to be different? Where he knows there's gonna be vintage Tom Brady and he's just gonna lead Tampa Bay toe to the Promised land? You know, it's definitely gonna be an interesting thing.
We'll have to find out and C on.
Then let's move on to our offensive.
Our defense of NDP and our most improved player.
Let's start out with the offensive NBP and I'll direct this depending p from the 15,020 season.
Keep trend here.
I'm going to say, Tom Brady, I believe that he is going to spread the ball around.
I know I could go the route of Mike Evans a guy, but I think that ultimately they're going to both over 1000 yards and they're gonna balance each other out.
Brady is gonna come into that team, and he's gonna have an immediate impact.
He's not gonna turn the ball over.
He's not gonna make mistakes.
And he's going to run that offense and make it a well oiled machine.
So I believe you've added that piece and it's gonna be clear to me that he's gonna be the M v p of that offense.
And I believe it's gonna be a nem wiki candidate for the whole NFL.
So I'm gonna go time great on that.
What about you, Sam? Oh, yeah.
I've definitely got time.
I'm just seeing the kids joining, Um, I've got Tom Brady.
And the biggest question for monthly offense now is most definitely their protection.
And I love Tristan worse, and I love his versatility, the fact that he can play anywhere on that offensive line.
But Tristan, worst to me, just doesn't make them significantly better on their offensive line.
I mean, should they need they need more guy.
They need more help from scripting.
Worse, but like you mentioned, Tom Brady is going to come in. He has Gronk.
He has hopefully producing running backs Ronald Jones.
He has key Sherlund Bond, who's not necessarily unproven, but the stats don't they're not.
Look, they're not promising in the receiving game, but they showed it is capable of it.
If Final Jones, he has hopefully Keyshawn Bon.
Maybe something on a LaShawn McCoy.
We'll see how that pans out for them.
He has Mike Evans, Chris Cotter and, yes, three hits.
Mike Critter Cam Unbreak O J.
He has all the weapons and tools that he needs to succeed in that parking years office, and I've got Tom Brady and then I'll direct that same question to you, Caleb, who you believe will be the temporary Buccaneers offensive.
To be honest, I go of Mike Evans.
Man, I think he's gonna get a lot of touchdowns this year.
That's gonna increase from last year.
You get a lot of yards this year.
That's gonna increase a lot of that use.
I think he's gonna have a lot more consistent games this year.
Uh, he's gonna be a main target.
You know, he's gonna have a lot of one owner on opportunities with them being the team that they are with the receivers that they have.
A lot of teams aren't gonna be able to double my evinced, or he's gonna have his opportunities to get open.
Uh, all you have to do is, uh, have Tom Brady find you.
You will find it.
So I'm ago, Mike Evans, for I think you have a really good season, a lot more consistent.
It's using that you did last year.
And, yeah, I got my gallery.
That definitely and it's just didn't think there for I'm also gonna go with what James and Sam said.
I'm also going to go with Tom Brady as the offensive them being peak.
I mean, I step before nice it again.
If Tom Brady is on maternity Buccaneers, we're not talking about them and a suitable conversation.
We're just talking about them.
As you know, one of those teams that's just gonna underachieved.
But now they got Tom Brady.
Now he's gonna be with Juve NYSE.
You know, there's there's gonna be It will be a lot of talk.
You know that every book is that it could be a situation where it's Super Bowl or bust in Tampa Bay.
And Tom Brady has proven time and time again that he he is great in the clutch and, you know, it's it's going to be watching to see what what he's able to do, and he's got a lot of weapons.
He's got evinces, got Godwin.
He's got three very solid finance with great Howard and grog.
And, you know, I think in points all the way, said him being the offensive NDP without a doubt, and let's move on to our defense.
It here's my question.
Real quick was on Tim Tampa Bay instead of Tom Brady.
Well of your date.
I think this will be my offense about BP I would say I don't say I would say I would say came to because you would say I look at Cam Newton and it's what I have said about him.
Since the signing of the Patriots, a lot of people have criticized the weapons the Patriots had, especially in the last couple of seasons, that Brady has been there.
But what we can't forget is the season that Cam Newton won the M v P and took the Panthers to the Super Bowl. Look at the weapons.
Yet that season Kenyon Jr and aging Greg Olsen, even Kelvin Benjamin without for that season.
So to me, I look at that and I say Cameras one a lot more with less.
So if you get camp, all those weapons I would most definitely pick the Buccaneers is still probably maybe down to Quite is good because I settled in Cam Newton is the type of winter that convert.
He is one of the things that have a playoff performer convert.
So what? I picked them to win the Super Bowl with Canada, you know, But I would still say that they should definitely be one of the top three favorites in the NFC.
I agree with you as well, James.
I feel like if Cameron was on the Buccaneers, I would still give him the offensive end and be exactly what you said.
He's got better weapons.
It every that he ever had, really.
His entire 10 year in Carolina, when we look at his best receiver his entire tenure and and Carolina was pretty much on aging Steve Smith and then he pretty much had aging Greg Olsen.
And then, you know, near the end, he had McCaffrey another than that.
That's pretty much it, you know.
And if you were on the Buccaneers now you know we still got Evans.
Godwin, you you got you would have O.
Howard and Cameron break.
You wouldn't have grown because I feel like Gronk and Brady were a package deal.
But you would still have to very solid tight ends.
And you know it.
It would be would be great, verge immune to be on that team.
So definitely, definitely a good question that you ask a lot.
That's another year you went to is you probably would not have crocked if Cam was on the Buccaneers instead of Tom Brady.
J. Howard doesn't done anything since he came into the NFL.
Abrade is not a starting tight and Kevin Brady, If I'm not mistaken, I'm pretty sure restructured his contract into kind of a tight end to or roll tight.
And I would go Cam Newton as well still.
But at the same time, I think it's really close between Cam and Chris.
Got one Definitely very, very close there.
Now let's move on to the Deputy Buccaneers defect of M V P.
I'll start with I'll start with my ago shack.
Barrett for the Tablet Buccaneers Defense of ending P.
Uh, did did he didn't get his extension? Or do you just accept the franchise tag this year? I think I think all we did was this except the French.
You gotta Frank.
Yeah, he got the tag.
He didn't get the franchise again.
He can't came off of a career year.
I believe he almost at 20 sacks last year, didn't have, like, I think he had 19 or 19 half sacks last year.
Yeah, he did he Definitely.
He definitely was.
Was, in my opinion, the main reason why the generally Buccaneers defense was What was it improving defense? You know, I believe that was a couple years ago.
They had one of the worst defense is in the NFL.
Then Todd Bowles came in and felt turned the defense around into a somewhat of a respective unit.
And, you know, it was all all entailed Teoh Shack, Pair of being a fantastic player.
And, you know, with him getting tab, you know, he thought he was worthy of an extension, but he got franchise tag, and I feel like that's gonna put a little chip on her shoulder.
But you're gonna franchise tag me.
You know, I'm gonna go prove my worth.
You know, it's gonna be a contract year.
And if Shack Bear puts up close to the same numbers, I want to be surprised if he gets a defense of M v p.
And you know, possibly in the running for defensive player of the Year.
If he puts up those kind of numbers and I'll even direct the question to you, Sam, who do you believe will be the book and years to sensitivity and Pete received.
I've also got your fear.
And he's just not only see the star of the defense I think he wanted, I'm pretty sure.
He said he wanted to get paid like an edge rusher as well.
And not a linebacker, but yet Jack Baird.
He's putting his name back out there as sure as you should.
That defense and shack barrettes and me is kind of a given, in my opinion, is why I've got Shack.
I'm definitely a good choice on What about you, Kayla? Who do you believe will be the Buccaneers defense spending Pete this season? Yeah.
I'm gonna have to go and shag Baird to, uh you know, you guys said it.
You said it all a man do is go go last year.
I think he's gonna continue to be a guy on their defense.
That oclock is the pressure as long as we stay healthy.
Uh, he could expect a big contract come his way next year, and he could perform the same er, but even this is that they have Ah, this is getting the years he did last year would be fine.
so, yeah, go ahead.
Definitely another good option. Now.
What about you, James? Who do you believe will be the temporary Buccaneers defense of NDP this season? Well, I'm gonna complete the 40 sleep and go with the shock paired as well.
I think that he's a guy who's he's definitely a star.
He's the star of this defense, and coming into this year, he's not gonna have as much pressure on.
There's gonna be a lot more room for him to grow and become better.
And if almost at all, it looks hot, bolder Boulder as well.
I think you guys nail that.
He's He's definitely a guy who's looking to come into this year and make some noise now that the Buccaneers have the tools to make a deep run and he's a big part of that.
I think he has all of the tools, all the steel sets to come into this year and make the kind of impact that's gonna make this defense a winning defense.
Definitely fantastic points there.
We pretty much it hit all the money.
They're about a shack.
Barrett and I also want to close off the gravity Buccaneers with the kind of the most improved player.
Uh, who do you believe Sam will be the most improved player for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers? This is it.
So I've got I'm gonna go with wild card pick.
And this is one of my favorite brookies in the 2019 draft.
And that's L s U linebacker Devin White.
That's dude has all of the tools and the skill set in the world to be a franchise cornerstone on their dean fronts along with Shack Barrett.
This is a bold take.
I put this in my article years.
So last year, Coach O compared him to Patrick Willis.
Um I mean, it's a full take.
I'm not agreeing with the guy.
I'm not gonna make that assumption right away.
But he's physical.
I mean, the one not that I give on him is if you watch this film attack.
It's a minor weakness where it's a guy he tackles too high, and you lets its technique in the way we get in the way of them.
With this dude, he is all of the tools and the skills that to be successful and be a franchise linebacker for it seemed like the Buccaneers and I've got death and life definitely a good selection there, and I'll drive that same question to you, James.
Who do you believe will be the most improved player for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this season? I'm gonna I'm gonna go offense, but this one, I'm gonna say O.
The reason I say that is because I believe that he's now in a system that he can succeed.
When you look at the last couple seasons with Jamis, Winston had quarterback.
It was a lot of deep passes, especially with Mike Evans and now the emergence of Chris Godwin last season and O.
He's always kind of one of those guys who people have hoped would be good, but he hasn't quite gotten to where people have wanted him to be.
But when you look at the history of Tom Brady and you look at all the person offenses that he's had, tight ends are a big thing for him and you know they have the guy Gronk that he has.
He's been going to for a number of years now and you could tell, especially last season, not how not having Brock impacted Tom Brady.
So I believe when you have a guy like O.
Howard with his skill set, I'm pretty is gonna find out what he used him and get him involved.
And with him having that in his corner, I think he's gonna come in and have a very good season.
The two star receivers last game.
We're gonna take a lot of the pressure off that he's gonna be a red zone target.
He's gonna be a target in the open field, and Brady's gonna use him quite often.
So I'm gonna go with O. J. Howard.
It could play to select their.
And I'm, uh, direct the same question to you, Caleb.
Who do you believe will be the most improved player further? 10 of Bay Buccaneers.
I was gonna go gay.
Our to you basically said it all.
I mean, he's gonna have those opportunities where you generally opening for short passes and guards after he gets a lot.
So I think he's definitely have a lot of opportunities come his way.
He could capitalize on him.
We have a solid year.
I'm not expecting them to have 12 100 yards.
But, I mean, I think I have more yards, more catches and four touchdowns and did last year.
And, you know, you either stay in Tampere.
Could it be a trade options? Listen, this bernetti on.
And I'm also gonna agree with you, Jay James and killed.
I'm also gonna go with O. J. Howard.
The reason why I'm also gonna go with the O.
Howard is because Tom Brady loves to use this tight ends as as a target.
I mean, looking before before Rob Gronkowski took his one year, one year hiatus, you know, he he was one of hombres favorite targets, you know, besides Julian Element in New England, it was Robin casting be being that guy, and and I feel like o. J.
Howard could potentially be that, you know, obviously we look at they got like and as they got Chris Kahn when they're obviously going to get their touches.
Howard is the kind of guy where, you know, I believe he's entering his contract year, and you know, if he wants to get recognized by 10 today, if he wants to get paid, why they or even get paid elsewhere.
That needs a tight end.
Or be like McKillop setting valuable trade piece.
You know she's gonna have to step up and get big numbers.
Did I believe he will? I believe he'll get good catches show, get good yards, and and I believe he could put his name in the hat as being one of the better tight ends in football.
Now I won't say in the upper echelon like George killing Travis Kelsey, but I will say that he could be one of the one of most every respectable pied ends that can make a big contribution to his team.
And before, before we get to the the Atlanta Falcons since Caleb you joined in a little later, I kind of want to give your your opinion on these two on these two things.
So we talked about we talked about their free agent signings of the main ones we discuss where Tom Brady, Tom Brady going to tamp.
We talked about Gronkowski.
We talked about McCoy and we talked about them bringing back the atomic en su out of those players who you believe will make the biggest impact for Tampa Bay.
Uh, Brady Brady, where when you put something Super Bowl competition, that's no question rating.
Definitely, definitely a good pick there, I believe.
I believe all of us agreed on on that.
And then on the last thing before we go to Atlanta, we're gonna talk about the Buccaneers.
James and Sam went with Antoine Winfield Jr.
I went with Tristan worse as the most impactful traffic who you believe will make the most impact intimate Buccaneers.
And I'll name off some of these players.
Tristan works for the first round.
Antoine Winfield Jr or Keyshawn Bond.
Who do you like the biggest impact for the Buccaneers this season? I definitely Tristen Worse is gonna make.
The biggest impact is because they gotta have somebody there like it really take care of Tom Brady.
I know he has improved anything it but yes, good potential to take a hair.
I think that's really, really, really need it.
So, uh, yeah, I'm just a Christian.
Those other guys in defense, I didn't They come in, make an impact, but I think the worst was definitely guy they needed.
They needed somebody go And I am a Blatt last thing toe ask you about What do you believe The Buccaneers record is guarantee.
Sam has 10 and six.
James and I both had 12 and for what do you got? I got 11 inscribe only reason, because a lot of guys, a lot of guys with major impacts coming to a team.
So I just think the chemistry is gonna be a little bit off.
I think in the NFC, there's already a lot of teams that's been together for two years now.
Have good chemistry.
It all easy this year.
Some teams like saying Seattle Niners, That's the only reason I put him at 11 5 I do think there will be a dangerous team on offense, and they are, you know, a favorite.
They come out of the NFC for sure, but I just don't think they'll have a super great, um, regular season, considering there are no preseason games as well.
So they start off on a bad foot.
They really got, you know, recover and they don't have four games space, you know, Hang back on himself.
I got from George 11.
Record record point there.
And now we officially move on to the Atlanta Falcons.
They were also one of the busiest teams in the NFL, mate, mainly in the offseason free agency with Dutch trade trading for former Ravens tight and hated Hirst to now become their title number one, basically replacing Austin Hooper, who signed with Sleeve one.
Then they also signed Dante Fowler Fowler Jr from the L A Rams.
They also brought in talk early Brian Todd Gurley from from the L A. Rams.
The once offensive player of the year now kind of seems like he's, He's near.
He's near the bottom, you know, with a bunch of health concerns, and I'm just gonna go go with those with those three players, and I would direct this one, this one to use him.
Who do you believe will be will be the biggest impact signing for the Atlanta Falcons Between those three players that we talked about a least goat one live and they lost of Andre capable Teoh.
The Cardinals, They lost desert truth fronts and lions, and they lost the easily to the Titans.
Dante Fowler Waas, one of their biggest moves of the off season.
I think Dante Faller will come in and he he's going to make an immediate impact on that defense.
Dan Dan Quinn is long gone.
Dan Quinn is an overdue fire, but to me it this is a pretty easy one.
I've got Dante Fowler, and then I'll direct the same question to you, James, who you believe will make the most intact between those three freezes.
Things that I just named out.
I'm actually gonna go the Rockets. Hot, girly.
The reason I say Todd Gurley is because when you look at the NFL and the direction that it's heading, running backs are starting to resurface.
You look at the top running backs in the league, and it's much more fruitful than it was, say 10 years ago And Todd Gurley.
He's had a lot of injuries, the arthritic knees that he's been dealing with.
But if you look at the situation that he was put in with the Rams, he had a lot on.
They had a lot of offensive line issues in his tenure with.
There was very up and down in that sense, and he's coming in on Atlanta team where he's not going to be expected to do as much.
He's still extremely talented.
He could do it all in the backfield and he can make plays in the passing game as well.
So you look at him and I think he's going to come in there.
He's gonna fit into that offense.
Devante Freeman had a down year let this year, so he doesn't have extreme shoes to fill.
I don't see this team is a playoff team.
I see them as a team that's gonna do what they know normally do, and it's gonna be pretty much Matt Ryan tryingto dictate this offense with his talented receivers.
But I think Todd Gurley, the guy who's gonna come in and he's gonna balance out that power a little bit, and I think he's gonna be productive this year.
So I'm gonna go talk early, all right? Definitely a good player there.
What about you came up? Who do you believe will make the biggest impact for the Atlanta Falcons between those three players? Yeah, we're gonna go titled Ilias.
Well, um, I think you have a solid season.
They don't have the best line.
I don't think he'll get 1000 yards anything, but I do think that will go to him on the goal line will be ableto your pal on a lot of touchdowns.
They come home, um, that'll help him.
Has never had a Julio on his team.
So that's definitely gonna take a lot of attention are off from I really is the guy.
I suspect that senior when you have a pop off year, So I think we'll get a lot of opportunities that he didn't get on the Rams.
And I do think you yeah, a red zone target for short just pounded in 31 32 target.
So I think you'll be in a It will be in on important place and make some major plates and I would go look a little different.
I was gonna go with time, really, But just to switch things up, I would go with Hate and Hearst three's a while ago with Hated Hearst is kind of look at the stats that Austin Cooper put up last year.
Put up some fantastic stats, you know, beside precisely of jokes.
And Calvin really can explain Target that Matt Ryan loved the throat.
It was awesome. Hooper.
Now, now that these up up in Cleveland I expect hating hers to fill in the rule perfectly.
And we saw we saw flashing.
Lee was in Baltimore.
You know, he didn't really get a lot touching because both war hat on Mark Andrews as your time, But I thought it can be being the title one in Atlanta.
I feel like he's gonna be be a good impact now, Dr Lee Till put up Austin Cooper like numbers? No, but I do definitely feel like he's gonna put up, put up some good sized numbers and let's let's move on toe.
So the Atlanta Falcons draft picks.
So some of the main draft picks on the highlight our and the for first round with the 16th pick, they selected cornerback A. J.
Carroll in the second round.
They drafted a defensive tackle, Marlon Davidson.
They also drafted Matt Hennessy in the third with both of workout fixates like the linebacker Michael Walker and safety Jalen Hawkins.
And in the seventh round, they stuck to the punter.
Sterling profit edged her out of all of those players at the Atlanta Botkins Drafted.
I'll go to you, James, on this one.
Who do you believe is gonna be the most impactful draft pick that the Atlanta Falcons town.
Well, I think it's gonna be the one thing.
I definitely think that she's going to be a guy who's going to come in.
It was a team need for them, and then you all the help.
They can get it up.
Is it? They are coming into this year.
Their defense has been their Achilles heel for almost five years.
Now I want to say so.
I'm gonna go with him.
I think he's gonna come in there and he's gonna tow.
Haven't actually way, because many he's gonna have a major world, so you could get a lot of reps.
You gonna come in right away and struggled early in season? It is a static of a world.
I believe that that's come in and start talking to come into its own a little bit more on.
And then I'll direct that same question to you, Sam.
Who do you believe will have the biggest impact as a drafting for the Falcons this year? I'm also gonna agree with James on a J Morality.
They lost Desmond Trufant as soon as they lost true fun.
I fully expected that team to trade up to the ninth pick to get the second best corner in that draft.
And that's Florida C. J.
But Agent Carol I mean, there were quite a few surprising picks in the first round, and a J.
Terrell was one of them, obviously, a mid or that was another one, but that's a total.
Both Raiders picks where total Mike Mayo, Micmac selectors.
Mike May act is a draft genius.
Henry rugs being the first receiver taken off the board, David or not, and I'm I love David Arnett.
But David are not.
A lot of people hadn't won mid early to mid second round, so little bit of a reach.
Eiji Toral was even seen as a second round candidate prospect.
It's where I was a really interesting player, kind of a fun player to watch, grow and develop back Clinton.
He's a flight like a guy that really improved that exceeded in man coverage and heads that athleticism and line, I think is really gonna fall in love with, and they're going.
They're going to expect him to come in and make that immediate impassioned.
So I've got a and I'll direct that same question to you, Caleb.
Out of all of the draft pick that I just named off, do you believe will make the biggest impact for the Atlanta Falcons this season? I gotta go a J to reality.
They're gonna need a quarterback to step in and make big plays and eventually eventually be able to be their number one quarterback to guard the best receivers, you know? And they need somebody to step up pressure on micro comics.
They need people to step up and really make place.
So, you know, he's gonna be the young guy that they look to build after I think, Why not him? So get rooms up this year.
Why not guy? And then I would do a clean sweep.
My most gonna be what you guys said, What? The cornerback agent troll with the 16 thing.
And that is why I'm gonna go with that is just because I like what you guys said he's basically gonna replace.
That's been true fun as as their main corner.
You know what? You fought going to Detroit.
I feel like Atlanta had to make this election.
You know, they had this like the quarterback and I just can't wait to see what like he's able to live now.
I do think Sam, I did like I said, Like they should have trying to trade a number nine to get CJ Anderson.
I feel like it would be too hard to do, but I'm glad they were able to get a corner at 16 1 Agent Terrell and hopefully, like you think one day he'll be that number one corner about the lock up some of the beast like receivers in the NFC South White like a Mike Evans and Michael Thomas.
And let's move on to the Atlanta Falcons team record.
Uh, I'll start off with you, Caleb.
How good do you believe the How good or bad do you believe the Atlanta Falcons will be this year? Paul.
I think they will go about seven in mine this year.
I can't Oh, uh, I don't stand being too good this because there so many teams see really good.
Um, I think that the beef salad is your next year.
You know that in step and make an impact in.
Winfield always gave them this year spread.
Uh, this year I just expected being too But I do see him being a little bit better than they were last year.
So I would say around 798 me on.
I'll direct that same question to you, James.
What do you have the record for the Atlanta Falcons this season? I'm gonna go with six and 10.
I look at their schedule, I look at the division and I see them losing both to the Saints and the Buccaneer ****e.
I look at that right away. I think.
I think they could be the Panzers twice.
I'm not sold on Carolina pretty much because of Teddy.
Uh, that I think the Falcon still a lot of little fulfilled.
They, I think, adding Thanh really helps them.
But ultimately I feel there just in the same boat as they were last year.
I think there's still a year away.
I'm gonna go back to same spoiled and I believe **** Quinn is a coach that or do for fire.
And he definitely should go if they don't make the playoffs this season.
The gondola Super Bowl.
But at the end of the day, the NFL's awas have you done for me lately kind of league and I believe they have another six intense season in the wake of them, and it's gonna be time for them to start looking for coaching change.
Definitely a good record there.
And I'm a goad director.
Same question to you, Sam.
What do you have the record being for the Atlanta Falcons this season? I'm also going to go with six and sad, and this is a team if you disregard their draft.
They lost, the more they lost more than they gain.
Like the Bond Dave, Andre Campbell is going to hurt them.
Desmond Trufant was a huge loss and I mean, yeah, they lost pick easily in the game Dante Fowler.
But their defense still needs some serious work.
Their defense is going tohave to pick up a lot of they're going to need a lot of developing.
There's a lot of young talent on that team, but at the same time there's a lot of unproven talent and I've got them going six in 10 Nikolay good records.
There I go with what you have said.
I also happen to go in 79.
Look, I feel like at the Atlanta Falcons are stuck in the middle I think they're too good to tank, but they're not good enough to compete.
And when they're basically a third place team, you know, if you if you put up, if you put him in almost any division, you could see the vision like a third place team.
And I see them being a third place team in the NFC South of 79.
I don't think they have enough to compete with the Saints or the Buccaneers in division.
I don't see them competing with other powerhouses in the NFC in like San Francisco, like Green Bay.
Even you could cost me.
Some include Minnesota in there and even Seattle as well.
I just I feel like they don't have.
They don't have enough to compete, and I feel like Dan Quinn is gonna be the guy who's gonna be fired after this year and so so they're highlighted loss of that that I have this season.
I got the listen to the Saints.
I got losing to Dallas.
I could see them losing Green Bay, Minnesota.
I could even see the losing to the team.
What like Carolina? I truly believe I don't buy the Atlanta Falcons one bit.
Don't get me wrong.
I love to see it go back to his old form, but I just feel like they're they're just a team that's gonna be up in the middle.
Six in 10 798 mate.
Really, really nothing special.
And I expect after that season that Dan Quinn is gonna be out the door and let's move on to.
There are 33 main awards for the Atlanta Falcons, the office of M V P, the defense of MBT and the most improved player.
So we're going to start off with the offense of M V P.
And I'm going to write this one to you.
Who do you believe will be the Atlanta Falcons Most Valuable Player? This is a who knows value.
Physical player on well on offense, defense or just on on the office on the offense.
Man, that's that is a tough one. I am.
I'm gonna go with Julio Jones.
Uh, ultimately he's got.
He's the whole package.
As a wide receiver, he's always putting up consistent numbers.
He's always a threat making ham packed and with some new weapons coming in with Todd Gurley coming in with Calvin Ridley open to take another leap forward.
It's going to alleviate some pressure from Julio Jones.
Uh, and it's a bit of an interesting one, because I think it could go either way, too, because Julio Jones might not be in his prime anymore.
But with the Falcons being the kind of team, they are a team that's gonna have to throw the football a lot because that defense still isn't really there yet.
So I believe who was gonna come in, have another 900 to 1000 yard plus season, and he's gonna have a lot of touchdowns.
He's always a red zone.
So I'm gonna go with the old reliable, and I'm gonna take Julio Jones on the office.
Definitely a good option there.
I'm a direct that same question to you, Caleb, where you believe will be the offensive nbg for the Atlanta Falcons this season.
This might be a bullet take, but I'm gonna go with Calvin Ridley, man, I think he'll have 1000 yard seasons.
You'll get double digits in touch downs.
I think like I said, you know, Julio, attention will get all that I mean earlier movie a jump to get a lot of attention, which, well, will, you know, allow have a really did get loose.
So I think you you know how this season it emerges a main target for the A lot of value.
I think they put himself on the map.
It was a great year.
This year you have a really something super game.
I like a lot of people don't give me respect, but I'm telling you, you have years here.
Take their kids.
Since you take cover.
They have a bounce off the same question.
In 2018 the Steelers had Antonio Brown introduce Smith Schuster.
Antonio Brown was obviously the number one receiver, and Judas was Schuster.
I had a quiet, good good season where I believe, almost out of 1000 yards of double digit such tales.
Do you, in fact, that same thing with Govern really as kind of why you had him as the office of M. V.
P? Do you think that it's gonna be that same Antonio Brown futures from the shoots of situation where Julio Jones is gonna be that one guy everyone's gonna be targeting.
But then they forget about sovereignty, and he's gonna have a fantastic season.
Yeah, exactly that.
Leo don't will have a different approach to it.
I don't think I think it will turn into a little, you know, I should have got its everything I think about a different way.
Be happy for him.
And it'll take a big impact and effect on the locker room.
So I think it turned out of how didn't Pittsburgh.
All right, good, good, good.
Good selection there with Calvin Covered Ridley.
And I'm a direct the same question to use them.
Who do you believe will be the Atlanta Falcons offensive? Anything, people? I'm gonna go back to James, and I'm gonna say, Julio Jones.
I mean, you look at the receivers now.
People are talking about Michael Thomas.
They're talking about want the Adams, right? Police.
So they're talking DeAndre Hopkins.
It almost seems to me in like, yeah, you can even put the best of best ability is availability on who on Julio Jones.
But it seems to me that Julio Jones as good as he is, he's worth turning to not talk about him as much.
He's a big body receiver.
He's everything you want in a wide receiver.
And I still think he is their wider Stephen Ron and is there made weapons and I've got a chance.
I'm also gonna have to agree with with what you said, James Exam.
I'm also gonna go with Julio Jones.
Look, Julio Jones made makes that makes their offense.
You know, if Rubio Jules is it is it going if he's not doing good than the whole offense is kind of gonna be stagnant and don't go wrong.
You know, I do hopefully believe Todd Gurley does well, but I just feel like I have a main threat is going to be Julio Jones.
And don't Wronki love.
You do have a good point with Calvin.
Really, I just don't think he's there yet.
I like people don't really fear cabin really like they do with Julio Jones.
Like defensive coordinators.
Whenever they go up against the Atlanta Falcons, they got always wonder where is clear gel speak? Because I mean, people forget a couple years ago, Julio Jones have 300 yards, one time receiving in one game.
I think he's one of the only receivers toe crack to crack 300 yards in a game.
So if you can find a way to come back to that same capability, it's gonna be that will be very, very interesting to see what happens there.
And you know that, she said.
She why I got Julio Jones? You know, he's one of the best receivers in football, you know for sure. Top five.
And you know, I feel like Matt Ryan is gonna is gonna favor him a lot, you know, in the red zone and in almost every facet of the game.
And let's let's move on with the defensive and VP, who do you and I'll direct this question to you? Came on who you believe will be the Atlanta Falcons defensive NDP this year.
The question was a really tough question.
I let you guys answer that one fishing every princes leg, non existent.
It was non existent last year.
Uh, I kind of figured, Have you seen being thin this year? You need to build on that a little bit more, but, um I mean, yeah, that's a tough question.
I want to hear you guys have talked about defense is non existent, but that's about it already.
I'll only might.
I'm gonna go a Dante Fowler as my defensive MVP, and you have a great point.
The Atlanta Falcons defense is is just It is bad, you know, they like Sam, said.
Like Sam said earlier, they lost more than the games, and I feel like the player that they gave Dante Fowler.
I feel like you'll.
He'll be their defense of M v P.
I feel like he will be.
I think he'll be the only player on the defense you expect to be good this season.
And that's essentially why I got Dante Fowler as my defence with BP for the Atlanta Falcons.
I'll direct that same question.
The used and who do you believe it will be? The Falcons defense Yvette compete this season.
I'm also going to say Dante from over, and I want to repeat myself.
Yeah, like invention, too.
There it seemed that they've lost more than they gain.
They lost, as in true font.
They lost the monetary Campbell.
They lost Vic Beasley and the star of their defense is now going to rely on a guy like Count.
They Fowler and you look at the quarterback position, their quarterbacks position is still concerning because it's unproven. Guys.
Yeah, they're going to expect a J.
Terrell to come in and produce right away and even Marlon Davidson on their D line, which we didn't get the chance to talk about outside of Derek Brown.
What's even more impressive? Marlon Davidson put up those stats with Derek Brown.
So it's not like Derek Brown was taking all that spotlight front Lord.
But Dante followed to me is going to come in.
He has the veteran experience.
He's going to come in and be that star off parking fines, and I've got Dante color on.
I direct this same question back to you, Caleb.
Who do you believe will be for the Atlanta Falcons defensive end repeating this season? I think I mean, I can't go wrong with Beyonce.
A father can go wrong if he is the defensively of the year.
I don't think you'll have too much of a like amazing were anyways.
Whoever solid year that best Deep indicated there there, but not in the league are I think he on a new can come back in our solid solid year, hopefully make their their secondary defense a lot better and teach the end guy age a serial of something so that would leave my cards.
I thought of him a little late.
Remember that he got hurt last year, but I come back and a lot of veterans secondary already.
Definitely an interesting pick there, Caleb, About direct.
That same question to you, James, who you believe will be the Atlanta Falcons defense of them.
VP need this season.
Yeah, I like the counter, Neil pick, but I'm gonna I'm gonna go with the power.
I think that you look at him and you look at the scale so that he brings to the table and he's a guy that's gonna come in and make an impact right away whether or not the defense is good and they're gonna need him to do so if they hope to have any chance at getting into the playoffs with that seven seed being there right now, that opens up a huge door for teams like the Atlanta Falcons who have talent and around the cost of making it.
And they're going to need a big time player like Dante Fowler, a big time player, big time James, big time performances and He's a guy that could come in there and do that for them and have that kind of impact.
And you also could be a guy who knows, maybe he will help that defense.
It really sometimes only takes one guy to come in and start making place.
That sets the tone and sense of rhythm in a defense.
So I'm definitely gonna go Dante Fowler.
I think he's a great addition, and it's, Ah, starting point for them.
Toe start building their way back up hopefully and get some stability on that defense that they haven't had a recent years.
Definitely a good often.
They're so most of us agree that it will be Dante Fowler as the defense and then repeat the one out live being being keep union.
I believe discount a deal, which is also a good a good selection there and we're going toe close out goes out tonight's episode with the Atlanta Falcons.
Most improved player on other go to use them.
Who do you believe will be in the Atlanta Falcons Most improved player this season? My most improved flair is exactly who James mentioned would make the most impact coming in and That's Todd Gurley.
Todd Gurley is everything you want in a running back.
I think everyone is sleeping on Todd Gurley.
If you look at the ratings in time, barely tours a c l, Georgia and and now now obviously, we're seeing it's starting to act up.
He is shown, and we have now seen that he is not capable of being the war course running back and now, like you mentioned, like everyone here's mentioned.
Now they have Hayden, Hurst, Calvin Ridley and Julio Jones, and they now in their run game.
They have three running backs Now.
They have cod girly Brian Hill and Ito Smith.
So there, though, that's to fence three running backs.
They're gonna sweat carries and that I don't think I think people are sleeping on Todd Gurley.
I said this before.
I think Todd Girl has the capability of producing stats, being capable of being a top 10 running back in the 9 10 range, and I've got time.
Girlie is my most improved player, definitely a great, great option there.
I'm a direct that same question to UK.
Look, who do you believe will be the Atlanta Falcons most improved player this season.
Uh, with me going with Cavern, really? As the MBT uh, I'm gonna have to give him the most improved player to.
This is a pretty big jump that he's making from being a second, wide out team MTP.
So I think he's gonna have to get awarded those two awards Honestly, But if I was gonna go with somebody besides him that I think we have a really, really solid years, I think it would be Matt Ryan and that would be my most improved player.
If anybody else, I would go with Matt Ryan, not spoil a lot more touchdown throw for a lot more cards. Excuse.
That won't be anything new.
He's always expected of that.
But I feel like you will have year that, uh, said that's a lot better than it is recently.
So if it was anybody other than cover, really, I would go in my right already.
I'll direct that same question to you, James.
Who do you believe will be the Atlanta Falcons most improved player? This is I am going to go with the guy who I was debating as my offenses M v p.
And I'm gonna I like Caleb's point.
I'm gonna go with Calvin Ridley.
I believe Calvin Ridley is a transcendent talent who is on the cusp of entering his prime.
The reason I didn't go offensive MVP yet, it's I still think he's maybe a year away, and that also has a lot to do with the fact that the Falcons I don't expect much of them.
If this was a winning team, I would expect a lot more of Calvin, really.
But I still think they're gonna go the more out of Julio Jones as they try to build this team up.
But I've been saying this for a long time.
I think Calvin Ridley was the steal of that draft where the Falcons got him where they did.
I was really I remember just screaming at my teepee, telling San Francisco to grab him at their pick, which was about 14 picks prior to Atlanta taking in and he was also the second receiver taken in that draft.
So I think when you factor that in and you look at the kind of offense that they run, he fits right in and toys toe have a great season.
I could see the Falcons having a very similar season to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the sense that this offense is gonna put up a lot of numbers.
But at the end of the day, the shortcomings on that team just isn't gonna be enough to push them into the playoffs.
But from a statistical standpoint, I believe Calvin really gonna make another stride.
And he's well on his way to becoming a top 10.
Maybe even top five caliber receiver in this league that we made made good points there.
But I'll have to go with what Sam said.
I'd like talk girly is gonna be the most improved player for the Atlanta Falcons.
Reason why is I believe I believe Todd Gurley is gonna bounce back, you know, way.
Look, a top girl.
In the last two years, he has been his definitely hat had his knee problems.
You know, it's definitely starting starting toe resurface.
And you know, I like the Rams kind of kind of gave up on, you know, the Rams like cable, that big contract because, you know, he want offensive player of the Year in 2018 about two years ago and you know, I feel like Todd.
Really? You know he's coming home, you know, he's Ah, Georgia Bulldog.
With what Samsung He did have you know that that torn a c l when he was when he was at Georgia, and it seems like those saying the problems are are going back up.
I just I just like, talk early.
He's he's in a good state of mind, and I feel I can go to Georgia on going to the Falcons on a one year deal.
I felt, you know, it'll get I'm hungry again.
It'll bring that chip on the shoulder and maybe, just maybe, you know, this could be a free agency of a ton of running backs, you know, way we got doubt on Cook, you know, could be a free agent after this season.
I believe we also got contents kind of like have been freed up this season.
You know, there's gonna be a lot of yeah, and even Nick Chubb as well.
There's gonna be a lot of running backs out of free agents after this year.
And if Tom Girly wants to be once it wants to get paid big money.
Kind of like like he was with the Rams.
You know, he's gonna have to have a good season.
And, you know, that's why I have him as my most improved player for the Atlanta Falcons And that my friends will conclude tonight's episode of the Matt and Sam NFL recap show.
