Oh, hello, everybody.
Welcome to the Mad Dog Motors Show I a mad Dog, Matt, and, uh, let's go into the show.
So here is what we're going to be talking about right now.
I'm gonna hopefully have some more shows later in the day, but we're talking about the Spanish Grand Prix at the circuit to Barcelona, Catalonia in just outside of Barcelona, Spain.
It is where the F one circus is right now.
It's round number six of currently a 13 12 13 round season.
To be honest, we don't even know how long the season is going to be yet.
F one have have hinted that they're that they're putting up 18 race calendar for this year.
But before we get into anything, let's talk about today's earlier practice session.
F p three Hamilton and bought Hamilton led bought ask for a Mercedes, 12 while AQ Khan crashed with Kevin Magnuson for red flags at the end of the session.
It was a pretty weird crash.
I I woke up just in time to see it, Uh, but it was pretty weird, So Mercedes were still fast, but they're they're not that good with high tack track temperatures, which is what we're seeing in speed right now.
Uh, but who knows? It is early.
Is, uh it was like leak morning over there.
Now it's around afternoon here on the East Coast, around 9 a.m.
But we're going to talk about, uh, let's talk about the lock on and Magnuson crash, and then I'm going to get into my predictions.
But before, if you're unfamiliar with Formula One qualifying and how it works, here's how it works.
There's currently 20 drivers on the grid right now, meaning 20 drivers will try and go for poll is that 20 drivers will try to go for pole in in qualifying, but qualifying is split into three sessions.
So session number one is all 20 cars and then the top 15 in times go on to session number two than in session number two.
The top 10 move onto session number three and those top 10 in session three will go for poles.
So there you go.
That is F one qualifying in the simplest terms possible.
Uh, what are the tires that they're bringing? Uh, yeah, but so I think it's the C three, C two and C one that are that are bringing that Perelli Brandon tires for But here are the full practice.
Three results from Spain Hamilton and bought as completed.
The Mercedes 12 with her staff and third Carlos Sainz fourth.
Sergio Paris for Racing point and fifth.
Charlotte clerk for Ferrari in 6th 7th Peered.
Gasol e eighth was Lance Stroll, the other Racing Point car Alex album.
The other Red Bull was in ninth and 10th.
Daniel Ricardo, followed by his Reynold teammate Esteban Ocon.
Sebastian Vettel for Ferrari was 12th with Roman Grosjean, who was who wasn't involved in that wreck.
Sorry, that was Kevin Magnuson, this teammate for 14th Commie Riken and 15th Lando Norris.
An off day for him, Daniel kiddie app was 16th work.
Kevin Magnuson, who was involved in that crash with AQ Khan, was 17th.
Antonio Jova Nazi was 18th and the two Williams of George Russell and Nicholas Latifi round out the results.
So let's get into the the wreck.
I just wanna watch this.
I can't show it for copyright reasons, but, uh, just let me watch this after this F one TV pro ad, which I already have because I try hard to regain.
Yeah, Give me a minute.
This is very, very annoying.
Hey, look, it's actually good quality.
Okay? So, Esteban, coming out of the long, long turn three.
It seems he got break check by Kevin Magnuson and then on the street from a turn three to turn four, uh, you got you got blocked by Magnuson and then tried to go, and I guess he steered too much.
Lost control of the car and ka boom into the wall.
So here, let me Ah, let me show.
Don't know if you can see that right? But here, that is the aftermath of what happened, and it is time for qualifying.
So my predictions Mercedes one Teoh.
Even though it's high track temperatures, I don't think for staff and have a chance he will prop.
And I don't know about that because the FBI is taking away party mode for spot two weeks from now.
I'll cover that and later streams.
But don't worry.
I'll be back on after qualifying to review what happened and give you all the information coming up to race day tomorrow and information on the lower formula categories like F two F three will continue to cover NASCAR and IndyCar as I have in the past.
But thank you all for watching.
This has been the Mad Dog Motor Show.
And I will see you next time.
