What's going on, guys? Steve Fontana here with you coach Steve from the fantasy coaches podcast off.
So a member unwrap sports as well.
It's tuning in tonight.
I just got done.
Maher Weekly podcast.
I'm a little tired now, but I had to come on and make sure I continued my 32 teams in 32 days, guys.
And it's gonna be a lot of fun tonight again, this one.
Maybe only for a few minutes.
I am a huge Dolphins fan.
I'm not gonna be biased on it.
So, yeah, we're talking about some Miami Dolphins tonight, and the Miami Dolphins are fun team.
And I always say that about every team.
Everything's a fun team in its own way.
And with Miami Dolphins all comes down to who plays quarterback.
And more than likely, the Thena Ryan Fitzpatrick party is gonna probably start the season.
There's a good shot.
He even starts the entire season, and I constructed the happen to this coming here because I think it's better to let to a kind of rest overall and not throw him in the starting lineup.
But let's talk about Ryan Fitzpatrick.
Let's say Ryan Fitzpatrick plays the full season.
I mean, is the guy who's been known to throw big yardage, big touchdowns and also possibly throw some interceptions.
He also has a rushing floor for the guy who's 38 years old at around 200 yards last year and had four touchdowns.
I mean, it's six Q B one performances, 10 overall to be to a better performances last year.
So you know what we doing fine? Fitzpatrick.
I mean, he's got his, you know, a better run game, which will help.
He's got Preston women's back, which will help.
So, I mean, if you start 16 games, he's a survivable quarterback that can perform in big weeks.
To the defense is still why they're better.
I think they're still being somewhat of a comeback scenario, forcing Fitzpatrick of throw the ball more dot field.
He's back with one of his OSI's that he's been okay with this career.
But in terms of this, you know, draft this year.
Hey, Ravens fan.
19 things for joining Brian Fitzpatrick is definitely not someone you want to drop.
He's more about waiver wire quarterback that you're gonna use in a better week than he's actually playing because he does have a great core around him, then don't around.
They're all probably chances where he could end up being really good for a decent amount of time that you're gonna wanna throw in every week like last year, but isn't someone you want to draft because you just don't know.
And you don't know if he has a bad game.
If he has Maggie in week long, you're gonna be turned off on him and it's a new England, so it's probably gonna have a bad game, just kind of what Miami does.
But you're also probably concerned about a little, too is in a come in and let's say at least see plays half the season again.
Still not draft herbal guy.
But when in terms of to a comes in starts, what do you expect him to? Uh, I mean to has been a guy coming off injury wasn't a big rusher in his career, and I don't certain to be a big rusher in his no NFL court and me.
Last year, he had 340 yards in 9 340 yards in his career and nine touchdowns and three seasons or 2.
5 seasons at least, are two seasons in my game.
Does he play the national championship? So he isn't gonna be a big runner? Begins in the game, though.
I mean, he's been a low touchdown by 11 intersection Guy 11 and been touched down in Big Garbage, and that could pass her kind of type.
He could still be successful Year one, and he And if he gets the starting job, I would definitely want to see if I could pick him up on my team at some point in the season because he could be end up being really strong candidate over all his love.
The deep ball is that good Rockets, even for the people, and you just really can't hate on that overall.
So both these quarterbacks not draft herbal, but there will tell you now they're gonna be someone Start herbal during the season for you this year.
So going to run game camouflage, vile hat.
Gaskins and Patrick Lord.
I'll tell you right now, guys, not worthy dropping.
Even in the 16 men we got, probably 11 Any of these players, even Patrick Leahy art.
If even in that PPR extend full PPR gain, these guys are gonna be backups.
And probably some of them won't even make the roster.
But we'll go right to the main two guys that many people probably wondering.
When do I take the Miami Dolphins duo round eight? I think that's a pretty several time to take these guys right now.
We'll sort of map Brita and memory toe.
You know, explosion kind of guy.
A man can break away from any run.
He's gonna be the lightened Jordan, Jordan, The Howards Thunder.
Uh, you know, you know, he was a top 25 back just two years ago in 2018.
I mean, 800 urine for 800 yards on like, hobbling legs lashed in that year on.
And he's dealt with injury, unfortunately, his career.
But you give the guy the ball any time during the season, he's gonna take one to the house, and I think he can.
And that's kind of what you expect from a guy like Matt Breed, a guy who has a home run threat room and, you know, he was top 10 last year and home on break runs back to back seasons, actually, and that often is going to get created.
And he, I think, is an RB Lohan RB three with upside, and I'm not thrilled with the up size.
And, uh, yeah, I don't not throw with the upside, but he's gonna have games where he breaks one for, like 80 yards and a touchdown.
Absolutely, but don't rely on to do that on a consistent basis.
I don't think he's going to.
I think he's gonna see like 7 to 8 carries, 7 to 10 carries a game and maybe overall 15 15 touches again.
I think he's gonna be used in situations.
They're gonna help the team out.
In general, I don't know if he's going to be a true guy.
Was going to be a top tier fantasy running back.
So when you draft him, I think he's at 9 10 range and as your are before the throne in there in certain weeks, especially when there's a good matchup.
Yeah, that's that's kind of what you're getting with Matt.
So, uh, with Jordan Howard, though, he's gonna be more that consistent.
Week, the week factor.
And I think there were teams.
The offensive line has gotten a little better.
Still not that great, but gun better.
And no, don't get drunk, Howard.
I mean, such an underrated guy.
I mean, he's only 25 years old.
Fourth most rushing yards since 2016.
I mean, three solid years in Chicago, fortunately, regressed every year in Russia, both in the Eagles and was an RV 15 on was definite better in standard.
So if you have a standard league, he's definitely a solid RB three or four. And standard.
His weakness is obviously the passing game and meaning that 14 targets last year.
It's kind of think what may be met.
Farida sees most of his opportunity, but when it comes to Howard, I mean, you're looking for that people that touchdown upside he may not have.
He may have 100,000 yards this season.
He could have 1000 yards, but you shall we get six rushing touchdowns last year, Caleb Lodge, their gold lying, I guess you could say had 26 red zone attempts.
That was like for the That was for a second best in the league and give during Howard those more fishing runner he could see 10 questions.
You could see 800 yards and 10 touchdowns this season and via, Ah, pretty solid RB three for you in fantasy of issue.
And that's kind of what I'm predicting for joint.
How it is to be the RV three a little bit lower on because of the people.
There's no cash ability to his game, but the touchdowns could end up saving him to be that kind of RB three.
He may be at somewhat of a touchdown dependent kind of running back and which probably he will be.
So that's kind of what you look at him around eight around nine, I think, is your best in error for my life.
Drawing Howard this year in fantasy and going over to the wide receivers.
Definitely an interesting option.
Obviously, he's one of the two people that people are like shooting up the boards for without our Western and Allen Hurns opting out for the season.
I mean, big speed playability guy coming off injury, though he's really good on special teams.
I don't know how much will be used.
Obviously result in 2018 it was that he a couple of balls, The house.
I think he may be a dinosaur DFS kind of darling and kind of just, Ah, break out Kennedy.
And that sends to be little big game because you know he's not too catches 100 yards.
It's gonna happen at times.
Probably I wouldn't expect him to be a consistent fantasy option this year because he is used on special teams a lot.
So when it comes to the King Grant, uh, he isn't someone you'd want to consider unless his note And let's say, you know, I just don't see his role changing that much.
To be that consistent of a player with the other three that we're gonna talk about at some point today.
He's like I said in R B seven.
No, no, on a wide receiver, 75 Maybe with that upside, but not someone you're gonna rely on a week a week basis.
Hey, Jim, what's going on, guys, Um, that's really say.
What about King Grant, as they afford is definite.
Selling hole I've been following over my careers in Miami has been kind of on the practice squad seventh round pick in 2017 and again he was solve this Virginia Tech really great route running ability, didn't have the ability and like things that he lacking, where drops and speed.
So those air traffic really big things that are enough food for wide receivers.
But I had two shot to make team this year now, and, uh, you know, he showed top 40 receiver over the last four games last year after all the injuries took over and they are completely playing time.
There's a shot that he sees someone of a a decent production this year, maybe a top 50 wide receiver.
It's real possible.
Maybe I'm shooting.
I look a little bit on that, but it's possible again.
Not a guy here drafting in this year's draft.
He's probably gonna be a bye week replacement waiver wire pickup midseason if something would have happened to the starters, but if one of those starters go down before, it could be a star in the making.
But until that happens, he's taken on draft a guy pressing Williams and not feeling overly about past present Williams.
I mean, Guy was undrafted guy last year at a Colorado State.
I mean nasty and he had 60 targets throughout nine weeks.
Uh, he was their best wide receiver at that time.
Unfortunately, a C L to poor and then with all the Monty Parker after there.
But he had a horrible country in a 53% catch.
Cherie and I think what to do with the quarterback situation member Drunk Frozen was quarterback for half the season, basically of his season.
At least I was really active in the red zone.
99 targets last year and reports Are these healthy? And you saw? I don't know if you saw online, but, you know, I mean, that one had to catch in practice today.
He could be someone, and that is definitely zone.
And hey, thanks for the follow. Appreciate it.
He's definitely a wide receiver for right now in drafting, and you should be your fourth wide receiver with that upside the beam.
Or and he could definitely be more.
I mean, 60 targets half the season, double it, you know, one 120 targets that there could easy understanding targets.
It's possible, definitely possible.
With just team the throwing ability they're gonna probably throw and not having Josh Rosen in there for half that for five games last year. Absolutely.
But don't overshoot your shot.
I think he's that, you know, 11 12 range kind of guy.
And he's definitely someone you want a target and draft, because he could have been having a really good fantasy season this year.
He's a really talented wide receiver.
Just getting I just need to stay healthy this year is that has, you know about a C L tears and both knees.
One high school, one in college, one now, at least.
So that's a little concern.
So that's why you have a double digit rounds of hope that he can kind of shoot up a little bit.
Devante Parker way.
Don't know that on the park your five break out.
I mean, he's been He struggled a place like 16 games throughout his career.
He dealt with no Ryan Tannehill, Jay Cutler, Matt Moore on, of course, that in gaze on and finally away from that first half of the season, you know, he was Solly wasn't a bad the wide receiver, people saying now he didn't do anything. He did something.
He wasn't the horrible wide receiver, but he was productive not to what you're liking was what he did in the second half, but still productive, obviously. No. The second half.
He just dumb and he and was averaged five more fantasy points a game.
I mean, the average 10 targets almost every game, you know, highly ranked in touchdowns, yards, air, yards, deep targets.
And that's what he was.
You know, he's a deep target guy coming out of college, and, you know, he had also had a poor catch rate.
And could you know Dreyfuss Patrick into a making better? Absolutely.
He could continue the street.
I could see him having another 1200 season.
Thanks for the tip. I appreciate that.
And he's being so devalued right now on fantasy, and I get why you? No one year wonder kind of thing.
It's possible, Absolutely possible.
I'm a Dolphins fan, so it's definitely possible.
It's it's opportunity him not do it again.
This 100% there.
But you're going to get this guy and right around seven around eight.
Probably run seven right now and drafts and as your wide receiver three. Possibly.
I'm real excited about a guy like who's gonna probably see a big target lewd once again this season, with all these people opting out in the Dolphins receive. Report.
He's definitely someone I'm willing to take a shot on and hold for big production cause that he could definitely do it.
And then last but not least, my Kosecki.
We just talked about him in our tight end podcast tonight, and I have high.
I mean, he saw his targets jump from 32 to 89.
Last year was a top 10 tight end down the stretch last year, especially unfortunately, that repressive Williams went down.
You know, the team was the fourth most passing place last year, and they're probably continue to be a top 10 plastic playthings.
No, it only saw 15% of the target shares.
I could see that rise next year, but he's into being an offense where Ryan Fitzpatrick gonna be Aaron, the ball out downstairs.
Michael Sekiyu was a guy who's athletic, can get down the field, can do things after the catch, for sure.
Oh, are you know, to is gonna go in and to Will is really productive with college with tight end in college.
I mean, the one year he was a full starter.
I mean, he had, Ah, Earth Smith Jr like 700 yards and seven touchdowns, so my Kosecki could definitely build on all phone this and waiting for this there.
Next great tight end to kind of rise up the boards now.
It could be that guy this year, and I'm not mad about it all.
If you're going to get this guy, I'm high on really high on him, and I'm just saying it's a Dolphins fan.
He's someone I've been targeting a lot of dynasty leagues, but in the redraft this year, you're getting McKusick Ian around 10 11 12.
And you should be happy at that point to get a guy who's got upside in his game there to see another big season this year.
And you're giving in a measure tried in one and Brown 12.
So when it comes to my Kasicky, if you see him there in 10 11 12 it's time to get him and put him on the team because you're 10 players and already had Coop What's going on and shouldn't look back.
This defense is still not the best, and they're gonna be thrown the ball still this season, and he could well see sustained usage of targets but of inefficiency with the Stargates.
And you can definitely do that.
And five touchdowns could be somewhat even 10 touchdowns next year.
And that's kind of what you're getting from my kasicky getting a guy who was a borderline tight and one who could be an actual tight end one this coming season and people with me like, Well, this he's the next good tight end could be coming up again.
There's some risk, but he could see that.
And that's what you're getting in rump.
Well, they're not around seven or eight like I would want to take him.
I would want to take him there, but you're getting him in around 12.
And that's where the good value is for a guy like Mike.
A second, his upside fantasy this year.
So the Dolphins thing, I said, There are a lot of up and down players who could be big breakouts and and it's really possible again this season.
So get them at their values again.
Parker and they're seven.
Precedent, 13 Kosecki and 12 powered and eight breeders in 10.
Fitzpatrick undrafted these great values for players right now on this team who don't underestimate them from having a good fantasy season.
So, uh, that is the end of my episode.
