What is going on? Everybody.
It is Tuesday's league.
Logan and Nathan here.
Um, ****, what a day. A basketball.
It's still going on here, but these games are pretty unimportant.
But holy ****, Damian Lillard sticks one points Glazers live to see another day.
What your first thought after seeing my performance.
I mean, just this was one of the best performances, like single game performances I can remember in such a long time, just Damian and the bubble has been just ridiculous, like he's averaging over 38 games and just completely just below that, he has averaging the most minutes novel.
J. McCollum is the second below that.
These guys are just putting out, um, claw their ways of a C is really amazing.
And, um, I think now they're in the position to control their own destiny when it comes Teoh making the play in game that potentially get in as the eight seed.
So just washout league, because the placers are a scary team.
Yeah, and so if the Blazers do win their next game, they're automatically in the plan.
Um, and if the Grizzlies lose in the book is when than the Blazers have.
That eight C, um later will break down all those scenarios for you.
But for now, I just want to talk a little bit more about you know what we saw it about? Not just out of Dame, but the rest of blazers tonight.
And you know what? They could do it.
A potential first round playoff match of first the Lakers.
McCollum was really bad tonight, really uncharacteristically poor.
I mean, have every so often he has those games where he just can't hit a wall.
He wasn followed trouble pretty early and throughout the whole game two.
And so just a really poor performance from heaven.
But Melo stuffed up big, and I remember, um, probably three or four, maybe around a month ago, going into the bottle, and I'd really like to see Melo succeeded.
I don't think he has it him.
I totally missed the bone that Melo has been absolutely fabulous and **** near every game.
He's been ending his threes.
He's been playing some good perimeter defense and just it seems like every every game it's crunch time.
He's sitting a three with two minutes left.
He's sitting at 3 50 seconds left.
He's making big shots.
So has been incredible.
And I'll be the first to admit that I was wrong about him.
And he he has just been fabulous.
Yeah, I think one thing that we talked about is that Bella has been much better on defense than we thought he'd be making him, like, way more playable.
And I thought it was interesting.
In the second half day, Zach Collins was involved.
So they slowed Carmelo Anthony at the four.
He think you did a pretty good job, especially against Maxie.
Quicker imports ingots, which is a large duo.
I'm he kind of held his own, although I know a person gets started Tash fire in the third quarter and, uh um, Maxie Clippers able to hit a couple of shots from the corner three.
But overall, I thought it was pretty good.
And like you said, Carmelo has been really hitting big spot up threes, event of the fourth quarter and a really big part of the Rockets explaining the trouble.
Is there success? But you know today, like Carmelo had 26.
But besides that, you know little.
It was pretty much without about not by much help there.
Zach Collins and very trying.
Both had 11 points, but you know, like you said, C.
J. McCollum didn't have a good game.
So it's just remarkable with me.
Um, I know it's a couple times, actually on um, plays where **** came around in Dirks nurtured screen that nervous kind of uses is like a left side of his body almost forced.
Tim, our engineer.
Whatever the thunder is coming around that curl into a little bit.
Lillard isn't like most players who you know, take a dribble or have, like, get information.
If they pull up, he can pull up just directly after us, to me and towards the basket.
And he was able, I think, to get to the line on threes.
At least three or four.
I think he had 12 points off, followed three pointers.
That game was just incredible to see by chemistry between nervous and mode and like I don't even consider a cheap play, it's just really, really good basketball chemistry and nervous was just able to utilize his body so well, almost screened and games so quick off of it so I mean, if your defender coming over the top of screen, you gotta be careful.
I mean, you can't go underneath, screens out, Damien, and if you go over the top, you can't follow him.
So it's really, really hard to guard aim when he's hitting and that most of time lately.
So, um, I wouldn't want to be Lakers.
I know, man, I would not want Oh, I would not want to be kcp your Caruso coming around that screen having toe, haven't getting dames face and avoid following of that's That's gonna be a tough situation.
Yeah, And before we didn't get to the Lakers match, potential Lakers match up, which I'm definitely worried about, One thing I just want to talk about was just like the just the ways that Damian Lillard is scoring.
Like I think one thing that we really noticed this game is that person gets had a really hard time in the pick and roll guarding him, especially when markets was screening.
They're Dejan only I think have four points and kind of fouled out midway through the fourth quarter.
But just the chemistry that him and Damian Lillard have just they've been being a threat both from three and being able to drive to the basket.
It's such a beautiful combination.
Like I remember there was this one play where Lillard literally shook, I think, Hardaway out of his shoes and then pours, I guess was at the free throw line.
Just not up enough given ah, Damon's rage.
Hey, just splashing three.
This face that I think give him 49 then, ah, you know, a couple and then a possession later came down and got to the free throw line, his 50th points, and I was just such a good representation of you know how ready to score little It was tonight.
And, uh, you know, this is a 2nd 50 point game in a row.
It's just remarkable Wednesday that one shot that he had, I think two hit 61 when it bounced her enough.
A backfire, concealing.
Have you ever seen anything like that cause I've gone similar things in an open jam or it's like, Okay, it's like kind of a small bounce off the back are but
