I was so good but the all right? I said we're live right now.
What is going on? Everybody.
Luckily, we were full figure out how to make this thing work.
But no, usually no beginning of my street.
That usually way to some people.
I hung out for my life.
Usually I wait for someone Some people come on to still get a few doors.
But you know what? We'll just start right out from the bat ways.
Make sure you guys give me a follow on Instagram, I hope set out.
I post all of these interviews that I've done here on SportsCastrs.
So maybe if you guys are showing up late or you're leaving early and I really want to watch the whole stream this year you missed and do yourself a favor and follow my instagram I hoops fl so you could watch all the highlights already there.
You could see all the other people I've interviewed, you know, Maybe maybe could see I posed himself my favorite rapper.
Sometimes you no got.
I've got to keep the people updated, you know, whatever.
Where I feel makes you guys follow that I hoops fl also, If you want to read any of the articles that I've written for company down here in South Florida that can all be found on my Twitter I hoops recruits.
But anyways, let's get right.
Is interview so well how you been, man? And what's what's the deal of your computer? Okay.
It was Yes, it was on mute away way. I'm great.
Are you? Yeah, I'm pretty good.
Thanks for asking.
I ask Otto, I've got a quick, like, light question.
Your bio says up dialect.
So you a big, big Cardiff in? Yeah, I actually used to be, but I think it's more so just ah, the messages in More like having fun, not thinking about waiting but things.
But that's just more so. Having fun.
I get all you got me in card.
I mean, he's already all right.
I mean, like, I guess I'm comin family like it's all a bit woozy fan.
So I mean, you know, I don't wanna root for the to at some point, but, you know, I mean, he brought you know, I don't know what that means up to.
To be honest, I think I think a lot of red that I said, I think it's gonna be like I think it's gonna be like a banger that, like the bottom.
I think a lot of people, I think business it's business like you do a bottom purpose.
Yeah, that's what I That's where I think.
So, how is this Your season? Um, it was actually it went great.
Uh, we made it to reading Championship.
And then we made it all the way to the Elite eight, but we lost the cow.
But overall, it was like a really good said proceeding for my team.
You know what? Ah, what sort of teams are in your district or I don't know, District A region I don't know really how they do it in Georgia.
That's the same as any other prop teams that we know about the season.
I don't know if you know, but Cedar shows they made it to on the state championship, but they lost, but we beat them in a region championship.
Um, a couple other teams that they're pretty good, but I think we have the hardest region before, but amazing to see change.
That's what makes you reading what made your region the hardest reason.
If you guys got teams like Grayson over there in the area and make each earned, but so but they're not in your didn't all right? No.
So, I mean, those are pretty much those orders schools that the average, I guess high school basketball family know about so tells wiser.
I think we have a lot of, you know, Georgia basketball is like, I think, one of the best basketball states and in the country.
So I think every our reason we have a lot of very players, you know, going Division one divisions who and, you know, they're making it all the way.
Far state tournament.
So Special Art region.
So I think us beating them shows a lot of what we could have done and went further into the state championship.
So that says a lot right there.
And obviously I'm a South Florida guy, So I really know what the judges Georgia, I want that I don't know how the Georgia basketball tournaments and, uh, all the end of the year stuff works, So just explain to me so you fish in the elite eight, right? Yes, sir.
So what is that? Because you're also show you how it works down here.
So pretty much you have a district has, like, 46 teams.
And then if you were in your district, or if you lose anyhow, like a pretty good record, then you probably get into your region.
I thought, if you in your region, then you're, like in the Final Four.
For states without the same way it works in Georgia is a little bit different.
Uh, well, how where's here is like, if your region or what you make it on your region, you get a higher seat in the state tournament in the panel.
How you didn't of seizing the higher seed you get in the state tournament.
Or if you don't do good, it all.
You don't even make it to the States.
So but I think there's, like, 32 teams in the state home.
Okay, But it's only 32 teams as per class, right? You have a whatever.
Yeah, that makes ah, it makes a lot of sense.
Um, were you guys playing at where they held the state tournament? Did you? Oh, no, no, there's a different location.
So hours years eso we we played our 1st 2 games in the state tournament our view for So I guess it just depends on where the locations.
All right? Yeah, that, uh, I starts pretty good to me now.
I mean, Georgia is a really, really talented state.
We said that earlier, and I understand that you are one of Georgia, the toughest guards.
So being a garden, when you gotta have a lot of leadership skills, you know what? Um, put your team had run the offense.
Ah, you know, make sure guys are open, do all that stuff.
And now they're coming into your junior and senior years.
So what are you trying to get done for your team, And how are you gonna leave them? So, uh, well, this year, I definitely want a running back with region. Definitely.
When that aspect and and make it all the way.
Tuesday and Wednesday, personally.
And a refreshment of sop****re year.
Where you still one of the leaders on our team? Or were you kind of taking, um or, uh, quite a role? I guess, uh, sop****re, you actually started the entire season s O that this this year was definitely a leader.
And then freshman year.
But we No, I definitely had to take a couple steps back because we had a cup yet two or three division Where, uh, high level, Division one players.
Ah, couple detail players.
So it was my role, you know, watch. Learn.
Because I know that she was gonna be my here.
So it was more of a learning asked first when you and those Division one guys that you talked about in your freshman year are there anybody that you think I would know that the viewers were? No, probably.
Maybe Marcus Watson.
What? What? What's against Chelsea at? He was I Oklahoma State that he transferred to New Mexico State will be playing their next year.
I mean, what were you Were you having a guard them and go up against them in practice and stuff? Yeah, and they made it up on me.
Yeah, I know you're a small guy, too.
So are actually how tall you exactly.
I saw my you know, a scouting report about you and I said that your problem is your high I mean, I'm not I'm not even Ah, I think I think I might have.
My license says six feet.
I'm, like, 5 11.
5 right? That sort of that same thing for me.
So what was like, going up against Those are really, really Ah, tall guys and ah, high major D one guys as a fresh And it was definitely a challenge.
But, you know, I like challenges, So it was definitely a It was a political experience.
Um, I've been planning installer do with my whole life, so that was really phase gandal, but, um, that for the competition part of that.
Yeah, I really like that.
So And it seems like you do go to a pretty good program that has had a lot of success, but is there any chance you might end up transferring for one of your future years of high school? Um, I don't I don't think so.
Uh, I've been a beautiful for a while now.
Uh, one thing I know for one thing I've learned loving her is that they care about their players.
They're definitely to get there, but better and just become a better person overall.
And that's the only thing I care about and get it to the next level, for sure so and see it to that next level.
I'm sure you gotta work on a lot of different skills and moves in a lot of stuff.
So what types of moves are you working on right now? More so, uh, finishing my shooting.
So I I'm sure I have Ah, pretty strong finishing waas.
But, you know, getting better with my one shot every day.
I still go this summer.
And you told me how are actually you even tell you? Tell me this, but you see how that UBL season was canceled? I mean, that's what we all knew.
So you ended up playing for, ah, team ****erson.
It's called right.
And so you ended up playing 14 ****erson, since there was no y Bol season, how is that all able to work out some? I actually, my friend reached out to the coach for me because me and we played together back when we were younger.
So he was like, All right, let's get like it, just do over.
So we got that dying and I've been playing the last u turns with them.
It's been going good.
I'm playing with coming up at eight point.
That's gonna be a pretty good starting me, uh, get a couple college coaches, uh, on me against.
And you said that you and your friend and, uh, make a pretty good duo.
What was he playing with you in high school? Are Did you go to different middle school with me? Uh, we used to play on again.
I've known him for a long time now, Do you think he's somebody you might end up teaming up with in college? Or maybe down the road in high school, too, if that's what the future holds.
Alright, sounds ah.
Sounds pretty good to me.
So what do you like most about playing on you? Ibl? Definitely competition.
You know, you have to play your highest level every every single game.
There's no there's no slacking at all.
So that that aspect definitely, uh, else we get better and definitely challenged me for sure.
And what if some of those Atlanta tournaments been like I mean, we got the tip off classic And who want to smoke? I mean, there's been a lot of really, really good tournaments in the Atlanta area, pretty much you like.
If you want to watch a good high school basketball, just come to Atlanta for now because that's Ah, that's Ah, that's the move for the time being.
So what of all those recent tournament's been like for you? You know, it's all competition everybody enjoyed.
He wants to compete.
I feel like and like I said before, I think Georgia's best fastball in the nation.
So it's all about could be.
And I guess, have they been fun for you or just Oh, yeah, we're doing a good job.
Is talking about, like, not a little more this for you personally.
So definitely I was definitely find, uh, I did. I did.
Okay, you know, being this new team I've been playing with trying to use all the players and stuff because she's goes out.
But overall, I did.
I did well do, Uh and which one do you think was your favorite so far? Uh, should I couldn't probably this Maybe last weekend.
It was on the radar.
Ah, little showcase that we just had.
But I like all the league points.
Little showcase way isn't is all the way that the one with like, Atlanta Celtics.
All that stuff was that.
Yeah, that's not a little showcase.
Everybody like the whole nation that was going on my writing.
That's that's not Ah, you know, start my guy the way Did you end up playing Atlanta Celtics? No, we didn't.
It was how it worked with you.
Just played two games, and that's what they gave up. Just two.
Okay, I know, I know.
There was, like, the who wanted with them more than, like, two biggest tournaments going on our showcases the same time, I think, Yes.
What were you guys in? We're definitely one with the Anasazi.
So you just played it earlier in the mornings that they play later and not, you know? Yeah.
Do you want Do you have, like, flying early in the morning? I mean, if I got a play on my produce either way, yeah, I feel let's talk about producing.
So we know that your high schools produced guys that have gone a high major programs, But for whatever reason, why me? I'm just a surprise, because you probably are.
You got a zero division one offer So why do you think you're being so overlooked? Uh huh.
Uh, I don't know, but, uh, you know, I just focus on getting better every day, you know, work on my craft.
Uh, not wearing too much about that, because I know it's gonna come.
But yes, it is more about just getting better, man.
Uh, you know, I know that's that's gonna come.
Yeah, because because you're saying I don't know why.
I mean, I'm looking to play, Do you ibl You play in a good high school, so I don't really know why either, to be honest, but let's stop talking about having zero.
Division one offers what? Schools haven't shown interest in you so so far since eighth grade when I was playing you.
Have you, uh, Xavier reached out to me.
Um, Tennessee State, the shots.
I mean, border go coz George ST, South Alabama.
Columbia schools like that.
You got so obviously Are you really good at school then? Two because we got Colombia.
Not Yeah, I believe I have a three point right now.
Like I don't know, understand? What? Like that I'd be so first like it's not.
It wasn't like it was a got eggs.
A viewer was the first school to reach out to you to like I never understood some of these players that I talked to on these interviews.
Like, I get so surprised people more about them, to be honest, right? And we said, We know, we know you're elite when you need to pay for a mix tape.
So way talked about a talking without stare.
Do you know? Do you know what schools might be offering? You are really soon.
Which one would be talking to you a lot more half? Uh, I'm not too sure about that right now.
Just focus on playing get a show on my show talent and all these terms coming up, and we'll see whoever you are with me.
And after those previous tournaments were, were any schools I am hitting off.
The Navy results you before like, hey, we watched you play like, keep it up or anything like that Genesee ST, uh, Tennessee State and, uh, Colombia and stop Alabama.
And, uh, that that airfield may be reassuring knowing that there's still on there still always there for you, like they reached out to you earlier on, they were still making sure they focused on you at a tournament for store.
And, um, my final question is, what are your goals for life? Cool.
I like, uh, my main goal.
It's just, you know, be about a person every day.
Be a better play every day, better student in the classroom.
All that comes together, I think my life on the street Do you know if basketball maybe happens toe not work out anything like that? Really Know what career you might want to be Definitely in the training aspect, having that, you know, knowledge for basketball right now.
That small knowledge I have right now, But I feel like I can carry it on teach other cases my for cheating, the kids, hoping on the kids.
And let's talk about maybe training in that stuffy brother ended by me, and I got another question.
So work about training and builder Abascal knowledge.
How do you think you've been ableto to do that? So my dad, uh, playing in the NBA, uh, teaching me all this knowledge and stuff, I feel like I've gained a lot of knowledge and that aspect and training me, I can take those drugs.
He thought me, uh, so are the kids and all my trainers in the past, I've drained me right now.
Just take all of that.
Just teach other kids.
And you just said that your dad played in the N B A.
I mean, we see the main factor.
That was the main reason why you started playing basketball.
Probably, uh, do you think you play similar to him at all? I do and therefore maybe any sort of, Ah, a sort of pressure knowing that he's made it to the top level.
No, I just I just other compression about this other, any other, any sort of people that he may know that have also helped you out throughout your career so far. Definitely.
Uh, and the job job aspect where he taught and trained on a lot of people.
Definitely coaches, which he introduced me to translate, introduced me to put me on that.
So I had that, and he's not.
He's not a failure or coach right now, is he? Is.
But which one? Well, yes, I owned.
And he trains like kids like around. He's like Loki.
So is he also your trainer as well? No.
Is that how come you're all your dot train? You so questions? Because he's got a possible No, out of that.
I mean, our whole thing.
I kind of think of us May, because I know sometimes don't play with my brother.
Think that I mean, it just feels a lot worse, Probably on the kid.
You know, if the some of that you know, in law of its kind of standing some things like bringing down it's kind of like keep family a family.
And then I guess everything else could be whatever.
Now, before you call the show, is there anything you want a plug or anybody want shot out? You You know, it's not something, you know, doing this interview, you know, I'm definitely shot to all instagram, but I love oh, man ways Got a glimpse of the good part two.
I don't know what the deal is.
I'll wait till we get to 18 minutes.
If not that, I was dropping the show on my own.
Luckily we were able figure everything out.
That's Ah, that's pretty good.
All right, we got fume.
Or, uh, you're actually what we'll be want 18 minutes, 15 seconds in case so I'll give my own shot out to you guys.
Tune and Chatham Aboya.

We did a pretty fire show together.
I have to admit, I show what heart.
Uh, make sure you guys watch hype sports network.

You call it right in the beginning.
Thank you for what you doing.

It means a lot having you call my show.
And, uh, I mean, you're a smart guy.
You got your doubted connections.
You convert, you know, you want to do baskets and work out.
So it just seems like all success is going to come your way, and it's just a matter of time is up to God.
Uh, but real quick.
