Welcome to Episode 35 of Jesse Sports Show in Today I open up show by talking about the Toronto Maple Leafs win against the combo SBU Jackets last night.
So I was broadcast in that game for a little bit.
But then I stopped it because my computer died.
It was too bad that I couldn't finish that broadcasters.
It was such a great game, but whatever.
Anyway, though with the so the Maple Leafs won 4 to 3.
And over time, as you guys probably know against the Blue Jackets.
And now there will be a Game five tomorrow to decide that series.
It's meant for easy series so far, and I was just so surprised that the meat blues you don't got one.
Once they got one, I was thinking, Well, they're not gonna get any third to the game.
It's gonna be free to one just like what happened.
Sometimes teams down by multiple goals, they get one and then they don't come back and win.
But then I was just really surprised when I saw the meat.
Police want this, but obviously they got to go down when you're five or if they don't go running five.
Then all of this happened game for both matter.
So I feel like they're gonna lose the in front because I think the Blue Jackets are gonna be very motivating after such a tough loss like this.
But I also could see the other side of this argument because the maybes have so much momentum now because they got a huge comeback.
And now they're kind of together as a team because it was, like, just unseen and come back.
I believe it was three goals in a span of three minutes and 30 seconds, and then I was like, There's no way they're gonna win enough sheet and Austin Matthew scores.
And that was really surprised.
I don't think anyone saw that coming and going forward rallied Blue Jackets Coach must be so mad.
Uh, right now we're after the game ended.
He must have been so bad.
And I don't know, I think that the Blue Jackets will win me in five, but it would be crazy if they make the Senate winning the Siri's.
It will go down as one of the biggest choke jobs in the history of the NFL on a travel playoffs.
by the Blue Jackets because you have a three goal lead and all you have to do is just play solid defense and stop.
A few shots basically almost sunk us.
How to do was just stop, at least at least like five out of seven thoughts.
Anyone's three good? I don't know if it was a exactly seven shots, not last 3 30 minutes of the third period.
There's probably more, but they just got to play that your defense.
Where's Linkous? Has to step up and make stopped.
It's three to nothing in all.
Like I said, all they ever do is dump it down the ice.
Ah, a lot and they win this game.
Just don't let in three goals and they some how bout of three goals.
And that just surprised me.
I don't know how the Blue Jackets blue that I was thinking.
There is no way that the Blue Jackets end up losing this game, and then the Maple Leafs win it, and I'm like, Wow, cause I stopped the broadcast when it was the lead of one or free nothing.
Yes, it just turned 31 and then my computer died, so I had to stop the broadcast, and then they and I heard they scored again and I was like, What is going on? And then they scored against 33.
So me, please, fans supposed to be so happy.
But if the May believe, scarred and blow it Indian five, that would be very tough for the fans to shake because they just have section electrifying went and then toe losing in finals would be very tough.
So they have to win.
It's because this came for Yeah, I will still be remembered and stuff as one of the greatest comebacks in a single game in in show history for, like the playoffs.
Even though if the qualifying round it still can be considered playoffs.
But if they lose, then the significance of that come back goes down significantly.
Because you could say, Well, they didn't end up one of the Siri's like maybe the Border 73 9 season is of example care.
This is more of a drastic example, but they go 73 9 That's still remember.
It is the best regular season MBA history, but they didn't finish the drop.
They blew a 31 lead something Sim with that, but not to that extent.
Could have happened to the Leafs if they end up losing him. Five.
Which I think will happen.
I think the Blue Jackets, Whitney of five rebound to take the Siris in five.
And now I'm going to discuss Where did this come back by? The May believes rank among all single game playoff number.
Some stand like a playoff except Pack and Drug years.
So you guide the San Jose Sharks in Vegas a couple nights.
Game seven of I believe first around last year.
Yes, it was the first round.
It was three to nothing.
Vegas, I think with, like eight minutes to go.
And then there's that five minute major were cut.
Sure, I believe it was Urbano profile.
Skin was gets injured, and then the sharks from back home went so yeah, that was a three day off and come back and I was crazy.
But this was also three.
Now come back in.
The Sharks scored those three goals in a span of about eight minutes, I believe, but the make believe scored the goals in a span of about three minutes, three minutes in there in seconds.
So I think that edges of that come back and is a little bit better.
You know, you got the Game seven Bruins and Maple Leafs where AH, it was 4 to 1 Bruins, but 13 minutes to go.
I think that is probably the best financial history and maybe a little bit biased because I'm a Bruins fan.
But it's crazy how the May believes Polar Rivers Bruins against the Blue Jackets.
So, yeah, I think it.
I think it's like one of the top five comebacks here in an actual history, like single game comebacks.
I don't know, because, like, there's a lot of comebacks that I'm forgetting, probably you're here.
I'm trying to look through some combat right now, but yeah, this is just insane.
Come back and it's probably a top five single game and your shop laughs.
Come back in history of the NFL playoffs and come back like that and we'll see the box for hero quick.
So it was 3/2 in blue jackets in the third period.
Blue Jackets got one goal in the third to go up three. Nothing.
But then the neighbors went on a rampage all of a sudden with three minutes left.
So first I believe it was Neil Anders Gordon, a scramble in front of the net to make it 31 and then tovarich scores and is 32 with like 50 seconds left.
And then and then Austen Matthews.
Actually, often Matthew scored no T but then Zakheim and scores Italians.
I don't know how much seconds were on the clock when Hyman did score.
Are they white? Hyman tied it, and then Mac used up the game winner in overtime to defeat the blue jacket.
So tomorrow they play, I believe, at seven o'clock Eastern time, and it will begin five of this law from anywhere in Siris.
When you are a loser, go home and then the winner will go to the actual energy playoff.
But like that's just unseen.
I'm half rooting for the Leafs, but I'm half wording for the blue that's here because now that the least made that come back, I'm kind of rooting for the Leafs a little bit more than I would have that comeback happening.
But like I kind of want to see a Berman's need police matchup, even though I think the main police would be harder to be than the Blue Jackets I form a c.
A very entertaining Bruins make least matchup, but I also want Bruins to have an easier path.
I think I probably want the Mabel used to winning in five, and I'll probably broadcast that I'm right now between the maid lied and blue jackets.
But yeah, I mean, it's just been a great series so far.
I just I felt like in Game three I think it waas the make me stars.
Just didn't they born as notice full as they were in their game to Victor, I believe, was it so It's just it's crazy because they just all of a sudden went on a rampage, as I've said with like, three minutes to go and nobody was thinking they were gonna come back and then they come back just I'm a Bruins fan, but I but like, I feel so happy for these fans because they're probably turned off the TV and I like it's over, but then they come back and win it, and that's crazy because I guarantee you that there was, like half a least fans to start it off her TV.
And they were like, It's over where they just stopped watching.
So there's probably a lot that turned author TV.
They go to bed, they wake up and then, like somebody in their house, their friend tells them the Blue Jackets, uh, was lost the lead and then the Maple Leafs one.
That must be an amazing feeling because, like, that's just been seen.
I think this ranks like third among NHL single game NHL playoff comebacks.
I might put it Number one.
There's a lot of come back, some forgetting here, though I can only think of a few.
So there's many, many comebacks that I'm forgetting, So maybe it's lower.
Maybe it's higher on the list, but I would put it like second or third.
I think the best.
Like I said I started.
The show is definitely the Bruins come back down for Guan against the meat, believes in 2013 Game seven of the first room.
Ah, where they did something very similar to the leaves but the Golden Knights comeback.
They're the San Jose Sharks come back against the Vegas Golden Knights and this comeback that the Blue Jackets, uh, heard that the Make Leash made are very similar.
Besides, that was eight minutes to go when the Sharks scored three and rip.
And then they want to know t for three.
So it's very similar after they wonder.
So I think the Sharks come back like this.
I think they scored three in a row to tie, 33 Then Vegas scored.
And then the Sharks scored.
Or could I went like this? They tie it free, free.
And then, ah, Shark scored in Vegas scored than the Shark scored in overtime.
I don't know, but that's it for this topic.
And now, when I come back in about two minutes, as we're about at the 10 minute mark, I will discuss who poses a bigger threat to the Bruins.
The Islanders were the Carolina Hurricanes, so the winner of the Bruins verse Russian and Capitals game, which is tomorrow, plays the Islanders and loser plays the Hurricanes.
It's suddenly gone a lot bigger than it would have been if there was no kind of matchup at stake because it's a very big difference between playing the Islanders and Hurricanes.
I'll talk about that when I come back in about two minutes.
All right, I am back for my next top.
So, by the way, this will probably be maybe a hour long show.
I was originally planning toe.
Ah, have the show go from 3:30 p.m. Eastern.
Five pennies from, but we'll see, uh, I end up doing, But anyway, my next topic is who poses a bigger threat to the Boston Bruins in the central playoffs.
Is it the current on Hurricanes or the New York Islanders? So the New York Islanders are a very good team, and you know they're a big threat.
But I think that the Carl on Hurricanes are a bigger for it because they're kind of a scary teen.
They swept the Rangers, absolutely steamrolled them three nothing in their Siri's.
I think it was three number, but anyway, it was just an absolute bulldozing off the Rangers from the car along.
Hurricanes not scary.
Obviously, The Bruins sweat the Carolina Hurricanes last year in the Eastern Conference finals, but Carolina has pretty much the same Keum, maybe they've even improved a little bit.
So I think that Carolina is a very strong threat.
Bruins, because although I'm not gonna just drugs, the Bruins by the round robin, play in books.
I don't think they've won a game yet.
They lost fairly into Tampa.
I think that's only two games that play it.
Uh, yeah, it could've been three or something, but they haven't even one in the round up and yet, which is a little bit concerning.
But I think once the games actually matter, it'll kind of turn them on the playoffs.
But what just brings the Bruins to a disadvantage here is that they won the president's trophy room with the best team and weak, and then all the momentum is just wiped away from this.
Ah, stoppage from the groan of ours.
And then now there's a huge difference between the teams that already played a Paul Funder and where it was very important hockey.
It was a Siri's to make it into the 16 team playoffs, whereas the Bruins are just.
We've been playing meeting for hockey for a full series and then you got a team like the Bruins who haven't played a very, very meaningful hockey game.
Yet in this, uh and it's a bubble because we're not in games, although they matter, they don't really matter too much.
And if your point, if you're playing in a serious basically a playoff series like the Hurricanes and Young and just were there a few steps ahead of the Bruins, so that's what's concerned, because they just haven't been been playing meaningful honky yet.
And I feel like some of these random out in games are just not fun to watch because it's not meaningful hockey.
But some of its great hunky anyway, though, if the Bruins are completely healthy, so that's a plus.
But if they can't like going on and flip the switch from playing less meaningful ****** to now playing very meaningful hockey, if they're unable to flip the switch there, then they could be in trouble.
So I'm very scared of the broom.
If, well, if I was the brooms, I'd be very scared of the Carolina Hurricanes, because although you could say well, the Bruins on the president's trophy, they're the best team in the league, according toe points and stuff.
None of that matters anymore.
None of that matters.
It's anyone's game that so, Yeah, none of that matters.
And I'd say every other team that's already played in the qualifying round is a step ahead of every team that wasn't playing off fine when I was in just ramrodding.
Although they have a very important game against the Capitals because the winner is gonna play the Islanders, the room's yours. Going by the Hurricanes.
It's still not insanely meaning for hockey.
And even before this game, it doesn't matter because they, like I said, it was no meaningful.
So I think the Hurricanes and Islanders both having a bandage over the Bruins.
But if the Bruins can flip the switch for travel, the they can do, then boom, they can.
They can beat the hard fans in the Islanders.
And let's take a look at the Stanley Cup playoffs bracket here.
What meat for I and get up.
All right, so this is the projected bracket.
So lightning risk Canadians that matchups already set in stone flyers and meet police.
We don't know if that's going to be the matchup, because the corn is blue Jackets could win, and then capitals and Islanders.
So it's projected that the Capitals beat the Islanders.
But if the Bruins convened the capital or know what's project, that the Capitals beat the Bruins on Sunday push tomorrow.
So then the Bruins would play the Hurricanes.
So, yeah, it's just it's not really looking good for the Bruins here because, like I said, I don't drug them completely off their round robin performance.
It's less meaningful honky than they'd have been playing the whole year.
But they need to just flip the switch of meeting if they can't do that.
Like I said, there's not gonna be They're not going to be kind of a threat, because I don't know.
They just they need to just turn it on and start playing very good.
Like their perfection line of Pasternak Martorana Bergeron hasn't really produced anything great.
Their goaltending has been solid, but they just need to play much.
And I think that if they played the Hurricanes, the Hurricanes would be the Bruins of the Siris in a seven game series the first round.
But if they played the Islanders, I think the Bruins with Britain, Siri's and it's just so important because if they play the Islanders and win the first years, then they have a ton of momentum and they already have at least four games and at the maximum seven off meaningful hockey under their belt.
But obviously, right now, as I've been saying, they have zero since they entered the bubble.
So they're just gonna need Teoh do something, do something good here, and they're gonna need to beat capitals.
So this is just a very huge game.
I I think that the Capitals will beat the Bruins, but you guys can let me know what you think in the Trans or you can con when using the number 61799 actually, number 6173213551 Anyway, I'm gonna go to the next topic in a minute, but I just want to get the one more thing on this topic.
So the Bruins had to put her Walken for ah, game or two because Rask kind of wasn't feeling well enough to play or something like that.
But they need a stick with one Goldie here, like in the playoffs, because normally it like you could just not really stick with one, but I feel like they need to stick with one because they can't have because, like the goalie needs toe have Aton of play or not a ton of play.
But he needs to have the most minutes of play under his belt that he can.
But if they're splitting time alike and Rast, then it's half the amount of play that they would normally be getting.
And that's not good.
After a huge, I believe, three months stint.
Is it Eagle May June, yet three months stint of not playing so like they need to have just one goal the year throughout this whole playoffs.
Unless, of course, and angry happens to Raster, an injury happens to relax.
I'd imagine that they definitely go to Rask as their first choice for this playoffs is.
They don't It's just, um, they're definitely going to Rask, but if they kind of do like a box of platoon type of thing that wouldn't work.
They're not going to do that.
They're gonna put in Rask in very just gonna use common sense.
But anyway, let's take another look at this bracket here for the NHL playoffs.
So in the Western Conference, you get Everland from black ****s who are going to be playing.
And I'll actually get into a topic in about five minutes about the Blackhawks and have ABS a que Canadians who are both 12 seeds eso yet.
Anyway, I'm done with this topic and I'm just gonna put a pull up real quick, So I'm gonna eat a her.
I was gonna say, create attribute, Western, but I'm gonna create a pool in.
Just hold on second us an answer it if you want.
What? See? So the question I'm gonna put is who was a bigger threat to burns.
A bigger threat was tightening.
Quick and trivia question are actually poll question will be up in a minute.
So the Islanders, where the Caroline? All right, so you guys can answer the question.
I put a question of last night, but no one answered it.
I'd like to see a few people answering this.
Anyway, I am gonna put 60 seconds as the duration on the question are It's so the poll question is out.
I'm pretty short.
Just pops up on the screen.
I don't know for sure you might have to press the little trivia icon.
I'm pretty sure it was attributed Gone for you guys unless it's just there for me.
There must be trivia.
I can, I don't know for sure, but anyway, there should be a way.
Uh and so the triple question.
I think it might be on the side of your screen near the Shatt on the right side of your screen.
You would just press it and then you can answer the drivel.
Question number is gonna wait for answers from this trivia question, and then I'll go on with my next topic.
But, well, I'm waiting for the last 20 seconds on the trivia question to expire.
Or I can call it for the question.
It's a poll question anyway.
The next top, because I have, are about the Marlins, who started the year seven and one, and I have a question about them that I'm going to discuss, and by the way, you can call in with the number 8573213551 I might have said 617 when I first says it said it, Uh, but yeah, Anyway, I haven't made a show in a while, so that's why I'm kind of stumbling a little.
But here nobody answered the tribute question.
It looks like all right, that's fine.
But I think there's a way you can answer it.
I don't know what the way is to answer it, but anyways, I got abode 56 maybe seven more topics to get through here.
And we're about to hit the 24 minute mark.
I'll be back, probably in about three minutes for the rest of my topics, All right, so I'm going to continue the show right next, right here we get.
So the next topic I have here is the Marlins have started the year 71 and the question I have for it is, Can they need the Posies? So the postseason IQ is expanded to 16? Kim's opposed to the regular 10 teams.
I believe it is.
It's something like that.
I think it's 10 yet It's 10 because it's five for each conference.
Now it's now that would be eat free conference.
So, yeah, I mean, the Marlins, Like I said, they started the year seven and one, and that's very unexpected because I believe they have the words Rafter in the lead.
I mean, that's a debate to be made, but I think they have the borough Frost and read, in my opinion, so it's very unexpected.
But when you think about what they've played, the Orioles and who else of the clean just not really any good teams.
I'm gonna look up the schedule real quick and see with their upcoming schedules, because that's very important to their future because they're a bad team.
Like I said, so they can just lose seven in a row.
Easy there, seven and eight below 500.
I think they're probably going to make the playoffs cause it's a 60 m season.
But if this was a 162 game season, no chance they wouldn't be able to maintain Ah, seven and one record, and we'll keep going at that pace for 100 years.
Do games? No way.
This is kind of just a fluke coming.
They've hadn't easy schedule.
That's part of the reason.
Look at who they played, they've played.
Let me look at it really quick.
I They started a G here against the Phillies and they won two out of three, and then they played against the Orioles in a four Ian set.
And then they played against the Mets and they're playing against the Met for the next two games.
And then the Blue Jays and then the Braves, and then the Mets again.
And then the Nationals.
And then the really is.
Then the blue Jay is and then the Phillies, the Braves, the Red Sox, you terrible.
I'm a Red Sox fan.
They're terrible anyway, uh, Nationals again.
And the Braves, then the Yankee is all right.
Yeah, So I don't know, because it's that's, like a pretty hard schedule.
They can in 60 games, seeds and, yeah, I think they could like it's that schedule.
It's Phillies much.
They could be in like they put them to Syriza's.
That's about six grams, 6 to 8 games.
I think they could maybe posted five from the record against them.
Or maybe one game above 500.
Maybe go 532 games above 500 stretches against them.
I'm gonna make a prediction here.
Actually, you know what? It would be too long because I would have to go game by game because I didn't prepare for this.
Yeah, so I'll make a prediction next show, probably.
But yeah, 60 Dempsey is.
And I believe they definitely can't because they're a Brit.
Ah, very solid team.
But yet so I think they can.
And their schedule isn't that hard.
The only very good team they play is the Yankees, and that's the end of the season.
So they're playing the Mets right now, who, well, at 7 10 But they're currently in a series with the Mets for the next two games that we have, which they could win both those.
They won the first game of the three game set, and then they would be eight and one, and then, you would figure, is the next one.
They're eating two through 10 games.
That would put them on a pace to go 48 12 But they're not going 40 12.
The Marlins will not go 40 12.
That would be absurd, but I want to see tomorrow's in the playoffs. That would be insane.
That's the equivalent to like the Cleveland Cavaliers in a 60 in like a condensed like 41 gam M J C is in making the playoffs.
So what's kind of crazy? Well, I don't know. It's kind of crazy.
I think it is crazy because they finished a bad team like in Vienna.
Some of it is because ah, like, yeah, some of it is because other teams have people that tested positive with the Corona virus.
But, I mean, I don't know, because they've played the Orioles and stuff when it's said And have they had anybody just positive the Corn writers? Even if it waas, the Royals have no good players, but yet they play like the Braves and Phillies and Nationals like a time for the rest of the year.
And if if they hypothetically posted a 500 record for the rest of the year there through eight games, they have 52 games left, so that would mean 26 26.
Then they would finish the year with 27 losses in a 33 and 27 record.
So now let's see the MLB standings 33 27.
Would that get them into the playoffs in the 16 game expanded four minutes? Maybe it would obviously we don't know if they're gonna go 33 27.
That's just what they would get if they went 26 26. Thirsty.
The air, which is a 500 record.
So the Marlins are one game ahead of the bridge.
5 ahead of the Philly is Forehead the Nationals and five ahead of the Mets.
So I think they would.
I mean, maybe the Braves would beat the moat, but I think they'd be second in their division.
Yeah, so I mean, I think they could I think they definitely could with a 33 and one is having record.
But I think they have a finished to do better than because, like I said, they're remaining Schedule wasn't heart.
All right, I'm gonna put another poll up.
Hopefully, this, uh, gets answered.
But if it doesn't, then whatever the question for this pool is, will the Marlins make the playoffs? I would really appreciate if you could answer this poll and you don't know how.
Then that's fine.
I don't know how either, because I haven't drawing any breakfast as a viewer with a pole, Uh, ever But anyway, see, so no or yes, are obviously the choices.
Ali question up for 35 seconds, and you could answer it if you would like to.
But yeah, the Marlins at my take is yes, they can.
But will they? I think I don't know.
Half of me thinks no, but I have been, Yeah, they can.
Uh, if I had to make a final prediction, I'd say yes, because the Phillies are bad this year.
Well, we don't know because they've only played, like 15 games or like 11 games.
But they didn't start the year two good seem with the Braves.
So if they could just post five when the records against them and need steal a few series is, then they'll be pretty solid, all right.
Nobody answered the pole, but that's fine anyway.
Yeah, you think the monuments could definitely the playoffs and let's see if there's any other surprised he and Cedar that are doing great.
All right, so the Orioles air somewhat of this for honesty, and they're six and seven.
I don't think that's much of a surprise, though, but it's not like they're the Marlins, where they only have, like one loss and their first in their division.
The White Sox are a bit of a surprise there, eating six to Williams back to the Twins. The division.
But again, it's another thing where first of all the White Sox have a decent roster.
Decent young roster.
But second of all, also, it's not like Aziz fresh because the Marlins, whether having a great year just having a solid E, the mid socks, are anyway in the National League.
Is there any surprise and teams here? Mm.
Besides the Marlins, I don't really see any.
I mean, the bread started the year six and eat, but that's not really surprised.
Yeah, there's not really any other very surprising teams aside from the Marlins in the American League or nationally.
But yeah, I mean, who even is the best player in the markets? Ieave don't even know.
To be honest, who do they even have Dee Gordon? The have, But he is, like, not amazing.
Who do the minds have? Who has given them these winds? Let's check a box score from a mom's name who's who could possibly be getting the Marlins? These Winds Marlins box score because like I know a few players with him, but I don't know.
Too many players in the team position, a bad team.
I know every herb.
Most players on pretty much every team, but not the Marlins.
The Marlins have.
Oh, yeah, Jonathan var Jesus haggler.
But he, like, kind of washed now.
Logan Forest life.
I mean, a lot of Rays players firm it freed.
They made the raise.
I believe, uh, Lewis brings in Francisco.
So, yeah, I actually know most of these players.
Let's see, The lari knows your belly.
I know. Add Lara.
I know for SciFi.
So that's six batters out of the nine that I know and then they're pitching.
I just have no idea how, like their kitchen is doing good.
Well, the truth is, actually, it's not because it's all like, seven games and stuff like that, But I mean, no, no, no.
They're just getting these winds with a bunch of like, decent players that are just kind of pulling winds right out of their hats.
But yeah, just the end of the soft.
I think yes, they can and make the playoffs, and I think they will squeak into the playoffs.
But as far as how far will they go? I think this is a pretty obvious question.
I think they won't go far at all.
Maybe they could be a Flutie in.
Imagine if the Marlins win the World Series.
That would be the equivalent to in the NHL.
The Detroit Red Wings, who, if you don't want and fellow, the worst team in the NHL, that would be the equivalent to the Detroit Red one books winning the Stanley Cup this year and that would be absolutely seeing.
I mean, the Marlins have a nice young team.
I feel like in, like, five or six years there might be actually a really good team because they they just they don't have, like, a lot of young talent and stuff, But they have pretty solid and talent, you know, and they probably have a good prospect pool.
Let's look up top 100 multi prospects and see if the Marlins have, uh, see already they they must, because I feel like they have a great farm system.
I don't know for sure works.
I haven't really looked at it, but I don't know.
I'm gonna go with the Marlins right now and see if they have any talk 100 prospects.
My guess is yes.
They have the 22nd best prospect.
Six toe Sanchez of right handed pitcher.
They have the 28th Best prospect.
JJ Blood A an outfielder.
They have the number 66 Best prospect Jazz, Chris Home shortstop.
And then they have the 80th best prospect.
Jesus Sanchez and outfielder.
And then, to top it off, they have a right handed pitcher, Edward Cabrera, the E fifth best prospect.
And in this article, And it would be dot com and says since a group led by Bruce Sherman and Derek Creator ah, about the Marlins and September 2017 and fully embraced the rebuilding process, the farm system has improved from arguably the game's worst to number four and and will be pipelines.
Most recent system rankings in August There, five Top 100 prospects, other most since they tied the lead with six in 2013 and four of them were acquired last year.
Both Sanchez's and Chris home because there's actually twos.
That's why Sanchez is his girl in three separate Freed's and today, with the number four overall pick in the draft.
Oh so blood A might be a great player.
Number four pick in the draft.
I am actually going to go see if Hilal Murray is on the Oakland Athletics I Prospect Pool because if you don't know gives the seventh pick and then will be draft year, he got drafted to the NFL so last year, I'm actually cares to see.
That would be kind of funny if he is in their prospect pool.
Obviously, I don't think he would flip over to, ah, baseball just all of a sudden because he won rookie of the year in football.
But I don't know.
Maybe if you got a career in and football Andre, you could flip over.
Oh, yeah, so they don't have kind of Murray in the Prospect Pool.
Don't But anyway, customer, it's a great baseball player.
Seventh pick in the only the draft.
There's like 60 rounds or something.
Don't quote me on that because I think I may be wrong.
That's just a rough estimate, but yet it's just a lot of ran's.
But anyway, yeah, I might look to see if the Red Sox have a decent prospect pool.
But since I'm kind of talking about rebuild right now, I'm just gonna say one thing.
I can't believe how the Celtics are.
Have a ton of young talent like its young talent and they like.
And they have some great veterans to like the rebuilt on the flock they lead.
It was like the first human ever did standing in just the genius, every team to try to do this.
They rebuild without actually rebuilding.
Basically, what I mean is they rebuild, but still not enough town to go deep in the place. It's insane.
That's like just it.
In my opinion, they could end up being an absolutely amazing team, the future.
But anyways, now let's go back to the thing I was about to do.
Check if the Red Sox have any top 100 prospects.
Yeah, their farm system sucks.
They have one top 100 prospects, and he's the 77th.
Fresh prospect Tristen Koss is a first baseman, and then the article about it says Boston's farm system heavily contributed to the 28 cameras.
There's championship writing.
Plenty of homegrown talent, including Looky bets, Who's Gone, Sander, Bro, Guards and Rafael Devers, None to mention freed fodder to acquire Craig Kimbrel, who's gone in Paris.
Ile, who got Tommy John surgery and is over the year Boston is now in the process of replenishing its in talent but some promising players in the lowest levels of the system, but only one top under prospect for the second straight year.
So Jeeter dams Who they got from that hours for Do go on your keypad.
Starter Street might end up being pretty good.
Maybe he'll be My Jeeter was, I think, is a shortstop to Yeah, I'm pretty sure deterred dances short stuff unless he's a catcher or something.
But I think he is a, uh, I think Peter Dams is an infielder, but yeah, I mean, you look at some other teams, farm systems.
Let's see who has the best farm system was the number one prospect in baseball.
Oh, the rays do when I think this is the best farm system that these Brooke the Rays have the in before I go through their farm system.
The rays have a very solid team are now too.
They got 90 wins.
Last year they missed the playoffs, but they got 90 wins.
There are very saltine.
They have the number one prospect from baseball wand.
Wander Franco, a shortstop.
The number 15 prospect. Baseball.
Brendan McKay, A left hander, a left handed pitcher, slashed age.
So is he a two way player? I think it's a two way player, but anyway, uh, the and then they have the number 45 prospect in baseball veto over John, a second baseman's left shortstop, the 72nd as prospect.
Also a second ba*****t Slash would stop, which works out perfectly because Franco's a shortstop.
But then they could put Edwards at second base and then brought John.
Could play like a different position on the infield and then screened baths.
Is a rating in a picture 90th bus prospect.
And then to top it all off with their six top 100 prospect A Ah, in what is my sorry in what is, in my opinion, the best prospect on the Spar stomach? A little bit? There is 91 that's perfect, and baseball Brent Honey will a right handed pitcher.
So when you look that up is bringing Mackay a two way player.
Brendan OK, because there would be crazy.
I feel like a lot of, uh, a lot of ah oh, it's a called Oh, yeah, A lot of two way players are from foreign countries.
That's that's not meant to be offensive players from foreign hundreds that's actually meant to compliment.
I just I feel like, you know, because in, like, foreign leagues, I feel like it's a lot more common for them to play both positions.
And then they carried over to the league.
Look for a way out, but anyway, let's see Brendan McKay Is he a true way player when you look him up, comes up as a picture.
So you probably primarily picture Oh, yeah, yeah, he's primary pitch writing.
Yeah, let's see.
I don't really see any batting statistics.
Oh, yeah, He had a home run.
He only had 10 at bats, but it was only in seven games to So he had a home run and I was a solo shot for an R B I.
And then yeah, so she must be, uh he must be a two way player, which is crazy because, like, obviously showy of Connie.
And there's other two way players that are in Lanka the minor leagues.
But I feel like it's just crazy every time.
Anger is a two way player, and Shiotani might stop being a two way player soon because, I don't know, keep.
He wants toe still be a two way player and plans to be, but the Angels might stop them from doing it.
I don't You could look up an article about that, but anyway, yeah, I mean, he's gotten Tommy John surgery or something similar past, like every year for the past two years, So I should have just said two straight years.
But whatever, Uh, but yeah, Brenna Mackay, a raise prospect must be a two way player that surprises me a bit there, anyway, were voted the 41 minute market.
I'm in a goat break.
I rate so much gonna put in the shot for any new viewers that come in Well, I'm taking a break.
I'll say I'll be back.
I had a 45 minute mark.
So, like I said in the Shatt will be back at the 45 minute mark, which is in about three minutes and the next topic I will discuss is, can the 518 Red Sox found spunk and make the playoffs? And also a recap of less.
Last night's win against the village is in Bush for Do go hit two home runs, and he also robbed a home.
So anyways, I'll be back in about three minutes.
And actually, I don't think what I said came out onto the track, but whatever, all back in about three minutes at the 45 minute mark and I'm gonna be my mike.
All right, So I'm back now in this one new thing Shad, our thank you to inside sports that work for joining with broadcast.
So it turns out I'm pretty sure to answer the polls.
He must have to be in a computer because I quickly drawing the broadcast on my phone.
And I tried to answer poll, but it didn't work, so All right, so now I think you would have to be in a computer.
Washing has to answer the pool.
What? Just fine.
Anyway, if you have an account, then you've been just weigh in in the shot if you'd like to.
But if you're a guest and you would, after make an account to, ah, way in Indy track anyway, The next topic I have right here is Candy five and eat Red Sox fans back in the playoffs and plus every camp off last night's win against the Toronto Blue Jays in workshop Allah for Do Go head to Woman's.
So let's look at the A L East standings right now and then Maybe I'll take a look at the Red Sox schedule for the future here, anyway, the Red Sox air four from their division four gins back of first place, but only one game back of the Orioles and Rays for second place in their five and eight.
So if they beat the Blue Jay is like to name Zorro, then they could leave all the way in the second place and the Yankees air nine and four in their stumbling a bit.
Right now, they have a double header against the Rays, and right now they're actually playing a game.
I'll book that up.
Proceed score between the Yankees and Brady's Ah see Pa, its second of three Yankees over the Rays.
All right, so now it looks like the lead will be extended for the Yankees in the division will extend early it over the Red Sox 4.5 games.
But like I said, the word thoughts turn and second place there and forth.
But one win could easily get them to second place if the Royals lose.
And if the Rays lose the second game of the doubleheader, Actually, even if the oh yeah, the reason afterwards, second game of the doubleheader.
But, yeah, let's take a look at the Red Sox schedule, and then I'll see what I think.
They'll be able to finish it all right? So, like they just they have a lot of power.
Like like a good team, you know, in a of some good baths.
But they're pitching is just bad.
It's very bad, and they're open is terrible, too.
They need of one of Rodriguez back, but he's up for the year, seem a for sale.
So if they could just play how they did on opening night, every single, every single GAM books, I think they're definitely capable of then they could definitely go ahead and make the playoffs and bounce back.
Because there are only three games under 500 they play.
The Blue Jay is for two straight days, and then they play the Rays in a four game set than the Yankees before him set and then the Phillies in the two games.
I'll make a prediction here since their 51 eat.
Right now, I think that this is gonna take a while, like a few minutes, probably toe make this prediction because I'm going to schedule on game by game.
So I think they beat the Blue Jays tonight.
Teoh improved of three wins in a row and then six and eight, and then I think they lose the next game.
But then, when true threat against the race, that would leave them at eight and nine then I think they lose two in a row guns or used to be a eating 11 and then I think they do is three out of four to the Yankees to ah fall to nine and 14.
But then I think they come back and go on a six game win streak to go to 15 and 14 because I didn't they went to straight against the Phillies than they sweep the Orioles, so that would put them at I think I said 15 and 14 I might have.
Yeah, I think I said 15 and 14 might have said 16.
Anyway, you can correct me or tell me, uh, if I said 15 or 14 in the comments.
Think I said, Actually, I said 69 so 16 14 and then I think they ah lose to our 23 to the Blue Jays, though.
Works with the of them at 17 and 16.
And then I think they win two out of three against the Nationals.
Looks would put them at 90 and 17 and then I think they ah used to on three against the Braves, I wish would put them at a 18 and 18 through the already 16.
So we got a room at 18 and 18 and then I think they split a four game series with the Blue Jays to go to 20 and 40 and then they sport a series of failures to be 2120 months and then I think they and then I think they, uh, get lose three out of four to the Raisin under 20 to 24 then but then I think they win for two out of three against the Marlins to be 24 25.
And then after that I think they win two out of three against.
The name used to be 27 25 then, but then win two out of three against the Orioles to be 29 26 and then against the Braves.
I think they lose two out of three and finished the year 30 30 and 29 It would be.
But I think I skipped and am so I'll give them 31 29.
So that's where I have them finishing it 31 20 nine.
And to do that they'd have to go.
Let's see. Hold on.
I need to think here to do that.
My math sucks right now, but to go 31 29 they would have to go 26 21 1st of the year, which they can definitely get because they don't have that however schedule.
But will 31 29 get them into the playoffs? I don't know about that 31 in 29.
I think it definitely could, yeah, because I think it would get them to second in the division and then with the expanded playoffs, I think they could definitely get in.
So, yeah, I think the Red Sox will actually be able to bounce back to make the playoffs, because all they need to do is go 26 21 for the rest of the year to finish above 500.
But the record on predicting off 31 29 so they can easily do that.
They have enough firepower to do that.
So I think the Red Sox could do that.
Maybe they will.
Maybe they won't.
They need their pitching to step up, but their schedule wasn't even that hard.
So for the rest of the year, so 31 in 29 I think is realistic for them to finish at.
And I think it's realistic for them to make the playoffs with the extra into format.
If they get that record and then maybe who knows? Just if they get into the playoffs, they have a chance.
So, yeah, I think the Red Sox will end up making the playoffs with a record of 31 and 29.
So I'm just gonna write this down in my notebook.
Ah, then I am using for my topics.
So then I can go back to this page, and if they this page of my notebook and if I guess it right, I can say, Well, I guess it right, they finished 31 29 to meet the playoffs.
So let me just go get a 10 real quick.
Ali back in a second, okay? All right.
So sure it's down.
A quick 31 29 is nine prediction for the Red Sox record on the season ends.
And like I said, I think they will make the playoffs if they do that.
And I think this is very listening.
Some people might think it's not.
And if you want to debate that, you can talk on the tramp or you can call in using the number 617 or 8573213551 Anyway, we're about to hit the 51 minute mark or actually already ever about 52 Landmark.
Then let's see what other topics I have here.
Should the Red Sox be settlers, your buyers of the August 31st traded done.
So I will discuss that and maybe a bit more.
Ah, up until five o'clock PM Eastern time, when this show comes to an end.
Maybe, I wondered at 5 p.m.
I don't know, but I'll be back in about three minutes at the 55 minute mark.
I hope you've enjoyed the show so far, and I got some nice topics coming up.
So you guys should enjoy that as well.
Also, ill say this at the end of the broadcast to, But I'm broadcasting the Red Sox game tonight, so make sure to turn on notifications for my channel.
And just to do that, I think you would go to my profile.
There's a button you can press to turn on notifications.
Ah, but anyway, that's what you need to do, and I'll be back in about three minutes.
All right, so I am back and it's about 4:39 p.m.
Eastern time, so the show will go until 5 p.
Eastern time, and that's where it won't.
And then I'll broadcast the Red Sox game in a little bit, so this is probably gonna finish with a ram.
200 views for the I never really asked for views.
We're beg for views and that's not what, uh, what? My intention is here, but for the next broadcast, which is gonna be, like three hours long us like, two times the amount of time as this one.
I want to shoot for maybe 200 viewers.
And I would be very happy with that.
But obviously I can't control you guys and I never beg for viewers, but anyway, here we get.
So the next topic I have here is should the red sauce be sellers or buyers at the trade deadline? So they have a solid batting line up? Like I already said, they have a solid batting lineup, but they're pitching is terrible.
I think they should sell, like some of their months freely in some of the era.
Batter is that just aren't really contributing too much and some of their pictures like maybe they should shop.
Maybe he should Shaab, like maybe VD Martinez, To be honest, I know, I know he's not a picture, and I was just talking about pitchers.
I'll talk about pictures in a second but J.
D Martinez is amazing.
Don't get me wrong, but I just like they need a treed somebody big for a good prospect.
A pool Because the perfect pool is very battered.
They need to replenish hung in town.
Or maybe they should do this treated like Heath Hemery or one of their decent bullpen arms.
Like some prospects just freed somebody.
Anybody for prospects besides Devers over Duda? I think they should be buyers and picture, but Sellers Ah, and get some prospects.
Who could they give up for prospects here? Let's see there, 40 man roster consists of some nice, uh, assets here.
Maybe they could fit Brian Grazer or four Zack Godley for prospects.
Uh, I don't know.
He hem breeze a name I brought up.
Maybe they should, By the way, I'm looking at the Red Sox roster right now.
Maybe they should ship off.
And Mitch Moreland? I mean, there's more ones, like pretty good, though, so I don't know, but Mitch Moreland is 35 years old, so yeah, well, he still has value.
Well, he's playing solid ship off Mitch Moreland for prospects are pitching or something.
I'm not saying I want to give up much.
Jane don't want you, but I wouldn't be against giving up Mitch Moreland for pigeon war prospects.
They got to do something.
They need prospects or pitching.
I think they shouldn't be in with Hammoud because they're obviously not good enough to enter wyndam mood.
They need to adjust.
Try to do a really good rebuild.
I would be fine with three or four years, even five or six years of a rebuild.
If in Retton, the young talent that you would hypothetically get for that reveal would deliver, just like Mookie Betts and Bogart and stuff would deliver down the road in Greatest, a dynasty year at least create us a very competitive team.
So they need to go into a heavy buble move anybody, any assets that have that are one aging to not playing do good.
And three just not big contributors they should treat.
And like I said earlier, and like two minutes ago, maybe they should give up J. D.
It's an unpopular opinion, but maybe they should just give him up prospects, to be honest, because I don't know, I lose very, very smart.
Heard Teoh like, uh, give movie.
That's a big offer.
And then it was It was very smart to do that, but then I think was very smart toe.
Once he declined that get prospects from you want to get something for him if they knew he was gonna leave the following season in free agency.
So I think that was a smart move to give up Mookie Betts.
Obviously, that was a while ago.
So you guys know that you tells that trade? So I'm not just gonna go into details that's not Rose Gun under, but I'm just saying that they should probably I know they made a smart move, but yet I think they need to give up something for prospects or pitching.
But I think they need prospects more than the need pitch in maybe picturing prospects.
But they need prospects.
They need to just, like bulk up their farm system in their Meyer the system, and, like, kind of be prepared for the future.
And then another hot topic is after this season is over.
At was course, suspension is up.
One refugee, I think, is no offense room.
I think he's a bad manager.
He was good in the role was in before.
But he's a bad man.
The lineups he puts out are subpar, usually, and he's like like it has had one long enough that does great.
And then the next day he gives one of them the day off, and it's like it's a 16 game season.
What do you need to give them the day off for? They just played. Agreed.
It just makes no sense.
Every time somebody plays great, he would really sits in the next game.
All the one moment um, they build was just on because he just sits them or puts out a terrible line brand for that just annoys me.
It's like if you have a great line that does greet, you need to keep put in that lineup or some variation of it.
You can't sit the best player in that line.
It's just dumb, like so Alex Cora helped the team a lot.
If they feed it or not, I don't think they treated, but if they shouldn't or not, they're still e.
I'll score was so great manager and still did more than Ron when a key is doing right now, so edgy and I But yet he just like Alex Cora, is just not a good I mean, you know, weren't learning.
He is not a good man.
He just know they eat outscored so bad.
Like this team with Ron Roenicke is just not good and they need a bowl.
Couple prospects, obviously like the players I think should be off limits for trading are like Bogaards givers for Do go, uh, see anybody else.
Chavis, like no herb ask is no, Don't freed me of that, but I think some players they should look in treating or, you know, just try to make a deal that can help them in some way.
If the future, they should be a few 15 auto wind now team trying to get Thailand for this year, a team that's trying prove for the future.
If they do that, then they're doing things right.
If they do the officers that or don't do any variation that they're doing things wrong, Michael.
They need a bulk up on prospects and they can't just be in wind now mood when they're clearly not good enough to be, and when now mood because they can't even make the playoffs.
Like if your remarks in this whole Phil, you know that I already said I think they'll bounce back and make the playoffs.
But like, I didn't go barely get in and not do anything a great they're not a threat.
So they just need toe bulk up on prospects in being few from not only now, mood.
So if I will be very frustrating if they just don't do anything at the deadline, they can't just sit down and do nothing at the deadline.
This is a deadline where they need to make a move, especially for young count.
They need to make moves.
And if they can't, if they fail to do that, then they're screwed.
They need to make moves at this deadline on August 31st.
And if they can't do that, then the next you seasons could be affected by that.
Like they get a lot of aging players.
Kind of, you know, how old is Martinus? Let me look into that real quick.
Ah, Pedroia is 37 by the way.
But Martine is it.
See, also, Jonathan of Rudes is only 22 years old, which is a very, very good uh thing there anyway.
Yeah, Mormons 35.
Like I was saying, Um, let's see.
They just got to think of giving some of that E agent Callen up.
So I think in the next few years they just Earth.
This year, I think they really needed to do it.
It's very important and very yet just very important that they get young count this year at the deadline or make a move.
But yet they gotta make some sort of moves, and I'll be very first rating if they do make a move.
But it's for a win now, player or red bill for just this year.
No, they need to be infusion of like I've been saying anyway, I have abode 10 minutes left for the show, and then I'll be back on at 7 30 for the Boston Red Sox first Toronto Blue Jays game.
Anyway, let's see what is the next topic I have.
The next topic is how far will the Bruins and Celtics go in the playoffs? But maybe I'll use that for tomorrow's show.
Maybe I'll friday, uh, go through that.
Anyway, that's kind of gonna be it.
Me, I have, like 10 more minutes.
Maybe I'll go through one more thing, but yeah, I'll go want through One more thing and that thing will probably be just kind of.
Ah, it'll be just a review of the leaderboard at the PGA Championship, which is currently happening right now in Nabi.
Back in about three minutes for that, and then I'll sign up.
All right, so I am back and to explain lying, taking two or three minute breaks.
It's because it may not seem like it's tiring, but it gets a little tiring after, you know, like a 10 minute topics are usually take like a true to three and a break after each topic like a commercial break.
But I'm not actually playing commercials anyway.
Well, and used to.
I used to play audio, but, uh, now display well, now play enough.
You should just by audio of commercials.
Or sometimes I'd show the months read.
If you are, listen to my show last year and live like a year, Uh, like a year in a month from today.
Then you would then you would know, and they also used to do it just last summer.
I love last summer, but anyway, I got a boat seven more minutes left in the show and I'm gonna do a run through off the PGA Championship leaderboard.
And then now it will be It's a PGA Championship leaderboard is what I have to look up here and then I'll be done for this show.
All right? So I'm gonna get to the PGA Tour leaderboard.
Uh, no PGA Championship leaderboard in a minute.
Hold on one second.
I'm just getting rid of a lot of the tabs on this computer because obviously done with the show.
All right, so now the p G A championship leaderboard.
All right, So, like I said, a boot seven minutes now, six minutes left in the show.
So just a heads up at the 1 15 minute mark.
I'll end It are around then.
Anyway, here is the leaderboard.
A lot of players haven't keyed off yet since it's on the West Coast.
Ah, Anyway, here we go.
So, uh, h Lee, I don't know his full first name, but each we a very unexpected ah leader right now is eat under minus aid.
Ah, with ah, actually, what was I even going to say that.
I don't know what I was even going to say, but I meant to say he's teeing off at 6 p.
Eastern time and this is rammed three out of four.
If you don't really wash off two months, that's fine.
But just to explain, Eat Under is better.
Like it's minus eat.
So you want to be in the minus rabbit on the plus.
But if you walked off, then great anyway.
Tied for second is recent day, who was six under keys off at 5:50 p.
And started third round.
Then it's Daniel Berger who's also at six under.
First cap got six under.
Justin Rose at six under.
Lorenzo over at six under, Fleetwood at six under.
It's a very kind of close race from kind of anyone's game right now.
I would see tramp tees off at 5:30 p.m.
so in about 30 minutes, he's at five under.
Ah, let's see Paul.
He sees at 500 tees off in 20 minutes.
Hadi's off in 20 minutes.
He's at five under.
Zander softly is Ah, at four under column.
Er Kawa is that for under his minus two on the day but to one drum day, and he's on whole five.
Dustin Johnson is for under Who keys off in about four minutes.
Ah, see Wise Burger tees off in four minutes.
He's 400 or and he's off at 4:50 p.m. Eastern.
He's at four under.
Steele, who's tied for 11th visit for under Diamond, is tied for 11th at four under.
He's one under on the day him and Steeler Bull Phone Whole three in the same group.
Uh, another notable person is Jon Rahm, tied for 11th.
He's four under on whole seven.
He's three under for the day and is climbing his way up the leaderboard.
You got Tony Fina, who's even on the day he's on whole three and he's three under.
Patrick can't lay is 400 a day and minus three.
He finished, but what an amazing day for him to get him back into the race.
Ivory Mac arise on hold.
Used to wonder if the day and he needs a big push to get back into this thing.
Heasley, under on a brutal on the tournament and now hard.
Ah, Harold Viner.
The third is that one under on the day at on hold for at three under.
Brand SNET occur is tied for 20th with Foreigner at three under.
Also, he's also one under on the day at Whole four and then had a key. Mattson.
He's on whole one at three under on the day, and then Webb Simpson, embracing a sham, bearable tied for 20th at minus three.
Simpsons that whole eight into shambles at whole four out of 18 cools Eric.
So that is kind of a leaderboard.
I'll actually see where Tiger Woods is placed, but that's kind of the notables on the leaderboard and ask the top 20.
But Justin Thomas and Gary Woodland are tied for 37 at one under.
Thomas is finished when he was needed of too well to wonder on the day, and Gary Woodland is even on the day.
He's on hole nine halfway through his round at one under, and then Tiger Woods is deep down here anyways, Patrick Reed is that one under.
He's plus one in the day.
I hold four, and then Tiger Woods is way down here I think.
Ah, he's plus three on the day.
He's also plus three for the tournament, and he's on holds Donkey.
So it looks like Tiger Woods is done here.
He's not done for the day.
He's still got a whole, as I said, because he's on Hole 17.
But he's done kind of first chances because, I mean, he's 11 back the lead.
He's like, I want him toe win because, you know, he, uh, I want him toe beat Jack Nicklaus's record or at least make it close.
And the record number futzing right now is the all time beat your tournament record.
Nicholas has 1 18 1 says 1 16 also has to back of that, But yet, I mean, but I probably Ron, let's see somebody at the top of the leaderboard.
I probably one Colin Merck, Iowa to win the most.
Actually, I kind of want Brooks kept.
Brooks kept Goodwin the most cause he's going for a stowed straight PGA Championship, which would be insane.
But anyway, that's what I want to win this PGA Championship.
