And with that, we welcome you back as I apologize, trying to get myself fully set up here to do.
We got next podcast life here on SportsCastr.
Ahead of the game between the Nets and the Bucks will have TLC cruce, Lance Thomas, Garrett Temple and Tyler Johnson in the starting lineup for the Brooklyn Nets.
As we get underway here just heading in towards tip off, we give you the caveat that if you're on the East Coast, you're aware that there's a bit of a tornado in some 70 mile an hour winds rushing around here.
So if at some point we do lose the feed, I'll do my best to come back in.
And if it's un unable to do so, I'll make sure to try to follow up at least 1/2 time.
And then, of course, do some postgame coverage as well.
But that makes the official disclaimer on the expectations Here.
Over on the other side of things, you will see Robin Lopez in place of Brook Lopez as ah, he'll get some rest still gonna have Middleton out there on the lineup for the Milwaukee Bucks.
So expectations, obviously the Nets come in this with a plus 19 margin there, as they of course, are resting Jared Allen and then some minor injuries reported there for Ah, careful Vert and Joe Harris, so they will not be on the floor.
Tip off gets underway as kooks takes.
That tip goes the way the Milwaukee Bucks.
They work themselves in the delay in a near turnover, but we gather on the outside where we now have Tyler Johnson defending its Johnson's Ikuko and then Lance Thomas comes over with double team efforts.
Scrappy play here.
Lost in the middle underneath with Robin Lopez.
This is TLC working through the lane bank shot up and in, and that gives the Nats a two nothing lead at the store scoring underway here down in the bubble in Orlando.
Charging right through the lane is the honest holding his ground.
But getting worked around is karubas and quickly, too, too fast pace here early.
I mean, that we still aren't gonna want to keep an eye on what the possibilities are.
I'm just seeing some of these players get underway, you know, as Lance Thomas going down the baseline, unable to connect at the rim.
This one gets worked around by Robin Lopez over to, uh Middleton.
Excuse me as he goes off front rim.
They've also got Hill out there for Milwaukee as well.
We're talking about the this rotation here as we see Lance Thomas off the mark from beyond the arc.
Well, off the mark, might I add still two to early stage amid 1/2 gone by.
But you do think about some of the different players that are on this on this roster and on the floor right now.
You know, Kourou groups, of course, being one of the big components here we highland um, on the podcast.
He had a strong first game ugly second game.
There goes Lance Thomas once again pulling the trigger from deep and once again well off the mark.
She'd like to see that become a little bit of a thing in the past year in the early stages up.
You know, cool Rocks is a guy that can improve.
His game is the three goes down for Milwaukee.
With Johannes on the trigger.
There, he can make a case for himself to be a player that's worthy of continuing to develop his skill set continuing to be a member of this team going forward, they still have him under contract.
There's no real reason for them to think about moving on from him.
But maybe worst case scenario for the Nets.
You think about him being, ah, possibly a trade chip if they look to acquire someone in the off season.
But I still think that his skill set is there and worth trying to develop.
If you are the Brooklyn Nets, so a player to keep an eye on his Middleton knocks down his three ball here.
Little mid range jumper is good from TLC there.
So a nice job for him, giving the Nets all four of their points so far, the trail age four with 9 25 to go here in the first.
Now the other players.
Beyond that, You know Lance Thomas isn't a guy.
I'm really too concerned about seeing what he does here.
Tyler Johnson showed you enough.
They're thinking that first game, even though the second game here in the bubble was not a good one for him when he got uncertain to starting lineup as kooks pulls the trigger from deep and connects, and that's a great case for him.
We'll jump around here conversationally, but it's a great sign to see here.
He struggled a little bit pulling the trigger in game number two against the Washington Wizards, but right there, catch and release does a beautiful job as this one narrowly is thrown away, but saved by Milwaukee, been tapped away and ultimately off the honest out of bounds, 11 7 here, Brooklyn trailing.
But the fact that Cruise pulls that trigger early is a great sign for him.
And that's something that he was struggling with during this year.
Coming off the bench to these eight games and the playoffs, Siri's that it feels like the Nets are all but locked into is going to be important.
Great under the basket.
Feed there, from Tyler Johnson to Lance Thomas.
Can't connect, but the foul called does get made there.
And right now you're seeing, as you expect from Brooklyn, just maximum effort there in the early stages, down by four age 40.
To go here in the first quarter beyond Karubi on a Lance Thomas Tyler Johnson.
I think he may be able to make a case for himself that you wanna have him on this roster, potentially next year as a depth player at the Guard position, depending on how you feel about she owes a internally and whether or not he truly can be someone who can contribute to this roster going forward.
Last time is, I believe, miss there on the first, and we'll have another one to go here.
Ah, in addition to that, you see TLC as Lance Thomas gets his first point of the game there after going over three from the field.
But on that foul does finally get to the line.
Working the ball around the perimeter is Milwaukee on the offensive and a wide open look, and that will be through and true for George Hill connecting from three point territory.
So a number of buckets from the outside going down for Milwaukee early here and relatively open looks as well.
Listen, when you get into rotation, has Garrett Temple, Lance Thomas, TLC Crews and Tyler Johnson nice little mid range off the elbow for Lance Thomas there.
So he and TLC taking care of the point, scoring here for Brooklyn along with groups.
But you expect some defensive lapses just in terms of communication.
Cruz gets caught in the air a little bit.
As George Hill goes, Baseline foul called their side out will get restarted.
But you have to love the fact that, at least in the early going here, 14 11 is probably better than you would anticipate.
So the offense is there for Brooklyn.
In spite of a couple of these miscues from the outside.
For Thomas, No TLC, he can make a case for himself.
Certainly, I would expect him maybe to be around in camp next year, But you just wonder about the fluidity of this roster and how they're looking at it as the outside shot does not go down for Milwaukee and Garrett Temple comes away with that rebound feed to Tyler Johnson drives in, trying to kick over the corner for TLC, kick ball out of bounds off George Hill, and then it's will retain side out with 17 to shoot.
But listen again.
You don't know what it's gonna look like, but in a short off season, you can pursue this idea about Big Three right and getting in another.
Listen, you tell me where you want the expectations to go here, but I highly doubt you thought this was going to be the case again.
There be honest ableto lay one and almost a proxy find himself completely open and gathered that one and later soft touch their 16.
Tyler Johnson gives up the dribble, goes out to karaoke space on the three, gets around the honest and then kicks outside here.
But it looks like we're going tohave three second call there.
We're gonna have it in the lane there for the Milwaukee Bucks defensively.
So something for them to think about here and what is interesting because you don't have Brook Lopez out there.
You have Robin, obviously.
But the majority of the starters air, they're for walking.
Do you have a chance to clinch the official one seed? It was a surprise, but it may be choose.
Just arrest here is well against the Brooklyn Nets because, relatively speaking, I don't think you're gonna fall out of that one scene.
I will say, because if you beat the Brooklyn Nets and you push them further into that a seed, you also then lock up having that matchup in the first round which, if you're going to pick one of your two choices.
You'd much rather be getting Brooklyn, then getting the Orlando Magic foul called.
They're going down the lane, Johannes taking on Kourou works.
You can see the frustration there for Cruz.
That's a tough matchup for him and will continue to take a look and see if it's possible for them to kind of rotate.
Who's gonna pick up the honest defensively.
So you honestly head to the line here in second foul there for crew roots? Certainly when you think about it from the Nets standpoint, getting rest.
By the way, the minute totals that Alan ran the other day that was his highest, that he's seen here.
So you have to realize of the season.
Excuse me, Highest minutes total.
So there's a legitimate reason for arrest.
We can speculate about what's going on with Harris and Liberte.
They're coming well, short.
There was the honest on the second free throw just off the front rim.
So 16 15 here as we come up on the seven minute mark here in the first quarter.
Um, you know that high minutes total is important, and then I think nice up in under for Lance Thomas on the feed from TLC. Time out.
Taken here by the Milwaukee Bucks.
And listen, this is a one point lead for the Brooklyn Nets here in the early going of the first quarter's currents.
Has a conversation with the referee just that confirm.
But you're saving Jared Allen in some ways from having to take on some of these difficult matchups.
Why, why diminish what you've had in terms of building his confidence there? So I understand it from that standpoint.
For Brooklyn, certainly.
But now you have to worry about which is was a concern, even when you have the full strength of quote full strength of this lineup.
Down in the bubble is what is it gonna look like for them if Kruk starts to get into trouble? Where you going? It's a 10 man rotation that the Nets are bringing in here, so you're just gonna have to live with some of the results.
So be interested to see with Cruz picking up a second foul.
How do you try to balance it? Throw Lance Thomas Adam for a little bit, Maybe go incredibly small.
We saw just by rotation, you nipple, Tyler Johnson taking him on there on the perimeter.
Johannes is gonna get the points he's going to get.
So you might as well just try to throw a lot of different bodies, Adam.
So that way, at the very least, you're spreading out some foul difficulties there because you do need to try to monitor that.
Even if you're looking to get through this game we're talking about, Ah, you know, winning it down the stretch or anything.
But you want to manage this so you don't end up with someone fouling out, getting out to nine players, down to eight players, and all of a sudden you're really asking for maximum minutes out of guys, because when you come back around for the back to back tomorrow, even if you bring back Alan and you bring back you know Harris and avert all back into the starting lineup, you may be looking at two or three guys that are going to then need rested because they had to play borderline the full 48 here in order to ensure, you know, being able to finish out the game with a roster on hand, we'll go into us and insights here is, well, just some news and notes around this game.
Now, this is difficult.
Want to really get into? Because while this is just the second meeting between these two teams this season, it was a 1 17 107 victory.
The last time they met up now again 14 and two over the last 16 games against the Brooklyn Nets are the Milwaukee Bucks dating back to April 2015.
Ah, but but different team that you play, then different team you're playing now different set of expectations.
So you know, again, we're not gonna hang our hat on on really too many of these stat lines just in terms of what they need relative to this particular contest.
We know that the Nets are coming off that victory over the Washington Wizards and that all but solidifies their playoff spot.
As we mentioned at the top of this show here on When you think about is the highlight on the broadcast, 34 points from cares 26.
We won't see here today.
No one asked that if you want to say Garrett Temple represents some from a starting rotation for the Brooklyn Nets, he did start a times for them, though relatively small sample size there as well.
So to get back here under way at the 6 56 mark again, if you're Milwaukee, the last thing you want to be dealing here is spending any more time in anymore starter minutes from your from your meeting players having to go deeper into this game that you want to.
You'd really like to be by the by by halftime and coming out of the break.
Be looking at and saying, Great, we can go ahead and shut down, Yonas.
Give them some extra rest.
Shut down, George Hill, Middleton.
You're gonna leave probably Robin Lopez out there because he's the backup anyway.
But these are the concerns that you're talking about here for the Milwaukee Bucks.
Just want to manage.
You need to you want to lock up the one seed.
You want to lock up the Brooklyn matchup in round one as a deep three is fired and connected on there for Milwaukee.
That one will go down off the fingertips of Oh Di Vincenzo there on the three ball.
So he connects there and then missed down the other end two point lead here finding honest in the lane, they collapsed three defenders around the honest the force to the outside and then trying to reset this defense.
They will call the foul there on the floor.
It looks like, Yes, it's going to go against TLC.
I think it's on the floor there as Ah, TLC sensed and felt the ah B block screen getting set up alongside of them.
They're trying to fight over top of it and really got his body just forced into Middleton.
So Tyler Johnson checks out here, the 6 14 mark replaced by Chios.
So we've seen that now back to back games where she owes is coming in off the bench, had a better performance coming off the bench, scoring 14 points, while Tyler Johnson, the starting, will actually struggled.
Three ball, No good from the outside there.
And now we're also gonna get a look at Dante Hall coming into the game here for his first minute share with the Brooklyn Nets young player most of his time spent there in the G lead.
But this this is a player that you talked about guys that you want to get a look at it will be excited to see what they might be able to contribute.
As the Nets work good inside out ball rotation, they find their man, TLC good from three.
He doesn't chase waterfalls, but he does chase buckets from deep TLC's That night's performance so far in this one.
Nets or seven of 13 from the field.
7 11 4 The Milwaukee Bucks As they missed once again a 2019 game advantage for Brooklyn by one point here at the 5 28 mark groups.
And she owes a work in the two man game, and now she owes a uses.
The whole screen works in the lane fires cross court.
This will be hoisted up there by Garrett Temple.
Well off the mark.
But Holes gonna gather that one on the outside and get it back into the hands of Chios.
A double clutch there and then fires for three.
No, where's near Valium? So just all front rim bad.
Look there from shows that giving up his dribble, but you still want to be smart.
They're Middleton works inside and gets the friendly roll, looking for a foul call as well.
She owes a with side arm past half court up to Garrett Temple gives up his dribbling against avec opened shows and reset this often swing around to Kourou.
Hands off the TLC tries to drive baseline spin, moving side and the gentleman's touches Good from TLC.
So you know the Nets as we know it's by committee and missing three of your starters really looking for someone to give you a spark.
And right now, TLC has been that man connecting from deep successfully and then right there, showing a little bit of, ah, inside prowess will say nice little down, triple on the baseline spin move, and then the soft touch at the rim Looks like we're going to get a foul call here on the inside.
And here is Jamal Crawford.
Don't know if he's just checking in for the first time.
He will replace Garrett Temple.
So Crawford, who signed, did not play this past season 40 years old, had to work himself into game.
Condition has done so.
The wide open three is good for the corner, whole late closing out there, and we'll get a look at your mall.
Happy to see him here.
Another guy that again.
I don't think you have expectations of this being a showcase for him next season has the wild pass from Chios is saved by Crawford? They work it around.
Cruz goes off front rim on the three ball, and we come upon four minutes to play.
20 to 24 Nets trailing by two.
Johannes Stutter Step.
Not the kind of guy you want defending him in Chios it.
But that's just the facts of life kicks outside.
It will be whole, coming down with the uncontested rebound that he will get it over to Crawford, who works into the front court, uses the whole screen, thinks about that beautiful look there, though.
Back door feed from Cruces, Jamal Crawford elevated at the elbow and then saw the cutting Cruz got him on the feed.
Nice finish, and that's the kind of we talk about.
What are the expectations for Jamal Crawford, or what do you think the value is of bring him in? Better in presence? He's going to be able to communicate in practice with some of the young players here, and little to no concern is for late.
Make the right basketball play and not worry about necessarily trying to serve his own function.
Costa was nearly there for Johannes.
He gets in at the bucket with ease, and it will be a time out taken here, 28 24 Nets trailing by four.
But as they highlight that nice feed from Jamal Crawford, his first little mark on the scorecard will go down as an assist here.
And then listen.
The Nets, at this point, I think, will be ecstatic with the results that they're getting here.
Excuse me, and when you think about on the Milwaukee side, you just have to wonder a little bit.
How concerning maybe or just it's deflating to come out against a team of backups and some G League level players, really for the Brooklyn Nets and find yourself only up by four rate.
Now, at this point of the first quarter and again, it's only gonna take a little run here from Milwaukee on you saw a couple of three point attempt there from Kourou that didn't fall.
Once that happens, obviously this four point lead can balloon to 14 can balloon to 16 very, very quickly.
We saw that in the first game against the Orlando Magic as well.
We'll go ahead and pull it some additional stats here to walk through.
And as we look ahead, remember again, the Nets win over the ah over the shooting.
Washington Wizards will highlight that here momentarily as well.
Just what it looks like from the standing standpoint.
Honestly, we'll take a look out West as well, because it's been ah, far more exciting out there.
There's been some interesting developments in that regard as well.
When we think about, I want to go there first.
When you think about the standings in the Eastern Conference, obviously the easy the easy thing to talk about here from the next perspective is you came out.
You lost to Orlando as it stands right now, your only 1/2 game behind them.
So you still could flip flop in between those eso again.
Any big wins that you could come across here along the way could impact depending on how the magic do.
But when you beat that, maybe that Wizards team they now find themselves 5.
5 games back of the Brooklyn Nets.
Now you only need to be within four, so you know the game and 1/2 difference there.
The problem is, I don't think the Wizards were really lining upto win three games in this restart, Co three and five.
Losing to Brooklyn hurts their chances even more.
Had they won that and you found yourself within 4.
5 4 games there, then there's some pressure on Brooklyn to at least pick up another W along the way and avoid the plane scenario as it stands right now, though, you feel all but secure now out ahead of them.
They're really, you know, the seventh and a seeds.
Those are the two interesting positions where the Nets and the Orlando Magic and flip flop.
They've already done that once after the initial meeting here, looking 70 Sixers.
Obviously, they've come out fairly flat here.
They picked up a victory, though they find themselves a game behind the Pacers.
The weird part here is at least I think we talked about the name of the podcast before or here on SportsCastr.
When you look over that, the rotation there in terms of where teams can shuffle Teoh pacers obviously so surprising a lot of people here already with some of just being able to win any games.
Really, when you don't have so bonus and you don't have broadened and you still have the question mark around, what is the quality of play? What the minute share is gonna look like for Victor Oladipo? But if the if the 70 Sixers could jump the Pacers, then you get into that match up against the Miami Heat.
And, relatively speaking, you probably rather be having that is just inside the arc.
The shot is off the mark there for Brooklyn, so we'll go the other way.
Trailing by four, I believe that came off the hands.
Yes, first shot attempt there for Jamal Crawford.
So we look to find that shooting rhythm, and we'll keep an eye on what his minute shares look like here over the course of his first appearance member as Moussa has now checked into the game.
And that's how you know you're dipping into the depth here, didn't play at all in the last one, and very well could have been preparing for just such a scenario.
Nice drive under the hoop there and kicked to the corner from Shiozawa over two groups who connects from deep.
So he continues to pull the trigger from beyond the arc and has had success.
27 28 as we come upon 2.
5 to play here, pal.
Coal on the Floor looks like she owes is having a discussion there with Crawford as they just communicate about assignments and rotation again.
These are guys that haven't seen the floor together outside of practice.
So you're going to expect some of these lapses to come and take that foul their troops will check out.
Has had a nice performance so far here, and it will be going to the line as Milwaukee is already in the bonus now.
Ah, Raptor and Bucks.
There's, I mean, to talk a lot about the one seed, as Anderson will now check in here.
He also did not play in the last match up, and this is really work.
It's interesting here to 30 to go in the first quarter.
Now you have Moussa out there.
Now you have Anderson out there.
Now you have crossed hopeful.
If you're going to see this game, just go ahead and get wrapped up in a hurry.
This would be the time frame that you're probably gonna pay attention to, uh, from the Brooklyn that standpoint feed from card over to Geo.
So good looking shot.
There does not go down for him and we'll see here in a three point game.
How far this gap might spread over the final two minutes of the quarter as the three bull is good from Korver.
And he's a guy that could do some damage in this second unit for the Bucks here, now a six point game as they come upon two to play.
I know this locks in the play of the number one seed for the Bucks, but they're 5.
It's not going to happen.
The one seed is the Bucks.
Nice connection from the outside there.
That's Anderson pulling the trigger.
So one good three deserves another here and the next.
Refusing to go away, at least in the early stages of this game and listen to come down out of the first quarter here and be within 10 is a victory in and of itself for the Nets.
The fact that there within three here and really just showcasing balance, consistency, working their system.
That is important.
They're gonna get the foul call here as it looks like Crawford trying to fight over top of the screen there in the corner.
And we'll see if this foul was, in fact, on Korver.
Which would mean he'll go to the line shooting three, potentially or if it was off ball and it may just be on the screener wouldn't take a look here.
His Crawford has a bit of discussion with the officials.
Yeah, so they're going on the shot.
But I'm taking a look at who you had there in front of them, And it was.
Bledsoe was just trying to stay in his way.
So the Falco is on Crawford against Bledsoe.
He'll go to the line shooting.
As John Phone asked the question about, um, I not allowed.
It was my player not allowed to try to defend outside there.
And you have a bit of a moving screen set there, perhaps, from Bledsoe.
Nevertheless, he's at the line, shooting two by four minute 40 to go lock in that one seat.
The two seed there has a four game advantage over the Celtics, so 12 and basically three I would even argue, because you are talking about again.
5 game lead between the Celtics and the Miami Heat.
So if those 1st 3 seeds air really locked in the 70 Sixers, the Miami Heat, nice looking inside be there from Crawford dumps it off the hall and the ruin True goes the youngster slams that one home in the Nets are back within two.
Quick, streaky runner.
They're decent job by Anderson.
Defending the bucket won't go, and she owes a quickly breaks out.
Gives it the dribble.
Fires cross court Crawford from deep splashed down the 1st 34 Jamal Crawford back on the floor.
The 40 year old finds the bottom of the bucket, and it is now with a minute to go here in the first quarter, a one point lead for the Brooklyn That's 35 34 spot up.
Three point shot here from Bledsoe off the mark.
Uncontested rebound for Chios out there at the foul line, and we will work our way back into the offense.
45 to play here, Feed over to Moussa, moved up from deep and music an extra three, and the Brooklyn Nets have a four point advantage, now 38 34 as Jared Allen has taken on role of cheerleader on the bench.
Mask on throw in flow as he weighs his hand from side to side.
A nice job here in this second unit matchup for Brooklyn.
Outside here Open.
Look there from Robin Lopez couldn't connect Rebound for Brooklyn.
And if there's anything more shocking than the Brooklyn Nets without any starters from the season, maybe absence of Garrett Temple on a small sample size having a lead over the Milwaukee Bucks.
As the first quarter finishes out, she owes a in the corner on the feed from Musa back.
Sit down dribbles over the corner, wide open.
Look for Anderson rattling in an Appaloosa.
Grabs it, gets it back up and in, and the Brooklyn Nets will head to the first quarter break with ah, 40 to 34 advantage over the Milwaukee Bucks.
Um, nothing more shocking than that.
What we've seen right now and listen, you want talk about hustle, please.
You want to talk about guys, whether on the roster or just thinking about their future in the n. B.
In general, you are getting every single ounce of energy from this unit out there on the floor right now for Brooklyn.
So as we head to the break with the Nets holding a lead right now, sorry, it just is that this is a shocking.
Is this about a shocking turn of events, as you can hack here for the Brooklyn Nets and fantastic it that, by the way, we'll go ahead and take a look here as we love to do.
Let's see if we get any news over on Twitter, as we affectionately have been calling them the Doug Nuggets over the course of the Brooklyn Nets season.
If he's tracking this game right now, which is a busy day for him doing his fantasy sport work as well.
So it could be a hard one for him to manage doing everything at the same time.
But they're just maybe they're just maybe a Doug Nugget out there, so we'll check back in there soon and see if Doug is firing anything out there.
Any little birds of wisdom.
Well, by the way, we've got ah so 14 minutes ago.
Just just ah, is the beginning of this game was getting underway.
We've got this. Don't get friends.
If the Nets win this game, immediately induct every player and coach into the whole thing.
So listen. Benchmark set.
She owes a lock him up Jack of ongoing as a head coach.
Um, and by the way, we did.
Also, of course, record are our podcast episode.
Got that out there earlier and, as noted on our post, when we threw it up there, we got this one out there just ahead of Jared Allen and Caris Levert Harris being announced as they would not play in this game.
But there's some good breakdown information about the Washington Wizards.
Match up the things that we liked, especially from Joe Harris.
I won't gild the lily there for you.
It's very worth checking out when we think about guys next year and what it means for their prospects.
You know, at the very least, Joe Harris is solidifying the incredible value that he has to this roster and why it's so important that if the Nets we assume they were going to bring him back and re sign him.
But this only makes it that much more affirmed because if you can still get your shot.
And really, he did a little bit from the inside the outside, 18 points from beyond the arc, a great shooting night from three for Joe.
But he was also able to assert himself.
Going the basket worked against the baseline was patient in the offensive sets as well.
And when you're able to score like he did the other night, given that you don't have other riel truly talent, maybe beyond Terrace delivered from an offensive standpoint, it speaks volumes to what his value could be, especially when you think about not just the starting lineup where you expect him to be.
But then when you want to maybe flex him into the second unit at times old, a sudden you can think about him having value, being able to take people on off the dribble a little bit.
And when he's knocking down that perimeter shot, especially from the corner, we've seen it really enjoy this.
Once he gets his rhythm from three faking on that attempt and then driving baseline, usually having some easy access to getting around the rib.
And even when defensive presence has been there, they still been able to.
He has still been able to get those looks to go at the ramps up.
Second color gets underway.
It is Anderson whole Crawford, Chios and Moussa remaining out their little give and go.
Nice looking Feed their, though from Anderson into Crawford.
Dumped it off the whole little strong on that flick as he tried to get that look to go.
But again, Right now, you're seeing that veteran presence understanding how the game is played from Crawford, really being able to just you contribute and facilitate that offense.
So interesting to see how this continues to grow here It's Korver again, connecting from deep, Anderson tries to answer on the other end, all front rim here, and that will be Yonas gathering the rebound.
Middleton, back into this rotation ya honest misfiring is passed over to Korver in the corner.
40 37 11 8 18 to go.
We'll take a look inside some of these insights here, as we talked about earlier.
See if any of them are relevant to this game in so many ways, Crawford, look that mid range gentlemen's touch gets the friendly bounce high.
Little hot there, but through in true 40 to 37 advantage.
Ah, the loss that the Rockets gave the roof was that one rims out there for Brook Lopez in the corner.
Gave the Milwaukee Bucks There 1 2116 are.
Obviously, as we highlighted, though they hadn't finished with the best record in the Eastern Conference in 73 74.
So in route toe, locking up that number one seed, they will also be doing something they haven't done in 50 years.
There are some of those benchmarks to check off here for franchises along the way of weather, for the team, overall or for individuals.
We highlighted this that Jared Allen is that now the single season holder for dunks as a little tweak.
Therefore, Crawford boy, I just want Take a beat here and see if he's gonna check immediately out of the game.
God has got his ankle rolled up on there, and you hope that that's not going to be.
Is he immediately, Let's see, takes this handoff and he gets its against Skip's foot, gets stepped down there by Middleton, immediately hops away on it a little bit of a winds.
He checks out of the game immediately, and we'll take a look and see if you just want to make sure you get himself a little bit of a breath there or if it's something more serious.
And men, would that just be a deflating as it can get if this was the return and then the immediate departure for claim work as well and we're going to get yo poppin right up there, ya honest wants to get in the Czech of whole whole having a chuckle here.
John is very upset about that. We'll take a look here.
This probably isn't the best.
Listen what this game results gonna be.
But, you know, getting Yonas fired up here is going to be certainly an interesting look.
Well, I want to get a check on this replay.
Here is ah, Whole may get checked out of the game.
He kicked outside.
I mean, listen, you know, he ends up on the ground there.
You honest? It's It's a light shove.
He's trying to get his.
He's really trying to get himself checked in on Hall, trying to fight for the rebound and positional e, he's underneath the basket.
So, uh, listen, Holly does give a bit of a show, and then you got ahead that Anderson rushes over and just pushes, pushes the honest away from whole whole, has a chuckle about it.
Listen good for the young blood.
If you're going to be in this spot here, you might as well be trying to get physical.
You're trying to make a statement on your own as well.
He continues to have a smile about as the referees just discussed.
What you want to assess here could Maybe it may be just a technical on both sides to make sure you settle things down.
As Anderson and George Hill were having that conversation as well, Brooklyn Nets like a trainer.
There was on the court trying to keep them at bay.
So this could be just what Milwaukee needs to really kind of get those competitive juices flowing and get them back out in front on this one.
But it's 42 37 of the 10 16 mark, and the Nets continue to lead in this one.
As it continues.
Replay here was to a brief step away here, you'll still see my beautiful visual Michigan.
Take a look here on some trending conversations online and see if there's anything worth supplemented here.
As we continue with the action two minutes into the second quarter, it's a shoved to the ground.
They're gonna access the technical, I think here, and I don't expect much more than that.
It's a physical play.
I understand Yonas being upset, but I don't know how much really you're looking for here in just in terms of the response is the honest Let's have no he's going Teoh expletive him up, and then he takes a little walk aside as the directories cooled his head there.
As they'll have the discussion, my little ones will bring about self back from the mute, their heavily invested in this replay.
Right now, as we just wait to see, the referees are reviewing it as well.
We got a little bit of action there, coming in from Nets head over there on Twitter on the last pot of you, said the Bucks will win by 10.
Plus, do you want to stick with that prediction In case you're looking for a Doug Nugget? Plain and simple Yes, and listen, this is fantastic what we're seeing right now, I don't have expectations for the Nets to be able to maintain this over a full 48.
And that's not it's a lot of things.
It's the fact that Milwaukee has their starting line about their minus Brook Lopez.
So there's just zero expectation that Geely player young talent.
I'm optimistic about him in a hole that the likes of 40 year olds, you know, 40 old Crawford.
If you get back out there on the floor, is going to be able to move the needle here.
The fact that she owes it isn't going to get lost in the shuffle there defensively at times, but for as long as we can, I think, uh, you know, Doug Nori and myself and the entire we got it.
Spot casting will be nothing if not happy and ecstatic to say that we were wrong about the Nets being Eller.
Pull this one out or by the Nets, you know, losing by 10 plus.
All right, let's get over into some of the stat lines here and take a look just in terms off the box score and what we've seen so far from both sides of this bull for the Brooklyn Nets rate.
Now your team leader is going to be a TLC has gone four for four and one for one from beyond the arc in nine minutes of action.
So nice job by him, the assist number keys and then more Crawford Right there.
Geos also with me as well.
So you know that that's really again veteran.
And then you talk about the youngster and she o za.
But being able to facilitate offensively and make the smart play more often than not is important.
And also, by the way, zero turnovers here, so already over hope I don't jinx the team there.
You expect to want to come at some point.
But at the end of the day, if you can protect the basketball, that's also going to be the way that you give yourself a chance against a relatively what feels like impossible task of beating a near full strength Milwaukee Bucks.
You only have four turnovers of their own.
In just over 1/4 plus of action, we're back out on the floor.
Looks like they exchanged a little a little handshake, a little slap.
But Yana says a bit of an edge on them now.
So after all that, it's going to be double personals.
And again, I didn't see anything where you were going to say that this looked like it was worthy of technical. Necessarily.
It's a physical plan of the basket.
He does give him a little shove after the play.
And I think from a referee standpoint, you're not trying to overreact to either of these things and just say, Hey, okay, personal fouls across the board.
Let's move on back Underway.
Here is George Hill drives in and Black Shot.
They're gonna call.
Looks like they're gonna call it on the glass there so whole will not get that blocked.
The bucket will count 42 39.
But nice job by the youngster.
They're rotated over the weak side, gave an assist.
They're as George Hill tried to get up and now down the other end, Geos a fires to the corner and we've got a whistle here.
Three second violation for Robin Lopez, who does not appreciate it, is staunchly against this as a sideshow.
Sancho Bob Special Mel, you know, along those lines, more of a Mel and you're gonna have Ah, Moussa going toe line here to shoot that 13 throw procession will remain with Brooklyn.
Things got to slow down here in the second quarter, following the review of that foul under the basket.
We sit here at the 9 54 mark and the Nets holding that four point lead.
Inbounds will come from the outside.
Their hall holds it out beyond the arc, and now we get it over to Moussa sets the screen there on Korver.
Moose of Shuffles uses the screen again.
Floater in the lane.
Little strong off back iron rebounded from the honest.
He'll take this ball working full court swings it outside that Robin Lopez stops on a dime.
Now kicks it often.
Middleton and we will have an offensive foul going the other way.
Here is this is going to be a foul picked up here by Robin Lopez.
Looks like a little bit of frustration from the previous possession.
And if you are the Milwaukee Bucks, the last thing you want is to get Robin into some foul trouble and start to have to get into your bench a little bit more than anything not about the result of this game necessarily, but just from from the standpoint of you should be dominating more often than not, shouldn't be having these kind of frustration plays taking place over the course of the first quarter and now into the second.
She owes it with that Little Euro step, takes on Lopez and gets the gentleman floater over the top.
Nice job from the cheese and he gets that one to go, and the Nets now have a six point advantage as we come upon nine to play Johannes defended by Anderson.
He'll drop it off outside, and now it'll be once again an offensive foul.
Coal here, Middleton confused, and it looks like Let's take a look.
If they're going to say that this is a, well, they're saying, offense it three seconds or if there was a screen violation there.
Either way, it will go over to Brooklyn's I mean boy bench points right now, 18 14 in advantage of the Brooklyn Nets.
So doing everything right as far as it goes.
Announced shows a working inside kicks out to Anderson.
Nice little scoop there. Looks like, gets rejected.
Going to the basket by Honest Johannes.
We'll get fouled, thereby Moussa.
Moussa saw the train comma freight.
That was the honest working towards the rim.
Don't let him get that.
You know that bullying off his confidence there and don't let him have that kind of signature place sweeping through the lane with that length, using it to force down to jam. Instead.
Aside, out, reset.
Get your defense back in front of them.
Rise up there from Middleton and they will call the foul on the floor against Moose's.
So he picks up his second foul there, quickly on back to back place.
Middleton wants that to be at the line.
Instead, it will once again be a side out.
So even plays like this.
You know, the Nets are taking fouls, but the books are getting frustrated, whether it's because they feel like it should have been on the shot.
Whether they feel like it shouldn't have been called that way.
So, you know, it's just interesting.
Listen, if you're the Milwaukee Bucks, of course you're frustrated.
Tipped away there on the inbounds play whole stepped out of bounds, though, so it will stay with Milwaukee as we were at the 8 39 mark here.
Overall, Brooklyn is shooting.
We talked from deep and 17 of 37 46% from the field overall.
Inbounds here, hills swinging around the perimeter now rising up a touch on that one partially blocked.
But it falls inside there and looks like we're going to get that.
And one coal will finally come.
Now she owes it down in there.
It was Williams who cleaned it up, and the whole looks like he's gonna pick up this foul here, as in trying to give this second unit is long of a run as possible before you move back into that starting rotation that held their own when they were in to start this off.
That's off the mark there as we try to just go ahead and get a little bit of ah poll question running here as we work through our live broadcast, see how the people feel as a 45 42 advantage is still held by the Brooklyn Nets, the honest into the lane double team comes, kicks out to the corner, smoothing through from the perimeter, Williams exceeding Bledsoe, knocking that down.
We're tied up 45 at the eight minute mark.
It was six of this second quarter time I've taken here by Jacque Vaughn and the Brooklyn Nets.
Well, let's think about all right.
We fire up a 62nd question here.
And let's think about this in terms of, Ah, at halftime, that's we're gonna go with at halftime here.
Excuse me as I crisply work technology here.
All right, let's fire it off.
Well, the Nets be leading at halftime, as were clearly currently not locked up Right now, at 45 apiece.
Will the Nets be down by five or more down by less than five? Excuse me were down by more than five.
That's the question here.
So this rate now they finally get themselves back even.
Is Milwaukee after everything that the Nets accomplished here over the first? Ah, what would that be? 16 minutes of game ash.
The wall quarter and the Nets could find themselves down.
By what 57 double digits. Human.
Could they possibly have another surge here from that original starting unit will most likely be checking back into the game following the break.
Let me know as time runs low.
And by the way, if you've been following us here on the on the broadcast, whether it's in this game, whether you listen to us on the podcast here on SportsCastr, they've got the pole feature here where we can kind of gauge how people are feeling in a couple of different areas during the live game action.
They've got some trivia that we can work on as well to get a sense of whether we're not.
Ah, you had the history of the Brooklyn Nets at your fingertips or the New Jersey Nets potentially as well.
So if you are doing that, though, if you are in on these broadcasts, participate, jump in on the action because as we move along more participation, we start to get on some of these.
The more likely it is that I will start to introduce some prizes involved around those tributes.
We like to start to set up a little bit of a Siri's.
If we can do it over the remainder of these playing games and we get some action, then come playoff time, that first playoff series for the Brooklyn Nets.
Assuming we get there, we'll go ahead and kind of run a little bit of a mini tournament.
What are the expectations going to be? You come out on the top there, you could find yourself with your hands on maybe a Brooklyn Nets hat, T shirts and other swag and bother me.
So we got Nets pod, cash wag if you're a fan of those types of things, so please get involved as we move along here.
Crawford still talking with the trainer on the sideline, keeping an eye on that, I might say I would be surprised if he returns unless this one somehow stays close and he's feeling confident enough.
But right now, you're still gonna probably want tohave him available over the remainder of these eight games.
And then, of course, for that playoff serious potentially.
So we'll see how cautious they are with him.
