All right, so I guess now you understand what the plan Waas Absolutely.
We talked Indianapolis Colts football.
We're gonna stick to what we know.
Fundamentals and techniques.
1% better every day.
I'm Lourdes Owen.
And this is SportsCastr News.
Now, I must apologize.
I know this is the evening stream, and normally I have Joe new beau and rare out with me on these evening streams.
However, Ray Route is on vacation, and Joe New Beau had to work late.
So I am going to be doing this dream by myself.
But that's all right, because I have organic and God way and the Jacksonville Jaguars to talk about.
We're talking about the jag wires now.
Earlier this season, yet it was offered.
Yeah, he was offered the franchise tag.
It was over $17 million to play this year.
Yet he said, No, I'm not signing it.
I want a contract extension.
They wouldn't give him a contract extension now.
He wants to be traded.
He said I will not sign this.
Plus, I want to be signing a long term deal with whatever team signs me or I'm not playing this season.
That's another guy is gonna be sitting out now.
What he could do at this point in time is maybe I go to the e.
I don't know, could he couldn't go to the opt out.
You know, he would still get paid a little bit of money, right? I think it was like 150,000 possibly I don't know.
And then maybe go about things a different way.
You know what? This whole season, I don't know.
But either way, Jacksonville.
Over the course of his career, at four years, he's gotten like 37 sacks, as that's a nice old chunk.
And if Yannick doesn't play for him, who that's gonna hurt him bad.
I mean, yes, they got Josh Allen on the other side, but he's going to be over there behind him, you know, if the and it's not playing clave on Chase on, I mean, that's the only guy I know it's going to go.
There is no were near as good as Yannick.
Yes, they have mild Jack and Josh Allen.
Uh, Al Woods is not a bad defensive tackle.
Uh, I don't think he's really meant to play three Tech, but that's where he's at.
And then you got Tavon Brian over there at the One Joe Show.
Burton Cassius more senior playing, you know, right back here at the linebacker position with Myles Jack.
And then you got Trade.
Trey Herndon and C J.
Henderson at Corners with Quincy Williams, D.
And we're Sean Melbourne backing them up.
Uh, yeah, Ronnie Harrison.
Jared Wilson is your safety's without any.
This is really gonna hurt this defense.
I'm telling you, they have two really good players and Josh Allen and Myles Jack.
And then outside of that, I am just afraid that this defense is not going to be even a shell of what it once was, even three years ago.
But the good thing is, the offense doesn't look that terribly awful.
That's right, Gardner Men's You fit near a cornerback, Mensch.
You mania, baby. Right.
Okay, So he looked pretty good last year.
Coming in next Bulls.
That's why Nick Foles ain't there no more.
But you know, the Jacksonville let Nick Bulls go, and there's a whole lot of money still going to Nick Fools.
Even though polls is over in Chicago.
Running back Leonard for Net look absolutely great for the first time in his career now that he was actually healthy last season and D.
J chart is actually a really good wide receiver to go along with Chris Connelly and Dede Westbrook.
Plus, they picked up love.
This gifts should know love discussion.
Who is a great? In my opinion, Levis CA will be absolutely Ah, wonderful receiver for Gardner makes you.
He'll be able to dump the ball over to him over the middle.
He's basically a running back who can run routes and catch the ball right and break tackles like a running back rather than you know not just his ability to duck and dodge like a name.
He's more of that guy who can catch the ball, just run you over if you don't well pleases.
Ah, we got Q and Cola's well and calling Johnson, but and Terry God.
One steel and coal was okay, but I really think love isco will probably Seymour snaps than Connolly will this year.
Ah, Tyler. Eifert.
I like O'Shaughnessy.
James at the tight end position.
I think he is a little bit of an unknown to most people who don't actually watch the jag wires.
I've actually watched what he could do.
I think he's better than the third string as they have him right now.
They have Josh all over second.
I would put James O Shaughnessy at the second position myself.
Personally, If you're Jaguars fan, please let me know if you agree with me or not.
Um hey, look here.
Thank you for following me here on SportsCastr crowd pleaser. Lookie here.
And one giant podcast.
Thank you for watching here on SportsCastr.
The offensive line.
You got camera moments and you got Andrew Norwell.
But then you're just kind of leave it out there, right? Brandon Linder.
A j can Jawan Taylor.
Uh, not the top notch offensive lineman in the world there.
Left side. Very solid right side.
Okay, but Leonard, for net is good enough, I think to be able to still perform well, even with not that great of a right side on that offensive line.
And Gardner Minshew has proven that he can extend place and make things happen, even though he does not have the protection that he absolutely needs.
So let's go into the schedule because I want to talk about what they're schedule is.
What what am I gonna predict him toe to do this upcoming season, Right? Let's say that no one else opts out and organic, and God way keeps to his promise.
He ain't playing for the Jaguars anymore.
They host the Indian App with Court Week one.
Traditionally, the Jacksonville Jaguars played the Indianapolis Colts so well at home.
I was just reminded of this by, ah Colts podcast that I was on earlier today, and I completely forgot.
Yeah, last year, the Colts walked into Jacksonville and just got thoroughly dominated.
But then again, this is not the same Jaguars teen.
This is not same Indianapolis Colts team.
I see the Colts coming in and absolutely just blowing this game out.
I think that that the Colts can actually handle the Jag wires, even in Jacksonville.
That's the game I'm given the Colts.
Sorry, Jacksonville fans.
I just You're the bottom of the A F C South and I don't see you coming out of it any time soon.
When you got the Titans, the Colts and the Texans in the same division that are all three looking to be very, very good teams this year.
Then Jacksonville Week two goes to Tennessee and, uh, men can Jacksonville stop Derek Henry? I don't know if they can.
They got a good pass rusher in Allen.
They got Myles Jack, who's as a solid linebacker.
But Tennessee, even with loss of Conklin, still has a very good offensive line and can run the ball very well.
I see the Titans winning this game as well.
Then they host the Dolphins now.
I just covered the Miami Dolphins yesterday, I think, and I don't remember if they have.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure I had the Dolphins beating Jacksonville in Jacksonville, but then the Jaguars go to Cincinnati.
This is a game that I think they absolutely have a chance at winning because the Bengals defense outside of a kans is not that good and their offense, they have some weapons.
They've got a really good running back, Joe Mixon, and they've got a lot of young talent, especially rookies out there with a wide receiver and quarterback.
Even if he was the first round pick or the first pick of the draft, they just don't generally do well their first season when their pick that early.
So I honestly, I think Jacksonville can beat the Bangles, will they? I think the Bengals offense is gonna be good enough to beat him.
Jacksonville starts off Oh, and four.
Then they go toe Houston to play the Texans.
There's too much firepower in that aerial game with the Sean Watson.
Even with loss of DeAndre Hopkins, I don't see Jacksonville beating Houston.
Ah, I see Houston running up the score, possibly scoring more than 35 points.
Jacksonville is not gonna be able to keep up.
They start off in five.
The Lions then come into Jacksonville kind of a similar situation.
Matt Stafford sitting there.
Stafford is a very underrated quarterback, and it's the first year in a long time that the Lions front office has actually started to put some talent around Stafford to try to help him build this offense up.
Their defense really isn't that good.
But their offense, I think, actually has enough firepower to actually do something.
I don't see the Jacksonville winning this game, either.
Jacksonville, start off.
Then the Jag wires go to the Chargers.
Who? Yeah, after a bye week after a bye week, they go to the Chargers now.
Normally, I'm not very big on the charges.
I am do not like the charges offense whatsoever, but their defense is darn solid, all right, They have a great defense.
They got they got a healthy safety now endure.
When James they got some cornerbacks, they got both said they got Ingram.
They've got linebackers.
These guys air solid on the defensive side.
I don't like either the quarterbacks that the charges had, though, and I'm going to give Jacksonville and upset.
Finally, I think Jacksonville upsets the Chargers closely in the fourth quarter on a mention mania drive to beat the Chargers and finally go one and six.
Then Houston goes into Jacksonville.
The charge or the Jaguars are absolutely flying high off their win in the previous week, and I just I think they're in for a let down here, I really do.
I think they're in for a letdown.
Um, yeah, the more I think about it, I'll think it may be the past rush can get to dish on Watson.
But Watson's just too darn good.
Uh, yeah, one and seven.
Then they go to Green Bay November 15th.
It'll probably be cold by then.
Jacksonville's Fairweather team obviously down in Florida, going into a fairly cool environment with not a lot of help on defense to stop Aaron Rodgers even though Aaron Rodgers needs more weapons.
Ah, in the passing game, I think he's ableto do whatever he needs to do to chop this defense apart, and Aaron Rodgers beats Jacksonville in Green Bay.
Then the Browns come to face Jacksonville.
There's just too much firepower here.
We all know the Browns have the turn of talent, both on offense and defense, and even with personality mismatches at this time of year, I still think the Browns are able to pull this off.
After that is December 6th.
They go to Minnesota.
That's a tough one, man.
That is a tough game because will the running back decided to start running form Or is he gonna be like Yannick and not play unless you've given that, you know, contract extension or traded? They already are missing their best wide receiver because Digs decided to go go, uh, ended up getting traded.
But the Vikings defense is very solid.
They still have, ah, weapons on the offense.
I think Vikings can win this game, especially in Minnesota in December.
I'm sorry. Jacksonville.
Then Tennessee goes into Florida to face them on the 13th of December.
This is a game that could actually go Jacksonville's way.
Uh, yes, Derrick Henry is a good running back, But this isn't going to be a cold weather game.
This is This is in Florida, Even though it is mid December, it's going to be in Florida is not going to be snow on the ground.
And even though I had the Titans beat them earlier in the season, it was in Tennessee.
I think Jacksonville still a divisional game, I think.
Men. She was able to pull off an upset.
They finally win their second game of the season.
Jackson Bill goes to the Ravens, then Jacksonville leaves the Ravens not even talk about that game There's no possible if Jacksonville beats if Jacksonville beats the Ravens.
I don't know what I do.
I'd probably, uh, quit doing this.
No, I'm not going to say that because I need a job.
But yeah, I just don't see any possible way that Jacksonville can beat the Ravens.
The Ravens defense is just too solid.
Their offense is very good.
I just don't see how they can beat him.
Then Jacksonville goes to Indianapolis at in Jacksonville.
In Indy is just like colts in Jaguars, where you know they just don't do well when they visit each other.
Even though I have the Colts beaten them in Florida Week one, they come to Indy December, January 3rd at 1 p.m.
This is a game that the courts could legitimately lose because at this point I have Indianapolis being, what 11 12 wins, if I remember correctly.
But I don't see him even if they bring in.
Even if they put Jacoby burst, set in and rest Philip Rivers for the playoffs, Jacoby Brissett is still good enough when healthy to beat the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Okay, they've got plenty of depth at running back.
I think they have enough depth on defense.
Even if they rest their starters.
I believe the Colts could win this game.
Jacksonville ends up two and 14 picking the first picking first and the 2021 NFL draft.
There you have it.
I'm sorry, Jacksonville, but there is a lot of problems going on right now in your little neck of the woods.
And I hate to say it.
Doug Morones got his workout cut out for man.
I really hope that they're able toe put a defense together like they used to have and maybe get some more weapons around Minshew and for Net and shark again.
