sent better every day.
All right, so I guess now you understand.
What plan? Waas.
We talked Indianapolis Colts football.
We're going to stick to what we know.
Fundamentals and techniques.
1% better every day.
I'm Lourdes Owen.
And this is SportsCastr News to, uh, tongue.
Viola has been medically cleared by the medical staff of the Miami Dolphins to officially play the 2020 season.
Now this is a big situation.
There was a lot of speculation on whether or not he would clear before training camp begins.
The rookies have came in.
Now This week begin the training camp process.
He has been cleared.
That's a lot of weight off of Miami Dolphin fans, shoulders.
Now the big question is, will he start the 2020 season? There's been speculation on that as well.
Now, as a personal opinion, I don't believe he should.
Being the training camp starts late.
We're gonna have no preseason games.
Um, just he's gonna It's gonna take time not only for him to understand the players around him, but the playbook Get up to NFL speed.
I believe wholeheartedly that if he was on a different team like, say, the Cincinnati Bengals.
Yes, he should start.
But being that he's on Miami Dolphins and he's got Ryan Fitzpatrick on the team with him that I believe that Ryan should start the season.
Ryan is a capable quarterback and able to lead.
This team showed last year that he can lead this team to not only be, um, effective, but can actually win games down the stretch when needed.
Now, to will obviously brings a few things Ryan Fitzpatrick does not bring to the table.
But Fitzpatrick is still a very capable quarterback now.
Does that mean that I believe that, too, will not play in the 2020 season? Absolutely not.
I think that once to get up to NFL speed, there is a good possibility that he will be kind of weaned in during the 2020 season and depending upon how Ryan Fitzpatrick plays, will depend upon how quickly he will be weaned in.
I see him at the latest being brought in by Week eight.
Now, as a team, let's go over this roster that they have.
I believe that the Miami Dolphins this past off season has done a fantastic job of rebuilding a team to the way they want, and even though I believe that they are doing a very good job, I don't think this is going to be a season where you're going to see them compete in the A F C East, not against teams like the Buffalo Bills or the New England Patriots.
Now they went out and got Cam Newton.
But at quarterback, you cannot really be Mawr ecstatic about having the depth.
They have their with Ryan Fitzpatrick to A to a sitting there as well, and Josh Rosen being the third quarterback running back. No.
One, incredibly great.
But when you have Jordan, Howard, Matt Brita and Kaylin Blockage, you have very solid running backs that you can use in your stable at wide receiver.
Obviously, they still have Devante Parker.
They have Preston Williams, Albert Wilson.
Allen Hurns is also there, as well as the fourth receiver, and my guest, Seki is and capable.
Tight end Adam Shaheen is also, in my opinion, underrated that offensive line.
Austin Jackson that tackle Robert, Huh? At the other tackle, your guards shat Calhoun and Eric Flowers and then your center at Ted Caracas now I think they could do better at the offensive line.
And being that, that is what I think is one of the weak points of this offense.
This could be where you could see two will come in later on in the season to adjust came off this massive hip surgery.
Ryan Fitzpatrick knows how to play behind this offensive line.
You don't want to bring him in when he's not fully able to be at that NFL speed and just coming off major surgery.
When you have an offensive line, the way they're set defensively, I like where they're going, all right.
They have Zack Siler and at the other end, Christian Wilkins, who, in my opinion, with one guy that I really, really like in the draft last year and Devin Bill show, I assume I don't know if that's how you pronounce it, But Raequan Davis is behind him.
Want to really fight for that number one spot at linebackers? They've got some interesting ones, with Vince Beagle and Kyle Vinoy being on the outside and Rick, Juan Millan and Jerome Baker on the middle.
Don't forget, they have Emmanuel oddball and Shaq Lawson, who are backups on the outside.
So even though they're not incredibly superstar power on the outside linebackers, they do have good depth there.
What they black at superstar powers on the front lines they make up for in the secondary with Xavi and Howard Byron Jones, who they picked up this past offseason from the Dallas Cowboys, and Eric Rowe and Bobby McCain at safety.
I think this secondary is going to be just a good probably top 10 in the NFL, and you're gonna have to see it because the front the front four, even though they have potential to be okay, they're going to have to prove it.
Of course, they have my Matt Hack at punter and Jason Sanders as their place kicker.
Isaiah Ford will be there.
Go to put and kick returner.
Let's look at the schedule.
As I said, I believe early on Ryan Fitzpatrick will be the quarterback, and with that being said, the Dolphins will go into New England right off the bat and I think they upset New England in New England. Week one.
Yes, you heard me.
I think they pull it upset Week one and they start off with a huge bang going one.
And oh, now those of you that want to say That's crazy.
You got to think about this.
Last year, near the end of the season, the Dolphins beat New England in New England there, and they were nearly as good a team as they are right now.
Yes, they have can.
But they had Tom Brady last year. Quarterback.
I believe the Dolphins will come out better being Cam Newton has got to have time to understand.
This is where starting Ryan Fitzpatrick over to, uh, we'll get them the win over the Patriots because you will have Cam Newton starting, who will still be learning the Patriots offense.
Then the Bills come into Miami.
Now I love where Miami's going.
I think they're doing a great job, but I just I don't see the Bills losing to Miami.
Even in Florida, I see the Bills walking in and winning that game today.
They are one in one after two weeks, then the Dolphins going to Jacksonville.
I'm sorry, Jacksonville.
I just I like going remains you and and all that.
But I even like Leonard for net.
Okay, But you've lost way too much.
You've lost too much in your secondary.
You lost Collide, Campbell and free agency.
It's just crazy to think that you're gonna be able Teoh even compete with midlevel teams who I believe the Dolphins are.
I see the Dolphins walking just traveling just upstate and defeating Jacksonville.
Then they hoped Seattle again.
This is just a game that I don't see Seattle losing.
They they're just a much better team all the way around.
And I believe Seattle will defeat the Dolphins in Miami at this point.
After four weeks, the Dolphins are two and two.
Then the Dolphins go to San Francisco to face the 40 Niners back to back powerhouses from the NFC.
I just don't see it.
I'm sorry, Dolphins fans.
They They're all to a two and three start.
Then Miami goes to face the Denver Broncos.
Denver, in my opinion, is going to be one of the most improved offenses in the NFL.
To go along with that nasty defense that they have.
I just I think the Dolphins will put up a fight, but I just don't see them coming away with a win here.
and they end up falling to two and four after six weeks.
Now, now comes the interesting part.
Week seven charges come into the Dolphins.
This is where I believe to, uh, steps in for Ryan Fitzpatrick.
After losing three games in a row, I believe to a tongue.
Viola comes in and starts, and because he comes in and starts in Week seven, having had time to learn, this offense learned the players around him and, you know, seven more weeks healthier.
They then host the the Chargers, and I think they upset him.
I think they beat the charges here.
I think the Chargers have a very good defense, but I think that they're not going to be able to handle to, uh, just much like Patrick Mahomes.
I just I don't see it.
I think two is able to lead the Dolphins.
The Dolphins have a very good secondary, which is counterproductive to what the Chargers is going to be wanting to do, and that's throw the football.
I think the Dolphins will come away with a couple turnovers in this game and to lead this team to a victory and they become three and four, then the Rams come into Miami enough first of November, Week eight and I'm not nearly as high on the ranch is a lot of people due to the loss of girly due to the loss of their wide receiver.
But I still think they're a better team than the Miami Dolphins.
I think they lose again.
That puts them at three and, uh, five at the midway point.
Then the Dolphins go into Arizona.
I believe the Dolphins.
This is power for power, right? Good pass defense versus good passing attack.
If this was in Miami, I would give Miami a chance to win this game.
But I don't think they do.
I think, being that they are in the dry climate of Arizona, I believe that the Dolphins will walk away gasping.
That puts them three and six.
We tend the Jets host the Miami Dolphins.
At this point, I have no faith in the Jets whatsoever.
I don't think the Jets can beat them, not only in Miami.
I don't think the Jets can beat them in the state of New York Dolphins, now four wins.
Finally, they're four and six, then they go to New York.
Very odd that they played the same team back to back.
But that is what happens.
But it's a by week, so they get their bye week and then they go to New York.
They get their win, Then the my Miami Dolphins host the Cincinnati Bengals.
At this point, I just don't see the Bengals being good enough to beat the Miami Dolphins.
I'm sorry this is the point where I'm not.
Even though the the Bengals have, Ah, decent, somewhat decent defense.
They got some good weapons on offense through the draft.
I'm just not a believer in A J.
Green because he's been injured the last three years and rookie quarterbacks don't generally start off great in their rookie years.
Now it will be at this point, rookie versus rookie, but I think the Dolphins have the better team all around.
I think the Dolphins definitely wins if they are at home and that's the end of their wins, that next thing you know, they're hosting the Kansas City Chiefs.
I can't give them the win against them.
Then they host the New England Patriots.
At this point, I believe that Cam Newton, as found its footing with New England.
They walk into the Dolphins and get revenge from the week one game.
The Dolphins then go to the Raiders, who I believe are very similar, but they have a step up on the Dolphins.
The Dolphins have been rebuilding since this year.
The Raiders have had an extra couple years.
They do add good talent on that Raiders team.
I believe the Raiders win, even though this is a week 16 game that is flexed.
So we will be determined at what time this game will be played.
Then they finish off going to Buffalo on January 3rd.
And like I said, I believe the Bills sweep them.
So at that point, let's see what the Dolphins have here.
I have them winning 123 Hey, five six.
I have the Dolphins finishing six and 10.
Now there is a chance that they could end up being four and 12 or they can end up being eight. Nate.
It really depends upon how genes end up working out, whether or not there's injuries, two teams or their own team or the team they're facing.
Depending upon how this Kobe thing shakes out or how well, all these new players, the dolphins have acclimating to their team in their first year being there.
