Just because players, not a household name doesn't mean we can't make in the household just because the guy's players, not a household name, does it mean Hello? I'm Lourdes Owen, and this is SportsCastr News.
Frank, right? The head coach of the Indianapolis Colts, is extremely excited about the roster that has been put together by Chris Ballard over the past couple years, including the fact that he has, seemingly the last couple of years, stepped up and brought in some big name talent to go along with all the debt that he has on offense and defense.
People included in those Justin Houston, DeForest Buckner, Philip Rivers, he said.
I think Colts fan should be really excited right now.
I know you don't want to get over hyped and you'd rather be under promised and over deliver and all that stuff, But I'm excited.
I think Coach Nation should be excited.
This roster is a good roster, good players, good talent and, equally important, gold's nation.
Thes air, good men.
These are good men who will represent us well on and off the field.
Now, after having that disappointing season in 2019 when Andrew Luck just seemingly retired out of nowhere just before the season started.
And then Philip Rivers comes in, irked Philip Rivers.
Jacoby percent comes in and starts to play well started all five into absolutely thoroughly dominated certain teams like Kansas City in Kansas City, holding him to the lowest points of Patrick Mahomes, his career at only 13 points scored by them.
Next thing you know, injury start happened.
The top three wide receivers, including T Y Hilton, Paris, Campbell and Devin Funchess at the time, was nowhere to be seen because the injury issues the defense of backs had injury issues.
Even Darius Leonard missed a few weeks due to a concussion.
So what? Frank, right, knew he went out.
He's like, You know what? I'm going to help our team.
I'm gonna go get, um, Xavier Rhodes because we believe that when healthy, he's a Pro Bowl cornerback to go along with Rocky Sin.
We believe that Philip Rivers, if we he has a good running game and a solid offensive line in front of him can again be a top 10 quarterback in the NFL.
They needed debt, that quarterback getting Philip Rivers, keeping Jacoby per set and then drafting Jacob East and in the fourth round allows this team a little bit of breathing room this season at the quarterback position.
Not only that, but they also realized that, Hey, we had to bring our safety's up to the line too much.
Last season, Malik Hooker was out of position multiple times in order to make big plays and keep from big place happening.
So what do you do? He realized that was all on the defensive line.
He wanted to make sure that the defense of line was able to set a good starting point on the run defense and get pressure on the quarterback as well.
In order to do that, they needed a solid three technique with he who has not been able to draft in the last couple years.
So he traded the first round pick to the San Francisco 40 Niners and got DeForest Buckner.
Buckner, the sixth most double team defense of player in the NFL last year, is going to come to the Indianapolis Colts and free up one on ones for guys like Justin Houston, Ing Kemoko, Toray.
People like that also free up more lines so that If a blitz is needed by, say, Kenny Mawr or Darius Leonard or Bobby Ocurre IKI, they'll be able to get in a lot easier and a lot quicker.
So let's go ahead and go over the depth chart for the Indianapolis Colts.
That way we could get ourselves a little bit more, you know, understanding on how this team is, because a lot of people in the NFL right now don't understand the Colts, because they just saw percent was hurt half the season and they finished seven and nine, so they can't be that good.
But the fact of the matter is Philip Rivers being the starter.
Yes, he had 20 interceptions last year on a very poor team a team would wear in which he had to make multiple attempts in the fourth quarter to make massive comebacks in order to try to win games.
Because that's what the NFL is about, and that ended up getting him a few extra interceptions.
But in his career, every time he has high interceptions of 18 plus or Maurin a season that following year or two he ends up being a pro Bowler, expect the same from Rivers being He has an incredible offensive line and a very good running back core.
Speaking of that, Jacoby percent as well as the backup when he was healthy last year, was incredibly efficient.
He had very few interceptions, very high completion percentage created.
He didn't seem to want to throw the ball downfield too much.
But as seen in the Denver game, he does have the ability to shake off sacks and make big plays when needed.
When von Miller had him dead to rights in the end zone for a safety, he shook him all, rolled out to his right and found T Y Hilton on a first down along the sideline for over 20 yards.
Jacob Eason being picked up in the draft, in my opinion, after doing extensive film work, believe that Jake Gleeson probably has the best natural arm talent in this draft.
Yes, I said it now there.
There's a reason why he was drafted in the fourth round.
He does not have a very good His accuracy drops dramatically once he sets himself into motion moving, trying to avoid pressure if he has his feet set and is able to get through his entire throwing motion is incredibly accurate.
It can make any throw anywhere on the field.
But Jacoby per set and the quarterbacks coach is going to have to teach him that.
Even with an offensive line as good as the Indianapolis Colts, he's still going to need to be able to avoid pass rush, occasionally step up, move and make throws while on the move.
He can't just rely on being a statue sitting behind the center.
Now, of course, there is still Chad Kelly sitting there in the fourth position at the quarterback, and Chad Kelly is not a bad quarterback.
He is very quick, even tweeted out lot long ago that he's faster than any other quarterback in the NFL.
Other little more Jackson.
Whether or not that's true, I don't know.
I I'm not gonna put a guess out there.
He has shown last season in the preseason because that's the only games that he got, that he can make a lot of plays on the move and can be a dynamic player doing so.
But he's still a small quarterback and still has some decision problems and accuracy issues, so I don't know if he's going to make this roster when it's time to cut down to the 53 expect Chad Kelly Probably be to be picked up by another team at some point or possibly end up again on the practice squad.
Who knows the running back? Or maybe the best in the NFL Sitting right behind Marlon Matt, who last year broke 1000 yards, had about 4.
5 yards a carry and showed that he could.
When the offensive line is stuffed up front, he could break that ball outside and make, incredibly as moves on top of moves.
He's able to do sidesteps, spin, move, stiff arms.
You name it, he's got it.
He can even hold the ball up tight blower, shoulders and truck forward for an extra couple of yards.
Where they left their laurels.
They went into the second round, moved up a few spaces and picked up Jonathan Trey Taylor V.
Absolute best running back.
Wisconsin has put out maybe ever 6000 yards and three seasons at Wisconsin, averaging 2000 yards a season.
If he'd a stayed another season, he would have broke all college records in the NFL or in the cop.
In the the only issue that Jonathan Taylor has is that he had 18 fumbles during his three seasons, something that Marlon Matt does not do.
Marlon Matt holds onto that football last season and all his carries that he had.
He had zero fumbles.
We're Jonathan Taylor average six a season, And that could be something that you need to watch out for because as we move on to Jordan Wilkins, Jordan Wilkins, if the best yards per carry running back in the NFL with anyone averaging at least 50 yards are 50 carries per season, averaging 5.
8 yards per carry the last two seasons, that's right, 5.
8 yards a carry with at least 50 carries in a season.
Why isn't he getting Mawr carries you last in his rookie year, he had two fumbles early on that completely stopped everything.
One moment Jordan Wilkins was not able to hold onto the football and that Ket Marlon Mack on the field and took away carries from Jordan Wilkins going back to Jonathan Taylor, who was averaging six fumbles a season.
He's going toe, have to be able to hold on to that football because if he has a couple games where he drops the football, you will see a lot less of Jonathan Taylor afterwards.
Doesn't matter how powerful he is.
The running backs coach for the Indianapolis Colts X 40 Niner, Tom Rathmann believes top two things ball control and being able to pass block.
Now he minds rounds out this great running back stable.
Obviously, not that primary running back is not really great at running up the middle or gaining rushing yards on the ground.
He only averages about 3.
4 yards a carry.
However, what he does in third down situations is absolutely amazing.
He is a great receiver out of the backfield.
Plus, don't forget, he showed out last season as a punt return near the end of the season, even had to punt returns against Tampa.
They four touchdowns in the same game, going to the wide receivers where they had an absolute devastation of injuries.
T Y Hilton missed seven games due to lower body injuries, core quad, knee, ankle and did not have no word near what he needed.
What he normally would have expect a bounce back season 40 y Hilton.
And then we move off.
Gotta remember T y Hilton.
Still very explosive when healthy.
He even to Ah, lot of people don't realize led the NFL in receiving yards one year.
The next guy on this list? Obviously.
Michael Pittman Jr.
The second round pick of the Indianapolis Colts, their actual first pick of the draft after they traded away the 13th pick.
Michael Pittman Jr.
Is expected to be that 50 50 guy.
He is tall, He is quick.
He has got great hands, and he knows how to block out defenders.
When going for the football.
Expect Michael Pittman Jr to be one of the favorite targets of Philip Rivers, who loves those big receivers.
The slot receiver.
Paris Campbell again.
Another one of those guys who missed a ton of time due to injuries last year had issues.
He's six foot tall and runs a 42 something 40 incredibly fast.
When he was healthy last season, when the quarterbacks was able to get him the ball on quick drag routes and slant routes, he was able to absolutely blow off the top of a defense, getting tons of yards after the catch.
Expect that to happen again with Philip Rivers, the quarterback who loves to throw over the middle.
Generally, that is too tight ends and running backs, but in this case, expect Paris Campbell to get a lot of those receptions.
We also had Zach Paschal, who stepped up last year with the absence of T y Hilton and Paris Campbell and, of course, Devin Funchess, who was out the entire season.
Zach Paschal became the number one receiver for the Indianapolis Colts, a big 50 50 guy who knows how to run routes very well and run blocks with the best of them.
Don't expect him to actually come in and have the same season he had last season, but he will be used in specific situations.
Next on the list is Jack Doyle.
Jack Doyle is an absolute stud at Tide in.
No, he is not the greatest receiving tight end out there.
He is not George Kittel.
He's not Zach Ertz.
You know he's not Chelsea.
However, he's one of the most sure handed tight ends in the NFL.
He knows how to find an open space in a zone or even in man coverage in order to be a safety blanket for a quarterback in case he gets in trouble.
He's also a very, very good run blocker.
Expect Jack Doyle to get a ton of targets because of the simple fact that he will be on the field because he's so good at just being utilized, available to do just about anything that the coaches need him to do.
Unlike trade Burton, who is most who is a free agent signing out of Chicago in previously Philadelphia, you might have heard his name from the Philadelphia special in that Super Bowl.
Trey Burton is a receiving tight and looking to fill the void that Eric Ebron had when he went on I r.
And then thus afterwards not being signed to an extension.
Mohali Cox is another one of those big basketball guys, kind of very similar to Eric Ebron on Lee.
He is an incredibly good blocker.
Expect him that will get a little bit more playing time this season because he can block in.
He has shown that he has the athleticism to make plays in the passing game.
Now let's talk about again.
Maybe the best starting lineup in the NFL on this team, and that is the offensive line.
Anthony Castonzo came back this season because he was excited about the roster, just like Frank Wright was signed.
A two year extension top.
He was just rated in the top 10 by Pff as a tackle in the NFL, and he's very solid in his job.
Right next to him is a man who needs no introductions.
Probably at this point, the best guard in the NFL probably a little bit better than SAT Martin right now, do the exact Martin's age.
But Quinton Nelson is just a beast and makes guys around him even better, which improves Anthony Castonzo and the center Ryan Kelly.
Ryan Kelly, very underrated at a center very smart up front and able to get into the secondary, also is able to see who's coming and assigned blocks when needed.
Beside Ryan Kelly Marg Lewinsky, whose weakness is in the past game, he is the guy who gave up the most quarterback pressures and sacks on this team.
However, when it comes to the run game, he is a road grater.
Much like Anthony are.
Much like Clinton, Nelson is very powerful, able to set blocks and set an edge when needed.
Braiding Smith, a guy who was drafted to be a guard where morgue Lewinsky is, was pushed out to be right tackle in an effort to fill a bank it spot that seemed to be a weak spot on the offensive line.
The acclimating quickly and now has became a very solid right tackle.
Expect him also to get more note MAWR notices this season by many.
There are a few people on this team on the offensive line that has a few backups.
We got Low Raven Clark, who has incredibly long arms and can play right tackle or left tackle in case Anthony Castonzo or Brayden Smith need breathers.
We also have Jake Elden cramp on.
And don't forget Danny Pinter was for Hanks.
That possibly hit is a believe will be able to come in and maybe compete with Martin Lewinsky for that guard spot.
Let's go to the defense.
Let's check out the defense of ends just in Houston who came out.
It came to city last year or the year before, and a lot of people thought that he was just, you know, lost his way.
He's gotten too old.
His numbers were coming down.
Last year, he ended up with 10.
A turn of run tackles was an absolute beast out there on the defensive end.
Ben VANOC, Booth rookie who backs him up, is another solid guy.
I believe Ben Ban Agu is very similar.
Uh, not to Justin Houston, but to the guy who he replaced a lot more of in the years prior.
He's very good at setting and edge.
It's a second season.
I think he could be a breakout candidate this year.
Now, obviously, the three tax is DeForest Buckner, who came out of San Francisco.
I can't say enough good things about the forced Buckner.
I think just his presence on this team on this defensive line not only improves the pass rush, but he's great against the run.
And because he is so disruptive up front and allows other people to get more penetration on that, uh, on that line, it makes things easier for the cornerback.
So just that one guy affects the entire defense.
Uniqlo Autry, another guy who could come in either end or at tackle, very good at getting penetration on that line of scrimmage as well.
Not the best at run defending.
He's not very good at that, but he can legitimately get through a blocker when it's one on one and get penetration.
Ah, Grover Stewart, the nose tackle, Big man, over £350 of beef.
And he's very tall.
Last year, he was the guy that was doing what divorced Buttner's expected to do this year and take up double teams.
And even so, there was multiple times when he only had one blocker.
He was able to just out power them.
Get past that and get pressure in sacks.
If divorce Buttner, he are side by side on the line on, say, first downs.
Who are you going to double? Tai Kwan? Lewis is a second or 1/3 year player who the court hope toe have a lot of help.
Hope to be that three tech guy, but last season kind of disappeared A lot.
Don't know what to expect this season.
I'm really hoping that Tie Kwan Lewis comes into this rotation and shows out when he has time to play.
Sheldon Day was another backup for the tackle position a guy who could play all three positions on the defensive line can hold on a double team and not give ground.
But don't expect Sheldon dated to be that guy who could get a lot of pressure.
He defends the run and he eats blocks.
But he's good at what he what he does.
Kemoko Turay, the guy I am most excited about.
Kemoko Turay last season was on pace for a monster breakout season, and then he got her at the end of the Kansas City game in Week five.
He had more pressures than any other defensive end in the NFL last season.
Up to that point of injury.
He was held so often because he was getting pressure so much.
Expect Chemical to Ray after a majority of the season arrest.
Plus, this past off season being fully healthy, I am looking for Kemoko to Ray, who's been working with Robert, Mass.
It's the past two years to improve his pass rush abilities to be a dominant player opposite Justin Houston on obvious passing downs.
When it comes to the linebacking corps, there is incredible optimism.
A lot of underrated players on this team in the linebacking corps.
Let's start off with the middle linebacker Anthony Walker, who has been overshadowed the past two season because of this compatriot sitting over there.
Bobby Okereke last season led the team in tackles, had Mawr tackles in various Leonard and yet less snaps.
That is correct.
A lot of people one of fate. World various.
Two games last season? Well, Anthony Walker shared time with Bobby Okereke.
So what lesson? His snap.
So he actually ended up with 11 less snaps, then various Leonard, but still had more tackles.
Plus, he is the coach of this defense, the on field coast, the guy who knows how to get everybody in line.
Make sure there's the right amount of people on here.
Read the offense.
All that when he's not on the field is obvious because the defense just looks lost.
Sometimes if Anthony Walker is not on the field, let's talk about Bobby Ocurre iki, the guy who sometimes will come in when they're they're in nickel formation beside Darius Leonard because of this speed because of his length because of his ability to help in a zone past defense, very much like various Leonard.
That is actually who.
A lot of people compare Bobby Okereke, too.
He looked very good in his rookie year.
There was some few things that he needed to learn, like how to shed blocks.
Keep this arms out so that blockers are able to get their hands on him so he could shed those blocks.
Easy to make a play.
But I'm sure he's going to be able to learn that from various Leonard, his counterpart over there at will.
Darius Leonard is a beast.
He's good at shedding blocks.
He makes tackles.
He makes Splash plays.
He gets interceptions.
He forces fumbles.
He does everything that you need a player to do at the will.
And yet, for some reason, Madden wants to rate him as an 85.
Who knows? We'll see.
Dairy Splintered is very underrated.
He, in my opinion, Darius Leonard is a top three linebacker in the NFL.
Let's move on to the quarterbacks.
Second year starting cornerback Rocky Thin Rocket Thin started off the season last year a little bit rough.
He is a very physical cornerback who likes in your face hand to hand combat fighting that type of situation where he just wants to be in the face of the receiver the whole time you got called out a lot of pass interference calls last season.
That is the truth.
He got burned a couple times to in that process.
But after the Pittsburgh game, he started to settle down.
Started to understand what, um, what the referees were looking for.
Understand what he was able to do and what he's not able to do.
So he does not get that pass interference calls.
He ended up being the second best rookie cornerback in the NFL, rated by Pff.
Opposite him is Julie.
Now Xavier Rhodes, Last couple seasons for the Minnesota Vikings.
Started off their seasons very impressively.
Actually, Uh, he was still very good at doing his job early in the season.
He would take on guys like Julio Jones and and Cheetah Hill and hold them to maybe one or two catches for short yardage.
The problem with him is, as the season went on, he would get injured core injuries, quad injuries, ankle injuries, foot injuries.
These are the type of injuries that hamper what he does best and that his his athleticism and speed and being able to cover guys.
And that's why he looked bad in the second half of both these past seasons.
But back in 2017 when he was healthy, the full season, at least in that aspect, the lower body aspect he was a Pro Bowler All Pro and one of the best corners in the NFL.
Chris Ballard picked him up in hopes that he can regain that and stay healthy and help guys like Rock Yasin hold down the fort at Nickel corner.
Perhaps the most underrated defensive back in the NFL is kidding Mawr the second At this point in time, he is probably either number one or number two quarterback in the NFL.
If you go look at stats now, he's not known by anybody.
Why is that? Well, it could be because the Indianapolis Colts are small market team and have no home primetime games haven't hosted a primetime game in like five years, so no one knows anything about the Indianapolis Colts.
No one knows anything about Kenny.
Mork anymore is a solid, solid nickel corner.
He comes in, he gets sacks on blitzes, comes out of nowhere.
Very, very fat, Very, very physical.
He's ableto stay to glue, toe your slot receivers and not passes down, making it very difficult for any kind of quarterback to get a ball in on a slot receiver.
Let's move on to the safety position, which is incredibly deep, believe it or not, starting off with someone who has been a bit of a disappointment the last couple years.
And that's Malik Hooker.
That safety out of that free safety out of Ohio State who came in during the last that very first year of, um, Chris Ballard picked him up with the 16th pick of the NFL draft.
He was not extended 1/5 year option.
There's a reason for that.
His stats have not been there the past couple years.
His availability hasn't been there the last couple years.
He's been injured, obviously had the A C l N c L tear on its rookie year.
He's just not been up to par of what the team has expected.
However, I believe that now that he is fully healthy last season, I think he played very well for what the courts asked him to.
But the problem is the Costa not ask him to play Hiss position properly, the general most generally of the time last season.
A lot of times he was up near the line of scrimmage rather sitting back and playing that safety over the top rule.
That's why he did not get a lot of He didn't get a lot of stats, right? He just didn't because he was up near line of scrimmage all the time helping against the run game.
Qari Willis, rookie last year, took over for Clayton Geathers because he's just a good A tacklers.
Clayton Geathers was.
But he's a lot more, uh, athletic.
He's quicker and he gets to the ball faster.
He showed last year that he has very good ball skills.
Still, Young still has time.
Still, at times, has decision making problems when it comes toe the angle of pursuit and stuff like that.
But I think that that is something that can be learned with just repetition.
You know she needs time on the field at that strong safety position.
I love fat that with the forced Buckner on the field on that defensive line, I believe that Malik Hooker and Qari Willis.
You will see them sitting back in a too deep safety zone more often than what you've seen that happen last season, and that will prevent a lot of big plays.
Last year, the Colts had a lot of problems in the kicking game, but not out of Rigoberto Sanchez, the punter.
Great poner had a great season still there.
Obviously, I just talked about how he mines being the punch and kick returner.
But there is a little bit of fight this off season for the place kicking position at a military had issues with injuries and a lot of missed kicks even missed extra points last season.
So they brought in Chase McGlaughlin, who only missed one field goal and no extra points during that period of time, where in which he relieved at invented Terry while he was on IR.
He was granted a one year extension after the season was over, but the Colts did pick up an undrafted free agent in Rodrigue.
Oh, Blankinship, a powerful kicker out of college, the guy whose nickname this hot Rod because he wears the thick glasses on his head.
This will be an interesting position to watch to see who wins that kicking position this season.
Now what's going on? DeVeaux.
I want to thank everyone who's joining me here on SportsCastr.
It's Wild Child 88.
Luke, 68 13 and K Ball Girl.
If I didn't name your name off, then that means you don't have a profile because there's 45 people here and I just named off six people.
You go make a quick profile here on SportsCastr.
That way you can show up here in the live chat in Iraq with me.
Doesn't take 15 30 seconds.
All right, let's move on to the the schedule, shall we? Now, I'm not going toe go into a deep dive on why I'm picking all these.
And like I normally do, this will be something that, perhaps at a later time I will do, um, or more, uh, in debt reasoning for these games.
But I am very high on the Indianapolis Colts this year.
I think they are probably the second or third best team in the A F. C right now.
They obviously showed last year as a weaker team.
They were able to be Kansas City.
There are much better team this year than what they were last year, and they stay healthy.
I believe they can have a very, very good season.
They start off the season against Jacksonville in Jacksonville.
I don't think this is even going to be close to a game.
I think the Colts win this in a blowout, more than two touchdown.
Then they host the Minnesota Vikings.
But we're talking about a guy.
This is Week two.
Cook might not even be playing cause he's talking, holding out.
They don't have digs gnome, or they don't have their cornerbacks no more.
Because the Colts have Xavier Rhodes.
I see the Colts hosting the Vikings and beating them pretty easily.
Actually, even though they still have Adam Feelem, I just I don't see them able toe really be that team that you expect.
Uh, then they host the Jets.
This seems like an early bye week game to me.
I just don't see how the Jets can stop the run game or even, ah, get much going on the offensive side being that the Colts pass rush and the Jets offensive line is the strength opposed toe weakness on this team.
Then the course colts go to Chicago.
This could be interesting game.
The Bears have a very, very good front seven defense, but the courts have a very, very good offensive line as well.
This is one of those games that I believe whoever score 17 1st wins and I believe in.
And I believe in Indianapolis's offense more than I believe in the Bears offense.
So I'm going to give this one to the Colts as well.
Then the Indianapolis Colts go to Cleveland, the Cleveland Browns.
Now I think this could be two separate Cleveland Browns teams.
We could have the Cleveland Browns of the last couple of years that just have have been, Ah, not very good with each other locker room.
They don't mesh well, or this could be a team under new head coaching is able to come together and perform well together and believe in each other.
Either way, the Indianapolis Colts last season hosted the Browns, and the Brown started a lot of fights during practice, which disrupted practice quite a bit during preseason.
I think the Indianapolis Colts will remember this.
I think they'll go into Cleveland.
I believe in the Colts more than I do the Browns.
I love the Browns offense and the Browns defense.
They have a couple of good players.
I just believe that the Colts arm or in depth, they have more death than the rest of the team.
And I'm not 100%.
That Baker Mayfield will be able to hold back from throwing deep against are very good, deep safeties.
I think we'll see a couple turnovers in this game.
I think the culture try to run the ball down their throats a lot and passed to a lot of tight ends.
I see Indy winning this game by maybe four.
So I got the Colts now five to no Bangles and go to the Colts.
And I just I don't see Joe Borough.
No matter who's on that team as a rookie, no rookie generally ends up doing well his first year.
Almost no rookie does well his first year, and he still as a trash offensive line.
I just don't see the the Cincinnati Bengals coming to the Indianapolis Colts and being able to pull off an upset court to go six, you know, then the Colts travel up the mission in and face the Detroit Lions.
This is going to be interesting game because I am a very high Matt Stafford guy, and I also believe that the Lions are for the first time in many years trying to build around Matt Stafford.
And I think they are actually possibly going to be a much better team this year than they have in the last couple of years.
However, I still believe the Colts are by and four a better team all around, especially on defense and slaves, not there with Lions anymore.
I don't think the Lions are gonna be able to hold back the Colts passing game, let alone their running game.
I ain't the coal to run away with this one week nine after a bye week? No, not after a bye week.
The Lions game is after a bye week after they beat the Lions and our seven.
No, they they host the Baltimore Ravens.
This is the first game that I'm going to give them a loss score.
Not because I don't believe they can beat the Ravens because I fully believed the Andy can beat the Ravens I think this is gonna be a knockout, drag out fight to good defense is too good offensive lines to great running games.
I think this is a game that can be an absolute knockout, drag out kind of fight.
I don't see either team on this scoring more than 21 points.
I don't see either team winning by more than seven.
I am going to put them a loss here only because I believe that they between the Vikings, the Bears, the Browns, the Lions and the Ravens they could legitimately lose one of these.
And I'm just gonna put it here because it just seems fitting.
But still, that leads the team seven and one after midway through the season, then indeed goes to the Tennessee Titans.
I am going to split them.
I am going to split the Titans Colts games this year just because so courts go to Titan's.
They're a good team.
Well, Coast, good defense, good running game, blah, blah, blah.
Very similar to Indianapolis.
I'm gonna have him split, so they end up being seven and two, and then they host Green Bay.
Green Bay's a good team, but I don't think they have provided enough weapons for Aaron Rodgers.
I think this is gonna be a game that could very well be a high scoring game.
I think both teams will score over 21 Uh, but I believe it will be the home team that will win.
And he's got a very good run game.
They've got incredible past, incredible defense.
I think their front seven will be able to get a lot of pressure on Aaron Rodgers now.
Aaron Rodgers is magic, right? Magic man? He showed it last year.
He still has it, so he will get a lot of plays off when he needs to.
I just think that the Colts consistent pressure on him will keep this game in a position where the Colts will keep the lead and hold on to it past halftime.
Now they're eight and two with 10 games in Titans, then visit the colt.
I already said they split with the Titans.
They lost at Tennessee.
They're going toe win here versus Tennessee.
Then they go to the Texans.
I am going to split with the Texans Onley because they always split with the Texas, and I believe that this offense is better than the offense they had last year.
Even though they don't have Hopkins.
You're if you if you haven't seen what I've already said about that whole situation, go back, check out some of my previous videos.
I explain why, but simple fact is he has Mawr.
Good options is going to force him to look through his progressions and find the open receiver rather than just home in on DeAndre Hopkins play in play out, which will make DeShaun Watson a better player.
Wow, three of their last five games they've lost, huh? All right, then they go to the Raiders.
I believe they walked into Las Vegas.
It'll be an exciting game.
There's two games here near the end in the Final Four that they have a chance of losing.
Um, this is one of them, just because Oakland is slowly getting better.
But I still feel as though Indianapolis is the better team all the way around.
I feel that, uh, the scary thing is, is that Philip Rivers and the Oakland Raiders know each other, so who's going to get the advantage here? I believe it will be Frank, right? I believe, Frank, right? I believe in Frank, right? I believe that he will do the right thing in calling this game.
I think the Colts will walk into the Raiders and win this game.
Um, it could be, Ah, high scoring game.
It could could definitely have a 50 over.
But I still believe the Indy should beat the Raiders.
Then the Texas go to the Colts have already said they split with the Texans.
They already lost two weeks prior in Houston NRG Stadium.
They come into Lucas Oil Stadium.
Nichols walk away with a win here.
Then indie goes to Pittsburgh.
I don't know what it is about Pittsburgh.
I just don't know.
Plus, they go to Pittsburgh late December.
Okay? Late does.
This is after Christmas, so it's gonna be nasty and cold.
Indy is a dome team.
I'm afraid that this is ah, trap game for Andy.
I think he's gonna walk.
They never play Pittsburgh.
Well, they couldn't even beat Pittsburgh last year.
And they didn't have been ruffles.
Burger now granted, Indianapolis lost their quarterback.
Ah, and I believe the second quarter due to an injury, Brian Hoyer comes in throws like 45 interceptions or something like that and they lose the game.
But I'm expecting Ben Roethlisberger to be there.
I'm still expecting that very fast, opportunistic defense for the Steelers to be there.
I'm going to give the Steelers this win at their home turf because of weather.
Then the Jaguars come to Indianapolis.
And again, it's not a game that I think that Indianapolis is gonna lose and they win that one.
So what do I have is a total record? Well, I've got him losing one to free four.
I just gave the Colts 12 and four.
I would say 12 and four will win the A F C South.
I think that's the high end.
However, I think that's the high end at 12 and four, simply because you can't It's too difficult to put in stuff on injuries.
Obviously, I think the Colts have one of the better rosters in the NFL and at 12 and four with a fully complete, healthy roster.
I think indie should should could very well get that, however, and he's been known for getting injuries throughout their roster throughout the season.
That's one of the reasons why they were seven and nine last year.
The big reason why they went seven and nine last year because of the slew of injuries to all their starters across the board.
If Indianapolis has another one of those seasons where they have a slew of injuries, they could very well end up eight. Nate.
But I don't believe you're gonna have that same situation back to back seasons.
I think indie could end up 12 and four and fighting for the second or third seed in the A f. C.
